September 18, 2017
I have been using this camera for over a year now and I still love it. I take it camping with us so I can scare the wife with pictures of the critters that walk through our camp at night. No bears yet, just mostly deer, raccoons, bobcats, and coyotes. It's fun! The camera takes great pictures at night and in the day. Even shoots video at night. I captured some great night video of a pack of coyotes all sniffing, urinating, snarling, and communicating with each other one time. I thought it was cool, but the wife didn't. On that note, I highly recommend this wildlife camera!
I probably average 50+ pictures a week and the clarity is great, trigger speed is fast
January 16, 2017
This camera is outstanding and well worth your money. I have owned numerous brands of trail cameras over many years. I usually drop the big dollars and go for the most modern features and do a lot of research before buying. I tried these Browning cameras about a year ago for the first time. I bought 2 of them, and will continue to buy more. After a year, the batteries have finally died for the first time and I replaced them today. These cameras sit out all year and take a beating. I have never had missed shots, sun glare, foggy lens, or anything, I probably average 50+ pictures a week and the clarity is great, trigger speed is fast, and blackout night pictures are very good. These must be sealed real well too, cause I don't get nearly the amount of ants in these as some of my previous cameras. These cameras have performed better than cameras that I have paid a lot more for. Hopefully they will last for many more years.
Great Product.

Great item, easy instructions / set up, quality photos and video. Humiliated the Dog walker who used my beautifully manicured lawn to walk his dogs. Bought a page in the local Penny Saver and published a photo with him and his dogs adding to my landscape. This scenario caught on in this county, now EVERYBODY has a poop bag

April 8, 2016
We have a handful of trail cameras and this browning strikeforce is definitely the best. I love the camo pattern because we hunt on the east side of the state. Very realistic looking against a tree, also very light weight. This browning strikeforce Camerahas the best picture out of all of my cameras day or night! None of my pictures have turned out pixelated even when I have zoom them in after I had gotten the picture to a computer or laptop (very printable quality) when you open up this browning strikeforce camera you will notice the settings on the inside they're all pretty basic income with a very descriptive instruction manual . We have our set to every 30 seconds to take a picture which on your laptop or computer you can set to have that turn into a time lapse, We were very satisfied that this camera does not eat your batteries.. This being the top camera that we own I would definitely recommend this! We use this camera every hunting season to look for deer and elk. We have also used it around our house just to see what our cats do.. I hope this review helps, this truly is a great product
Highest Ranked Trail Cam on the Market for 2014 (Still Going Strong in 2016)
December 9, 2014
UPDATE 2/5/16 - I wanted to update this review, since my issue mentioned later in my original review has been has been completely resolved. Although the battery issue, described later in the review, was actually with my similar Browning Dark Ops model, Browning's superb customer service will apply to either model. I mailed my camera to Browning Trail Camera's service center. Incidentally, I was happy to see that their service center is in Tennessee. Even though my camera was technically past the one year warranty date by almost two months, they immediately sent me back a brand new (still in the packaging) Dark Ops. I had a brand new camera within two weeks of mailing it them. I guess since I contacted them and explained the issue had started months before (but took a while to ensure it was the camera and not bad batteries), they fully warrantied the camera. It is very refreshing to deal with a company that stands behind their product. Browning is two for two in my experiences with their customer service. I am incredibly pleased. They have ensured they have a loyal customer in me. I have no reservations recommending either the Strike Force or the Dark Ops models.

ORIGINAL REVIEW - I did quite a bit of research, including internet and speaking with experienced trail cam users, and this was by far the most highly recommended trail cam on the market. The Strike Force has essentially changed the market and price points for trail cams, as when Browning debuted this trail cam it had features available only in the $300 price point range. The trail cam website test reviews I researched all had this camera ranked top five for overall performance, and at the top of the value for the $$ rankings. My biggest decision came down to deciding between the Strike Force, and the comparable Browning Dark Ops. (Note - for those debating the same quandary, I have recently purchased the Dark Ops model as well, and a comparison is discussed later in this review).
Pro's
1. Terrific Daytime Picture quality - actually captured a Bobcat on the run with incredible clarity.
2. Fairly good IR flash range - Works well even in fairly thick timber
3. Good Night Quality - Black & White night photos but the IR flash often highlights antler details
4. Great Versatility & Options - The burst mode and timing adjustability are very handy
5. Lightning fast trigger speed - one of the best on the market
6. Great Detection Range
7. Display for Battery Life & Remaining Photo Memory (Battery Life indicator does not work well with Li Batteries)
8. Good Video Quality
9. Great Battery Efficiency (begins to use more battery power over time - see comments regarding Dark Ops model below)
10. Connection Port - Camera can be utilized as SD card reader by connecting USB cable (not included) to PC or TV.
11. Really easy to use. Simple menu options.
12. Responsive Customer Service (see comments regarding latch below)

Con's (Not many, but if had to think of some...)
1. Cheap plastic latch breaks easily. (Update - I emailed the customer service address on the Browning Trail Cam website, and they immediately sent me two replacement latches.)
2. Motion Range is slightly wider than Camera view, so with a fast trigger speed you get some photos taken prior to the animal coming into frame. This really is not a problem for use over a feeder or mineral lick, as you might just get a couple of extra blank photos just before the animal comes into frame. For use on a travel trail, this might be more of a concern, and you will probably want to set up in burst mode to ensure you get a photo while the animal is in frame.
3. IR Flash is visible - This is not necessarily a con, unless you plan to utilize for security purposes or if the cam is located in an area where potential thieves may notice the flash and attempt to steal the camera. (If either of the above mentioned are an issue, the Browning Dark Ops model has a black flash which is not visible).
4. No Field Viewer - There is no viewer to preview photos in the field, or to check alignment (although for alignment purposes it does have a test mode which flashes as the camera detects motion within the detection area).
5. USB cable is not included (digital camera connection on one end, USB connection to PC)

Update 3/1/2015 Strike Force versus Dark Ops Comparison
As promised, I am updating this review based on my experiences with the comparable Browning Dark Ops (Dark IR model). The Dark Ops has proven to be just as reliable as the Strike Force with the same easy to use features, and good battery efficiency. The night photos taken by the Dark Ops are necessarily somewhat darker with the dark IR flash, so the clarity level is slightly affected. Still the range for night photos for the Dark Ops, although slightly less than Strike Force, has been fairly impressive just the same. I have been able to positively identify specific bucks in night photos taken in medium density timber at ranges of at least 40 feet. The daytime clarity is terrific, and is virtually identical for both cameras. Now that the price point for the Dark Ops has fallen down to match the Strike Force, I would tend toward recommending that model due to the additional flexibility offered by dark flash technology (i.e. it can be used for security purposes and is less likely to be noticed by potential passers-by on hunting properties). Either way, you really can't go wrong with either camera. As an aside, I tend to capture more nighttime photos of both Coyotes and Bobcats with the Dark Ops model, so if you intend to use for predator scouting I would go for the dark IR flash model. Deer do not seem to be spooked by the visible IR flash, but predators do seem to spook, and I have video on the Strike Force of Coyotes turning and running as soon as the light comes on.

Further update, I also have my first complaint about the Strike Force camera. The plastic latch on the Strike Force that seals the control buttons and protects the SD card slot from moisture snapped in half recently, while I was retrieving the SD card. (The Dark Ops model has an identical cheap plastic latch). I believe some other commenters have also complained about this same issue. It is certainly not enough of an issue to deter my purchase of another Browning once the need for another camera arises, but I certainly hope the manufacturer looks to correct this issue on future models. I advise users to be very careful when snapping the latch back closed, as it will shatter under a very modest amount of pressure. Update - I emailed the Browning Trail Camera customer service department and they immediately sent two replacement latches (so I now have a back up in case it happens again). The latch is extremely simple to replace, so in the end no harm, no foul.

Dark Ops Update 1/11/16 - After approximately 8 months of use, my Dark Ops camera suddenly started severely declining in batter efficiency. It is only getting two weeks out of Li batteries using settings that would last for 2 months when the camera was new. I am now using rechargeable NiCad batteries and switching the batteries out every time I check the SD card (every 10-14 days). I have seen some slight decline in battery efficiency from the Strike Force, but nothing I would complain about. I am not sure if this issue is specific to a problem with my Dark ops camera, or whether this an appropriate contrast between the Dark Ops & Strike Force models. I will be contacting the manufacturer, and will update this review with a any relevant response.

Tips
Here are few tips for new users that I have picked up from my experience with this trail cam:
1. Use Lithium batteries. Update 1/11/16 - I now recommend rechargeable NiCad batteries, unless you plan to leave the camera for extremely long intervals. During the first few months use, the camera was very efficient and Li worked great. As the camera gets older, Li becomes cost prohibitive. Li does last longer overall, but the NiCad will last a couple of weeks (or more) on trail cam mode, and obviously they are much more economical.
2. Purchase two SD cards - that way you can quickly change out the card to go check the site activity without having to spend too much time in the area or having to return to disturb the area later to replace the card (and possibly missing activity in the interim). Unless you set burst mode and timing settings extremely liberally, an 8 GB card is plenty for checking most trail cam sites on 10 - 20 day intervals. I have a couple of 16GB SD cards, but even in video mode, 16 GB is pretty much overkill with correct delay settings.
3. Use a lock or security box. I use a Master Lock Python cable (bolt cutters can cut through a Python lock but at least it prevents theft by the typical trespassing poacher). When setting up the camera, the Python cable is not required to secure to a tree, as a strap is included with the camera. The Python cable can be a bit aggravating, though, as the key mechanism can be persnickety and the keys will easily break off in the lock.
4. Keep in mind the height range for the intended target when securing the camera, as a trail cam set at five foot from the ground is not going to catch many deer or turkeys, but a camera set too low will probably catch more squirrels that you want to see. I recommend a height of approximately 30 inches for deer (depending on the topography), and possibly slightly lower for turkeys. If you want photos of raccoons for some reason, don't worry about camera height because those curious little boogers will give you some extreme close ups as they try to figure out where that light is coming from.
5. Settings - If you plan to set the camera up over an area that the animals may tend to linger, you probably want to minimize the burst mode to two photos (or don't use burst mode at all), and keep the delay duration at five minutes (or greater). On one occasion, I set the burst on 3 photos, with a one minute delay, and ended up with 2,000 photos in a week - which does pretty much guarantee you will have good shots of every animal that walked through, but makes for a long sorting process when trying to establish patterns. A two photo burst will capture most targets that were essentially just quickly walking by, and a five minute delay is pretty good timing for deer, which tend linger for a maximum of about twenty minutes in any single interval. I found the same settings work fairly well for wild turkeys, also, even though flocks tend to linger longer than deer will. For some reason, the camera is triggered more easily by mammals such as deer, raccoons, coyotes, dogs, and humans; than it is by wild turkeys. Most initial phots of mammals occur while the subject is barely in the frame, but many times a large portion of the turkey flock will already be in frame and fairly close to the camera when the initial photo is triggered. Predators like coyotes and (especially) bobcats are a bit trickier, and burst settings are helpful to ensure travelling subjects are captured in view.

As an aside, there are several new web-based software applications coming on the market to help trail cam users garner useful pattern info from their trail cams. These applications allow users to select trail cam locations using GPS & aerial satellite photos, and upload photos from each cam site. The application then downloads local weather data for each site, and matches the photo time stamps with local weather conditions. Specific animals can be tagged by photo. This allows the application to utilize predictive algorithms to pattern a deer's movements and predict your most likely areas for success based on predicted or current weather (and moon phase) conditions. I have long complained about the significant gap between the information trail cams provide, and a simple way to fully utilize that information to determine the end means for most users (patternable deer movements). Hopefully, some of the trail cam manufacturers will key in on these new applications and begin to include this type of software with their cameras.
Browning set the Buckmark (er, benchmark)
May 9, 2014
I've had this camera for about two months now and have been quite impressed with its performance. I put it up at the same spot as a Primos Ultra 35, and the Strike Force blew it away with much sharper pictures, far better flash, and better detection range. In case you wondered, the Primos actually cost more than the Strike Force when it was purchased.
The pictures on this camera are excellent. I only have the Primos to compare it to, but the 10 Megapixels show. It triggers fine out past 40 feet. The flash is definitely impressive. There is definitely enough light to see deer well at 50+ feet. This does have the consequence of whiting out deer that are less than 10 feet from the camera, but their outline is still very obvious. (It would be nice if the light was even, but I'm certainly willing to put up with the white out effect rather than trying to figure out how to hook up several remote flashes.)
The detection circuit works reasonably well. There are relatively few empty shots (last time I checked the camera, all 50 pictures were of deer). It does detect right to the edge of the field of view, because I got a picture of just a deer's head as it walked in about 25 feet away.
Battery life seems to be quite good, even if it does take just six AAs. I swapped my Eneloops after a month and 127 pictures, and when I recharged them, found that they still had over 85% capacity. (The Strike Force does have a built-in battery charge level indicator, but it is calibrated for 1.5V cells rather than 1.2V of the Eneloop NIMH cells.)
The camera does flash a small red light when it takes a picture at night, and apparently deer see it (or hear something in the camera) because I have several pictures of deer looking right at the camera. However, I've gotten multiple shots of the same deer that looked at the camera from less than 15 feet away, so it doesn't seem to bother them. (I also have a Dark Ops, which is virtually the same camera with black flash [completely undetectable], but its flash range is not as good as the Strike Force, and I think I like the Strike Force bettter.)
I wanted a very compact camera, and this is it. Setup is done via a small LCD screen and buttons, but it works quite well. Other cameras with slider switches, more buttons, etc. are easier to set up, but they are also larger.
Browning has delivered a terrific product at a very reasonable price. I have not seen any other camera that will beat a Browning in performance per dollar. If you are looking for a trail camera that takes great pictures, night and day, has trigger response and recovery times beaten only by cameras at 3x the price, has a reliable detection circuit, reasonable battery life, is very compact, and is also affordable, you've found it. This has got to be one of the best values on the market currently. Unless somebody one-ups Browning in a hurry, my next camera will be a Browning, likely a Strike Force.

Bought 1 for myself to mount in a tree. Loved it so much I replaced another brand I used to mount 1 to my house and then another for my dad. We're using game cameras as an alternative to security camera's. This mount is as steady as a rock and easily adjustable.

This was a great product and I couldn't imagine using the trail camera without this mount. You can put the camera in so many different positions in which you otherwise would not without this. Especially if you need to affix the camera to a specific tree that is not a perfect fit. With this mount any tree works like a charm.
Well made mount
June 21, 2016
Very well made, holds my camera nice and tight. The clamps are made of metal, and some of the other brands have plastic clamps. Very happy with purchase.
Love this camera mount.
January 8, 2016
Will get one for my other three cameras. Very easy to attach to a tree. I love that it uses straps to attach to the tree and not a screw in. I have four different brands of cameras and they all fit the mount. No matter what angle the tree is you can point the camera in any direction.

Works as described I have it mounted to my Browning Spec Ops HD. Like the fact once you mount it to a tree you can pivot cam left or right and up or down to adjust trail cam the way you like it. Also has a place to put a cable lock on it.

Great little unit..
March 11, 2017
Gift for my husband. He loves it. It is a nice compact size, the batteries last so long compared to an older Moultree we have.. probably because there is no flash. We have been watching deer, raccoons, flying squirrels, rabbits in the front yard. It is winter (northern MN, Ont) but it seems to be working with no problems and the battery life is unbelievable and the photo quality has been really good.
Still testing...but so far love them
October 6, 2015
Great cameras. Initially had an issue with random periods where it would not take photographs in night mode...just black pictures as the IR Flash was not activating. Talked with Browning and they told me I needed to do the firmware upgrade which was very easy using an SD Card and then doing it in the field. Will be checking them this week to confirm it worked...otherwise the pictures are clear and love their range for night shots of up to 100'.
Great Pictures, Nice Camera
September 28, 2015
So far the camera has incredible pictures. Much clearer than the Moultrie and Bushnell cameras that I have used in the past. I purchased this camera because 4 of the Bushnell cameras I purchased on Amazon have stopped working and the warranty ran out so I would have to pay to fix them. I would rather buy a new camera that will last than to fix a defective camera that has intermittent issues. Anyway, I put this camera out about 2 weeks ago and checked it today and the pictures were incredible. Now to see how long it lasts through the winter and the rainy weather. I would have given it a 5 star but would like to test for about 6 months to one year to see if there are any defects. I'll post an update later.
Very good images, but won't trigger at a far distance
August 23, 2015
This is a good camera, but I have two negative comments - one minor, one serious. My minor complaint is that the memory card is difficult to remove because it is recessed right next to the edge of the camera housing. To remove it, you must press the card with your fingernail or the very tip of your finger. It gets easier with practice, but it is annoying, particularly if it's a cold day.

My major complaint with this camera is that it won't trigger unless the subject is very close to the sensor. I have a couple Bushnell cameras that trigger at a much greater distance. I discovered this because I had two cams aimed at the same spot from two angles. One was a Bushnell and the other was this Browning. The Bushnell always had images that the Browning missed. The Browning images were generally better than the Bushnell's, but the Browning missed many shots. So, if you are placing a camera in a confined area, the Browning is a good choice, but for wider coverage you will miss many shots.
great trail cam
August 7, 2014
very good trail cam, takes outstanding day time photos, only reason I give it four stars a couple of the night shots blurred. the cam held up to a wild pig attempting to remove it from a 4 inch post it was covered in mud with tusk scratches to battery case. also cam has been out over 3 weeks took several hundred photos and still has 98 % battery life left.

Only reason I took off 1-star: The plastic washer between camera bottom and round locking nut to keep camera from turning on mounting arm tears to easily. And round locking nut needs to be either bigger round to grab or needs bumps to grab to securely wedge camera so it does not turn on mounting arm.

Terrible info with camera
November 20, 2015
no where does it say it won't use a 32GB Ultra card in it. I then bought a sandisk adapter card and apparently that doesn't work either--very dissatisfied that they don't tell you that in the manual. So now I wasted time and money for 2 cards that won't work and no pictures to see if the camera is working!!!! Wouldn't be sp bad but I live 25 miles from town and now have to wait to get my 3rd card to try!!
Housing Redesign Needed
July 9, 2015
I purchased this camera as a second trail cam. My other is a Stealth Cam. I was disappointed that the cable wouldn't prevent the Micro SD Card from being removed while in the field. It would allow anyone open the door to take the card even with a security cable. My suggestion would be to re-design the housing so that a cable would prevent the access door from being opened. In all fairness, I did not use the cam so I cannot report on it's operation.
Want good night pics
May 18, 2015
First off, I'm more interested in good night pictures, used around my yard to capture animals, I'm a newbe using trail cams so take that for what its worth.

I currently have Covert Illuminator, decent color night pictures seems to miss many shots, still in the testing stage.
Had Steath G-42, with temps down to 0% it would miss pics and although seems to have good feedback, I found pictures very grainy.
Bushell 8Mp Trophy Cam Hybrid, I found both night and day pics grainy, best of all as to distance.
This Browning, considering price is probably the one I should have kept if the Covert doesn't pan out. It seems to have more blurry night pics compared to Bushell. The latch many complain about maybe an issue, as it was a little on the cheesy side.
I'm not computer geek but I found all the unit programmable without too much difficulty. Yes, the disk are difficult to insert or remove, all one needs to do is apply some tape to bottom, which allows one to grasp the disk.
IMO for the cost of these units the picture quality should be much better, even a cheap-o camera is so much more superior.
Thumbs-up, but with many qualifications.
January 3, 2015
The primary reason I'm not rating this highly is that the cheap plastic latch broke on the third day of use. This is a critical part, as this is what will keep the sensitive electronic parts protected from the weather. Returning it under warranty sounds like a time-consuming ordeal, so I will probably be looking for an external strap to hold it tightly closed. The camera manual is not very clearly written, and the controls are not exactly intuitive, but it can be figured out eventually. Don't look for help on the Browning website however, as their only help is a video of a very different model. Once you do figure it out the camera takes pretty good pictures. The advertised 10MP photos may not be a true 10Mp, but may be interpolated. Browning doesn't make this clear, but at http://www.trailcampro.com there is some discussion of this in Browning's higher end model, the Spec Ops camera. You will see weird artifacts like dark or bright lines along edges of highlighted objects, and you will see more noise than would be expected from a true 10MP image, so I suspect this camera is also using interpolation. In spite of these issues, the camera seems to be one of the most highly rated ones out there, and it does do a pretty good job. Daytime photos are quite clear and sharp, and night photos at least allow me to recognize the critters out there in my yard.

November 3, 2014
I had several complete white out night frames. I still had a few partial animal pictures, so I'm not certain of the camera's speed. The night pictures that did turn out are very clear. Daytime picture quality is very good. Very easy to set up and looks like battery life will be good too.

Nice mount, but doesn't work with the Browning Security Box
September 24, 2013
This is a nice mount. It is strong enough to support the weight of the camera at different angles. However, it is not designed to work with the Browning Trail Camera Security Box. The holes on the security box are too small for the threaded screw used on the tree mount. I guess you could use the tree mount without the security box, but then someone could walk by, open your camera up, take the sd card and batteries or just mess it up. You could still run a python cord around the camera so they couldn't steal it. I ended up drilling out the holes in the security box so I could use it. Seems to be a poor oversight by Browning.

Disappointed it
September 25, 2016
Bought this last August. It worked fine for the one season but now it won't retain it's programming. I have other cameras from other manufacturers that I've had several years that still work consistently. It's disappointing to say the least. Worked great while it lasted and I actually bought another of the Strike Force cameras before I realized this one has an issue. Hope the new one lasts longer than the other one.
While I like the units size and ease of operating
December 17, 2015
While I like the units size and ease of operating, I do not like it's picture and video quality under best circumstances, sorry. Also, and this is my fault, I did not do my homework on the flash...got infatuated with the 100 feet range posted. Thought it was black rather than infrared; deer do see it.
Purchasing experience was flawless. Would buy again from the folks.

Even if you have to spend more, find a better camera.
October 31, 2015
As a positive note I would say that this game camera is inexpensive, and you get what you pay for. It takes good quality pictures. I have three major complaints with the camera in my first three weeks of use. First, I have had this camera less than a month and already I'm on my second set of Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. The first set of batteries lasted about two weeks, and less than 100 pictures. That is ridiculously poor battery life from such expensive batteries. Second, I was having a lot of problems with 0kb files. In other words, something would trigger the camera (deer, whatever) and it would take a picture but the file would not write to the SD card and it would be 0kb in size. It appears that a slower SD card was causing the issue. 80 MB/s or faster cards seem to work fine, but brand new 40 MB/s cards had this problem very. very frequently on my camera. Now that I know that I can acquire more new SD cards that should work, but it took a lot of time and lost pictures to figure that out. Third, the SD card is RIDICULOUSLY hard to get out of the unit. I read other reviews stating this, but it didn't register with me just what a pain that would be. It is a MAJOR pain. I'm sure the little 85lb Chinese girl that tests these units at the factory in China has no problem getting the SD card out. But an adult American male without long fingernails will have one hell of time getting the SD card out of the unit. Especially if your hands are cold, in which case it is completely impossible to remove the SD card without tweezers or needle nose pliers. It's the only game camera on my property that I need tools to get the SD card out. Too many times when I'm out swapping out SD cards in my cameras I have to walk back across 50 acres to the house to get tools because I forgot to take them with me to get the SD card from this one camera.
Battery Life Uncertainty
October 26, 2015
I bought this Trail Cam and had problems with images being recorded on the SD card. I talked with Customer Support and they he(rated him an "A") was helpful in setting up a test to check the camera. After a positive test and providing feedback to a different Customer support person, she(rated her a "C") tried to convince me that it was a problem with my computer. After testing on another computer that was ruled out. It ended up being a problem with the "New" SanDisk card. Now for the reason I have returned the Browning. They advertise, and other people claim, long battery usage. My device with 6 New Energizer Alkaline batteries showed 96% after loading the batteries. Within 2 days of in home testing and less than 100 images, the remaining capacity was at 39%. For me that created too much uncertainty for me to even contact Customer Service so the Browning has been returned to Amazon. I purchased another brand of Trailcam from Amazon.

Tested the cam at home and it worked great. First time out in the field I closed the cam and the latch broke. Customer service said they have had many issues with the latches and sent me a new latch. Replaced the latch, placed the cam in the woods. Went back to check cam three weeks later and it had shut off. Cam had taken pics for only two days and then shut off. Upon further inspection the battery housing was lose, causing the cam to turn off. Sent cam back, still waiting for it to be repaired.

Wish I Had NEVER bought

Has never worked right and should have returned it. Called company and got nothing resolved :-(
Only good for video
October 1, 2016
Only good for video. Pictures are usually of nothing. Motion detector picks up motion primarily on the right side (facing the camera) of the camera, snaps a picture of whatever is in front of the camera (trees, grass) and misses the animal as it walks by. Then picks up the motion as it leaves and snaps another picture of nothing. If animal enters from the left side (facing the camera), it has to get farther into the field of view before the detector picks up the motion. Video setting works good, really good quality video, but doesn't get the range advertised. Tree mount is not nearly as easy to use as I thought it would be. The position of the mount almost always gets changed as I re-mount the camera. Use a bungee cord and a stick behind the camera to keep it perpendicular and save yourself some money.

Did not work for Sh*t! The motion detection was pathetic!!! Went back to Covert and Wild Game Innovations and had no problems. I had heard good things about these so I had to try as my old ones were very old. These suck the wild game innovations 360 works great!
Can not recommend this camera to anyone
October 14, 2015
Can not recommend this camera to anyone. Will not take night pictures or videos. Browning would not reply to my emails or phone call in a timely manner, not the 30 day money back warrant has expired. I have to pay postage to return it for repair. I am not happy with this camera.
not good night picks

Going to send it back inferred don't work just black picks at night Awsome picks at daytime
Two little known facts.....
November 10, 2014
Superb performance both day and night; wide angle detection; great flash range; fast recovery time; fast trigger; long battery life; exceptional customer support....

Fact One: Mac users can change the SD card>DTIM>TLAPSE>.tls suffix to .avi and enjoy time lapse photography without having to bother with the factory provided Browning Buck Watch Time lapse viewer PC software.

Fact Two: Browning cameras will perform at temperatures ranging from -20 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Beyond that range, the batteries will likely give you problems. (Source Facts 1 and 2: Browning Customer Support)

I'm taking delivery on my second Strike Force tomorrow.

UPDATE......UPDATE.......UPDATE......UPDATE.......

Well, took delivery of my second Strike Force camera from Cabela's, and now I feel a need to drop my product rating to a single star. The Strike Force is great, IF YOU GET A GOOD ONE!. Our local Cabela's has a good return policy and I traded and tested FIVE different cameras in hopes I'd find one that performed like the one I received from Amazon. Runaway flash shots, sometimes 40 overexposed in a row, was a chronic problem, and the last one I returned (for a refund this time) could not perform the motion test sequence.

The serial numbers were in the 17102XXX081405 range and my cameras ranged from consecutive numbers to a 40 unit production lot interval. Bad lot? Don't know...don't care!
