This cabinet is sturdy enough to hold important papers and various office supplies. Good value for price.

Arrived as promised and in good condition. Assembling the wheels was a little bit tricky especially when the holes were a little small so I used my electric screwdriver and that worked. That is the only thing that has to be assembled. Other than that, this file cart is so light. Overall I am very happy with this product.

I could not be more pleased. Quality appears to be excellent in that the thickness of the cabinet is superior to that of what I found with comparable prices in the big box stores locally. The small top drawer is an excellent idea and that is the most impressive thing about this cabinet. I have found it to be an addition I can well use for small items and those files I have not completed, before filing. Could not be more pleased with my purchase.

I want to start off by stating that this cabinet is surprisingly very, very sturdy; I'm a small woman and had to carry this up two flights of stairs without being winded! The quality/price ratio is spot on here. The wheels are nice, but it's a filing cabinet that's neatly wedged between two desks, so those aren't too important for my needs. I'd imagine that this wouldn't wheel around at random on hardwood floors, but my office space has thick carpet.Assembly: There's really nothing to it other than knowing how to use a Philips screwdriver and basic reading comprehension. A word of warning, though - once you screw the wheels in, they definitely aren't coming off without a lot of force and a kit. All of the drawers are blocked at the end, so they won't come off if you pull too hard. The handles are hard plastic and seem pretty tough, but time will tell how well they hold up.Lock: This is where things get slightly interesting. The quality of the lock itself is decent, but it leaves a little to be desired since it's wiggly. Unless you're holding some classified items in the lockable drawer, this shouldn't be an issue. We've tested it with two people pulling while another held it steady, and it wouldn't budge. The keys are a bit flimsy, but that's nitpicking at this point.Quality: Like I stated before, this cabinet is very sturdy. I will say that it's a bit wobbly on the sides, so I would be careful of the environment that you put it in. I did place a very, VERY heavy bass amplifier on top of it for a few hours while I rearranged some things, and there wasn't so much as a dent on it - but I WAS careful. I've stuffed the second drawer with documents, receipts, misc accounting items, etc, with the top drawer holding spare office supplies like staples and envelopes, and the bottom holding a boatload of printer paper and ink cartridges.Pictures: I took some pictures of it between two desks, a close up of the handles, one of the lock, how the wheels look against carpet, and the first two drawers. There's about 4.5 inches more drawer than shown (of the one with the files).In conclusion, this filing cabinet is quality enough for those on a budget or don't require a florid filing system. Personally, I believe this will do just fine for a home office or small business. If you have questions about it, I'll try my best to answer, but it's really a no-brainer. At this price, you bet you're getting a bang for your buck.

Love these file cabinets! They are great for home office use! I read reviews before purchasing, and it seems the complaint of them being dented was an issue, when these cabinets were delivered by FedEx the delivery person was flipping the cartons all ways even though there was an arrow marked for this side up! Mine were not dented as I greeted the person I pointed out the arrow and addressed that he should be aware of the packaging and if they were damaged I would return for replacement. He was embarrassed, and apologized, but they were fine.

Excellent for the price and works good for my needs. I was so glad I didn't have to put it together. I had a few issues and the company was so gracious and helped me resolve it. I will order again from them.

I am very happy with the size of this file cabinet. I am also pleased with the weight versus the sturdiness of the unit. I wish the wheel had wheel locks.

A minor problem experienced single file when inserting a single file. If not perfectly straight it will hang up and need to be realigned.

I wanted a simple, cheap cabinet for my home office and this delivered, wonderfully. It holds 1 banker's box worth of files easily. I was able to throw out my portfolio file folder with no worries.Installing the wheels went fine. It might be tricky for some, but if you have descent hand/upper-body strength and employ patience, it's doable.

This file cabinet has worked perfect for our needs in a small office. It is not something we use daily. It is light weight and came all put together (which is always a plus). I gave it 4 out of 5 and not a perfect 5 because the cabinet does have a tendency to tip forward a little when the drawers are both open or the top drawer is opened up all the way. Also, the drawers do not open up all the way so filing all the way to the back of the drawer is difficult.Overall I am happy with the price and quality of the cabinet and I was pleasantly surprised when it came in and had white handles instead of the solid black shown in the picture.

Not the highest quality ever, so if you're in and out of this a ton I would probably drop some extra money. However, if you're just storing documents here and there like me, then this is a great value.

Not a bad little office cabinet. This isn't the heavy duty kind... but hey for the price you really can't go wrong. It comes fully assembled and you only need to screw in the three handles. Take your time - don't get the threads stripped out like I almost did.

wish the bottom drawer locks

Beautiful outside. Kind of utilitarian inside. Fulfills it's purpose. Lock only locks top file drawer and accessory drawer so bottom file drawer remains unlocked. Would buy again.

It is what it is for being cheap

It's cheap. Knew that going into it though. It's perfect for what we need, but it's not something I'd buy if you plan on getting into it everyday.

Okay for price. Thin metal dents easily. I still have mine but ready to replace with a grown up version.

It was inexpensive, so I didn't expect much. I pretty much got what I paid for, so that is why I am giving it a good review, but I wish it was better. The lock is pretty much useless, as it only locks the top two drawers, and doesn't lock those very tight. A light pull will open it a good inch even when locked, so don't expect the lock to much more than a deterrent.

i dont know why but i was expecting a bit more from this since it is a metal cabinet. anyone with a can opener could open a side wall up and take whatever information you have stored in it. not the quality of yesterday. but it will do for what i am going to use it for.

I ordered 2 of this item b/c I was looking for file cabinets that locked and had wheels. The shipment arrived as promised and in good condition. However, when I went to put the casters on I realized there were no pre-drilled holes in the cabinet that the casters would screw in to - very disappointed. I have no way to attach the casters in the front and will be returning the cabinets. Otherwise these would have worked perfectly for my needs.

EXCELLENT materials, build, and operation. POOR quality control and paint job. Underpainted on top. Did not return it because I was keeping something on top anyway, but attractiveness of the cabinet may be poor for some uses.

Quality is what I expected for the price. Meets my household office needs.

Just an FYI, this looks black, but the one I was sent was gun metal grey. Works fine & all. Just wish it was truly black to match my office decor.

Not made using standard strong materials but severs it purpouse for using in a small home office.

It is not a very well made cabinet. It is obviously a low cost so you get what you pay for. There are open slots at the bottom of the drawers. It is very lightweight and pretty sharp edges but it fits perfectly under my desk and it does have a locked drawer which is what I needed. So, it works but not the best quality.

Will work for what I need but the lock is cheap. I easily was able to open it with a butter knife.

These drawers don't pull out all the way so the files that are in the back disappear, This is really frustrating since you end up making new files for things you already have.I would not buy this product.

The look and function of this cabinet is fine, but I expected a lot better quality based on the price. I paid about $70 for it, but quality is consistent with what you would expect at a $30 price point. The drawers are small, barely fitting file folders. The metal is thin and the drawers don't open all the way, requiring you to dig to the back of the files to see anything back there.All in all this unit is fine, but very disappointing at this price point. I would not buy it again.

It was Terrible. Arrived in wrong color. I wanted black, it came in silver. It has no wheels & there was no place for wheels.

One of the wheels broke the first time I tried to move it. The metal parts used to secure the wheels are very thin and light weight.

Not really happy with this purchase. Amazon photos have always been accurate before but this is medium gray, not black. I guess i should've read the details but they also should have had a picture of the product you actually get.The lock is a complete joke. You can open the drawer while locked if you pull it to the left and out.One of the handle screws was different than all the others which was extremely frustrating. I ended up buying another screw because it didn't work.And the top drawer has a bent rail but still function. Overall, it's just very cheaply made

Item is of very low quality. Multiple scratches on the front drawers, appears to have been used. I would not recommend. Spend $100 on the same product from office depot.

I found this while searching for a Black filing cabinet, from the picture it looks black it is grey which is hidden in smaller print.. Otherwise quality is as expected for a cheap file cabinet. Handle screws dont thread all the way in leaving them loose unless you buy washers. Wish I could return for a black oneAlso shipping took a while, Amazon's arrival estimate past so I emailed them and received it a week later. Will probably not buy from Wayfair again.

The picture looks black but the actual product was more like a dark grey, which is pretty disappointing as I got it to match my office furniture.Additionally, the filing cabinet just looks cheap. Not worth the price. I wish I would have gone with a different one for the price.

I was excited to get this to add to my home office, but when I got it out of the box, I realized it was really poor quality. I was thinking well, they will still work. When I attached the handles, even at the tightest the screws would go and the handles wobble because they don't get flush against the unit. Highly disappointing.
