February 20, 2017
So far, so LOVE! This is a really nice looking faucet and I LOVE the sprayer feature. It looks beautiful when on the sprayer feature and of course, best part is that it actually works. It's also nice that there is a button on the sprayer feature so you can turn it off for a second without having to turn the whole faucet off... overall a very good product and worth the price.
Absolutelly Perfect Kitchen Faucet
October 24, 2015
I did a great deal of research reading many reviews on many Kitchen Faucet Brands, and trusted my instinct on everything I read about on the Kohler K-560-VS Bellera Pull Down Kitchen Faucet, to replace my Moen Kitchen Faucet that had terrible flow since it was installed 3 years ago.It took me an hour to take out the Moen after I had to search for their plastic wrench for it., and it took about 20 minutes to install the Kohler, following all of the directions completely, then. I flushed out the lines, before installing the nozzle hose. While I was still under the sink, I asked my wife turn on the faucet so I could check for any potential leaks, and she said she could not get any water out of the nozzle, and that made me wonder a little, so I got out from under the sink, and tried it myself, and it worked fine. I realized that some people had returned their units because they could not get any water either. I had to tell her that the directions say to move the lever from cold in the front, to hot in the rear, but you have to move the lever straight out to the side, in order to get the proper flow desired. Great product, with Great Flow, we love the three modes, Regular flow, Wide straight flow for cleaning dishes, plus the quick stop flow button, and very flexible hose with a tilt feature, with no leaks, plus magnetic assistance on the hose to the faucet connection. Plus we are recommending it to all of our friends.
Beautiful faucet; smooth operation, easy installation
April 3, 2015
This is a 5-star product. It's beautiful, very easy and smooth operation. Product arrived in sturdy packaging with all needed parts... until we learned we needed an adapter to connect the supply hoses to the water lines. I'm not faulting Kohler for this; I guess it's bound to happen to some folks depending on what type of faucet they had before (ours was a Moen installed by the builder). The instructions were simple; the hardest part was removing the old faucet. My old Moen had a spray hose that made an annoying metallic noise upon extending it. The Kohler hose is a quiet flexible nylon hose, which is much better. We also installed a new air gap (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JX42I2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) while we were at it. The only drawback of the faucet is that the handle is a bit tall, so it hit my window sill when it's pushed all the way back in the "hot" position. I had to rotate the entire faucet a degree or so, so the handle isn't perfectly at the 3 o-clock position (photo below). Not a big deal but just something to be aware of if your faucet placement is near a shelf or window sill. Overall I'm very pleased and would purchase this again!
The install went pretty well ( aside from my own mistakes)
March 29, 2015
Just Bought it, and just installed it last night. The install went pretty well ( aside from my own mistakes). My townhouse is a bit new 2008 and it contains PEX ( the red/blue hoses) with 3/8 female screw cap at the ends. The faucet comes with 1/2 screw heads at the end, so I needed to get a 1/2 - 3/8 adapter to mate those two hoses, or equivalent valve switch. I went with the adapter because all the PEX is fead into a water Main box that allows me to turn off every facet at a central panel. I used the single whole mount, and it looks amazing. The flat spray setting takes a little bit of getting used to but it works great. I don't know if I will have any issues down the road, but hopefully Kohler will keep this faucet around for a long time. Its almost perfect. I would rather detachable spray head be metal like the rest of it, instead of plastic. My girlfriend is going to love the new surprise. Kudos to me ;)
This is a great looking and functional replacement to our deteriorated Delta pull-out ...
January 20, 2015
This is a great looking and functional replacement to our deteriorated Delta pull-out faucet. The installation was fairly easy and straight forward (you will need a small amount of stainless plumbers putty). The only issue I had was that I did not know you needed to push/pull the handle sideways to get it to turn on/off. I thought just moving it forward and backward turned it on/off but that is just for hot and cold control so it took me a few frustrating minutes to figure out why it wasn't working (probably just me being an idiot). As others have said, the shower spray setting makes a mist after contacting the bottom of the sink but I normally only use the shower function when spraying off things and I typically do not just let it spray in the sink like that. Water flow is excellent and is stronger than my old Delta. Very happy so far.
Good Quality Faucet with nice features
July 16, 2013
We have had a single handle Moen faucet in our kitchen sink for 4 years. The faucet had an attractive look to it but every year it would develop a leak. I would replace the 22 dollar cartridge and it would work fine for a year and bingo... the leak would come back. After reading several online reviews, we decided on the Kohler K-560 to replace the Moen. The faucet was an easy install with everything you need. In a single hole application, you simply drop the faucet in, screw on the base ring and tighten the two set screws with a long screwdriver. Most sinks are deep and thus from the under side you will need a long Phillips Screw Driver. The hoses are applied finger tight and the pull out faucet hose has a simply one-click design to attach it to the faucet.Really, the set up couldn't be much easier. I took about 10 minutes to install the faucet because I wanted to make sure I did every step only once. The faucet is easy to operate and very smooth. The head pulls out slowly and with a nice feel to the weighted return. The sprayer head has the two settings and a temporary hold button as well. The only thing that could be a problem for others is that the handle is on the right side of the faucet and really shouldn't be swapped around. If you flip it the other way, the hot side will be pulled toward you and the cold pushed away. If you are not stuck with a left hand operation, you are in great shape.I'll update this review after a year of service as that is the longest I ever got from my prior Moen and well.. Lets see how the Kohler holds up.

Great soap dispenser it complements my Bellera Pull down Faucet
August 8, 2016
Great soap dispenser it complements my Bellera Pull down Faucet! Quality and sturdy canister holds the liquid soap. I have purchased a couple of others from Home Depot and the plastic was flimsy. This product. Is very well made. Chalk up another great product from Kohler.
Very elegant!

Looks very elegant with the new Kohler Simplice faucet. Works well so far. Holds a decent amount of soap too.

and like the design and function
September 2, 2017
We've had this faucet for over a year, and like the design and function. But we've had to change the plastic valve cartridge inside the handle 3 times in 1 year. The Kohler OEM cartridge part for this faucet just doesn't seem to last very long. It's not that difficult to replace, takes about 10 minutes, but changing it every few months gets a little annoying.Other than that, it seems to be a nice kitchen faucet.
Very nice faucet with few minor issues
August 28, 2017
Writing this review after more than year of owing the product.Recently the screwed pipe at base of the faucet came off and hence not being able to fit to the sink. I called customer service and they immediately took care of the problem, which prompted me to post this review recommending the product.Couple of minor inconveniences I have faced.1. The button (black small button inside the faucet head) that turns off and turns on is really hard. So we don't use it often.2. The spray is very fast compared to non-spray flow. So it is good for its intended function of wash off in quick way but we cannot use that for normal washing otherwise the water would splash off to floor or out of island. Wish we had third flow mode, where it is spray but usable for washing.Anyways, you will not be disappointed if you buy this, especially with this elegant looking faucet and amazing customer service (shout out to Victoria who assisted me today over the phone).
Sleek new faucet.
June 12, 2017
The faucet arrived on time. The instructions weren't completely clear on the installation. Where the feed hose attaches to the supply was a little confusing. I was going to do the plumbing installation of the new sink and faucet but due to time constraints I hired a plumber. I installed the faucet on the sink. He made sure I had the faucet installed correctly on the new sink (it was). The fan spray is a hit and the unit looks great and does a good job. I like the pause feature. My wife is happy. I'm happy.
Looks great!
June 10, 2016
Overall this faucet works great. One thing to note though if you have your sink set in front of a wall for a window ledge, the handle of this faucet may not work properly with it on the side. That is what happened to us and we ended up just rotating the faucet so that the lever is in the front. Just something to keep in mind when choosing a faucet. The only reason I marked down a star was due to the fact that there was a piece missing. Kohler didn't have it in stock so it was backordered but I called amazon who did have one in stock and they were able to overnight it so we only had to go 1 more day without a functioning kitchen rather than another 10 days. Now that it is all installed, I really like it. The pull down sprayer comes down nicely and goes back nicely since there is a magnetic connection. You can have the faucet running normally or you can press a button to make it spray. There is also a button that pauses the flow of water which is handy too.Feel free to ask me any questions :)

January 30, 2015
Looks good.Wish it also came with a bottom mounting plate, like some of the other models do. (Or maybe it did and my handyman just didn't install it.)I also had a Reverse Osmosis system installed under the sink, and replaced the cheap silver RO water spout with something that matches the faucet: ASIN B00961NLK0.
Beautiful and functional - with update 7-28-17
July 21, 2014
This replaced a 6 year old Moen low arc pull out faucet that I liked but my husband didn't because it was too low (also, the pull out plastic piece broke almost immediately so it was never tight when not pulled out). When an undersink connection sprung a leak on the Moen I looked at replacements that would satisfy both of us. This more than meets our expectations. We both love the height and the full swivel. I love the magnet that keeps the head tight when not pulled out. The sweep spray is very powerful. It was also a very easy installation - it was twice as hard, and took over twice as long, to disconnect and remove the old faucet - the new one was installed just a few minutes. The Amazon price was amazing. Highly recommend this faucet.Update 7-28-17. I have taken off one star. In the time since I purchased this we have had to replace the spray nozzle due to a large drip from the spray section when it was on the single stream setting. And just this week we replaced the pull out hose because of a very large leak from the gasket of the rotating ball socket that connects to the spray nozzle. This last project was difficult because we couldn't separate the quick connect without lifting the entire faucet above the counter top. We couldn't get the required grasp on that connection to separate it when working on your back, inside a cabinet, and behind the sink. Our well water is extremely hard, so I surmise that the minerals in our water have led to these problems, but I expected it to be more durable. It still looks great and I do love how it works.

April 29, 2015
The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it's not made for little hands. I usually use I hand to pump out the soap and the nozzle on this is so long that it is hard for not only me to do since I am short and have small hands, but my young son as well. If the nozzle were just an inch or so shorter it would've gotten 5 stars.
pretty! nice finish! plastic components scream lack of durability
May 22, 2014
Bought this, installed it. finish is nice, works well, but the plastic component interior doesn't seem terribly sturdy. It probably won't last a lifetime, like other kohler products, but a good couple of years I'm hoping.
Nice looking and reasonably priced
February 3, 2014
I wish all of these dispensers were a bit cheaper, as 50 something bucks seems like a lot for a soap dispenser, sigh. Aside from that, my only beef is that a little bit of soap builds up on the under side where the soap comes out. So you have to wipe off the excess from time to time, not a real big deal. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. We ordered a Kohler faucet, so stuck with Kohler brand to make sure the finish was the same, and it's a perfect match. Seems easy to refill (my husband did it), but a month into using it with a family of 6, haven't needed to yet.

Manufacturing problems solved eventually
July 20, 2017
I purchased a Kohler K-560-VS Bellera Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet on April 1, 2017 from Amazon. After only a couple months of normal use, the DockNetik, magnetic docking system has come loose. See photo.I emailed KohlerCustServ@kohler.com on July 8. I followed up on July 12. It's been over 10 days and without a response from them. However, I know they received my email because they sent me a satisfaction survey on July 11 asking "Based on your customer service experience with Kohler Co., how likely are you to recommend KOHLER plumbing products to friends or colleagues?" I chose 0 out of 10.How do I go about getting it repaired under warranty? As for other aspects of the faucet: it was easy to install and operates smoothly.Update:Kohler customer service got back to me and agreed to send a new faucet. So far, so good. I am updating my review to 3 stars.
Looks great - issues are overwhelming
July 8, 2017
Love the aesthetics of the faucet. Fits perfectly in our kitchen, but we're run into several issues that we would never have expected from a Kohler product:- The hot water is inconsistent - the water pressure doesn't change, but part-way through washing dishes the water temp gets cooler then suddenly comes back. When we first installed the faucet we had no issues with the water temp, but over the past several weeks its progressively gotten worse.- Spray head does not lock in either position (stream or spray) - EVERY time we turn on the faucet it's in-between both positions and have to adjust it before we can proceed.- The spray head is now leaking - the most recent trick, the spray head has started leaking after we shut it off. It subsides after a few minutes, but one more issue that is making us regret going with this faucet.Overall the faucet looks great, but these issues are overwhelming. Hopefully, we can get resolved through Customer Service otherwise, we will have to replace.
Three stars is very generous
August 28, 2016
I always used to be a Kohler fan. Not so much now, after buying this faucet to replace one that got all gunked up internally with calcium and lime deposits. From day one, this faucet leaked (just small drops) after turning it off. Had planned to return it, but talked to Kohler and they sent a replacement cartridge. But leaking from the start is not a good sign of things to come. Using it, the first thing I noticed is that the on/off lever is not smooth and easy - a characteristic that had previously made me an ardent Kholer fan. After a month it is still sometimes hard to turn it on or off. What I truly detest about this faucet is the linear spray pattern. All my life, faucet sprays have been conical, and for good reason! Guess some engineer figured out how to make a round water outlet spray in a linear pattern as a result of many individual streams that crisscross, narrow at the top and way too wide at the bottom. It might be a design coup, but it's a disaster for practical use. This wide linear spray causes an over abundance of splashing that goes well beyond annoying. Have plenty of paper towels handy!Furthermore, the alleged magnetic coupler that is supposed to retract the faucet head after pulling it out, doesn't work worth a bag of beans. Had to get a heavy weight to put on the hose in order to make it retract. And then one has to fiddle with the faucet head to make it sit straight without ant gaps between it and the tube above it.On a positive note, the exterior design is very aesthetically pleasing. However the position of the lever for temperature choice was poorly done, making the lever hit wall behind the sink for full hot, no cold, unless one has a very large space between the sink and the wall. Most of us do not, having standard depth counters. I particularly appreciate that it is not a jumbo monster that makes the kitchen faucet the focal point of the kitchen. This is just the right size. Additionally, the finish is very attractive, a nice matte stainless steel that resists water spots, though nothing can eliminate them completely. It also has good water pressure, despite California's best efforts to make us all suffer for their water shortages. This could be a great faucet with some design changes and fixes.
The hose wears out and starts to leak in less than a year
December 5, 2015
The Kohler K-560-VS was easy to install and operated great for 11 months. However, the hose seems to have prematurely given out and is now leaking. The hose has developed a leak about one inch above the head connection. If the hose was under pressure at all times it would have bursted. It started as a pin hole leak but is getting more profuse with use. I would think that such a hose should last longer than 11 months. This will now have to be replaced.
Beautiful, but head keeps getting clogged!
November 8, 2015
Beautiful faucet....however, I wouldn't recommend it if you have well water. Ours keeps getting "clogged" with what we are guessing is debris from our well (or calcium build up?). It significantly decreases the water pressure & creates a broken stream. There is no way to remove or clean the filter inside the head. Called Kohler customer service about our issue, they seemed to be aware that this happens & they sent us a replacement head for free. Had the new head about 6 months and it's happening again...aggravating! 2nd time in 1 year. We're either going to buy a new faucet or ask Kohler to replace it with something else that doesn't get clogged. Also, install was really difficult! Hubby is a contractor (an excellent one at that, can pretty much build/install anything) & I recall him getting very frustrated during the install. Looks great, but doesn't work well for us.

November 24, 2014
We needed a replacement kitchen faucet ASAP due to a leak, but did not have time with work schedule to go out and shop for one, so being able to order this from amazon was super helpful. We received about 2 days after ordering and due to schedule did not install for 2 to 3 more days after that. Installation was not too difficult, but directions could be more detailed. The unfortunate problem that we had is that the finish on the handle has a small place where there is an air bubble under the finish. Totally disappointed that a) the finish is made using some kind of lacquer or painted coating, b) that quality control did not catch this before shipping out to customer, and c) we had to go ahead and install defective faucet since we really needed to replace older leaking faucet. Watch out every one! Inspect thoroughly upon receipt of faucet!

Squirts the wrong direction

The reach on this is good, but the opening is angled the wrong direction. I end up squirting soap on my counter top even though straight down would be right into the sink. I will be looking for something to replace.

October 5, 2015
Looks nice with our Kohler kitchen faucet but the threaded parts are plastic. I guess "brass construction" refers to the pump itself and not the machining. I had a Moen with plastic threads and innards and it was replaced four times for breaking. Hopefully Kohler quality is better.
Looks nice, but
May 29, 2014
I really like the look of the dispenser, but after a couple weeks it started sticking down. I've soaked it, cleaned it and tried different kinds of soaps. Nothing seems to make a difference.
Nice But Ugly Stainless Color
January 6, 2013
This Kohler-VS soap dispenser is great in that it is a nice tight fit, holds 16 ounces and can be filled from the top. Everything you would want in a dispener. However, I purchased the Kohler-VS (Vibrant Stainless) and it does not match my stainless faucet. It is not vibrant or shiny like I would have thought. It is a dull stainless. I should have sent it back but decided to try to learn to live with it. Not happening. I see me puchasing another later because it does not go well in my new kitchen. Probably should have tried the chrome.
Easy Install, Slow to Fill, & Not Much Comes Out!
March 12, 2010
This dispenser is easy to install, and it's nice that you can fill it from the top, but you've got to feed the soap in slowly or it backs up and creates a mess! The amount of soap that comes out is a bit less that I expected - and it doesn't come out the very end like you'd expect. The dispensing hole is actually about 3/16ths back from the end of the small "arm"... The packaging is that abominable plastic that's designed to deter thieves, so be prepared!

No magnetic docking system and water flow rate is too high.
June 13, 2017
I got tricked into think it has a magnetic docking system which my other Delta faucet has and I love it. Turns out it doesn't have the magnetic docking system and it solely rely on a counter weight, so everything time I turn on the faucet the faucet head would jumps a little bit. Also if the counterweight got hung up on one of the pipes, there is nothing else to hold the faucet head back in place. Also the flow of water is too fast and cause too much splashing. I am not sure if a laminar insert is even offered for this faucet. Overall I prefer my Delta faucet that I had before compare to this Kohler faucet.
CMon Kohler
May 31, 2017
In less than a year, it leaked between the 2 settings on the faucet. While on the main/regular setting, it drips out of the other rake type setting unless you hold the button down the whole time. Amazon/Kohler please help!! nowhere to contact for help.It also does not have a magnetic flux capacitor or whatever they said closes the hose back up - it's a counter-weight. Yep a weight that you need to position correctly on the bottom of the hose under your sink. A weight that comes loose all the time. A weight, not a magnet, or any other fancy gizmo. It does look nice though, 2 stars for that! Otherwise, for the money, this is not good quality, and I'm a little disappointed in Kohler.
Great! Until it's not... (UPDATE)
March 18, 2017
Like many other reviewers, I loved this faucet... until it sprouted a pinhole leak in the hose just above the connection to the spray head. Overnight, the pinhole leak turned into water steadily flowing onto our butcher block countertops.Update: after contacting Kohler customer support, they offered to provide a replacement hose to rectify the situation. When the turnaround time on the hose was going to be 15 days, they opted to provide us with a completely new faucet the next day. Customer service was prompt and responsive. Increasing my original 1 star review due to great experience with customer support.
and looked like it had been installed elsewhere before being removed
October 25, 2016
I'm not sure what the deal is with this product or seller. It looks as though it is an official Kohler seller, and Kohler box, and although it's listed as a brand new item, the product is damaged, and looked like it had been installed elsewhere before being removed, repackaged, and resold. There's sloppy welding at the fittings, is covered with fingerprints, and the bottom connection ring which is supposed to be shiny is all scratched. The worst part is, the magnetic holster for the pull-down head is so weak, that it doesn't support the weight of the nozzle. So instead of a snug, uniform connection along the gasket, there is a lopsided, wobbly hold. So, I order a replacement, which Amazon quickly sent out, but the replacement is in much worse shape than the original!! Definitely looks like it is a refurbished or reused product, the seals are broken, and the box looks like someone riverdanced all over it, and the magnetic hold, which is touted and advertised as a major feature of this unit, is in even worse shape than the first one. Not at all what I would expect from a Kohler product, especially one sold by Kohler directly.I am not satisfied with this purchase, but have no faith in returning it a second time in fear of the quality degrading with each new order..... hopefully someone will QC these before they go out.
Beautiful but defective!
December 2, 2015
Update: Faucet was still defective, but Kohler was very responsive on helping us to return and get a refund. This faucet is beautiful. We bought it originally on amazon to replace an old faucet original to our house. However, because of other issues with the sink and garbage disposal, we weren't able to install it until several months after purchase. I had a licensed, professional plumber come out to my house to install the sink and it looked lovely. However, after he left, we noticed the faucet was leaking. He came back and verified that the faucet itself was leaking and is defective. I obviously can't return the product to amazon because we are out of the return period and the "warranty" from kohler requires you to mail them (as in USPS mail them- no online option) which means you have to wait several days to several weeks to get the "cartridge" to fix a leaky faucet. As I don't have several weeks to wait for Kohler to make right on their warranty, I have to buy a new faucet. For anyone else purchasing this product, just be aware that it can be defective and if it is, it is difficult to get the warranty to cover it and get it fixed, so you would essentially need to buy 2 faucets.
Beware - Poor Documentation Leads to BIG Headaches
June 10, 2012
The Kohler K-560-VS Ballera is a beautiful and feature-filled faucet. The Kohler name preceeds itself and - once the DIYer figures out that the documentation is really lacking - this faucet is easy to install. My wife noticed a slight leak in our original faucet and, after reading multiple reviews, I decided to pick this one up. It arrived promptly with no problems, the packaging completely intact. I opened up the box and took a look at the instructions which seemed fairly straight-forward. This was my first time installing a faucet so I was quite unfamiliar with the different parts and how they worked together. I was reassured with only 1 sheet with 13 steps which **seemed** clear. This is where the problem comes in.The installation of the putty and plate were a snap. No problems there. Putting the faucet into the sink, and screwing it down was easy too - well designed! I attached the hoses and went to Step 9. (ALERT - THIS IS WHERE THE DIYer IS LEFT WANTING!)Step 9 of installation - Step 9 says "Slide the wight onto the sprayhead hose. Push the hose completely into the outlet fitting."The weight is a piece of cake too. The house into the outlet is the DIY-unfriendly step.First, there are 2 plastic tabs, 1 on each part. One is yellow, the other is white. The instructions in no way tell you that the yellow one is a protective covering but the WHITE one is essential to the connection.Second, there's a little diagram that indicates the hose needs to be completely inserted. Well, it doesn't insert easily at all. "Is this white thing in the way? Is it supposed to be there? Huh." - The WHITE thing is supposed to be there. Everything seemed fine. I turned on the water.A stready stream of water came out right where this connection is. I turned it off, re-adjusted. Water.I got under there (now I'm wet, full of dirt AND angry). I looked at the connection."Maybe it's not in all the way...it did go in very hard."So I push it in as far as I can...using all my strength. Turn it on. More water than before.I'll spare you the rest, but the short version is, went to Home Depot, bought another faucet. Did the same steps, but pushed with all my might. Turned it on. Lots of water.HERE IS THE SOLUTION WHICH IS NOT IN THE DOCUMENTATION.There are 2 black O-rings which sit inside the housing of this little connection. I think a #10 and a #8. You have to be very artful in inserting the male end...if you do it too hard (like I did twice), you'll damage the O-ring and it'll never work. Push firmly, but not too hard. That did the trick (and an online resource suggested lubing up the male end with dish soap...that was especially helpful). All there needs to be is a very simple little caution in the documentation regarding this problem. Experienced plumbers know this no doubt...DIYers do not.Next time you need to contain costs, Kohler, please consider how important documentation is. You have a wonderful product and your documentation is completely inferior which in turn detracts from your reputation.

Broken after less than a year of use

In less than year of use, this has broken. Very disappointing. Not sure if this is something I need to take up with Amazon or Kohler, but either way, this should last much longer.
BEWARE THE WEAK PLASTIC BOTTLE NECK-SCREW - A Major Design Flaw?
February 11, 2014
I have been very happy with just about everything in this product. The price is reasonable for a decent "mid-level" appliance. This one is not too cheap - in appearance and quality. But it is definitely not a "high-end" or "heavy-duty" product. I was prepared to give this dispenser an average, or even above-average, rating. BUT....in my opinion it has one MAJOR design and functionality issue that prevents me from rating it higher. BEWARE.....the plastic screw-neck on the bottle eventually gives out, allowing the bottle and all its contents (icky gooey slimy soap) to fall to the cabinet floor and spill all over (and under) everything. WHAT A MESS! Both the bottle screw-neck and the plastic screw-into dispenser tube.......even with lots of TLC handling and operating.......will ultimately fail. It's just a matter of time. HOWEVER, If you really like this dispenser, I have a suggestion. "Extra" or "replacement" bottles cost only about $2-$4 each (plus shipping of about $10 if you buy online). Keep one or two handy because YOU WILL NEED THEM. And of course you should not wait until they fail to replace them. At least every six months you should unscrew and carefully examine the bottle screw-neck for signs of wear or "splitting" where the neck meets the bottle top. If you don't mind putting up with all of this, this appliance works ok. If not, get one with a better. stronger design for attaching the bottle to the bottom of the pump mechanism.
Nice, but could be more durable
October 6, 2011
This is a beautiful soap dispenser that looks really good on any countertop, especially with the matching faucet. It is very heavy and appears to be sturdy. However, after only a few years of use, the spout broke right off. We tried jamming it back in the hole, but it did not stay. Kind of expensive for a soap dispenser that only lasts a few years. :(

Looks great, beware the faucet hose
September 21, 2017
Looks great, beware the faucet hose! We take great care of our home and we're gentle with our appliances... The faucet hose literally came apart after 14 months of use. Although you can get replacement parts I would highly recommend another faucet.
Leak. Would not recommend.

Leak in Hose. Completely unusable. What a disappointment. Kohler no longer.
Terrible and costing me more money!
March 5, 2017
In less than two weeks the nozzle and hose attachment is broken. Won't retreat back in place. Terrible manufacturing. A replacement is on the way, hopefully it's a fluke and the next one will last. Regardless it's frustrating that I have to pay the labor to have it replaced.
Poor quality and worse service
January 9, 2017
Poor quality product and worse customer service. Within the first 3 months of use the faucet started to leak from the handle. When I called Kohler I could not get through to customer service after weeks of trying. Once I finally emailed their general contact us address I got a note that they would send the part to fix the issue, but it wouldn't arrive for 14-16 days. Mind you the leak is getting worse.Fed up I went out and bought a new NON-KOHLER faucet to replace the leaking one.I don't recommend Kohler!
Pinhole leak became a gushing flood in a matter of weeks
July 3, 2016
Like several others who purchased this faucet, I had several months of use with it before it developed a pinhole leak in the hose about one inch above the sprayhead. An attempt to "stop" the leak using 3M black plastic repair tape worked for approximately 3 weeks, until the leak expanded from being pinhole sized to pretty much gushing out and spraying water all over our dinner guests and the plantation shutters covering our kitchen window. Needless to say, this has rendered our faucet nearly unusable. I recommend staying away from this product until Kohler fixes what is obviously a weak link in their supply chain.07/05/2016 Update: I ordered a replacement hose before receiving the note from Sarah at Kohler Customer Service below. I did not realize that I had inadvertently ordered the incorrect hose type. There is a standard version which I ordered, and a Docknetic version which was the correct hose for this faucet. This was pointed out to me by Laura of Kohler Customer Service. I worked with Laura at Kohler Customer Service to 1) receive a credit for the cost of my incorrect order and 2) received a correct replacement hose free of charge. Since my original order was too far along in their shipping process to stop, Laura said that I can donate the hose upon receipt to a Habitat for Humanity outlet for their use. Great idea! ...and fantastic follow-up by Laura and Sarah of Kohler Customer Service.
Poor durability
February 2, 2016
Love the look and spray setting for washing food down. The cord doesn't retract as well after one year of use, though.UPDATE: After a year and a half, a hole formed in the cord and water is leaking everywhere--down the spout (where the head disconnects from the neck) and under our sink. It ruined our kitchen cabinet and our sink is completely dysfunctional. It broke abruptly, so I all of a sudden have no sink and a cabinet to fix. What a hassle and very disappointing for such a well known brand. I guess I expected better from Kohler

Bad designed pumping mechanism
November 24, 2016
This pump only works if there is no dishwashing liquid inside, once the dishwashing liquid is inside, it is super hard to.pump.The pump does not go back up all the way, and it is very hard on hand to.push down. The product is built solid and looks good, too bad it doesn't function. It's a waste of money, stay away.
CHEAP

VERY POOR CONSTRUCTION AND KOHLER WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU. THE ARM IS NOT CONNECTED WELL.
Soap bottle breaks
February 4, 2016
Bought this in May and less then a year later in February when I was filling the bottle with dish soap the bottle drops into the sink base cabinet spilling soap all over my cabinet. The bottle literally fell and the threaded plastic piece that was supposed to keep the bottle connected to the dispenser was still connected to the top part of the dispenser. When I went to see if I could return it "this item is no longer available for return". So it is only supposed to last 9 months apparently.
Sent it back pump did not work well.
October 30, 2015
The pump did not work well it was hard to pump out the hand soap. It was easy to install. But what is the point of that if it does not work. I sent it back
Grade F for this pricey Kohler soap dispenser.
December 2, 2014
I put this one back in the box and gave it away with the old Delta faucet I was retiring, due to a styling change. I put our old Delta dispenser back in its place. It was a good enough match to the new Kohler faucet we purchased, so no harm except for the wasted $60+.What's wrong? The spout is too short. The spout was crooked and could not be straightened to align with the pump body. It leaks a little soap around the plunger body, beneath the counter top. It twists to the right each time I push down on the pump. It would not shoot a shot of soap to a pot in the middle of the sink, "weak stream". The pot or plate has to come to the dispenser every time. The only good thing was the double sized reservoir. Too bad that reservoir wouldn't fit the old Delta soap pump. Sigh.
Not a soap dispenser, this is a refugee from the garbage dump!
January 3, 2012
I have owned two of these little traitors. When you least expect it the bottle breaks at the neck and dumps a pile of soap under your sink. You may expect about a year out of this thing before it dies a messy death. I usually like Kohler, but don't waste your time or money on this engineering debacle.
