VTX
September 4, 2017
Wish I had bought this sooner. It is low enough to slip under my VTX1300S and raises its 700 lbs to a comfortable work height.Once i added tie down straps it was solid and I was able to move the bike around fairly easy. I would definitely recommend this for any owner of a cruiser.

Perfect for my 2011 Road King... light use
July 28, 2016
solid construction... no issues so far... lifts my 2011 Police Road King up just fine. Perfect for oil changes. I'm not using it on a daily basis but have had no issues with quality or construction. I will say not having a handle to maneuver it around the garage is kinda lame. using the stupid pole/hook thing just doesn't cut work for me, but for the price I'm happy.
Great Jack

Bought this as a Christmas gift for someone and they loved it. They said it was very well made and worked perfect for their motorcycle.
Love it!
December 5, 2015
I love my motorcycle lift, I even used it to help me get the front differential out of my Toyota Tundra 2000 SR5 and it worked well. Without this I would have had some major issues doing some of the most basic maintenance on my 2001 Yamaha Midnight Star. To date I have had no issues!
Torin T64017 1500 lb. Motorcycle and ATV Jack
June 6, 2013
Bought this jack for my v star 1100. Easy assembly. This jack is a universal fit for most motorcycle, I added 2 pieces of plywood perpendicular to the lift pads, because one of the lift pads rested on the engine and made lifting unstable, other than that I love it.

I like it a lot! Similar to BlackJack, would Recommend
March 14, 2017
I like it a lot! I have another brand that is similar (BlackJack) and it differs only in the side extensions (the little angle-iron pieces on the sides) on this jack are offset toward the tool end. This works well for me as my other jack has the same sort of extensions, but they are centrally located. This is great as I can use BOTH jacks close together on the same lift. This unit is made in China, of course, and matches the BlackJack for build quality. My recommendation is that BEFORE using the jack, *grease* the screw threads as they are shipped dry and check all fasteners for tightness.
a great addition to any lift
November 30, 2016
excellent quality, amazing design touches like the ballbearing washer on the jack screw, to reduce jack screw turning forces when loaded. There are some poorly cleaned up rough and sharp edges. The saddles fit almost to loosely, The extra wide out rigger base make this a very safe tool and the heavy duty steel construction has made this an exceptional value.
Makes working on bikes easier
November 14, 2014
I have a lift for my touring bike but needed something to lift it up to work on the tires & this lift works great. Built tough enough to lift my 800+ lb bike. I use a socket & ratchet as the tool that came with it has basically a short rod with small nuts welded on the ends. It's not comfortable nor long enough to apply proper turning effort when lifting a heavy load like mine. The height is very good. The width & length are good so as not to tip or rock but I still secure the bike with tie downs so it lessens accidental tip overs possibilities. I haven't had any use for the 2 sliding stands that came with the unit since my bikes have flat bottoms.
Using this on the streets in NYC
January 23, 2014
I do all my motorcycle maintenance right on my street in Manhattan, and this thing was the best purchase i ever made to that end. I can jack up while the bike is parked between two parked cars. Chain maintenance, sprocket replacement, all that kinda stuff with a jack I can just carry downstairs and store in my closet. Real world DIY perfection.
A great motorcycle jack
November 20, 2013
I bought this motorcycle jack so that I could change the fluids in my 1200 Sportster and Heritage Softail. It really works great for this purpose. I did throw away the tool that came with it and use one of my longer handled socket ratchet wrenches. I have also found that the motorcycles take up a lot less room in the garage when they are sitting up right on the Jack. Its also handy for lifting the wheels off the floor for cleaning.

Good jack
January 13, 2016
It lifts my 450lb bike no problem. It is a little wobbly, but still seems sturdy enough. I wouldnt recommend lifting 1500lb with this jack though. I cannot even see it safely lifting over 600lb
As advertised
May 13, 2015
The pads are just long enough for my 1500 meanstreak. The weight of the bike so far. is not a problem for the jack. The arms flex under her FAT !%#$ but it works good so far. The box was damaged during shipping. Most likely from the carriers due to the weight of the jack. I got lucky none of the hardware fell out of the tear holes.
great

I based my purchase on the fact that I've used one of these before, great product
Better than I thought
May 22, 2014
My small motorcycle apparently is a little heavier in the front than I figured.I had to put the front wheel on a block until I get it jacked up and secured. The Jack is very well made and works as it should. A little awkard the first timebut just getting use to is and will do just fine. Like it a lot and will share it witha friend that has the same cycle as mine. Not a lot of room under for a oil pan so I used a 1-1/2 lb Folgers Red Coffee container. Worked well
Bought this for my husband as a surprise
May 28, 2013
He was giddy like a little boy on Christmas day! Had been needing and wanting one for a long time. He says he loves it. I was a little disappointed when it arrived because the box was smashed and torn everywhere and the stickers on the actual item were peeled or scratched. That was probably from UPS who delivered it. He did mention that the long black handle was useless. We did put his Honda Superhawk up on the jack and it wasn't 100% sturdy. The bike was a little wobbly and wanted to fall over when the handlebars were turned to the left, so maybe it needs to be strapped to the jack?? He says all in all it is a great item.

Strong and sturdy

With my grinding wheel I had to cut down the nuts and bolts about 5/8". It was too tall for my 2013 Kawasaki Voyager 1700. Now it works perfect!
Decent product, a couple minor issues, but overall worth consideration
June 4, 2015
I have to give this a slightly less than ideal rating, but this is partly because it doesn't fit my bike properly. That is not the fault of the jack, but I can knock this rating down slightly due to the mechanism of raising/lowering the jack. The product looks good, and is of simple design. The pieces on top slide to as wide/narrow as needed. It's fairly straight-forward.My bike, a Triumph, has no center stand, no frame underneath (to put a jack under) and it has an exhaust that extends slightly below the bottom of the engine. In other words, I can't put the jack perpendicular to the bike, as desired for safety. I am able to tun the jack nearly parallel to the bike and put the arms under the fins of the oil pan, but that wasn't all that sturdy. So, I can use this jack for the rear of the bike, as I can put the adjustable-width arms of the jack under the sides of the swingarm. In that configuration, I can jack the bike up easily and have a nice sturdy set-up.What I don't get - the product comes with a short 'wrench' that goes on the end of the unit, and one turns the handle in order to jack the bike up or down. I am reasonably strong and the bike is not all that heavy, but I really wonder if anyone at the manufacture ever tried to actually lift a motocycle using that enclosed/included jack handle?? I say 'no way'. Note that you can just put a wrench or socket onto the jack and use that instead; at least you are not required to use the enclosed jack handle.
good product
July 29, 2013
Over all this is a decent product but the handle that was provided was impossible to use on my street glide, to lift it required a larger wrench. 7/8ths by the way. It does collapse down small enough to go under a low bike and the extensions make it usable on a higher bike. I would hvae given it a 5 star but the handle let me down. The extensions are not usalbe on a low bike.
Nice little jack for the money
March 3, 2013
If you've looked around, this is the same jack that most motorcycle/fab places sell for about twice the price. It works as advertised, however unless your bike sits fairly high, the two upright stanchions will not work. I tried it both on my Harley Davidson Sportster and Road King and it would not clear on either bike. The jack still works without them, but the bike can slide around if you're not careful. I plan on modifying the stanchions to make them shorter and non adjustable, but in the mean time I just used a piece of tacky toolbox liner. That worked okay for the time being.
Great lift but flawed manufacturing
December 6, 2012
I purchased the Black Widow lift after looking around at various other lifts in the market (which frankly all looked the same, perhaps there's one manufacturer in China that makes all of them). The price through Amazon was clearly better than anything else I found by at least $30. The lift itself is simple to operate and does exactly what it says it will do. My bike is just under 700 lbs and no issues with it. I intend to store the bike this winter with it up on the jack. My one significant fault was that the hole in one of the sliding bars that supports the bike did not align between the threaded outside portion and the interior unthreaded portion. This resulted in the bolt that tightens the piece to the body of the lift would not come through and hence the part would not tighten to the jack body. It took a considerable amount of time to bore out a hole through the piece without damaging the threaded portion. This is clearly a problem with quality control, or lack thereof. If not for this extremely annoying issue, I would give this product a full 5 stars.

September 10, 2014
I received the floor jack in good condition and in a timely fashion . All was good until I opened the box and started putting the thing togather. I was missing two major nuts and bolts. After reading the reviews it seems as though it's a common thing for that seller ! What's that about ?
Satisfied with the Jack
December 16, 2012
Hello,I used the jack for the first time and was impressed. I was not impressed with the assembly. I was missing parts and had to dig through my stockpile of spare parts to find a nut to replace the one I lost. I have a Triumph T100 and when teh jack is fully extended the bike is a little wobbly. Bike weighs 500lbs. Overall I would give this Jack a satisfactory rating.

the Good, the bad and the in between
May 2, 2017
The good. :: Sturdy. Strong and well made. The bad. Slippery surface. The bike will actually slide if it's not on the frame holders. With the frame holders It is too tall for My HD ultra. I use an air compressor to raise and lower it with an impact wrench and no matter how slow I go the screw always comes off the nut on the back side. No big deal but a stopper would be great. The bike feels sturdy though so no issues there. In closing I would recommend this to another consumer but get non slip tape.update 5.4.17- i have to use boards to get the tires off the ground to get this underneath the bike. picture says it all. So I am not too sure it is worth the effort. I think there are some out there that will work better. I should mention. Without the frame holder it fits fine. oh, the picture was not sideways when i uploaded it..

doesn't fit under frame on my harley sportster
January 8, 2015
Not useful for my bike because of clearance issue so returning it, but seems well built and probably useful for others.I have a 2005 Harley Sportster 1200 Custom (XL1200C).I bought this jack so that I could do some maintenance on the bike that require the rear tire to be rotated by hand, the bike to be level horizontally (left to right of rider),the engine oil drain hose to be accessible and that there be space beneath it to capture the oil. This was not possible using the adapters because even with the jack fully collapsed they did not have clearance enough to slide under the frame. After removing the adapters I found I could slide the jack underneath the bike and then slide a 1.5" x 1.5" x 6" piece of wood between the jack and the bike which would just clear the frame which allowed me to crank the bike upright until it was stable vertically and the rear tire had just cleared ground. However in order to do this on the sportster without damaging anything I'd had to position the wood just in front of the oil drain hose (and just shy of an exhaust crossover pipe that hangs slightly lower than the frame on the right so as not to put stress on that) and so to have room to drain moved the jack forward such that the wood was on the side of the jack rather than in the middle, which caused the jack to tilt sideways along it's length, which was alarming. Moving the jack further back corrected the lean, but took up all space needed for something to capture oil, at which point I decided to call it quits and try a center lift stand instead. Some measurements I did which someone might find useful:#1 The height of the jack without adapters and fully collapsed is 3.5 inch.#2 If you add the adapters then and screw them in all the way then the height from the bottom of the jack base to the top of the adapter (it's a U shape, so to the top of that U) is 6.25 inch.#3 There are 4 holes in the top of the base, in two pairs. The holes are 3/8 inch in diameters and measuring from center of hole in one pair to center in the other pair you have 5 inches (which is exactly how far apart the bottom of the frames are on my sportster, which leads one to entertain other modifications to make this thing work).#4 The bottom of the adapters (the lowest point in the U shape) is flat and about 1.5 inches across (a 1.5" square piece of wood just fits within it).ps...I also found I could not raise the bike using the supplied hand crank (though it was useful for lowering, or expanding jack to add/remove adapters) and could not find large enough socket to fit it so used a large crescent wrench instead.pps...I also tried inserting jack under frame by first rolling rear tire onto some wood panels. This worked but the lean of the bike on left stand prior to jacking up seemed too extreme and so unsafe to me (though in fairness I don't know how strong the stand it to take this added angle so admit it may be fine, dunno)
Black Widow 1,100 LB Capacity Motorcycle Jack
June 2, 2014
The Black Widow 1,100 LB Capacity Motorcycle Jack does what it's designed to do; however, the crank mechanism could use some refining in order to lift the weight of a touring bike rear wheel off the bike lift when lifting the front or rear tires when service is required. The crank mechanism is very rigid when the scissor jack is in the lower portion of the lift. As the scissor jack gets over-center the crank ratio/weight factor improves.
Does what it's supposed to do.
April 21, 2013
It does the job however, not without modifications. I have a 09 FLHRC(That's a Road King Classic, if you're not familiar with Harley Davidson alphabet soup). The jack will not fit under the bike without removing the sliding support brackets, as one reviewer mentioned, so I purchased a foot length of hay baler strap at the local Tractor Supply store to provide cushion between the frame and jack. It seems to work, just use care in the jacking-up process, as it is a bit unstable until the full weight of the bike is on the jack, or better yet have someone hold the bike while you jack it up. Eventually I will cut the brackets down to size and reweld them to the sliders.

Missing parts
May 3, 2013
Good product as long as you are handy and have extra bushings, bolts and nuts to make it work. Just like previous reviews it comes in its original box and there were parts missing. Once you get it together thought it works good.
It feel sturdy, but if you look more closely you can see that it's quite cheaply made
March 13, 2013
The major components are sturdy enough, but the smaller parts like the catch arm that locks the jack in place as it rises is cheaply made and it doesn't fit perfectly, and it took some slight modification to get the piston in correctly. I used a wood block under the center of the jack to make sure my bike didn't fall while I have it in storage, but I don't see a problem for using this to jack i up while working on the bike. Also the wheels SUCK, a good set of casters would have made this go from a 2 star review to a 4 star review...but alas...these are not a good set of casters.

Jack is very unstable, so much so that I do not feel comfortable even putting a motorcycle on it. The bottom seems to be bowed or bent. Product looked to be used when I received it.
Led astray by poor description again.

If this were under 4" at start like they claim it is I would be able to use it the way it's intended. But noooo you have to strip it down to a substandard jack that's not what you're paying for and they don't tell you that either anywhere that I see' 3.75 is without the rubber stilts slid over the base. Very disapointing. If I had known that I would've never bought it.
Got a bad one.
