Having said that, it's good quality for a bipod at that price. I bought this to put on my "range AR-15" (the one I take out most often just to practice with). I installed a forward sleeve with picatinny rails on all four sides and this bipod fits snug on the bottom rail. It's light, easy to adjust and for range shooting it supports the AR very steady. I will use it a few more times at my range and will revise this if I have any problems with it. So far, after two trips to the range, I am pleased with it for the purpose I bought it. May order a couple more if it holds up after a few more uses. the height is perfect. If you want a solid and cheap method ...April 20, 2015 This is a very solid bi-pod. Some customers claim that the legs have a bit of play when placed in open/operable position. This is understandable as this has quick release buttons and internal springs... so the tolerances allowed from quick breakdown provide just enough space (few millimeters) to give a slight wobble.. not a big deal at all if you have any experience with similar products. After attaching the bi-pod to a .308 PTRSCCR and expending several mags down range, the bi-pod held its own quite well. The extensions leave a little to be desired, but from a prone or sitting position, the height is perfect. If you want a solid and cheap method for maintaining long distance targets... don't hesitate to purchase this item.. If purchased through ARMSTAC, you should expect the best service (as identified through my seller review). Great quality looks greatMarch 27, 2015 Impressed! Works greatApril 21, 2015 Ordered 2. Tried them at the range, both on AR15's. They mount tight to the rail, no wobble. Adjustments are easy, legs spring out and can be set anywhere in between. | Works great but it doe not mount level on the picatinny ...July 8, 2016 Works great but it doe not mount level on the picatinny rail. I have to extend one leg about half an inch to make it level. solid material, but a chore to operate.May 23, 2016 the bipod it self is fine, but I feel like the operation is a little clunky. trying to open and close it can be a bit of a chore, the little wheels on the side have to be loosened before opening or closing it and then re-tightened when closing it. I feel that should be an un- necessary action. Also it took me a good few minutes to figure out how the thing worked, a small instruction page would be nice. It's OKMay 13, 2016 I wanted a taller bipod for an AR so that it would fit a 30 round magazine so I ordered this. It's not the smoothest operating device, tends to stick in both the open and folded positions and is difficult to get to release. Height is good and clears the 30 round magazine as intended, but I think I'll look for a different one that functions smoother. Do not buy.May 8, 2015 Good mounting base. Love the thumb screws. But the sliding legs that are supposed to be lockable by the lower thumb screws do not work at all. If you tighten em down as tight as it can be (even with vise grips) the legs slide back up, so its either duct tape em or solder/weld the legs fully out or leave em be at the lowest setting. My product arrived in what seems to be ...September 27, 2016 This arrived today, shipping was fast...that is the good. My product arrived in what seems to be a "used and returned" condition. One of the rubber feet was rubbed excessively and torn....rubber "powder" was present in the bag and box in which it arrived. Mechanics of the bipod seem to be exactly what I was looking for, simple, sturdy and solid. I just wish I had received a "new" one. The bottom part of the leg, the retractable part. Started getting stuck half way out. I would not recommend this for an investment. | Product review, ouch!!!August 2, 2017 Product arrived on time, also arrived with numerous scratches.(clearly used, not new) Product legs wouldn't open. This product could use a update, also the company should be ashamed trying to pass off used items as new. I would not recommend this product to anyone until the company decides to change their way of thinking. I have pics but app wouldnt allow me to attach for some reason.
