A Must Have! Great Product!!!
February 21, 2017
Got it for my aging Mom and she calls me every few weeks to tell me how much she loves it. I was going to get one for my husband but he said he wanted one that heats the water since we live in a cold climate. So, I splurged and bought one of those fancy Japanese toilet seats on bidetking.com it was like $300 though so, if you don't care about unheated water then I would go with this one. This is also a great product if you don't have an electrical outlet near your toilet. It is non electrical so you don't have to worry about power outages or plugging it in. The fancy Japanese one I bought my husband has to be plugged in so we have an unsightly cord going behind the toilet across the bathroom. This bidet is such a good price and low maintenance I recommend it to anyone! Especially if you have an aging parent who lives in a warm climate. This bidet is really great for the price and doesn't require electricity so I kinda wonder why doesn't everyone already have one of these? It's
Freedom . . From TP! Join the Revolution
November 28, 2015
First of all, let me preface this by saying I already am a very happy owner of the Luxe Bidet and when the company offered to send me the updated version for free for testing, I has more than happy to do so.I would unhesitantly rate this a 5/5 or even a 10/10.And so without further ado:I've always disliked using TP since I first came to the US, growing up and having lived in India and Europe, I always enjoyed using bidets and have always found them cleaner and well, nicer. So when I bought my first home here in the US I installed bidets in all my bathrooms - I was intrigued by this design and I bought one (for the remaining bathrooms I bought hand-held style bidets that I was more used to). Now, having grown up using bidets of many different styles, I have to say, this design is simply marvelous, gets the job done cleanly, without any fuss and your rear will be ever so thankful you installed this. Plus at this price, you'll likely recoup the cost through the replacement/minimization of TP in your bathroom.Ships in a compact box, the install is trivial - likely a 5-15 minute job and you will be set. Protip: A quick clean of the bidet nozzle when you leave your toilet is all you need to do.I believe once you use this bidet, you too will be a convert to the TP-free revolution!
Excellent product, value and customer service

This bidet is wonderful. I was skeptical but, all the good reviews gave me the incentive to try it. I will admit to making my poor husband try it first though. I was worried that the water would be too cold. It wasn't at all. It's quite cleansing and refreshing to use. We have greatly cut down on toilet tissue. Hygiene wipes are now unnecessary. It installed in just 5 minutes or so quite easily. I even have a raised toilet seat due to bad knees and this went on without a problem. I'm thrilled with the product in every way.5/20/16 Edit to add: I recently lost the nozzle cap to the sprayer. It apparently fell off and was flushed down the toilet. I contacted the Luxe Co. by email. They responded within a few minutes and shipped me out a new nozzle cap at no charge. It arrived on the second day and solved my problem. Wonderful company to deal with. I have just ordered another bidet. Can't recommend these or this company enough.
I LOVE IT!

First, I will say I received this product free for a review. That said, I would gladly have paid for this product and still have given it 5 stars.I have 4 toilets in my house, 3 now have bidets like this one. 3 different brands and installed over a 1 year period. I cannot figure out how I went so long without these. I started with one when I injured my arm and, well to be blunt, wasn't able to clean well. I loved it and got the second and couldn't refuse when offered this one.Pros: cleans well very low water usage excellent pressure dial so you can get as light or as vigorous as you want/needCons: and this is true of ALL of them but I didn't think about it before my first purchase, no temperature control...you get cold water. Not major if you use it briefly but if you want to keep using it, especially in the winter, well... My husband doesn't like them because of that but I find it pleasant and even a bit refreshing. And, if you have never used a bidet, it does wash you with water. Use the toilet paper to dry off. In fancy hotels, they give you a towel, but that just seems excessive to me!
Revealed "Issue" with this product!
November 3, 2010
I read all the reviews, and decided after weighing all the similar products, to purchase this one.And I am not sorry! You are reading these reviews, because YOU, (Yes YOU!) are very interested in one of these.Other people wouldn't care one bit. They probably think you are "different" for even wanting one of these in the first place. Butt, whether you're undecided or not, you'll see....you're going to get this one. Here's something on the "mechanics" side...These install so easily, you will think you are leaving some important step out! "What? That's It??"I was concerned the unit may leak at the water source junction, but that is very secure, strong and tight!I installed my unit, And immediately enjoyed the comfort and relief it provides. You'll see. You won't even wait til you have to go, before testing! Ha, ha!You can't really call it a "Dry Run" though. My wife regularly invades my bathroom now. "Go get yer own, ya little scalliwag!" "Aaarrr!"OK, I'm gonna have to get a second one!Alas, after a week, the retractable squirter part, developed a slow drip into the toilet bowl. Nothing bad!I called 2Go Products, (the company who makes and distributes these), and they assured me, this drippage is NOT normal even after time. They rushed me a new unit! All expenses paid! I live in Hawaii too! Most companys get all weird when they hear this. "We ship to the lower 48 states only, Dude!"But not 2Go products!! They were great! I'm sure you can depend on them too! This fact should help you in your decision NO?Meanwhile, being the master mechanic I am, I took apart the non-working unit, and examined it.The unit is held together by small, self tapping screws that are the norm by todays standards.Neat, clean and tight assembly! These units are light weight in design, and built of simple parts. Simple is good! Especially around water! But, then I noticed, the 2 screws that hold the retractable sprayer housing onto the mounting frame, are well on their way into corrosion! The chrome plating on BOTH screws were already rusting through. (these screws are not stainless steel)Both screws were solid black from corrosion, and bleeding black into the surrounding plastic. This is from the normal caustic nature of urine. Surprisingly though, this happened in only 1 week of use! This in all probability is from the never ending story of...how should I say this??....GUY PEE splashing everywhere it shouldn't! Hey! I don't wanna hear no complaints! This is the Real World!NOTE: All other screws were new and untouched by corrosion, because there are no other screws over the toilet bowl area, only under the control panel, which is totaly out of harm's way!Look, you gotta understand, these products are brand new, never before on the market!I'm glad they designed and build these for the average Joe's pocketbook! Finally!I'm sure the manufacturer will quickly remedy this! They are "good people"!On the new unit they sent me, I simply sealed those 2 screws with clear silicone bathroom sealer. EASY!I Let it dry for the recommended time, and then installed the unit. Now, we're good to go! 5 STARS!
Many Surprising Advantages of Bidet
December 1, 2009
I had seen bidets in many hotels in the world but had never even got near one because I assumed that they were some exotic instrument just for French women. So with my cultural hangup, I was the least likely person to buy this product.Recently, a close relative unexpectedly sent me the URL to this product. I was surprised at the overwhelming 5 stars reviews so on a whim I ordered one.It was an easy installation (e.g. see my customer pictures) that took about 20 minutes. One shortcut is to not use the metal braided hose that they send to you but just keep your metal hose attached to the wall shutoff valve and attach the other end of your hose to the "T" connection that comes with the bidet. All connections to the "T" are done by hand pressure alone. There were no leaks on my first try.The bidet has a simple design and only two moving parts, one of which is the valve. The other moving part is the bidet head which is retracted in the white pipe projecting downwards into the toilet. This head only pops downward when the valve is turned on and so is kept clean & pristine in its protective white pipe sheath. The manufacturer has used a premium grade of tough engineering plastic for both the seat attachment as well as the white plastic hose that leads from the "T" to the bidet valve. To make a neat connection, I shortened the white hose that came with the bidet. That hose was so tough that it resisted a very sharp razor knife. I have no worries that this tube will ever break. My toilet is surrounded by walls on three sides so I had to get uncomfortably close to the front of the toilet to do the installation. Therefore, you may want to clean the toilet so it is fresh before beginning the installation. If you can access the valve side of the toilet, then you will not have to get so close.I have used it for several weeks and can not say enough for it. Here is a list of advantages that come to mind.1) Financial: I was always a heavy toilet paper user and now just use one sheet to blot off the water. The saving in toilet paper per year will be about $31 so the bidet is giving you a tax-free return of 43%. Compare that to the current yield of money market funds of 0.01%. The bidet will pay for itself in a few years.2) Cleanliness: If you had some mud on your driveway, would you run to get some newspapers to smear it off or would you just pick up your garden hose and wash it off? The bidet is remarkably effective and you come away spotlessly clean. It takes a week or so to learn the best techniques, e.g., slight tilt sideways, back & forth, etc.3) Cold vs Warm water: This bidet hooks up to your cold water outlet on the wall. You could run a longer flexible hose to a hot water connection if your sink was adjacent to the toilet. However, you will find that the water in the water pipe leading to the toilet has sat there for some time and has come up to room temperature. So there is no need for a hot water connection.4) Speed: Cleaning up only takes a few seconds without even standing up and is much faster than toilet paper. So you save time when you are rushed in the morning.5) Mechanical Simplicity & Ruggedness: The design of this bidet is very straightforward so that the chance of a mechanical malfunction is very low. It was made of premium engineering plastics so corrosion is impossible and breakage is unlikely.

Heaven in my bowl (tmi alert...)
September 18, 2017
I love my bidet. Yes, love. I'm an American who never knew the pleasure of a truly clean bum. For the last two and a half years, I've had a painful rash that bled down below. The doctors I saw said nothing could be done apart from losing a lot of weight. This is fine and dandy, except walking or jogging often made me bleed more, and caused terrible pain. I ruined more than one set of good undies this way. I tried so many things, from creams, steroids, essential oils (BAD idea... Especially the peppermint.. ouch.), Wipes... I was basically resigned to a life of stinging, painful sitting, walking, laying down, existing, etc...Now what has this to do with a bidet? Finally, I was reading yet another article that claimed to have a solution. It suggested a bidet. I cautiously bought one, thinking it couldn't hurt...Oooooooohhh man. The first time I used my Astor Bidet, my bum informed me that I had a new bestie. This last month has been the lowest pain I've experienced in two and a half years. Now for the review of the product:Easy to install. Took me less than 5 minutes. It does raise your toilet seat up. Mine is plastic, no big deal. Were my throne cover ceramic, I would need spacers. The two lowest settings don't do anything. It's about the third click that the wonderful stream starts. Top setting feels like a forceful enema from a shotgun.Even though the clicks designate the settings, the in betweens are just fine, and you can easily adjust between them.I don't really have a downside, this is my first bidet, so I'm not terribly versed in all the frills... One that dries might be nice one day, but for now, my bum is happy. My wife refuses to try it lol. I love it, and won't poop without it... Which she is strangely OK with.. something about me pooping in my own bathroom while she has her private one upstairs....
Excellent product

We became acquainted with bidets at the home of an acquaintance, so decided to get some for ourselves. We purchased one for each bathroom from Astor, after reading the information and reviews, and are happy we did. They arrived right on time, a friend of ours installed them for us and they work perfectly. I feel clean and fresh after bowel movements and use a lot less toilet paper, and therefore flush less. So this is good for the environment as well as being good for us! The low setting is what I recommend as being strong enough to do the job.
ONE GREAT PRODUCT
May 4, 2017
This is one great product! My husband just had back surgery so he can't twist or bend over which causes a real issue when he goes to the bathroom. Our son-in-law found the bidet on Amazon and ordered it, we got it quickly and he installed it in less then 15 minutes. You get a range of water pressure (as my husband puts it " from garden hose to fire hose." ) I love it too, it makes me feel clean and fresh.

This has been a game changer in my day to day life; in retrospect I may have spent more for the fancier ones on Amazon but this is worth the price and was easy to install and I have no wish to part this until it breaks or I get a place with a second toilet.
Very useful, hygenic and easy to isntall
March 3, 2013
This product is very easy to install and the instructions are clear. The price is very good. I did not use any Teflon tape for securing anything. The water comes out just right and a good angle. the pressure of the wash is adjustable. (TIP: use a lower pressure at the main valve for comfort). It cleans very well. Some splatter may happen initially in the back part oft he toilet seat. BE CAREFUL if you want to test it without sitting on it, as could go a long way! :) [I've used it for about 3 months now]

Definitely needed with the Luxe Bidet Neo 185. Once bidet is installed, toilet seat will be higher so these bumpers are applied to FLAT SURFACE of toilet seat and then it is level. If underside of toilet seat is not flat, you may need to change toilet seat. Well worth it.
Excellent product if you need a bumper
August 16, 2017
Strong 3M tape on the underside helps keep it in place. No noise or lid flexing when sitting on the toilet now. It seats the lid comfortably. Its use will depend on your toilet lid. This was a necessary add-on for one of your toilets when we installed the Luxe Bidet 180, but not for another toilet, which was by a different manufacturer and had a Luxe Bidet 120 installed on it.
As advertised perfect for application
August 6, 2017
theyre the perfect size for the bidet I installed, and is you dont have the controlled close lid like ours theyre a softer rubber and less likely to crack the seat having the 2 extra round ones add stability to front of seat for heavier people or if you install a bidet
Good to have around

glad these are available from Amazon. Made a bidet purchase and thought I would need it to level the seat after installation, but I did not. I am glad I had them on hand though. Will use them for another project.

Thumbs up!
August 7, 2017
I am a true believer in this product. The assembly was incredibly simple. Usually when the product advertisement says "easy assembly" that means it will NOT be easy for me. Fortunately in this case, seeing is believing. This product works just fine. The water pressure was surprisingly strong, I normally only use the lowest setting because the water spray is strong! I realize that this is a non-electric model therefore you do not get hot/cold temperature options for the water spray. Nevertheless, for the money spent and the easy assembly, this product is a winner in my book.
Inferior to the GenieBidet seat, but fits circular seats
May 24, 2017
I had the Ellegantz GenieBidet installed at my old place, but unfortunately my current place has a much shorter seat and the Genie wouldn't fit in it. I picked up this as a replacement.Compared with the GenieBidet, the installation was about as easy. Otherwise, I think the GenieBidet is better in every other way if you have an elongated toilet seat. The luxe's pressure is uncomfortably high even at middling settings, the aim is a bit off (I shifted the unit to be off-center to fix this), and the unit is more noticeable than the GenieBidet seat.I'm still giving it 4 stars because it does the job and fits my toilet, but if your toilet is more oval-shaped than circular I recommend the GenieBidet.

August 30, 2016
I visited Tokyo for a week in 2014. Most people in the west don't know of the wonders provided by a bidet but in Tokyo every single home and convenience store has a bidet installed. Understand that the ones over there are like $4k+ and are a normal feature of the entire throne/toilet unit complete with electronic controls, heated seat, warm & cold water options, and dual spray buttons, and so this unit is like comparing a Chevette to a Lexus. That being said, it gets the job done just fine! Installation was very easy as there were no additional parts required.Operation is simple - you'll get the hang of it. A word of warning however: dial the knob slowly - don't just turn all the way to the highest setting for your first blast because you won't know what kind of stream to expect right away.
Worth it!
July 27, 2015
Having a bidet is a life changer. The worst part about having one is having to go anywhere other than home. I really thought that a bidet was a luxury we could not afford. We had no room for an bowl and the cost of one with installation is quite high. I was really surprised when my husband looked up bidet on amazon and found this very reasonably priced product. It has few parts to break and unlike a "real bidet" it would not be too problematic to buy a new one if it wears out. I really thought that the stream would be too low to be fully functional, but beware start slow. I go no further than halfway on the control on pressure. You use less t.p. and there is no worry about being fresh and clean. My only worry is that it might have made the flushing less strong on the toilet but hubby disagrees and says he thinks that is a seperate problem with our toilet.I would not think twice in telling someone to get one.
Excellent product - a toilet life hack! But clean-up is tricky.
July 11, 2015
Excellent bidet that does gets the job done! Having lived in Middle Eastern countries for several years now, my family and I are spoiled by and used to bidets and the clean, fresh feeling they provide. Once you go bidet, you can’t go back and toilets in the US were disappointing for this reason. That is, until my sister-in-law gifted us with a similar (competitor brand) during a visit. That bidet broke after a year and we replaced it with this model. We have had it for over a year now and it’s still going strong. The luxe bidet is easy to use and installation is very fast and easy. No leakage problems at all.The only thing preventing a 5 star review is the difficulty in clean-up. Splatter is inevitable and not easy to clean, particularly around the nozzle and in the nooks and crannies of the unit. Having said that, I would definitely order it again, the convenience and freshness it provides is worth the hassle!

This is an amazing product I wish I had known about it a long time ago. I bought this Bidet just to give it a try. I am pleasantly surprised & that bathroom is my favored now. The product is very easy to install. It took me about 30 minutes from start to finish & I am not a handy person. The reason I gave it four stars, because it did not have the option to install a hot water line. Right now with just cold water hook up it is fine, but I live in Ohio & it gets extremely cold here in the winter time, therefore I am not sure how the water will feel.Over all the product works fine right out of the box & I highly recommend it to everyone & I have being telling my family & friends about it.

and it was super easy to install
May 20, 2017
Every heard the ol saying, "You get what you pay for?" Well, the case is true here as well. Although this does work well, and it was super easy to install. I wish I had spent the extra money and bought the one with both hot and cold water connections. Can we say Burrrrrrr? If the cold doesn't bother you down there. this is well worth it. Me? I'm a bit cold blooded, so I"ll be switching over soon. Enjoy.
Hygiene booster
April 11, 2017
I really would like to give this a 5 star, but the installation wasn't the easiest, by no means was it hard, I just had a hard time inserting the rubber hose onto the bidet, and I also question how securely they are attached, will my cat knock the hose loose and cause water to spew out and flood the house until it's found and fixed? Other than that, this device boosted my my hygiene confidence level, I feel confident going even after a shower. I've had this Bidet for about 7 months now, and have had no problems with it. You may need or want to add something to the toilet seat so it will sit more evenly when sitting on it, or it may break the seat.
Clean behind that sings soprano!
January 16, 2017
The Good: Works as described, quality parts, relatively easy install. The Bad: I live in St. Louis, MO; The average ground temperature is 52 degrees F. That makes for one COLD stream of water on the tush! I am an alto that sings soprano when it turns on! :) It leaves a 3/4" gap at the front of the toilet seat...Doesn't cause a problem, just startling if you are not aware or used to it. Finally, you MUST tighten the plastic fittings with a wrench to avoid leaks. I believe they advertise that you do not need tools to install, but you do.
Totally works
June 28, 2015
Easy installation and does what it's designed to do. Surprisingly accurate aim. The only thing I'm not happy about is now my toilet seat sits at an angle. I don't know if that is bad for the seat or not, I guess we'll see. Seems like some toilet seat front risers would fix that issue. Now I have to search for some the hight the bidet raises the seat. Or perhaps it's a nonissue.
So clean you could eat off "it".
March 11, 2014
For the price, it's great. My only real complaint is the appearance of the mounts. Kind of ugly, and you have to pay close attention to how much room you have to the left of the toilet (if you're standing up facing it). Literally one more millimeter and I would've been back to the dry-wipe zone.As for it's main function; you have to sort of scoot around as you schpritz up, mo make sure you get every nook and crannie. Also, since there's no warm water to it, that initial blast is a shocker ... gets ya every time, and in the winter if you do it for too long you'll end up with a frozen rosebud. Lastly, heed others' warnings about turning it on full blast or you'll end up with a high colonic. I thought I was a "badass" and turned it up to 11 the first time ... almost launched me into the next room.All-in-all, if you're looking for a decent, "starter" bidet at a cheap price, you'll be happy with this one, and the installation (albeit icky) really is easy.
Easy Installation, Works as Expected
February 28, 2011
I first used a bidet while visiting Japan for 6 weeks. I thought they were great, and when I got home I vowed that I would one day upgrade my toilet to a bidet toilet. I then promptly forgot about it until nearly a year later. I did some research into bidet toilets and one look at the price convinced me to try an alternative. The bidet toilet seat attachments seemed the easiest and cheapest way to go, so I found the cheapest one with the highest ratings and bought it.I used several different types of bidet while in Japan, and while I really liked the ultra-nice ones with the warm water, the seat heaters, the multiple streams, and the little dryers, none of those are really necessary. This simply little bidet does only one thing: shoot out cold water with varying degrees of pressure. And that is all that I really needed. I was worried that the cold water might be uncomfortable, but it doesn't bother me at all. The water pressure is good, I never need to go above "Low".It was easy to install, though it would have been about 10 times easier if the instructions weren't utterly worthless. The parts it comes with are fairly intuitive to assemble. The only part that really held me up was the little clear hose that connected the bidet to the toilet tank. I assembled the entire thing and was left with that one piece only to find that it was impossible to get on without taking it all apart again. So make sure that hose is connected to the tank attachment before putting the attachment on the tank.Oh, and when I say easy to install, I am speaking as a woman who has never done any plumbing work in her life - the most I assemble are bookshelves and desks. So, yeah, really easy to install.Instructions:1. Connect the clear hose to the toilet tank thingy.2. Connect the toilet tank thingy to the toilet tank.3. Remove the toilet seat and reassemble it with the bidet.4. Connect the clear hose to the bidet.5. You are done. Test for leaks. It works, yay!UPDATE 2/21/13: 2 years of use and absolutely no problems!UPDATE 1/1/15: 4 years of use and all is well!

Bumpers for your toilet.
October 22, 2017
Working well so far, though I agree with other reviews that the tape that comes with is not the greatest. They were also just a bit taller than the bumpers that were originally on the toilet seat. But, they definitely helped and for the price, they are worth it.

The bumpers are very good, however the sticky pads did not hold. I replaced them with Contact Cement, and all is well. Well worth the money, if you use Contact Cement.

Used these with a luxe bidet. I've already had to fish them out of the toilet twice. Have some rubber cement or replacement adhesive tape ready to install them with.
I imagine they are perfect if you have a bidet
December 17, 2016
Ok, so to be fair, I bought these as weight displacement bumpers for a new toilet seat I purchased after my rather ample bottom snapped ours. They are a fraction of an inch higher than the default bumper on the seat. So the seat sticks up a little until weight is put on it. I imagine they are perfect if you have a bidet, to make up for the gap. I guess a bidet might be in my near future... all in all, my seat feels a lot more solid on the bowl now.

Good entry model but didn't last
June 29, 2016
This bidet was a great entry model for us. Only 3 stars because the tubing that feeds the nozel deteriorated after leas than a year and the unit was not usable. We've since bought a Smart Bidet and love it. Still recommend this as an entry model for the low price. It does clean very well.
Everyone needs a bidet!
May 13, 2016
Like many, I was skeptical about buying one of these. I had never used one. I was immediately sold on it as soon as I tried it. This thing works great! It's more than a wash; it pressure washes your rear end. Even if I skip a shower one day, I am still clean. The reason I am only giving this 3 stars is because it is not very sturdy. Mine developed a crack and started leaking water after a few months use. I may have contributed to this when cleaning, but I was pretty careful not to damage it. When I went to replace it, I also discovered that the mounting tabs had broken. The tabs are thin plastic and they sit under the mount for the seat. So your weight is resting on the tabs. I am a 180 lb male, so I am not unusually heavy. This item just isn't very sturdy. I replaced it with the next model up in the same brand. It appears to be made a little better. Hopefully it lasts longer.
Sprays to the left at 5 o' clock position.
May 17, 2015
I just finished installing this product. I also purchased the Luxe Metal T adapter and the Danco Universal Seat Covers per other reviewers' recommendations.I did not install the options above because of the following:1). The included plastic T adapter does the job quite well. No leakage, but time will tell.2). The Universal Bumpers are not necessary for my setup. The two original bumpers are fine and actually the anterior portion of the seat slightly touches the anterior portion of toilet bowl for a tri-pod stabilization effect, which is even better in my opinion.I'll be returning the items above. The product's use is as described and I'm really satisfied with that aspect, but the retractable drop down spray nozzle sprays to the left of the target area at the 5 o' clock position. It is apparently in a fixed non rotatable position(see photo). There is a white screw at the tip end and turning this all the way counter clockwise will only separate it from the drop down tube. This screw cover is removable just in case a large debris gets impacted or if you would like to clean the spray holes. To remedy this manufacturing "defect", I simply turned the entire product 1 o' clock clockwise to position the spray at 6 o' clock(see photo). I am extremely particular of everything and I will see if I can live with this unaesthetic product positioning.I will contact Amazon, if this is even correctable and if all units come this way from the manufacturer. This is the only let down by this product. I should give it 2 stars, but will give 3 stars. Remember, the main use for this product is to spray the intended area and not to the right or left of it. There has to be a way to check this function before packaging and shipping it out customers.

April 10, 2015
This is my second bidet, the first one sprung a leak in the 90 degree connector under the seat, just above the sprayer. It lasted about 2 years. The replacement is working fine. It does shoot an impossible to aim jet of water, that is cold, but it does the job with a little work on my part. My wife says it's not lady compliant as the fixed jet shoots any fecal matter towards areas prone to yeast infections, so she avoids it. I've never tried a 'real' bidet but this one fits the bill until I get my $500 toilet seat.
Looks to be a great product, but it didn't fit our toilet model
January 4, 2015
This looked to be a great product, and it probably is for the toilets it can accommodate. Unfortunately, our elongated toilet could not accommodate this product, so check with the manufacturer before you purchase this to ascertain it will work with your particular toilet model. Check with the manufacturer before you buy.
Problems upon installation
January 13, 2013
It works fine now, but when it was installed it was leaking out of the 2 slots on the bottom of the control unit. I ended up having to take it apart to find the cheapest nicked up o-ring I've ever seen at the main valve. I replaced the o-ring and added a few wraps of Teflon tape just to be sure, re-assembled and now no leak. The unit itself is great and works fine, but to save a quarter of a penny on an o-ring in this type of system is just goofy.

Overall I like it’s effectiveness
October 16, 2017
There are only a couple factors for the reason I returned this product. Overall I like it’s effectiveness. However, my toilet seat hovers almost a whole inch above the actual bowl. I thought I could fix this problem by buying the rubber seat bumpers to place underneath, but the gap is just way too obvious. I assume this is probably not a problem for most people depending on the style of their toilets, but it is a problem for me. Although the leaking problem is not major, I do recommend buying the stainless steel attachment to replace the plastic one that comes with this product for a more secure fit. This product may be good for someone with a different toilet size, but I will be looking for something a bit thinner.
You get what you pay for
August 23, 2017
It works very well but the angle of the stream does not work for me. The plastic hose connectors are a little cheaply made. Metal connectors would have been better. After installation at started leaking after trying to tighten kept leaking. I had to recut house and reseat. Finally got it to stop leaking but adapter scratched up with plier marks. I bought the gobidet. It's all metal and the stream comes from bottom up.

August 17, 2017
I do like it, and having a bidet-especially at this price point- has cut my toilet paper use in half. The only issue I've had, as some others have experienced as well, is the rubber tube that screws into the water supply from the bidet mechanism has been leaking as of late where it connects to the water supply. Not sure if it's the knob component that screws over the tube to the water supply, or if it's the hose itself, but every once in a while there will be a puddle of water directly under it. I've reattached, but after about a week or so its back to leaking and I just have a small bucket under it until I can resolve the issue.
Unsure of durability
May 7, 2017
Installed 2 in Feb 2015. Both worked very well. After 15 months one unit developed internal leak that dumped water on bathroom floor when used. Units worked so well I took a chance and ordered another to replace leaking unit. Have not installed yet. When I do intend to try to diagnose and repair malfunctioning unit. As I said, units did job intended for but leaking unit prevents giving better rating.
Could be improved
March 10, 2017
l've had this bidet for two years now and noticed a slow water leak yesterday. The leak was internal, so I took it apart to see where it was coming from. There was a clear tube from valve to sprayer that had a crack in it, so only leaked when turning valve on to start sprayer. Don't know what caused the crack in the tube. The bidet works fine but I only gave it 3 stars because I place high priority on how well things hold up to use and two years is not very good. I'll pay more for better quality if I can find one or I might try replacing the tube if I can be sure of no leaks. We'll see.
Larger than need be
January 9, 2017
Installation is very easy, the product is well made and of quality construction. Unfortunately I had to return this item because of its size. I is much larger than expected and takes up a significant amount of space next to your toilet. For my application it didn't actually fit where I needed it to. If you have a spacious bathroom this wouldn't be an issue for you. For me, I find it large and gaudy looking. It's about the size of a toilet paper roll (single ply) and sticks far out from your toilet. I was expecting something more discrete.I also think the spray nozzle should be designed better. The jet stream is very hard even at lower settings. It needs an aerator or larger openings so it is not such a focused stream. It does not come out as it's shown in the picture.

Be sure you actually need this before ordering.... MUCH smaller than I expected and attach using adhesive strip...
September 17, 2017
Bought to use with bidet kit. Didn't end up using them. Not necessary after all. Seems attachment with adhesive strips may not be the most sanitary version of attachment... not sure though what the alternative would be - using screws? More holes would be more areas for bacteria to hide....
Not the best adhesive.
September 6, 2017
"They're okay" seems about right. The problem is that the adhesive just isn't good enough. It'll last for awhile and, if you use some glue, you can probably get plenty of use out of them; but if you depend on the included adhesive you'll eventually hear a splash and see that one of these has somehow ended up in the drink.
Needs stickier adhesive...
August 29, 2017
They do what they're supposed to but they don't stick for very long. I've had to replace the original tape that came with it several times now. Would be nice if there was a product that stuck well to the toilet.
Ok but doesn't stick.
June 6, 2017
Perfect height but they won't stick. Just kept coming apart from the doubled sided tape no matter how much tape was replaced.

Loved it the 2 1/2 months it worked.
September 21, 2017
Loved it the 2 1/2 months it worked. It broke down today, and I ordered it July 5th. One person home, and it was possibly used once a day, not counting the 2 weeks no one was here. The plastic just snapped, on the essential piece that attaches the sprayer to the rest of the device. I'm sold on the bidet concept, but not this manufacturer's. I suppose I got what I paid for. Learn from my mistake.
Worked well for 2 weeks
June 9, 2017
It leaks. Followed instructions, hand tightened everything but no matter what it leaks, oh well. Really thought it worked great too, but can't be worried all the time about the water leaking while I'm not home.
Cheap components make other models a much better option.
December 16, 2015
This is the third bidet I've bought. Despite being poked fun at a little, this one was requested by my kids who started using the one in the master bedroom. This particular one, however, I didn't install because the parts are so flimsy and cheap. The supply hose and T adapter are pretty weak (others reviews have photos). Unless you buy the brass shutoff valve (which I highly recommend), there is constant water pressure on these hoses and valves which poses a risk. I've had a supply hose leak to the tune of $4,000 in water damages, so I'm probably a little more cautious than your average person. If what I can see is so cheap, I don't want to take a risk on what's inside. My advice: get a nicer one, like the Neo version from the same brand (http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B009ZLRSJ6). The supply hose is braided steel, the valves are nicer, and the unit is sturdier. I tried to save a few bucks here and should have known better. With this model, if you want to change the supply hose, you'll have to change the T adapter too since it's only compatible with the provided cheap noodle. At that point, you've probably spent more than just buying a better one. Hope that helps!
This item is one of the best investments I ever made Edit: Has a fatal flaw
August 14, 2015
This item is one of the best investments I ever made. Its very cheap, extremely easy to install ( I installed mine in under 10 minutes ) and does what it needs to do. This is the second Luxe Bidet I got, highly recommend!Edited: lowered for 5 stars to 2 stars. Ive had this for a few years now, and although its great and I love it, I have had my toilet seat crack TWICE since Ive had it. The way this is installed it props up the back of the toilet seat, I guess with my seat it creates a pressure point where if you sit just the wrong way it snaps the seat. It cost me two seats so far, at roughly $60 per seat replacement this has become quite costly!
Already broke in less than a year and water is everywhere!
March 28, 2015
I had this product for less than a year and the tubes already broke open and water was everywhere. While it worked it defiantly had some power to it's spray so that's a plus. That being said the production quality is really cheap so for future buyers get something more expensive with stronger materials.
NOT EASY TO INSTALL
September 10, 2013
There is no video instruction with product. Youtube videos from same company are NOT helpful. Parts do not fit together. The entire thing LEAKs. "T" device specifically does not fit metal tube at ALL. Very cheap, hard plastic tubing is not flexible does not fit on bidet and looks like it will crack. Little black washers come with it that have to be placed, NOT EASY. After an hour of calling on relay for a plumber, I gave up on the plumber (who did not know what a bidet is) and managed to disconnect the bidet, put it back in the box, and hook my toilet water hose back up, so I can use the toilet (we have 2). I will return this and try another brand, a hand-held one which comes with the right "T" connector. My toilet is in an "old fashioned" type "water closet" it does have hot/cold pipes very nearby but with fittings I don't know how to take apart that the last plumber put there. So I am willing to use a hand held one or a cold one, I am not willing to pay $1000 to have a luxury one installed because it will cost $95/hour for labor roughly and the ones with the toilet seat attached are $300+

Worked great for a month
September 2, 2017
Worked great for a month. Small piece came off the nozzle. Can't find a replacement for it anywhere or contact the company for one. If I can't figure a fix on my own, my next purchase will be with another company that provides some sort of customer service. I shouldn't have to buy a whole unit for parts when it's a month old, even if it's inexpensive.
Defective product
June 14, 2017
Assembled the two bidets that I got, one works just fine and the other one is absolute crap. The nozzle that sprays water refuses to go down and when it does, it's so sudden. I had thrown away the box as soon as I had taken it out, placing my trust in the product. Clearly that is a mistake considering I can't return without the box.

July 31, 2016
Eventually it broke and started leaking water. Plus, it's kind of a pain in the butt to disassemble and clean. It gets pretty gross because poo ricochets off your butt when it sprays you clean.Don't get me wrong. Having a bidet is great and this definitely worked at first but a $30 bidet that you have to replace eventually is less than ideal. Water damage can be serious business, y'know? It's not worth it. Get something sturdier. Buy it for life.
Bad quality. Disappointed.
June 9, 2016
I bought 2 of these and they worked great at first, but within about 3 months, one of the nozzles started dripping, but we were able to live with it since we could just twist the knob on a little and off again and the dripping would stop.About a month and a half ago, the second one began dripping from the side where the knob is and flooding our floor. We've had to shut off the water to the toilet until it is replaced. We will throw it out and get a new one. Needless to say, I won't be buying the same one and wouldn't recommend this. It's worth it to pay a little more in my opinion and get one that will last longer than 6 months. One might have been a manufacturer defect, but both is just poor quality.
Clean bottom, dirty toilet
April 1, 2016
We've had this for several months and the whole family loves it. However, we are going to have to figure out a different solution because I can't keep the toilet clean without SCRUBBING after each bidet use. I don't know if it's just my family. The toilet we have without the bidet is much easier to keep clean (and it never needs the SCRUBBING). In addition, the part of the bidet that spans the toilet bowl adds an extra spot that is difficult to clean: you can't move the plastic out of the way to clean. This results in cleaning solution and suds getting stuck in between the bowl and the bidet. I'm scared to see what it looks like when we remove the bidet. This product definitely made us into a bidet family, but this isn't working for me. My dream is to get a fancy Japanese toilet when we renovate. Until then, I think I'll try the hand-held sprayer that doesn't add any additional nooks and crannies to the toilet bowl.
Good idea, but needs some refinement.
February 23, 2015
OK, I've wanted a bidet for some time, but they are expensive and I'd have to totally remodel to have enough room for one. So when these got under $30 I thought I'd try one.The good news its that it's easy to install and the only tool I needed was a straight screwdriver. No leaks and it took about 10 minutes. The bad news is that it is uncomfortable to use due to the cold water. I know that there are a lot of reviewers stating that the cold water wasn't a problem, but either my water is VERY cold or there are temperature sensors in my nether regions. I tend to accept the later explanation. In a word it hurts to use this thing...not a lot, but definitely uncomfortable. Also there are a couple of other minor issues; the toilet seat doesn't rest on the bowl properly anymore as the back pads, which are part of the hinge, contact the Astor bidet so the the front bumpers don't rest on the bowl until you sit down and put everything under some stress. Nothing has broken...yet, but it's not right. Also since the water comes up in one spot only you have to kind of mambo around on the seat....I have to move forward about an inch and move from side to side to wash. Not a big deal, but a slightly wider spray pattern may be better. The last thing is that it doesn't save on toilet paper as others have suggested, at least not for me. I have to pat myself dry and that takes just about the same amount of paper as before....maybe a bit less, but not significantly so.Would I buy another or recommend it? Nope.

"Upgraded" this into a bad product.
August 19, 2017
I've bought about 10 of these over the years and they've "upgraded" this and now its literally the worst one ever. Previously they used a steel braided cable for the water, now they use a cheap plastic hose which somehow makes flushing out your bung hole smell even worse. Its like you're smelling hot cheap plastic being injected up your butt. No fun. Also, the damn water jet thing shoots slightly off to the right and there you are trying to get the stink water centered when it just isn't.Sadly what was a great product no longer is.
Leaked from everywhere!!!
March 22, 2017
I used this bidet for less than 6 months and it started leaking like crazy. It was leaking from underneath the actual knob where you twist to squirt the water. The second spot it was leaking water from was the hose that was connected to the tank. I nearly got kicked out of my apartment because water was dripping down on my neighbors below me!!! Cheaply made bidet, I would never buy this brand ever again!!!
Crap, just like most of the other crap you buy.
February 29, 2016
1 year later the tube within the body of the bidet has sprung a leak. Well, it was nice while it lasted. Also, the horizontal portion of the body that fits under the toilet seat is open on the bottom. Mold gathers in this area.
The inner plastic tube of this bidet is not strong ...
January 25, 2016
The inner plastic tube of this bidet is not strong enough to withstand the water pressure. I have two bathrooms and both bidets have been replaced twice. I asked the manufacturer if I can just order the plastic tube so I can just fix it, but I was told you have to replace the whole unit when it leaks. Again, one of my bidets inner tube busted again, so I ordered another one last week and came in today but guess what its leaking and I have to return it. Incidentally, the bidet in my other bathroom started leaking and have to put a pan to contain the water until I get the other bathroom fixed.
Hard to clean but functional
October 30, 2015
Hose inside the bidet deteriorated quickly leaking water. The hose is integrated with the sprayer so it cannot be replaced. What could have been fixed with 20 cents worth of plastic tubing from the hardware store went to the landfill. Bolt holes are very hard to clean leaving smelly yellow residue inside. You'd have to disassemble and soak to clean.
NOT happy!!!
November 24, 2014
I really liked this at first. Then I started noticing water on the floor beside and back of the toilet. I thought it was coming from the base of the tank, but it wasn't a lot, so began keeping a container there to collect the drips as a temporary measure. Slowly, though, I had to empty the container more and more frequently. A friend came over to correct the problem and found it came from the bidet. A part had cracked, allowing the water to leak.I don't know when it began to leak after installation, but I bought it four months ago. Not only did I throw money away for the purchase, but my brother spent his rare time off installing this for my mother and me, and in total, I spent a lot of time cleaning up the water off the floor and emptying the temporary container. NOT happy!!!

Leaky!
July 26, 2017
I never write reviews but wanted to warn potential buyers to avoid this product. I installed this product per instructions from seller and it worked okay at first. I went out of town for the weekend and came home to a leaky bidet and a wet bathroom floor. It was leaking from the water connection below the dial. The water line was still connected very snugly to the water inlet but that did stop the steady water drip onto my bathroom floor. Of course the product malfunctioned outside of my return deadline by 16 days so I can't return it. I do not recommend this product!
Not for us
July 6, 2017
It has good pressure and very easy to install. I know I installed correctly, but as water was on it caused water to go under the toilet lid which made water go all over the floor. Tested a few times on low pressure and high pressure, didn't matter water would still go on the back of the toilet and go to the floor. Was not leaking from connectors so it didn't work on our toilet. Minutes to install and five minutes later off it went.

Junk, save your money. You will likely get leaks.

I'm very good with plumbing, however the cheap tubing they use to tap in to a water line, and feed the unit generated a leak after week 2, causing damage to ceiling. Had to throw in the trash.

July 2017DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. NO WARRANTY INFORMATION AVAILABLE.I've bought three bidets so far. Out of which, two have become defective within 6 months of use. One started leaking from the internal tubing. While the second one's control knob came off.I haven't been able to find any warranty information for this product except for the generic verbiage by Amazon.Folks, if you are not aware of the clean feel that comes with using water, you are missing out on something in life. I wish there was a travel version of the bidet that I could carry around.Must use toilet paper, then bidet, then toilet paper for best results. Gross? Well not so much when you are done using this bidet. It will boost your personal hygiene!
Buy at your own risk!
April 10, 2015
I purchased this Bidet after our BioBidet had ran its course and wanted to try a different brand. What a mistake! We bought two of them, in case our other bathroom BioBidet took a flush down the toilet. We installed it and it worked great for about a week and then the spray nozzle would drip constantly. It was closed by the turn dial, which almost broke as I tried to close it. but it kept dripping. I uninstalled it and put the new one, to see if it was just a bad one. And to my surprise the "new" Astor Bidet had already been used before! I took the unused parts and tried to fix it but to no avail it was not working. The turn dial is very flimsy and almost broke when I tried to turn it off so the leaking would stop. Overall, this is a very cheap product and I tried to find the manufacturers to get a warranty but I cannot locate them. It doesn't have any information on the box nor the warranty card. THIS IS A VERY BAD PRODUCT! Going back to the BioBidet!

No sticking power
July 23, 2017
They did not stick from the very first day I tried to stick them on underneath the toilet seat. I tried several times and nothing. The stickers that they provided wouldn't even stick to my skin. They fell in the toilet and I had to go fishing for them.
Forget it
May 25, 2017
Well, not only did it not fix the problem of the space, after two weeks one of the bumpers on each of the two bowls, fell into the toilet and got flushed. Threw it away. It does not stick for long.
Use Spacers instead of Bumpers
February 25, 2016
There's a simpler, much cheaper, and longer-lasting alternative to using these bumpers to close the new gap at the front-end of the toilet seat created by inserting the bidet attachment under the back-end: for $1.50 I bought a pair of 1x3/8x3/8" spacers through which I inserted the two screws that hold the seat to the toilet bowl. The spacers were placed between the bidet and the seat. This changes the angle of the seat so the front of the seat is resting on the toilet again instead of being cantilevered with a gap above it.
Nice bumpers, bad choice of adhesive pads!
June 2, 2015
I read the reviews and thought, I will make this work. Two days later, three of the four are gone. I carefully cleaned both surfaces and made sure to only stick them once and put a lot of pressure on them to get good contact. They seemed like they were going to hold up well, but one was gone after the first day and two more on the second day. The worst part is that they must have ended up in the bowl so they can't even be reattached somehow. The bumpers are good quality, but the adhesive pads are not strong enough for this application. If you buy them, I would use some other method of putting them on.

September 22, 2013
I have never given 1 star to any other product here in Amazon. But I had to give a low rating as I don’t think this product is ready for use. I have a plastic toilet seat and so I didn’t want to buy bumpers with screws. I decided to use this product that sticks to toilet seat. The package contains 4 bumpers as shown in the product photo’s and a rectangular adhesive tape with bumper shape perforations. One side of the tape sticks to the bumper and the other side goes on to the toilet seat. The tape adhesive is of poor quality and cannot hold the bumpers. 3 of the 4 bumpers came off in less than a week. The tape is still sticking to the seat but the bumpers are gone.
