Great I made OVER 300 stickers
January 21, 2017
This is the best thing ever! I went online only to find out that a roll of 200 custom stickers was 49.57 and I was completely devistated because I didn't have that much money to spend. I was searching on the web for cheap sticker rolls and the least I could get was 30.00! Then I found this and decided to order it, I have made OVER 300 stickers for my business in under 20 min! The shipping was FREE and came in 2 days!
BEST BUY EVER
December 30, 2016
No one understands just how much fun this little machine is. I had one as a child and bought another now with all the excitement in the world. If you're on the fence about this one I hope I can push you to love it as much as I do. This tiny cute machine allows you to turn doodles and drawings into beautiful stickers that you can put anywhere! You can even give your stickers to friends as presents! It's so wonderful!! This can also be used for scrap booking and it is VERY easy and useful.
No more warping from glue
March 28, 2016
We did have a bit of trouble with shipping this product initially (it never arrived at our home, we believe it due to our postal carrier) but Amazon customer service was very quick and courteous and re-sent the product which arrived just as quickly as my other orders always have. What a wonderful product! Truly permanent adhesive used, and when turned patiently, professional quality stickers can be produced.I personally use this for making ATCs (artist trading cards), and I can place two 2.5" wide cards next to each other to fit inside the full 5" width of the sticker area.I have noticed that the thinner the paper, the better the waxy paper peels off the sticker. When using thin to heavy chipboard (I use cereal box weight cardboard at times) some of the adhesive can 'mottle' where it's not slowly peeled off, but I have yet for this to cause any bubbles or inferior hold.I'd recommend this to anyone looking to replace glue or double sided tape, especially where water saturation into the paper is a problem (my projects always warped or came apart in the past due to water based glue or inferior glue sticks in an attempt to avoid the warping!).
It is so perfect for making your own stickers
May 22, 2015
For the price, I adore this! It is so perfect for making your own stickers. I've saved so much money!
Can't live without it!
April 5, 2015
If you're in to paper crafting, you need this machine! The permanent adhesive is sticky, the machine always works exactly how I hoped - without fail. Sometimes I do need to retrieve a little extra adhesive that doesn't get picked up in small openings of letters or cutouts, but not a big deal compared to what an absolute pain it would be to glue all that by hand.I was between this 2.5 in machine and the 5 inch, and I'm so glad I got this one. It's bigger than you think it will be, and the refills are almost half the price - don't forget about the consumables because that is the investment that you are committing to make here over and over and over. Plus, it's really my 2.5-inch-and-smaller pieces that are the ones I need help adhering. Once they get bigger, it's no big deal to use craft glue or glue dots.If you do any sort of intricate paper crafting, look no further. Once you've bought it you'll wonder what you ever did without it!

Makes papercrafts so simple & easy!
May 19, 2017
I got into paper crafting this year but found that making cards could be messy with the glues & all so I tried out this creative station by Xyron. It turns larger paper cutouts (up to 4.75" wide) into stickers and it is so easy to use! I recently made a Mother's Day card which was intricately cut & it would have been quite difficult to glue together & this made it a breeze! So easy & it turned out great!I just took the paper lace cutout & rolled it through the machine & out came a sticker. I peeled the front & back away from the sticker & easily mounted it onto the card. Any bits of glue easily rolled off the paper just using my fingertips.
Great little machine
December 10, 2016
I purchased this have an option to making product labels for my business. Although the labels came out excellent with card stock and the machine is amazingly easy to use. My card punch wasnt able to cut through the laminate. I havenumerous projects to keep my creative station busy.
Love the Xyron
September 19, 2016
I love my little xyron. Couldn't do the work I do without it. Well, I could, and I have, like when after 8 or 9 years of steady use my other xyron broke. (I guess you could say I do have one complaint and that's when those little machines break there is no way you can fix it yourself. There is no way to get inside them. But after so many years of use , meh...)I've seen some other comments about being disappointed that the xyron was too small or too this or that, but if you work with in its parameters , don't try to force the cartridges you will have a little work horse for a long time. I suggest you purchase the smallest xyron to accommodate your small pieces rather than run them through this machine. It will cut down on waste and save money on the adhesive. I always I use permanent adhesive and burnish my pieces. My cards come out looking professional, which is a good thing since I sell them. Have fun.
) So I sent it back and got the creative station instead with no hassle and I'm very happy with it
September 16, 2016
I originally bought the create a sticker which was a big mistake as the adhesive sheet snapped the second use with no way to reattach it. (I really thought I could fix it but trust me, don't bother trying to fix it.) So I sent it back and got the creative station instead with no hassle and I'm very happy with it. It's a dream come true! There are videos where they demonstrate how to fix the cartridge if it gets stuck. So far no problems with it though I have only used the adhesive cartridge with it.
Wasted 5X More Adhesive Than I Actually Used (No, Seriously - 5X)
June 16, 2016
I initially gave this product one star (see original review below the solid line). But with the help and suggestion of the seller, I now know what I was doing wrong and I just love this machine now. It does everything I need it to do and way easier than I thought it would. I'm very happy with the Creative Station now and would recommend it to anyone interested in working on small projects like scrapbooking, small product labels, refrigerator magnets, jewelry, dollhouse miniatures, etc._________________________________________________________________________________________________________________I don't write bad reviews often as I like to give the product the benefit of the doubt (maybe I got a bad one, or it's just a minor flaw) but this one purchase I truly regret. I've wasted more adhesive than I've used because the very, very bad design of this machine. You have to "thread' the adhesive through a small slit on the back of the machine where the cutting blade is. It's almost impossible to get the paper with the adhesive on it, through the slit. Once you get it threaded and you go to close the lid, the adhesive paper backs its way out of the slit again due to the pressure from the "tension" roller that pulls on adhesive once you close the lid. In order to get to work, you need to thread at least 3 inches of unused adhesive through the slit to keep it from backing out once you close the lid. Not only do you lose the 3 inches of adhesive, but as soon as you start to crank the handle, it takes approx another 6 inches for your artwork to reach the cutting blade making a total of about 9 inches of adhesive wasted for a 2 inch sticker. Which brings me to the cutting "blade" which functions more like a butter knife. First, the blade doesn't sit far enough off to the side or above the adhesive to prevent it from scraping across the adhesive paper every time the crank is turned. When it's actually time to cut your artwork from the machine, the blade is so dull (or the adhesive paper is too thin) that it bunches up, instead of cuts. I gave up and just started using my scissors to cut the adhesive backing. At least by using scissors I can leave the 3 extra inches hanging from the slit that I'll need for the next image that's inserted into this machine. A really, really bad design and no way to jerry-rig it to make it work better. Don't waste your money, look for something a little more user friendly. The attached photo shows the amount of adhesive I wasted on a two - three inch project.
Great product
May 15, 2016
I love this product. I purchased this to replace the old machine which unfortunately broke after around 10+ years. I love the machine so much that I was happy they still produced them. I had first purchased it scrapbooking but have also used it for putting picture collages together. I have only used the permanent adhesive backing which is perfect for my projects. I also use it to put on the labels for sending packages.

Can be a time saving machine, especially for basic shapes
September 18, 2017
This is a great machine. I didn't need it to be electric and it isn't difficult to use at all. The only issue I have is that it makes a terrible squealing noise when using, it is very loud, and I can't find the source in order to fix it. It is something in the mechanic of turning the handle but there doesn't seem to be a way to try and clean or help that. This works great for making stickers, especially with basic shapes, but it is not great with intricate designs. That is the main reason I bought it, to make it easier than applying glue to small, intricate designs, but I do still use this a ton. If you do use it for intricate cuts, I find it helps to use a pin to kind of pull the adhesive away from the edges.

I really like this! My only complaint is how much waste there is at the beginning of making the sticker. If I try rolling the paper back into the machine more it gets stuck. So I have to keep the paper rolled out to the part where you rip it off. My kids really really like making their own stickers though!

October 22, 2014
I bought this machine to make some stationary by adhering scrapbook paper to cards. It is a great tool! The machine does a great job of coating the whole surface with adhesive evenly. I love that it's so simple to operate; all one has to do is turn a knob. The size is perfect for most projects. My only complaint is that the edges of the paper one passes through the machine have some leftover residue from the adhesive that makes them sticky. Other than that, this machine is great!
Necessary part of my craft room supplies
August 30, 2014
I love this machine. The only thing that bothers me about it is the knob you all replaced on this new version with the handle. The handle was much easier to turn. I get a lot of use out of this with my intricate designs I cut on my Silhouette a Cameo. You can also use it with stencil cuts for glitter designs. Cut your design. Run the bottom piece of your project through this Xyron. Then glue the stenciled design on top. It will leave sticky opening where, the design is that can be sprinkled with glitter. It is a nice technique for this machine. I would not be without this in my craft room.
Perfect for DIY wedding-related things
October 2, 2011
I used this Xyron machine for a little part of a DIY wedding project. For my wedding invitations, I made wraparound address labels myself since I didn't want to hire a calligrapher or just use standard printed addresses on clear labels or anything. Wedding invitations were a while ago, but my labels were something like 1.75 inches x 6 inches or somewhere around there on thicker poundage paper. I researched all sorts of adhesives for something like this - spray glue seemed to messy and lung-damaging, regular glue is messy and sort of shows up through the label, and it would be annoying to use double-sided tape. This was a perfect, cheap machine that rolls in the label and pops it out as a sticker (make sure you get the PERMANENT adhesive cartridges and not the "removable" type for something like address labels). I went through probably 8+ refill cartridges since we had so many invitations and the labels were long, but it was worth it. They stuck on really well and easy to apply as a sticker.Only complaint (hence minus 1 star) - towards the middle to end of the cartridge, it gets squeaky and takes more work to roll it through, but whatever - it's not unmanageable not a deal breaker. I wouldn't have done these any other way.And now that the wedding is over - I'm thinking of giving it to my nieces with some non-permanent adhesive sticker cartridges so they can make stickers of their little drawings and things. This is something that would also be absolutely perfect for scrapbooking.

Great little sticker maker!
June 30, 2016
This machine is definitely a keeper. It's an upgrade from the 1.5 - and I love being able to make multiple stickers across the board. I have not used the magnetic/laminator feature yet, but am excited about being able to do so. I can put in individually cut stickers 3-4 across and love how easy it is to use.
Loved!
June 27, 2016
This machine is pretty fun to use! No instructions, in my package, about how to change cartridges but we figured it out quickly.I still find using printer paper with adhesive a bit better quality but I like having this option for more awkward labels. My issue is there is a bit of waste involved. Cartridges seem to run out pretty quickly.
Easy and affordable sticker maker!
May 18, 2016
I haven't gotten the chance to use this quite as much as I would have liked, but I was able to test it out a few times. It is a great product for the price. I was able to make stickers out of very small graphics to make customized LEGO tiles which are very helpful for my business where I create customized LEGO projects and sell them online. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a simple and affordable sticker maker!
Works well but cartrdige costs will probably add up.
May 8, 2015
Fast and easy but there's a lot of waste with the paper unless you really try to cram a lot of things in. I bought the smaller "X" machine for when I want to do something small so I'm not wasting paper.
I don't like how there is so much waste
February 25, 2015
I needed something to make some letters sticky on the back side. I don't like how there is so much waste. But it does work. Kind of expensive to use. I would have been better off using a glue stick. If you have lots of money and don't mind the cost, then get one, by all means.
ok
March 11, 2014
I chose this rating because if the clear covering when you pull it off it pulls the glue with it but it overlaps the paper and then your sticker is kind of sticky on top. Other than that it is easy to use and I like that a lot. It is kind of hard to judge when you have something in and then you have room to put the next item in and sometimes they windup overlapping. Maybe with more practice I will get it figured out.

I love the size
April 3, 2017
I love the size, but not the adhesive residue it leaves everywhere. The smaller sticker maker has a sheet over the top that you can rub to get all the adhesive away from the stickied item.
a gentle hand and plenty of patience
August 3, 2016
The concept of making your cutouts for scrap booking, card making, etc into stickers so they can be easily applied is a wonderful idea, however, the execution with this machine leaves a bit to be desired. I would love to try Xyron's newest models to see if they've made improvements, but in the meantime, this is what I have (along with the Xyron 150 "X"). First of all, you must be VERY VERY VERY careful not to tear the cellophane or you lose your entire roll of sticker paper. That means, you must slowly feed your item into the machine and turn the knob gently - any amount of force could result in a tear of the cellophane. Once you have fed the item through and successfully managed to avoid tearing the very delicate clear plastic (cellophane), you'll find this tool handy.
It does work pretty well for a small plastic device
January 22, 2016
I bought this sticker machine to make little labels for glass bottles (to label home made vanilla as gifts). It does work pretty well for a small plastic device, and I can see this being a hit with kids. :) However, the sticker tape, while plentiful, is difficult to be efficient with. There is always a huge amount ahead of each sticker, or you end up with overlapping paper without sticker backing. I also found the tape to not stick that well to paper and leave some bald spots and it really didn't stick to glass well. Regular Scotch double sided tape worked a lot better!

June 2, 2015
I originally bought this sticker maker as a treat for myself with intention to sell stickers. It is the perfect size for little circular stickers to give to your friends and to create customized stickers for your personal planner. The 500 does work as it should, but I often find that there are left over adhesive sticking out of my stickers. In addition, when I peel back the sticker, there are sometimes patches where adhesive was not placed. Luckily, the adhesion of the stickers is very strong, and I have no worries of the product "unsticking." I am just a little annoyed that there's random trails of adhesive that sometimes sticks out of my stickers, especially smaller ones. I suspect that it may be just the batch I received in the mail. The weather when I got the product was cold, so maybe it affected the adhesive.I deducted a star off my otherwise 4 star review because I recently experienced the worst jam the other day while I was working with this product and it made me realize how wasteful the Xyron 500 can be. It happened unexpectedly, and it was probably due time to buy another cartridge because of the problems I experienced before. However, I wish that creating stickers didn't product so much waste (you often times create more "backing" then you create sticker) and extra cartridges came in more compact and more eco-friendly sizes.
Does what it says, but not very efficient
January 17, 2015
This is a good product for making small stickers ocassionally. However the technique for pulling stickers out creates a significant amount of waste which I do not recommend for those who make stickers often. While it does create stickers as long as the adhesive, the 1.5" width is a bit limiting. A good item to have for specialized scrapbooking techniques but not much else. Easy to store because of its small size.

Good for Crafts- Not for "Higher Quality" products
July 27, 2015
I bought this product to make some promotional stickers/ magnets to sell at booths with my artwork rather than order them from a distributor. I thought it would be a nice touch to have some "homemade hand drawn" stickers and magnets to give away. This product does make good stickers and some okay magnets, however (as many of the other reviewers have been saying) its very wasteful. It also does not "like" thicker paper (such as construction, bristol, reeves, cotton, etc). Not horrible, but does not produce a flawless "high quality" magnet or sticker. I will say the stickers (laminate & adhesive) came out much better than the magnets. Probably good for other types of crafts- mainly household, hobbie or fun, but not for anything professional.
Bought it for me, gave it to my daughter
January 2, 2013
I was trying to use this machine to make stickers to sell in my Etsy shop. It's to hard to get the stickers lined up just right. But for personal use it works just fine. Just like everything else, the refills are expensive. Haven't tried it for other things like magnets yet.

When this happens I loose a lot of the sticker tape. My sister has one and I have used hers and she has no problem at all. That is why I ordered this one.

October 4, 2016
Very frustrated with this product. I purchased this product to run my lettering through as those are always so hard to glue. Turns out this machine really works well with larger less delicate projects. Not to mention it is very wasteful. I live in a resort town leaving me to have to buy most things on- line or drive an hour to purchase any product at all. If I order the replace cartridge on-line it's @ $19+ s/h & taxes, if I drive the hour to purchase it I will pay @ $39+ tax for it. I'm very frustrated with this product at the moment and not sure I would recommend it.

May 19, 2015
This was not a great purchase. I had to return it because, first, it didn't come with the cutter - how am I supposed to cut some work? through scissors, yes but you will have to pull more and that will be a waste and second, it does not work as advertised, it will some way or the other crumple a few of your projects. I bought the XRN250 from another seller instead and that was the perfect size for me. It was way better. Pls. note that everything is subjective. So, this may or may not work for you.
I'll have to see if it works better with newer adhesive
November 1, 2014
I don't know if it is because I bought mine used or not, but it is really a headache to situate the adhesive in the machine. I'm waiting for the adhesive I have to run out to purchase more. I'll have to see if it works better with newer adhesive.

Alot of waste. I purchased to make stickers out of cut outs of card stock. Whenever I use it, there is a lot of waste. The price of the replacement cartridges are more than I want to spend due to all the waste.
Missing Cutting Blade
June 29, 2013
I like this product overall. However, I received mine with the orange cutting blade plastic slider, but no blade in the slider. I can use scissors to cut the material instead, but it forces me to waste an extra couple of inches of sticker paper/laminate as I have to roll out more in order to cut it with scissors. I can't return the item now because I didn't use it right away (and didn't notice), so I'm a week or so outside of the return window.

Not happy
September 20, 2017
It took me a long time to get around to trying this product because I developed some health issues, and when I finally did, it didn't work at all. As a matter of fact, I thought I had bought it used from someone, because the adhesive roll isn't situated properly in the device, things are stuck together that shouldn't be, and I couldn't get it to work at all. The room it's been kept in is well air-conditioned and there's no reason it should have come out of the box looking like it did and (not) working like it did. If I had gotten to it sooner I could have returned it, but oh well.
TERRIBLE (and minimal) instructions
December 3, 2016
I bought the Xyron because I liked the idea of edge to edge adhesive backing. Still like the idea, but...I can't make it work. The machine came with a cartridge loaded into it. When I fed in my first sheet of paper, it got wrinkled, stuck, and used at least about 2 feet of material for a piece of paper that was 8 inches long. I found NO useful directions. There was a page about "gently feeding" the paper into the machine, nothing about what to do if there was a jam. I wasted most of the pre-loaded cartridge and managed to get a couple of 5x7 sheets of adhesive-backed cardstock. So I tried the extra cartridge that I ordered, following the meager instructions that, again, did not clearly explain how to place the "material" between the rollers. More sticky mess. I have been a paper crafter for many years. Would a more expensive model have been a better choice? SO disappointed! If I could give no stars, I would. This apparatus is useless to me.

The first time I ran card stock through the machine, it worked. The second time, I had to push and pull the paper through the machine. It is too much trouble to return a $20 piece of equipment, so I will continue to push and pull until I get tired of it. It is a lousy machine and I would not recommend it to anyone. This is the second Xyron I have bought and both of them have been lemons. I will never buy another one.
