I have an older xyron that gets put to good use for a variety of tasks regularly! In my opinion most every household needs one of these! It is great for creating package labels, stickers, decorations, magnets, cold laminating.....and the list goes on! Great multi-use machine.April 4, 2017 I love this thing! For cheaper than the price of one machine I got a sticker maker, laminator and magnet maker. I use it for homeschool projects and memory keeping/ planning. I have yet to use the magnet part but the laminating and sticker making have worked great. The Xyron is easy to operate, easy to change the cartridge (between permanent adhesive, repositionable adhesive and magnetic backing) and does a great job. If you love paper crafting and scrapbooking, this is a real timesaver - much quicker to run the paper through the Xyron than try and attach double sided sticky tape and also far less messy than using glue. I just wish there was a 12" machine to fit full scrapbook pages. | | | | |

Just a couple things you might want to keep in mind for purchase:If you're going to be adding adhesive to small-ish pieces, you'll want to buy the 5-inch adhesive cartridge so you aren't wasting as much material. Not that I have a handle on how this thing works, I think I will only rarely use the 9 inch cartridge, most my stuff is smaller.I am still playing around with it but the way I have been pulling the item away from the adhesive, a little bit gets on the front of whatever Im working with. I've been able to pick off most the spare adhesive but it sort of defeats the point for me. I'll keep playing with it, maybe that goes away as you get more used to the machine. Laminator is not very goodJanuary 8, 2017 Tried this with the laminating and followed the directions for the running so many inces out to get it right with no bubbles, etc. It still left bubbles and looked really tacky. This would be ok for kids stuff that was not important or everyday projects maybe but I do not like the laminator aspect of this "machine".Side note: Not to mention the disposable waste that this thing will generate. The replacement works fine but when you change the rolls, you lose so of the paper to get the roll started. It does replace 2 machines (9" and 5"). Xyron design & engineering missed the mark this time!December 20, 2015 Xyron's product lines are very good. I have been using the ezLaminator model at work for years. The whole idea of applying adhesive, laminate, and even magnet backing is fantastic. Everyone loves it!However this rating is specifically for the Zyron 624632 Creative Station. It is supposed to be the next step up from the previous Creative Station 900 model. The smaller footprint and the ability to use two different sizes of cartridge (9" and 5") are both great ideas. However the actual implementation of this newer model leaves a few things to be desired:- the entire casing and the crank handle (which folds in for storage) feel a little flimsy- the unit is not well "balanced" as you crank it (you have to put one hand on top of the unit to keep it steady while cranking.)- the feed does not appear to engage the item you are trying to feed through (sometimes it would click as the gears slip, especially on magnet laminate cartridge.)- since one hand is required to crank and the other hand to steady the unit, there is no hand left to steady the feed. So your item may get out of alignment and creased. (It happened to me several times and I was mad as heck because my printed paper, though thin, was not inexpensive to print).I hope Xyron engineering is reading this. Please improve it! | | | | |

| Watch out for excess residue.May 1, 2017 I was excited to get this and thought it would be a fantastic problem solver as far as adhesives go. I did an entire project. The result: I didn't like the excess residue left around each picture. It was a book format and this caused the pages to stick together. I bought the adhesive removal eraser and this didn't help at all. I also used it to attach some photos to a canvas and both photos are already coming off. I am very disappointed in the product and would like to return it- unfortunately I did use it. I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it. Two StarsNovember 2, 2016 No comments | | | | |

| One StarJuly 16, 2017 very hard to get the paper thru withoutfalling in the middle of the machine. not impressedJune 26, 2017 This product is terrible. I simply wanted to laminate some pieces of artwork that my daughter made for me. I used to have a laminator at work and it was great so I thinking I would have one at home too. It create wrinkles in the plastic and looks awful. Others seem to love it so perhaps it is human error. Irresponsible shippingDecember 16, 2016 This is terrible I received the equipment totally damaged, no cutter Broke before sample cartridge was even used!December 12, 2015 Product has a tiny thin plastic gear that broke before I even finished the first trial cartridge that came with the machine. I purchased this to replace my first zyron. It was the very first 12" model. It lasted 13 years. Now I'm going to need to fuss with customer service. Sad part is I was right in the middle of the science fair board presentation, and really really needed it. Even the green tab you push to open the machine is cheep, and is nearly broken. | | | | |
