GOOD QUALITY-- GOOD PRICE
June 25, 2017
I already own a D cell camera (6 battery) Moultrie and got tired of replacing expensive batteries. This AA set up seems to last much longer. The pictures are clear and daytime color is accurate. Nighttime b/w sometimes hazy but lets me know what's out there. The mounting strap is long enough to get around large trees and the bolt hole underneath allows me to mount this to the lid of my deer feeder. I've used this to capture photos of feral cats entering our home to get to our cat's food bowl, as well as a raccoon. I wondered why the food was disappearing and our cat was so skinny.
Initial test was excellent.
October 21, 2016
This is a really impressive camera for the money, it's fast, clear and one of the easiest to program I've ever seen.
Mine captured pictures out to 42 feet in the dark, very faint red glow to the lights, shouldn't spook game.
I ran a initial test just after dark and it looks great, set it in my backyard tonight to capture some deer and whatever else walks by pics.
The real test will be this week, I'm setting it up at a water tank at my deer hunting property tomorrow.

Got this for husband for deer season it takes great pictures we have awesome pictures of bucks and does. We also name pictures of the Bucks fighting. We had lost our salt blocks but after reviewing pictures the raccoons rolled them off. We also got great pictures of squirrels and by Drs along with 2 of the neighbor dogs. Was amazed at the quality of the pictures. Also bought the ad card to go with it. After a few days of taken nag pictures every time we checked at least able ut 1000 photos highly recommend
Great Value
November 29, 2015
Love the value of this camera. Have 4 between my dad and myself. All work great and have now been out through a couple of very heavy rains with no issues. We have a couple of the higher end moultries (880 and 880i) and in many ways we actually like these more because they are so simple and do the job. One note of caution: if you want your night shots to come out you must have a 100% clear line of site between the camera and the game or the image will get blown out.
Awesome camera. Easy to use and setup

Awesome camera. Easy to use and setup. I took this picture last week at my deer feeder. This bear already lowered one barrel of corn before I got smart and wrapped a locking chain around the winch handle. I love the pictures this thing takes.

I really like this Camera.
July 27, 2017
Put this unit outside to monitor our chicken coop for any critter issues. The thing worked flawlessly even after I completely forgot about it. Went out a month later and it had pulled in 500 videos for both day and night, still had full power, and still had plenty of space on the 8GB memory. Looked through the footage and, even though branches had grown to block much of the view, it didn't constantly trigger on the leaves or foliage.

Also used it in the house to catch a feline that decided to start using household spaces as a litter-box. Again, worked flawlessly!
I gave it 5 stars because it worked perfect for what I needed
June 14, 2016
I gave it 5 stars because it worked perfect for what I needed. I was trying to find out what type of critters I was dealing with, digging under my front steps and shed. Just using the default setting (and setting time and date) it caught the stinky little fellow red handed. I also was able to establish a pattern so I was able to find a way keep him out.

It was also cool observing all the wildlife hanging out behind my shed. My wife thought it was a silly idea and a waste of time but once she seen the results she thought it was pretty cool.

I barely scratched the surface of it's capabilities i.e. video and burst mode, but it did what I needed so I'm happy with that.
nice, easy to use!
November 17, 2015
This game camera comes with batteries (8 AA) and a 4GB memory card. It took about 10 minutes to figure out the set-up, clocks, etc... and it was ready to go! It is much easier to use than the other brand we has been using for the last 2 years. We haven't checked it out in the timber ye, but when we download the pics, I will post some. There are several settings available to use.... single photo, burst (several consecutive photos), or video. The first time, we are just using the single photo... every 30 sec there is movement detected. This is a nice, easy to use camera...
more like a two acres
April 8, 2015
For Christmas, my husband wanted a game camera so we could see what was roaming in our "back 40"... more like a two acres. Silly me... I bought an inferior product at a local store which was a lot more expensive.

When he unwrapped the camera, he delicately suggested not opening it and looking at real reviews on Amazon. The locally purchased camera went back and we have loved the quality of this new camera.
Economical,Reliable,Performs! and Recommended
November 10, 2014
I love my Stealth Cam's. I have several other brands and models also that I use but Stealth Cam has really improved this year so I bought another version- The p18. I own high/mid priced cams in the $120- $180 ranges and economical in the $50 - $100 ranges.
It used to really depends on what your comfort or knowledge level with electronics was that would determine what dollar range you bought. If you had the patience to read and figure out how to set a trail camera, you would go with the multi optioned high dollar cams. The higher the dollar the more options the cam had and the HARDER it was to program. That has all changed. Buy away based on what you want the camera to do now. They have made these so dang easy to program. I LOVE IT! Don't get me wrong, I have a good knowledge and have done them enough to program any of these but now they all have quick sets and custom settings to choose from. Pre programmed sets either toggles for my higher G30 model or dial for this one. I use my high end cams for setting where I am pretty sure game is and I want the up most detail on what exactly is there. I use the more economical for scouting areas not sure about BUT i feel confident in using anywhere. It so easy to set and go.
These Stealth Cam have improved quality on these new cams big time. Great day and night pics and battery drain has gone to nothing. What an improvement in battery life. I love the economical version to loan to my buddies also, easy to set up for the new user and the pics are AWESOME! This version does NOT have sound, which is usually the difference in the economical versions. Sound is not a big deal to me in Texas. Has video and stills, burst and all. I would recommend, the $ on Amazon is CRAZY good deal. ALSO.. to Stealth Cam- the Tree Bark graphic on this is AWESOME!!

Great camera for the price
July 1, 2016
I purchased two of these to monitor piece of property I own in the woods as someone was stealing my fire wood. While I haven't caught the person the cameras have been great. The picture quality is as described and the kids love seeing the videos of all the deer that hang out while we aren't there.

My only complaint would be the delay from when motion is detected to when it starts recording. The cameras are positioned facing a road to catch the front license plate of cars that pass by however, by the time it starts recording it only catches the back end of the vehicle. I was able to re-position them to correct the problem but the delay does seem a little long.
Good, with a few flaws
May 15, 2016
I've only had it out in the field two weeks.

Pros:

Cheap as far as game cameras go
Takes nice daytime pictures

Cons:

Night motion is terrible
Delay of 10 seconds is the fastest it will go
It is not waterproof, when I opened the case after two weeks water poured out of the battery compartment

I'm also not sure of the detector quality, but it could be due to lack of deer movement in that area. The date is wrong on the attached picture, but the time is right.
The camera is of a good size, weight and basic features
March 24, 2016
The camera is of a good size, weight and basic features. I bought a '2 pack', one had power problems right out of the box. I called Moultrie and they said I could send to them and they would replace it - nice and all, but I would pay for shipping to them and they never offered and RMA number. How would this be tracked? No idea. Amazon had my back and let me return one of the two, immediately sent me a replacement unit, I immediately sent them the bad one. The replacement unit was fine and seems to work without issue. The model makes me nervous, but time will tell.

Update - One unit has now spent all of March up on the Iron Range in northern Minnesota. It took great pictures and worked as expected. It was rained on, snowed on and all is good so far. Put the second unit up, we will see what shows up next time I make my rounds and change cards.
I read alot of reviews on this product on here and it seems like people don t have the basic camera concept
November 13, 2015
I tell you i have many different cameras. You cant go wrong with moultrie products. I read alot of reviews on this product on here and it seems like people don t have the basic camera concept!! Sure their is many better cams on the market. If your willing to pay $300- $500. The price an quality of the A-5 gen 2 is good. Night time pic, well its a night time pick. Could be better but still gets the job done. This cam takes pic of decent quality holds up to my needs
Excellent camera for the money
May 27, 2015
I can't imagine that you'll find a better trail cam for the money. This camera is sturdy, easy to set up, and reliable. Picture quality could be better, no question, and it doesn't have the greatest range or angle of capture, so it's best used in areas where you've got a good idea of activity (or as a feeder camera). This is still a tremendously good value, however.

Great camera for price
February 25, 2016
Great camera for capturing high quality pictures of deer and smaller animals. Night shots are very clear. Only con is that it is a bit tricky to get set up the first time but once set it is easy to use. Holds up to 32 GB card and have never came close to filling it up. Highly recommend this camera.
It is my first go at something like this so I went in kind of blind
January 29, 2016
worth the money. I bought this to catch some night visitors of nature in my yard. It is my first go at something like this so I went in kind of blind. It seems that the subjects have to be closer than I expected so my keepers are a small percentage of the shots taken. It is pretty simple to use, I like that. If I knew more I may have given this 3 stars but I have nothing to compare to so that would have been unfair. Future buyers don't use me as a reference point but do your homework
Image quality is fine for most purposes
November 29, 2015
Works very well for the price. Records in darkness or light. Image quality is fine for most purposes. Can read or copy from SD card (included) or plug in USB cable (not included but the one from my GPS works just fine). Only issue is the trigger time when something comes into view. I've been testing with stray animals in my yard and never has it shown one entering frame. They magically just show up in the middle of the frame. In the near future, I plan to do some distance checks to see where/when it activates best. I would purchase another as it's easy to use and a good deal for the price.
Great value camera
August 17, 2015
Great value camera. Daytime photos look great, and the nighttime photos are clear and not as blurry as most IR flashes. Battery life is great as well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it's probably the most difficult camera I've ever seen to set-up, but it's great after you figure it out.

functioal but has a serious flaw
June 11, 2017
Still working well letting us know which pug is peeing on the wall but havin a large card in it for long periods means theres lots of pictures to sort through. Although the watermark timestamp on the pictures is correct the file creation date is always random regardless of the accuracy of the bios clock which makes organizing by date pointless. I contacted the manufacturer and was informed that this is known and nothing is being done about it. I won' be buying another..
Affordable option, not bad, could be better.
December 3, 2016
I purchased this camera to replace an older Moultrie D55 refurb I had purchased in 2013 that was starting to show some age. There are pros and cons to each of the cameras, over all, I am a little disappointed by this newer model. Perhaps the older model was a higher class camera, but it outperforms the A-5 in image quality.

The older Moultrie D55 has higher quality images, a temperature sensor, and what I consider a better user interface on the camera. The camera card is harder to insert and remove however. There are no other ways to mount the D55 other than wrapping it around a tree. Also, the video mode didn't seem to work too well, and it seemed like the sensor was weaker in video mode (didn't capture anything for months, but then captured many photos once I changed it off video). The image quality at night is very sharp, and very little graininess.

The newer A-5 camera is easy to set up the picture options, but I can't tell how many photos are remaining, or have been taken, or what the battery life currently is as easily as the older Moultrie. The image quality at night is much lower. Almost all photos come out very grainy and always blurry. I love the tripod mount on the bottom, I was able to drive a metal rod into the ground and use a cheap go-pro adapter to mount this camera at a height around 3 feet. Very slick (a chipmunk is using it as his lookout post). Despite the fact that I have set the time and date multiple times, and the pictures record the current date and time, the dates on the files as they are stored on the card are off by 1 year, 3 months, 22 days, 1 hour and 2 minutes. Not a big deal, as they are still chronological on the card, you just can't look for a picture on a certain date by looking at the file dates, you need to open the pictures up and look at the date stamped on the image. Odd indeed. The A-5 sensor seems to be much more sensitive than the older D55. This is good and bad. It has picked up birds in flight, but it also picks up trees blowing in the wind 50 feet away.

Over all, its a pretty good camera for the price. A little disappointed the image quality is lower, and the file date issue is a nuisance. I love the tripod mount option (in addition to the strap).
Night photo quality disappoints.
June 20, 2016
Looking at photos by other reviewers it appears the night photo quality varies quite a bit from camera to camera. Others had pics that were crystal clear and some appeared fuzzy or washed out by the night vision lighting. Daytime photo quality is okay but mine is one with the fuzzy night vision lighting.

Two more negatives are:
1. The overall size of this camera is quite large,
2. It doesn't give an indication on the LCD screen if there are pictures on the card and how many. A friend of mine has a game cam from a different manufacturer and you can see the LCD without opening it and it displays a picture count.

For the positives, the daytime pictures are okay (it's no Nikon D90) and the camera itself is relatively inexpensive.
Very limited
April 28, 2016
For $50.00 it's hard to go wrong as long as it works but it definitely has it limitations. It won't do well what I bought it for. I wanted to know what critters I had visiting my water dish at night. During the day I see lots of birds, rabbits and the occasional coyote but I suspect there is more at night (in variety, not quantity). Also I have mystery burrows I never see used that are too big for the ground squirrels.

After two nights of testing I have discovered two things that I don't like about this entry level camera. The night pictures are very low quality due to lack of light as well as a low resolution camera. The pictures are not so bad you can't identify the subject but definitely nothing you'd want to save. The real problem is the motion detector. It's very erratic. It's slow to detect motion to the point that your subject may already be off screen or might not detect at all. The first morning I brought the camera in right after two quail had gotten their morning drink but neither tripped the detector so no picture at all. I got a fuzzy picture of a jackrabbits rump in the first of three series but the second and third had no critter. Testing with myself as the subject I got fair results if I was walking towards or away from the camera with the lights on but if I walked across the cameras view or turned the lights out the results were marginal.

I think this camera would be fine for large game, especially during the day, but for small animals at night or for personal property security you will be disappointed. I suggest spending more money. Somebody could steal a thousand dollars worth of your stuff and this $50.00 camera wouldn't help you catch or identify them unless they stopped to pose but then they'd take camera too since it's not designed for a permanent mount

Pros: Set Up is relatively easy. Use is easier. Set a couple of variables, turn it on and walk away.
Cons:" No memory card. No batteries. No way to look at your pictures. There is no display and the cable you need to download to a computer is not included. I understand not including the batteries but not including at least a 4 gig card and the patch cable is just stupid, especially when they don't mention the cable in the sales lit. You can pull the card and slip it into something that can read it but that excludes everything but a desktop with card readers or another digital camera. The cable and anything with a USB port is much simpler.

May 5, 2015
Takes great, clear pictures but the range is no where near 40 ft. Its more like 10 ft. I wasn't getting the pictures I expected so I tested it (a couple of times) and walked towards it. It did not take any pictures until I was within 10 ft. of it. I'm returning it and looking for a different one.

and it's worked pretty well for the first 10-11 months
May 15, 2017
I've had this for roughly a year now, and it's worked pretty well for the first 10-11 months. I've kept it near the house capturing critters such as skunks, armadillo, owls, our puppies and the occasional family member. Lately, I've had it both tree and tripod mounted, pointing squarely at the flower bed - turned archaeological dig by morning. Excited and convinced I'm about to learn who the nocturnal grub snatcher is, I slip into my shoes, race out to the camera, grab the memory stick, slap it in the PC with the haste of a kid on Christmas morning. Only to find a picture of... my shirt.
Good device, bad service
May 4, 2017
Item was shipped quickly HOWEVER the supplied and paid for Duracell AA batteries-- with a use -by -date of 2025 were dead on arrival.
A call to customer service of Stealthcam at 1-877-269-8490 just got me the usual " we are sorry etc" script. Nobody wanted to provide serviceable replacement batteries. One of the advertised plus points for this device is the inclusion of batteries, I guess they did not say that the batteries would actually work, Downgraded because of customer support .
not dependable.
September 16, 2016
I have gone through a number of hunting cams in the hope that I can find one that is affordable and yet dependable. Stealth Cam did not hold up to those hopes. It has taken some nice images in the 10 sec vid mode yet it failed to keep its date and time for the images. Later after resetting the date and time it still didn't remain accurate. I have also seen some deer from my window that passed right in front of the cam and it was not recorded. Not what you want to have going on.

August 5, 2016
When it does pick up something the picture is usually pretty good but it doesn't seem to be triggering when it should. It didn't capture video/image when I knew animals had been in the range that night. Going to try some addition locations.

P.S. I'm not a hunter, just wanted to catch local wildlife on camera.
look into a better features in other brands with higher MP's
October 12, 2015
For a few $$ more, look into a better features in other brands. Image quality is OK but not what I expected. It does work but have seen better quality images in others for relatively the same monies paid. I'd give it nudge more if 1/2 stars were allowed.

UPDATED [2] Years later....If purchasing, please remember you are getting a 7mp camera.. Images are and will not be crisp in the night images nor will give you readable pics at more than 25 feet at dusk. BUT, will provide you decent images at HI" if using on trail where close activities are utilized by game.

February 6, 2017
This camera, The moulturd A-4 is lacking.
This is very unreliable camera, if you taped it to a game feeder you might see some game.
For the money.. the two best field camera products I have ever deployed are....
Scoutguard and Cuddeback.
However my most recent Cuddeback purchase has left me very disgruntled.
They do not make them like they used to. Chinese now I am sure.
Its a leaky piece of crap that will probably not make it through the season.
Anyway don't buy this moulturd!
sorry for the punctuation, buzzed and disappointed:(

Over the years I have purchased many different brands of field cameras.
This might be at the bottom of the barrel, Hard to say for sure as I have been through so many.
Intermittently worked, now doesn't work at all. Nice features
November 28, 2016
The unit takes nice pictures and had nice options for the price. But I noticed after a couple months that it would quit working. I would take it inside for the day, take out the batteries, put them back in, and then it would work. Lately it developed a fog over the top left part of the camera lens. There is also a fog in some of the infrared bulbs.

Yesterday it quit working. So I brought it inside. But it is not working today either. SO I think that whatever was causing it to occasionally fail has killed it.
Not Moultrie's Best
May 8, 2016
Moultrie makes a great camera but this one has to be tied to something to stand up. We have big trees that have ants and poison ivy so I don't have an easy place to tie it. I also don't like the way the set up is done and it is not clear when you are erasing the disk. I have since bought another Moultrie, the 999i mini and that one is perfect. It sits up but is light weight and easy to figure out. I also loved the old 65 which was definitely heavy but for my purpose - watching the deer where I feed them - pets it sat on top of a stump or box just right. It had a weak switch connection though and fizzled out after a while.
Generation 2 is not supposed to be worse than Generation 1
January 3, 2016
I've had a Generation 1 out since August with no problems whatsoever and still on the original batteries. I bought a Generation 2 and have had issues with it from Day 1. The camera just went 5 days without taking one pic and has repeatedly failed to take pics while I'm walking up to it. On multiple occasions it took pics for 2 days after I fed then stopped taking pics once the deer starting coming to the feed again. I killed a nice 9 point that it failed to take pics of the 2nd time it came out after getting pics the first time. I also repeatedly get late pics that only show half the deer...........the half without a head..................which is also useless.

Additionally, it blows my mind the neither camera has a cover over the battery compartment. It hasn't been a problem with Gen 1 other than moisture getting in but the batteries will fall out when you open the Gen 2 if you're not careful. How much would that cover really cost? 15 cents?
Disappointed
November 10, 2015
I am pretty disappointed with this camera so far. First off the cheap plastic mounting strap buckled broke when I went to mount it. I have an older model moultrie and it is a way better design then this one. I had to go through 4 working sd cards before I found one that would not show "card full" even though they had nothing on them. The picture quality is poor along with the range of the motion sensor. Over all this is a very poor example of a moultrie product and I'd never buy another one of these.

Only reason 2 stars is picture quality is good. The motion detection however is crummy
September 29, 2016
Doesn't capture enough, lawn gets torn up all the time, this never get pics of the critters doing it. I don't know if they are too small (Armadillos) or if they just move too slow, but camera pointed right at effected area and doesn't capture anything. Was reviewing pics and all of a sudden there was a strangers face, but no pics of the guy driving down my driveway, very strange.

Only reason 2 stars is picture quality is good. The motion detection however is crummy.
Very low sensitivity on the motion sensor
February 7, 2016
Very low sensitivity on the motion sensor. Only triggers to take pictures when the target object is within 20 feet or so. Very disappointing.
Pure Junk!
November 8, 2015
Terrible buy! The camera does not detect movement unless the subject is very close, like 6 to 8 feet, from the camera. And then the object has to be large, like an ATV or such. The field of view is small also, like 10 feet square at a distance of ten feet..
Don't buy this piece of junk! If you do, throw it away and get a better one, but keep the batteries, chip and mounting strap. They work.
... someone that reviews an item unless they are exceptionally good or bad
October 31, 2015
I am normally not someone that reviews an item unless they are exceptionally good or bad. In my opinion, this item is bad. I have had this out in several different locations including fence rows, in the woods and in/around my home. Pictures are very low quality in both day and night. I am comparing this to low end Moultrie and Wildgame cameras that I own. Considering I paid $55 for a 2mp Wildgame that takes much better photos, I am not happy about this camera costing more and having lower quality photos. They are very blurry, especially when animals are moving. I will continue to adjust the settings and play around with it, but I would not recommend buying this particular model.

If you enjoy getting footage and photos back like I do, please pay a little more and get yourself a good trail camera. You know the time invested into setting these up and waiting for results. Getting them back with bad pictures is just disappointing.
NOT THE SAME Trailcam QUALITY OR detection range as past duplicate cameras.
September 18, 2015
This was the 3rd one I have bought in the past 2 years...BUT..this camera does not perform anywhere close to the quality of the previous 2.
The night pictures are much more blurry and the daytime detection is very poor. It is as if they put the Poor P12 or 14 inside this one but sold as a P!*... Call me very dissappointed. !!!!

I just learned there is only a 30 day return policy..I thought the goods were warranted for the full 12 months. This may be the last camera I buy thru AMAZON. Sportsmans Guide warrants for the full year allowing returns and credit toward other items.

I've purchased 13 individual Moultrie products, and 7 of the 13 have failed within the warranty period. That is over 50%! On the positive side, the customer service I've received from Moultrie has been wonderful. Last year, after expressing my concerns about their lack of quality, they actually sent me a brand new camera. No return. No warranty. Just a new camera. That's service and a great way to try to retain a customer. With that said, I'm finally having to turn my back on Moultrie. I've got an A5 and the wireless modem both not functioning and boxed up ready to ship back to Moultrie. When I get the replacements, I'll probably just sell all my Moultrie products Craigslist. Will spend the extra money and get a Stealthcam next time

October 21, 2016
I've had notihng but problems with setting this camera up to take pictures. As was written by someone else, this camera's range is nowhere close to 40' and as the other person's review sated, this camera has only a range of about 10'. Very, very disappointed especially when you are in the hunting season and find out the camera you purchased and attempted to use doesn't perform to the manufactures specifications. Moultrie's customer service gave me some suggestions which didn't work either and suggested I sent the unit back. I tried at least a dozen times to set this up and it still would only take photos in the 10' range. Also the camera liked to take pictures of just the woods without and animals in any of the photo.
Not working properly.
July 11, 2016
In the evening, I set up a dead squirrel as bait 12-15 feet in front of the camera. In the morning I went out to check and the squirrel was gone. I took the card out of the camera and took it in to view on my computer to see what animal had taken the squirrel and the only picture on the card was of me walking up to the camera that morning. Prior to this, I had it set up on my deck (above a walkout basement so about 12 feet off the ground) to see what critter was messing with bird feeders and tipping over plants, etc. I had it pointed at the stairs but about 25 feet away. I did get one picture of a raccoon - a closeup of about 3 feet away but nothing of it coming up the stairs and approaching the camera. I thought maybe it didn't use the stairs and climbed up one of the deck support legs from behind the camera. That was the only thing that made sense to me but didn't seem that plausible that the raccoon would shinny up a 12 foot 6x8 post as opposed to taking the stairs. Now that I know the camera isn't taking pictures when it should, i.e., the squirrel test, that explains why it didn't take pictures of the raccoon coming up the stairs. I am returning the camera to Amazon and will try another brand.

UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they suggested I use a slower speed SDHC card. I was using a class 10 card (which they said was too fast for the camera) so I tried a class 6 card and still had problems. I had to return it to the seller (not Amazon directly) and it is taking a bit longer. They said when they receive it back they will issue me a refund. Hoping for the best and will update if there is an issue with the return.
Water Logged Junk!!!!
November 28, 2015
I bought two of these after reading the reviews. One unit is still working the other unit failed in less than 30 days. The seal failed causing the unit to fill with water and not function. I have been trying to find one of these units that will last more than a single season and will have to keep looking this one was a complete waist of money!!!!!! Do not buy this brand!!!
I have another one that was bought locally that works great. Trying to save time backfired on this purchase

Put batteries in and left out for three days. Took it back and couldn't even get it to turn on. It's going back. I have another one that was bought locally that works great. Trying to save time backfired on this purchase.

this game camera worked good for about a year. It now stopped and won't register anything. new batteries and card and nothing. do not recommend to anyone.!!!!!!!!!! have a primos for 4 1/2 years and still works fine for 59.99
Note: contacted stealth cam and was told 1 year warranty period. Too bad ....poor customer service
Too complicated for custom set up
June 6, 2016
This camera is way to hard to program in the custom mode, I have a Primos game camera and there is no comparison in how easy they are to set up. First of all most of the custom options are not readable as depicted, I could only figure out what they stood for by viewing the training video. Too many steps for custom and could be much simpler. I have wasted too much time and suggest that the manufacture design something that is intuitive so you don't need to watch a video several times to custom program the device. I am buying another camera today and it will NOT be a stealth product.
Five Stars

Takes great pictures, now I need to figure out how to get the clock set. Not water proof. My first camera leaked when it rained ,sent it back and the second one did as well. Not too happy with stealth products at this point !!!!

Junk. It worked for less than one day. It took horrible pictures and now it just flashes 88888 and wont respond to anything
motion sensor not picking up enough movement

I had the opposite experience of a lot of people who left one star, and said it took pictures of the wind blowing vegetation. I basically had to wave my hand in front of it for it to take a picture consistently. I used it once in front of a can of meat i set out overnight to lure in animals, meat was gone and no pictures were taken. Took it back inside and used test mode more extensively (first time i just walked back and forth in front of it) and found that it would pick up my border collie maybe half the time at 10 feet, at the perfect angle. My chihuahua had to walk right up to the camera to set it off. Ive used cameras in the $60 range that were much better. Sending this one back
