Five Star Reviews: | 75% Great Rosehip Oil that has so many uses! August 12, 2017 A very good oil that has so many uses! I like to use this oil when my skin is feeling dry on my elbows, knees, feet and my face. After I use it for a couple of days my skin feels smooth. It is also great for hair and use it in my hair as leave-in-oil and my hair shines a lot, it also helps keep the hair smooth when I blow-dry it or just let it air dry. After removing nail polish on my hands and feet, I will rub this oil into my cuticles and nail beds, it makes such a difference with how my nail beds look.The great thing about this oil is that is lasts a very long time, I have had mine for over year and it still works great.Having such great results with this oil I did purchase a few more bottles as gifts for my family and they love it as well. Great oil that I will continue to purchase! Wonderful Find July 6, 2017 Great product. I regularly receive compliments on how fresh and young my skin looks and I am a woman of a certain age. I also have struggled with clogged pores for years and while it seems counterintuitive the oil does not clog pores. It is priced so reasonably that I have also used on a very bad burn I had recently on my arm once the blistering was gone. My friend the MD keeps asking me what I used - organic aloe & lavender thru the blister phase then organic rosehip seed oil - because of how quickly and well it is healing. The packaging I received doesn't look anything like the picture. Awesome oil! May 1, 2016 I have struggled with dry skin and acne most of my adult life. It seemed counter intuitive to oil my face, but after a lot of research I decided to give this a try. After almost a full year of using rose hip oil daily after my morning shower I have soft clear skin. I get an occasional pimple, but nothing like it used to be. All I use is cetaphil soap and rose hip oil. My skin is in better condition at 41 than it was at 21. Great rosehip oil February 5, 2015 This rosehip oil really helps my skin look great. I wasn't expecting to see results for at least a month after first using it but, to my big surprise, I started noticing a significant reduction in the fine lines and wrinkles in my forehead and around my eyes and mouth. A friend suggested using with a vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serum and I tried . I have found that combining this mask with VC20 - Potent 20% Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid & a Powerful Amino Acid Complex! . The combination of these products has given me amazing results -- revitalizing my skin and making me look younger! Get on this bandwagon for sure. Amazing, amazing product! January 25, 2015 All that comes to my mind is...WOW, what an amazing product this is. I read countless reviews and knew it would do something positive, but I truly had no idea how MUCH would be. I have middle age skin and suffer from all the skin issues that come from that, not to mention living in the high altitude and desert of NM. I just wanted to find something to calm, soothe and help to clear up my skin, and I certainly found it with this wonderful Rosehip Seed Oil. I mean within 3 days I was really seeing a big improvement. I believe in the power of serums over creams (although I use one I make myself) because it is the best way for products to get into the skin, so I made a serum using this oil, and it is really benefiting my skin health. Don't be like me, and be slow to get on the rosehip band wagon, as the sooner you begin to use it the better off you'll be. My skin has not only cleared up from the nagging blemishes, irritations and "crankiness", but it has smoothed out in texture, tone and is really very soft now. I have only been using RSO for going on 3 weeks now, so I am excited to see what the long term effects will be. As with most things it is accumulative and only gets better with time. I heard so many raving things about RSO that I had the mindset that...all this hype?...it can't be all that. WELL, it is and more. I know now why it has been used for generations and why the people that use it have such beautiful, clear, 'pretty' skin. It is light and absorbs quickly. The scent is very light and dissipates within a few minutes. I highly recommend this oil to EVERYONE, and this brand is very high quality. Its the best $16 bucks I have spent in a LONG time. InstaNatural Rosehip Oil July 8, 2014 I really like InstaNatural's organic rosehip seed oil. It's effective and is working great for me. I use it as a daily facial and body moisturizer. InstaNatural quickly sent the oil which was securely packaged. February 27, 2017 I've tried 2 other brands of Vitamin C syrum and both were very watery with no substance. I was impressed with Insta Natural syrum. It is thicker and isn't runny. It is a dark yellow color. It also has a pleasant citrus smell, whereas the other ones I tried smelled like hotdog water. A little bit goes a long way. I put it on and I let it dry. I can feel my skin tighten up a bit, then I put on my moisturizer. So far I like this product. I will definitely buy it again. Amazingly great quality products by instanatural. Such great customer service. After talking to them about my issue with freckles and melasma, i got the Skin brightening serum as well. These products smell so good, look so colorful. Vit C is a very nice natural yellow and skin brightening is a very perky orange shade - all natural. the products disappear on the skin so easily as if skin is thirsty for them and skin just drinks them. i am super happy with them and i wish i had not wasted time in making my decision. they are comparatively reasonably priced than some out there. My badly neglected and listless skin does feel perkier to be honest in just 2 days of application. Highly recommended. Great product !!!! July 4, 2015 I have only been using this product a short time but I know the ingredients in it is very healthy for my skin and in time will decrease my lines and wrinkles . I love the serum when it's on my face and the smooth feel . I know it's a good product and will greatly help my skin . I also use it on my neck . Better results are yet to come !!!! Just my story. June 19, 2015 To my horror, I recently notice that I had fine "ruffles" on my cheek bones on the left side of my face. These are apparently sleep lines caused by burying my face in the pillow every night for years. In addition to changing my sleep habit to back only, I have been using this serum every other night with the Derma Roller by Diva d'or.Qualification: I'm no dermatologist and my results are anecdotal and not statistically verifiable. I do not want anyone being harmed by my formula. I alternate the Vitamin C Serum with a prescription ointment that I will not reveal for that reason. However, I will say that I have used the prescribed medication for years. With the recent addition of the serum, my "ruffles" seem to be "ironing" away. Great product and good value January 26, 2015 This is a very nice serum. In the first place, it smells like oranges! It goes on very cool and smooth, and absorbs very quickly. I use it every morning and evening on my face and neck. Most days I mix it with a few drops of emu oil and skip moisturizer, just depends on my skin and the weather. It does seem to have improved my skin texture more than the other vitamin C serum I was using. This one has some added ingredients that I was not getting before, and the combination works well for my skin type (older, formerly oily but now on the normal to dry side, tendency to larger pores) and I believe some of my darker spots (no, they are NOT age spots) are fading more. Do I look 25? No, thank goodness, because that would confuse the grandkids, but I could probably carve off a few years and nobody would accuse me of lying without a license check first.This is another quality product from this company, which has great customer service also. One month review: so far, so good! January 27, 2017 Been using this for a month now on my face,and i really like it! I have oily skin,like...SUPER GREASY skin, but this didn't make it any worse. Maybe because its winter and I live in a super dry climate, but I love how moisturized my skin feels all day after I use this in the morning. I'm in my early twenties, but I'd began to notice a few fine lines on my eyelids. I think its safe to say this has taken care of them. Now I apply it right after my rose ... July 19, 2015 I never used oil on my face before since my skin is combo and it gets really oily in the summer. I'm changing my lifestyle to more organic, natural products so I gave it a try. I have not really had any wrinkle so I can't really comment on that but I'm using it as prevention. I apply this oil at night and my skin feels really smooth in the morning.At first I tried to apply my moisturizer first, then the oil but one night it was late so I just applied the oil. My skin soaked the oil a lot better. Now I apply it right after my rose water. It does have unpleasant odor, but it is not bad. After a couple uses, I get used to the odor so it doesn't bother me anymore.Excited with my experiment with oil, I ordered two bottles of argan oil and jojoba oil also from Instanatural. I mixed three oils together and I can feel my skin absorb the mixture more quickly. None of the oils makes me break out.I give this four stars because my skin did not have a lot of problems to start with, I'm using it with the hope it will pay off in the future. So far I am satisfied with what this and the others have done to my skin and also the great customer service from Instanatural. Ok I changed to 5 stars :) May 2, 2014 This product was a miracle worker for my skin. I have very hormonal acne ridden skin and a combination of this (and birth control) has finally solved this problem for me. I'm beginning to love my skin and not be so self conscious anymore. I just scrub every night with cetaphil antibacterial soap and put on a little bit of rosehip oil before bed, and just rub my face with really warm water instead of re-washing. My makeup goes on smooth and my face isn't dry or oily, it is just right. I gave 4 stars because the bottle arrived covered in oil which really ticked me off, though the bottle was still full so I guess it really wasn't a big deal. It also smells sort of like eggs at first but that literally goes away almost immediately. Overall I am very happy with this product and will not go without it :) | 16% Strong citrus-y smell, but not a strong opinion on whether or not I'll buy it again July 24, 2017 I've been using this for about a week now and I am liking it quite a bit! It has a very strong sent of orange peel, which surprised me at first, and while it could be considered overwhelming by some, I've grown to like it. The serum itself is very light for the number of different oils inside. I've been moving back and forth between putting it on by itself vs. mixing it into my lotion, as both options feel very nice. Diluting the serum with some lotion softens the smell a bit, but putting it on by itself still feels excellent as it never leaves me feeling like I have a film of oil on my face afterwards. Overall, it hasn't caused any breakouts or sensitivity on my skin so I'll keep using this until I finish the bottle. Will I buy it again? I don't know, as I haven't noticed and markable improvements in my skin yet and the price may drive me to try out another serum (I bought my bottle on Amazon Prime Day, so it was discounted), but I do like the natural ingredients that are put into it. I think it's pretty good. Absorbs quickly April 7, 2017 Second bottle I have bought. As far as a vitamin C serum goes, for the price, I think it's pretty good. Absorbs quickly, pleasant smell, does not burn or irritate and I like that it's all natural. I use twice a day, even around my eyes with no problems. Seems to help with my vascularity on my neck and chest, which a good vitamin C serum is supposed to help with. I'm currently satisfied with this product and am a real consumer who has NOT been paid to provide a rating. Definetly worth it.! September 14, 2015 i have seriously noticed a huge difference in the texture and color of my skin. My skin has a brighter glow, my acne scars are fading quicker, and my face has an overall smoother touch. I put the serum on in the morning and night underneath my moisturizer and it sits well under makeup. i will definatley continue to use this product and will purchase another bottle when my current one runs out. Mom likes it! September 1, 2015 I bought this for my mom she's has dark circle under her eyes and pigmentation on her face. My sister is getting married and wanted our mom to be photo ready and at her best. She has been using this product for a few weeks now (both day and night) and so far she says she likes it. It has not completely removed her dark circles however she can see them starting to lightening up, the serum brightens her face and gives her a nice glow.Update:I must say my mom's face looks absolutely radiant since using this product. I am not sure if the product offers any "permanent" improvement, but it certainly smoothes and tightens the skin when applied. I see a big improvement when I apply it under makeup in the mornings. I will continue to use it faithfully and report back after I have given it a longer trial period. Problem I had with this product is that it stains clothes easily and it's bright orange stain is quite visible. The stain is also very hard to get out of clothes - used Dawn dish washing soap as my solution. Good Moisturization, but waiting to see some results August 14, 2015 I bought this Rosehip oil after reading it on one of the beauty review website, mainly for the wrinkles under my eye. I have started using it, but don’t see too much difference yet, it has been 2 weeks. I love that this comes with a pump, which dispenses the perfect amount. A little goes a long way. I love that it is not oily and doesn’t leave a residue on my face, it absorbs quickly into the skin. I use two pumps at night and put it over my face and neck. I mix one pump of it with sweet almond oil and put it under my eyes at night for wrinkles. I hope I will see some positive results soon. Smells like fish oil March 29, 2015 I am not a finicky person. I actually like herbal smells and I use a lot of products that are natural and that some people would say smell bad. But to me they smells good because it smells natural and earthy. I hate chemical smells. Which a lot of these are non natural products have even with the fragrance piled on. But this product here smells like fish oil. Luckily it does not linger for longer. But I read somewhere that that is a sign that it is rancid and oxidized. I will use all oil but I most likely will not purchase again. The stars get knocked down primarily for the color, because if the vitamin C is "off", there is no way to tell. Thus, manufacturer is basically hiding whether the product is still good or not. This can be remedied by removing the ingredients that cause this color (and which are also the primary skin irritants).Moving on to another brand. It's OK June 18, 2015 I have changed to this serum in the morning and used it for just over a month(followed by my regular day moisturiser) and to the Instanatural 2.5% Retinol serum in the morning. I had been using a more expensive product with a high hyaluronic acid percentage, in a pump bottle. The Vitamin C serum is a ‘milky yellow’ colour, presumably due to the sea buckthorn. I use 4 drops on my face – if more the subsequent moisturiser ‘balls’. I like the expiry data printed clearly on the bottle. I had problems with using a dropper rather than a pump, I think I knocked the vanity unit with the dropper too hard – as the end was broken slightly after a few days. I live in New Zealand, and Instanatural doesn’t send directly to NZ – so order via Amazon. Ordering a single bottle is expensive, so I ordered 4 1-oz serum bottles, the shipping was over $25. So, each bottle costs over $6 more than for US customers. Bottom line – I didn’t notice any difference changing to Instanatural serums except that I now seem to have fine ‘smokers lines’. I still want to economise on serums. i-herb shipping is $8 for a large order, so if getting supplements anyway, other products basically have free shipping – so will investigate what products are on offer. April 7, 2015 It seems like a good product and a lot of people have noticed improvements, I just do not think it is necessarily right for my skin type.I am only 24 so I can't testify the results it has on the effects of aging. However, my skin seemed much brighter when I used the product. This product also contains Vitamin E, which is important to actually rejuvenating the texture of skin and not just the appearance.My issue: It was just too harsh for my skin. I have combination skin and I tend to have some dry areas around my nose and mouth. I was fine the first two weeks I was using the product [Used product once a day as part of my PM routine], but I noticed that once I applied the product later on that the dry areas of my face would burn. I do not use the product on my face anymore, but I still use it on my neck and chest without any problems. didn't work well for my sun spots March 12, 2015 I have no complaints. I got the face lotion as well and I think they work well for my skin, it's nice and soft. So i bought my own. And it smelled like fish. Gag. I returned it. So good product but inconsistent quality. Not suitable for sensitive/dry skin. Makes it drier. February 22, 2017 product not suitable for me. It makes me skin drier than usual. The first bottle was fine but this one when I apply it January 31, 2017 This is my second bottle. The first bottle was fine but this one when I apply it, makes my face look orangy yellow so I have stopped using it. I would recommend it if you get a bottle that does not change the color of your skin. Bottle wasn't sealed November 22, 2016 The seal on my bottle wasn't actually sealed. It was extremely easy to take off the cap without breaking the seal, which worries me about the product that is inside and whether or not it is actually 100-percent Rosehip Seed Oil. Bottle is big, pump that is included is great, but just hate that it wasn't properly sealed. BEWARE OF STAINING! BUYER BEWARE November 21, 2015 the product has new packaging. it is contained in a frosted bottle. the seller claims frosted is as effective as the dark colored bottle to keep out harmful UV rays, which is critical to protect the integrate of the product. however, the claim is unsubstantiated. also, i held the frosted bottle up to the light and can see the color of the oil inside the bottle. if i can see inside the bottle, then the oil is plainly not protected from UV effects. terrible idea to change packaging.it is also worth noting, the product appears to have been deodorized since it is odorless and not vibrant orange in color. for those that may not be aware deodorization damages the oil. the question of whether it was deodorized was posed to the seller, and the seller did NOT answer the question. | 5% It is dark orange in color. Allergic Reaction February 19, 2016 September 2016 Update - I've been using this serum quite happily since last year, having purchased regularly several times through the Subscribe and Save program. Previously I gave a 5-star review, but now I'm changing it to 1 star. The last bottle I purchased in early September (bought 2 bottles; one to give away as a gift) came in a slightly different color (darker yellow) and more watery texture. Once I started using it, I developed an allergic reaction in the form of red bumps all over. It took me more than a week to realize this serum was the culprit, and it took me a few weeks to clear up after I stopped using it. The ingredients list included a couple of ingredients (I forgot to write them down and I returned the products) that were not listed on the Amazon product page. There was no indication of new formula in the product packaging. Untrustworthy manufacturer. It's a shame because I've been a faithful customer. I feel pretty bad about the experience.******* Old 5-star Review******** I've used about a third of the bottle and I can attest to the positive results in terms of even skin tone with less discoloration and less visible pores. I've tried a few different kinds of serums and found most of them either that you don't see much visible effect or that some strong ingredients irritate the skin.
