| Beautiful & Inexpensive Update!June 21, 2017 My new kitchen had white cabinets with white pulls & white appliances...it was awful! The switch out to these silver cabinet knobs has made a HUGE difference! I even decided I could live with the white appliances a little longer since these knobs made it look so much more modern. They're a wonderful weight, easy to install, and seem sturdy after 3 months of use (haven't had to re-tighten any). They do have the tiny little "tab" on the back to keep them from spinning, but as long as you're mindful of that when you're installing them, you won't see any cabinet damage. I read the reviews on this item and purchased them when someone had posted how well they went with the slate colored appliances. We just purchased new black stainless kitchen appliances and these knobs compliment them perfectly. Our cabinets are white and we are not ready for the whole kitchen makeover. These knobs are perfect to give the kitchen a fresh look now the old white appliances are gone and replaced with the black stainless ones. Very stylish. I needed some longer screws on a couple of the drawers and had to purchase them at the local hardware store. Otherwise the screws that came with the knobs fit the rest of the cabinets and drawers. Maybe slightly darker than "brushed nickel" but will match nicely with towel racks that are. They aren't too dark, and have a brown tint to them. They don't show much bronze. I didn't want the black iron look, so these were perfect.Just don't expect them to be too bronze. | A struggle if your doors are 3/4 inchMay 5, 2017 Nice finish, good weight to them and for a decent priceDown side is you get screws that will protrude maybe an 1/8" if fitting on 3/4" doors. I didn't see anything in the product listing that stipulates only for 1/2" thick doors, but maybe I missed something.Anyhow, you can either replace screws with slightly longer, or as I did, countersink the screw head a bit into the door so as to have enough thread poking out to bite into.If screws a tad longer, then 5* Very good buy!April 30, 2017 We bought a lot of these and they worked great. We bought a second hand unit and my husband used a stain on it -- making it REALLY dark and REALLY shiney. I wasn't too keen but bought these to add a bit of depth and warmth to the unit, and the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they're a lot darker than they are in the picture. | Quality seems pretty solid, howeverSeptember 25, 2017 Quality seems pretty solid, however...the picture is extremely misleading. I was expecting knobs with a fair amount of copper showing (right?!?) because of the picture. Nope! Honestly, they're dark brown matte knobs...NOT A SPEC OF COPPER. I'm pretty disappointed. I'm keeping them only because they're good quality and look the best, with our cabinets, out of the options I got. Definitely not keeping them because they're fun and unique...like I thought they'd be from the picture. Attractive. | These knobs don't look anything like the pictureAugust 21, 2017 These knobs don't look anything like the picture. They are a paint finish that is almost black without any brass showing or grain or roughness. Some people complain about the burr on the back but that is to lock it in place when the screw is tightened--don't spin the knob or you will wear a groove in the cabinet door and when the knob loosens slightly it will spin annoyingly. Hold the knob straight and tighten the screw. Nothing like the pictureFebruary 27, 2017 Doesn't look like the picture. They are not porous looking as you would expect from a "cast iron" product.
