Five Star Reviews: | 53% Looks and feels good! January 8, 2017 Love it! Great quality, adequate cushioning. I got the size 12 and I wish I got the 14. Other than it, this will work. my instructor says they are perfect. They are comfortable if a bit big for ... January 7, 2016 I'm a first time boxer so these seem cartoonishly big. However, my instructor says they are perfect. They are comfortable if a bit big for my lady arms. Great October 23, 2015 Second pair of everlast, I just took on boxing and couldn't be happier. However, the color was actually completely yellow! the whole glove! | 57% great hand wrap September 12, 2017 great hand wrap. Works for size large hands (or smaller). If you wear xl gloves (like I do), you need 200" wraps. Great hand wraps and feels good August 28, 2017 Great hand wraps and feels good. If you are unsure of how to put them on just follow a tutorial on youtube and you are good to go. Recommended May 22, 2017 I've used these hand wraps quite a bit (box 3-4 times a week). They've held up well. Plus, they're softer and a little stretchier than other brands I've used, so they're very comfortable. As Described May 9, 2017 As described. Product appears to be of quality value when compared to similar products available. Would purchase again when I run through these. and holding up nicely over the past couple months February 7, 2017 Wraps work as expected, and holding up nicely over the past couple months. Would purchase again. Comfort and quality August 28, 2016 I bought these when I first signed up to try kickboxing class. At first, I thought they were too long - that was until I realized how to properly wrap my hands. I love the length as I feel it provides a lot of support. I tried buying some other ones in a 3 pack and they were super short compared to these. I wash them in a laundry bag to prevent tangling. It works great. I wore them 2-3 times a week and washed them weekly and they're holding up great! | 39% Great value August 22, 2017 Needed some actual hand wraps. I was using ace wraps for the longest time. These are very good but I think I bought a size too small. I think I should be able to go around my hand a few more times. Otherwise, they work well paired with my Neoprene Heavy Bag Gloves. Good deal! July 18, 2017 Great price for all three. I was able to keep one for myself, give one to my husband but it was too big for my 11 year old lil hands. So far so good March 6, 2017 I bought my husband punching bag/ speed bag combo for Christmas that he finally set up (took long enough lol) so I finally ordered him the extra gear he needs for it. These were as described, shipping was fast and the price is great! I am 140 lbs, female athlete and my hands arent that big, these work well July 26, 2016 If you understand what these are and that they should be worn under gloves to support your joints (and not as a substitute for gloves, lol), then you should be happy with this product. they ARE a shorter length, as advertised. I am 140 lbs, female athlete and my hands arent that big, so I went with the shorter length. they cover enough to do the standard wrap job, but if you want more wrist support you should really just go with the full length ones. I thought those would be way too long for me but if I could go back I would just get them. quality of product is good, no complaints yet! | 39% There are no reviews yet | 63% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 19% Good quality glove for kick boxing February 13, 2017 Exactly as advertised. Good quality glove for kick boxing. Overall fit is comfortable and the padding is great January 8, 2017 They arrived in a timely manner. Having a little difficulty adjusting to the wrist shields. They are a little longer than I thought. Overall fit is comfortable and the padding is great. They do the job. I use for boot camp ... August 5, 2016 They do the job. I use for boot camp boxing training. Looks good, feels good, functions very well. June 6, 2015 Great form and function, and look great too! I got these for myself, and my kids some as well, so we can have fun and they can learn how to box a little bit, while burning some calories and getting a bit more healthy along the way. These are great! My hands are small April 24, 2015 These are great! My hands are small, but I know gloves come in terms of weight for training purposes! I wear wraps to help protect my hands due to the gloves being a little large for my hand, but they do the job! | 18% but they are sturdy and stay "fresh" March 28, 2017 These are a little long for me, but they are sturdy and stay "fresh". These wraps are pretty good. I've noticed that boxing gear tends to ... February 13, 2016 These wraps are pretty good. I've noticed that boxing gear tends to smell funny. These were a bit shorter than I expected, so I've had to learn a new way to wrap my hands. The product works well but like others have said they do not last forever April 22, 2015 The product works well but like others have said they do not last forever. Mine had about 2 or 3 sessions in the dojo before they started to Frey in spots. The good news is they still work fine and have not gotten any worse from what I can see. I am going on about 1 month with these using a forearm/knuckle pad over them for training. For first time users of wraps the instructions are o.k. but could be slightly more detailed about wrapping the thumb area in my opinion. I would buy these again. | 16% Shorter than I'm used to July 10, 2017 They do the job, are a bit thin and shorter than I'm used to using. You do get 2 wraps per color you see here (6 wraps in total) good product for the price November 7, 2016 I'm a woman and use these wraps regularly for the heavy bag. Yes, they are shorter and don't have elastic, but for my needs and the size of my hands, they work great. the price is very good for a 3-pack. Good for the price, questionable on durability July 13, 2016 When it comes to wraps, there is not much to say except that you'd hope that they are good quality. As far as these are concerned, they meet that criteria and more. With a name like Everlast, there is no doubt to their quality. I would have given this item five stars; however, all boxing enthusiasts and professionals alike should know that the quality of a wrap varies with the price. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for," and certainly, these are not the BEST wraps out there. Nice hand wraps for my 7-year-old daughter December 17, 2014 These have been good, solid hand wraps for my 7-year-old daughter who is learning how to box. I only have two minor complaints (both of which were easily solved): 1) There is no indicator on the hand wraps to tell my daughter which side should be face-down when wrapping her hands. I improvised by marking a black (or silver) "X" with a permanent marker on the side that should be face-down, right below the thumb loop. 2) The velcro fasteners were a bit long for my daughter's tiny wrists, so I just cut off the extra velcro that was hanging after she wrapped her hands. Overall, my daughter & I are happy with these hand wraps & recommend them to other kids looking to protect their hands while boxing. | 16% There are no reviews yet | 14% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 4% i love these, but there were scratches on the yellow ... September 16, 2015 i love these, but there were scratches on the yellow part, I tried to contact the seller and did not get a reply. | 12% Thin wraps September 3, 2017 very thin, so far the best ones I have ringside wraps but i would recommend to buy them in store because quality from amazon is always different. they will do the job pretty well but they feel cheaply made and the velcro ... June 10, 2017 It was alright, they will do the job pretty well but they feel cheaply made and the velcro sometimes pulls on the actual wrap pulling apart the threads. It's ok May 8, 2017 They work. The quality and design are good. Does not feel cheap like other wraps I've worn. Not much more you can really say. Do the job but they're cheap March 16, 2017 Bought another brand of wraps at the same time that are holding up much better. These work fine but the wear and tear started amost immediately. Not for narrow/small hands. March 22, 2016 These are pretty wide for my hands. As a women with narrow fingers and small wrists, these are too wide and made it difficult to get a good tight wrap. | 16% The product is good, but I gave only three stars because the ... July 20, 2017 The product is good, but I gave only three stars because the "net" was open and a little messed up, but I like it. Just like the first set I bought December 9, 2016 Just like the first set I bought, the stitching that attaches the velcro to these wraps is very shoddy. Expect to either re-sew them on or use without as they come off very easily. Other than that they are ok. It is just disappointing that every piece of gear I have purchased from Everlast has had issues. Heavy bag had hard spots, a terrible settling issue and the support straps ripped off the bag. MMA gloves had stitching coming apart after a few months of use. Everlast used to be a brand synonymous with quality but seems to no longer be the case. They're still a good pair of wraps, just had a bad draw, maybe? April 5, 2016 They're a decent enough 3-pack of wraps; durability is in question though... I had bought and owned the same 3-pack from Dick's Sporting Goods in like 2010 or 2011 and just replaced them early this year. Granted, I hadn't used them nearly as often as I do now, but I still hadn't gotten around to using them all that much before the velcro on the red wraps almost completely tore off as I was removing them. I wouldn't say I was aggressive with them or negligent with their care; I always re-wrap them in the circle they came in when I'm through and I always stow them neatly in my gym tote. Not sure if I just had a bad draw, because I would still recommend them to anyone who needed wraps, just a little bummed one pair's longevity was shot early. Not the best product, but worth a try when exploring a new sport. February 25, 2015 I agree with many other reviewers that these Hand Wraps are not very long, but if all you want is a little extra knuckle padding or wrist support inside your boxing glove, then I would recommend this Everlast 4455-3 3-Pk. Pro: -I can get wrapped and hitting the bag before anyone else even gets their gloves on. -I can add extra support where it's needed; wrist support or knuckle padding. -They seem to absorb a lot of the sweat that would normally be saturating my gloves. Cons: -Only after a few 2 hour sessions the material seems to be falling apart. Specifically the Velcro stitching. -The Velcro also snags on the wraps and corrupts the fabric by harshly pulling it apart. -As mentioned, these are great for the added support, but they are too short to properly wrap both my knuckles and wrist. I would recommend this product to anyone who is exploring the sport that uses boxing gloves. You'll want to invest is something better later, but this is a great starter pack. Too short, get longer ones if you are a beginner February 9, 2015 First, let me tell you I'm a beginner in boxing. I have 4 weeks learning to punch. I like the quality of these wraps and the fact they are not elastic is actually good for me. However, they are WAY TOO SHORT(108 inches). They cover me but I feel pain in my finger when I punch. My boxing trainer told me it is because I'm not use to hit and my knuckles need to get used to, so I need more protection. which these wraps cannot provide. After two days I got two swollen fingers, which I never had before. These are NOT BAD WRAPS. the quality is good, it's just they are short. I was under the impression old wraps had a standard lenght. I was wrong. Before this I had Everlast Flexcool Handwraps (180 inches) and those were too elastic, they got my fingers purple after boxing (i'm just learning). I lost them so I bought these. I will keep them and try them again in 6 months. | 15% There are no reviews yet | 7% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 6% Great glove poorly finished June 29, 2015 Bought this pair of gloves whichook great and as I bought another blue pair, I know work great. However this pair ( same as pictured above) had a small solid patch in the fold of the material which you can feel on your knuckles while punching therefore making them dangerous and unusable. Elastic tears March 27, 2015 I liked these a lot at first but after only about 10-15 uses the elastic wrist band started to tear. I think it will completely tear after a few more uses. | 6% try something else September 21, 2017 works well as a hand wrap, but the velcrow fuzz stitching came loose within the first few times using. probably going to avoid getting these again if i can help it It's own Velcro rips off threads easily. August 2, 2017 Texture is very soft and comfy. But this is very weak and thin. It starts wearing from the first use. It's own Velcro rips off threads easily. These aren't the wraps you're looking for. June 14, 2016 I had A Title wraps from my boxing club and I wanted to purchase a few more do I wouldn't have to worry about washing them so often. These are flimsy compared to the Title wraps. Who knew that the big name in the fight game all these years would sell such a craptastic product? Great material, bad Velcro design and stitching... November 27, 2014 Everlast makes good quality equipment. Unfortunately, these particular hand wraps are not their best product. There is a major design flaw in the Velcro that significantly reduces the longevity of these hand wraps. The material itself is great; just the right amount of stretch and durability, but the Velcro and stitching will prevent this from lasting you more than a few times of use. You're better off buying Revgear instead. Hope this is helpful... Horrible quality... September 11, 2013 So, I have been boxing for years and I thought It was time to buy new wraps. Everlast was the first thought, $10 you say? Extra durable? Sounds good to me! NOT!!!The wraps are susceptible to the velcro and they are super thin! I tried to put my glove on and they stuck on to the glove velcro too, resulting in damage to the product! I am really disappointed and would not suggest them to anyone!!! | 12% Only 108" short! April 15, 2017 (Beginner) These wraps are only 108" long, which I don't see clearly anywhere in the product description. I see a dozen different ways to wrap hands for boxing, and so far these wraps come up short for about six that I've tried. Make sure you buy the right length for the style wrap you use! Not a good choice for a "man sized" hand. August 28, 2016 I purchased these a few month back. I found that the wraps would not go around my hands enough time to really secure my wrists and hands. These are 108". I saw some reviews for another brand that was 180" Mexican style wraps that were really good. So, I ordered those. The length of the 180" were exactly what I needed. Plus, the material for the Mexican style was much better quality. These Everlast may be okay for someone with very small hands and minimal use. However, they are not a good choice for a "man sized" hand that wants to use them regularly. Not satisfied! March 28, 2016 Figured this would be a good product based on the Everlast name, I was wrong. I used the black wraps as soon as I got these in, after one 45 minute kickboxing workout the thumb loop completely ripped off. I decided to let that go as a fluke. Well today, after probably 6 or 7 workouts, the white wraps also had the loop rip off. I know i'm not overly hard on these, as I have a pair of wraps that are well over 6 months old and still going strong. Very disappointed. These are a low priced for a reason. The ... December 21, 2014 These are a low priced for a reason. The velcro sticks to the wrap in the washing machine and dryer (I keep them in a mesh washing bag so they don't stick to my clothes), and when you pull the velcro off the wrap, it tears the fabric of the wrap. So the wraps have tears and rips all over them. These are OK for me (torn or not) because I only take a couple kickboxing classes a month, with these wraps on my hands, under boxing gloves, with a heavy bag. But if you are serious about boxing or kickboxing, and will take many classes a week, go the next level up! Not Great Quality. Not Full Length Wraps. Beware! September 21, 2012 BEWARE!! NOT FULL LENGTH HAND WRAPS!!!!!!!! These are 108 inches, not 180. You cannot fully wrap your hands with them unless you are a junior or have very small hands. They work fine if you modify the wrap, but will not offer the same measure of protection as a full 180 inch wrap. I find it perturbing that it says nowhere on the main description about the length. Very easy to look over, I would think. There are three PAIRS, which is great. When it said 3 Pack Hand Wraps, I assumed there were simply three wraps, one for each hand and an extra. They work well for me. I have not washed them yet, but I assume they are going to fray in the washing machine. That's why there are 3 pairs. They do NOT hold up if you try to wrap very tightly. The velcro ripped right out of the seams the other day when I tried to wrap my knuckles for muy thai. The price was a good deal and incredibly fast shipping from the seller. It shipped out one day and arrived for pickup the very next afternoon. Price is great, especially as these go for twice the price at a store like Dick's Sporting Goods. | 14% There are no reviews yet | 7% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 18% different Glove then arrived. Saw the first pair of ... September 5, 2017 different Glove then arrived. Saw the first pair of gloves in the first picture but got a different pair. (Picture 2) Hurts hands August 12, 2017 These gloves do not have enough padding around the top knuckles of your fingers and cause pain within a few punches. I had to return. You're not going to get what's in the picture July 12, 2017 I did not get what's pictured. What I got were bulky and plain, and totally not what I was excited for. One Star October 5, 2015 wrist elastic came off at the first use. not a quality product. returned it . just buy elsewhere... November 28, 2012 the item received was not as described.the gloves run small.the velcro closures are too difficult to operate. go ahead, try to put your second glove on.when i decided to return the item for the reasons above, i was charged a restocking fee. might as well have just kept them and re-sold them on ebay or something.do yourself a favor, buy something else from somewhere else. | 7% Cheaply made, only for a few uses before throwing away October 6, 2017 I'm disappointed in these- was looking to get a new set of wraps because I box 4 days a week. These came and I put them on the next day. The material is thin, not great for hand protection. Pretty stretchy, hard for wrapping effectively and it staying in place. The thing that really gets me is that the Velcro and stitching is already pulling off of the fabric after one use. My other pair that I've worn from another maker, has been worn over 100 times and has yet to do this. Disappointed and won't buy an everlast product again. Cheaply made.see Velcro image below. The fabric is super thin and the velcro already ripped a part of ... June 28, 2017 Very cheap material, would never buy again! The fabric is super thin and the velcro already ripped a part of the wrap after one use! Definitely will not be using these anymore and will buy from another brand. --> cheap, thin, poor quality Extremely disappointed. June 20, 2016 Waited 7 weeks for what I thought were 2 wraps... they came completely open, with only one wrap and clearly says "Eveblast" on it instead of the true Everlast wraps. Would not order this again! Product is NOT what was advertised. Extremely disappointed. | 17% Poor Quality/ Uncomfortable Wraps August 20, 2017 We bought these to have extra wraps on hand but they don't hold up well when my hands are wrapped inside the boxing gloves. They don't stay tightly bound and loosen up in all the wrong places causing rubbing against my knuckles in the gloves. Also need to be careful washing them in a laundry bag because the Velcro if it's exposed will tear them up. Update: They have completely started to fall apart after 2nd wash inside the laundry bag. I even connected the Velcro but it's so long it still gets exposed. You're paying for one time use July 27, 2017 Very cheap quality. Fabric has already ripped apart, only got one use out of them. Fell apart in the hand wash cycle. I had no problems with length like other reviewers- my issues was the cheap fabric. You're paying for one time use of each pair. Do not buy July 26, 2017 Flimsy and too thin for support. Coming apart during first use. Even the velcro tears rhe fabric. More like crepe paper than a decent wrap. Poor quality, basically unusable - cannot recommend at all September 18, 2016 I bought these thinking I was getting at least a good product from a reputable brand - that is not what I got. On the first use I noticed the fabric was incredibly thin and they seemed shorter than my previous wraps. I just measured them to be 93 inches from the loop base (which is sewn on and rather awkward) to the start of the velcro. So they are shorter than listed. I decided to give them another chance for a second class. The velcro, which had lifted a bit during the first use, was now coming completely off (something my other wraps took nearly 20 classes to do). In short, these come up short (literally), they are poor quality fabric and construction and I should just send them back as they are really unusable. Poor sewing job June 24, 2016 Not worth the money. The velcro is strong but is poorly sewn to the wrap. I ripped the velcro from one pair the first time I tried to take off the wraps after one training session. After inspecting another pair, it's obvious that it was not an isolated mistake. Poor sewing job. On the wraps, the inside and out side is not marked close to the loop as on many other brands, so I end up wasting time during the wrap job. After one session, I ordered higher quality wraps from another manufacturer. | 16% There are no reviews yet | 9% There are no reviews yet |
