This is the perfect purse for someone who wants a designer style purse but doesn't want to pay designer prices. I use this purse everyday, I get complements on it constantly and it has held up very well. It is easy to clean (yes I have spilled stuff on it). There are 3 pockets inside that are very convenient and hold my phone and keys easily. It is a large-ish purse but not so large I feel like I am carrying a suitcase. The only downside (for me) was the strap it came with which you can take on or off. It was extremely stiff and never really loosened up- luckily I don't use the strap anyway. I plan to get this in a Spring-ier color in a month or so.

I bought this bag a full 12 months ago, and I hadn’t had the inclination to change it once. There was no reason to, as this is the best bag I’ve ever had, and I’m 59 years old.It’s perfect for someone who carries their life around in their satchel. I like how it stays open when I need it to, so when I’m home and I’m getting ready for work, I throw things I’ll need for the day right into it.So, as I said, I’ve been using this bag for 12 months straight and it’s starting to show some wear. I just can’t go find another kind of bag after finding something that was so perfect for me, so I just came back to it to order three new ones. A Black, Blue and Khaki.Also, I get a LOT of compliments on it. The silver studs add a really nice appeal. I really do love this bag.

I have wanted a Michael Kors purse for a couple years now. Unfortunately, the price is not in my range at the moment! So I started buying cheap $15 - $20 poorly made purses that did not even look that great to ride me over until my budget would allow me my designer purse. I found this MyLux purse after months of frustration and replacements of those other purses, which kept falling apart within a week or too. The MyLux looked designer-esque to me. The color/material looked gorgeous to me and the biggest selling point was the amount of room inside and the stable bottom equipped with pegs so that the purse never needed to touch the surface it was on. This product looked and worked EXACTLY how I wanted! As usual, Amazon delivered it quickly and in perfect condition. I was even impressed with the metal embellishment hanging off the front which has now become my official key holder. I never have to search through my purse looking for my keys again!! I would recommend this purse to anyone wanting a quality, durable, spacious purse that will not only last but looks great too!

This is such a great purse. Everyone who see's it absolutely loves it. There are a couple of scuff marks on the bag; but only visible if I point them out. The bag does come with a strap that attaches to the top of the purse on two clips near the zipper.The purse is approximately 13-14 inches long (I'll try to upload the pictures I took). Approximately 11 inches high and it does have 4 metal feet on the bottom.Will be buying more colors!

This is the 3rd purse I have received from them. First one had a tear on the outside, second ones handle was tearing. I contacted them and they told me to choose another purse of any price. So I chose this one. I love it. It's a tad bigger and the inside is awesome. It has 2 open pockets for keys and cell phone. On the other side it has a zipped pocket and another open one. It also has a pocket on the outside. It's beautiful. I love it! !!

Okay, typically I'm not a purse person. In fact, I tend to keep a purse until it is falling apart which is exactly why I purchased this purse. My last one is trashed. I guess you can say I'm committed to my bag but it's also that I hate shopping for a purse. I need something big enough to hold the odds and ends of 3 little girls and then all my stuff but I also don't want to carry a duffle bag. I won't spend more than $40 on a bag and quite frankly, that criteria alone makes shopping for a bag difficult.I got this bag last night, opened it and instantly had a purse high! It is beautiful inside and out! Love the flat hard bottom and the way the top opens up like an old Drs. bag. I can see everything. Has several pockets inside, not just one large hole for everything to fall into and is incredibly gorgeous. The picture here doesnt do it justice. So happy with this purchase...can ya tell?UPDATE: 11/05/2012 LOVE this bag so much that I just came back and ordered 1 in every color!!! May give as gifts but may just keep them all for me!!!

Who will not love this bag?? I am really inlove with this 2 tone purse!!I bought read and black and it's really beautiful combination! I love the color..I love the design.. it's really elegant purse.. my money buying this is really worth it! $25.99 I feel like I paid more coz it's look expensive! The bow is detachable so if u don't like the bow u can remove it so easy ( I love the bow anyway :) ) The bag arrived with scratch and I like to cry! I feel terrible to have a search in my beautiful bag!! I contacted amazon to ask for refund and I contacted the Scarlet on customer service and they response so fast! They give me a replacement ! And that's really amazing..they want me to dispose the other bag but for me it's really beautiful so instead of throwing it I will send go my mom in Philippines..for sure she will love this.. very beautiful product plus best customer service..good job scarleton!!

I don't normally buy anything but a high end leather purse. That said I have bought one or two really adorable purses that weren't. But the key it that have to really look high end. This is one of those purses. You would have to understand that patent leather is shiny...that is what makes it patent leather. I bought the blue and black combo on a lightening deal. The purse arrived in a storage bag ( not a thick one but still protective ) and then wrapped again in plastic. The bow was black and stored inside the bad with the longer shoulder strap ( also black). The blue is not a blue black navy but it isn't a bright blue. It's just enough to create the look as you see in the picture. What I like best is the black attached straps. They are long enough to carry on your shoulder if you want.... and this is a must for me. I doubt I will ever attach the shoulder strap. The bow also has a clip and you can put it anywhere you want but I like it on the blue side so it shows up better. The ONLY thing I would change is having slide in pockets on the inside where the bag opens and closes. When you open the purse, and look at the zipper, that area between that and the outside of the bag. It does have inside pockets but I prefer to have a handy place to slide in my phone while my purse is zipped shut. But this isn't a deal breaker at this price! I'm very pleased and the size is pretty consistent of my Michael Kors bags. I'll be using this one for dressier occasions, it's sharp.

At first I was hesitant when I got this in the mail. The purse was stiff and the material didn't move well. It looks like a black patent shoe (only navy in my case) and acts like it as well. I bought the navy and cream color. Love the colors and the bow as well. I took a hair dryer to the bow to reshape it as shipping wasn't kind to the bow. The bow keeps trying to go back to how it came, but it's getting over time. ON the purse I got the bow is navy blue not cream with navy outline as the picture shows. I like that I can take the bow off or put it on the purse. After using the purse for a few weeks, I love this purse. I get so many compliments on it and love the size of the purse. It comes with a shoulder strap, but I haven't used that yet as I like the two handles, plus with the dip in the center of the handles, I can easily get my arm through the handles and have the purse on my shoulder. I highly recommend getting this purse. Look closely at the description, not the picture as the colors are correct in the description, not the case if your looking at the picture. The purse is super shinny and reflects a lot.

Such a beautiful sleek elegant purse! I was in need of a new updated one and began searching on here since many name brand purses in stores are super expensive. This purse was not too expensive and is so absolutely gorgeous!! Looks exactly like the picture and I ordered the red and black and got that exactly!

Beautiful. The epitome of class and style. Be cautious, however. The pictures/colors are off. Don't purchase based on what the picture shows you it looks like. Purchase by the WORD combination. For example, I wanted a red/black one based on the picture that clearly showed a red/black purse. However, when I chose that option, it said it was a rose/black combo and I figured they were being loosey-goosey by being fluffy in calling "red" "rose." But, uh, no. A very PINK rose/black purse arrived, and it wasn't going to work for me. However, God bless Amazon Prime, they sent me the red/black (even though the picture showed it as a pink/black purse.

I love this bag but especially like the the fact the the bow is detachable. It is the right size for day and evening without being too big for evening wear or too small for daytime wear.

I get so many compliments on this bag! I absolutely love it. I only have one issue with it and that's when I try to put the strap to use it as a shoulder bag the hook falls off and doesn't stay on. It seems cheaply made in that area. I'm going to try to take some pillars and see if I can tighten that way. Besides that I love it!

Super cute/roomy purse. I love the way it looks and is practical for my use. There are only 2 reasons why I can't give it a full 5 stars:1.) It's pretty uncomfortable to wear as an arm bag for more than like 10 minutes. I'm an arm bag girl so this is disappointing. I refuse to wear it out if I know I won't be able to put it down, which is a shame because it's so purdy and matches a lot of my outfits. Which brings me to reason #2.2.) Because of above reason, even though I HATE side strap purses/sling purses/whatever, I love this purse and knew I could adjust the extra strap it comes with to hopefully a small enough setting to my length standard. Unfortunately, I can NOT figure out how to attach it. There's 2 obvious connecting rings on the bag itself, but on the strap there's only 1 clip. I've played/stared at this thing for awhile and I just can't figure it out, unless I got a defective one. OR I'M A COMPLETE DOOF :D

Gorgeous bag, it's a bit bigger than expected, but I like big bags! It's very pink, which the picture reflects, but the color described is off. Love it, lots of compliments!

First of all, I love the purse. The inside has a striped black and white liner. The minimalist look of this handbag is on point. The light grey goes well with many outfits. It also turned out to be a little bigger than I expected (in a good way). I like the metal feet on the bottom of the bag to prevent it from getting dirty, something you see on designer bags. I did not have any problems about the handles (yet) as a lot of people have warned about. However, I do not like the attachable body strap that came with it. It has a large zigzag stitch down the middle of the whole strap. It is unappealing to me.Overall, I think it was a good investment. Big enough to hold a tablet or a notebook. Classic style. 9/10 would buy again.

The quality is better than what I was expecting. The colour is not as red as seen in the picture though but its not very far from the colour seen. Also, the bag is a little smaller than what is seen but the bag overall is of good quality and it can carry lots of stuff. I don't regret buying it at all.

I received the purse today, and I was satisfied. It's a good quality but not in the best. I could see the glue and knots at the top of the purse and it smelled not good so that I should wait until it's gone. But it's a good size and very spacious, I could fit both of Spanish and Chemistry textbooks inside the bag. There is one pocket with zipper and two pockets without zipper. One is smaller than the other one. The fabric that was used inside is not good enough, however it's not bad. I would recommend it to early 20s to 30s.

A nice, firm tote! I gave it to my daughter and she takes the satchel with he when she is visiting people. There is also plenty of space in it, with enough pockets for everything !

Beautiful purse! Perfect for the holiday season. The only thing I don't like is that the middle pocket is sewed to one of the pockets next to it. Just my preference for it to not be attached, probably because I'm not used to that. Good size purse. I can fit a lot into it, including my checkbook, wallet, cell phone, cigarettes, lotion, mini-brush.

When i have got the bag i saw the metal clip to attach the bow with the bag was missing.. Scarleton sent us a new bow with clip attached in few days after following customer care instructions. Happy with the service. However the neck of the bag is not handy. It's very narrow. But size of the bag is perfect... Color, finishing and everything else is also good

This handbag is absolutely gorgeous! The contrasting deep red and black is very sharp. The bag and handle are shiny and reflect light. This bag does not have a lot of inside storage and has rigid sides. It is good for a night out or maybe even a weekend event, but I would not use it on a daily basis for general errands and shopping. I purchased it as a ‘lightening deal’ so I got it for a very good price.

Love the style (lots of compliments), love the media pockets and zipper pockets for a well-organized bag. 5 stars for design and organization. Unfortunately, it is quite stiff and doesn't open very wide, making it difficult to retrieve items out of the bag or return them when you're finished with them. 3 stars for ease of use. Thus, I'm giving it an overall 4-star rating.

This purse is beautiful and I love the design. The only reason I am marking it down is because the stitching came loose quickly. I bought the purse in September and it is now March and the clip for the arm strap completely ripped out. It has been broke for roughly 2 months, so it did not last long.

good bag, just not the color in the picture. I bought the purse for the color that was displayed in the picture. A real royal deep purple. Not what I got. Otherwise the purse is a good purse. Nice and roomy, have got compliments on it.

Nice bag, but cell phone compartment too small. Can't zip bag closed when phone is in pocket. No compartment for keys etc. Disappointed but will use for awhile.

I really like the look of this bag however the feel of the material is almost plastic/rubber like on the straps and it is kind of stiff and awkward to open. I was very excited for this bag to be delivered but honestly I haven't used it yet as it seems like it will be a hassle to get in and out of due to the stiffness. On the upside, I only paid a fourth of the $101.00 original price. I would be sending it back for sure otherwise. The style is great but I wish it was a better quality bag.

Edit 12/23/14: I had previously loved this purse, however less than two months of use and it is falling apart. All four handles are ripping open. I am requesting to return my product.I purchased the Apricot color. It is more of a yellowish-ivory color. I really love that the purse is so sturdy, it holds up well. It is very similar to my friends "Michael Kohrs Jet Set Travel Saffiano Leather Small Tote" purse in style, shape, size, and texture. I get a lot of compliments on it.The lining of the purse is made of a pretty black and white striped satin. It has a zipper pocket on one side, and three open pockets on the other side.The only negative is that when I purchased the purse, it had lots of little strings hanging off the seams. I just snipped them off, and it was perfect!

I read the reviews about the smell that came from this bag but thought maybe it was only a few that were affected in that way. When I recieved mine, it definately had a strange smell to it. Getting past the smell, I tried to zip it and it was a struggle and needless to say, it broke! Not very happy about that. However, the bag itself feels durable and has plenty of room as it is very spacious. I would more then likely buy from this line again just to see if maybe the bag I received was one that had some flaws to it and hopefully their others are of better quality.

Nice but too much

I was really excited about purchasing this purse. It looks great on the site. However, this purse is very cumbersome. I have a hard time getting my wallet in and out of this purse. The inside pockets are droopy - they do not hold items well. The color is nice. I have received complements on the color which is why I reviewed this as a three star versus two star. As far as use goes, this would be a two star review for me.

A little bulky and stiff for my taste, but it looks nice with the dress I bought it for.

I really love the dressy, patent leather look of this purse. However, I made the mistake of hanging it on my "purse tree" with other purses which caused a deep transfer of color ink on the back of the purse & it cannot be removed without expense & with no guarantee of success. It's only a few spots on the back so I still wear it but I'm disappointed. Protect in a non plastic cloth bag while not using.

Same as other reviews. Nice looking handbag but does not open fully. So your hand gets stuck.

Very cute bag but the finish at the top of the bag, around the handles is ripped (not cut in oval shape)so I gave the rating three stars. No one else should notice unless they inspect my bag 😄 but good for the price.

The purse is nice, but I'm not 100% happy with the color. I ordered the khaki, but when I opened it, it's a light orange color..Major let down.

Additionally, the item arrived slightly different than the picture. The picture shows round metal accents under each handle attachment. However, the purse I received had pyramid shaped studs under each handle, which I did not prefer.

Much cheaper product than I was expecting. The material isn't smooth like I thought from the pictures and looks more plastic-y than leather/pleather. Lots of thread ends showing in the stitching. Handles could be slightly larger so it's not in your armpit when you're carrying it. I'll try it out but I'm honestly a little embarrassed to use something so cheap looking... I'm thinking it looks better in other colors though, I only got black.

The item shipped was clearly an used one. It had peanuts and shells scattered inside the bag when i opened it for the first time with lots of hope. It is ridiculous.!! I am just retaining this because i do not have time to ship it back and i do not want to waste my money for the shipping charges that i have paid when i bought this item. I am giving 2 star because, it did not have any major noticeable damage in it. The inside Zip works sometime but gets struck many times. I can not give this to my wife as a gift, but can give to someone who does not know that this bag is worth for peanuts as it gets shipped with peanuts and shells in it.

I can't hate on this purse too much, because it was inexpensive. The seller's description of the material as soft and substantial is completely off base. It's a very stiff purse. The inner pockets are too small. My cell phone only fits into the zippered pocket instead of the two pockets that were designed for cell phones, which are really more the size of flip phones and four-year-old smart phones.The hardware is nice. The stitching on the bag had flyaways from the beginning, and they've gotten worse as time has passed.

The shipping was super fast and the color (coral) true. The SIZE, and thus reason for my purchase, is Not! 16'x10.5' is bigger than my 15' MacBook and there's no way it would fit in this. I say at most it's 12' long and 8' high, my friends 13' MacBook Air wouldn't fit in this. It's going back. I really can't abide when proportions are wrong, it's the difference between a satchel and a tote, a work purse and a fun afternoon purse.

Disappointing. Picture makes it look better proportioned than it looks 'live'. Too long and short. Stiff. Haven't been eager to use.

Bad quality... pure plastic

Not quite what I expected. The bow looks funny on mine and (FYI it detatches). It's very hard and plasticy...kinda reminds me of squeeky shoes.Not a very good purse...but it's hard, so if you need a hard surface to write on...your purse is avaliable. 😞

While this bag is pretty, that's the only good thing about it. The bag is very stiff and it makes it hard to pull things out of the bag or even slip them in. The bow is also not ivory as pictured, but blue.

The purse is OK, not worth over $100 as they claim! Its synthetic and it shows. I got a purse with totally different color combination than the photo. I called Amazon, they told me to call the vendor. I called the vendor, they said Amazon is shipping them. To make a long story short, what you see in the picture may or may not be what you get! Color combinations and ribbons vary! Won't be buying this item from Amazon any more.

I need to return this item. The inner zipper is defective. I no longer have any paperwork from this purchase. I can find no method for actually TALKING to anyone at Amazon. Please contact me.

I absolutely loved this purse in purple and the one that I ordered in red. Looked very expensive and colors were beautiful.Both purses after maybe a month or month and a half of use have had the handles come apart and the strap rip off (purple purse) and the handles ripping apart (red purse). I know that they are not super expensive however 40 bucks for each is not exactly cheap and I'm not in the habit of throwing money out. Unfortunately that is exactly what I feel I have done. I would not recommend at all.

The size was good. But it looked like cheap glittery plastic. Not at all what I wanted.

Don't get me wrong, great bag in style. A little big but I could deal with that. However, I was using the shoulder strap and after a week or two one of the attachments between the strap and the bag just *SNAP!* broke. I had been very gentle and careful with my bag and am certain that I did not weigh it down nearly to a point to cause such an issue. Just poor craftsmanship. When I tried to contact the seller, and this may be an amazon problem, the only possibility I was given was to send it back in for a refund, which isn't my cup of tea. After all, why should I take time out of my life to package and ship bag a faulty bag just so I can complain about not having a bag. Stupid.

On my way to work the handle broke, my phone fell out of the bag. Very inconvenient. Please don't buy

Too stiff and bulky.

This purse arrived without the bow as shown in picture and the original showed two chain links on the shorter handle which didn't happen. I was disappointed and returned!

This has couple of defects, Shoulder strap was missing, I found couple of scratches on the bag and bow has stitched opened, The bag was looking like it was old stock item, lot of dusts there on the bag. I am totally unsatisfied with this purchase. In future I will think twice if I have to purchase anything from Scarleton.

No room for placing your daily essentials. Material not great; loses luster within no time. I would not recommend!

Had to return because I ordered the off white/navy with the bow off white. It came with a navy bow not the off white. The bow was all out of shape and being plastic like it would not flatten out. OK purse but not what I expected.

The purse is cute but the shiny material is coming off. This makes the purse a waste of money and ugly.
