As advertised
April 28, 2017
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. I use these for bag work as part of a cardio routine. I was searching for gloves with extra padding because I have an old wrist injury. These were the only affordable set over 20 oz. Stitching is all intact, padding is well distributed, wrist wrap is good. Won't last forever but if I get a year I'll be happy for what they cost me. I'm 6'1 200 and the 22oz glove fits me well.

Got for 10 year old kid, much comfier than the cheapo ones we had before, still affordable. We're not pro boxers, just using for fun/leisure, and works for us. Fits for me too.
These have been a great pair for gloves
October 29, 2016
These have been a great pair for gloves, and they fit as advertised. I feel like I can really hit the bag and that the cushioning doesn't break down at all. I have been using these for months now on a regular basis, and they feel like they did the first day I bought them.
Great Value
September 20, 2016
A great value. I'm just training, and these are comfortable, fit well, and are working out great. My instructor says that they are perfect for the purpose.
Good training gloves for the price.
March 9, 2016
I use these for muay thai bag and mitt workouts three times a week. These are very good training gloves for the martial artist on a budget. I hit pretty hard and so far they are holding up nicely. They are also good for solo training, as you can easily take them on and off by yourself. If you need a good day to day knockaround glove and don't have the budget for the bigger brands, pick up a pair.
Good cheap gloves for fitness club use
February 29, 2016
These are cheap gloves, make no mistake. But as cheap solutions to a club accessed heavy bag they are just the thing. For general bag exercise and fitness training these gloves (I bought three pair) are to perfect solution.

Best gloves around for the price these blow all others out the water
June 6, 2017
For the price these are the best gloves that money can buy. The Shock absorption is good. The gloves fit with gel fast wraps on with wrapping also. These gloves are high quality great construction and i can hit very hard with these and still have incredible protection. These gloves even crush my UFC gloves that were 80 dollars. Great feel not too tight on the hands. Alot of other gloves get good reviews by people with baby hands and I have seen high rated gloves on here that were horrible. This is going to be a brand i will stick with for some time. There are gloves out there that are better but for a mid range priced glove this is the best out there, if were any better the company would be taking a loss on money. These guys know what they are doing. I have large hands because 6'0 196lbs and i can hit full force with these gloves no problem. I used the gloves today when they arrived on my porch and im blown away. Buy these gloves now, its worth ever cent
Perfect.
June 4, 2017
I love them, super high quality they look great and they feel great too,I've been using them for a few weeks now (with handwraps of-course) and to this day my hands look and feel fine, also i've been having sessions where I use all my punching power on the heavy bag and still they protected my hands from any unwanted pain.one thing I was afraid of is if the gloves would get scratches or lose their color, but no, they remained the same.they do live up to their price.
Go for it!
April 27, 2017
Started MMA 2 months ago. The gloves took about three weeks to completely break in, with three lessons a week plus hard bag hitting. Once they have broken in they were so comfortable. I try to clean it after every day I train, it hasn't smelled thus far. The breathability also helps as drying off the gloves. Gloves came in perfect conditions in original packaging. Great item!
These are pretty solid and have good ventilation
January 5, 2017
My first time buying boxing gloves. Did a little research into what size I should get and as a 5'10" 165lb male I decided to go with 14oz. I'd probably go with 16oz now that I see them but that's my error. These are pretty solid and have good ventilation.
They may change the way you work the bag... In a good way!
July 15, 2016
I've recently added a heavy bag routine to my workout and I was using the Everlast gloves that were included with my bag. Let me say this, there's a reason those gloves come "free" with the bag, it's because they absolutely suck. I didn't realize this until I picked up a pair of these beauties. I'll be honest, I picked these up because they were cheaper than a comparable pair of Everlast and WAY cheaper than the Title brand that my friends recommended, no disrespect to the pricier gloves, but I just didn't need them for 2-3 bag sessions a week... The Venum gloves have ample wrist support and fantastic shock absorption. I picked up my 14-ounce pair for around $48 bucks and I'll be honest I was pretty leery given how my hand felt after a 45 minute session with the bag in my old gloves from an Everlast brand that I "knew", these gloves have honestly changed how I work the bag. I can now hit the bag harder without fear of my wrist support not being there. The 14-ounce gloves fit me like a... well... glove. I'm 5'10" and about 165 lbs and I'd say my hands are on the larger side of "medium"... or the smaller side of "large" figures if you're a half empty or half full kind of person I guess.Just a few maintenance tips that I've picked up over the past few months of use:1. When you finish spray down the inside with a bit of Lysol (or knock-off) disinfectant2. Next stuff in a bit of newspaper to allow airflow to move through the gloves3. Don't stuff them into a nasty gym bag, let them air out in your garage or basement4. If you really want them to smell fresh you can go out and pick up a cheap bag of hamster cedar bedding, stuff two clean gym socks with the bedding, tie them off and then insert like the newspaper up there in step 2. That's a poor man's/woman's glove deodorizer right there (and what I use...)Cheers!
Cool gloves, Affordable and high quality
September 8, 2015
These gloves are super flashy and really make you look like a champ!! I loved the gold color. Not too bright or flashy like I was fearing. It has just the right amount of gold in it without looking silly. The breathability can be an issue for some people but I sweat profusely anyway even with breathable gloves. The strap on is easy to adjust and set. Makes the whole process of putting on gloves quick and easy. The padding is not the best on these but it is a great beginner to intermediate glove for a reasonable price. I've used these gloves for a month now and have had no issues with them!!

September 12, 2016
While these gloves fit a little loosely on me they are just what I needed for a good heavy bag workout. I can punch the bag as hard as I like and my hands are perfectly cushioned.
awesome gloves
July 9, 2015
just finished first session on punching bag and sparred with a person and i like the gloves. they are not the best by any means but for 22 dollars they are worth the money. i have very large hands and also used hand wraps and i did notice after the first session the inner lining of the gloves are starting to tear, but i think with hand wraps even if the inner lining does come completely off it shouldn't be too uncomfortable and if you have normal sized hands im sure you wont have that problem and if you do WHO CARES their 20 dollars. also i want to note that the gloves are rather hard so they are not the best for sparring, but the person i sparred with didn't mind. the only reason i gave them a 4 star not 5 is because i purchased them for sparring and they are not good sparring gloves. they will work until i have the money to purchase better way more expensive sparring gloves, but even after i do i will still use these as bag gloves until they brake. they hit the punching bag extremely well so if you want them for punching bag gloves i highly recommend them. i don't know how long they will last but i think i already got my monies worth out of them. very satisfied GREAT BUY!
Solid gloves, great wrist support

Good support on the wrist. I use it in sparring without wrist wraps, and it feels very solid. Better quality than other gloves in this price range.

Top of the line for beginners
September 14, 2017
Have been training in martial arts for a little over ten years now so my review will be based off of what i already know. These gloves are not leather, which means they won't need as much care as real leather, water (sweat) won't damage them, don't stink (as quickly), aren't as high quality (leather is tough!) as "the real deal". Would not recommend if looking for a single pair for your whole career, HOWEVER, for someone who doesn't train every day/ most days these are perfect for casual boxing. Threw these bad boys on and punched the heavy bag for over 2 hours and the results are impressive. Not a single scratch was made to the glove. Keep in mind, every glove has a breaking point, but for the price on these venum challengers 2.0 I wasn't expecting them to pack a punch (pun intended). If i were to recommend these, my target audience would have to be beginners- intermediate fighters and/or casual gym goers.

Gloves are great! I had a pair & used them for over a year! It is time for a new pair! I accidentally ordered a size way to big for me & cannot get in contact with the seller to exchange for a smaller size! In order to return the gloves I have to lose $10.00 of what I paid which makes no sense to me at all....which of course loosing money on an order doesn't make anyone happy.
Best For Training Alone Or With Others
May 17, 2017
Upon joining a gymnasium I was actually given a pair of gloves free because of the membership, but something soon nagged at me. Whenever I practiced my punching in terms of boxing I felt like I wasn't doing the best that I could. It was just that, a feeling. Soon I looked into it, and it is true...the gloves can seriously affect the experience of the training or workout in the long term. These gloves are good for people who are intermediate skill, or those who are more serious about their training or even have a bit more money to spend in terms of the gear they use. You'll notice that the wrap around the wrist goes around completely, some cheaper gloves only go halfway. Getting that extra leverage with the wrists means you have the support for your strikes and you can hit harder without fear of hurting yourself. For those who want to get the most out of their experience, it is best to do a bit of research before buying gloves if you really decide to go down that path. The colour and style is also better than the stale black, if you're going to train or box..do it with some new age gloves. Depending on the size of your hands, they fit well with hand-wraps. You don't want it to be too tight, otherwise it will hurt and you won't train..just hurt yourself. The quality of the gloves will give you decent wear and tear without fear of buying another pair too soon. The sample pictures don't do the gloves justice, they look a bit better than you think and when you're using them you will get noticed.
Good glove for the price
August 8, 2015
Review updates at bottomPro:Durable buildGood wrist protectionSnug fit, they feel good when you put them onPriceThey make a really satisfying "pop"Con:Breathability (disinfect after workout)No padding on palm. Be careful with knees if you're a kickboxer, or buy the Elite series.UPDATE: As others have stated, the padding on these gloves is quite dense and sparring partners may not appreciate it. This can also cause some hand problems if you have a heavy strike. Not sure if this is because of the padding firmness or if they've worn out quickly. Definitely trying the Elite series next. Still recommend these gloves for beginners.

Significant wear and tear. Useless after 8 months.

I used these gloves for 8 months for my thaibox training. Overall good I liked them at the beginning. After a few months I started to noticed the wear and tear. The inside became deformed and the seams started to tear. After 8 months the seam for the strap on my right glove completely tore open. I cannot use them anymore. They are low quality. If you are okay with buying a new pair after 8 months then this is a glove for you.

The cloth inside the gloves started to rip and the padding started to fall out after a month of regular use. My previous gloves from this brand lasted a year so it's 50/50 for me right now. The price is fair so I will likely buy another pair to see if lasts.

Could have been better
January 12, 2017
Had a good feel, but not suitable for medium to heavy sparring. And the velcro star connected to the glove is weak. I literally pulled it with the thumb of the glove, and it ripped the entire strap out of the leather. So the finishing is poor. But with care, its not bad.

Lasted less than two months
May 21, 2017
Gloves did not last long. didn't fit my medium/large sized hands very well either. Quite disappointed with venum as I thought they were a decent brand I've had these gloves for less than two months and the right one split the foam between my knuckles and the knuckles in the middle of my finger. Doesn't make it hard of my hands but punches don't land as well now.
Gloves seem like they're made quality and have great padding
December 21, 2016
Gloves seem like they're made quality and have great padding. I personally, do not like them do to the size of the glove. My previous 16 oz., Torque, gloves fit perfectly. These gloves are more bulky along the wrist and creep up the forearm quite a bit. I'm 5'7 with a 30" reach, if that gives you a comparison. I will still use them as back up gloves.
Good just not great
July 16, 2016
Had these for 6-8 months I literally started boxing with them and I go 3 days s week and sometimes more and the foam inside is starting to come out they are really good beginner gloves but i would suggest boxing first using the gyms gloves first and seeing if you like boxing and 3 months in buy your own pair, there is no wear and tear outside its all inside

May 25, 2016
Not a great fit. I'm a woman with average sized hands and I can put my hands all the way in because the thumb part of it is too far away. Not sure how else to describe this. The quality looks ok for a 40 dollar glove. The 16 oz one has a nice weight to it.
Consider useage
December 4, 2015
I love Venum products, great padding and wrist support. But these gloves started to peel in multiple areas after 5-6 months of use. Used for sparing and pad work twice a week. The seller completely refunded me. I bought a better quality of Venum gloves. These are good for a beginner or light useage. Otherwise spend a little more money on a glove that is a step above these

I would not recommend these gloves to other people.I bought these gloves in August this year, and they are falling apart by October. The foam is falling out in the left glove and the stitching is coming out on the right. i purchased these gloves at 24 oz to make my hands quicker when I throw punches, and they have done that. However, the quality is simply not up to standard. This product has not given the brand a good name at all.

I purchased the 24oz. Gloves felt decent when I received them but some seams started seperating within a few uses of them. Since late January 2016, more seam seperation has occured. I use them but they are slowly falling apart. Tried contacting seller but for some reason, there is an error with contacting them. Would buy these if they lasted as long as other brans have lasted me.

I first bought these for the price and reviews on them but once i got them i regretted it right away tge material was fake leather but im sure it saif that but the padding did not cover my hands completely with tge 16 oz gloves specificaly my finger tips were unpadded and worst of all they charged me 7 dollars to return them so with that being said i would never recomend venum gloves to anyone i know at the gym.

Alright gloves but after 3 months the velcro on the right glove stopped working. It took almost 2 weeks for them to get back to me about this and they said they cannot exchange the defective one. I've had REV gear gloves that where much cheaper than these that lasted me 2 years and my triumph tie up ones are still going strong after 3. Buy with caution as they do not have a very good warranty. Better yet there's plenty of other brands that are just as good or better and offer better warranty for a product that takes a lot of punishment.*Edit, just to be clear. I train Muay Thai with 3 years experience

May 10, 2015
Wow, useless gloves. They don't hold up at all. You get what you pay for, spend an extra 20 bucks and get the Everlast gloves. They are amazing and have held up for 3 years thus far. I've used these Proforce for 3 months and they completely tore and the filling went everywhere today. No warranty so good luck getting anything from them. Very sad product. BUYER BEWARE!
Not pleased with these gloves. Torn already!
April 16, 2015
I do not ever write reviews. This is my first. I am not upset with the service of the company and these gloves arrived very quickly. I do wish I would have figured out I was unhappy with the product before the 30 day return policy ended though. I read mostly good reviews so I thought it was a safe buy but I was wrong. I bought these gloves for my 6 year old son for christmas to use for his sparring practice at his mma dojo. He used them (lightly) for about half an hour once a week for about 3 months (a total of about 6 hours) I was initially pleased with the look (other then noticing the faux leather fabric edging was just left unevenly cut with no piping or finished look to it) and the feel of the gloves but they have now torn where they stitched on the velcro. Half of the Velcro strip is now hanging off along with the faux leather. I would think they could use a stronger thicker leather like fabric. It is super thin and cheap feeling. With as little and lightly as these gloves were used I can't imagine they will hold out for any amount of time for a person who really intends to box with them... Don't waste you time and money. Not a happy mama.

These things suck and customer service is even worse.

These are junk bought them for my boyfriend who trains muah Thai and mma. He trains 6 days a week. These barely lasted a month. The Velcro stopped sticking so the wrips strap just flops around which are now not even useable. I then spent $89 on a pair of Hayabusa gloves which are amazing they aren't cheap and don't make his hands smell. Infact with these he doesn't even have to wear hand wraps. Wish I would have spent the extra $40 and got the Hayabusa gloves in the first place. Hope this helps
