We bought this scale for postage and eBay but so far we have actually used it exclusively in our kitchen to weigh out food portions. The scale seems accurate and measurements are consistent. There is a button for quick conversion from ounces to grams as well. I appreciate that the scale came with batteries, an A/C adapter a USB charging cord, so all of our bases are covered as far as power goes.

This has been a great help. It does what I need. I don't give it constant use.

Love this scale. It's easy to use and easy to store where it's handy. I do Ebay and need to know what something weighs so I can set the shipping cost correctly and this does the job. I love that it has a tare weight so large packages can be weighed and I can see the weight. Since it holds 80 lbs. I don't have to worry that anything will be too heavy for it. If something is more than that I won't be selling it on Ebay.

This scale paid itself off for me in a couple uses. I was using a Bathroom scale to guestimate the weight of my packages before by subtracting the difference in weight then I would add a couple of ounces just to make sure it would ship. I realized I was overpaying for labels every time and decided to get this shipping scale which has helped me increase my profit margin ever since.Pros:-Very Accurate; it can go down to the nearest .1 OZ and the shipping weight matches what the USPS weighs in at.-Dual power source; it can use AAA batteries or AC wall power. I personally just use batteries because it makes the scale more portable.-Easy to view display-Capacity to weigh up to 50 lbs; however I don't think any package that heavy will fit on the scale surface.Cons:-not very sensitive for weighing very small thingsOverall, this is a very nice piece of equipment to own if you ship a lot of things and don't want to wait in line at the USPS.

Was searching all over for a quality scale to use for my etsy shop. Never weigh anything over a couple pounds but like the idea I can if need be! Was nervous in purchasing one that would be cheap. But this one exceeded my expectations. It's completely durable and not cheap quality at all. I use it almost everyday for a few weeks now and it's still running on the batteries it came with. Haven't needed to use the plug at all so far! I bought this baby when it was on sale. And now I'd probably buy it again if it wasn't on sale.

I purchased this scale for accurate daily weights on foster kittens. It measures to tenth of ounce which is important for me. So far this scale is meeting/exceeding my expectations. I use the tare function so I can put them in a container on the scale. I like that it has an AC plug so that I don't have to replace batteries. I have had other digital scales that were battery-only, so AC adapter is a good feature.

This is the perfect digital scale. I work as a chemist and I have dealt with scales, callibration of scales, etc. Let me say this very simple to use and the convenience is 10/10. I had purchase one because I sell on sites such as ebay, mercari, poshmark, etc and it helps to know how much your package/ item weighs so you can calculate and factor in shipping. I knew I didnt need something super accurate ( to the thousands + place) so this was perfect. It was very accurate and I had no discrepancies with the package weight when scanned by the post office. I think one best features of this scale in my opinion aside from the accuracy, is that can be either plugged in or powered by battery. My battery died and I didn't have any batteries left so I plugged it in and got right back to work! I definitely recommend this to anyone who sells things online and needs to weigh their packages. Its simple and accurate!

This scale has been a lifesaver!! I purchased this product mainly for my Etsy based business and for small amounts of personal use. I was shipping packages daily and waiting in line at the post office wasn't working for me.This product has an on/off switch so I can keep it plugged in. It comes with batteries and the ability to opperate on them but I prefer to use the AV jack. This could be useful for travel though and I'm happy it has the options. It's perfect for me because I mainly shipping small, lightweight objects. This scale is a great price and successfully gets the job done.Bottom line: this scale accurately weighs packages, great price, and compact. Would recommend!

I'm really digging this All-in-one scale! I sell on ebay and needed a good all around scale........this was it! Very easy to use and doesn't take up a lot of space. It will either run off 3 AAA batteries { included} or 5V adaptor.....just plug it in and you're ready to go. I also like the weight Capacity--up to 50lbs; Sensitivity--0.1oz. When unpacking, don't forget to remove the foam strips they placed in between the scale and base, I almost didn't see them! Also, if you read the instructions? Seems some reviewers didn't? The scale has a hold button on the right side of the scale, which basically lets you keep the weight of the item on the screen when weighting those large items that inhibit you from seeing the screen, until you remove that item. Definitely a plus! It also has a flip-up lid on the top of the scale for those items that won't stand easily on their own. Great little scale, user friendly and well thought out, can't beat it for the price.

It was smaller than I thought it was going to be, but it was functional. I just wish the display would stay on. I even did the "hold" button but it still wouldn't stay.

I'm rating this a 4 star because there were finger prints on the LCD screen & a few scratches under the cover, the sides & underneath where the batter compartment is located. and the scale it's self is crooked. it's slightly not accurate. but over all work great

This is a nice sturdy machine. I was looking to replace my Kitchen Aid scale and needed an ounce option. I use it to weigh colors at my salon. I like that it has a plug in option, no more low battery problem in the middle of a color. I gave a four star review because of one draw back, the automatic shut off is too fast , for what I use it for anyway. I might have return it but I had to use it as soon as I received it. But it is a well made product if the shut off time is not an issue for you.

This is a great value for the price. I bought this to weigh items for eBay and it has saved me much time and effort, not having to pack things up to take to the post office just to weigh them. It is compact and easy to use. Lost one star due to slight inaccuracy. Not enough to make a big difference, as long as I round up. Also when I leave a package on the platform, the weight indicator takes a while to stop creeping. Overall, I'm happy with it for my purpose.

We purchased this scale for our child's 4H rabbit project. It has served its purpose, and will be put back to work in a couple of months. As for accuracy I can only say that the rabbits weighed the same at home as at the fair check in. We use it for 2 - 5 pound depending heavily on the ounces 4.5 - 5.5 pounds. Our 10 y.o. easily picked up on using the Tare and Hold options.

Accurate and reliable scale. I am confident I always have accurate weight and won't be having to pay any extra postage. Plus the weight limit is so much greater for this scale than any you can find in the price range.The display is easy to read and can be changed from lbs to oz. it's also nice that it runs in batteries or powe cord. I run on battery so there is one less cord to plug in and get in the way. one drawback is that the area is not very large so for items that hang over the edge I'm a little weary of discrepancy. But it always seems to work out just weigh it a couple times and you'll come to the accurate weight. This is a good purchase definitely has paid for itself.

The Accuteck All-In-One Scale is compact and is good for weighing things before going to the post office. I have weighed items because I use prepaid postage and when I get to the post office the weight is the same or a few ounces more (there maybe air or shifting of the item that makes it change) but I always round up the weight in my prepaid postage and there is now need to add extra postage because something is a one or two pounds more. I recommend the scale because it is lightweight, comes with batteries and an adapter, and the price is reasonable.

Scale is sleek and light weight. It is easy to read and extremely easy to use. I like that you can plug it in instead of having to use the batteries. The only reason I didn't mark it as 5 stars is because when I put a can of soup on there, the net weight seems to be off by about .5 ounces each time. So instead of the can of soup being say 3.7 ounces, it would read 3.12 ounces. I tried this with several products and they were all at least .5 ounces off. However, I would round up to the nearest next ounce anyways, so I'm not concerned. Also the way the mailing works, it typically isn't an increase in price when you do this with smaller items.

I wanted to get a scale to be able to easily weigh items for shipping. There are some things I like about this scale and other things that need improvement.I like that the scale is lightweight and easy to read. However, I've found that after the scale isn't always accurate which is a a big problem. It seems to loose its accuracy and calibration after weighing anything heavy. However, it is nice that you can recalibrate the scale after each use, its just not that convenient. I also like that you have a battery or corded power option however, the batteries tend to drain and loose their power very fast. The lid or flap (to enable a larger weighing surface) sometimes sticks and it can be difficult to open -- it seems like I'm pulling too hard at times. Also, the lid seems a bit flimsy and I'm not sure how long it will last without breaking.I think the scale is perfect for small items however, it is very difficult to use and looses accuracy as the weight of what you are weighing increases. So really, it depends on the approximate size and weight of what you'll be measuring to know if this scale is for you.

It doesn't zero very well at all. Always jumping around. It's also very small, so any box that is more than 9 inches or so will have a hard time being steady. On a positive note, it is fairly accurate. Overall, I regret my purchase.

Seems pretty decent for the price. I have noticed that sometimes the number may bounce around a bit. I weighed a package and sent it out via UPS, and I guess the weight was off ever so slightly because I received notice of an extra charge for the extra weight. It's okay. Its not perfect.

Ordered this scale for weighing small packages before shipping. The accuracy is close, but its not perfect. Has been off by .1 ounce up or down pretty steady. Its a miniscule amount, but could cause a issue with short postage. First Class package shipping rates are the same at 4.0 and under, but 4.1 is a little more, so it could POSSIBLY be finicky. Best to be cautious on stuff that's close.

mixed feelings. while it is nice and compact and it works well, it is a small surface area, and frequently my package covers the numbers showing me the weight. as soon as the package is lifted the weight disappears, so it's a juggling act getting any package of size on it evenly and still get a good reading. i would not buy it again. best for smaller items

Small unit. Platform top is only 6 x 7.25 inches, which is pretty small considering the weight range is up to 50 pounds.Three AAA batteries are included but are the cheap "heavy duty" batteries, not alkalines, so they won't last as long and will have a greater chance of leak. The included switching power supply does not draw power when the machine is "off'" which is nice. The top of the platform folds upward at about a 110° angle to help keep items from rolling off. However, the outer surface of the platform has some sort of "soft-touch" polymer coating on it which in my experience will either peel off or degrade into a sticky mess fairly soon. Warrant is 10 years and my scale is new so I don't know how long it will last nor the quality of the warranty. Three stars because of the coating and the cheap batteries.

This is a good scale if you are weighing a product under 20 pounds, but anything higher is not accurate. After consistently being advised of having an incorrect weight on my pre-printed postage at both UPS and USPS, I ordered a different scale for heavier weight packages. However, this scale gets the job done if the weight is under 20 pounds.

This scale is very nice. It is easy to calibrate, accurate, and reads quickly. However, I feel that a 50lb limit is pointless because there's no way to see the reading when attempting to weigh large boxes. While there is a hold button that will hold the current weight, the platform is so low that it's hard to push without moving the box on top.If you are planning on using this merely as a small postage scale, this is the scale for you. But if you plan on using it for writing boxes of stuff for business, find a scale with a display that is detachable.

The backlight died less than 24 hours out of the box & I'm getting inconsistent reading of 4 nickels ranging from 18-22 grams. Will be returning for a replacement to see if I got a dud.

Sorry, not precise. I put a package on and weight it 3 times. Each time can be a little different. Fine if you're not near a breaking point. Gives me a general idea, but definitely not the same as the Post office.

Died after 2 months. Started flashing random weights even when there was nothing on it. Changed the batteries, no luck. This might be good if you occasionally weigh things, but I did about 40 a day.Also, it auto turns off about every minute. So absolutely annoying, you have no idea.I recommend buying a better one, even if this one seems inexpensive.

I have had this product for just over 4 months and it has already stopped working. I never used the battery option, it was always plugged into the wall to weigh small packages and one day it just wouldn't turn on anymore.

RETURNED. ISNT FULLY CALIBRATED TO THE GRAM. GOOD ONLY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR OUNCES.

I can't seem to find a reasonably priced accurate scale. The last accuteck scale i ordered i sent back because of inaccuracy. This one I measured against the post office scale and it is 1.4 ounces off. Not a big deal unless i need to ship something first class which i'm sure I will. All the scales say they are calibrated before you receive them and I have not found one yet that is. I do like the flat top...

Arrive broken. Had a smaller one of these that works really well. This one deserves the 1 star. Not my fault that it didn't work. The company's poor QA is surely to blame.

This scale gets less accurate the heavier the items are. I just sent 5 boxes via UPS and here are this scale weights vs UPS scale weight: 3lbs/3lbs (accurate!), 4.76lbs/4.65 (close), 6 lbs/6.2lbs, 14lbs/14.95lbs, 30 lb/36.15 lbs (this is 6 lbs off!). The 30 pounder was really tricky to weigh, I had to put a framed poster on the scale, tare it and then the box on top of that to get it to weigh. I wish I'd taken a picture so you could see how ridiculous it was. The scale is small and really hard to read with a larger item on it. Without the poster frame, the box just sank around the scale and touched the counter. The item is supposed to be centered on the scale, so if you put anything larger than the scale on it, the overhang prevents you from reading the screen. The screen is a really poor design, it reads great only from above, so if you have to look slightly under a box, you can hardly make out the weight at all.If you have to weigh small items, this works great, but if you plan on using this for packages or anything large or heavy, don't buy it.

This scale is useless. It is not accurate. It weighs empty air at varying weights and pressing the tare button doesn't help. Perhaps this one is a dud, but we're used to scales which work well and accurately right out of the box (our American Weigh brand postal scale has been working well for years).Additionally, the "hold" feature is useless for larger items since one must manually press the hold button on the side of the scale in order to "hold" the weight. We are used to scales which once the item is stabilized, beep to alert you that it is now holding the weight and you can remove the item in order to view the weight.This was a waste of time and money. We will be returning it.

 I bought this because of the 5 star ratings from other buyers. I am very disappointed. It arrived about 20 minutes ago from UPS In a package that was weak the bubble wrap and paper was torn across one end/and on one side. It looks like they re-taped it. There is a small tear on the other side of the package also. And when I opened up the package it was super easy to open so it reflects that it was very weak paper weak packaging. When I got the box out, the box from the manufacture had a Dent on one corner. The box itself was sealed so I opened it up and a piece of cardboard fell out, when I read the instructions it mentioned to remove the cardboard from under the scale. But that cardboard that fell out must have been what was supposed to be under the scale. I put the batteries that were included inside and the device did not turn on when I pressed the power button. I used the plug that came with the item and it did not turn on also after I turned on the on button. I really wish it words because I really need it right now. It arrived today Amazon prime. Via UPS. I'm sorry I cannot recommend it. Or at least from the seller. I am sending it back tomorrow. I'm super disappointed. It's a waste that they didn't package it well enough to protect it and now it doesn't work and it's just trash now.

I just returned this to Amazon today because it broke within a week. It worked great the first day, but when I took it out to use it a few days later it got stuck in "calibration mode" (zeroing itself). Seems a ghost was touching the measurement pad. If/when it finally exited calibration mode, it would drift +/- around zero and give me a totally bogus reading (even negative sometimes).

This scale is inaccurate. The displayed weight would vary greatly even when weighing the same item several times. It weighed a known 6oz item (verified by USPS and a different scale) at 5.7oz. This is unacceptable and makes this scale useless.

Worked wonderfully until today, a mere 4 months later, it simply displays "ERR" on the screen. Try to find the company to maybe get some warranty work? No dice, if they're out there they're not on the first few search results.

This is so tiny that even if you have something as big as 30 pounds it usually covers up the numbers so you cant read them anyway.

The read out on this scale can only be seen looking at it from above. If you place a large box on the scale, that over hangs the readout, you won't be able to read it because the angle in which you look at it changes the way it looks. I would avoid this scale.
