As some others have stated, the leather is stiff upon opening. However, it seems to have gotten a bit softer even over a short time wearing it. It looks great, the stitching and markings are all very nicely done. This band looks far more expensive than it is! Works great with my gold watch piece. I have an average wrist and it fits very well, no issue with size. And with the right tool it was very easy to install.The included spring bar did not fit my watch, however the watch's bar easily fit in the leather strap so the swap was very convienent.

This band was a perfect replacement for one that broke on a watch that has a particularly unusual combination of colors and textures. The original band was faux snakeskin with this same honey-reddish color. I wanted as close a match on the color as I could get, and at least some texture, meaning not just smooth with stitching.This band looks better than my original one. And for the money, it seems very well made. It's a little bit stiff, but that doesn't make it uncomfortable on my wrist, nor does the stiffness detract from its appearance.Given how little this costs, I couldn't be happier. The watch is one of my favorites, and I hadn't been able to wear if for years because it was so hard to find the right replacement watchband. At this price I'm tempted to buy another just to have as a spare.

Arrived on schedule. Outstanding value. Very handsome, classy appearance with gold-tone watch. A great bonus: it came with pins of a remarkably improved type: there is a tiny lug protruding through a slot in the strap which permits you to compress the spring without a tool, thus making installation quick & easy. This is a wonderful improvement over the old system of having to compress the spring with a very thin blade to install the strap. Thanks to the designer & manufacturer for this!

The 'Honey' title is accurate. The strap I received is different than the stock photo which currently shows a dark brown alligator stamp with a squared clasp. The strap in person is a reddish honey brown color and has a slim rounded gold clasp. It is also a little bit shorter than your average men's watch bands. Between the color, the slimmer profile of the clasp and the shorter length this actually makes a great watch band for women. As a petite woman with slim wrists the end sticks up on the other side of my wrist but I think most people (men or women) with average wrist sizes will find this a good fit. I am so impressed with this for the price especially. Put this on a Bulova men's watch & it's a perfect fit. I love men's watches to the overly bejeweled men style watches most designers target towards women & this band goes with my Bulova without feminizing it too much.

Update 9.15.13: The watch band is doing great! Some folks said it broke after a day or two, or after a week. Here it is months later and strong as ever. I wear it almost every day. It gets alittle darker when it gets wet but still not as dark as the pix. Mine came w/ a silver buckle, unfortunately, but all is good.Well, it's better than expected. Read some reviews where it didn't even last a day, but mine's going on three weeks and it's workin like a champ as long as it's taken care of. It IS real leather, kinda stiff but bendable [and doesn't break if you know what I mean]. My old Seiko metal band died and this was a good retro. The band is too wide to replace the old band, so I cut back the corners where it attaches to the watch pin with an exacto knife to make it fit. Works great! Best band for $6 I've ever bought. Chao'!

The Voguestrap was exactly what I expected. It fit my watch case and wrist perfectly. The key to ordering replacement watch bands is the measurement of the distance between the posts (where the watch pin attaches to the case) on both sides of the watch. This measurement is usually 18ml on a standard watch. The quality of the watch band was great and for the price was super. I was also able to use the same buckle from my old watch band that had the Seiko name on it by simply removing the pin from the buckle. I am very pleased with this replacement purchase for my Seiko watch band.

I needed this because when I went to get my belt repaired (it was passed down from generation to generation in my family) I needed leather to fix it with. That is when I found this product. The price and material made this the best product to get for the price.Pros--REALLY CHEAP-The perfect color for my belt-matched the material of my belt and was VERY comfortableCons--kind of wished if the leather didn't rub off-felt like it wasn't real leather-wouldn't recommend for long time usersI would recommend this product for anyone who needs a belt strap.

Great replacement watch band for a great price! Installation is very simple for anyone without sausages for fingers, and the material quality is excellent. I've currently got this elegantly simple watch band attached to a $350.00 EcoDrive and it looks right at home!

My old leather watchband finally wore out and I bought this to replace it. I made sure I measured correctly and ordered the correct width. It was a pretty simple matter to remove the old one and replace it with this one. It looks really nice and seems to be well made. I've worn it daily for several months now and see no signs of any flaws.

Very handsome, feels quite nice and sturdy. I replaced the hard, cracked, thin leather band of a Citizen Eco-Drive watch. The stitching is quite good and there is no obvious seam or flaw. Due to the thickness, it starts out stiff so I recommend stretching it over a cylinder or oval object of some sort (I used my hard case for my eyeglasses) initially before trying to wear it in. After wearing it a bit, it seems to do pretty well with not forming unsightly creases as is the case with some other bonded leathers. The retaining ring (I'm not quite sure what it is called) does an excellent job at not moving around while holding the excess strap length in place. Overall, the leather feels very supple and the metal pieces are nicely polished and rounded.I can offer no experienced review covering the included spring bars as I reused the original spring bars of my Citizen watch. They do actuate smoothly and I would probably try them out if I needed to, however.Cons: The holes through which the spring bars go through are on the larger/looser side, contributing to a little free play. No big deal, but a little of the unfinished leather shows. The eyelets on the band look prone to stretching out prematurely so perhaps I would suggest doing the stretching/wearing in on one notch looser first. I think it would hold up just fine if I didn't subject it to a moderate amount of tension first. For the price, I can't really complain. It's understandably a downside of a softer leather.

I am quite pleased with my Voguestrap leather watch band. The strap is better quality than my previous band that I bought at a local store here in Dallas two years ago, but I paid 2/3 less this time around and Amazon delivered it to my door in two days' time. I don't know how Amazon and its supplier are able to fulfill an order this small, but they did, and I don't want to say anything more for fear they might change their policy. This handsome watch band is made of polished, padded leather on the topside and a beige "Genuine Leather" liner on the underside. An UNHERALDED FEATURE that I really appreciate: The spring pins are already in place in each strap, and each spring has a tiny lever that can be pulled back with a fingernail to easily lock the pin into place in the receivers of the watch. If this band lasts no longer than two or three years, I will have no complaint coming.

This item is what I expected. A simple black "Genuine" leather regular length (18R) paddedwatch strap for my cheap, er, inexpensive, Timex everyday-watch, model WR 30 M. A perfectfit on the watch and my wrist. It appears to be the exact duplicate of the one I replaced.The strap started out a bit stiff upon wearing but quickly softened up within the day. Thatwas to be expected and not problematic.FYI: A "Regular" strap size, for this company, appears to be; 4-3/8" long strap piece with holes and, 3-3/8" long strap piece with the metal clasp...ADDENDUM: As of June 2014 this every day strap is still performing its timely duties withoutany problems. It even went to Ireland and back with me. Working good.

The brown is a bit lighter than it looks in the picture, which I feel gives it a bit more of an "amateur" look than I was hoping for.The overall build quality seems sufficient, and after a month or so it shows no signs of serious wear.Fit well on my seiko kinetic. I love the "marbled" leather look.Because of the very affordable price, this guy still gets a solid score (I would consider 4.5/5 stars).

Seems well made and should last a solid couple years of use. Will echo several other comments from other reviewers: 1. Pretty short, I'm just barely north of 6 foot and 210 and the second to last notch is a snug fit for me. Large guys would want to look for a longer one. 2. Expected a more burgundy color from the picture on my monitor and it's a little more orange-y than I expected. Still looks fine, though. 3. Even for new leather, seemed very stiff out of the box. A minute working the leather and it was very comfortable.

This strap with top-stitching comes with spring bars. At first the strap is a bit stiff, but the leather quickly breaks in. The buckle is "gold" and the "honey" in the title seems to refer to the color tone of the leather. Length is longer than some straps, so unless you have Very large wrists, you should be OK. The quality and thickness is such that,I will expect the strap to last a year or so under normal male wear and tear. That makes it a very fair price.

This band isn't as nice as the original but I figured I'd try to keep wearing the watch (although it's not an expensive one) for few more years vs. replacing it. I know how difficult it can be to remove / attach a new watchband so I bought the little kit for attaching the band as well. This particular band is a nice replacement that makes the watch look new again. Thanks

This watch band is fine; the one I received is lighter in color than pictured. It comes with the spring bars, which'll normally run you four or five bucks on their own. This band is pretty small - on my average-sized male wrist it buckles on the next-to-last hole. It should be fine for most women. The buckle seems sturdy enough. Band needs some breaking-in to soften the leather a bit. For six bucks, I can't complain.

the strap comes with spring bars, the leather is kind of hard, hopefully this will break in after a while, the color is bright brown, the buckle is gold tone which match my watch very well, length is 2.75+4.5 in., if your wrist is big, be aware!

I have had this watch band for a couple weeks now and I would say I am quite satisfied so far. The band was supple as received and didn't need much breaking-in. The color is as pictured, black. It has a satin finish, not glossy and that is ok with me. My wrists are not very big and the regular length fits fine. I use the 5th hole of 8, so it could still fit a smaller wrist and the unused tail is not excessive. I only deducted one star because I suspect it may not be super durable, but still a pretty good value.

Perfect fit for my Timex watch, but the strap is a bit shorter than the original. This means it isn't always captured by both loops, but it's not a big deal because my wrist isn't that large.It would help if the length of this band was published, and if a longer one was available.

It fine. I've used it for more than a month. Though within the first couple of days, one of the strap loops next to the buckle came unglued. - So I glued it back. No problem since. It is lightweight (not bulky). I intentionally order this, the other thicker straps feel constrictive to me.

Strap is nice. I ordered the 18mm and I received 19mm band. I had to really jam it in there to fit! I have to admit, I am a guy and this watch band is very narrow. Looks more like a ladies watch! I ended up removing it! Still a nice band made of good quality!

Solidly made. Seems durable. The connector pin is a bit tricky to compress to get it connected right - which is typical for many watch band though my last one had a little nub that stuck out slightly through the band so it was easy to compress the pin. This one does not have this but with a small flat screw driver i was able to get the pin compressed far enough to get it installed.

Nice simple clean look. Note that each piece has an expansion pin to insert into the watch band posts. On these there is a very small ball attached to the pin so that you can simply use your figer nail to retract the pin allowing it to be inserted into the post. No tool required - cool. Just a caution. On mine the buckle expansion pin was not properly seated into the buckle. It slipped out while I was putting it on and I nearly lost the buckle. So be careful and check that out. (That's why -1 star.)

9/22/17 UPDATE - I've only worn this band a few weeks under very mild use and the front loop that doesn't slide but used to hold the band in place is already tarnished, discolored, and looking old. Seller and I agreed on a 50% refund because the band is still usable for me to save as a back-up or continue wearing it. I decided to save it for back-up.3 STARS - I purchased two of these straps based on overall good reviews, to install on my Timex & Swiss Army watchs, and I needed fresh Bar Pins since my original Timex pins were popping out every few weeks after 3yrs of daily use.OVERALL OPINION:* Strap looks beautiful but doesnt amount to a hill of beans if it doesn't hold up for several years during my daily 40 minute swim workout at the gym.* The actual buckle is a lot thinner and flimsy looking than expected. I've gotten stronger & sturdier looking buckles on $1.00 straps purchased from Ebay.* Also, I needed Standard quality 1.8mm diameter thick Bar Pins to replace my original ones. This Strap comes with the Cheaper Sub-Par inferior 1.5mm diameter Bar Pins which are useless and very dissapointing since this was another primary reason I purchased this strap to be attached onto my $300.00 Swiss Army watch.BOTTOM LINE: A) Nice looking Stap but time will tell regarding water resistant and durability B) I'm Now Forced To Purchase New Standard Quality Thicker Bar Pins Since The Bar Pins On This Strap Are Very Thin Lacking The Basic Standard Quality For Long-Term Durability Which Is a 1.8mm Thick Diameter.C) Strap Buckle looks thin & tacky also.NOT VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE ESPECIALLY SINCE I NEEDED A PAIR OF NEW BASIC QUALITY BAR PINS.

A little bet hard

The spring bars that came with this strap were slightly smaller than those on the band on my Citizen Eco Drive watch case. After trying the new bars with the new strap, one side came off in less than an hour of normal wear. Switched the new ones out with the old bars, and all is well. Strap itself fits the watch and my small wrist well.

I read reviews that said this was a little short and that is exactly what it is. I have an older watch that does not have the big clock face of today's watches that may be able to use a short band. I am on the second to last hole in the band and the remaining strap barely makes it to the retention loop and second retention loop just slides around. A little longer and they would have a winning product.Nice looking and way more orange in color than the picture

It's really good looking, and it seriously doesn't look like a band under $10, but I would suggest future buyers to pay attention to the size, I got a 18mm one when my watch could only handle 15mm, I ended up squeeze it in and injured my finger.But after all, i really like this band, it brings new life to my old watch.

Easy way to add a touch of style to an old watch. I only wish the padding was thicker and the alligator impression in the leather more pronounced to provide a more luxurious feel. Easy to install, and beautiful color!

I chose this strap because I needed something of decent quality that came with new Bar Pins to install on my Swiss Army Watch and noticed it was a good seller on Amazon. SO FAR NOT IMPRESSED.* THE BAR PINS ARE SUB-PAR MEASURING AT 1.5mm - If you have any watch worth $50+ dollars the Bar Pins should have stronger spring tension that come only with the thicker better quality diameter measurement of 1.8mm which is the Par measurement for Bar Pins & minimizes the chance of losing your High Value Watch!* The Buckle looks cheap & flimsy - since it is a man's strap it should be slightly thicker which improves the strength and gives a look of slightly more masculinity.* The Strap itself looks fine and of decent quality but after reading some reviews recently some people said the strap didn't last a year. I swim daily so if this Strap falls apart anytime less than 1yr - Trust me.... I'll be demanding a full refund.ALL MY BASIC TIMEX BANDS LASTED 5yrs SWIMMING DAILY - IF THIS BAND HOLDS UP AFTER A FEW MONTHS I WILL INCREASE MY RATING TO 4 STARS

Strap itself is soft and feels good. Be warned though it is very short. For a man you will only have 1 or 2 holes at the end of the band to secure the clasp. Not long enough in my opinion.

I thought this was a one-size-fits-all watchband for women's watches, but it's way too big to replace mine (basic Timex), It may be a man's watchband, not sure. I'm trying to decide whether it's worth it to ship it back or whether it's just throwing good money after bad. I guess I should have paid more attention to measuring my band instead of thinking *one size fits all* would work.

I bought this band nine months ago to mount on my newly purchased Citizen Men's BM8180-03E Eco-Drive Stainless Steel Watch with Green Canvas Band. I wanted to replace the ugly green canvas band that comes with the watch. I used the spring bars from the original band to mount this replacement. Everything went smoothly It felt great, was not stiff from the first day and I was very happy when it arrived.The bad news: I wear this watch nearly everyday. The band wore out much quicker than any other leather watchband I have owned. See my pictures.So, for less than 10 bucks, it will do the job. Just don't count on it to last as long as others.

It works, but I have some complaints. I don't know watch terminology, so bear with me. The little adjustable band to catch the dangling end of the strap with the holes has a prominent seam where it is stitched together, and that chafes unless you spin it around to be facing out. Then it just looks bad. The metal rod that goes into the holes has gotten quite loose and wobbly over the past few months of use, and I sometimes need to straighten it out to get the watch on. I guess those are the issues I found. Maybe it's all a consequence of my scrawny wrists.

I purchased this item on March 10, 2015. No "handy little knobs" on mine. Was a pain in the neck to install. It does NOT seem very secure although the pins are in the holes. Some reviews mention the band just falling off and trashing their watch. I don't feel real easy about it.

Cheap. Go ahead and spend a little more and get something worth wearing.

Picture of underside of the band shows a spring catch to remove the band from a watch face. That catch does not actually exist in the shipped product. I am unable to use this band on my watch as that feature is necessary to attach and remove the band. Disappointed.

I used these leather straps as replacements for my Citizen Eco Drive watch. At 18mm, they were 2mm more narrow than my old straps, but that was my mistake. I could not use the included tension spring rods, so I used the originals for the watch. That part was no big deal. However, the durability of these straps was terrible. The original straps lasted me longer than 2 years. The finish wore off of these very quickly and they looked very cheap after only a couple of weeks. I used them for about 6 months before I could not stand it anymore and I purchased some higher quality true alligator leather straps from eBay. The only redeeming quality for these straps was the price, which is why I got them in the first place and am giving these 2 stars instead of 1 star, but ultimately it is better to spend more money and get some quality straps that your watch deserves.

To wide for any of my watches, especially the one I wanted it for. Almost seems like it's for a mans watch.

The band is beautiful and made my watch feel brand new. My watch is waterproof, though this band is NOT. I did wear it into the shower a few times, but took it off almost immediately every time. Still, it is falling apart on me after 8 months and will need to be replaced AGAIN. This time I will go with another brand.

April 22, 2014..both small band loops that you tuck the band into to hold it broke and the band itself is cracking and about to break as well. So, it's not a strong band and spending $12 a year for a cheap band is ridiculous.It only lasted 15 months so, I'd put it under 'cheap' in my book.

While the strip so far looks OK, the loop at the end of one part, holding the pin that connects it to the watch, was not tight. It thus took 20 minutes to install insrtead of the usual two.

Not sturdy at all. I bought a different, similarly priced, strap 2-3 years ago (no longer available), which was very secure and lasted a long time until it wore down. This one is already falling apart after less than a year. The 2nd loop fell off, the tongue on the clasp is very wobbly, and the whole clasp fell off at one point (though I was able to put it back on).

After about 1 year of regular wear, the band began coming apart. Not a good value.

I have a basic Timex that I like, and simply replace the straps when they break. I usually buy this brand, and they usually last about a year before something breaks. However this time the leather rings that you slide the band under (there are two of them) both broke within 6 WEEKS of their installation. So can't say that I recommend them any more. Will try another brand...

Really retains moisture. I usually get 9 months out of a strap before that leather strap smell seeps in and you must replace it. This strap lasted about 1 month. Would not re-buy.

I'm usually very generous with my reviews, but not for this item. Straight out of the box the leather pattern on the strap is already peeling off.

I received this band today and despite the fact it is said to fit all brands it does not fit my Timex.

Both pins are too short and can not be removed, so I can not use the original pins.

Main thing is: Picture shows a burgundy color, I received a tan color band! It looks like you pay $10 for it (that is, it looks as cheap as it is, from the picture I was hoping for something that looked of slightly better quality, but this looks cheap).

The watch band looks great, however the quality is just not there. I purchased this for a watch that I only wear once or twice a week. Both loops fell off with in wearing it a couple dozen times. No way to contact the company except for requesting a partial refund.Glad I found this out before I lost the watch because of it.

The watch band had faulty pins & after refastening the watch band back together twice, it ended up falling apart again while I was working at a public venue. I ended up losing my entire watch...not happy!!!

I purchased this Voguestrap in the middle of July 2016. Today both of the small bands that hold the buckle to the strap failed and the watch fell to the floor. Fortunately, the floor is carpeted and the watch is still working. I would never purchase this watch band again, as it failed with less than six months use under normal conditions. This is not acceptable.

The strap broke on this piece of junk after a couple of weeks of use. It is delicate as a flower and too dainty in width for a man's watch band even if it were sturdy. Order something else.

EDIT 01/26/17: After less than a year, these straps are already falling apart. Ever since I got into a car crash last August, the straps have smelled foul- kind of like motor oil and dirty socks. Every home remedy in the book hasn't worked in getting the smell out of these things. The inside of these straps is a light brown- this is fake and rubs off after a few months. Just the other day, the adjustable loop used to hold back one of the straps when the watch is being worn fell off. Today, I noticed that one of the straps has split open in several places on the inside. The whole system has been grossly compromised. It's a shame, too, because I really did like these straps, but they just don't hold up over time.EDIT 04/14/2017: The strap started to tear where it meets with the lugs and actually fell off today! I would have lost my watch if someone walking be hind me wasn't such a nice person. Overall, I recommend looking elsewhere.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Good straps. They even come with their own pins. I used mine on a Seiko 5, and I think that it looks great.One con with these straps is that after a few months, the leather tends to fold at the point where the straps "pin down" if that makes sense. It probably doesn't.Anyway, I recommend these straps. I'm wearing them right now as I write this review. Exciting, I know.

I bought this strap two times:July 2013The strap was great! It had high quality leather and great pins - with easy to pull spring mount attachment. This strap lasted almost 3 years. April 2016The strap looks cheap and flimsy. The leather is low quality and cheapened pin mounting attachment. I am afraid it will fall off any time. They have kept the product id the same but cheapened the strap considerably.My guess is a majority of good reviews are old ones. My advise will be not to buy this strap at this time.Update July, 2016Brought the rating to one star (wish I gave it zero). The clasp and the pin have such poor quality that the watch did fall off in the bus. Thereby I lost my favorite valuable watch. I am very disappointed.

The pins that hold the watch to the strap are not strong enough to hold. The watch has fallen off my wrist two times because the pins have released. Having to buy a new band from local retailer. Will seek to have refund.
