Let me preface this by saying: I am a skeptic. Especially of "natural" remedies. I have been suffering with chin and jawline breakouts for the past year or so. Believe me when I say, I have tried EVERYTHING!! From natural scrubs to coconut oil to glycolic pads to hyaluronic serum to spot acne treatment like sulfur and charcoal to prescription EpiDuo Forte acne creme. The EpiDuo Forte cleared it up pretty well but left my skin SO dry (even using once or twice a week only!) that my face was SO sensitive and felt chemically burned, that it was painful to even lay my face on a pillow!! Needless to say, I stopped using it. I started using lavender oil to clear up my existing/emerging acne which was incredible, but then I wanted to tackle the fact that I had a LOT of acne scars and discoloration. I am not opposed to trying new products, but approached it with low expectations and no enthusiasm, expecting it to be another product I simply "crossed off my list." Holy. Mackerel. In DAYS my blemishes probably diminished by about 80% and keep getting better and better. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin lately and I feel confident enough to even go without foundation. My ritual is to put the lavender oil on the "problem areas", and then my undereyes and remainder of my face gets rosehip oil. Oh also....this stuff works WONDERS for dark undereyes and bags!!! I'm a convert!!

I use this on my face every night before bed for it's anti aging properties. It does not break me out and seems to be very healing. This brand is organic and cold processed. This is my 2nd bottle, will defiantly continue to purchase.

I love this product. I had a stint with cystic acne that left my face torn up. I was told my scars would never heal. I'm so happy I stumbled across this!! My scars are completely unnoticeable after four months of use. I love the way it makes my skin feel and the price can't be beat. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. My face usually feels tight after a shower, I put two to three drops on my face and it feels so revitalized. I don't need any other products - I only use rosehip seed oil.I keep my rosehip seed oil in the fridge to keep it cold. One bottle usually lasts me a year with everyday use.

Rosehip oil doesn't smell amazing but works like a charm on my sensitive skin! The bottle is the perfect travel size and I carry it with me in my bag for any dry skin moments. I try to only use natural skin care products (coconut oil, dr.bronners soaps) and rosehip oil is one of the best! A little goes a long way and this bottle lasts me a month or two.

I love this stuff! Even though the bottle is small (1oz), a little goes a long way and it lasts a really long time! I've never had much of an acne problem, but last summer I randomly started getting horrible acne along my jaw line that would not relent. I couldn't get rid of it and the marks it left were hard to cover up with makeup. It seemed like I was just accumulating ugly marks along my jaw and on my cheeks. I was really discouraged. But I started using this Rosehip oil every night about a month ago and can finally say my dark marks are disappearing! I've used so many high-end items from Sephora and even tried Paula's Choice out of desperation, but neither of those sources provided any benefit to my acne or marks. I've also used Argan and Jojoba oils for years, but still had regular acne under their use. With this oil, I have virtually no acne. It's amazing. It's easy to spread all over my face with just a few drops, it absorbs well, and my skin has a nice glow when I wake up. I haven't experienced any dry skin or flakiness while using this either. I have sensitive skin and it's been a struggle finding products that work well on me. I am very thankful to have found this product!

To be honest i actually completely forgot all about this product! It took over a month to get i. Idk if it was out of stock or what but im not really trippn on it because i did end up getting it and it was packaged really well and i do like this product and this brand ive bought other stuff from them with no complaints with any of them. The color is an amber color and it had a faint smell that made me think of flaxseed oil idky lol. But rose hip seed oil is supposed to have faint unpleasant type smell. I placed a drop of it on the back of my hand and rubbed it in. I noticed the smell disappeared when the oil easily and quickly absorbed into my skin withn seconds. My skin felt so freakn soft and smooth. Im 21 and i have normal skin type not oily or dry and my skin was already soft and smooth and i usually get compliments on my skin but i wanted to enhance my skin. Ive used this everyday since i got it which was acouple days ago. I wash my face, neck and chest with warm to hot water mixed with some apple cider vinegar and sometimes i do clay masks after. I dont HAVE to use a moisturizer after im done with my face but i will. Ive tried shea butter, grapeseed oil, olive oil, mango butter, coconut oil and more but i like this the best so far. I put up to 4-6 drops of it on a finger tip and rub in my face, neck and chest and it doesnt leave me looking oily i glow and have that extra softness i desire. I also put 20 drops in my hair oil i made and idk if it made a dif since my oils by themselves hydrate my hair without making my hair really oily and leave it shiny and very soft. Im going to try with just this oil on my hair and scalp alone to see what it does.

I read about rosehip oil while trying to find natural remedies for sun spots. I really enjoy this oil. You only need a little bit, it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feel. It hasn't reduced my dark spots, but the little expression lines I was starting to get on my forehead have smoothed out and this gives such a beautiful glow to my skin (the glow reminds me of when I was a teenager, I'm turning 40 this year). Despite saying it is unscented but I do find there is a smell that reminds me of fish oil, but it dissipates quickly and doesn't linger. I store this in the fridge; not sure if that helps "keep" it, but I read that it should be stored this way. It has not changed the texture of the oil at all. Lastly, I have skin that freaks out at the sign of anything new, but my skin handled this well with no flare ups.

Beautiful Amber color compared to other brands I've tried, which means it is full of nutrients for your skin and isn't watered down. This is certified organic so I feel confident using it on my face and everywhere else on my body. I think this smells like chocolate but my friend thinks it smells like tea, so the smell is good and not fishy (which means the oil is going bad or is already bad) :)I've tried it on my under eye area because I have fine lines there, and after a night I've noticed some noticeable improvements that other brands of rosehip oils on Amazon couldn't do.I hope they would sell a larger bottle like 2/4oz one day! :)

I tried three brands and this was the only real one. Real rosehip seed oil should be a dark orange/amber and have a slight nutty smell. The other brands I tried clearly watered theirs down or substituted with a cheaper oil. See my pic and google it. The real stuff (this brand) works wonders. It removed a bad scar I had from a sunburn 3 years ago. Amazing.

The oil works amazingly. Areas of flaky skin on my forehead disappeared. I only apply 1-2 drops of oil onto my face and 1 drop of oil onto the neck area. The oil by this company has an amber color and nutty smell, which are the characteristics of authentic rosehip seed oil. The oil is USDA certified organic, which is way better than organic without any certification. In addition, the bottle comes with tight seal and amber color to delay the oxidation process. The company's owner sent me an email with instruction on how to use the oil and thank you note. I appreciate the fact that the company cares about the experience with the oil. I am very happy with this purchase. I strongly recommend rosehip seed oil from this company.

The Rose Hip oil is excellent. I was getting depressed with dark marks and pimples on my face. I'm so blessed that I tried it. My face is much clearer now. The dark marks have faded out. They are practically gone! I have used this for the past months as a daily routine after washing my face.

Ordered this reading all the raving reviews.. I apply the Rosehip oil during the day and Argan oil during night.. My acne scars are faded and my skin feels hydrated and supple!! So happy i made this purchase.. Most of the negative reviews are about the smell.. It does have a distinct smell.. However once you apply it to your skin its not noticeable.. To me it smells woodsy..Also this is truly a customer oriented company, who go out of their way to make their customers happy!! I have used their Shea butter, Cocoa butter and now the Rosehip oil.. Couldn't be happier with the quality of the products..

I like how well moisturize my daughter skin. My girl have acne and her skin care routine as drying her face. This and aloe vera are doing a difference.

This product has a very strong smell (similar to fish oil). I put it on before going to bed so its not typically an issue but its not a product I can put on and then leave the house because of the smell. It has helped with keeping my skin clear and toned. I find refrigerating the product helps the smell a little but I wouldn't purchase if you are uber sensitive to smells.

I purchased this product after reading several reviews about the use of rosehip oil to help with scarring and its use as a moisturizer. I took the plunge and bought this product for evening use. Pleased with the results, I repurchased from the same company. Results were the same, but the oil itself seemed off the second time around... Almost smelled like cooking oil. I'm going to buy a third bottle to see if the second purchase was a one-off. Some people suggest putting it in the refrigerator-- I didn't and it still seemed to work just fine on my skin. I wake up looking more refreshed. The price is right for the results.

I bought this after I tried some rosehip oil at whole foods and the lady was telling me it's really good for your skin. This one doesn't smell as nice as the one I originally tried though. I had wanted to use this as a moisturizer all over my face. I tried that and it made me break out pretty bad and I read online that it's usually better for mature skin and that if you have younger skin it will make you break out. I didn't try using it like that again. I still like to put this on my lips, rough patches, and also use it as an eye moisturizer. I have some small dry patches from acne on my face and this is supposed to help clear stuff like that up so I put it on those. I'll probably try a different oil after this runs out, something I can put all over my face more often.

This rose-hip seed oil came on time and nicely packaged. It didn't smell weird and made my skin smoother and helped take care of some acne and dryness. It comes in an amber glass bottle with a glass dropper, so that's definitely a plus! However, it felt more oily and didn't absorb as well as my favourite brand of rose-hip see oil. also it had a more yellow colour, as opposed to the other brand, which has an amber-ish colour. Other than that, I do not regret buying this and is still my number 2 go-to when I can't afford my regular oil! Definitely buy this if you need good rose-hip seed oil but are on a budget, it does work!

I've been using this product for a couple weeks and it has not only lightened my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, but it has decreased blemishes as well which was completely unexpected. Since my skin is oily, a lot of other oils I have tried have not been compatible with my skin, but the light, dry quality of this one makes it perfect. Now that I know that rosehip oil works for me I have ordered a nicer one from Pai, but it's good to know that there is an inexpensive alternative that really works.

Product is outstanding, I mix it with vaniply to help manage my sons eczma. He always says how much better his skin feels after applying and I can see improvement in the look of his skin as well.However, the recent purchase came with a broken bottle leaked over my order and by the time I was able empty the remaining oil in an old bottle I had it was half gone. I was very upset due to the amount of money I paid for the product paired with how quickly we go through a bottle of this while treating my sons eczema. I will need to find another avenue to purchase through going forward.

Have purchased 2 bottles of this oil, first bottle was amazing, was light on my skin and made it incredibly soft. Before I ran out I purchased a second bottle, sadly the second bottle had a noticibly different smell, almost like a burnt pastry (best was I can describe it) and it wouldn't be an issue, but it completely makes me break out. I don't have break out prone skin or and blemish problems. Not sure what happened between the first and second bottle, or maybe I just received a bad batch. Either way a bummer!

The oil can be used in the following ways. Scars, apply it lightly over area 3-6 times a day, lightly coat and allow 5 minutes to absorb, then rub it in. The rub can be gentle or more pressure. Facial application, put 2-5 drops on clean hands, rub together, then pat both hands on face, allow 2-5 minutes to absorb, then rub in evenly. Body, can be applied to dry/flakey areas, hair, and bacterial/fungal irritations. Overall a good quality oil.

Finally! The real deal! I went through a lot of researching trying to find a true Rosehip SEED oil that was both organic and cold pressed. SO much "snake oil" out there! Rip offs. This is authentic. It does for me, most of what it is supposed to. It does NOT smell fishy, which would be an indicator that it had spoiled. It has a sort of hemp seed, earthy, even a tad linseed oil to it and a nice golden color. I do have to admit that I am someone who dislikes any kind of oily scent, because of which, I will not use some of the most beneficial moisturizers out there. Just a personal quirk. Great packaging, fast shipping, everything it should be. DO keep in the pouch it comes in and refrigerate! I love this as a nail and cuticle treatment!

I bought this oil because it boasts skin regenerating properties of omega oils, Vit A and Vit C, which as I understand, helps to turn over skin cells and improves collagen production. I have a dark spot that has developed on my leg, and has seemingly caused random shooting pains from the area on a daily basis for months. So I started applying this oil to it. I have only applied it about 4 times so far. While there is no visible change in it's appearance, I have noticed that the pain has completely stopped, and it occasionally itches. The itch goes away after I scratch it. I'm no doctor, but in my experience itching usually means healing.Some people have complained about the smell of the oil. It does not smell that great, but it's not a problem for me. I've always been able to tolerate bad tastes or smells if there is a valuable benefit. The smell doesn't last long anyway, and it's mild. I only notice it if I stick my nose in it. The oil absorbs very quickly and does not leave me feeling slimy. I am also using it on my face, and the back of my hands. I received the product promptly and the packaging is very nice. I am happy with the product so far. I would order again from this company.I would have given it 5 starts except that I have only started to use it, and the long term benefits have not yet been manifested. Time will tell. It may deserve 5 stars but I cannot yet tell.

So i have dry skin, and I don't think it helped moisturize much for me. I bought it for the vitamin A content to just help my skin tone over all. It's a dry oil, and if you have acne or scars then this oil can transform your face, because I saw pictures of a reviewer on makeup alley, and I could not believe what it did for her face, nothing short of amazing. You can try this if you have dry skin and it will give you a more glowy complexion but I have to use a moisturizer with it for sure. There was a study on this oil in 1988 on twenty women between the ages of 25 and 35 with extensive premature aging to their skin. Their skin was wrinkled, and had sunspots from overexposure to the sun. After four months of applying this to their skin daily, their wrinkles and sunspots had almost completely disappeared, and their skin had a fresher healthier look. This is because rose hip seed oil is suppose to regenerate the skin from trans-retinoic acid found in the oil. I have not used this long enough to see if this will help the crows feet that are around my eyes. I don't have deep lines more like fine lines but am hoping this will help gradually with that.

Only been using it for a few weeks now, I make my own face wash with coconut oil. Sugar, tea tree and I put this in there too. When I use it by itself I can tell more of a glow the next day then I usually have!

Dries pretty quickly, which is good because I don't like the oily feeling with other stuff.My main complaint is that the smell is not very pleasant. I want to use this for night moisturizer but hate the smell. So I end up not using it much.Don't think I would buy this again.

My skin didn't react badly to it. I didn't notice any miraculous change in the appearance or texture of my skin (occasional pimple, some redness, clogged pores, fine lines) but this did take care of the dryness I sometimes experience. My skin absorbed it fairly quickly so oiliness was not an issue. I used only a couple drops on my entire face so the bottle lasted several months.

I really want to love this. I bought it based on other reviews (beauty bloggers) claiming that it reduces scarring and hyperpigmentation, which I have a lot of thanks to severe acne for most of my life. I do notice that this reduces redness, but unfortunately it seems to irritate my skin by causing/exaggerating breakouts every time I use it. I'm hoping that once I get my acne under control, I can begin using this regularly.Otherwise, it smells and feels lovely. I add two or three drops in my palm, rub my hands together and gently press it on my face after moisturizing.

I bought this to put on my face at night in place of a moisturizer. I have a lot of acne scarring and was hoping it would help fade the scars, as many reviews said it would. I've been using it 5-7 nights per week for about 4 months now, and I don't notice much difference. I also didn't experience the next morning "glow" that many reviewers experienced. It didn't do anything bad to my skin, but just didn't do much different than a normal moisturizer would do. Might be worth a try, but I wouldn't repurchase. It does last quite a while - I've been using a generous amount each time as stated above, and still have about 1/2 of the 1 oz bottle left.

After researching online how to reduce redness from broken capillaries and blemishes due to acne scarring, I stumbled upon an article that said Rosehip Seed Oil is a good natural solution. I went onto Amazon and read the reviews before I stumbled upon this brand, decently priced, reviews weren't so bad, and it has a little dropper so it's easy to apply.The color is yellowish, and the smell isn't very appealing but that isn't a big deal to me. When rubbing it onto your skin it dries pretty fast and it doesn't feel as oily as you would expect.I've used it on my face for about a week now and seen no results, other than a bit softer skin. But what I have seen is whiteheads popping up in my t-zone. My skin's pretty sensitive, so that could be the reason why. Although I've never had a problem with extra virgin olive oil , it's non-comedogenic and a great moisturizer for dry skin. But it also doesn't help with facial redness either so I'm back on my search to find something natural that will actually does. For now I'll keep this product on the shelf and use it on my hands and feet.

I bought it about a month ago and the first week i tried using a little bit all over my face, and i broke out like crazy! Big cystic pimples on my face around my mouth, and my forehead. I do have acne prone skin and a combination skin. I read somewhere that it is not too great for acne prone skin but i decided to try anyways. Not sure if my skin was purging due to this foreign oil on my skin. I used clay mask to calm the acne down, now I am trying to put the oil on again but in veeery small amount, I drip it on a Qtip then apply on ONLY acne scars/dark spots. Not all over my face or on active acne.

I bought this to use it around my mouth to see if it faded away my uneven skin tone around that area...but I keep having to stop using it after 2 days because it makes me break out for some reason. Once I stop using it, my skin is back to normal. Wish it worked for me but I guess my semi-dry sensitive skin isn't made for it.

Maybe I haven't being using this oil for too long to say it works or not. Been using this for 2 months, every other day or so. My skin is still trying to adjust because its very sensitive (severe eczema but not on face). I only have a few small red and dry spots on my face. It's pretty clear and not that much huge pores noticeable for my age of skin (37yrs old.) After showering, I add a few drops on my face and seems to moisturize but sometimes my skin still has some dry patches. Could just be because I didnt add enough where it's really dry. I do have combo skin. Can get pretty shiny at the end of the day and dry after I shower (I use soft water). Maybe I will have to wait a little longer to notice a difference but so far I'd say it works ok. The only flaw is that it can get a bit greasy and when that happens, I just use a tissue and gently pat off the excessive oil. I dont think I will use this under foundation just because it still can dry out certain spots, gets very patchy and then looks cakey. I've been using cervave before I add foundation. I mean I would give it a shot and try it. It's a hit or miss depending on your skin.

I have to give this only 3 stars. I had high hopes for this as I am trying to even out my skin tone and remove my hyperpigmentation. (I'm aware that this would take a while) I had an adverse/allergic reaction to this oil. I did read that this may happen in people with sensitive skin, although, I didn't believe I had sensitive skin but I guess I must. I stopped using this oil (didn't throw this away as I am hoping to use it with a carrier oil) and am waiting for my skin rash to go away. It was all over my face, on my forehead, cheeks, neck and now, I have most of it gone but there are still strong rashes near my mouth, next to where my left "laugh line" would be up to the side of my left nostril and a stream down from the right corner of my mouth, to the mid point of my chin. It has been two weeks already so I'm hoping this will clear up by Thanksgiving.

I haven't noticed any real benefits or change in eczema while using this. Works just like grapeseed or almond oil. It does absorb into the skin, but nothing special.

This is not just rosehip oil. This product also contains tocopherol, vitamin E, which is what I smell each time I put it on my face. It states it also has an "antioxidant" ingredient which is not listed, but states it is a preservative. Just another reason you need to read labels before you purchase a product. Just because it says "pure rose hip seed oil" on the front, doesn't mean that is the only ingredient.

Dried out my skin badly !

Received my product and it did not seem to be sealed in anyway. The color came out orange and had a fishy smell, can anyone confirm if this is the oil going rancid?

It looked like my rose hip oil was opened I don't know if it comes like that but it got me confused and a bit mad.

Not sure if this product is supposed to smell so foul, but it does. Not sure how well it works, over all, because I don't want to put it on my face.

Just tried this today. It's definitely darker in color, which I hear is a good sign, but it has an unpleasant odor, that lasts all day. Plus even using only 2-3 drops as suggested leaves an orange like hue on my face and its really greasy. Will look for another kind of product that offers similar benefits.

It didn't work for me ! Stays greasy on the skin and my face broke out ! I really wanted to like it after reading all the good reviews !

I simply can't get past the smell of this oil. It's great and leaves the skin feeling great but what a nasty smell.

I am 38 yrs old with dry sensitive skin . I had a lot of hopes when I brought this product .I have been using it for 2 weeks,but its not for me !!!!My skin got terribly itchy and i had the urge to scratch it all the time. I noticed slight peeling as well. Plus my eyes started to itch even though i had avoided the under eye area. I decided to give a few days break and try again .Again, I started with one drop first then slowly increased to 2-3 drops on my face and neck area. Couple of hours after application I started to get angry bumps on my chin . I really panicked and applied ice all over the affected area. That's it ..I am not going to give another shot to rose hip oil.If its working for you then good. But definitely its not for everyone.Plus, there is some fishy smell which goes away once applied .The oil is thick and absorbs well but not worth it if your skin cant handle it .Not buying again.

It doesn't smell good and when I put a little on my face I ended up with a huge deep pimple. I never get those on my face. Haven't had one since either. I don't recommend this at all.

Do not purchase! Product came without a seal of protection. Also the dropper seems to have been used. All facial products should come with a security seal. I do not know if the product has been tampered with so would not use or recommend.

Agree with others, smells like the salmon oil I feed my cat. Yuck.

Will stick to argon oil. My very tolerant face did not like this.They are not letting me return for some reason...not happy.

Used this off a recommendation for undereye lines and acne scars. I have drier skin but still have scarring from hormonal acne and saw all the claims that this helps skin of all types. Only used this for about a week before I tossed it--it's so greasy, it slides all over your face and makes you feel almost sticky. No change in appearance for my acne scars or fine lines, and on top of that, I started getting closed comodones under my eyes! My pillowcases felt disgusting, no matter how much time I gave myself before application and bedtime. I eventually got a REAL retinol cream, which actually does help. The item description advertising this as anything remotely similar to retinol is misleading. Will not ever purchase this product again.

The product I received is not pure rosehip oil. The color is extremely light and pale compared to the rosehip oil I have used before. See picture below for the comparison. The oil in my palm and on the left side of the paper is from Better Shea Butter.

Has a nasty smell--reminds me of dried seaweed. Almost too pungent to use. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what since no one else seems to have commented on this.

I've used this oil before (a different brand) and it was odorless until it got old and then it smelled the way this supposed fresh oil smells -- like old, rancid cooking oil. yuck. Now I have to deal with the hassle of returning and making sure I get my refund. what a p.i.t.a.

I really enjoyed the scent and like the little dispenser at the top of the bottle. Prior to purchasing this product, I tried the Whole Foods brand. I was unimpressed. From what was left in my bottle, this is definitely the superior of the two options. This being said, I only give it 1 star because the item came with the top loose and leaked all over my bag as soon as it arrived.

First bottle smelled like rancid fish oil. Replacement smelled like smoked fish. :-(
