My First NATO Watch & I Love It!!
February 22, 2017
I Have Very Thin Wrists, and I'm Super Glad that this Band Fits!It Even Looks Better Than the Band that the Watch Came With.It Is Very Durable, I don't see it Wearing or Tearing away anytime soon so that's Huge Plus!I got The Black Band 22mm With Chrome Bars. Im not sure if it's actually Chrome or Painted, But Looks Nice and Shiny! I Really Like How the Clasp Clicks Into Place. The stitching is Done Very Nicely. No Complaints at this Time..I Definitely would buy this product again, also wish they had more color to choose from!
Casio and Luminox band
July 4, 2016
I use this band on two watches (Luminox and Casio) mostly for the Luminox. I am very tough on watches. Wear them 24/7. Only take them off to wash my wrist then throw them right back on. This being said this watch band has held up fantastic. From getting into scuffles to working on vehicles/tractors to digging in the mud. I say that to say this there is very little wear on the band, if I had paid $30-50 on the band I would expect none but for around $10 I don't see this being beat. No this has only been a few months I will post an update at about the one year mark but as for now I'm currently planning to but this same band (infantry) in silver. If they continue to hold up I'll continue to buy!
GREAT!

LOVE IT!! Great buy for only $7! Buckle isn't of great quality, but I wouldn't have expected any better with the price as is. Still love it! I put it on my seiko monster :D
Good Quality Strap
June 4, 2015
I recently bought this NATO strap to replace a rubber strap on an Orient Mako. The strap is made of a thin nylon material. It's not a robust, thick canvas, but it actually feels comfortable on the wrist. The color of the strap in real life compared to the images provided on Amazon is actually a tad darker. I dig the actual color over the images, but you should be aware of that. The strap is well made with stitching holding down the buckles and holders as opposed to heat sealed alternatives that could unglue over time. The metal parts are matte black adding to a sleek design. At this price point, I'm very happy with the quality of this NATO band. I will definitely buy another in the future for a replacement strap for my other watches.I've provided a picture so you have an idea of the color and size of the band on an Orient Mako.
Quite good.

It is exactly what it's supposed to be. East to install, comfortable and looks nice. Thanks.
Very nice so far
February 19, 2014
Only been wearing it about a week, so time will tell. So far though this item has exceeded my expectations.9/1/14 - Been wearing this watch/band combo every day since I bought it. There was some slight fraying on the curved end of the strap, a quick (and I mean quick, don't melt it) touch with a lighter flame and that was fixed and stayed fixed. No wear on the black hardware finish aside from where the pin rests on the buckle, but you only see it when the watch is off. Would definitely buy again.

Super comfy, great selection and well made!
September 27, 2017
Love this band! Needed to replace the Nato strap on my Timex Expedition Scout and the Barton's have a good rep for their silicone bands, so I thought I'd try these out. I purchased this and installation was simple. All the edges were smooth and well finished, the holes were cleanly punched, and the hardware seems light but sturdy.I like the variation on the Nato theme with the band material loop for the tail instead of the normal two metal loops. Main reason I ordered this was they offered a long length option as I have larger wrists and the standard bands will fit, but I wanted more adjustment options. This band will likely fit up to 10" wrists no problem. Mine is about 9.5" and I still have at least 6 holes worth of adjustment either way ;).I'll be ordering more in other color variations for my other watches as well.
Very comfortable and durable!
May 17, 2017
Love this band. Very comfortable and tough. My black and white striped band looks vibrant - the black is very dark and the white is bright white. The bottom of the strap can slightly dig in if you're resting your hand/wrist on something. But that doesn't happen too often and it's not every time your wrist is on something. The strap holes are also in good places. You can easily go from very tight to nice and comfortable/breathy just by going down one hole. Going up or down one doesn't make it too tight or too loose. I have a 7-7.5 inch wrist and I wear it on the 4th or 5th holes (usually the 5th because I like it tighter). Also, the little leftover flap can be tucked in on smaller wrists, or sits perfectly about the watch. The lines also perfectly line up when you do this with the section under the flap.Highly recommend this strap. Don't expect much with the buckle but it's definitely good enough. For the price, it'd be hard to find a better strap. Barton also seems to be a good company but I didn't have to contact support. They did send an email IIRC after my purchase making sure I was happy, which was notable for me.

Their customer service really sets them apart. These are priced competitively, the quality is good, and paired with their customer service I couldn't give them anything less than a 5 star review. If you are looking for something similar, look no further. Some notes though. These don't come with pins, so be sure you have some handy. Also, if you are putting these on a smart watch, like my pebble time, be sure you can charge. In my case, you have just a Little extra work to charge it since the ports on the back will be covered, but it's really easy enough to do without much hassle. I was aware of that based on the images. It's nice that there is some fabric between you and the watch instead of the cheap plastic back. So that's still a plus.
Basically perfect.
October 7, 2015
This is the first NATO band I've ordered, and what I got is what I can only describe as my best-case-scenario watchband. It fits comfortably, the material is thick enough to feel solid, but not so thick that it feels bulky. The thick nylon loop is really my favorite part of the strap. Most NATO bands have solid metal loops, which can scrape against things as I'm using my laptop or doing other things with my hands, but the bottom loop here is just the same fabric as the rest of the band, so it's incredibly comfortable to wear. I was also worried that the orange might be too garish, but the particular tone here is very subdued and goes well with darker colors.

The photos here are of the band on my Pebble Time.
Comfortable, well sized NATO strap

Decent strap too, seems like it will hold up if I find a watch for it
September 6, 2017
So funny story, I took this to a watch kiosk at my local mall and asked the guy if he could change out the strap on my watch and he said yes. The straps that were originally on my watch were made out of rubber, so for some reason he decided it was a good idea to cut the rubber to get to the metal pins. After he did that though, he realized that the strap wouldn't fit on the watch. So because he destroyed my watch I got to pick out a decent one from the kiosk. I paid $11 for the watch that he destroyed and got a 50 or $60 watch in exchange. Not complaining.
'Currently experimenting (but, nice strap!)
November 22, 2015
'Nice strap. I am new with this type (NATO style - has extra keeper strap). 'Just ordered a couple of military style nylon straps that do NOT have the extra keeper strap and associated hardware. Reason: 2 layers of strap are between the watch and your arm while wearing - This makes the effective thickness of the watch greater. Without this extra keeper strap, there will only be one layer of strap between arm and watch. I hope that the bend in nylon will hold the watch in position on the strap. It seems to do that, even with this NATO style strap. I also think I will prefer less hardware (simple and clean with less to catch on something). But, for NATO style, this strap is very nice and works quite well! 'Comfortable. 'Can be cut to length and ends melted to prevent fraying. I did this to reduce the bulk of folding over excess length of strap ('don't like bulky!).
well worth $9.00
August 31, 2015
I like the color and style. The colors are mostly true to the picture. The green might be just a bit brighter olive but that could just be my monitor settings. I put this on my GPW Military watch and am please so far. It is little snug (width) sliding between the lugs and and when sliding through the buckles. Fits on my 22 lug watch just barely, it really looks like a 22.5mm band.
Good Rugged Nylon Replacement (not as soft as Timex Nylon Straps), Great Value
October 8, 2014
Came as advertised. Very strong and durable. I liked Timex's nylon straps and was hoping to buy something similar. It's definitely not the same, but it also isn't advertised to be so I'm not terribly disappointed with my gamble.Metal bands that hold extra nylon down are a bit larger than they need to be, and protrude out more than I would want. Also a bit stiffer than I would have wanted (that's why I love the Timex nylon bands-- very "floppy" and comfortable)-- will probably just take time to break in with use.
Nice Product but width a bit over-sized
July 21, 2014
Very nice band, lightweight handsome appearance, fast delivery from seller. The only problem I experienced was that it is slightly over-sized. My watch requires a band that is 20 mm wide. Although I ordered a 20 mm band, the actual width, measured with digital calipers was 20.37 mm. This means it really did not fit and I had to curl the remainder under the springbars. The band is made to slide under the springbars but sliding was now impossible because of the extra material sandwiched underneath. You might want to buy a smaller width of this band than the watch's measurement indicates.
Great band..but
June 3, 2014
This is a rather good band opposed to some of the other more expensive nato bands that cost double the money for the same quality as this one here.My only complaint is its incredibly stiff,Its durable but the clasp used to secure the watch to the wrist is a pain to work with,I am hoping after time it loosens but don't let this be a distraction when considering purchasing this band.It is made to last and my order came exceptionally fast, much faster then originally anticipated.Again this is a great replacement band especially for the Timex Weekender, the band that comes with that model watch is not durable by any means, this one is and can give a dull watch a quality military look and feel making this something I am happy I purchased at the end if the day!

Updated review.
July 25, 2017
My original review critiqued the band for being too small for my wrist (I have large wrist bones).I was contacted by the vendor via comment and they not only informed that there were different lengths, and the specifics about each length, but also offered me a refund for my troubles. I thought this was really cool and I always appreciate good customer service. I didn't read the specifics about band length when I bought mine the first time around, just the width in mm, so in the end it was user error. The band colors were really nice, though. I got the red and blue stripe band and the colors were true to the picture.
Not exactly what I was expecting, but a nicely made watch strap!
May 9, 2017
I guess I didn't read the description carefully enough to not notice that this strap is not a "G-10" (NATO) strap - it's very similar, but different enough if that is an issue. Having said that, it's fine for me - it's a quality strap and just what I need. (just fewer buckle loops, but they aren't needed for most men since the overall length is short enough that no "tucking" should be necessary.A nice product from a well-respected company.VERY fast shipping!
A Good Watch Band for Normal Wrists
July 13, 2016
I bought two of these bands so that I could have different colors; was pleased with the color options. The bands are well constructed and fit my watch nicely. Installation was extremely easy. The product description on Amazon is accurate and the image with the dimensions is very helpful.I have large wrists and searched for longer bands. But Barton's longer bands are only available in widths too wide for my watch. The band is on the second to the last hole and is a little bit tight. That is my only issue with the band. But, I knew when I ordered them that I was going to be on the upper end of the fit for this watch band. If you have regular sized wrists, you will have no problems. If your wrists are larger, you may end up with a tight fit, but these bands were worth it for me.If you have larger wrists and are concerned about the fit take the time to measure everything and remember that you lose about 5-10 mm in length when you route the band through the watch pins.
Lightweight, sporty.
May 16, 2016
I really like this watchband. So comfortable to wear especially when I'm running; it's definitely a lot more lightweight than the Pebble leather band my watch came with. I'm thinking of buying one more in another color. Easy to install as well. The only complaint I have is that, I suppose you get what you paid for, the watchband has already started to "unravel" a little bit.
Hopefully good for tropical weather
March 17, 2016
I was looking for a watch or watchband that I could wear in tropical weather. I have been to China and Hong Kong in 105 to 110° heat and humidity and the leather wristband of my watch just started rotting and smelling badly. I was looking at possibly getting a ripcord band but then I came across this nylon version. It is advertised as being good for tropical weather. When I received it, I was initially very disappointed because it looked cheap at first and is about as thin as a Band-Aid. I used it to replace the leather been on my Timex travel watch. I was wishing that the band was thicker. But, I then realized that this is for travel, not for looks in a business setting. The band was easy to attach thanks to the four pictures in the advertisement. My wrist is about seven and three-quarter inches in circumference. I wish the band was perhaps an inch longer because it just tucks in. I like my wristbands looser. I am wearing it now and it is growing on me.
Fits nicely
December 26, 2015
The watch band on my Momentum dive watch finally broke so I searched Amazon for a replacement. The Momentum replacement was $40 which is more than I'm willing to spend on a watch band. I guess I should be glad it was so expensive because if it was cheaper I would have bought it without searching for an alternative which lead me to the Barton watch band I bought. I got the gray with orange stripe. It was easy to put on the watch and looks really good. The band fits fine but is a little short. I'm a woman but I wear a man's watch. My wrists are not small but they're not as large as most men. This watch band would be too small for my husband, but it works great for me. They're inexpensive enough and so easy to switch out that I'll probably order another one or two in different colors.

Meh.....
June 19, 2017
This nato strap is quite stiff. It Feels cheap and likes to dig in my skin. I could not recommend this to any one. I purchased the 20mm version. Also, it barely fits over my wrist so it's only good for people that have 6 inch wrists.
This one isn't bad, but it is noticeably thinner
June 15, 2017
The material is not as thick as other bands I have ordered. This one isn't bad, but it is noticeably thinner. Also, the color is pretty light. I wish it was more of a desert color or FDE (flat dark earth).
Black/silver does NOT mean black and silver stripes on the band
March 6, 2017
Good solid inexpensive band. Fits great, not a huge "break-in" period, pretty much comfortable from the start. Good solid black. I'm taking off points only because I thought I was ordering the "black/silver" band as in black and silver stripes but the "black/silver" band really is just an all black band with the silver buckle. That was a little misleading to me therefore the 2 star deduction. Besides that, for a basic black NATO strap, it does its job well.
Nice durable band as advertised
August 30, 2016
Nice durable band as advertised. After a few months the paint started to fade from the metal parts. I don't use this anymore because it really starts to smell bad due to sweat. I've tried many things to try to get rid of it and it only works so so. It ended up being too much time invested in cleaning it. I really do like the design. If it weren't for the smell I'd love it.
Uncomfortable without mods
March 1, 2016
Overall, this is an okay product. It looks nice and rugged, but it is uncomfortable. The stitching on the back of the band rubs on my wrist and irritates my skin. I used a lighter to melt it down, but it's still not totally comfortable. And besides, even if I'm able to smooth the stitches out, I think products like this should come ready to wear, without the need for modification.
It was easy to install and comfortable around the wrist
December 18, 2015
I used this with my original Pebble watch. It was easy to install and comfortable around the wrist. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because I wore my Pebble all the time, whether running, swimming, or generally working out. The band does seem to absorb some moisture, and I would have to frequently clean it with rubbing alcohol to remove the funky smell from the band. It wouldn't be so bad if it didnt absorb moisture, but that definitely makes it harder to take care of and keep clean. O

I bought Seiko Men's SNK803 and didn't like the band that came with the watch
August 6, 2017
I bought Seiko Men's SNK803 and didn't like the band that came with the watch, so I bought this color khaki to replace it. It's a bit thin to my liking. I can see it's what older reviews about its thinner material. It's ok for now but I keep shopping.
Clasp broke in about a year
July 6, 2017
Clasp broke in about a year. It costs almost as much for a new piece as the band cost originally. I wear it every day, rain or sun. Band looks nice and I got compliments. I would expect a band and its pieces to last more than a year. Poor materials? I would hesitate buying another band here.
Holes start to stretch after only a few uses
May 8, 2017
Let's get to it. I like watches. There i said it. However, to get me to not buy a new watch sometimes swapping out the leather band for a NATO does the trick in making me think i have a new watch, when obvi i dont. Voilaahhhh. The only problem i have with this band is that after a few wears the holes are already stretching a bit. One of them looks like it wont last more than a year or so. Given the price of the bands, i cant complain. However, I believe it should last longer. I will followup with a later review.
Time Will Tell
March 15, 2017
Good dark brown. But, does not have all metal parts on band like other military bands. Don't know how it will wear. Like looks of metal over the cloth.
Great bands that are thinner than most others
March 14, 2017
Great bands that are thinner than most others, so are great for watches without a lot of space between the case and spring bars. One negative I've found is that the holes do tend to stretch out a bit over time, resulting in the watch potentially becoming unfastened if you don't keep an eye out for it. However, these are cheap enough that they can be replaced easily.
Good strap. Comfortable and durable
June 29, 2016
Good strap. Comfortable and durable. I've been pretty disappointed with the color though. I bought the smoke and white band and the pictures I saw of it made it look like a nice grey. But in reality it's more of a faded navy blue. I noticed that there's a picture of it on an actual watch here and that picture looks more like it actually does. So be careful with these straps and make sure you get the right color. Mine did not match my pebble time (black) at all and it got worse when I got a white gadgetwraps skin for it because the white on the strap was more of an eggshell color. I've since replaced it with a black and white strap from Clockwork Synergy and I'm much happier with the new strap.

N.F.C. didn't work :(
February 4, 2017
I really wanted to like this device. I was sold on the fact that it was the only one that had 'N.F.C.' built in to it. I thought, thats great to be able to link it up to a specific function, like start/stop my wifi on my cell phone. When I got the strap, it was built as solidly as it appears in the photos! I loved the thickness of the strap, the beefiness of the buckles and the over-all size as it fit around my wrist. I'm a large guy 6'2" 250lb and I didn't want another wimpy watch strap - this did not disappoint me.Unfortunately my strap's N.F.C. didnt seem to get recognized by anything, let alone my watch. When I contacted the manufacturer, they said that I should return it for a refund, so I did.I really wanted to like this strap, I did.
Scratchy and stiff
October 9, 2016
I really wanted to like this band, but I just couldn't. The material is rough and despite using it for several weeks, it never relaxed enough to feel comfortable against my wrist. It fit my Pebble Time well, and the color was nice, but it was just too scratchy and stiff to work as a good watch band for me.
Was great then it faded.
July 12, 2016
What started out as an amazing watch strap has faded considerably. I find I don't even wear one of my favorite watches now simply because the strap is no longer olive, but rather some off color of olive. Also, for those that don't like that the strap is too long, if you take a nickel to the end of the strap at the length you desire and hold that nickel (to give the band its round shape) between some pliers you can take a sharp knife (box cutters work great) and cut to the desired length while maintaining the integrity and shape of the band. While maintaining your hold on the pliers and after cutting the band, take a lighter to it to melt the ends. I hoped the color would last a bit longer than 6 months (I've had it for about 9 but it started fading pretty bad a few months back)

June 26, 2016
The band itself is okay but my problem with the band comes from the fact that one side of the watch or watches I should say pops off if you're not really careful because they hook up things much easier with this type of wrist band. The watch brings on one side of the watch no matter which watch I put on the band would come off because of the amount of pressure when they would get snagged on like my jacket pocket which was really frustrating. I even had one of the watches pop off when I reached behind my back to scratch my back it caught on I think my belt. I lost to watch Springs with this style of wristband. For the readers information I tried about three different watches with this watchband because I really liked how comfortable it was on my wrist. As far as comfort goes there great and I would recommend them on that alone if the watches didn't fall off the band.
Rings are painted.
March 18, 2015
I've worn this watchband for 6 months and it has not broke. The whole I use has been stretched quite a bit, but is still holding well. The two star are because the rings are painted, and wear down very easily. The rings are shiny metal now and have been for about three months after purchase.

July 19, 2017
Was expecting the band to be white, came out dirty off white, doesn't match my watch face. Looks like the blue bled into it during manufacture. Size and construction are good though.
Decent looking band, but not very functional.
July 5, 2017
This band looks fine, but it isn't durable. After less than two weeks of wear, it's already discolored. I expect some discoloration eventually, but the real problem is with the buckle. The post of the buckle frequently pulls through to the wrong side and I have to take off the watch, move the post from the bottom to the top of the buckle, and put the watch back on. I know Barton makes some good bands, but this isn't one of them.

It's scratchy and to long. Was hoping they came in smaller lengths. Oh well had to give it a try.
The watchband is nice, but unfortunately
January 24, 2017
The watchband is nice, but unfortunately, the buckle tongue is short causing it to slip behind the buckle allowing the band to slip off my wrist. The watchband I received may be flawed. I had someone with a smaller wrist try on the watch with the same issue occurring. As much as I do like the watchband, having to worry that the band will loosen and cause the watch to fall off is worrisome.
No Metal Bars included to Attach the Band to the Watch Face?
July 29, 2016
I was really surprised that it did not come with the mounting bars needed to attach the band to the actual watch. Unfortunately for me, I did not have any extra ones lying around from another band (not surprising for someone that is buying a watch band), making the band completely unusable. I did give the product an extra star, however, because the band seems to be good quality and suspect I will like it after I separately purchase the metal bars needed to attach the band.
Light, cool looking, but not much longer than stock Timex band
May 8, 2016
I really would give this a 5 star rating if it had been a better fit. The ad specifically says that it's a large band, but not as absurdly large as some others ( then they name the other brand). Well, it might have been better if it had been a bit more "absurdly large" because it just barely, BARELY fit my wrist. I put it on a Timex Indiglo watch that was about $30 retail. The Timex band fit, but also - just barely. The good thing I can say about this Barton band is that because it's lighter and thinner than the "rubber like" band that came on the Timex, it does seem to be more comfortable. Side note: I had to cut off the adjustment part to give it more room, and b/c it wasn't necessary because like I was saying, it could have been a bit larger. So, if you're trying on Timex or similar brands and thinking "I need a bigger band" know that the Barton band is nearly identical in length to the men's watches in Walmart, Pennys, Sports Authority, Kohls, etc. It's only a few millimeters longer, which really isn't much help. I gave it three stars b/c it's light and looks cool, basically - and b/c it's inexpensive. Even if it doesn't work for you, you're only out $12 or so. I just wish it had been a little longer for this big guy's ( not overly huge mind you) wrists.PS - also be aware that the band is very WIDE compared to the stock bands on most $30 watches. It just barely fit inside the watch's "arms" where the pins sit.

Don't buy this. This watch band is not proportioned and the buckle where you adjust how loose or tight it is is not on the bottom side of your wrist, it's on the farther side of your wrist and very uncomfortable. Maybe look at a different brand because this one didn't work for me.

problems with measuring and buckles
January 23, 2017
I have to send these back because the measurement instructions were not enough to know that this band will not fit my Timex weekender because they measure differently than I do, and because of the buckle design in the wristband. Be very careful to measure several times before ordering, and watch out for buckles in wrong places.
