GREAT
August 18, 2016
Really happy with these black out liners. They work. Installation was easy. I have grommet curtains. The liner is made of sturdy material. One side white and the other a dark grey/blue. 1 liner per package. I bought 2.Attached pic of contrasting windows with and without liners.
Just what I needed.

These were my answer for a pair of bedroom curtains I really liked and wanted to keep, but were too sheer at night, and let the sun come streaming in and heating up the room in most of the day in Summer. I live in the California Central Valley heat, with no A/C, and blocking sunlight is very important for keeping the house comfortable. They really do a good job of it. They come with stuff you may or may not need. The instructions could be a little better, I had a hard time seeing what the grey-toned photocopied diagrams were trying to illustrate, and I love it when I can just see a picture and know what they are trying to say. The first type of curtain diagramed was easy to see, therefore understand. The second, somewhat less so, the rest really needn't have had the unclear diagrams, but the written instructions are good enough. In my case I was using them behind tab top curtains on a single rod. There are quite a few different ways you can put them up. They have tabs with rings attached (and you can use the rings or just the tabs), little white braided ties, and a rod channel My curtains had a few more tabs on them than these do, and I didn't want to get an extra cafe rod just yet so I used the small little loops on the top border with the ties provided to tie up the parts that were sagging because of my extra tabs. There were plenty provided. It looks perfect. I was able to do that because my tab top curtains don't have the tabs exposed, they are on the backside of the curtain tops, otherwise I would not have gotten away with the additional ties, and would've probably opted for the separate cafe rod. I may later on anyway, in cooler weather for my sheers in daytime and these at night. Lots of curtain types, lots of options! I'm showing a photo with them almost closed, I left a gap so I could see what I was doing. The other photo I took after switching on a light. They would hang straighter but there is a bed against that wall. I am very sensitive to smells, especially chemical smells, I have breathing issues, and I can't detect any odor at all, and they hang in full sun most of the day. I think they are great.
Great liner!
March 15, 2016
The sunshine was making the pattern in my curtains less visible and these liners block the sun out very well. The picture shows the drastic difference. The curtains have hardware and detailed instructions on how to hang the liner with various types of curtains. It's pretty great. One thing I must mention if you are using these with grommet style curtains is they work best with curtains with eight grommets. Mine happen to only have six which posed a slight problem that was remedied by folding the last section inward and doubling up the hooks.
Works great, just bought another

This panel is great. Easy to install and made of high quality, light-blocking material. One panel is enough to cover the full width of my standard size windows (32ish inches?) with enough left over on the sides to keep any light from sneaking in. I was confused when picking out the size, because the lengths were different from usual curtain lengths. When the packaging arrived, it listed the sizes better:45" x 56" = fits 63" length curtains45" x 77" = fits 84" length curtains45" x 88" = fits 95" length curtains45" x 101" = fits 108" length curtainsBecause of these liners, I no longer have to wear an eye mask to sleep past dawn.
Works great and NO smell
April 26, 2014
I read a lot of reviews that mentioned a smell. It isn't there. They must've changed the product somehow because there is no smell whatsoever. It does what it says it will and keeps out the light.
They are perfect and worked out for me. 5 stars!!!
November 22, 2013
I was skeptical about buying this liner because of all the reviews about the odour. After a week of mulling I ordered them since these were the only liners available on amazon that fit my requirement. When I received the liners I was ready to throw them into the washing machine and let them air dry to get rid of the odour every one seems to have wriiten about, but my liners were fine!! There was no smell.

Love these curtains.. keep the room really dark..
November 11, 2015
These curtains are awesome. We have street lights outside the house so our bedrooms aren't very dark. Our earlier curtains were lined but even with that the room was not as dark as these are. In fact these curtains have made a significant difference - its not even comparable to our earlier "room darkening" curtains !! And these are so lightweight and drape beautifully... I bought these for 2 bedrooms in our house - one set in maroon and the other in beige. Both keep the light out at night. In the daytime the beige curtains do let a little more light in, but it still really darkens up the room. Absolutely love these curtains... wish I had found these earlier !

Update Dec 2016: Picked up a navy blue set for the guest bedroom in our house over 6 months back. My daughter started sleeping in this bedroom a few weeks ago due to a noisy fan in her room, and she now refuses to move out of this room as the room is nice and dark at night ! So picking up a fourth pair of these curtains today (in black) for her bedroom...

If you need room darkening curtains - these are the best ! Also love that they are so lightweight, drape beautifully and they are non bulky so when you want the curtains open to let the light in, they can be pushed totally to the side, unlike many other room darkening curtains that tend to be bulky and heavy...
Love love love!
October 3, 2015
Love these curtains!!! OMG, worth every cent. The fabric is heavy, well structured, has a feeling of luxury. Hangs perfectly. Best darken curtains I have ever come across by far! Being a night shift worker, I love the fact that it's one large panel. I also bought a curtain rod that curves at the ends (Target). Room stays dark! Highly recommended.
GREAT BUY
November 3, 2014
i read many good reviews on this curtain and have to say they were correct. I purchased the chocolate extra width to use on my glass slider door. the material is really nice, the curtains are thick, soft, block out the light and the cold. I didn't try the instructions on how to get rid of the wrinkles/folds but ironed them, which was a bit of a challange due to the extra width but they ironed nicely and look great. I really, really love this curtain. the color is exactly like described and looks like chocolate. highly recommend this curtain to keep out the cold weather and light. i won't use them in the warm months, have other curtains for that but the cold weather, these are GREAT!!!!!
Sliding glass door curtains and I LOVE them!
October 20, 2014
I love these curtains! I love the thickness, the weight of these! They really do feel soft, yet with a feeling of heaviness that makes these drape beautifully. Color: Beige - the picture is not accurate, although I would say the color name is accurate. These are a light khaki (not dark)..my husband wears khaki colored pants to work everyday, so I do know the color..it's slightly lighter then a normal man's khaki colored causal pant. My walls are the creamy/ivory color that these are supposed to be, and they look great with them. I used a one inch brushed nickel rod at Big Lots (discounted merchandise from other stores) and I LOVE the antiqued coppery bronze against the silver color of the rod. I have a ceiling fan with the brushed nickel, in my dining room, which is close to my kitchen..there are elements of browns, blacks, silver..so the color does well. I used TWO 100 inch panels WITH a middle support bracket..and I LOVE that you can leave one closed, the other partially opened on one side, or push both to the far edges of the rod to see out. When you are holding the grommets together for one panel, they are exactly 3 inches, so, you will need to hang the rod 4 inches out (the bracket holder takes 1 inch) past the frame of your sliding glass door, so that you have access to the door handle without touching the curtains. These are not completely blackout curtains..they do have a very soft glow, but they do keep the hot sun from shining in, and, I've noticed on these chilly mornings, that they do keep the coldness from the window, on the other side, which is where I want it to be. I would say these are more casual, but can be dressed up, as I did by adding a decorative wrought iron wall hanging. Feel free to ask questions!

Update 6/4/2015 - Made it through a very cold Virginia winter, and I will say, I still love my curtains! They really helped tremendously on keeping out that cold air. Now that it's getting warmer, I've had to close the curtains several mornings because of direct sunlight..and you can tell immediately they not only block out the sun, (a soft glow, not total blackout) but keeps out the heat. Will update this once we get through the worse of summer. *side note: because I let my dogs out several times a day, many times I'll go outside with them..and instead of closing the glass door, I've even closed the curtains and left the door open even though I have a screen..the heaviness of the curtains keep out the bugs, while not letting in heat in or cool out, for short periods of time, while I walked around in my back yard.
Very Surprised
August 14, 2013
I am building a small vacation rental company and needed some curtains for a new unit. I found these very quickly, but decided to search elsewhere because the reviews were hit and miss and I thought I could do better. After searching tirelessly and becoming honestly astonished at the lack of large panel style curtains I went with these. I needed 100 inches wide and 84 inches high and I could not find anything that would suffice anywhere else. I went for it and bought the large Blackout Curtain in Olive, and also some smaller styles that were not the "Blackout" style.

I am excited and surprised at how nice these curtains are. The color is great, and I was not sure what to expect with the odd computer generated images they show on the website, and the fabric is awesome. I am impressed at the quality of the fabric and the stitching involved. I especially like the bigger Blackout style panels. They are beautiful, and I am a 26 year old male saying that. The price was right, and the curtains are above and beyond what my girlfriend and I expected. Awesome fabric and the grommets at the top are solid and very good looking.

I reluctantly bought these because I couldn't find anything else, and now I can't think of anything better. I give these curtains a big Gold Star.

Good Luck!

These work great. The instructions could have been a bit more detailed. Also, the tops flop over when used on grommet curtains. There were little ties that were included that might have been intended to correct this problem, but with the lack-luster instructions, I threw them away before realizing their possible intended purpose. Great reduction in light and heat in my east facing bedroom.
Lux and darling for a reasonable price!
June 18, 2016
I love these liners. They are heavy and nice quality and work very well for my toddler's bedroom. There is also sweet detail on the top of the curtain, which no one will probably see, but something about it just makes these curtains a little more darling and lux. The inside of the liner is a nice color--like a muted blue or dark lavender, though, again, you probably won't see it.
Rings won't fit on a 1-3/8" Diameter Rod
May 5, 2016
Overall I liked the liner and it was packaged real nice ( each ring was wrapped in plastic). And I need a liner the would work with light weight grommet curtain and not actually have to be attached to my curtain.I sniffed and there was no odor, but I didn't fully open the liner, I just opened enough to test if it would fit on my 1-3/8" diameter curtain rods. It barely fit, way too snug for my use, since it took a lot of force to slide teh ring on my curtain rods and I like to open and close my drapes. Great idea. I just wish they had posted the ring diameter in the specs, so I saved myself sometime. I have to return these and shop again :(Update: 7/26 Decided to keep the curtain since they seemed to to be made well. I hung the one panel I bought up for about 2 weeks to test if any odors were cause from the intense heat and sun of my huge western exposure window. No problems with odors, so then I tested with some cheap, 2", stainless rings that are actual office supply 'book rings' (SPR01439) they can be opened and closed to fit in the existing sewn loops, but we are going to lift up the panel and attach the ring through 2 loops of the 'looped trim' that was meant for hooking directly to curtains. I'm doing that because the loops make drop pretty low and the light shows through the top ~6 inch of the curtain and it sort of looks cheapo. If my curtain rod was a tad higher it would be a problem.Overall I am happy enough to but the other 13 panels I need to fit this one monster window in our living room and I may also do it in west side window of the master bedroom. I love the flood of light, but it makes the room hot all summer and it's cold in the winter because it is a huge window as well.
Perfect
February 5, 2015
I can't even find anything bad to say about this!! A little pricey maybe but worth the money spent. I bought two of them. They come with rings to slide on your rod and it also comes with ties if you need to tie to current curtains. They are room darkening and they slide easily with the curtain when opening and closing. Good width and length. Not exactly the same size but still works great. No odor at all that old reviews complained of. I can confirm as some others have that the odor issue has been resolved.
No Smell
January 14, 2015
My only issues with these liners are that the gray color shows through sheer curtains, so I reversed mine. I am not sure if the direct sunlight will damage the insulating side which now faces outside. The second issue is that the 77" length is really too short for 84" drapes, although that is what is recommended. Even if they did not show through, it still leaves several inches with no insulation at the bottom of your window. I will use them on another window behind furniture and reorder the 88" length and hem them for my patio door. I really hate that you cannot get them in 84." No odor--I understand this was corrected in 2014.
These work well as far as they cover
December 28, 2013
I got these because I like the curtains I have but I wanted them to be room darkening. They made a substantial improvement wherever I placed them however their effectiveness in the center makes the light coming in around the edges that much more prominent. Also, most of my curtain poles have been able to withstand the additional weight of these without bending but one set could not. I will not be able to use them on that window until I change out the mount. The pole was bending and the bracket was clearly under stress as well. I attached two of them to existing tab top curtains using the tie-on's and another three to existing rod pocket curtains using heavy duty drapery pins. The curtain pole with two panels and the drapery pins was the one showing the stress.

Gorgeous!!!! I might need to recheck my crayon box tho...
May 25, 2015
After realizing I shop for curtains as well as men shop for clothes I decided to take the chic lazy gal's way and order these! I was impressed by the width (who only wants 51"!) and I have a triple window that needed to block the sun out of my eyes when I had the luxury of sleeping in til say...7. They arrived in perfect condition and after getting the 'whisker stamp of approval' from my cat I set out to hang these beauties! I won't even get into the debacle otherwise know as operation Curtain rod which almost involved me falling out a second story window, but after 3 hours and a few adult beverages these curtains were up and blocking the sun! I will confess I'm pretty down with my color spectrum but the picture of "beige" shown here is not what you get! Just know the "beige" here is something I would consider "off-white" and the "beige" that arrives more resembles sand in Ocean City, MD. Since the room needing these window tarps was done in a beach theme I had no complaints and kept my order as is, but go check out your Crayola box because if that picture is truly beige (vs the actual product) I will go get my head examined. Still I would give it 5 stars for beautiful curtains...just 4 ended up due to not true likeness of color. Now onto another project where I can utilize my amazing DIY skills....filling in the 9 holes with spackle from forgetting how windows are studded out...😏
I do like these curtains
November 22, 2014
I do like these curtains, but the color should be renamed as light Khaki not Beige. They still work for me, but they are not beige and definitely not the color shown in the picture. One more thing about these curtain panels is that both the panels are not the same length. One panel is 2 inches shorter which is a significant difference. Also one of the curtains is totally drooping in the center. Now me and my husband are trying to adjust the curtain rod in a way that the difference in the curtain length is not that visibly noticed!
Curtain Hanging 101
June 27, 2014
I love these curtains! I purchased mine in Chocolate for the giant slider in my bedroom (where I co-sleep with my baby). I was desperate to find affordable black out curtains to darken the room enough for nap times. This did the trick. However, I did run into a snag but only because I failed to measure properly for what I needed. A few tips for others that I didn't think of: #1-This is a grommet curtain, which means it bunches, which takes a little from the actual length of the product after hanging. #2- A wide width slider will require a center support bracket for your curtain rod. Guess what that does to the sliding area for your curtain? Yep, it splits it in two. So I discovered that even though the single panel is long enough to cover the entire slider on its own, because of the center bracket I needed a second panel, one to pull from the left and one to pull from the right so when they close they meet in the center. Doh! But you live and you learn and now I know for the next time I need to hang my own curtains.
Very Nice
June 13, 2014
This curtains are very nice. They are super soft and look beautiful. I order them in beige and the color is a little darker than the color shown in the pictures but still a very nice color. I am giving them a 4 star rating because they are not true blackout, they darken the room very nicely but a lot of light comes in. I am very happy with them anyways.
Pretty good
May 13, 2014
We really needed a curtain for our master room since we have a flickering lamp light right outside our window but we only wanted to buy just one curtain and came across this and it works perfectly to block out that flickering light but when sun comes it peeks through the top which is still nice so I wake up at normal times. I haven't noticed any change for keeping the heat out or cold. Its been 90 all week in Georgia but our room is still pretty warm, so that's why i took off a star it's still warm in the room with the curtain closed. Not that big of an issue though. I love the color it's the same that was in the picture, (we got the burgundy one) the material is a nice soft texture and it's a very good curtain for blocking out those unwanted light.

A thourough review for use with traverse rods
August 22, 2017
I had purchased Eclipse Blackout drapes, in a dark color lately, for my bedroom sliding glass door. Unfortunately, they weren't white on the window side and the heat they attracted with the dark color was making the room uncomfortable, not to mention the extra power for the A/C (I live in Florida). So I needed to buy white curtain liners, and I picked these. NOW, that I've established the use, read on for the review:* I purchased mine for a pinch pleat, traverse rod set up. Since these liners are made for different types of rods, there are a few types of hanging features to accommodate them, including circular "brass" hooks that aren't really removable (unless you're determined to do it!). Because I was using a traverse rod, the liners were hung from the same pin hooks that were used to hang the curtains by small, not very well made, loops at the top of the liner. As a result, the liners hang higher with a traverse rod and the bottom 4-5" of the drape are not covered. This isn't an issue with my blackout drapes as far as light getting through, although there could be uneven fading in the future at the bottom of the drapes. If you were hanging them from the previously mentioned circular hooks, that would lower the liners to the bottom of the drapes. In my situation, I just let the brass hooks dangle between the drapes and the liners.*They only come in single 45" wide panels, so my patio door took 2, and this leaves a large open area in the middle, even though I overlapped the liners at the top. I remedied this by putting wood, spring type, clothes line clips to hold the crack shut. You could sew them if you want to take the time, or pin them.*They are made of an 80% polyester/20% cotton front (white window side) and a 56% cotton/44% rayon grey back. They are machine wash only. NO DRY-CLEANING. The front side with the heavy (plastic) polyester content seems "sticky".*THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA, and are probably overpriced considering the cost to manufacture them in Communist China, in which the Chinese government is getting most of the money. (whenever you buy Chinese made products you are paying for their nuclear missiles and their illegal, man made islands).Although these liners would be more desirable if they covered the curtains to the bottom, I would consider buying them again, although I will look first to see if I could find something more adaptable to my situation, and maybe something not made in China.UPDATE: I purchased 1 liner for another sliding glass door, this time getting a different brand that is white on both sides and is sold by Rose Home Fashions, also through Amazon. It is MUCH better quality, according to the liner tag, it is Made in USA (although the packaging says China), and is 2" wider (47") so you can overlap the liners and avoid the opening in the middle. After seeing the better quality, I changed my rating on these from 4 stars to 3 since comparably they aren't as good and cost more money. I will be returning these and replacing them with the ones from Rose Home Fashions.
Wish I had paid more attention to what would be needed to make them look right with our curtains.
June 27, 2017
They would assist in light blocking, but if you don't sew them onto your curtain, it sags on the in-between spots where the light can be seen coming through.

August 20, 2016
Needs to be wider to fit a normal sized curtain. I paired it with yellow curtains to match our room while still being dark enough for me to sleep when I work midnight shifts. I can still sleep ok during the day but it looks funny because you can see the light coming through the yellow curtains on the sides. If you need pitch black to sleep you will need wider panels than this.
Blocks Light Well, But Smelly
June 9, 2015
These curtains do a good job of blocking out light (except for the edges, but what are you going to do?). However, they do have a noxious smell when it's sunny outside. We've had these quite a while, and the smell hasn't dissipated. If you live in a hot climate, or intend to keep your curtains closed during the day, I wouldn't recommend these. If you have air conditioning, and want them to block out early morning light, than they'd work well.
It smells
July 17, 2013
Well, first of all, I have to say it does the job, block out the lights.BUT, it's been more than a month since we hang them up, our bedroom still smells if we keep the door closed for a few hours. The smells of the panel just don't go away. ugh
does the job but smells

not sure why but it smells..... could anyone help me? is the smell toxic?.it;s also very very long but i love it

This is a nice curtain and blocks light reasonably well
March 27, 2017
This is a nice curtain and blocks light reasonably well. Found a different curtain elsewhere whose shade matches better and wanted to return this but it was half the price of what I paid just to ship it back! I'll be keeping this as a backup I guess. Good quality the color was just a little off for me.
Serves its purpose well.
August 10, 2016
I bought these mostly to keep the morning sun from shining into my office -- it gets VERY hot! It provides good sun blockage, so it's serving the purpose. I'm hoping that it will also serve as some insulation when winter comes (haven't tested that yet). I didn't expect magnificent quality, so I'm not disappointed. The curtains looks okay -- more than adequate for my office. I can't say that I'd recommend for the living or dining room though, IF you want something of quality. They look at little cheap. BUT, the panels are reasonably priced (especially for their size). I'd absolutely buy again as a sun blocker for my husband's office.
Blocks sun but does not provide darkness to the room.
February 3, 2016
This is a nice quality curtain. The material is soft, the color is true to pictures online and it is very wide and can cover a large window. The only problem I have is this is not a room darkening curtain. It does block the sunlight and keep heat from entering the room, however I needed complete or mostly darkness for my sons nursery.
Color doesn't match with other width curtains
March 13, 2015
Bought these curtains along with the "Best Home Fashion Olive Solid Grommet Top Thermal Insulated Blackout Curtain 52"W X 84"L 1 Pair - GT" which was the corresponding match and was what amazon recommends in that little box under the pictures. Love that they black out the sun well, and are nice fabric, but the color is NOT the same!! We ordered the olive green in both sets and these 100" wide ones are not the same as the 54" wide ones. The sage is more grey on these ones vs the 54" ones. Probably no one would notice, but I notice and will always see that they aren't the same color. At least they aren't on the same walls I guess...
The material is so nice and soft and didn't come wrinkled
October 21, 2014
The material is so nice and soft and didn't come wrinkled. It does block out light without the ugly plastic. The only issue I have is finding a rod that long that doesn't have a bracket in the middle that doesn't allow the curtain to run across. The one they sale with it doesn't work. Otherwise I would have given it a 5 star.
Purchased two. Different heights
April 2, 2014
Purchased two and one was drastically longer then the other. Cosmetically looked horrible in the room. Considering one end was hanging on the ground 4inchs and other 2inchs above the floor. When it comes to the length and height the attention to detail is horrible. Fabric was clean looking and appeared to the human eye very clean and sleek.Needed two on a single curtain rod for my home theater windows. :( cant hang them because it looks odd that one is longer then the other from the uneven dimensions. 50% chance it will be the correct curtains as described other 50% is the gamble for a miss subscribed manufacture product.

One panel for over $20. Definitely not a bargain
i liked them for about a month
April 20, 2017
i liked them for about a month, and then the loops broke off and won't slide open when letting light in.
I wanted to like these.
January 21, 2017
We have a huge picture window in our living room that gets a ton of afternoon sun. We have curtains that are beautiful with the sun streaming through them, but sometimes we just need to blot all that light out! So we purchased a few of these to hang behind our regular curtains. They do a good job blocking light. The view from outside is not the most attractive but we don't mind, The biggest issue I have with these is that the loops to hang these aren't sewn at the end of the panel - it is sewn a couple inches in. So that means the first (and last) couple inches of the panel fold and sag and look awful.I suppose I could sew on a ring or other loops myself to the end but really, should I have to?
They work, but ring-spacing is off and they are very heavy
March 31, 2016
First of all, the liner works well, blocking almost all the light that was getting through my patio-door curtain. If I rated it just on that, I would give it 5 stars. My biggest issues with this product are (1) that it was difficult to line up the rings with my grommet curtains, since it wasn't as simple as "every other slot", and ended up taking multiple tries to make it work since the spacing wasn't even for the grommet holes, so that it starts in the middle of two grommets for one ring and then by the time you get to the end you're directly over a grommet, and (2) these things are incredibly heavy -- so much so that I wasn't willing to put up two, which would be required to cover both sides of the patio door. Even with a center support, I was afraid it would pull the entire thing down. Currently I only have one side up and as soon as my muscles recover, I'm going to take it back down. Also, for some reason I thought I had read that the curtain does not come with rings, but it did and they are permanently attached to the little cloth hoops. I didn't need the shower curtain rings that I had bought.
Don't purchase - I tried, but they really do smell (very chemically smelling odor)
March 15, 2015
These worked fine the first month, then started smelling as some other reviews indicated. I washed them as some had said that stopped the smell, but it didn't for me. I don't like the chemical smell around my daughter as they are so sensitive. Wouldn't recommend.
Second thoughts about these liners - read my update
January 13, 2014
Great liners. They do an excellent job at blocking light, muffling some noise, and helping to retain heat. During this recent arctic blast, we experienced three days of -15 or colder, and these liners (with drapes) made it possible to stand next to the sliders in our bedroom without feeling the cold. I've already ordered more for regular windows in the house, and I'm going to order two pair of the longer ones for both sets of sliders so we can raise the rods higher and still have the drapes cover all of the glass.Edited January 27, 2014I originally gave these liners a 5-star rating. However, now that I have had them up for a couple of weeks I am editing my original review. After they had hung, covered by a drape for a few days, they started emitting that chemical foul odor that others have complained about. My eyes and throat actually burned from the chemical smell and I had to get up during the night and go and sleep in another room. They did not release that smell until we had a bright, sunny day and the heat from the sun hit the window -- I think the odor was trapped in between the liner and the drape. I had hung 2 more of the liners on the window in the bedroom, but those are not covered (yet) by a drape and as yet have not released an odor. At any rate, the liners are now in the wash, and I will hang them again as soon as they are dry. If I detect any odor after rehanging them, they are all going back to Amazon. I'll report back on my progress in a few days.

Mismatch panels.
May 10, 2016
Attempted to get matching panels but found out quality control is lacking - color vaguely the same, but texture, and darkening ability drastically different between the three panels I got. Even the length was not the same. Don't know what to advise here other than keep trying? to get panels that actually match. Really rather disappointing as first panel I got was rather nice - hope you end up with a similar one but rather doubt it.

Purchased two. Hem of each panel is uneven / not level, and worse, one panel is 3 - 4 inches shorter than the other. Shoddy craftsmanship with seams, and no quality control. Would not purchase again.
Prepare to hem!

Ordered these out of desperation for wide width curtains for mutiple windows in the same room. Ordered Beige and wish they were available in White with silver tone grommets, or in White or Ivory with rod pocket. They are definitely khaki color."Bronze" grommets don't match my nickel curtain harware. Super annoyed at the different lengths for the panels!

Bought one via one day free shipping and was happy. Bought another one via one day delivery because the first wasn't long enough to cover the entire sliding door. It came with a pen mark on it, so I asked for a replacement. It was autosomal automatically scheduled to come in a WEEK. Not the original agreement of one day. So, I had to return that one and buy another in order to get the one day shipping I get originally wanted. It came 2" longer the one original one I bought and looked obnoxious scrunched up on the floor.I'm so disappointed. I gave two stars because the first of three orders I was pleased with... didn't even bother ordering a 4th time. Will find another company.
Good Quality, but HOT
September 9, 2011
I bought this "Wide Width Grommet Top Thermal Blackout Curtain 100"W X 84"L Panel - Chocolate - BWW" to both block out the morning sun shining into a room and cut down on the heat caused by that sunshine (I'm in Florida, so the heat is a problem). This is a good quality curtain that looks almost exactly like the picture here on Amazon. I put the curtain up yesterday afternoon and was quite pleased with it. By noon today, however, I realized it wasn't performing properly. A minor issue is that even though the fabric is thick, it doesn't block out all the light that's directly shining on it. That's tolerable. However, the big problem is that this curtain is brown on BOTH sides. So, as the sun beats on the curtain, it absorbs almost all of that light energy and radiates it directly into the room as heat from the other side. The room now gets far hotter than it did with my old, regular, white-backed, curtains. If you live in a cooler climate or if you're not faced with direct sunlight, this curtain is probably a good bet for you (call it 4 stars out of 5). But, for me, I'll have to rate it at a pretty bad 2 stars out of 5 and see if Amazon will let me return them. For those not familiar with curtain measurements, I'll add something about how this curtain fit my window. The window in question measures about 79" W (outside edge of molding to outside edge of molding) by 85" H (top of curtain rod to floor). I figured that this one, single panel would be good enough since I hardly ever opened the old curtains. I was right. But, just barely. The height's not bad at all. But, you should be aware that the curtain extends about an inch above the grommet holes. So, that shortens the effective length just a bit. The bigger issue for me was that my curtain rod is about an inch in diameter. The 1.6" diameter grommets fit on the rod without problem, but they have to sit on the rod at an angle (weaving around the rod). With the wide rod, the grommets don't have much (any) play. The curtain fits the width. But, again, just barely. With a thin rod, the curtains would probably be adequate for another inch or two in width since they could lie flatter. But, in general, I'd consider my 79" W x 85" H window area to be the absolute maximum size that this panel will cover. It's not a problem. Just be aware of it.

Stinks! Literally!

These curtains stink! There is a horrible smell coming from these things whenever the temperature goes above 80. I've washed them twice now with no luck. It sort of smells like wet dog, and is overwhelming.

Horrible smell! My daughter's window gets the morning Florida sun and the curtains keep the light out but emit a overpowering odor that fills the entire upstairs. It gives me a headache and makes her unable to sleep!
Smell really bad

These were great at significantly reducing the amount of light in the room, but the smell was so nauseating that I had to return them. The room was about 15'x 15' and if I left the door shut, there would be an overpowering heavy chemical odor. They work as advertised, but the smell was unbearable.
Chemical odor

I really cannot believe that more people have not complained about the smell. I had them up in my two young daughters' rooms for almost 2 weeks, and it never improved. The smell began to permeate the entire house, and I was getting headaches nearly every day. I felt like they were poisoning our entire family! I had to get them out of our house.
they stink!!!

This product does what it is supposed to do but it has a terrible odor that doesn't go away. It is nauseating. It is impossible to sleep in a bedroom with this smell. We took them off, eventually, and the smell dissipated. Cheap product, you get what you pay for.

Fabric quality is good but it doesn't help as much any more
September 11, 2016
Product image is very mis-leading. The color is much darker than the picture and the size is off (smaller). Fabric quality is good but it doesn't help as much any more.
Very unhappy customer!
October 14, 2015
I bought two 100 x 84 inch curtains for French doors and they are terrible. Once hung, we realized one touched the floor and one did not, so we measured them. One is 83 1/2 inches and the other is 85 inches! Not a pretty picture.
Looks cheap, silky fabric, attracts hair
April 8, 2015
Had to return right away! These curtains are very "silky" looking - with a sheen to them. No pleats & cheap looking. the fabric attracts hair & dust to stick to it --EEEEK!Yes, they help darken a room & that's about all.The brown/chocolate color is just not pretty - very drab!

Bought 2. One is fine, the other is a full 2" shorter with a very uneven hem. They're supposed to be the same drape! So one is defective. Wonderful.
Crooked

Fabric was OK - problem was in the curtain length - I ordered 2 of these for the patio door in my bedroom - both were at least 1" to 1 1/2" shorter on one end of the panel than the other - a problem with quality control I suspect - Amazon was super about the return.
Avoid

The 2nd time I washed these I let them soak a couple hours. The grommets RUSTED and left stains on the curtain. I tried 2 different washings w/ stain remover and there are still stains. WHY would they make a washable product w/ grommets that rust??? Not too logical. If you buy these, DO NOT let them sit in the water. As far as the actual curtain material, it is durable, hangs nice & insulates well.
