Side by Side Comparison of: Harris Engineering vs Harris vs PWS vs Vortex Optics

Been using Harris bipods since the early 80's and this one is that same or maybe better quality.

Great bipod, really like the way it adjusts and everything about it. However, if I could go back, I would get the one with a swivel feature. I gave this 5 stars because it is exactly what is advertised and does a great job for its intentions.... but my advice to anyone looking at bipods is to really sit down with their gun, in the setup they're looking to use it and then determine what length you want and if you need the swivel feature.

Great bipod. If you are concerned about exact level, get the HBR. This one only adjusts in 1" increments.

Generally with a Harris Bipod you can't go wrong. This was no exception. Installation on my Keystone/Revolution Extreme stock for 10/22 took seconds. It clipped to the sling stud easily. It tightened quickly and securely. It provides a nice firm rest. As I shoot mostly from the bench this bipod allows me to dispense with the bag rest. One less thing to carry which is good.

I love this bipod. Made in USA, used by a military sniper, (ultimately, his review prompted me to buy these over all the other ones on Amazon) and super high quality construction. I've been shooting for 5 years, and while I'm not a professional, I know a good setup when I see one. Perfect for setting up beautiful shots without having a sandbag set up. The springs in each foot make for an affirmative "click" as the shoot the feet to the max setting. I've laid in the dirt shooting and loved this bipod so much, I got my dad one. Honestly, if you are going to be doing any shooting, get a bipod. Not any bipod, however. Spend the extra few bucks to get a quality made, sturdy product that will last as long as your gun. Nothing Chinese-e about this bypod. Well made of very good materials. Installed easily on my sr-556. I used the adapter below andit was a good match. Durable. Stable. Screw does come loose after about 20 shots. I am gonna put some lock tite on it.

First off, spend the money and get a harris. The reason that most gun products are more expensive is because they really are better. This product is easy to use and light weight in my opinion. I took this out to do a quick zero on my ar. The only problem I had was with the tension screw which holds it tight to the rifle. It kept coming loose from the recoil. I have now put some locuts on it waiting to go back out and shoot out again. Overall great product.

Does the job but for an AR I'd definitely get one with the rail attached. After couple rounds the nut screw backs off and becomes wobbly. Kinda old to shoot a couple times then retighten it. Don't feel like using loctite

Great product. I had some difficulty getting the right adapter (you do need and adapter) to mount it on an AR-15 fitted with Magpul MOE hand guard. The hand guard made it impossible to attach the bipod on the existing sling mount fixture

I highly recommend purchasing the model that swivels if you are shooting long range!

Got it for a varmint rifle. I was better off using my backpack as a rest. I will say that it's well built. Live and learn.

Overrated. Cheap looking metal and finish considering it is made in the US. Pass. No thanks and instead i bought this bipod: Professional Tactical Precision BT10-LW17 Bipod w/ Standard Picatinny Mount

I purchased this bipod for an A 10 build. It works well. You have to buy an adapter for the keymod rail in order for it to fit. I used Impact weapons components "KeyMod Bipod MOUNT-N-SLOT". I paid $10 for it on there site.

Got the bipod very pleased and solid, but one of the spring legs don't lock all the way when I press the button. Have to physically pull it till it locks/clicks in to the full 9" length and it agrvates me. I should be able to press the button and both legs should shoot out and go to full extension with no problems. Mabe I got a defective one but still not happy with that. Will be sending it back or selling this one to get a new one and "hopefully" won't have this same issue. 3 star's

I'm not sure if this bipod isn't rated for a .308 or what, but I couldn't find anything anywhere as far as what caliber rating this bipod is for. It works great, except that the screw comes loose in under 20 rounds and I have to re-tighten it. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or this thing just can't handle .308.

Sent it back. Too old school for the money. They fit to base,but not well. It is not worth the money. I will shot with sticks if needed or find a quick rest.

I do not like it... this was sent to me by mistake... I have tried them before... Go with the 1A2 solid base 6-9
