Great product!
December 13, 2015
Looked at the Luxe bidet but after seeing an install video that showed the nozzle hanging quite far below the rim of the toilet which concerned me because of possibility of becoming easily soiled, I decided to go with this model. Install was easy. Used teflon tape and Aquaus Toilet Adapter/T-Adapter as other reviewers recommended. Unfortunately I ovetightened plastic coupling connecting to seat and it snapped (do not need to tighten that much!). I got on phone with support on a Monday night around 8pm, got a live person immediately who knew exactly what I had done wrong. He sent me the replacement hose, no questions asked, no extra charge even though the fault was all mine. Excellent service! The bidet itself is discreet. No one knows its a bidet until I show 'em. The seat does make the opening smaller which is a bit less comfortable than my previous seat but a small price to pay for the convenience of the bidet. Water is cold and so limits how long you can use device. But very much appreciate the difference in cleaning this offers.
GenieBidet Seat Compared with Luxe Bidet Neo 110
September 17, 2015
This is my initial review of the Ellegantz GenieBidet seat. I have had the GenieBidet for one day. This review will talk about my impressions of the GenieBidet seat, and also contrast it with the Luxe Bidet Neo 110, which I returned. Why I returned the Luxe Bidet Neo 110 and ordered the GenieBidet:First, I will talk about the Luxe Neo 110 which I tried before ordering the GenieBidet. I ordered the Neo 110 after reading the thousands of excellent reviews. The Neo 110, is an under-the-seat add-on bidet that is installed underneath the rear of your current toilet seat. In the short time I had the Neo 110, it appeared to be a quality product. It was made of durable plastic, had excellent water pressure, a metal braided hose, and worked as intended. I was very happy with it after I first installed it. I then realized the inherent problem with the under-the-seat design, and this was enough for me to return it and try the GenieBidet. The problem with the Luxe Neo 110 design, is that it raises the back of your current toilet seat up, causing the seat to slope downward from back to front. This created a situation where the front of my toilet seat was the only part contacting the toilet bowl, and created a fairly significant gap between the middle of my seat and the underlying bowl. Sitting on my plastic seat would forcefully close this gap by flexing the seat in the middle until this gap was closed. Removing weight from the seat would cause it to flex back into the suspended position. Most of the flexing occurred in the middle, because the front of the seat was always contacting the bowl, and the rear of the seat was attached to the Neo 110 frame. Because of this, I worried the seat would eventually break from these repeated stress cycles. In an effort to correct this issue, I bought rubber toilet bumpers and attached them to the middle of the seat, to fill the gap. This was a partially successful solution, however the bumpers kept falling off, didn't fill the entire gap, and just felt like a very imperfect solution. To address the issue of the bumpers falling off, I considered sanding the bottom of the toilet seat and using epoxy to permanently attach the bumpers, but I eventually gave up and started looking for alternatives. Although the Neo 110 appeared to be a quality product, I just couldn't accept the seat-gap issues, and decided to try the GenieBidet. I would like to see Luxe offer a complete bidet seat design similar to the GenieBidet. Now that you've read about my experience with an under-the-seat add-on bidet, I will talk about my experience with the GenieBidet Seat. I finished installing it a day ago, so these are my initial observations. I will amend my review later if warranted.Ellegantz GenieBidet Seat:Installation:The installation of the GenieBidet took me about 45 minutes. I did need to read the instructions. Step one of the instructions makes reference to attaching rubber pieces, but I think they come already attached. I installed it using the "second method" which uses screws on top of the toilet and nuts on the bottom of the toilet to attach what the instructions refer to as the plastic "adapter plate." The adapter plate is the docking station that the seat locks into. There are expansion nuts included which are identified as the "recommended method" of install in the instructions, but I'm not sure if or why using the expansion nuts is better? Anyway, when I screwed down the GenieBidet adapter plate, I was careful to not over-tighten the bolts, as I'm sure it would have been possible to break the plastic adapter plate with enough force.Attaching the water hose is easy, and it runs from the GenieBidet to an included plastic T-adapter that attaches to the toilet tank fill line. Make sure you use all of the rubber gaskets, or it will leak. The rubber gasket fell out of the bidet side of my hose during shipping. I found it in the bag. I am not currently having any leaks. Also, for good measure, I replaced the old gasket in my fill line with a new one from the hardware store, as my old gasket was deteriorating and I didn't want pieces of it to clog my new bidet. Hopefully the included water screen on the GenieBidet inlet hose would have prevented this though.GenieBidet Seat Quality:This product, because it is an entire seat replacement, eliminates the seat slope issue I had with the Neo 110 (described above). There is a very small gap between the rear built in seat bumper of my GenieBidet and my toilet bowl, which I wish wasn't there, as the GenieBidet seat does in fact flex very slightly to close this gap, but let me be clear, this is nothing close to what I described on the Neo 110 above, and I don't think this will cause product failure or seat fracture. I think this "issue" could be corrected by Ellegantz if they made the rear seat bumper slightly longer, but I'm not sure. This small gap is no reason to avoid this product, and I would have never noticed it had I not previously dealt with the seat slope issues on the Luxe Neo 110.The seat quality itself seems pretty good, and it is surprisingly comfortable, more so than my old cheapo toilet seat. One thing that concerned me before ordering were the reviews that mentioned the seat being slightly too short in the front and leaving a small gap on the front of the toilet. There are photos of this in some of the other reviews. I guess I have this "issue" but let me say if it is too short, it is only by about 1/4 inch (6.35 mm). This does not bother me at all, and I would have never noticed it had I not read about it in the other reviews. It does not appear to create any functional or seat support problems and is not an issue for me. Nobody else would ever notice it.Aesthetics:The GenieBidet looks very nice. It also looks conservative, and doesn't shout bidet. The control lever on the right side is small and reminds me of a second flushing handle. In contrast, the Luxe Neo 110 (different product) is definitely not discreet, having a big control panel protruding from the toilet (which could be bumped). That being said, the control panel on the Neo 110 didn't bother me personally.Sprayer Function:So far I am pleased with the GenieBidet's sprayer functions. I did need to increase the water pressure by adjusting the pressure regulator (read your instructions). The GenieBidet, after adjustment still has less maximum pressure than the Neo 110, but this may actually be a good thing, as the water pressure on the GenieBidet is plenty adequate, and the Neo 110 is probably too much pressure for a lot of people on high. Without taking scientific measurements, I'd subjectively say the Genie on high is similar to the Neo 110 on "low" (still quite a bit). The Genie Bidet also has a second sprayer for the the front that the Neo 110 does not have. I have on good authority that this second sprayer makes a big difference and is a must have feature.Sprayer Location:Both sprayers on the GenieBidet are located just below the back of the seat where they are well elevated from the toilet bowl water. The Neo 110 sprayer sits lower in the toilet bowl, closer to the toilet water (but not in it). I'm not sure if this makes any real world difference, but I like that the sprayers on the GenieBidet are farther from the toilet bowl water. Why you don't want hot water on your bidet:The GenieBidet is cold water only. I was originally concerned about a cold water bidet, but after reading countless reviews, I felt it was the better option. It doesn't feel cold, and the fact that it doesn't require a hot water line (or an electric heater), makes it much simpler to install. If considering a hot water line option, you need to consider how long hot water takes to reach your faucet. Also, consider the potential dangers that hot water can present. Why you don't want electric on your bidet:I've never owned one of the thousand dollar electric bidets, but the idea of having electric motors, electric heater(s), an integrated circuit board, and a wireless remote control seems unnecessary to me.Economics:I originally started looking for a bidet because I got tired of spending so much money on toilet paper. Quality toilet paper is quite expensive. Assuming the GenieBidet lasts, it will pay for itself pretty quick in toilet paper savings. If it saves me a dollar a day in toilet paper, that will be a $365.00 return in one year. The ROI (return on investment) is potentially huge. The more household members you have, the greater your potential ROI will be.Environment:Bidets are great for the environment. Don't worry about the water use, manufacturing toilet paper uses more. Manufacturing toilet paper also consumes wood, chemicals, energy, and the petroleum involved in transport. Flushed toilet paper also goes to the waste water treatment plant (or septic tank).Cleanliness:You will never get this clean with toilet paper.Recommendations to Ellegantz:1. Look into the small seat gap issue I mentioned2. Maybe make the seat a tad longer for those that care (as long as this doesn't hurt compatibility)3. The locking latch that is controlled by the seat release button is plastic and somewhat small, I would like to see something more substantial used, but I'll know more about its durability as time passes. If this little latch breaks, the product is useless. I personally would prefer a seat that doesn't detach at all. I know the detachable seat is a cleaning feature (and it works), but I'd personally prefer if there was an option for a seat that permanently bolted to the toilet without using the risky plastic locking latch.4. I would also like to see a "luxury" model with a) metal braided water house b) metal T-connector c) brass water connector on the seat, instead of plastic d) metal control handleSummary:I am giving the GenieBidet the full five stars. I will know more about its long term durability in the months, hopefully years to come. I am concerned that the seat mounting system may be the product's future point of failure, but it is working great so far. I personally want the option for a super heavy duty permanently mounted seat that doesn't detach. If I encounter any issues with my mount breaking, I will update my review, and I hope my concerns are unfounded. Finally, I will never buy an under-the-seat add-on (Luxe Neo 110) again. I do believe the Luxe Neo 110 is a quality product for what it is, but I'm very happy to have eliminated the inherent problems of the under-the-seat design by going to a full seat replacement (GenieBidet). I would like to see more companies produce an affordable cold water, non-electric, full seat replacement similar to the GenieBidet. Are you listening Luxe?---------------------------------One Year Update:I have now had the GenieBidet Seat an entire year. As promised, I will update my initial thoughts. Let me start by saying that this is one of the absolute best things I have EVER purchased. It is definitely worth the $80.00 they are currently charging for it, and I think that is a fair price.Quality-1yr: The quality is very good for the price. It still feels sturdy, and I have not had a single issue with it during my year of ownership. I believe the synthetic water hose and plastic t-connector have proven themselves, and now wonder if the "metal braided hose and metal t-connector" offered by other brands are actually of any benefit to the buyer, or are simply marketing hype. Regardless, I have had no leaks and no problems of any kind from the product, and no longer feel a "luxury model" is desirable. In my earlier review, I also said that I wanted a non-detachable seat, because I was worried that the small plastic "mounting hook" that locks the seat to the base might break. This still worries me a little bit, and I am careful to not stress the hook. However, I have not had any problems with it breaking over the last year, and I will admit being able to detach the seat is in fact extremely helpful for cleaning (which is why they designed it this way). I have also not had any problems with the sprayers deploying from their retracted position, which is something I thought might happen after repeated cycling. Overall, for the price, I give this a quality rating of 5/5. I would still like the mounting hook to be beefed up, but unless there are people having hook failure, I don't guess it's a problem, because it hasn't failed me after a year. As long as the product continues to last several more years without breaking, I will consider it a very reasonable quality to price compromise. Finally, the very minor "seat gap" on this product does not bother me at all or cause me any problems, and I didn't expect it to. It simply isn't a problem like it is on the "under seat" attachments from other manufactures.Economics-1yr: The GenieBidet has substantially reduced toilet paper use. I estimate a 90% reduction, and this has saved me a lot of money, plus been beneficial to the environment. Although I have not kept track of the numbers, I would not be surprised if I have saved more money on toiler paper over the last year than the GenieBidet cost, giving me a positive ROI (return on investment). I also no longer buy the expensive premium toilet paper, and I instead buy the cheapest paper I can find. After a year, I do genuinely consider this product to have been a legitimate and profitable "investment."Thoughts on non-electric-1yr:I did not find the cold water to be a real problem, even on the coldest of winter days. I don't have to worry about electric motor failure, wireless remote failure, heater coil failure, computer failure, or any other such thing. The GenieBidet also worked fine during a power outage, as it should, since it uses no power at all.Closing Remarks-1yr.Again, this is one of the best products that I have ever bought. I believe it has also been unique in that I have not found similar products in this price range sold by other companies. I really want to see other companies also offer products like this, because it would drive the market and ultimately benefit the consumer. This is something that every household should have, and after owning one for a year, I don't understand why the adoption rate is so low in my part of the world. If you are torn between the GenieBidet and an "under-seat attachment" like the Luxe Bidet Neo 110, I believe you will be much happier with the GenieBidet. I know I am.PS: Don't buy the rubber bumpers that Amazon is suggesting you purchase with the GenieBidet Seat. They are not needed for whole seat replacements like GenieBidet.
Go For It!
August 26, 2015
Just installed the GenieBidet seat after having another bidet from another company for many years. Loved the old model, but it looked like you were going to sit on a seat that would beam you to the moon, so was looking for something more discreet. This one is that for sure. The elongated seat worked on my elongated toilet. There is a little elevation in the back of the seat so you adjust your bottom a bit to "fit", but no problem.Love the fact that you can take the seat off for cleaning because our old one was very hard to keep clean with many grooves and areas where bacteria could just sit and fester. We would have to unscrew the old one to give it a cleaning which happened often, but was not ideal in any way. This seat slides out well for easy cleaning, plus the area that constantly got dirty where the seat attaches to the bowl, is completely covered now. They said 2 rubber gaskets come with it to attach to plate that goes on seat, but we didn't have them with our packaging. There were 4 rubber small pads already on the plate that seems to be fine and I guess I'll find as I use it more if the gaskets were necessary. We don't have low pressure, but our old model had amazing pressure and this one is more gentle, so we ended up taking the water regulator off. (Pg 6)So far so good. I think I'm going to go ahead and get another one for our other bathroom since it really is so discreet and can't imagine anyone feeling uncomfortable using it.
It works well, and I am glad I bought it
July 27, 2015
I was a couple of concerns before purchasing this bidet-style toilet seat. First, I was skeptical that it would actually work without being messy or gross. Second, I was doubtful of my own ability to install it without there being leaks everywhere. I installed it a week ago, and so far, there are no leaks. The little spray jets work as intended, and I am happy with the purchase. Here are some notes on the device itself:There are two spray jets. The product description led me to believe that one would aim toward one's posterior, and one would aim toward a lady's area. As far as I can tell, both jets aim at the exact same place. However, one jet is a more gentle spray, and the other is a stronger, more focused spray. I am new to this type of product, so it may be that I have simply misunderstood something. In any case, the spray pressure is strong enough to assist with cleaning, but not strong enough to be uncomfortable. The seat and the lid are a bit strange. The lid is of the newer "slow close" type. I have never had a toilet seat with this feature before. It definitely works as intended, but it takes some getting used to. The seat seems a little small to me. By "small", I mean it is slightly smaller (length and width) than the toilet seat it replaced, and the hole in the middle of the seat seems a bit smaller. Even so, it fits the toilet on which it is installed, and it's not uncomfortable. I just wish the seat were a smidge wider and longer. It might sound like I am criticizing the bidet seat, but I am not. I am just trying to describe it as accurately as I can. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase, and I am pleasantly surprised that it was so easy to install and that it works so well. One final note: I had to replace the original water line from our floor to our toilet, because our previous water line was of a rigid type (solid tubing, not bendy). Getting the right length to replace it was a little tricky. I wound up needing to get a longer piece than I thought I needed, because it needed to be long enough to loop around and not have any stress on the fittings or kinks in the water line. I just wanted to mention that in case someone else runs into the same issue.Summary: it works well, and I am glad I bought it.
Like!!! If you're looking for this product get this, you will not be disappointed.
July 16, 2015
Just finished installing it. It was very easy to install 20 minutes max with reading the instructions (step by step instructions with diagrams). Looks great, tested well...seems like it will do the job. Will add additional comments after a few days of us.
Great no frills bidet
July 13, 2015
Our family long ago embraced the superior hygiene and convenience offered by toilet seat bidets and have installed units in each of our three bathrooms. However, all units shared two rather substantial flaws:1) poor cleanability: these bidets are installed between the toilet stool and seat, accumulating all sorts of dirt over time. To clean, the units must be completely uninstalled, a time consuming chore we rarely had the patience for.2) aesthetics: the spray nozzle and pressure controls are in plain sight for everyone to see.The Genie Bidet solves both issues handily. The unit easily snaps on and off of the toilet stool with a simple button click, making cleaning a breeze. The nozzle retracts into the bidet and out of sight when not in use and the water pressure controls are cleverly built into the seat and barely noticeable. In fact, upon casual examination, the Genie Bidet looks exactly like a standard toilet seat.I deducted one star due to underwhelming water pressure. My old unit had more "pep" in that department. Still, a great product overallUpdate: on the advice of customer support, I removed the pressure regulator unit. This resulted in a substantial increase in water pressure, so I'm amending my rating to a full 5 stars.

Definitely needed with the Luxe Bidet Neo 185. Once bidet is installed, toilet seat will be higher so these bumpers are applied to FLAT SURFACE of toilet seat and then it is level. If underside of toilet seat is not flat, you may need to change toilet seat. Well worth it.
Excellent product if you need a bumper
August 16, 2017
Strong 3M tape on the underside helps keep it in place. No noise or lid flexing when sitting on the toilet now. It seats the lid comfortably. Its use will depend on your toilet lid. This was a necessary add-on for one of your toilets when we installed the Luxe Bidet 180, but not for another toilet, which was by a different manufacturer and had a Luxe Bidet 120 installed on it.
As advertised perfect for application

theyre the perfect size for the bidet I installed, and is you dont have the controlled close lid like ours theyre a softer rubber and less likely to crack the seat having the 2 extra round ones add stability to front of seat for heavier people or if you install a bidet

glad these are available from Amazon. Made a bidet purchase and thought I would need it to level the seat after installation, but I did not. I am glad I had them on hand though. Will use them for another project.

Worked great, no issues!
September 27, 2017
Worked perfectly, no leaks or any issues. Some people asked if the valve shuts of the water to both ends, or just the one. The answer is it only shuts off water to the one directly across from it. See attached pictures showing it open and closed.
It Works Better than the Nylon Adapter
April 26, 2017
I just received the T adapter; the Luxe 120 nylon adapter is pretty fragile, but I did make it work after using some Teflon tale on the threads. It does work on my toilet. I love my bidet, but I will admit it took some adjustment to get it located in the right position. The nylon adapter leaked after but after I reconnected it with Teflon tape the leak stopped. I have pretty high water pressure here so flow shouldn't be a problem.I had zero leaks, saw no difference in water pressure and installed in less than 5 minutes.
This is a must if you buy a bidet..

On the second try, I installed the Neo Luxe Bidet unit, with the metal T-adapter, and this time it worked. Customer Service at "2 Go" were extremely nice. They kept trying and trying to help. They were always very nice, and as helpful as they could be.It appears that the supply line in the first one was faulty. I could not get it to stop leaking. After several tries, I gave them a bad review. I would like to correct that now, as the unit works as advertised, and doesn't leak.It seems to be a great bidet and my wife loves it.2Go was kind enough to give us a free replacement for our trouble. Thank you for great service and a great product!
high quality metal t adapter that can adjust the water flow or serve as a safety valve to shut off water flow to the bidet
May 24, 2016
The metal t adapter was bought for my bidet that I recently installed in my bathroom. It is definitely of higher quality than the plastic t adapter that was included. This unit enables me to adjust the levels or off completely for my bidet, so as to increase water flow or use as a safety attachment in case you have kids that may turn on the bidet unintentionally. The unit fits structurally onto the bidet, was easy to install, and keeps the water flowing with no leaks. Overall, I was very happy with the metal quality construction of the adapter and its performance.
Use This Instead of the Plastic T-adapter
November 4, 2015
When installing the Luxe Bidet, I highly recommend using this valve instead of the plastic T-adapter that comes with the bidet. The plastic adapter does not have a shut-off valve. The shut-off valve allows you to control water pressure to a much greater degree than the dial on the bidet control panel. The pressure in our home is not particularly strong, but we still find that we have to reduce it a good bit using the shut-off valve. Then the bidet control dial works well for fine adjustments day-to-day and user-to-user.

great product
October 3, 2017
Very nice product. The installation is literally a fifteen minute project. The instructions tell you to push the plastic clips on but in reality they are meant to be screwed on. In fact DO NOT get metal nuts because that wont have any give and is likely to crack your bowl. The plastic nuts actually hold super tight when you tighten the screw. The fittings provided have seals at contact points such that teflon tape is not even needed. There is a filter on the inlet side and the inlet can be left or right sided (remove the small plug on the right side if you decide to use it - its under the plastic nut cover). In may case the T adapter and the plastic hose could easily reach either side but the right side was more appealing. The plastic seat will be far more durable compared to wooden seats. It is actually quite tough. Very nice product overall.
Excellent design and function

Love it! Replaced my old bidet with the Kohler bidet. Kohler's engineers thought of everything in this model. The bidet works as good as it looks. Very easy to install, use, and clean. The toilet seat is quite comfortable and does not cut-off circulation in my legs like other toilet seats (including padded seats). Great value for price.
Great. Don't deprive yourself any longer.

Why did I have to wait so long to enjoy the use of a bidet. This item works almost perfectly (nothing is perfect). Easy enough to install that a fumble fingers such as I could do it. Nice looking quality seat. I brag to my family about my new comfort commode.
This will tickle your fancy.
August 15, 2017
It does exactly what it's intended to do and it does it very well. The controls are elegant in how simple and usable they are.The plumbing parts are solid in quality and are easy to install. The "snap in" mechanism of the seat that attaches to the toilet did require some fiddling before it locked in properly. I would recommend Kohler put some attention on the quality of the plastic mount that screws to the toilet. It needs to be thicker and stiffer and made of a stronger material.

I agree with your assessment about preventing children playing with the bidet. I also purchase your bidet seat and I would suggest that you design the seat with a larger size on the front that is now only 3 inches. All the women in my family don't like the seat, that may require reducing the size of the bidet plumbing area to enlarge the opening.
Performs as advertised.

I have been using the bidet for several days and like it. This is the first bidet I have used in U.S. --first experience was in France--the full sized version. The product arrived promptly--well packed, and I believe well thought out and engineered. The metal T valve seems to be of very good quality. I had no problems installing the bidet. Some thoughts that might help you decide:1. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS--they are well written and quite good. I am a "handy man type", but feel anyone should be able to install if you are able to use a screw driver and pliers. I used method #2. One insert from #1 method would not fit my toilet. Toilet fault--not companies.2. Check that all parts are present--I unpacked mine over the kitchen table to make sure all parts were included. I received a couple of emails from the company concerning installation and if I ordered the correct bidet--in my case for elongated toilet. Company must have a miserable time with misorders.3. Works well, and the pressure seems fine with the installed regulator.4. The entire unit is plastic. The lid is probably the thinnest part--sit but don't stand. Seat seems sturdy and sits well on my toilet. Size of the opening is smaller than an elongated wood seat I had previously, but does not bother me. I'm 69 and 230 Lbs. (104.5454545454545454545454545454545454545454545454545454545454545 kg for everyone else in the world)) Seat does not slide around or flex.5. Was considering an electric bidet, but at $400 seemed a bit much to invest on something I might dislike. Thought I would try this first. Upon researching the more expensive options I decided that many of the functions of the more expensive bidets were not efficient EXCEPT the warm water.6. My main concern (other than the bidet working correctly) was the "cold" flush. I live in South Carolina and we do have some cold weather--but not near the level you northern types have. The water in the inside pipes is warmed by the inside temperature. The "cool" flush is fine. If the toilet is used more often where the water doesn't have a chance to warm somewhat than you snowbirds would probably receive a very unwelcome surprise. You probably could stand it for the short time needed, but I think I would purchase the electric heated bidet.Update (1/28/17) I was missing a small washer which I replaced with a washer from Home depot. The washer had to be customized since would not fit correctly in the part, but it worked. Contacted dealer and they told me where the washer should have been--that is why I knew it was missing--had checked earlier when unpacking on the kitchen table. They replaced the washer with the entire assembly of the supply tubing and washers. Complete overkill. Also sent priority mail. Really great product and dealer. Do not hesitate to purchase.
Works As Advertised

As a former Toto Washlet user now living in an apartment (without an electric outlet near the commode), I'd often wondered if there was some sort of alternative that didn't require electricity. After a lot of Google searching, I decided to try the GenieBidet Seat. It had lots of good reviews, was relatively inexpensive and since features like a heated seat and blow dryer weren't important to me, I gave it a try. I have to say that after 4 days I'm delighted with the unit. Installation was easy after a couple of purchases (a flex line to replace the "hard" water inlet line and two 5" SS carriage bolts since my GenieBidet sits on a 3 1/2" riser). Not having heated wash water isn't an issue, although I do live in the South. It's job is to wash and it works. We'll see how durable it turns out to be and not being able to judge that aspect is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. In terms of function only, I'd give it 5 stars.
Bidet and toilet seat all-in-one
August 30, 2016
It is a very good thing. I like how it works, and appreciate what it does. I learned about using a bidet when I got one for another toilet. It is an add-on, and the seat doesn't rest on the bowl the way it should. So I went for a one-piece bidet seat. This one closes properly, and has soft close feature. (I always try slamming the lid down, and watch it slowly sink down to close silently. I'm easily amused.) As others have commented, the top lid doesn't stay up easily, or at all if the seat is adjusted to fit the bowl, and the tank is too close. Luckily for me, the design of my toilet allows the top lid to lean back just enough to stay up. I read that some people take the top lid off due to this. That wouldn't be good. Another possible con is that the thing is a bit clunky and partially covers the bowl. Stuff can get underneath as well. However, there's a button on the side that allows you to easily slide the lid off and on for cleaning. The mechanism for attaching the bidet to the toilet is a bit different, and takes a little adjusting, but I found it quite easy to install, and holds the lid firmly in place.
Very very nice looking seat
June 27, 2016
Very very nice looking seat. The name is appropriate. I have had many bolt on bidet seats and this one looks so much nicer than all the others. It is a bit pricey compared to the others but it is also less expensive than some of the alternatives as well. There was a lot of thought that went into this unit. The soft grippy rubber feet is a very nice touch which prevents side to side motion on the seat covers. Many seat makers do not even have rubber at all. The hose routing is beautiful with the elbow and the good quality nut does not mar when you apply a wrench to it. There is a lot of protection on all the parts to prevent damage during shipping. Well done! For me the compression nuts kept popping out so I had to use the regular nuts to fasten the seat. This was fine for me. Keep in mind that the seat is a bit thicker on the rear side and tapers towards the front of thetoilet. Because of this the user may sit on a slight angle and be further forward than on a conventional seat. My house pressure is 62 psi. The documentation stated that the spray pressure may be low if your house psi is 10 psi. I have never heard of 10psi in a house as that is extremely low so this may be a typo. For me the spray pressure was very low so I followed the directions and removed the limiter. Now the pressure is much better. I have only had the unit for about a week and so far I like it. I have an elongated toilet and the opening of the seat seems quite a bit smaller than a conventional seat. If you have a round shorter seat I would think it would be too small but I have not tried the shorter model. I would fit one in every bathroom except for the cost. I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 only due to the price. If it was lets say $65 I would give it a 5 and buy one for every bathroom.
Easy to install, two nozzle bidet
April 22, 2016
Very easy to install, and works perfectly. One of the best parts is that there is NO problem with fitting. I bought a cheaper (seemingly) BioBidet underseat bidet. It didn't fit with my existing wood toilet seat. I then bought a Bemis plastic seat, since the Amazon community advised that plastic seats fit the separate bidet. This one doesn't. The seat tilts, and the back bumpers don't touch the toilet bowl. Save yourself a LOT of time, trouble and expense and buy the integrated seat plus bidet. Only downside: I bought a new braided stainless steel supply line to connect the water supply. Fluid master advises to use a new one if the old one is more than five years old. The supplied tubing that carries water from the "T" connector to the bidet is plastic. Hopefully it will last. The supplied "T" connector is only plastic, so I bought a Luxe metal T adapter. It's pretty, sturdy, and offers a bonus ability to regulate the pressure of the water going to the bidet. The two nozzles are properly aligned to deliver water to the selected areas.Installation, start to finish, was only about 20 minutes, and I'm no plumber.
I'll buy again!

Exceeded my expectations! Having moved to a different house two years ago...leaving behind a Biffy bidet attachment...I had been looking for a new bidet attachment. The GenieBidet is an excellent upgrade for a few reasons. One, the water spray comes from behind and beneath the seat (no 'wand' to get dirty and need cleaning). Two, there are two distinct sprayers...one aimed at rectal cleaning and the other cleansing feminine parts (as a female I appreciate both streams). Three, there is no lever handle protruding from the side (lever is fairly flush...no pun intended...with the seat). Four, because the unit is an entire seat, it looks elegant. The seat itself has a 'slow closing' seat and lid which is nice, however my ONLY complaint would be the seat is plastic and not as heave duty as the more solid seat it replaced and the connection T is also plastic. Installation was fairly easy, but I had previously installed a Biffy and have replaced toilet seats in the past.I had some leaking occurring at installation but got immediate, polite, effective help via a phone call (from an understandable English speaker!!). Also appreciated (but not needed by myself) was an email immediately following my order warning me the seat was for an ELONGATED toilet seat.Because we have a cabin, I am going to order another GenieBidet Seat!

Bumpers for your toilet.
October 22, 2017
Working well so far, though I agree with other reviews that the tape that comes with is not the greatest. They were also just a bit taller than the bumpers that were originally on the toilet seat. But, they definitely helped and for the price, they are worth it.
The bumpers are very good, however the sticky pads did not hold

The bumpers are very good, however the sticky pads did not hold. I replaced them with Contact Cement, and all is well. Well worth the money, if you use Contact Cement.
Other than the adhesive the company uses could be a bit better the product is good

One of the large bumpers came off shortly after putting them on and I'm guessing was flushed because I never found it. Other than the adhesive the company uses could be a bit better the product is good.
Sticky problem

Work great but the sticky backing that came with the product was not strong enough to hold in place - had to use glue. Size and shape are perfect for the new bidet.

Used these with a luxe bidet. I've already had to fish them out of the toilet twice. Have some rubber cement or replacement adhesive tape ready to install them with.
I imagine they are perfect if you have a bidet
December 17, 2016
Ok, so to be fair, I bought these as weight displacement bumpers for a new toilet seat I purchased after my rather ample bottom snapped ours. They are a fraction of an inch higher than the default bumper on the seat. So the seat sticks up a little until weight is put on it. I imagine they are perfect if you have a bidet, to make up for the gap. I guess a bidet might be in my near future... all in all, my seat feels a lot more solid on the bowl now.

Like the security of metal!
September 25, 2017
I like the idea of a metal T valve better than plastic so I ordered this along with my Luxe 120 bidet. The pressure adjuster might be more helpful for someone with stronger water pressure than I have. In my case, it's just the security of metal over plastic that benefits me.
Nice
August 31, 2017
I am giving this a 4 star because it did leak on my bidet from Luxe. But I gave it to a neighbor that needed it for something else so all is not lost. Luxe sent me another t-adaptor and it worked great. So I am set now thanks to them.
Works for the most part
July 28, 2016
After having a leak from installing our Luxe Bidets plastic adapter their customer service reached out to us and shipped us one of these. Leak is now fixed but I don't feel the pressure really was adjusted no matter which way it is turned. After a half hour of trying to fiddle with that and the toliet we decided to call it quits and just accept it as it is and we're just happy the leak was fixed.
Don't give up hope!
June 2, 2016
Like most people, my plastic adaptor was leaking a little bit so I decided to give this a go. This product, on the other hand, leaked like a geyser upon initial installation. After many attempts I rage quit and decided to try again the day after. I was convinced, like others that have written reviews, that this adaptor simply wasn't compatible with my plumbing hookup.Day 2: first few attempts were still failures. Not sure if it became a witching hour or full moon or whatever but on my last try before I pitched the whole thing, I was able to get the adaptor correctly hooked up. Where I was having issues was at the screw part directly on the toilet. Now, there's no leaks at all, and the bidet still works beautifully.
Contact Luxe Bidet Customer Care...
June 6, 2014
Although the premise of controlling the flow to the bidet without disturbing the flow to the toilet sounds great, the product leaks no matter what was tried.Looks like this is an ongoing issue with this product not working with the provided hoses. It leaks from the 15/16" threads. I tried plumbers tape... tried loosening, then tightening..re-seated it several times but the thing still leaked.Luckily the cheaper plastic T-connector (included with the LuxeBidet) works great and does not leak.I should have read more reviews on this product before ordering -- but live and learn.***UPDATE***After the customer support team received my email about my problems with the unit they immediately contacted me back and shipped a replacement. They are the best customer service people I have dealt with in recent years. Here was their explanation:"We will get this investigated right away. The T-adapters are working perfectly in 99% of the cases, however, a few complaints we had, we thought, were due to the black washer not being effective enough. In our newer shipment, we improved (thickened) the black washer. We will also look into your thought that it may be some incompatibility between the hose and the T-adapter. I have expedited the shipment of this T-adapter and you will get an email within 24 hours. If you feel that it is the hose, we will also reimburse for any expense that you may incur on purchasing a different hose. We will try our best to make sure that you get a working metal T-adapter for your bidet. We will also investigate this issue at our end. Feel free to contact us at anytime with any other questions or comments.Sincerely,AndyCustomer Care"They shipped a replacement T-adapter and it worked perfectly... no leaks. One recommendation, just hand tighten the adapter and hoses... any extra torque appeared to foster leaking.
Really like being able to adjust the pressure
April 18, 2014
My toilet does not have a shut-off valve and I have not been able to loosen the fitting at the floor to the stainless steel flex hose to add one. So I really needed a way to adjust the pressure. This shut-off valve is well made but it did not come with a rubber gasket for where it attaches to the underside of the toilet. I tried using the gasket that came with the plastic valve but it leaked like crazy. The plastic valve and the metal valve are configured differently at this connection. So I dug around in my plumbing stuff for a cone shaped gasket -- more like what was on the stainless steel flex hose that had been attached to the underside of the toilet. This worked perfectly. No more leaks! BTW the directions for the bidet show a cone shaped gasket but that is not what you get. The gasket that comes with the bidet and the plastic tee is shaped more like a hollow top hat.So, if I decide to order a second bidet for my other bathroom (also no shut-off valve) I will be sure and get a cone shaped gasket that fits this metal tee before I start my installation.Update May 1, 2014: The Luxe folks contacted me through Amazon after my review went live. They said I should have gotten a rubber gasket with this valve and apologized for it being missing. So I asked them to send me the proper gasket. They said they couldn't do that but they could send me a whole new valve assembly including gasket and it came a few days later. I am extremely impressed with their customer service.

Sturdy seat
October 14, 2017
Sturdy, but cold water only option too cold for my mother.
Comfortable seating device!
June 25, 2017
I was pleasantly surprised with the seat. I just wish the arm was longer! I read all the reviews before purchasing it and can not agree with the fit. We bought longest "screws" to attach the seat and it has not wiggled or shifted. It is very comfortable , yet one must manuever some for a thorough cleaning! Will take that over another band, more expensive, any day! Well worth the money!
Excellent Manual Bidet Seat
June 14, 2017
Running electric for a brondell was out of the question in our condo (I have them in our regular home) so we went with this Kohler manual. Pleasantly surprised at how nice a manual one could be if you don't mind not having the bells and whistles of a high end electric one. Definitely would recommend this for a nice basic one.
Very good bidet seat.
February 19, 2017
I am not very good at installing things but this was pretty much a breeze. One review stated that the toilet seat plastic bolts were not very sturdy and that's true I went to a hardware store and got a couple of metal bolts to keep the seat from moving around. Make sure you follow the instructions about installing the hose and not tightening the hose attachments too tight. In my opinion, this doesn't replace a real bidet but it's about as close as you can come without doing major installation and plumbing work at such a cheap price. The water flow is pretty good and gets the job done. A real bidet with water shooting directly up from the bidet shoot does a better job for sure, look for less than $100 you really can't beat this product.
Works well
December 18, 2016
This is an elegant looking fixture, and it works as intended. My wife finds the seat uncomfortable. I'm ok with it. I really like how it has an "all in one" layout, and the quick release for cleaning is really great! My complaint is this feels a little "chincy" for the price they are asking for this thing. Though, it does have a lot of features.
Aesthetically nice but could use some operations refinements
April 30, 2016
This is an amazingly sleek and unassuming bidet seat. The installation took me approximately 2 1/2 hours. In the first week of installation, the product appears to be functioning well in general. Notes: Instructions on how to tighten the toilet seat to the toilet are vague. And the toilet seat does move from side to side by a couple inches which is annoying. All attempts to remove the toilet seat and tighten the seat have failed. It comes with three nozzles for three different kinds of pressure. I needed to replace the sprayhead to the more powerful one. The unique design is that there is a handle that positions the spray nozzle higher or lower under the body to reach different spots. With more expensive bidet seats, the spray nozzle is usually perfectly positioned to hit the anal entrance. However, this Kohler bidet seat requires you to sit at a specific angle and towards the back for the stream to hit the right spot. The bottom line is that this is a good aesthetic choice, but requires some refinement of bidet operations that other manufacturers get more correct.

Love bidets, but this one just didn't stay put
September 6, 2017
I've had a Luxe Neo 120 Bidet before that worked great. The fiance said I can't have that one in the new house as it looked funny. So I opted for this one since it looks more "normal."The installation was easy enough but just in the first two days the bidet would move - usually towards the back towards the tank. It didn't matter how tight I installed it or what hardware I used, it was always loose.Second issue was that the design was weird. While I had oval toilet bowl, the bidet hung over on the sides. Maybe my toilet was odd-shaped? Because of this, it also made it feel like my toilet was half the size that it really was because the back piece blocked half the toilet.I love soft close, but this one is a little too soft. I felt like it took, literally, 30 seconds to close. This isn't long in the grand scheme of things and admittedly it may just be me being weird, but it felt odd.Last but not least, this seat is massive. It totally blocked the handle so people thought the bidet handle was the flusher and then they would get sprayed.
Easier to clean but there are a few issues that need to be resolved
October 24, 2016
We purchased 3 of these for the elongated toilet seats in our new home. My husband installed 2 of them and wants me to return the other one because of two issues: 1) the o-ring does not have a tight seal; and 2) a big issue is that the toilet seats want to close before we can even get on the toilet. He also says that the bidet that we previously had had more water pressure. I will update my review if there are fixes for these issues.
Two easy fixes and it would be perfect
October 22, 2016
This is my third bidet. I love the idea of it. So easy to install, and it looks like a regular toilet seat. I also love the slow closing seat cover.I find two flaws in this model. First is the quality of the plastic seat. It squeaks every time you move. It's loud and cannot be remedied with WD40. Second and more important is how very high the spay nozzles are. They are close enough to touch your bottom. If they were lowered by at least an inch that would not happen.
Not sure I made the BEST choice, but it's a good starter bidet.
August 4, 2016
I like having a bidet, but this one doesn't have a very strong spraying capability and I can't tell the difference between the front and back spray. Seems to both hit in the same spot. This being my first bidet, I will use it as long as it holds out and will probably go with a much more expensive one next time. For the money, it was worth trying before spending a lot.
Seat won't stay up
June 3, 2016
Wouldn't work for me. I REALLY wanted it to. Unfortunately, when installed per the template the lid won't stay up on it's own. So when you sit you have a toilet seat lid resting on your back. When you stand to pee you would have to hold the lid open or you would make a mess. If I ignored the template and installed the seat far enough forward to stay "open" on it's own the front of the seat doesn't cover the front of the bowl itself.Very disappointing.
Good, but could be better
April 7, 2016
It is easy to install, as has been promised. So far, it works OK. The seat fits well on the elongated toilet, but a cut in the seat is much smaller than the opening of the toilet bowl, which defeats the purpose of having elongated toilet bowl in the first place. After some time of using this product I have some negative points:1. Vertically located operational lever makes a possibility of it incidental tripping very probable.2. A legend for the lever is located very inconvenient: it's invisible for the first time user (guest).3. As I already mentioned - a cut in the elongated seat is too small.A proposal: could a manufacturer produce at least two possible colors, not just white, as the toilet seats go?

Be sure you actually need this before ordering.... MUCH smaller than I expected and attach using adhesive strip...
September 17, 2017
Bought to use with bidet kit. Didn't end up using them. Not necessary after all. Seems attachment with adhesive strips may not be the most sanitary version of attachment... not sure though what the alternative would be - using screws? More holes would be more areas for bacteria to hide....
Not the best adhesive.
September 6, 2017
"They're okay" seems about right. The problem is that the adhesive just isn't good enough. It'll last for awhile and, if you use some glue, you can probably get plenty of use out of them; but if you depend on the included adhesive you'll eventually hear a splash and see that one of these has somehow ended up in the drink.
Needs stickier adhesive...

They do what they're supposed to but they don't stick for very long. I've had to replace the original tape that came with it several times now. Would be nice if there was a product that stuck well to the toilet.

Would have been just as useful and less expensive if it were just a "Y". The valve part is redundant.
and tweaked the supply valve at same time and got everything adjusted to the best possible point
August 5, 2016
The adjustment is not fine-tuneable enough. I'm using it with a Luxe Neo 120 bidet. I experimented with this in different levels of open/close, and tweaked the supply valve at same time and got everything adjusted to the best possible point. Even then, the bidet's pressure knob still doesn't allow great fine tuning. As soon as you turn the knob, just the tiniest amount you can turn it, that is basically a comfortable pressure level. If you go any more than that it's like Drake's song....0 to 100 REAL QUICK.I would still recommend using this if you have one of the non-electric bidets, because without it, the pressure sensitivity is even worse. Oh and the plastic one the Luxe products come with is straight TRASH and WILL leak if there is even the tiniest amount of lateral force placed on the fitting due to the stiffness/tension of the supply line, which is most cases there will be. Save yourself the hassle and buy this at the same time so you can do the install once and get it up and running the first time.
Works good for cold water, but doesn't stop hot water line
April 25, 2015
Ok, so this is more of a 1 star product if you have a hot and cold water bidet. This product ONLY shuts off the cold water flow -- hot will flow just fine with this switched off. I wish that would have been a little clearer in the description. It does do a good job of completely block the cold water. It looks nice (although in my case it is hidden behind the toilet) and seems heavy duty.Installation was fine -- same process as the plastic stock one, and there have been no leaks.I think a shutoff valve should be a standard feature on the bidets or at least higher end models. We have 4 bathrooms -- if this feature was standard I'd probably get a bidet for each bathroom. With curious kids and no way to fully shut it off that isn't going to happen.
High quality, needs more threading to use on a toilet.
January 3, 2015
This is a high quality T-adapter with one problem, it doesn't fit the plastic connector at the bottom of my toilet. The nut doesn't have enough threading to grab the connector and hold it tight to the gasket, and so it sprays water. I will keep it though, and use it as a shower adapter where the connections are all metal.
OK, not great and overpriced
December 18, 2013
Just like the bidet this adapter is made for, it's ok, not great. It's easy to install and you can lower the bidet water pressure with it - which makes the use of the bidet a less stressful experience - but it also lowers the water pressure going into the toilette tank, so now it takes a little longer for it to fill. The bidet water pressure is still not variable with the bidet's control handle. It's either on or off. And with the lower water pressure the bidet's self cleaning feature doesn't seem to work very well. So you win something and you loose some things... And if you add the price of the adapter to the price of the bidet, the whole package is not that great of a deal anymore.

Great idea; flawed execution
July 18, 2017
It has a tendency to close on the person sitting on it. Otherwise great
a bit uncomfortable
July 13, 2017
It's okay. I got this because my toilet is a Kohler and I figured it would match (it only sort of matches but at least is compatible with my bowl and tank). The installation was easy, and now having the washlet is extremely convenient and hygenic. Even turning it on and adjusting the aim on the water spray is super easy with the simple handle. My only problem is the comfort. About 3/4 of the way back from the front of the bowl the seat starts sloping up, to account for space needed for the inner workings of the washlet. This makes it 'feel' like the toilet seat is smaller. I'd even venture to say it feels smaller than a round bowl. One of the problems is there is nowhere to try before you buy. If you order this, I recommend that you install the seat on the bowl, but before you connect the water supply take a seat on it. Spend some time on it. Play games on your phone like you normally would when you're in the bathroom (for some reason this seat made both my legs fall asleep after about a minute, vs. my old, normal seat only my left leg would fall asleep and it would take much, much longer). If you think it's comfortable, then proceed with connecting the water. Otherwise, pack it back up and return it. Maybe look for a more flat bidet seat. It may cost more, but it might be worth it.

Kohler use to have a good name.
July 1, 2016
First the the seat is smaller than regular elongated seat. Second the bracket that hold seat down... plastic split nuts... had to go buy hardware to fasten seat to commode. Kohler use to have a good name.. I use to do in house maintenance for landlords and property mgr. The clip bracket that connect to the seat bracket kind of flimsy... hope it holds.. lets the seat move a little. I don't think the engineer who design this didn't realize how mush punishment a commode seat go thru in it's life time.

The T-adapter that comes with it is useless and you have to buy a different one, reason being the 7/8" thread for the water line connection is too short which causes water leak. The product is certainly more stylish than toilet seat attachments, but the water pressure is very low, even after removing the water pressure regulator. I have two LUXE Bidet Vi-110 I'm very satisfied with. For half the price, you get a much better product that works the way it's supposed to.
Cosmetic flaws
July 28, 2016
Works fine but after installing I go to remove the plastic protector on the seat just to find the part has been buffed. It has several obvious buffing swirls that don't look nice or match the original smooth plastic. Also seat likes to fall down due to the seat being a little taller resulting in it hitting the tank early. Adjusting seat far foreword helped a little.
What kind of toilet does it fit?
February 12, 2016
It must be for very small oval toilets. It doesn't fit my toilet. The toilet tank connector is flimsy plastic and it leaks no matter what I tried.

1 remaining in place after 6 months. Bought these because it was a suggested item with my bidet. My bidet is awesome. These bumpers though don't stay in place and I'm lucky 1 remains where I placed it. That's probably the most crucial 1.

This is a good concept but it needs to be stickier because they fell off after one day and I had to reinforce it myself.

The glue or the sticky side doesn't work..... the bumpers fell after two weeks of use...
Does not stick well!
May 20, 2017
Not happy at all with this. One side unstuck after a month and got flushed down. The only reason I didn't give them one star is that it is a great deal.

Wouldn't stop leaking.
May 6, 2017
Couldn't get these to stop leaking when installing with 2 of my NEO120 Luxe Bidet, so I just went with the plastic T-valves that came with the bidets. These didn't come with the correct cone-shaped washer in the end that attaches to the toilets.Unfortunately, it's too late to return them.
Could not get a good seal
May 3, 2017
This did not work for me w/the Luxe Bidet Neo 120. I could not get a good seal between the toilet and adapter. I had to go with the plastic T-Adapter that came with the original Luxe Bidet Neo 120. The reason I spent the extra money for this was the reports on Amazon of the plastic adapter not working well. I have not found that to be the case.
Looks like quality, but I didn't need it.
July 15, 2016
I ordered this because the Luxe Bidets I installed had a little too much pressure. I found out I could temper the water flow by opening the clean valve, so I didn't install it.

September 14, 2015
I have had this for about 1 month and it is not used on a daily basis. I always turn it off when I am not using the bidet. Today, I noticed that it does not shut off the flow of water completely anymore. In the shut-off position, a small flow of water is still getting through. I purchased this as an extra precaution against the Luxe Bidet Neo 120 bidet leaking, but that peace of mind has been shattered now that I see that it will no longer completely shut off the flow of water after only a month of use.
Interaction between control of output
June 30, 2015
This valve is designed so that there is an interaction between the control of the two outlets---as you open 1 it closes the other. This makes for a delicate balancing act to set it as you want it, most importantly leading to a really, really long fill cycle for the toilet unless you reduce the bidet pressure to an ineffective level (even wide open the flow to the toiled is severely impeded. I have replaced these with simple shower flow control valves on the bidet line that allow unimpeded flow to the toilet and easier, better control of the bidet pressure. They are also cheaper.
Might not do what you think.
August 30, 2014
The Adapter was a disappointment. The top connection (that screws into the Water Tank thru the Float / Ball Cock to release water). It simply screws into the T adapter. I thought this was joined to the T Adapter permanently. That made trying to connect this a royal pain. After all was connected. And water from the Wall Water Valve opened full.I had no water pressure for the Float / Ball Cock (the items that fills the Water Tank).I had bought this to hook up to a Luxe Bidet Neo 120.So I tried the Bidet.....hardly any water pressure.Flipped the Adapter. Now no water pressure for the Bidet. And the Water Tank slowly filled because of hardly any water pressure. The holes on this thing are tiny....so your not going to get water going at all. Either Way.I was under the assumption that this was to either: Have full water going to the Bidet and Water Tank. OR. Go turn lower or turn off water pressure to the Bidet and Water Tank. What this does is: Either hardly any water pressure to Water Tank and none to Bidet OR hardly any water pressure to Bidet and none to the Water Tank.I installed the Plastic T-Connection that came with the Luxe Bidet Neo 120 (which the top that connects to the Float/Ball Cock is part of the Plastic T-Connection....its fully connected and spins unlike the Luxe Metal T-adapter) and hey plenty of water pressure to the Water Tank and Bidet. I can now fill the tank in normal time/speed and the Bidet pressure now....lets say makes me worried about injury down below if I choose full blast. So just note: This connector doesn't control the Water Tank and Bidet Pressure together. Its a one or the other.....and both are weak because the holes are too small.

Brilliant Design, Poor Construction!
September 22, 2017
I recently purchased 2 of these units, and both leak at the side handle that turns the water on and adjusts the flow rate. These appear to be sealed, so there seems to be nothing I can do to fix this. The simple design is very effective and brilliant, which is why I'm giving this product 2 stars. The quality is pretty much non-existant, which for a Kohler product really really disappoints me and is why I can only give it 2 stars. I can live with the cheap, hollow plastic seat and the cheap plastic lid. I do not like the plastic fitting on which the water hose attaches to the back of the seat. What I cannot live with is a leak, and right now the score is 2 for 2 in exactly the same place. I would not be surprised if the valve in the handle is cheap plastic too, but I cannot get in there to see or fix it. This is really too bad because I think the simple design is about the best idea for a bidet seat out there, and being able to adjust the water pressure and angle with the handle works really, really well. Too bad the quality doesn't complement the design, or in my opinion Kohler could sell a great number of these seats, and I would have very highly recommended it. Instead, I cannot recommend a bidet seat that leaks on my floor.
I really liked this seat and the ease of installation
July 15, 2017
I really liked this seat and the ease of installation. Unfortunately it leaks at the handle where you turn it on. Not sure if we got a lemon, but think we will try a different brand.
great if only the lid stayed up!
June 23, 2017
nice seat and works well but the lid does not stay up. whether lifting the lid to pee or sitting on the seat, the lid constanty falls during use and that's very annoying and gross. i don't see any where i can loosen the hinges. i've had it for 3 months thinking it would loosen over time but it's actually gotten worse and falls EVERY TIME!

February 26, 2017
We received this unit a week ago, it looks good and works well too. Easy to install also. The problem is the lid. It just won't stay up. It is beyond annoying to have the lid hit your back continuously
Bidet Misses the Mark for Build Quality
September 8, 2016
The lid is a flimsy plastic that I wouldn't expect in a Kohler product - the low build quality is a big disappointment. I also wouldn't dare anyone over 150lbs to sit on the lid. I've place this seat on a Kohler toilet and I also have the "loose seat fitting" problem described in other reviews. There is no need to buy the Amazon suggested T adaptor since one is included with the seat (unless you need an on/off switch to the seat.) I also don't know why Amazon recommends the new seat bumpers - they are unnecessary as well. The thing does its job, but I'd return it if it wasn't such a hassle. I'm not aware of any better product in this price range however.I hope this helps.

June 25, 2017
Very nice construction, would like to have this shutoff for when we have visitors with inquisitive children. Had to return it because the GenieBidet hookup uses either some metric or 7/16. The included hose is a standard 3/8 on the small end and won't fit. No one seems to carry the flex hose I need and would have had to cobble together mutiple adapters to make this work.
I cannot get a good fit connecting to the tank
March 13, 2017
Items seem to be well made, however, the T-adapter acts as if the threads are crossed. I cannot get a good fit connecting to the tank. I sent the seller a note describing my issue. They never responded. I will not buy from this seller in the future.

Nice idea, but cheap execution.
August 30, 2017
After just over 3 months of owning this I recently relized I stopped using the water feature on this seat about two months ago. The seat hole is way too small, cleaning with the water is subpar, probably because it's cold water. It basically just gets you all wet, still have to use the same amount of dry paper followed by wet wipes to clean. The seat and bowl need constant cleaning which isn't very easy due to the design. The seat makes so much squeaking noise while on it. It's very cheap plastic, the toplid shows a ton of straches after the first cleaning of it. It doesn't stay positioned on the bowl and contatly needs readjustment. Should've retuned it. About to remove it and trash it, it's more of an issue that what it's worth.

January 9, 2017
The plumbing that comes with it is garbage. I spent a month using 3 different sets of plumbing (hose and T adapter) from the manufacturer trying to get this thing to stop leaking like crazy. It leaked at every connection at different points and the cheap hose and adapter would never seal right. Tried several different gaskets that were sent with as well as purchasing some of my own. I finally went to the hardware store and bought a separate T adapter that connects to the water source in the bathroom and hose. I had it fixed in 5 minutes using quality parts that only cost $10.It's also a cheap plastic seat that was poorly designed. The way it mounts to the toilet makes it so it does not fit well with the seat up and the seat slides around on the mounting. There are much better options. You are better of buying an under the seat bidet and a nice toilet seat for the same amount of money. All in all just a very poorly designed and made product. Seems like they were more interested in trying to make it look nice than actually function properly.
Beware

Poor quality it leaks. Very disappointed with this product.
Cheaply made, does not last.
December 20, 2016
Seemed fine at first but small clips that connect it to the base are now broken and it slides around. Didn't last a year, I have no idea if there was a warranty but too late to return to amazon. Not worth the price if I have to buy a new one every year :(

No sticking power
July 23, 2017
They did not stick from the very first day I tried to stick them on underneath the toilet seat. I tried several times and nothing. The stickers that they provided wouldn't even stick to my skin. They fell in the toilet and I had to go fishing for them.
Forget it
May 25, 2017
Well, not only did it not fix the problem of the space, after two weeks one of the bumpers on each of the two bowls, fell into the toilet and got flushed. Threw it away. It does not stick for long.
Use Spacers instead of Bumpers
February 25, 2016
There's a simpler, much cheaper, and longer-lasting alternative to using these bumpers to close the new gap at the front-end of the toilet seat created by inserting the bidet attachment under the back-end: for $1.50 I bought a pair of 1x3/8x3/8" spacers through which I inserted the two screws that hold the seat to the toilet bowl. The spacers were placed between the bidet and the seat. This changes the angle of the seat so the front of the seat is resting on the toilet again instead of being cantilevered with a gap above it.
Nice bumpers, bad choice of adhesive pads!
June 2, 2015
I read the reviews and thought, I will make this work. Two days later, three of the four are gone. I carefully cleaned both surfaces and made sure to only stick them once and put a lot of pressure on them to get good contact. They seemed like they were going to hold up well, but one was gone after the first day and two more on the second day. The worst part is that they must have ended up in the bowl so they can't even be reattached somehow. The bumpers are good quality, but the adhesive pads are not strong enough for this application. If you buy them, I would use some other method of putting them on.

The glue which is supposed to make it stay in place doesn't work.So the end result is that this is a useless product -- unless you buy your own superglue to stick it -- else tell the seller to stick it.
Dont waste money on this product.
September 22, 2013
I have never given 1 star to any other product here in Amazon. But I had to give a low rating as I don’t think this product is ready for use. I have a plastic toilet seat and so I didn’t want to buy bumpers with screws. I decided to use this product that sticks to toilet seat. The package contains 4 bumpers as shown in the product photo’s and a rectangular adhesive tape with bumper shape perforations. One side of the tape sticks to the bumper and the other side goes on to the toilet seat. The tape adhesive is of poor quality and cannot hold the bumpers. 3 of the 4 bumpers came off in less than a week. The tape is still sticking to the seat but the bumpers are gone.

Leaky
May 10, 2017
I had this a while before I was able to get around to installing it on our bidet. Too bad, because I would have returned it since it leaked badly. It looks good and feels good, however.
Leaks not worth buying
April 13, 2017
The quality of this adapter looked really good, but I could not get a leak free connection no matter what I tried! I ended up returning this item because of the leak.Opt for the slightly more expensive Aquauas model
It's leaks.
September 16, 2016
Just like their plastic one that comes with the actual bidet itself. Something about their plastic washer is simply not right. It leaks from under it, and I've screwed it on as hard as I can to prevent it, but regardless, it leaks. Even with plumbing tape, etc. These must all be manufactured wrong. I regret buying their entire bidet now because you cannot get this part to work properly at all making the bidet useless.
Adapter is defective for two reasons
December 7, 2014
First two positives: The product is nicely chromed. The valve function is smooth.I bought this to use with the Neo 110 which is its advertised and recomended purpose. I see no logical reason why these defects would not be relevant to all of the Luxe bidet models. Now the problems: (1) The threading on the supply side fitting is so over chromed that the supply line cannot be properly tightened against its gasket. Since the supply line hose requires a tight compresion of its washer gasket to form a seal that means the fitting will absolutely leak. (2) Even if it fit the supply line, the adapter would be defective in that not only reduces flow to the bidet, but also reduces flow to the toilet tank. If you use this valve to reduce water pressure at the bidet, you would extend tank refill duration to an unacceptable point.I have abandoned and will return this adapter. The supply line did attach well to the flimsy plastic T which is unfortunately subject to a lot of stress as you connect and tighten nuts to the tank, the supply line and to the bidet.

July 8, 2014
The design is faulty. If you look inside the threading where this T-Adapter attaches to the water supply (the bottom threading on the picture), you will see that there is just a tiny hole for the water to go through. This caused leaking due to the inability of this t-adapter to handle pressure. This is a faulty design, where the water inlet and water outlet (to tank) should have been a straight pass through, and the shut-off valve should have been on the side, instead of the shut-off valve reducing the size for which the water passes through to a hole the size of a pea. I will try to post a picture of what I mean.
Leaking
January 19, 2014
I could not get this connector to stop leaking despite tightening it as much as I could. The leak occurs underneath the top nut. The issue is that the whole tee connector spins around, despite tightening the top nut to the toilet tank. I went back to using the cheap plastic connector, rather than deal with the hassle of exchanges. For the price I am not sure if it's worth it, even if it worked.

This was pretty much THE PERFECT retrofit bidet seat
August 15, 2017
This was pretty much THE PERFECT retrofit bidet seat. You can literally move the direction (front to back at least). It would be nice to see full range of motion, but regardless I thought this was THE BEST. I have had chronic IBS for several years now, and this alleviated all that pain from toilet paper friction. Not 100% but I was able to significantly reduce TP use and still feel comfortable and clean. One problem....2-3 months of use, and it began to leak out of the controls and onto the floor....Would love to give this the gleaming review it deserves, it is just not reliable enough. Also, loaded this thing on to a newly purchased kohler toilet(elongated), but the thing fit like terribleness.....I read ads on 'perfect fit' and color match between your seats and toilets...but this is not executed, and is just a slogan

I received the seat today. I have another brand bidet seat in the guest bath. It was wonderful. The master bath has a 16" wide elongated seat so I pleased to find this Kohler with a 17" wide seat as per the product description. Perfect! The seat I got is 13 1/2" wide! My other issue is with amazon. I purchased the lesser priced seat with the assurance from Amazon that ONLY the package was damaged. Well, it came with a re taped package and NO instructions (which I didn't really need) and NO plumbing attachments which I need. Come on now.....

Flawed..
September 19, 2016
Had high expectations from this adapter. However, after couple failed attempts to install this adapter made me realize the design flaw. The thread end where the supply hose connects from the main is shorter than normal. This results in a connection which is not water tight and always leaks. It doesn't make it to the rubber seal on the supply hose. I went and bought a new supply line and result was the same... Also, the measurement on the picture shows 2.75" height. The adapter I received is 2.5" in height.
