They seem to work well.
October 11, 2017
Excellent bottle caps at an affordable price. You can preserve the oxygen absorbing capacity of the caps by putting them in a ziplock bag (I use the the ziplock freezer bags which are rated for this high of temperature) before adding them to heated water for sterilization. You don't need to bring the water all the way to a boil, just look up some pasteurization temperature time charts.
Good bottle caps

They're good caps. Make a good seal and work as expected. What more can you ask for?

Good caps

Used quite a few of these and they work very well.
Great Frat House GAMES
April 8, 2017
I've been snapping these across the frat house and haven't hit a dang thing. Are they faulty? Nope. User error. Turns out these go on the top of bottles. I'm embarrassed.
Silver bottling caps - they work fine. Normal size.

They are beer bottling caps, silver, normal size.

Here, hold my beer
May 26, 2016
They keep my homebrew from spilling, there isn't much to a bottle cap honestly. But they do their job.
Great for home-brewing
January 29, 2016
My fiance has started home-brewing so we needed caps that are oxygen absorbing. We had tried another brand before I purchased these. So far, they have worked out perfectly. We have not had any defective caps and they seal great. I would highly recommend these bottle caps, especially for the price. They arrived quickly too.
I love these guys!
June 5, 2014
Ritebrew makes a very easy to use bottle cap. After probably 100 bottles of homemade brew, I haven't had a single cap fail its seal. These guys keep a good seal, and I'm a believer in the oxygen absorption after I aged some lager for 3 months, and not a single bottle went malactic. The caps take permanent marker ink nicely, too.
Never had a bad capping!
May 18, 2014
These seal excellently, and they're a great price! I'll be buying these again, I believe. They seal very easily.I actually had a friend who tried to convince me I was going to have to cap from multiple angles to ensure a solid seal, but I think his capper or caps are just bad. These work great! No extra effort needed.
Perfect for homebrewing.
January 7, 2014
Work well, used on last batch of homebrew, easy to use. Convenient way to buy. I saved and cleaned old beer bottles, these work perfectly on them.
Great caps for a great price
December 12, 2013
They do the job. Have not had any loose once capped. Every brew I have made with these came out great. Just remember to sterilize them before capping! =]

Good bottles. Handle sharpies for dates well. Currently using it for kombucha.
non O2 absorbing caps are equally as good for someone considering dipping caps in a sanitzing solution ...
April 5, 2016
Caps does what is designed to do. Keeps the CO2 tight and leak free upon capping for prolonged period of time. Only reason i gave 4 start is that i recently read from a some article advising that O2 absorbing caps works as claimed; but, that capcity only lasts very briefly. By the time caps are sanitized (soaked in sanitize solution), O2 aborbing function is far gone when it's time for capping. So, non O2 absorbing caps are equally as good for someone considering dipping caps in a sanitzing solution prior to capping to save some $$.
Works perfectly!

bottle caps

The caps are "universal", I guess. I did have to have a friend give me the instruction/hint of warming each cap in simmering water for 10 seconds to help it set easier. The caps then worked fine.
As expected, arrived on time.

Excellent caps
January 25, 2015
These are great little caps. I haven't really bought other caps, but these did a great job for being basic caps and you get a lot of them for the price.
Does The Job
August 26, 2014
They do the job. I use these to bottle Kombucha. I've had one or two bottles out of a batch of 50+ go bad. Not sure if it was my error or the bottle caps, but I'm going to assume it's my fault.
They ok bottle caps
September 7, 2013
Bottle caps work for the most part bottling home brew. Do get about 10% spinners out of the whole batch. But they are cheap and work for the most part.

Nothing wrong with the caps. The problem is with the description. Original labeling on package says oxygen barrier crown caps which is a lot different than the re -labeling which says oxygen absorbing.

December 19, 2016
Received caps and they appear okay, but the bag was open and caps were floating around in the packaging container. I bought these as a gift, so I hope they can be sterilized without issue, but I would have expected the bag to be sealed.

These work fine but tend to rust quickly if not dried after sanitizing. I left them sit overnight without drying them off and they all rusted around the edges. First time I've had bottle caps do that.

Long necks: Yes, Short necks: No
November 29, 2015
They seem to work well on most standard long necks and bombers but they are worthless on short neck bottles like the ones you'd get from Founders or Sierra Nevada. When used on those bottles they either won't crimp at all or the crimp is off/uneven and the cap can be removed with your thumb. They also don't work on Corona bottles like other caps I've had have.EDIT: I got to thinking that maybe it wasn't the caps and maybe it was the capper.I was using one of the Red Baron models(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001D6KGTK?keywords=bottle%20capper&qid=1451926369&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1) and the caps wouldn't seal evenly or tightly.Thinking this I ordered a Rigamonti capper and this one seems to do the job.(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001D6KGTK?keywords=bottle%20capper&qid=1451926369&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1).With the Red Baron model I tended to have the best luck with the silver caps for some reason.

Great product. Had some trouble capping though. This could have been user error too. I'd buy these again.
Not gold as another mentioned
October 22, 2012
As someone else mentioned in the reviews, these are not gold caps, but otherwise they're good caps at a good price. I can't get these any cheaper locally and the packaging did include some pinholes from the caps themselves, but honestly, it's fine, as someone else mentioned, the oxygen absorbing part only works when exposed to liquid.
They are caps(silver not gold)
September 18, 2012
Picture and description implies gold tops. I got a bag of silver tops with a label saying gold on the bag. I tried a few and they do seem to function fine but had to go buy golds locally for more $$$. I won't be ordering these again.
Spinning bottle caps
April 6, 2012
I just started using these bottle caps about a month ago so I'm not real familiar with the longevity of the product. The bottle caps seal but you can twist them after you cap the bottles. It doesn't seem like they're leaking because I held one under water to make sure. Anyway the beer bottles seem to have carbonated but we'll see what happens in the future.

Caps work great but package was short about 40 caps
August 23, 2016
Caps work very well and seal nicely. My first round of bottling I capped 59 bottles. After washing my bottles I took a look at my cap stash and thought I should count them before I get started. Only 40 caps remained but I had only used roughly 60 of them. My package was missing about 40 bottle caps.
Holes in the bag
July 28, 2014
The caps were good, but there were many holes in the bag they arrived in, so whatever "oxygen-absorbing" power they had was long gone by the time I got them.

First time I have ever had a bottle break happened while using these caps. They just don't seem to fit correctly. As of now, not a single bottle has carbonated with these caps on them. Others from the same batch have, underolder caps I had laying around.

Not as advertised.
February 24, 2016
These are not oxygen absorbing caps. They are oxygen barrier caps. A barrier prevents new oxygen from getting in. Absorbing removes the oxygen that is already there. That is not the same thing.
Worthless caps
August 23, 2015
Terrible; do not buy this junk. They do not seal, all spinners.
