Good file cabinet for the money. Mine was received in perfect condition and fits my needs perfectly.

First off, I needed a smaller file cabinet for the office space available, and I knew before ordering that is was not as durable as a regular heavy metal file cabinet, but definitely meets all my expectations and filing needs. I especially like having a smaller top drawer, which holds my small organizational baskets( for pens, post-it notes, clips, etc). Several co-workers have also admired that feature and asked where I found a file cabinet like this. As a supervisor, the other feature that I liked was that only the top 2 drawers lock (for my private reports, papers, etc.) and then one large filing drawer is available for files that may be utilized by others. Good Service, easy to put together, and Great price!

Just moved in to a new place, had file cabinets already but my shorter ones were still too tall, bummer. I ordered two of these and they're great! I replaced the handles so they matched my existing office storage space. I specifically like the small drawer on top, provides a convenient place to store filing supplies in one and mailing supplies in the other. Built-in hanging file supports so much easier than the metal-framed ones I've had to install in other file cabinets. Very happy with the product and the packaging.

Is very light not very good material. It comes done which is a plus , but is weak and forget about a fire it will not protect your documents, but I am keeping it.

Good choice to hold documents in a home office. Came assembled and just required screwing in the handles. No wheels, which is no big deal to me, and the bottommost drawer does not lock. Sturdy enough to put stuff on top of it without any worries, but not super tough-- if someone really wanted into the top drawers and had the right tools, they could get in, but they'd likely have to damage the cabinet to do it. No nicks or scratches when it came in the mail. One note: if this arrives and you just can't find where the keys are, tip the cabinet over a little, shaking the very bottom of the cabinet. My keys fell out when I did that.

I already had one liked it so searched online to find another one. Its the same file cabinet except for the handles which I knew before I purchased so I am completely satisfied. I used them to make a desk. They are very light weight but they are holding their own very well. If I needed more I would purchase this item again :)

These are great! They're standard hanging file folders in a classic green, and the quality seems to be on par with any other brand. Great price compared to local office supply stores. Not a huge fan of the fact that they have to stay in the shipping-style cardboard box, but I guess it saves on waste. Just a little annoying to keep in my cabinet. Wish you could buy larger amounts for a small savings!

These hanging file folders do exactly what you would anticipate a hanging file folder would do. They seem durable enough and work great in my filing cabinets (paired with a file frame and file folders I also bought on Amazon--this is the best place to buy office supplies). Mostly the best part is the price. If you're a writer and student like me, you need to file a lot of paperwork. These work great!

I'm getting a lot of use out of these files! They fit in standard filing drawer and can suprisingly hold pretty heavy loads!

These Amazon file folders work perfect in any office space. Let me tell you how to set them up (because there are some people writing reviews stating that they don't work).1. Tear each of the labels at the perforated lines. There will be some small sections at the end of each strip that are trash.2. Place the label inside of the plastic sleeves. You can have the small section jutting out, or you can fold it behind the larger label.3. This is very important. The plastic sleeves go in between the slits in the tops of the folders. If you have it in correctly, it should be snug in place and not fall over! The plastic sleeves are also slanted for a reason. They are supposed to lean away from you, not towards you.You can also use a simple algorithm such as this to organize your folders: Tab 01(A-B) Tab 02(C-D) Tab 03(E-G) Tab 04(H-J) Tab 05(K-M) Tab 06(N-P) Tab 07(Q-S) Tab 08(T-V) Tab 09(W-Z)I hope this helps some of you.

Typical hanging folders can't go wrong. Arrived quickly, in great shape, comes with clear tabs and white inserts enough of them for each folder. Fits in standard filing system box/cabinet

Pretty good, especially for the price. Just wished the bottom drawer had a lock too.Also, I was afffaid the color was going to be more toupe (hard to tell from the photos). It is a very nice off white color.

As far as filing cabinets go, this one is perfect for small at-your-desk needs. Fits under standard disk height.The handles are a little wiggly after installing them.

The top drawer doesn't come with a pencil organizer so you'll have to get your own. That's fine, but the top drawer has ridges which may hinder the balance of whatever you choose to put in there.

Fits exactly to measure. Don't expect the lock to be tamper-proof at this price. The drawer moves far enough to the opposite side to make the lock a deterant to honest people only. Unfortunately my co-worker broke into it the very first opportunity she had.

This is a great filing cabinet. It was exactly what I had expected it to be, and arrived very quickly in great shape! I had researched a little, and this one is also sold by staples, but this one is a much more reasonable price. The metal material is a little thin, so it is not meant to hold anything too heavy, but it is great for filing personal materials at home :)

sturdy and well-made file cabinet. Wish I'd gotten one with casters, though. I did buy a set of adhesive wheels and think they will work out okay. This cabinet is a pleasing color, constructed well and it is great to have the top smaller drawer for supplies. It does not come with file folder hanger so remember to get frames if you need them.

Just started using these hanging file folders. These folders are fairly standard... they hang in a file cabinet and you place other files inside of them. I am pretty impressed with these folders. The material is smooth and does not irritate my hands. The folders as slimmer / thinner than other hanging file folders that I have. I consider this a plus since the hanging file folders take up less space in the cabinet.

For some reason these file folders are about an eighth of an inch too wide for my desk drawer's so I'm having to cut off an eighth of an inch in order to get them to hang properly on the metal rack

Super durable plus on the inside they say AmazonBasics in light grey, it's nice little touch, but I'm biased I like the brand haha

They were in a plain brown box - I'm assuming not the original packaging. Doesn't seem like the quality you would find at an office supply store but they suit me fine.

Well, they're hanging file folders...they hang in the filing cabinet just fine, and are otherwise uninteresting. Solidly made. Shall I compose an ode? I shall compose an ode.

These folders are not that thick, I would not necessarily call them flimsy but they are somewhat thin. On the other hand the metal hangers are very sturdy. I appreciate the tabs that came along with them. And I enjoy the different colors I felt that it made my organizing easier. I have not had large amounts of paper in each folder yet so I cannot comment on that. But I do feel this was a good buy.

A little flimsy, not the highest quality but it serves the purpose.

Its made like crap and arrived with dents and scratches. But for what it is its fine... I dont expect it to hold up to heavy wear at all though.

This works fine so far, but is far from heavy duty. The handles do not screw on properly and we ended up spending another $25 on nice handles that actually install. I was surprised with how quickly we received this and my son has been playing in the box it came in for over a month, so kudos for that. ;)

I wanted a 3-drawer cabinet that would fit underneath my computer table and this was the only one I could find that would fit and was affordable. I didn't expect an office-quality filing cabinet for the price but this one is constructed of very thin sheet metal. It feels like I could bend the sides of the drawers with just my fingers. It arrived with a small dent in the back just from shipping even though it was well packaged. The two file drawers are reasonably spacious (12"W x 17.25"L x 9.5"H) although I would not recommend putting too much weight in them.

Cheap and cheaply made. If you need a good looking file cabinet that you won't use heavily, this is a good product. But if you're gonna use this daily, it's gonna dissemble. Drawers can't open all the way. So easy to dent. Actually mine came with dents even though it's very well packaged with Styrofoam supports.

They will get the job done but they are really just the same thickness /weight as a regular manilla-type folder. They're not going to take well to heavy use.

I liked the folder. The colors are just what I needed for my classroom. The problem is that some of the folders came with missing prongs to hold the folder in the file box. So I couldn't use them.

Good file folders. They have different color, so I can use different color for different categories. However, the only problem is that I only got 24 packs.

Does the job, I wish labels were easier to apply on top rather than having to permanently tape them, I wish you could slide them in instead. Material is decent, not really sturdy and folders can withhold some of the weight but not a lot.

Work well but aren't very strong. Tried using for some catalogues and the hanging tabs bent. For regular files and file folders they work well.

It's a light weight metal file cabinet that arrived with a dent in one of the drawers. Wished that I would have gone to a local office goods store to pick one out. It's probably a couple of bucks more, but worth it to see the quality.

The metal is very thin, doesn't not seem very sturdy. One of the cabinets was damaged in the face of the cabinet. To much of a hassle to send it back so it will have to do for now.

I was disappointed to find that this cabinet, although it DOES HAVE A LOCK, isn't a fully locking cabinet. The bottom drawer does not lock at any time. It should be advertised (or disclaimed) as a LOCKING TOP DRAWER - file cabinet. The cabinets are flimsy and fall out of square easily so the drawers do not pull easily. I was ashamed to discover I paid over $70 for these and they have the exact same cabinets at Walmart listed for $48. I would not recommend them for high use, office, etc., but to just store files in an accessible manner this cabinet is .... OK.

The bottom drawer DOES NOT LOCK. This was not what I had in mind. If you don't care about that, then it's an OK purchase. As pictured.

These were bigger than expected and doesn't fit my filing cabinet

While the folders were as expected, I received only 19 plastic tabs to use with the 25 folders. I'm very disappointed--particularly because I ordered a second set before setting up the first.

These folders do not slide smoothly in the cabinet, and the metal bar ends up bending. Very poor product.

They are good quality, but they did not send me enough tabs for the folders. I am missing 7 tabs. If I had all of the parts this would be a 5 star review.

These came stacked on top of each other in a box, which is probably typical. However, the shape & weight of them caused them to bend significantly, so when I took them out of the box right when they arrived they were warped. They still won't hang straight in the file box. They're usable, but not as easily as straight ones would be.

Similar to a tin can. Not what I was expecting but had a desperate need so I kept it. Drop a book on the top and it dented so easily.

I should have known better, since it was so inexpensive. It arrived well-packaged, but already dented on the top drawer. Once I got it unpacked, I saw how light and flimsy it is; really not worth the money at all.

Do not purchase this product. The material is extremely flimsy. When we took it out of the box, there were dents in several places, and we couldn't even open one of the drawers properly because the side of the cabinet was warped.

Don't buy this product. Why? Major design problems you should know about: first, the drawers barely open halfway. If you're putting files in here (and it is, after all, a filing cabinet) what this means is that your access to the entire back half of your files is highly restricted – you will have to jam your hand back in there (papercuts, jammed knuckles, anyone?) and try to crunch the back half forward into the front half to access them. Stupid design.Why does it open only halfway? Because the product is poorly built, cheap materials, and if you open a drawer more than halway – even if the thing is empty – it tips over! That's right, they've built it so cheaply that the thing tips over - that's actually dangerous.What else? Did you notice there's no photo of the drawers? There's a reason none of the pictures show you the drawers - they're awful. They're made of the same material you see on shanty town roofs, super cheap corrugated aluminum. So, they look awful and cheap, that's not a big deal, right? But corrugated? Yes, that's right - so if your file folders are deep (most file folders have creases in them so you can adjust their depth, meaning the bottom length will change) they will bang against the bottom of this drawer and not sit evenly since this unit's bottom has raised sections in it. Again, really not smart.Hey, it's only $70, right? Wrong, it's your time, it's a product that doesn't do what you need it to, and you'll end up returning it for a better design, better built unit, and it's a big box to schlep back for a return. That's what we're doing, learn from our mistake.

The handles don't go flush with screws. It sucks!

Most are damaged, hooks are almost all bent, not worth even the cheap price on these.

Some of the file folders came damaged and are unusable. I purchase a lot of things that are from AmazonBasics but I am really disappointed with this product.

No tabs. These folders came with out tabs and so have very little use to me. In the description it said they come with tabs.

I purchased these file folders with the idea that I would also use Microsoft Word and Avery file folder labels to print nice legible labels. Wrong. These hanging folders come with clear plastic tabs and paper inserts but are NOT compatible with printable Avery labels. So one write the labels by hand or uses maybe a label maker of some type.

TOTALLY USELESS. Why is Amazon selling these? There were 25 green file folders and 25 plastic holders with paper to write on and slip into the holders, but NO slits in the file folders in which to put the plastic holders. Sheesh!
