WHAT A CAMERA!
January 17, 2017
All I can say is this.... QUALITY. You will not need any other brand of camera. This one is superb in all ways. I could go on and on because it is that good. Perfect sound, pics, video, and ease of use. Truly a home run for hunters and photographers alike. The settings give you every choice you could want. Just buy it.I purchased it to watch wildlife and I get good shots day and night. I can even hear a possum walking on the leaves off screen. I just love this thing. It takes good color as well as night shots. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase.

Iv'e written several reviews on the fantastic game camera, & have purchased 4 of them, so to say the least this is proof or their excellent quality, & received promptly & well packaged to no harm to product, Very satisfied

I had to try out the camera for awhile before I write a review! It works awesome! So far it survived three harsh Michigan fall/winter storms. It even took excellent pictures during the storm's. The images are clear, and the colors very good. The video works fine as well. The camera is easy to program, which I like. Overall I would buy the camera again, and also would recommend it to other's.
The small view screen was somewhat a disappointment while looking at it
December 28, 2015
This is my first purchase for the Amcrest ATC-801. I did not know if this would serve me as intended? The small view screen was somewhat a disappointment while looking at it. I would never have imagined this devise would work out so well. I programmed it to do short videos and was amazed at the quality and Wide screen pickup this devise had. The quality of this unit was superb. This device not only fires with movement but also sound. The night vision quality was superb also. Having giving this a good trial run, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Would I make this purchase again? Yes, without hesitation.
Great for the price!
December 4, 2015
Easy setup, though there is a small learning curve. Love being able to check it on the spot without having to bring anything. Nice and compact, easy to place. Set it up, and wasn't able to get back to it for 2 weeks, it took 749 pictures and vids with hardly any dropp in battery life. is sensitive, make sure to set where there won't be a lot of wind movement.
I like the camera easy to set
November 10, 2015
I like the camera easy to set. I must not have something set correct. It triggers when a leaf tumbles by or the grass moves. Can anyone tell me the best settings for the camera mode so I don't have to go through dozens of picture of just the field. Thanks in advance.

Perfect for Intended Use
October 26, 2017
We bought these to use in our camera and they both worked exactly as intended. Buying a two-pack allowed us to keep two separate events apart from one another without the photos running together, so that was super convenient. 16GB really is a pretty good amount of storage for us. I hesitate to buy larger storage cards in the event they are lost or damaged. I'd rather lose 16GB worth of data than 64GB etc., but that's just me, a personal decision.
Good Buy
May 12, 2017
I bought this to accompany the ViewSonic VFD820-50 8-Inch Digital Photo Frame. I can't tell you how many photos it will hold because that depends on the size of each photo, all I can say is that I saved over 30 to it at about 200 KB and didn't run out of room. The price was great and the packaging was well protected and arrived quickly.

Amazon is amazing I have a 2gb sd card that came with my nintendo 3ds. I am planning on playing pokemon sun and with the demo and full game the data would be more than 2 gb. I bought a 32 gb sdhc card from amazon and I was able to transfer my data over to it. I tested it on my nintendo 3ds all my progress is still there. It is perfect, now to be honest I should have upgraded to a sd card that had more space long ago because of all the game I play. I am glad I did it, so I can enjoy pokemon sun and other 3ds games that I buy a hard or digital copy of.
Perfect for Nintendo 2DS
September 21, 2016
I needed an sd card for my Nintendo 2ds and this has enough capacity to store plenty of games. It was instantly recognized by the Nintendo 2ds and I have not had any issues since.
It works for my Mac Air
August 5, 2016
I tried a micro with adapter and that didn't work. I'm using it in my MacBook Air with solid state drive to increase my overall storage. I was able to move a lot of files here that were cluttering my Mac but I didn't want to necessarily delete them. My Mac just sees this as another drive and I can now put items on it that I may not need now but would like to hang on to if necessary. So, for that it works perfectly and writes fast.
Great authentic product
January 25, 2016
Great authentic product! Sadly I had to return it as my VW memory card slot doesn't support SDXC (SDHC is it's max) but would buy again from seller. Returned it on my own dime a week ago to avoid the $$ of a UPS prepaid label for such a small item, hope the refund/return works out. I wish I hadn't. My mother bought 2 of these today as extra photo storage space for he laptop and husbands tablet. Cheapest fast memory you can buy and SanDisk is the gold standard for SD cards.

Great game cam
July 12, 2016
Purchased two of these and still use them. They work great and are a great price. It is easy to use and whether it is day or night time show great pics of what you are going for. I had an issue with one of them in the beginning but the great customer service at Amcrest fixed me right up and had me another shipped to me as soon as they got confirmation the messed up one was shipped. These have been outside in the weather for about 3 months straight with just having to change the batteries twice and the memory cards every few weeks. Now that is just my experience, depending on if you choose pic or video or both depends on how much battery and memory card usage you will have.
Good quality. Too sensitive.
June 20, 2016
I was pretty weary of buying this camera for such a low price, but figured what the hell. The quality is pretty good, with a good field of view. Takes pictures and records audio and video. Works great. My only gripe, which is minor, is that it's pretty sensitive. After putting it up for one night I came back to 125 videos of trees blowing in the wind.

May 28, 2016
This trail cam is as described and arrived in a timely matter. Now I own several trail cams of different makes and models to compare this ATC-801 720P HD to and Im and avid hunting machine for hire and for personal satisfaction. This trail cam was surprising, more than I expected for the money I paid very reasonable priced. Mostly I use most of my cameras in video mood and the same for this one. ( 30 second video and then delay for 1 min to next video). This camera had good color yes color videos the night videos are black and white and are good also. What is important here is for you to learn how to set a camera up in the surveillance spot. Try not to set it up facing directly at the bright sun. This is for all cameras makes and models. This camera is for long long long range motion detection way more than most other cameras and has the most sensitive motion detection I ever encountered. You must use this to your advantage cause it can be a disadvantage with close up positioning. A shadow can move across a close up positioning and set the camera off, yes its that sensitive. Next the viewing screen is fine but I use a large very large screen for more detail. The camera screen is nice to have when your at your camera site. Next the remote, it works good and is very convenient when your setting up the camera. Push the buttons then wait for the screen too change, I had to learn slow down and wait. Set up of the camera can be difficult if you have never dealt with this kind of cameras, slow down read the direction and you'll be fine. The red laser works good close up for pointing the camera at camera site set up. It wont range out to far in bright sunlight though but neither will any laser. Next the batteries hold up well enough compared to my other cams, but always buy the good ones. This camera best used in open areas such as a feed plot or field. Hope this helps and would recommend this cam for that special place that other cams cant reach. Four stars only because I believe nothing is perfect and its not for every spot that you might want to place a camera. I have cams out every day of the year and my time with this cam is only 3 months so we will see how it is at the end of the year.
Pleased so far

Pleased so far, wish the camera had onboard controls as well. The battery failed in the remote shortly after first couple of uses and nothing can be done except on and off. Photo quality looks to be pretty clear.

No Amcrest Support
November 30, 2015
No adjustment for sensitivity(Distance) and no support from Amcrest. When setup in Default mode the camera continually takes pictures of nothing. If the sensitivity(Distance) could be adjusted, the camera might be OK. I have sent 3 queries to Amcrest Support with no response. The camera has some good features but does not operate correctly because of no distance adjustment. Must be a software fix. Needs Amcrest Support.

Bought for camera but will use with camcorder
September 26, 2017
Bought this to use with my camera,a fuji finepix, while I was on vacation. I kept getting a card error signal in my camera. So I returned it and they sent me another one right away, but i got the same error message. I compared it to my other sd cards and this has a different code than my others. So I did try it in my canon camcorder and it worked fine so I will use it for that. Check with your manual for the correct sd card code to see if this will work with it.
Good Quality
April 11, 2017
Had it since April and it still works. Just a note of advice: remove the SD card from the camera BEFORE the battery, or you could accidentally lose files. Aside from that, works great. c:
and took LOTS of great pics with old friends who were visiting
April 8, 2017
I need help. Bought the new 64GB disk for my Canon Powershot A640 camera, went to the beach and redwoods, and took LOTS of great pics with old friends who were visiting. When I loaded camera disk into computer to download the pics, it asks me to format disk. Am afraid that if I do that, I will lose everything. Drats. I need those pics. Once in a lifetime shots. Any ideas? Other than this little glitch, I like the mass amount of photos I can take with this disk.
I feel like these cards are overpriced for this day in age
August 23, 2016
I feel like these cards are overpriced for this day in age. San Disk cards are always a good buy when you need storage as they are quick and reliable, but since they have been out so long you would think they would have found a way to make them more affordable? I did not get the easy open package, but I did not have trouble opening the manufacture package. It tore open without scissors or any other help. I use mine in my laptop and computer i have had so many computers break it is nice to know my important photos and things are stored on a card like this.

Good qualityThis product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail price. I am reviewing it solely because I want to share my experience with other potential customers. I have received no compensation for my review nor do I have any relationship with the seller or manufacturer of this product.
Love them.
January 13, 2016
Here is the only reason that I am giving it 4 stars. I do not like the lock slider on the side of the SD card. This might be helpful to a lot of other people for many reasons, but I can say for me, that it hinders my experience. The main reason is that I am a hunter, and use these SD cards for trail cameras, and if someone wants to mess with my camera, they can either steal (which obviously the product can't prevent) or lock my SD card. Not to mention I have accidentally locked one myself and lost 2 weeks worth of pictures because the camera couldn't operate while locked. Hope this helps! Other then that, fantastic product!

It was fairly easy to set up with the owners manual
June 15, 2016
Received the trail cam quickly and it was packaged and included the remote. It was fairly easy to set up with the owners manual. I did change a few of the default settings in the hopes of gaining a few extra photos. I purchased the SD card in addition to the camera. I am a little disappointed that it does not seem to record/store more than a few days of photos at a time. We are using this for driveway surveillance on our car after it was ransacked. Seems average in quality. The trail cam was a much more affordable route versus a security camera set up.
Way too sensitive!!!
June 12, 2016
This trail camera is very good. It is capable of taking 8mp pictures and 720p videos. There are some negatives to it too. The sensitivity is very high, when it is windy it see trees and takes picture and videos. Once it toke 2000+ pictures and it also had 140+ videos because of the wind and vegetation movement . If your willing to look through 2000+ pictures to find maybe 10 please do but if you don't, I would not recommend this camera.

May 17, 2016
Good camera, could be one of the best with a software upgrade. I left it out to monitor an animal dumping site, and the battery life is phenomenal, the remote is pointless, the pictures are great, the problem is, it is way too sensitive, it basically takes pictures all day long, wearing the batteries out in a month and forcing me to review thousands of pictures. This wouldn't be a problem if you use it someplace without tree leaves blowing around....but then, it is a trail cam...Amcrest tech support basically told me to upgrade to a ATC-1201 for sensitivity adjustment...which sucks, but it also means they could add that feature with a firmware upgrade and this camera would get 5 stars from me...
My Review of Amcrest ATC-801
March 28, 2016
I purchased this trail camera to see what goes bump in the night around our property. I decided to bite the bullet even though some of the reviews were not favorable of this product. Here is my review. The first one had an issue with recognizing a memory card so I returned it. After receiving my replacement(I did not pay for return shipping) I got it all setup and in place. The strap is pretty long so it can fit around some good sized trees. I wasn't sure what I'd get, if anything. I also wasn't super particular about the best quality but just wanted to be able to see animals at night. It is a very sensitive camera, the first day we had 800 some odd mix of pictures and videos of a blowing weed that was triggering it. Not a huge deal, easy to delete from the camera(a little timely) and even easier from the computer. In that first night, we did catch a little fox scampering around. I put the video of him in this review so you can see a night video with sound. The TV hookup cable is nice, though for some reason while hooked up to the TV the camera periodically resets itself so if you're browsing through photos you have to start over each time it restarts. It doesn't seem to do this when not plugged into the TV, or at least it hasn't done it yet. There was a full moon on the evening of the pictures, and it is stamped on the display which was accurate as well as it kept the date/time stamp which was a nice feature to know when the critter showed up.Some complained about the usability of the software on this camera and I found it a very simple menu to use to change settings. I also purchased a SanDisk 16GB card for it, which is a class 4 card. This works just fine in the camera from what I can tell. That was something I found myself unsure of while purchasing because nothing on the Amcrest site or this description states what class card it should be, while on other Amcrest camera's it does mention requirements for cards. The remote is nice, in my opinion, because you can set it up and take a few sample pictures with it to see your positioning and review on the screen without wondering whether you're setup too high or low.I have never owned a trail camera before to be able to make comparisons with. This camera is nothing fancy, but for a low priced camera I feel safe saying "it's an ok camera".
Good features (quality) / price ratio
January 27, 2016
The original 5 star review:Good features (quality) / price ratio. Left camera in the woods for several days during winter storm, it survived and captured images of animal movements. I like that it shows temperature on still images, wish it was possible on video. Sound and laser pointer are very helpful. Also, it would be good to have a molded reinforced security loop for a cable lock instead of a bottom screwed-on bracket.Revised 3 star review:After using this camera continuously for 3 months some problems became evident. The remote control is not intuitive at all: numeric keys are useless, the menu navigation is painful, figuring out how to play captured video is even more painful. The remote control drains batteries on standby in a couple of days. The camera is too sensitive - I am getting only 1 or 2 useful images out of 400 in a week. Browsing through that much garbage is very annoying. The camera is triggered by the changes in natural lighting and slightest movements of the vegetation. I think sensitivity issue can be dealt with by a better built-in software. After a few rain storms my camera lost color and recorded daylight images in magenta. The FOSCAM customer service were prompt to replace the camera, but they ignored all my questions and complaints about the product. I will not recommend this product.
Review from a HUNTER, not a HOBBYIST
November 16, 2015
This camera is OK, but I wasn't super impressed. I am an avid hunter on a budget so I decided to give this product a try. For 70 dollars, I would probably go the extra few bucks and buy a bushnell trophy cam. Take this review for what its worth from a HUNTER's perspective, not a hobbyist's. I broke this review down into Pros and Cons to better aid hunters. I have no interest in using this as any type of "security" camera.ProsThe concept is great. I love the viewing screen. It makes setup a breeze. The day pictures are also nice quality. The remote feature is cool and helpful too. Compact, lightweight, and (despite the color) hide-able. Battery tray and 4 or 8 battery option is also nice. My favorite feature is that I can see the pictures on the camera without pulling the SD card out.ConsThe remote doesn't work past a few steps. The night vision camera is definitely less than desirable and the pictures are always blurred. The design of the tree strap inlets makes securing this camera very difficult. Security is a priority on public land, so I had to make custom cable locks...not ideal. The sensor is ultra sensitive as well. On a 2 day check I had 209 pictures, only a handful of which were animals. Too sensitive for me. Both cameras I purchased had this issue. I don't like to sift through 400 pictures only to see three or four pictures of deer. Waste of battery IMO. Both cameras have a tendency to randomly turn off while reviewing pictures. Not sure why, but they do. Customer service is virtually non-existent. I was on hold for an hour today with no answer, and emails are slow, if at all.I hope this review helps other sportsmen/women. There were a only a few reviews when I purchased this camera. All of which were 5 stars with no real wildlife pictures or substance to the review. I will likely return these cameras. I'm excited to try these cameras once the bugs are worked out, but until then, I can't afford to not know whats happening by my stand! Good luck and God bless!

May 29, 2017
This card was recommended for use with a Film to Digital Convert I purchased, and made the Converter freeze. Only because the Converter could not accept it. User Manual with Converter states such, but Amazon recommended this card to purchase with the converter. Now I have a perfectly fine memory card without a slot to use it in. I'm sure I'll find a use for it someplace.
Very slow for RAW with DSLR
March 27, 2017
Extremely slow with my Canon 80D DSLR — I often have to wait for 20 or 30 seconds after taking pictures to be able to look at them! Granted, I am using raw, so they are about 30 MB each… So this card is probably fine if you're just shooting JPEG's, it avoid for RAW.

November 27, 2015
I had purchased this flash memory card to make an emergency boot disk for my MacBook Pro. The application, 'Disk Maker X' did not recognize this SDXC card. OK, I'll use the application, 'Techtool Pro' to make a recovery/repair boot volume... This card "worked", but the speed of the interface was w a y t o o s l o w . I should have spent a couple of extra bucks on a USB flash drive instead. This card will be regulated to the camera bag.
Great for a point and shoot, not so great for DSLRs.
July 25, 2015
The quality of this card is relative to how you plan on using it. I bought it last year to use in my point and shoot digital camera (12MP) while on vacation and it worked perfectly. No, a year later, I've bought a DSLR and found it just wasn't up to snuff. My DSLR (26MP) creates files of too large a size for this card to quickly save. Want to take one picture? Fine, but be prepared to wait 20+ seconds for it to be fully saved onto the card, during which time you will be unable to take any other photos. Want to shoot in burst mode? Forget about it; it's not going to work. What I had been unaware of when I first bought this card is that memory cards have speed ratings which indicate how quickly they can process the data you want to write on them. To further complicate things, there are two types of ratings, Speed Class and Ultra High Speed. Speed classes come in four ratings, C2, C4, C6, and C10, which means they can write data at a rate of 2MB/s, 4MB/s, 6MB/s, and 10MB/s, respectively, or UHS comes in UHS U1 and U3, which writes at speeds of 10MB/s and 30MB/s. The higher the MB/s, the better the card. This card writes at a C4 speed (as indicated by the number 4 encircled by a C on the label). It's a decent speed for smaller files, but considering a RAW photo files can be rather large, if you're shooting high res, RAW files, this is not the card for you. It will absolutely freeze up your camera. If you are interested in an SD card for a DSLR, look at something like the Lexar Professional 600x 32GB SDHC UHS-I Flash Memory Card LSD32GCRBNA600. Since switching to the C10/U1 Lexar, I've been infinitely more happy with my camera. The Sandisk C4 32GB remains in my point and shoot, where it's better suited.
I made a mistake buying a Class 4 card. Don't you make the same mistake if you need a faster card!
July 31, 2014
Caution. Be smarter than I was, and make sure that you know what "Class" you need. A Class 4 card may not work in your application. This was for my first camera that didn't use Compact Flash cards. Apparently even the slowest modern CF cards work for video--not so with SD, where you need to be sure you have a fast card--and Class 4 is not a fast card. Works well enough for stills, but Class 4 will not work for video. I ordered in haste, and then had to get another Class 10 card to support video on a DSLR. Not very costly, though, so not worth returning. I now use this card for storage in a slide scanner, and I'll probably take it on trips as backup, but it is not a first line card for me.
Pros and Cons of 32 gb SanDisk SDHC Card
May 15, 2013
I have been using SanDisk cards in my DSLR Canon Rebel for the past three years and have found them to be reliable as far as recording pictures and sound. They are versatile in that it is easy to transfer data to and from them when inserted into my laptop computer. I use them largely for pictures and movies I take with my DSLR (digital single lens reflex camera).ProsCompactLightweightConvenientSmallReliableConsYou don't get 32gb of memory, you get 29.7gb of memory according to my computer. What the rest of the 2.3gb are used for, I cannot say, but that is what you get.Video is usually recorded in MVI format (Apple supported), which is more the fault of cameras like Canon, Nikon and others. So you have to convert the video to MPEG format if you wish to edit it using Windows software (requires a separate program). MVI files are also about four times the size as MOV files or MPEG files are.Transfers are slow for movies but almost instantaneous for pictures. Movie transfers usually take several minutes. These little cards are quite fragile. I recommend handling them with great care. Rough handling, such as "shoving" a card into a slot because you're in a hurry can damage the ultra-thin copper connectors. Dropping and accidental strikes can result in an useable chip and there goes your money. Keep them in their little plastic cases when not in use. Insert them slowly into their slots. Prepare before you take your picture. Be ready to shoot, even for spontaneous pictures. If you slide the little plastic tab on the side, it will render the chip "permanent" until you slide it back into the top position. This makes it impossible to transfer memory away from the chip but allows you the ability to make pictures at your local kiosk such as a Target or Walmart or Walgreens that have such kiosks that accept disks. Once you slide it back, you can transfer data to and from your computer.

Overly sensitive
November 6, 2016
Too sensitive. Thousands of photos per day, of grass blades rustling in the breeze, or even just shadows moving across the scene. There's not a sensitivity or range setting. The remote control is not very well thought out. The dual battery tray is a good idea for longer time periods between visits.

Bought this camera and about the third time I opened the housing the plastic body hinge broke off. So I put my heavy duty duct tape to work. The very next time I opened the housing the plastic portion of the body where the door latches broke off. The plastic body of this unit is crap! other than that it is a good product. Not so much!!!! Batteries don't last more than a few weeks.

Very complicated and hard to use. Remote to small and only way to control camera other than turning it on.Need a magnifying glass to read manual and very hard to understand with what little I could read. . Screen to small to make out picture.I've owned several trail cams before and made a mistake buying 2 of these.
Bad Product
May 11, 2016
This looked like a good camera when I got it, and turned it on. However, when it came to using the remote to format the camera, after pushing certain buttons several times the buttons on the remote quit working. After trying again and again, I realized the remote was not going to work. Therefore with the remote not working, it rendered the camera useless. I had to return the camera back to Amazon for a refund. I do not recommend this camera until they work out the bugs with the remote.
Amcrest ATC-801 720p HD camera
April 22, 2016
I purchased two of these cameras last week. After receiving them, I assembled the first one with the 32gb sdhc class 4 memory card (which was "frequently bought together") with this camera, and the eight aa batteries. I noticed the battery holder only had two springs to keep tension on the batteries. I called amcrest tech support and asked them about this. They said it should have 4 springs to keep tension on the 8 batteries. They sent me the correct holder. After receiving the correct holder, I installed the batteries in the holder and installed the holder into the camera. Nothing happened. I again called tech support and explained the procedure I had done. After not getting much help, I returned the camera to amazon. I then proceeded to assemble the second camera, doing the same procedure. This time the second camera came on and I was able to do custom programming with the remote. I then took this camera to my camp and set it up to video any animal movement between 20:00 hrs and 06:00 hrs the next morning. Upon returning to my home, I checked to see what videos were recorded between those times. I tried going to the "play videos" feature, but, could not access that feature. I again called tech support on 04/30/16. I explained the procedures I had done and mentioned the sd class 4 memory card. after about half an hour he said he would call me back after 11:00 am today (05/02/16). I called him back and got a different tech. I explained the same situation. After this tech consulted with others, he said the class 4 card does not work in this camera. He said a class 6 works. If someone is thinking about purchasing this model, be aware of the memory card. Even though amazon says the class 4 is bought with this camera, the class 4 does NOT work. I am in the process of sending this camera back to amazon. All of this occurred between 04/27/2016 and 05/02/2016. I would not recommend this item.
Takes tons of pictures of nothing, switches to night mode randomly, remote can't be used to turn it on/off
April 12, 2016
I've been using this game camera for a little over 1 week. It's set up in a covered barn area, facing away from sunlight. In a little over a week, it racked up over 900 photos of nothing. Maybe some shadows moving? So it works, but is very sensitive - if I had it mounted in the standard location (a wooded trail), it would be taking pictures of every single leaf movement or fly buzzing around. Also, it randomly switches to "night" mode during the day, so the photocell is very sensitive as well. One more note - the camera is only programmable using the remote, so if you lose it, you have no way to change the settings or view the pictures on the screen. Also, the remote cannot be used to turn the camera on/off, you must open the case on the bottom to turn it on and off. I bought the camera thinking I could use the remote to turn it on and off remotely, you know, like a remote should do, but nope.

SanDisk is a good brand, but this pair of cards is useless ...
September 21, 2017
I cannot get these to work in any of my devices. They're supposed to work in my cameras, but they won't work in either one. I'm not sure what these are meant for, or if they're defective, but they don't work in anything they're supposed to work in. Of all the memory cards I've ever boughten, these are the only ones rejected by every device. It's weird. SanDisk is a good brand, but this pair of cards is useless as near as I can tell for the average person.

April 14, 2016
Very slow, compared to my other SanDisk 32 GB cards and reported two error messages during a photo shoot. I was terrified the pictures would not save. Luckily, they did. I formatted the card before the shoot and it took a long time to format it to wipe it clean, after the shoot. I have never had an experience like this from my two other cards of the same company and stats.
Not very satisfied.

Great concept. Very poor design/ application. You have to unscrew it to access the back panel which means taking it off. The UI Interface is buggy at best. It takes several minutes to access the Wi-Fi on the device. When you delete images through the web interface, it evidently does not delete them from the SD card. I bought one, hoping that it was going to be the next best thing, however it needs much much work. Unless they update the firmware and web interface to be more efficient and not take five minutes to download imagery, I will not buy another. It is actually faster to remove the SD card and download imagery the old-fashioned way then it is to use the web interface and wireless utility. It defeats the purpose. Come on Kodiak, you've got a great idea, you just need to package it much better. But it does work. That's about all I can say at this point
Gets the job done I guess :/

Well if U have the patience in waiting for things to copy, then you'll be fine. It rates at about 28gbs (Of actual Space) and copies files onto it at about 4mb a sec, maybe a little faster depending what mood it's in. Trying to copy something that's like 15 gbs onto it though lol...yeah you'll be waiting for at least a good hour. My net can download about 4x faster then what this can do, so yeah...that's pathetic. Been working fine for me otherwise. It's a Class 4 though, what do I expect right. If y'all want something faster, then get a better class version besides 4, the lower then number is, the better usually. Definitely not good to use as a installer for anything as it goes really slow. I don't understand how this thing can have all this memory, yet be SOOO slow, and trust me, it's not the PC haha. I've used this in a regular internal card reader and a USB one. Speed was the same. It didnt work on my friends MAC either. Not for sure what kind it is exactly but I had put a couple of things on it to transfer to his laptop, Popped it in the SD card slot, didnt want nothing to do with it. Didn't even pop up with errors or nothing. He has a 16gb Kingston he tired, worked perfectly, so it wasn't his port. As far as my experience with it though, I don't like it, WAAAAAYYYYYY to slow for my needing haha
Does not work with older card readers
January 28, 2014
I ordered 2 of these (2gb SanDisk-branded SD card), they arrived promptly, and did not function. So I shipped them back for a replacement. Two new cards also arrived promptly, and ALSO failed to work.- Attempting to copy files to the card results in a "disk not found" error.- I tried two different card readers, both of which work perfectly well with other SD cards.- I tried reformatting the cards -- this also failed, with a cryptic error message.- I tried toggling the lock switch -- which did nothing.Shipping these back for a refund.UPDATE -- I ordered a brand new SD card reader, and these cards work with it. They don't work with any reader more than a few years old. I don't know why.

Doesn't work very well. Very hard to read the manual, can't understand the service people when called. So far I haven't taken a single picture in over a month. Sometimes it doesn't turn on. Programming it is a lost cause.
Would not recommend to anyone

I believe item had been used prior to being purchased by me. The remote control battery was dead, had to buy a new one. Problems getting camera to operate when timer is set, won't come on to take single pictures, User manal is worthless!! NOBODY at Amcrest speaks clearly so you can understand them. Would not recommend to anyone. If I can't get it to operate properly TODAY, IT'S GOING INTO THE GARGAGE.

Dung...! I installed 8 fresh batteries and a new 32 GB SD card, slide the switch to 'on' and...nothing. Indicator 'on' light never lit up, remote menu never came on. Game camera is simply defective. Regret I did not pay close enough attention to several other product reviews that stated the same problem. Junk is a kind word. Don't buy!
Please don't waste your time like I did.
May 17, 2016
I read the reviews and was hopeful when mine came with a color LCD screen. Others were right though, the picture quality is so bad it isn't worth the time to mount it to a tree. I set it up and was hoping it would not be so sensitive as to take zillions of pictures-it did. I am really disappointed but in this case, thank you to the people that gave this bad reviews, it deserves it.

sometimes the video doesn't record the length of time it is supposed to, once in awhile it records a 2 second video instead of the 10 second one it is set at. Not sure if it is the camera or the card, still trying to figure out why. .......It is now August 2016 and I used it a few times, it got wet inside and it will not work. will not buy another product from this company....

Good product, fair price, fast shipping. What more could you ask?Added: Now after about six months, a little more information. The camera is GREAT except for one thing. Sensitivity. It is permanently set to HIGH sensitivity and it is. Sensitive. On windy days it takes a lot of pictures. On REALLY windy days it never stops (every six, or eight seconds all day). If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably step up to the next level and pay for one with sensitivity you could adjust. If you can live with this one, single problem, definitely buy this camera.Added Again....Now, after about nine months, I'm sorry to say I would not recommend buying these cameras. The motion sensors are simply way too finicky to be useful and the interval settings don't help solve the problem. Earlier, I attributed the problems to wind, but that's NOT the problem. I bought two cameras and they are both unreliable and may take 30 pictures in a 24 hour period, or 1300 pictures during the next 24 hour period, without regard to wind. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.

This is not an SD card.
September 10, 2017
I wasted my money on this because I thought it was a regular SD card. It is not. It only works in devices compatible with SDXC. Has this happened to anyone else.
BEWARE - This item is not returnable - I would not have purchased had that been clearly stated.
August 29, 2017
This doesn't work in my camera that is was supposed to be compatible in and now I went to return it and there is a no return policy. Guess I'll have to reach the descriptions more carefully. Bummer.

Didn't fit the electronics purchased for; returned but deeply sadden that I had to make a 30.4 mile trip to turn in to amazon station when there are several locker stations within a 5 miles radius of my house!
Try another brand if you need a 32GB SDHC card.

Dead on arrival. identical specs with other brands - SONY and TOSHIB- but this SANDISK was not recognized by my computer like the other brands were. . Now I'm trying to find out how to get a refund for this dud.
Second time's a charm
October 28, 2015
The was my first SD card purchase. I got it in the mail quickly. I put it in my new dashcam and everything was fine for a few days. Then it stopped being recognized. I put it in my laptop and it didn't work there either. So I returned it and got a replacement. The second one is working so far but I haven't had it very long. I hope it doesn't fail like the first one did at some point in the future.EDIT 1-1-2016: So the second SD card died on me. It worked for a few months then just stopped working one day. I took it out of the dashcam and put it in my laptop and it would not read. Now I am out of the Amazon return window so I am stuck with a useless SD card. I'm just glad I only had dashcam video on the card and not priceless family photos or something.
Spend the extra 7 bucks or so for a class 10 SD card or better!
February 28, 2015
With the prices of SD cards now, purchasing anything under a class 10 card is a waste of money. Sure it will hold a lot of data BUT will the new technology you buy next year or the year after even support a class 4 card?Do yourself a favor and do a little research on SD card speed before you buy. TheI learned my lesson, I purchased this to use for a data logger for a Raspberry Pi project and it works fine but for 7 dollars more, I could be using a class 10 SD card for video work.
