As advertised
April 28, 2017
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase. I use these for bag work as part of a cardio routine. I was searching for gloves with extra padding because I have an old wrist injury. These were the only affordable set over 20 oz. Stitching is all intact, padding is well distributed, wrist wrap is good. Won't last forever but if I get a year I'll be happy for what they cost me. I'm 6'1 200 and the 22oz glove fits me well.

Got for 10 year old kid, much comfier than the cheapo ones we had before, still affordable. We're not pro boxers, just using for fun/leisure, and works for us. Fits for me too.
These have been a great pair for gloves
October 29, 2016
These have been a great pair for gloves, and they fit as advertised. I feel like I can really hit the bag and that the cushioning doesn't break down at all. I have been using these for months now on a regular basis, and they feel like they did the first day I bought them.
Great Value
September 20, 2016
A great value. I'm just training, and these are comfortable, fit well, and are working out great. My instructor says that they are perfect for the purpose.
Good training gloves for the price.
March 9, 2016
I use these for muay thai bag and mitt workouts three times a week. These are very good training gloves for the martial artist on a budget. I hit pretty hard and so far they are holding up nicely. They are also good for solo training, as you can easily take them on and off by yourself. If you need a good day to day knockaround glove and don't have the budget for the bigger brands, pick up a pair.
Good cheap gloves for fitness club use
February 29, 2016
These are cheap gloves, make no mistake. But as cheap solutions to a club accessed heavy bag they are just the thing. For general bag exercise and fitness training these gloves (I bought three pair) are to perfect solution.

Needed some actual hand wraps. I was using ace wraps for the longest time. These are very good but I think I bought a size too small. I think I should be able to go around my hand a few more times. Otherwise, they work well paired with my Neoprene Heavy Bag Gloves.
Good deal!

Great price for all three. I was able to keep one for myself, give one to my husband but it was too big for my 11 year old lil hands.

I bought my husband punching bag/ speed bag combo for Christmas that he finally set up (took long enough lol) so I finally ordered him the extra gear he needs for it. These were as described, shipping was fast and the price is great!
I am 140 lbs, female athlete and my hands arent that big, these work well
July 26, 2016
If you understand what these are and that they should be worn under gloves to support your joints (and not as a substitute for gloves, lol), then you should be happy with this product. they ARE a shorter length, as advertised. I am 140 lbs, female athlete and my hands arent that big, so I went with the shorter length. they cover enough to do the standard wrap job, but if you want more wrist support you should really just go with the full length ones. I thought those would be way too long for me but if I could go back I would just get them. quality of product is good, no complaints yet!

... me they are just what I needed for a good heavy bag workout
September 12, 2016
While these gloves fit a little loosely on me they are just what I needed for a good heavy bag workout. I can punch the bag as hard as I like and my hands are perfectly cushioned.
awesome gloves
July 9, 2015
just finished first session on punching bag and sparred with a person and i like the gloves. they are not the best by any means but for 22 dollars they are worth the money. i have very large hands and also used hand wraps and i did notice after the first session the inner lining of the gloves are starting to tear, but i think with hand wraps even if the inner lining does come completely off it shouldn't be too uncomfortable and if you have normal sized hands im sure you wont have that problem and if you do WHO CARES their 20 dollars. also i want to note that the gloves are rather hard so they are not the best for sparring, but the person i sparred with didn't mind. the only reason i gave them a 4 star not 5 is because i purchased them for sparring and they are not good sparring gloves. they will work until i have the money to purchase better way more expensive sparring gloves, but even after i do i will still use these as bag gloves until they brake. they hit the punching bag extremely well so if you want them for punching bag gloves i highly recommend them. i don't know how long they will last but i think i already got my monies worth out of them. very satisfied GREAT BUY!
Solid gloves, great wrist support

Good support on the wrist. I use it in sparring without wrist wraps, and it feels very solid. Better quality than other gloves in this price range.

Shorter than I'm used to

They do the job, are a bit thin and shorter than I'm used to using. You do get 2 wraps per color you see here (6 wraps in total)
Great wraps.
July 7, 2017
Don't want to break my wrists, so needed for my heavy bag. Great wraps.
good product for the price
November 7, 2016
I'm a woman and use these wraps regularly for the heavy bag. Yes, they are shorter and don't have elastic, but for my needs and the size of my hands, they work great. the price is very good for a 3-pack.
Good for the price, questionable on durability
July 13, 2016
When it comes to wraps, there is not much to say except that you'd hope that they are good quality. As far as these are concerned, they meet that criteria and more. With a name like Everlast, there is no doubt to their quality. I would have given this item five stars; however, all boxing enthusiasts and professionals alike should know that the quality of a wrap varies with the price. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for," and certainly, these are not the BEST wraps out there.
Nice hand wraps for my 7-year-old daughter
December 17, 2014
These have been good, solid hand wraps for my 7-year-old daughter who is learning how to box. I only have two minor complaints (both of which were easily solved):
1) There is no indicator on the hand wraps to tell my daughter which side should be face-down when wrapping her hands. I improvised by marking a black (or silver) "X" with a permanent marker on the side that should be face-down, right below the thumb loop.
2) The velcro fasteners were a bit long for my daughter's tiny wrists, so I just cut off the extra velcro that was hanging after she wrapped her hands.
Overall, my daughter & I are happy with these hand wraps & recommend them to other kids looking to protect their hands while boxing.

Significant wear and tear. Useless after 8 months.
September 10, 2017
I used these gloves for 8 months for my thaibox training. Overall good I liked them at the beginning. After a few months I started to noticed the wear and tear. The inside became deformed and the seams started to tear. After 8 months the seam for the strap on my right glove completely tore open. I cannot use them anymore. They are low quality. If you are okay with buying a new pair after 8 months then this is a glove for you.

The cloth inside the gloves started to rip and the padding started to fall out after a month of regular use. My previous gloves from this brand lasted a year so it's 50/50 for me right now. The price is fair so I will likely buy another pair to see if lasts.

Could have been better
January 12, 2017
Had a good feel, but not suitable for medium to heavy sparring. And the velcro star connected to the glove is weak. I literally pulled it with the thumb of the glove, and it ripped the entire strap out of the leather. So the finishing is poor. But with care, its not bad.

Just like the first set I bought
December 9, 2016
Just like the first set I bought, the stitching that attaches the velcro to these wraps is very shoddy. Expect to either re-sew them on or use without as they come off very easily. Other than that they are ok. It is just disappointing that every piece of gear I have purchased from Everlast has had issues. Heavy bag had hard spots, a terrible settling issue and the support straps ripped off the bag. MMA gloves had stitching coming apart after a few months of use. Everlast used to be a brand synonymous with quality but seems to no longer be the case.
They're still a good pair of wraps, just had a bad draw, maybe?
April 5, 2016
They're a decent enough 3-pack of wraps; durability is in question though... I had bought and owned the same 3-pack from Dick's Sporting Goods in like 2010 or 2011 and just replaced them early this year. Granted, I hadn't used them nearly as often as I do now, but I still hadn't gotten around to using them all that much before the velcro on the red wraps almost completely tore off as I was removing them. I wouldn't say I was aggressive with them or negligent with their care; I always re-wrap them in the circle they came in when I'm through and I always stow them neatly in my gym tote.

Not sure if I just had a bad draw, because I would still recommend them to anyone who needed wraps, just a little bummed one pair's longevity was shot early.
Not the best product, but worth a try when exploring a new sport.
February 25, 2015
I agree with many other reviewers that these Hand Wraps are not very long, but if all you want is a little extra knuckle padding or wrist support inside your boxing glove, then I would recommend this Everlast 4455-3 3-Pk.

Pro:
-I can get wrapped and hitting the bag before anyone else even gets their gloves on.
-I can add extra support where it's needed; wrist support or knuckle padding.
-They seem to absorb a lot of the sweat that would normally be saturating my gloves.

Cons:
-Only after a few 2 hour sessions the material seems to be falling apart. Specifically the Velcro stitching.
-The Velcro also snags on the wraps and corrupts the fabric by harshly pulling it apart.
-As mentioned, these are great for the added support, but they are too short to properly wrap both my knuckles and wrist.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is exploring the sport that uses boxing gloves. You'll want to invest is something better later, but this is a great starter pack.
Too short, get longer ones if you are a beginner
February 9, 2015
First, let me tell you I'm a beginner in boxing. I have 4 weeks learning to punch.

I like the quality of these wraps and the fact they are not elastic is actually good for me. However, they are WAY TOO SHORT(108 inches). They cover me but I feel pain in my finger when I punch. My boxing trainer told me it is because I'm not use to hit and my knuckles need to get used to, so I need more protection. which these wraps cannot provide. After two days I got two swollen fingers, which I never had before.

These are NOT BAD WRAPS. the quality is good, it's just they are short. I was under the impression old wraps had a standard lenght. I was wrong.

Before this I had Everlast Flexcool Handwraps (180 inches) and those were too elastic, they got my fingers purple after boxing (i'm just learning). I lost them so I bought these. I will keep them and try them again in 6 months.

Would be great for a school play as a prop

I would not recommend these gloves to other people.I bought these gloves in August this year, and they are falling apart by October. The foam is falling out in the left glove and the stitching is coming out on the right. i purchased these gloves at 24 oz to make my hands quicker when I throw punches, and they have done that. However, the quality is simply not up to standard. This product has not given the brand a good name at all.

I purchased the 24oz. Gloves felt decent when I received them but some seams started seperating within a few uses of them. Since late January 2016, more seam seperation has occured. I use them but they are slowly falling apart. Tried contacting seller but for some reason, there is an error with contacting them. Would buy these if they lasted as long as other brans have lasted me.

Only 108" short!
April 15, 2017
(Beginner) These wraps are only 108" long, which I don't see clearly anywhere in the product description. I see a dozen different ways to wrap hands for boxing, and so far these wraps come up short for about six that I've tried. Make sure you buy the right length for the style wrap you use!
Not a good choice for a "man sized" hand.
August 28, 2016
I purchased these a few month back. I found that the wraps would not go around my hands enough time to really secure my wrists and hands. These are 108". I saw some reviews for another brand that was 180" Mexican style wraps that were really good. So, I ordered those. The length of the 180" were exactly what I needed. Plus, the material for the Mexican style was much better quality. These Everlast may be okay for someone with very small hands and minimal use. However, they are not a good choice for a "man sized" hand that wants to use them regularly.
Not satisfied!
March 28, 2016
Figured this would be a good product based on the Everlast name, I was wrong. I used the black wraps as soon as I got these in, after one 45 minute kickboxing workout the thumb loop completely ripped off. I decided to let that go as a fluke. Well today, after probably 6 or 7 workouts, the white wraps also had the loop rip off. I know i'm not overly hard on these, as I have a pair of wraps that are well over 6 months old and still going strong. Very disappointed.

December 21, 2014
These are a low priced for a reason. The velcro sticks to the wrap in the washing machine and dryer (I keep them in a mesh washing bag so they don't stick to my clothes), and when you pull the velcro off the wrap, it tears the fabric of the wrap. So the wraps have tears and rips all over them. These are OK for me (torn or not) because I only take a couple kickboxing classes a month, with these wraps on my hands, under boxing gloves, with a heavy bag. But if you are serious about boxing or kickboxing, and will take many classes a week, go the next level up!
Not Great Quality. Not Full Length Wraps. Beware!
September 21, 2012
BEWARE!! NOT FULL LENGTH HAND WRAPS!!!!!!!! These are 108 inches, not 180. You cannot fully wrap your hands with them unless you are a junior or have very small hands. They work fine if you modify the wrap, but will not offer the same measure of protection as a full 180 inch wrap. I find it perturbing that it says nowhere on the main description about the length. Very easy to look over, I would think.
There are three PAIRS, which is great. When it said 3 Pack Hand Wraps, I assumed there were simply three wraps, one for each hand and an extra.
They work well for me. I have not washed them yet, but I assume they are going to fray in the washing machine. That's why there are 3 pairs.
They do NOT hold up if you try to wrap very tightly. The velcro ripped right out of the seams the other day when I tried to wrap my knuckles for muy thai.
The price was a good deal and incredibly fast shipping from the seller. It shipped out one day and arrived for pickup the very next afternoon. Price is great, especially as these go for twice the price at a store like Dick's Sporting Goods.

useless gloves. They don't hold up at all
May 10, 2015
Wow, useless gloves. They don't hold up at all. You get what you pay for, spend an extra 20 bucks and get the Everlast gloves. They are amazing and have held up for 3 years thus far. I've used these Proforce for 3 months and they completely tore and the filling went everywhere today. No warranty so good luck getting anything from them. Very sad product. BUYER BEWARE!
Not pleased with these gloves. Torn already!
April 16, 2015
I do not ever write reviews. This is my first. I am not upset with the service of the company and these gloves arrived very quickly. I do wish I would have figured out I was unhappy with the product before the 30 day return policy ended though. I read mostly good reviews so I thought it was a safe buy but I was wrong. I bought these gloves for my 6 year old son for christmas to use for his sparring practice at his mma dojo. He used them (lightly) for about half an hour once a week for about 3 months (a total of about 6 hours) I was initially pleased with the look (other then noticing the faux leather fabric edging was just left unevenly cut with no piping or finished look to it) and the feel of the gloves but they have now torn where they stitched on the velcro. Half of the Velcro strip is now hanging off along with the faux leather. I would think they could use a stronger thicker leather like fabric. It is super thin and cheap feeling. With as little and lightly as these gloves were used I can't imagine they will hold out for any amount of time for a person who really intends to box with them... Don't waste you time and money. Not a happy mama.

Poor Quality/ Uncomfortable Wraps
August 20, 2017
We bought these to have extra wraps on hand but they don't hold up well when my hands are wrapped inside the boxing gloves. They don't stay tightly bound and loosen up in all the wrong places causing rubbing against my knuckles in the gloves. Also need to be careful washing them in a laundry bag because the Velcro if it's exposed will tear them up. Update: They have completely started to fall apart after 2nd wash inside the laundry bag. I even connected the Velcro but it's so long it still gets exposed.
You're paying for one time use
July 27, 2017
Very cheap quality. Fabric has already ripped apart, only got one use out of them. Fell apart in the hand wash cycle.
I had no problems with length like other reviewers- my issues was the cheap fabric. You're paying for one time use of each pair.
Do not buy
July 26, 2017
Flimsy and too thin for support. Coming apart during first use. Even the velcro tears rhe fabric. More like crepe paper than a decent wrap.
Poor quality, basically unusable - cannot recommend at all
September 18, 2016
I bought these thinking I was getting at least a good product from a reputable brand - that is not what I got.

On the first use I noticed the fabric was incredibly thin and they seemed shorter than my previous wraps. I just measured them to be 93 inches from the loop base (which is sewn on and rather awkward) to the start of the velcro. So they are shorter than listed.

I decided to give them another chance for a second class. The velcro, which had lifted a bit during the first use, was now coming completely off (something my other wraps took nearly 20 classes to do).

In short, these come up short (literally), they are poor quality fabric and construction and I should just send them back as they are really unusable.
Poor sewing job
June 24, 2016
Not worth the money. The velcro is strong but is poorly sewn to the wrap. I ripped the velcro from one pair the first time I tried to take off the wraps after one training session. After inspecting another pair, it's obvious that it was not an isolated mistake. Poor sewing job. On the wraps, the inside and out side is not marked close to the loop as on many other brands, so I end up wasting time during the wrap job.

After one session, I ordered higher quality wraps from another manufacturer.
