It arrived very quickly and as I was putting it together I noticed the right bottom piece had a couple of small scratches. I called the company and they took care of my concerns and set out a replacement. It was very easy to put together in under 15 minutes. I agree it is not very sturdy and at first I had our 48" LCD TV on the stand and it appeared to bit a bit heavy so I switched it out with one of our 48" LED TV's and it is perfect.
