Five Star Reviews: | 23% Ping Pong table August 17, 2015 Perfect ping pong table for our community center. Well constructed and sturdy. Sturdy, folds up nice and easy when not in ... January 6, 2015 Sturdy, folds up nice and easy when not in use. Love the feature to play by yourself for practice. Great for families to play together. Highly recommended! Great table bad delivery times January 3, 2015 Love this table. Bought it for my husband for xmass and so far the whole family loves it. My kids, their friends, my husband, and our adult friends have all been playing on it, almost everyday, and really enjoy it. The only problem was with the delivery. Amazon had 3 different time fames (9-12; 12-3; 3-6) but after scheduling a time the delivery company said they do not deliver after 3. I had planned on having it delivered on the 23rd from 3-6 because it was too big to hide from my husband. However, after scheduling a 3-6 drop off on that day, and rescheduling at work to take the time off, I was told that they do not deliver after 3pm. I ended up having it delivered a week before and then having to hide a 200 pound ping pong table from my husband. Needless to say he suspected something, ruining what could have been a complete surprise UGH!. The delivery man said that Amazon made the mistake by putting a 3-6 time frame on their delivery page. Besides that the table is great. Ping Pong Table September 25, 2013 This table is of good quality. It is heavy and was a best to get up the stairs, but other than that it is great. I would tell my friends to purchase this table. Table Tennis TAble May 29, 2012 This table was easy to install, light weight and totally fun to play on. It folds easily and even more so to move around the house for storage when not being used. My two boys, 8 and 13, are crazy over it as they play regularly by themselves. I recommend this to any family who wants to enjoy a sport together | 63% I like the bag to keep it in also June 21, 2017 Just what I thought it would be. I like the bag to keep it in also. Nice set for the price! June 11, 2017 This is a nice table tennis set! Good quality and the balls respond well off the paddle. Much better than the old cheap pips out style. Smooth face on these is nice. Exactly what I expected. April 17, 2017 I bought this set with our new table. The paddles and balls worked great for my teenage kids. Good package October 14, 2016 Very nice beginner set! Paddles are decent and will make your balls fly and bounce well. If you're more experienced and like more ball control, I'd recommend some upgraded paddles especially if you enjoy putting a spin on your balls. OMG! May 8, 2014 I've used these so many times since coming to college. For the price the value is absolutely amazing! Would buy again if need be. | 55% Good product August 1, 2017 I bought these for me and my 9yr old daughter and these are great to learn, they look of good quality. Good set for the price. March 19, 2017 Good paddles for the price. I'm not a pro or anything so these cheaper paddles work fine for amateurs. but the quality of the rackets is good for our teenagers March 3, 2017 Getting them out of the packaging was challenging, but the quality of the rackets is good for our teenagers. Best for beginners November 29, 2016 This is my first product feedback on Amazon.I loved this ping pong set as this is what I wanted for as a beginner. I have used it more than 20 days over last two months and it hasn't broken yet/wore off. Over the time I unintentionally banged it few times against the table side and still no issues.I would certainly recommend it to all entry level players. Once you get comfortable with your game, you will realize that it is not what would be preferred by a skilled player (very well aligned with product specifications). I might use it for few more months before I move to the next level. Great Paddles, Great Balls! February 20, 2016 The paddle themselves will definitely change your game play. I tend to want to kill the ball with the less padded paddles and they never give the correct spin and go far whereas these paddles allow for power and spin shot combos. They also come with great playing balls, much better than the average store bought balls. Very impressive set and would highly recommend for competitive game play. Holds up to many hands December 23, 2015 Just ordered and received a new ping-pong table http://www.amazon.com/JOOLA-Inside-Table-Tennis/dp/B002HWNVZK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1450937345&sr=8-2&keywords=ping+pong+tableDidn't realize that we needed to purchase the paddles separately, so back to the drawing board. I need something that would hold up to daily use but wasn't going to break the bank. This is set was exactly what I was looking for to withstand the many kids from the neighborhood that would be stopping by to play. So far, so good! The paddles hit the ball swiftly and glide to the other side with ease. | 51% Good quality for home use November 2, 2017 item was a stated and arrived quickly. quality was good and came with a few balls to get the game started. 5 Stars November 7, 2015 Introduction:I purchased this table tennis set to make use of the ping pong table at work with my coworkers.Pros:It comes with everything you need when you first start playing (besides the table itself).4 paddles and 3 balls are included. You have spare paddles if you're just playing with a friend and spare balls if any of them break. The paddles and balls work as expected.Cons:The paddles are cheap quality. The wood is light/cheap. The rubber is cheap and the glue can peel off on the sides a little bit. Adding spin is not easy but can be done. The balls are 1 star quality. The balls stink really bad if you tear them open. Conclusion:I think this set is a perfect beginner set and I was completely satisfied with my purchase. If you are intermediate to expert level, you will not be happy with this set. Buy higher quality paddles and 3 star balls instead. These are Stiga"s low end paddles. December 1, 2014 I ordered this set for my kids. On receipt it was obvious that STIGA had made these very inexpensive paddles to meet a low price point. At the time I ordered them they were only $12.35 for 4 paddles and 3 balls. As usual you get what you pay for (and inexpensively made set). I will suggest that you spend a little more and buy the better quality model STIGA Performance Table Tennis Set (ASIN: B00345XX5W). They are currently $29.99 for a set of 4 paddles and 6 balls. Stiga's customer service is second to none, if you have a problem they will make it right, and that is why I am giving them a 5-star rating. Thin paddles but great value - Some loved it some didn't, I did September 6, 2014 There were a great value for the price. Obviously these aren't top of the line paddles. I liked how I could feel the impact of the ball on contact with the paddle.I play at work. Bought these for everyone to use. Some people liked the paddles and other did not. I loved them. But I also loved the next grade up which is what I bought when these went missing. Then 2 of these showed back up again. Go figure. The upgrades went missing and i use these to this day. Bought another set of the next quality up but I have them sitting my my locker until these go missing again. I would buy these again for the price. For new players, you really can't go by our reviews all that much. You really have to use it and see if you like the way it feels. Even if you don't like it after you get it, I don't see how you can not say it is not worth what it costs. Most experienced players probably wouldn't not like these paddle though. If you are experienced, I would say get the 29 dollar set. They have more padding. does the job, has held up to childs play May 18, 2014 Good value for price, no one is a professional. lots of children have used them and they have still going fine after 5 months. No issues, padding has not come unglued as some report. They are as advertised, inexpensive Table Tennis Paddles | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 17% Great table -- bad stapling May 4, 2017 Top shelf. Easy, although tedious, to put together. My only complaint is how bits of the assembly were stapled into the pressboard of the table, weakening its structure. It should be taped or else stapled to the box, not to the table tops. With a little better set-up instructions this would be a 5star November 7, 2016 Ordered this before reading reviews, after reading reviews I got scared and tried to cancel order but couldn't stop it. Decided to keep it upon arrival. It was a pain to put together but was not that hard it took me an hour and a half. would have been nice to have the hardware labelled. I keep this in my garage and have had a blast playing with my family and friends. I don't know why people complain about the material it's like any other ping pong table I've seen. This is NOT an outdoor table, but works great inside like it is intended too. Nice October 15, 2016 Great table! Take a deep breath before assembling. Make sure as the instructions state that you have a few able bodied adults available. The instructions are tough but functional. End result is a nice table that plays as anticipated. Good product January 28, 2013 I like it, good table, well built, easy to fold up and move. It was easy to assemble and store. | 23% Four Stars June 22, 2017 Bought these as replacements for some pretty cheap ones that came with a table.Good feel. Balls are real. Satisfied customers! August 27, 2016 All we were expecting! My grandsons and I played recently, for a couple days actually, and really enjoyed the equipment. I would have preferred to receive some three-star balls as well, perhaps 4 one-star and 4 three-star, so they could experience the difference between the two. Note: if they were truly beginners it wouldn't be an issue but they are already pretty good players. The equipment is excellent for the price and I anticipate many good years with these paddles. The net is perfect.. March 5, 2015 The net is perfect...kettler tables need a special kind of contraption. The balls are fine...extra colors for different kinds of lighting are helpful. The paddles are average and already starting to peel a little. | 21% Great value but the balls leave marks on the table September 30, 2016 This is a great value for the set so thus 4 stars. I knocked off one star because the balls left marks on my new Joola ping pong table. Joola was not too helpful with suggestions for how to clean up the ball marks without messing up the paint. So be aware if you really value the look of your table, these balls will leave little circle prints all over your table. Great paddles for the price February 6, 2016 Great paddles for the price. Awesome spin and padding is thick, extra foam is great. Seriously, for price, this is a great deal. It's 40 bucks at Dicks Sporting Goods, so good job yet again for amazon. Only complaint, and minor, is the paddles are light, probably the reason so affordable. But i'll trade the weight for the padding and spin. Compared to Killerspin JET300 and Butterfly Flail... February 1, 2016 Decent set for the price. These don't spin or control the ball nearly as well as a Killerspin JET300, but they are also much lighter than that paddle. I think both the Killerspin JET300 and the Butterfly Flail paddles are much better than these, but my teenage kids like these best because they think the Killerspin JET300 is too heavy, and the Butterfly Flail is too fast (too easy to hit the ball long) for their taste. | 20% Decent July 16, 2017 Decent quality. Had to glue two of the rubber pieces back on but not that big of a deal. good for beginners. April 3, 2017 good solid paddles for the price its totally worth, I am not sure if they are genuine stiga paddles but server the purpose as i am just a casual player, this might not suit a pro. Nice inexpensive set February 14, 2017 Nice inexpensive set. The balls dent easily so we have to replace those already, but the paddles are good quality. So can't recommend it. If you have a bunch of drunk ... June 15, 2016 These are ok for the casual game, but I'm not a casual player. So can't recommend it. If you have a bunch of drunk friends playing in the garage while holding their cups of beer, then yes, this is plenty good. But if you're going to have a competitive game, definitely get something better. BUT, I purchased it exactly for the causal player that comes to visit, that way I don't have to lend them my good expensive racket. So it is performing as expected. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 11% Not good quality. December 4, 2015 The screws started pulling out of the board material within the first week. Not good quality. The directions were a bit confusing, but was able ... January 3, 2015 The directions were a bit confusing, but was able to get it together within 5 hours. The first time I folded the table, one of the braces holding the support leg pulled from the bottom of the table. Since the table is basically particle board, there's really noting I can do to fix. If you have hhr patience to assemble April 5, 2014 Construction manual was very confusing. Should have been more user friendly. A log of parts coldly have been assembled before shopping Table I'd great now bug ditched book after a fed days Great Table December 28, 2012 I only gave it 3 stars because of the difficulty in assembling it. Directions were accurate but not very helpful. In followng the directions we found we had to retrace our steps occasionally. I would recommend this if you are talented with "put togethers" or hire someone to do this. After all was said and done it is a great table. Cheap in price but also in quality August 15, 2012 The main difference between this table and others is that its more thin. For the price its worth it but at the same time you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a high quality table, this is not it. If you are looking for a table that gets you up and running then this will do. | 7% Three Stars August 21, 2017 Very good but the balls are light with single star. you might want to order balls with 3 stars Improvement needed June 2, 2017 It is a nice package and paddles but the ping pong balls are too light weight. I had to buy the heavier ones separately. Handles are a bit rough February 3, 2017 Decent quality for the price. Wood handles are a bit too rough and need a bit of sanding. Orange balls don't bounce as well as the white ones. Both are 1 Star balls. Nice that the rubber seems to be well-glued to the paddles. I understand you get what you pay for but the ... December 11, 2016 I understand you get what you pay for but the rubber started peeling from the paddle on all four paddles, day one of use. I guess that may be the norm for paddles, but geesh. Hidden damage October 24, 2016 The actual paddles and balls seem to be fine. We are just using them for play at home in our rec room. What I was very disappointed with was that the product was damaged. One of the balls was completely bent in...like half of the ball was bent. What annoyed me even more was that it looked like someone knew that had happened and put it in the case with the good side of the ball showing, so you couldn't tell until you actually open the package and take the ball out. I'm assuming it was returned by someone and then sent to us because two of the paddles were wrapped in plastic and two were not. My kids really wanted to use them right away and not wait for me to send this back and order a new one, so we're keeping it. Just disappointed and annoyed. | 12% I am not satisfied and would not recommend or buy again September 19, 2017 I have only had these a short time and they are already coming apart. The red and black are lifting significantly at the top. I suppose I can glue them back but it may mess up the performance. I am not satisfied and would not recommend or buy again. Paddles are not great. July 20, 2017 Decent deal but even with a heavy duty cover on my table the rubber part is still lifting and bubbling from the heat or something. I've only had them 2 months and I can tell they won't last long. The balls all function fine so I rated a 3 instead of a 2. Good Paddle For beginner March 1, 2017 Good paddles for beginners. Rubber is soft but the paddle is fairly hard. Quality is as good as expected at this price. Paddles for beginners or kids but they are very cheap and will split if used alot April 3, 2015 These paddles are great for kids or beginners but they are not made for play that is above the beginner level. After using the paddles for a while one of the paddles split apart, I was able to glue the parts back together but it was not the same. Nice balls, poor paddles. February 11, 2015 Balls are great quality, but the paddles are very cheap. These paddles are very "soft" and light and do not provide the player with a lot force in hitting balls. These paddles would be great for older family members or young children who want a slower game, but these are not "performance" in any sense. In fact, the play is quite slow with these paddles. However, the balls are quality and have adequate play with some real "performance" paddles. | 16% Thin paddles May 3, 2017 The paddles are thin. I was hoping they were the thick stuffed kind, but they are not. They are still OK though.Balls cracked rather quickly. Very basic. October 28, 2016 These are very much the most basic bats you will find. Hence price. Good for first time players getting used to the game. No good for kings and queens of spin. Of which I am... ahem... one. Obviously. Average paddles December 28, 2015 These ping pong paddles are sturdy and the pads seem to be securely attached. The downsides I see are that some of the paddles have rough handles- as if they weren't sanded well enough in the factory (so we had to sand them ourselves), and the handles also seem about 1/2 inch to an inch shorter than others we have played with, which has given a few of us blisters where the end of the handle dug into our hands after playing for an hour. Not bad, but not the best ever. Ping pong balls are standard and I have no complaints about those! So far okay May 28, 2015 So far...okay. The table tennis paddle fits well in my hand and we had fun playing with the set although the 1-star ping pong balls are not very bouncy. While I appreciate having some free balls with the set, it's really annoying that they are not great quality. Do yourself a favor and buy the tournament quality 3-star balls along with these paddles. Cheap and cheaply made September 8, 2014 I got these two rackets because I noticed there was no padding at all under the rubber surface. Which in my case is exactly what I want. I'm not using this for standard ping pong, I'm using it for a different game that my office has created which is similar to racquetball. Only reason I give this 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because the quality of the construction of the rack itself is extremely poor. The wooden frame is more along the lines of balsa wood which is fine but if you hit the paddle on the table it breaks really easy. it would probably be fine for most ping pong play, but if you have kids or if you're looking for a crap at all it's probably going to take a little bit of a beating over the next few years. This is really not the right choice my paddle broke in about 2 or 3 games the other one has been lasting longer because I've been careful to be gentle with it but it looks like it is going to break soon.all that being said, it is very very cheap, so you could just get a few of these and just replace them as they break. The rubber on the front is the standard cheap ping pong paddle rubber, provides sufficient spin, or at least as much spin as one would expect from a paddle with zero padding. if it wasn't for the fact that these are so darn cheap I would have given it a 1 or 2 star rating, but for the price that I paid for these it's pretty hard to complain too much about it | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 11% Only lasts 6-8 months May 27, 2017 It is an ok table for the price, but it is falling apart. We've had it less than a year, store it in the garage, but the table surface (particle board) has separated from the frame in three places. The screws just pulled out of the particle board, leaving a hole in the underside of the table, which has made it hard to fix in any way.So the table surface lifts up on the sides. If you just want a beater ping pong table, it's ok, but I'd get something made with better materials so you don't play on this wavy surface. Broken already October 12, 2016 For the amount of money you have to pay for this, it should hold up more than a month. I have had this table for about a month and the metal bars on the side have fallen off because the screws just fall out from regular ping pong play. This table is fragile and won't hold up to the test of time if it can't last a month. You get what you pay for. August 8, 2016 Very flimsy. You might need epoxy or plastic wood to fix screws falling out because of Earth gravity. It might stand by itself but I am not sure for how long. Two stars because I can use it with my robot. Not worth the price paid December 2, 2011 This is an average to below average Table Tennis Table...I found the table to bow a bit in the middle and it had a few scratches and dings on the bottom from packaging. Legs were very small and thin as well. This is a $125 table at best...not $350. | 5% Arrived with damaged balls June 23, 2017 Two of the balls were dented upon arrival. Packaging should be better to avoid damage to the balls. The paddles seem to be of good quality however. Won't hold up December 30, 2016 Two pre-teen sons broke 2 paddles (splintered beyond repair) within first week of play. Before they broke, the rubber had already started peeling away from the backing. Same boys played with grandma's panda paddles for 2 years, under similar conditions, with no problems. I will not be purchasing these ever again. What you get at this price is great. We purchased these for our community pool which ... August 11, 2015 What you get at this price is great. We purchased these for our community pool which has a game room including ping pong. I must admit that the kids that use these paddles are not the most skilled nor do they seem to be too concerned with handling them properly. Kids will be kids. However I would have expected that the rubber pads on the paddles would have stayed on longer than a couple of weeks. They almost immediately started to peel off and quickly got to the point of having to be re-glued which didn't last too long either. I think we will have to look for all wood paddles the next time. | 6% ... a STIGA table and thought this would be of good quality. But if turned out that 2 of ... August 3, 2017 Chose these because we bought a STIGA table and thought this would be of good quality. But if turned out that 2 of the rackets after 5 mins of playing started splintering on the handle. Probably will be returning. but I wouldn't recommend this package because the paddle handle and the price May 3, 2017 The paddle handle is too short for my hands and I have small hands, so just a heads up. the balls are quality. but I wouldn't recommend this package because the paddle handle and the price. You get what you pay for. March 13, 2017 This set of four costs less than any one of my other paddles. I bought them for my office, and one broke after only a few weeks. Disappointed. Cheep made . September 9, 2016 It's ok but the surface came off really quick and I needed to glue it together. For the price it's ok . Average racquet-- Not worth it -- Waste of money May 20, 2016 This racquet doesn't provide you a good grip. Also it is too smallIf you're really serious about ping don't buy this one. Cheap paddles May 11, 2016 I needed some extra paddles for if I had guests over that wanted to play doubles. I own a few nicer paddles, but it gives them an unfair advantage when playing against these stiga paddles. I would recommend this for beginner players or children who aren't serious about the game. The paddles don't have great feel and you can't put spin and power on the ball due to the rubber quality.Pros+inexpensive+comes with 3 star balls+Feels comfortable in handCons-Cheap-Aren't meant for performanceTipsIf you are buying these for a competitive game, it means all players should use these paddles to level the playing fieldI would recommend saving up and buying better paddles. | 6% You get what you pay for! July 3, 2015 I was looking for a basic starter set. Paddles are cheap and not made well. Already peeling back on one of them and we only used it maybe 5-10 times total. Balls are okay but if you want good bounce, get better ones. Arrived with two out of three balls bent and unusable so I would probably not buy from this particular place again. Save the money and invest a bit more to get ones that do not fall apart so quick. Rubber peels-off way too fast January 7, 2015 Very disappointed. Rubber is peeling off after just approx 10 hours of playing time. We have been very careful with the paddles (i.e. not rubbing the edges of the rubber against the table or 'picking' at it with our fingers). Low glue quality is probably to blame. I'm no pro, but... June 13, 2014 I hardly ever review, but there's some things to know. Very low quality. Our office has this brand and they are beat up, so I thought I'd order some new ones for the guys on my team. The red and black part is not rubber like the ones at the office and might as well not be there at all. There's no cushion/grip to these for any spring/spinning. Just sayin... you get what you pay for with this. Not Good April 14, 2013 I had to return the racket set because the quality was not what I expected. If you don't play Ping pong regularly, this may be ok for you. But since I play ping pong on a regular basis, the design of the racket is not good enough. It only has one layer of material on the wooden structure, which means you can not do much when you hit the ball. By that I mean, it's hard for you to put some spin on the ball when you hit it. The surface of the racket feels very hard! I wanted it to feel softer. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 38% Terrible Ping Pong Table!! February 26, 2017 This is a terrible table!! After playing several times the table literally cracked in half!!!! We want a refund! It will not let me post the picture. Please contact me so we can resolve this issue. Poor design. Small screws barely attach to table January 15, 2017 Poor design. Small screws barely attach to table. I have had to replace with nuts and bolts to hold the integrity. Not a good table would not recommend this style to anyone December 26, 2016 Put the table together and after playing 3 rounds the screws came out. Not a good table would not recommend this style to anyone. For it to start coming apart is just unreal. Not satisfied with this product at all !!!! To purchase a 350.00 table that was so called on sale for 200.00 is a flat outlie. I believe that this table should have sold for 100.00 If I had known that it would start falling apart after a couple of games, I would have notpurchased this product at all....Not Happy Not recommended. I thought I would get cheap play for ... September 6, 2016 Very much an indoor (once you set it up, do not move the table if you can help it) At only 1/2" thick, it can and does warp and can have a sissy feeling to it where the brackets underneath literally pull off the table the very first time I took it out of stowage position. And my wife on the opposite side of the table, easing it down from both sides, supporting it, and it still fell apart. Not recommended. I thought I would get cheap play for low price. Now we are gluing 3/4" plywood under the tabletop to accept and hopefully HOLD the screws and brackets so the top stays on the tube base. This is a major play issue if your top is free floating around while games are playing. Terrible assembly directions. July 22, 2016 Terrible assembly directions!!!Very difficult to put together with such poorly written (and too few, inaccurate diagrams). Spontaneous Split January 4, 2013 The table arrived after a long wait. "Prime" means no cost shipping, but not two day in this case. But that's not the issue. The carrier, CEVA, was pretty rough on the box and it arrived with the table practically falling out on the sidewalk. But that's not the issue. Set up is easy, but time consuming. But that's not the issue. The issue is that the table, compressed fiberboard, developed a crack. The table is inside and this winter (dryness perhaps) it cracked. Four months new and it has a growing crack right down the middle. I don't see any warranty information on Amazon, so I don't know what to do. Inexpensive, yes. Cheap? Perhaps. | 2% Peeling Paddles in Only Three Weeks December 22, 2016 After only three weeks of light recreational use, the rubber is peeling off every single paddle. I realize these get great reviews; that's why I bought them. Maybe they just changed manufacturers. These are terrible. Moreover, there's nowhere on Amazon's website that allows contacting the seller. Very disappointing. (I purchased these paddles in December 2016.) The handle (grip) is little short too. The rubber is too thin and peeling off and one of the bat's handle split(broke) from the center in just 2 weeks. I would not recommend this product even for beginners. Not so good. January 22, 2014 After only a few uses the rubber covering is separating from paddle on three of the four paddles. These have a four star rating. Maybe this is a bad batch? Regardless, I'll purchase a different brand in the future. Very disappointed. Poor adhesive! January 20, 2014 Just as previous reviews have stated - the rubber on these paddles come off WAY too quickly and easily. You would like to believe that if this item is coupled with such a nice, expensive table that the quality would match. But it does not. I would save your money and buy paddles from a local store in the event you have to return or exchange them.I have not yet contacted the company for a refund or exchange as the paddles themselves still work, but I will if only for the feedback informing the company that their adhesive needs attention!! Poor quality November 13, 2013 Very cheap quality rackets, probably for basic play for beginners and children. Ply and board(handles) almost unpolished with rough edges. Extremely thin sponge, almost no rubber, which is poorly glued. They should not use the term "Performance" that is nothing to do with the skill level of this racket. | 7% Not worth it August 29, 2017 I guess you get what you pay for. They are cheaply made and not worth the money. Spend s little extra and get better paddles too thin February 10, 2016 Children to participate in table tennis extra-curricular interest classes, bought this table tennis racket, but the coach said too thin, not suitable for use, and waste junk February 4, 2016 it's like playing with a piece of wood. I don't know what's up with all these good reviews, if you think these Paddles are good, then .... I got nothing to say bad August 29, 2013 The rubber on the paddles started to come off. I tried to fix it with superglue, and they came off again. I wasn't looking for a pro paddle, just something that would work. These work until they break. I would not purchase them again. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
