I wore suspenders as a child and putting on a pair now felt a little nostalgic. Being this is my first outing with the Dockers brand suspenders they wore comfortably, were easy to attach and adjust.. The neutral Khaki color wears well with a variety of outfits. Maybe you're looking for a change from the waist belt and belt loop routine, give these a try. A pair in your wardrobe would come in handy in case of a belt or belt loop failure.

I'm a very large man (6'2", 320lbs) and these are one of the highest quality suspenders I've used - they hold my pants well, don't slip, and never got uncomfortable. The clamps look similar to another relatively cheap pair I've purchased but these hold much better and don't feel as flimsy. I'll update this in a few months if I can remember.

Very nice but after wearing for a few weeks the clips started failing. This is especially frustrating as you either have to get someone to re-clip or lower your pants. Disappointed they do not grip better.

These are snappy looking, hold up well under daily use, and look great in the navy color. "Tough tested" by hubby, shopped for by me. :)

great product. This is the third set of dockers suspenders that I have bought -- not because they failed, but because it is easier to have a few and not have to keep changing from pants to pants. What I like is that they are not too big, but very effective in keeping the pants up. Also like the nylon round disc in the heads of the clamp -- seem to hold tightly yet NOT damage the fabric. Very good product

I thought that these were better than expected. They hold well, are well made, and look good. I will buy these again.

Just what I was hoping for. The clips seem ok, but it helps to lock them down pretty tight to avoid slipping.

Loved it but husband needed something to hold up his pants, he is using it and enjoying it. Will order again, this time I plan to keep it.

I purchased the Women's Basic Elastic Suspenders because I'm a little thick around the middle (on a diet & -10 lbs so far) and my pants tend to roll down and a belt is usually a little uncomfortable. Theses are doing a great job as I no longer have to adjust my pants every 3 minutes. I absolutely love these and recommend these to anyone with the same problem.

I was in desperate need of some suspenders to hold up my work pants. My job is very active and these have held up (pun intended) very well!

Bought a pair for my husband and myself. We farm full time, and so we will not be pulling up our pants all the time now. These adjust beautifully. The snaps are great quality. The straps are long enough for the tallest or shortest person. A true one size fits all. Do not hesitate on this if you need them. This one is the ticket.

This is just what I was looking for and so reasonably priced you can afford to have several different colors! The grippers are very sturdy; you don't need to worry about the grippers popping loose. The inside of the gripper is plastic, not metal, so you don't have to worry that it will tear holes in the fabric of your pants. I like the 'X' design that has two grippers in the front and two in the back, so that when you are sitting in a hard-backed chair you don't have that metal clasp digging into the middle of your backbone.

The clasps are pretty strong: I didn't give myself enough length during my first try-on, and ended up nearly giving myself a wedgie, rather than having a strap unclip itself or fly off. The suspenders are pretty easily adjustable, as well.

its just generic material, but it wont break on you anytime soon and is adjustable. its slightly difficult to align the silver parts.

Seems solidly constructed, and the clamps hold on tight without slipping. The length adjustment bars maybe aren't the greatest, but that's pretty much what you expect on any set. I would buy these again.

We used these suspenders for a Halloween costume and were happy with them for this purpose. My husband is 6'2 and 200 pounds and they expanded to fit him well.

I've just begun wearing suspenders and have had a lot of trouble finding something comfortable, functional and that look good. Even though these are a touch short for me (I'm 6 ft, 300 pounds) and I would prefer something a little narrower, they are the best I've tried so far. The clips are far superior to the half a dozen other types I've tried. This is the first suspender that DID NOT pop off my pants while I was wearing them. These are X suspenders and I prefer Y. If I could find some Y suspenders with the same clips as these and were a little narrower, that would be perfect.

I liked these a lot, but unfortunately i left them on the floor one day and the clasp broke.

the color isnt as vibrant as shown and the clasps are very hard to open (so hard to open i had to pry them open with scissors). i assume theyll get easier to open over time the more i wear them, but im not too worried about it. id rather have strong clasps than weak ones that wont stay clipped to my pants, which has almost always been the case with all my other pairs of suspenders. overall a good product. thanks!

I'm on a strict diet with a goal of losing at least 60 pounds. I'm retired so I'm not looking to make any fashion statements and I can't afford to keep replacing my sweat pants and jeans every time I drop a size so these are the perfect solution. My only complaint is that the adjustment clips were so hard to close that I finally had to use a pair of pliers. On a brighter note, I sure don't miss having to keep pulling my pants up every time I walk around the house or get on the treadmill.

mine have one adjuster that holds very well and one that can be loosened by a little extra tugging on the strap, after only 8 hours of use out of the package. not a heavy-duty option, but then you didn't really expect it to be (right?)i like the wide variety of color options. the X-back style suspenders mean you can sit without a clip digging into your spine. speaking of the clips, they seemed pretty strong when I briefly tested them.overall I like them but the one weak adjuster makes me sad.

I bought five colors to have fun accessorizing. Suspenders are timeless and fun colors make them special.Three are the same type of elastic (Khaki, Medium Grey & Sky Blue), but the Peach & Ivory pairs are a lot less stretchy. Lovely color, but only about half the give as the other three. It feels like a lower quality product, but still OK. Also, the note says that the Khaki pair has brass clips ... not mine. It has nickel They all have nickel clips.All-in-all, I like 'em. Good value and looking forward to working them into my office wardrobe.

Basically a child's suspender set sold as one size fits all. Nice suspenders but not adequate for adult wear.

My husband likes these suspenders. But, when they are new, they are very hard to do/undo. And then when they become easier to use, they don't stay attached after about 3 months. Even so, we purchased again because he likes the way they look.

Decent quality and looks good. Dad likes them so much that he's worn them every single day for the last year, but the elastic has started to stretch and show elastic threads coming out, after less than a year. His old ones (sorry, I don't know what brand), lasted several years, before showing this much wear.

The suspenders were nice and comfortable for the first two weeks, after that one of the frontal clips started to un-clip and it was impossible to use them for more than an hour without having to re-attach it.

These are difficult to attach securely. The crocodile fasteners are too small and don't have much clamping force. I also bought a e=set of Dickies and they are much better.

I bought these because of the design of the clips. I wear suspenders every day and the "no-slip" clips with a pin in them that so many other suspenders use tear up the waistband of a pair of slacks pretty quickly. These do not have pins in the clips, just plastic designed to hold by the strength of the clip. I know that the clips will lose strength over time and start to slip, but it's cheaper to replace suspenders than buy several pairs of pants because of shredded waistbands. The elastic on these suspenders and the adjustment clips are somewhat cheaply-made, but the suspenders look nice and do the job they're supposed to do and for the price I paid, that's about as much as I could ask.

I like them, however after using them for a couple weeks, they started to slip off which is really embarrasing when you have them under your clothes holding up your leggings LOL and all of a sudden you hear a noise and see a .. something slide up your shirt. . Not cute. From now on I think I'll just spend the extra $10 and get leggings with belt loops.. but if you're only going to wear these once in a while.. and only for that cute slack white shirt look.. then by all means. I'll probably still do that, just don't NEED them to keep your leggins up.

Mostly keep my pants up but clips have failed a few times. They are a little stiff. I think I would have been better pleased with narrower ones.

the clips need to have something on the back of them so they can be worn against the skin.. I have glued on soft vecor.. no woman wants to wear these on the outside...

Bought these for my wife and they ruined her dress shirt with the metal part that's used for adjustments. It's fairly sharp edged and after a day of wear it just rips the fabric. Polyesters or silk will get destroyed with these.

A bit heavy, but these are hard to find so I went for it; not sorry.

I am pregnant and have been looking for a way to hold my pants up into 2nd trimester. These work okay, but the adjusting clips in the front aren't really sturdy and one bent out of shape immediately as I tried to adjust it. I got it back into shape and working again, but not really thrilled at how flimsy it was. I didn't end up using these suspenders much as I found them kind of a pain to take on and off in winter time when you're wearing layers and want to hide these underneath. I ended up using belly bands instead.

After just a couple wearing the clip gives and comes off. Useless if they don't stay on.

The left front clip will not stay closed. It pops loose about once an hour.

These are my first suspenders and I loved them from the start, UNTIL 6 weeks later. The clips would come loose and pop from my waist at terrible times. It is very embarrassing when the let go and pants are no longer supported. I was uncertain at first about wearing them and found myself looking good with them on. I won't wear them anymore due to this issue and I am beyond time to return for refund. I have only had them 6 weeks. I do NOT recommend them.

These are narrower than the more typical 1.5 inch and the khaki is quite pale, more like a light tan. The clips are very small and unlikely to withstand much stress. These might be good as a decorative accessory for women, but not useful for me. I'm sending them back. I recently bought a pair with the identical name from Amazon which I liked so much I thought I'd buy another. Very disappointing.

The clasps on these suspenders are way too weak. I found myself constantly re-attaching the clasps after as short as a half hour and after using them for only a couple of days.Pros: They look good, are effective in holding your pants up, the clasps are plastic so they don't rip or pierce your clothingCons: Clasp is so week you will need to re-attach them constantly

I like suspenders, so I wear them when I can. I ordered these because my wife thought I should have something slightly more dressy than my usual rainbow suspenders when I'm out and about (I'm a professional clown, so suspenders are often part of my wardrobe). So I got these Dockers. They would be OK, but the clips are small, making them difficult to clip and VERY hard to unclip. Had to send them back. I got a pair of 2-inch black suspenders from a clown site and my wife is happy (sort of).

okay. not that functional sort of works. seems a little flimsy, if you are using it to hold pants up

It looks cute, but the only problem that I have is with the clips. I can not adjust it. it stays loose and cant be adjusted.

these suspenders shred really bad for no reason

The very day I wrote about how much I liked these suspenders they broke.They were comfortable and I did enjoy wearing them but they did not last long at all.I would not buy them again.

Not what I was looking for. I needed something larger.

These suspenders were not what I was expecting. They are thick and heavy and really quite big. The suspenders are at least an inch to an inch and a half wide. They were also not very comfortable.

Three of the four metal clamping mechanisms came apart as I removed the item from the bag. At $14 it's not worth the time or effort to send back for a refund. I threw the item in the trash.

I'm surprised that these suspenders got a good rating. They're crap. I could live with everything else. But plastic teeth? Why did they make them with plastic teeth?Today, day 5. They are already pulling free when I bend over to pick something up off the floor. And not just once. I refastened and tried several times. These crappy suspenders are already useless. Not only will I never buy them again, but I will also not buy ANYTHING from a vendor willing to dump this garbage on their unsuspecting customers.Great if you want to wear them to a wedding and toss them in the trash afterwards.

Cheap. Clasp broke on the first wear. I wasn't expecting a miracle for $15, but they lasted about 6 hours.

Purchased these for an elderly aunt (79), who has a severe curvature of her spine, making it difficult to find pants/slacks that will stay up. Unfortunately, the clasps were too difficult for her to open. Gave them to my dad, who also could not get these open (he's 80). I then gave them to my husband (57) to try and open and he couldn't. I tried and after several attempts, was able to get one side open. For younger/nimble fingered individuals, they would be fine. But for older, arthritic/weaker hands, they are a no-go.

Every once and a while you run across something that's just junk; this is one such item. Right out of the package, one of the snap closures just fell apart. After trying several times to put it back together, I was successful. The snap closure would never be the same however, and I decided just to scrap it all together. If I could rate this zero stars, I would have.

The suspenders themselves are fine, but the hardware isn't good. The adjustable buckles don't hold, and the clip-on part doesn't last. Didn't even get a month out of them before a clip broke. Also chairs easily unbuckle them.

One of the clasps completely came apart within 4 hours of wearing it for the first time. After reading so many positive reviews, I expected much better. Very disappointed.

I don't like the way this was packaged. It didn't come like most of the suspenders I've purchased. This one was more rolled up and just thrown into a empty package. The clips are ver hard to release.

The metal clips to set strap length come unfastened far too easily. Forever not doing the intended job. May go to JC Penny so that I can SEE the adjustment setting.

I can't get the clasps open, so I can't wear the suspenders and I regret that I've bought them. It's cheap quality, and you get what you pay for.
