| Comfortable, bigJune 15, 2017 I've had 2 Logitech G13's and a Razer Chroma in my gaming. Both G13's died within a year, and the Chroma sits in a box up in the closet. Both way overpriced, and not even close to this workhorse. Bought this I don't know how long ago, and it's a tank. Using one right now, but it's keys have half the finish worn off them from Warcraft. But it just keeps rolling on. Comfortable, big, easy to reach keys, and perfect for my use. I need one in the box because everything wears out eventually, so I want to be prepared. And at this price, can't say no. Before you spend your hard earned money on what the leets say you need to use, try this one. It rocks, takes a licking, and keeps on ticking. It is compatible with any game that supports a keyboard. The only issue is that some games do not allow button mapping and this keypad does not have certain commonly used keys such as P, I, and L. | Improved FP PerformanceOctober 3, 2016 I've been wanting to get one of these separate gaming keypads for a long time now and all i can say is I wish I had done it sooner. I was playing a lot of Overwatch at the time and something about the layout had me shifting my keyboard at a 45 degree angle. This allowed me to do that without moving my actual keyboard and I did notice a big shift in my skill level. It was a lot easier to reach all the ability keys I had bound and thus I am able to execute better attack/defense combos.It's easy to install and I have no issues with the build quality with about 40 hours of use so far. Only thing that would made it better is if the back-light was able to change color. I would have preferred red to blue. this thing is super comfortable and easy to useAugust 22, 2016 This was my first time ever using a gaming keypad, so there was a little bit of a learning curve to using this product. Once you get used to where all the keys are, this thing is super comfortable and easy to use. I was able to play World of Warcraft all night without having to give my hand a break. I did notice though, that the number keys seem a bit far away from the movement keys - I found myself having to reach for them more than I would have liked to. When you're in the heat of the moment, reaching for the ability keys can mess up your hand placement on the keypad and ultimately cause some problems. All things considered, though, that's my only negative for it. It's COMFORTABLE, LOOKS NICE, and is DURABLE. 4 out of 5 stars. It's perfect for gaming and because of its size and led lights its perfect for travel as well. the space bars were perfectly placed in a fashionable way to the point where using it felt almost natural. The shift key which, if you play games like overwatch as I do you will know how often the shift key is used for important abilities. the shift key is placed right next to the A key which I was not used to as it usually is below the caps lock key which I could easily use my pinkey finger for but now i would need to keep that finger higher than I'm used to. This was not really a huge problem because all I had to do was get used to it which I have.And if you're wondering how I typed this, I do keep an extra keyboard plugged in to my computer behind this one. The placement of the keys bothered me so much. The shift key is higher on the keypad than a normal keyboard. The V key is almost useless due to being so close to the mode button. The space bar is a tad bit too small to just slap with your thumb. But for the price it works well enough. There a ton of things to like though. It is small enough to make your own little lap board with mouse for those like me who have shoulder pain. The keys lit up well and it is fairly quiet as well. I wish you could do a little test run before buying. Nice idea, but some questions about build qualityFebruary 5, 2016 I bought this to pair with a multi-button mouse for MMORPG games, and chose it mostly because there is no offset between the keys from row to row (in other words, the W key isn't halfway between the A and S keys in the row above it). First, the high points: This is an attractive piece, it sits solid on a desk and doesn't slide around, and the backlighting -- while dim -- is a nice feature. But mine arrived with two keys (the left space bar/trapezoidal button, and the button for the >/. key) failing to fire about 3 times out of 10. That's a grossly unacceptable failure rate for a gaming piece. Fortunately enough, as a right-handed player, this sits at my left hand, and the left space bar isn't reachable anyway. That left me only with one non-functioning button that I have to work around. Other than that, this is a simple device with a simple function, and it executes the plan very well. I was especially impressed with the ergonomics and comfort of this piece. There's a pitch to the keys that allows you to put this device on a desk higher up than a keyboard would sit, and it takes a lot of strain off the wrist when used in such a way. One final note: While the design would suggest this is an ambidextrous device, the SHIFT, CTRL and ALT modifier keys are present only on the left side of the unit, so it would take some remapping before it could be used by a left-hander. Space key is way out of reach so have to use .(period) key in games instead. Also wish it wasn't angled downward or had tilts on the front end as it requires you to have a slanted wrist instead of straight. Tab alt shift are also akwardly sized from a regular keyboard. It's OKAugust 30, 2017 Works OK, but as there are numbers missing, there are times in gaming where I need to reach back and grab my wireless key board to hit numbers 7 through 0. Also, though it has 2 levels of lit keyboard, neither is very bright and don't work well in the dark. I need to keep a light on so I can see where my fingers are after shifting up and down on the keyboard. Could use some type of touch mark on the red keys so you can find the center without looking.As always, they make better ones, but I opted for a lower cost unit. It's worth about what I paid for it. The software - I failed to download it, it is from site in German I was not able to complete the task. If you are German speaker, probably there will be no issues with that though. Second - the location of LShift button is not where it is on the keyboard, which makes it hard to use it. The keyboard is wrong The design layout makes this product unusable for most PC gamers out there.February 24, 2017 Okay, if you are looking at this kind of item then you pretty much understand what it is, what it does, and how it works. The product is made well, but its design makes it almost useless to those that play MMORPGs, MOBAs, or just about any computer game made. Here is why:-Take a look at the WASD keys and the position of the 'Shift' 'Control' keys. *Anyone who has used a traditional keyboard in forever will have trouble accessing the 'shift' key due to it being directly across from the 'A'. Which means that while you are moving left, or strafing left - you will have to bring your pinky finger in horizontal alignment with the rest of your digits, which is just not done. That is why the caps lock key, whois position is taken by the shift key, is a toggle on/off. Any MMO rpg game is out.- I have a big hand, which means I can reach all of the keys but even then the space bar is out of position and if you have normal hands .. .well forget about it .* Lay your hands on your keyboard at the WASD our thumb naturally rests on the '>.' which is above the space bar. During any type of gaming action you will find your self not touching the space bar (jump) that you want but instead hitting the 'B'. '>.', or worse the 'mode' key which turns your WASD keys into direction keys! This will ultimately kill any game you are playing because the WASD keys and directional keys represent different actions entirely.-Since none of these buttons are memory keys and you cannot change the functions of the keys without also changing them on your MAIN KEYBOARD, there is not way to set it up to be functionally useful. The side lying buttons on both the left and right hand side are also misplaced as it is too easy to hit the HOME key, which will throw you out of your game entirely. Try seeing your score in a FPS after going out of your game and to your desktop as your browser takes you to your home screen. arggghh .This is a shame over all as everything is made reasonably well, and feels decent. Ergonomically it is okay as well. But either through a aesthetic desire or some weird Asian setup, this gaming pad will not be useful for gaming PC users. Try anotherFebruary 20, 2017 The keypad isnt bad to play with. Having movement keys plus extra hotkeys is a plus. The parts I dont like is that the caps lock key is removed so the shirt and alt keys are moved up creating a different feel while gaming. The space bar key is a bit further than normal. It takes time to get adjusted to the new layout. remapping other keys may be required as well. I also had a ctrl that needed to be completely pressed to activate. Odd key layout, uncomfortable resting position, and sticky keysApril 26, 2017 I was really looking forward to using this for MOBAs and FPSes, but the key layout is completely unusable for me. The W key is directly above the S key, and the entire row is lined up, unlike a full-size keyboard, where the upper row is offset to the left from the home row. The wrist rest is acceptable, but the position you have to place your thumb in to hit the spacebar is not comfortable. I have large hands (XXXL motorcycle glove), and it still just doesn't work for me. There's also an obnoxious mode switch button that makes it unclear when you're "switched", which has caused a lot of problems when I tap it by accident (too close to the space key), and it changes the entire keyboard layout.
