LOW Cost-Reliable Tablet!
March 16, 2016
Let me first say: I am NOT a tech geek! I am a geek, but not a TECH geek, so if I say something incorrectly, please forgive me lol :-pOk, so as you can see, This tablet looks awesome! My pictures are never altered, these are raw, original photos, of me un-boxing my two (2) tablets I purchased. I purchased one for my son, and one for my daughter, and loaded them with STRICTLY educational programs/apps for when I need them to sit still while I have to clean the house, or have a doctors appt. The stats on the tablet can be found in the description section under the actual product on amazon.com, so I am not exactly sure what else to add....but what I can say is that:1: The battery life was really long-lasting initially....but after only 2 months of using this tablet, the battery life doesn't last longer than 3-4 hours, within a 24/hr time frame. My kids do not use this tablet every day all day, so I was disappointed to see the battery life decrease so soon on these tablets.2. The Camera: The camera is the equivalent of built-in webcam, from a cheap laptop...nothing fancy. The picture quality is not horrible, but it's not great either. You can see your photos, but you can also see the unclarity/pixel used to create the photos...if that makes sense. If you have anymore questions, comments, just message me :-)!Thanksxoxo
This tablet is by far one of the best tablets i have bought
February 23, 2016
This tablet is by far one of the best tablets i have bought. Amazing things about this tablet is that it is very cheap (affordable), it's very tiny so it's easy to put it in your bag or your purse, the two types of chargers are amazing, battery-life is acceptable, even with a low ram it works exactly like a ipad mini, it feels better than the amazon $50 buck tablet, downloading is fast, and no problems with freeze screens or breakable screens. I just purchased this and got this few hours ago and my elbow accidentally hit it off the table, and unlike the other $50 buck tablet this tablet has no affect when it hit my rug. I dropped my amazon $50 buck tablet on the rug and it instantly broke, however, when i dropped this on the rug it didn't break. I LOVE THIS TABLET!! This is great for kids since its not too expensive, and its easy for kids to watch whatever they want on YouTube. All 20 apps i downloaded worked flawless. I will recommend this tablet to anyone who just wants to relax. The best thing about this is that if i lose it, it wouldn't waste as much as if i bought a ipad.
Very good tablet
February 14, 2016
It is not the fastest, but definitely not the slowest. Its performance is very good and yes it is fast, just not the fastest out there. Its unfair to compare this to a $300 tablet so understand that this device will not be like a Samsung or an ipad tablet.pros:Browsing is quickStreaming sports and movies is amazingPlaying games like Madden Mobile and NHL Supercard is smoothe for the most part, but does slightly freeze in the beginning but will improveCharging is not really all that slow as some claim (if you can, just use it while it charges)posting to social media is a breezeSpeaker is clear and loudCons:Buttons are small but not a big dealGets warm, , but seems to cool off just don't let it lay on blankets or any fabric or it will get hotPlastic back which isn't a huge issue, but it's slippery so be carefulI love this tablet and it has been working great for me. If you had any of the expensive tablets and decided to buy this one, try to be fair in the reviews by not comparing because a lot of people might get this as their first tablet and you may mislead them. You can play games, stream, listen to music and search the web. To me this isn't a "basic" tablet. Basic is a flip phone or a slider, but as i stated before, it isn't the fastest but the speed is very tolerable. All or most android devices drain quickly, it also depends on what you do on it.Get this tablet. You'll love it
Pretty good performance and usability
February 10, 2016
I found it a budget tablet by comparing with my ipad and samsung galaxy table.. Pretty good performance and usability. This size tablet, 7", is the sweetheart size that I can use for everyday communication. My wife and daughter love it. Easy to toss in my bag and go. A good resource in my professional work. Very good for entertainment. Very vibrant, and responsive. Moves right along with games, movies/videos, presentations, social apps and everything else I use. 8GB may not seem like a lot of space out of the box, but if like me you find 8GB might be a bit limiting, the addition of an Micro-SD card is adding additional space via the micro-SD card slot on this tablet. In terms of accessories, the tablet has just the basics, Dragon Touch 7" tablet, USB cable, Wall charger. Really all I could need right out of the box.Overall, a really great budget tablet for spec's and performance. The Dragon Touch Y88X Plus 7'' Quad Core Tablet is a great bet when screen size and connectivity is a must. I will recommend it fellow co-workers.
Great little affordable tablet
December 27, 2015
This tablet has all the basics you need & is super easy to use. I bought this for my husband who is far from tech savvy and he has no trouble operating it. It is nice that it comes with Google play already on it for easy downloading of lots of free games & other apps. It's nice that it comes with a small operating manual too which shows the basics (great for someone new to tablet technology and unfamiliar with the way they generally work). I've had several different brand tablets that never came with any directions at all (luckily I'm more tech savvy than my husband so didn't have too many problems figuring them out). Compared to my others I like this one as much as one I paid 3 times as much for. Overall I would say it's an excellent value and great for pretty much anyone who wants a tablet; good for beginners as well as someone who's familiar with this type of technology.
Awesome tablet at such a low price
December 13, 2015
Please note that Tablet Express provided me with this unit in order for me to produce an honest and unbiased review.I go into detail as to my experience with this tablet as well as a "hands-on" demonstration in the video video review provided. Below is a quick summary in the form of Pros and ConsPros: - Inexpensive - IPS panel gives vibrant colors - Comes with a screen protector pre-isntalled - Comes with a wall charger and a USB cable - Has a stylish design - Did I mention it's only $55? - Front and rear cameras - Android 4.4.2 KitKat - Decent SpeedCons: - Plastic construction - Below average picture quality - Not the greatest durability - 512MB of RAM (it is sluggish when multitasking)Overall, this is still an incredible deal at it's price. When producing a $55 tablet, you have to cut corners in some places, and Dragon Touch did an excellent job of deciding what's important and what isn't.If you are having trouble viewing the video, here is a transcript of it: Please note that Tablet Express provided me with this unit free of charge in order for me to produce an honest and unbiased review of the product. The Dragon Touch Y88x Plus is a 7 inch tablet that delivers surprising performance for the price. The model I received was the “Apricot white” version of the tablet, although it also comes in black, white, blue, or pink. Included in the box is the tablet itself, some manuals, a USB cable, a wall charger, and a screen protector that is preinstalled. Let me start by saying that this is a $55 tablet. You certainly shouldn’t be expecting the quality of an iPad Pro. That being said, in my opinions, the build quality is a little low for my preference. The tablet feels lighter than you would expect, which is a nice factor for portability, but does give it a cheaper feel. The back is plastic and scratches very easily. If you want to keep this looking nice, I would recommend buying a case right away and always keep the tablet in it. Also, the tablet does flex quite a bit. With only some light pressure, I can twist both sides, and the screen lightens up significantly in the corners. I was too afraid to do a drop test, and I was worried the screen would get damaged very easily. The screen itself is certainly nothing fancy. It’s a 7” screen with a native resolution of 1024 by 600, which although is claimed to be “HD” on the product page, it is lower than a 720p resolution. At an arm’s length away, the screen looks okay, but when you bring it any closer, it is very easy to notice the individual pixels, which are not very dense. The brightness levels are a little low, and with the glossy screen, this might be hard to see in harsh lighting. It comes with a screen protector, but I ended up removing it because it was scratching more than the screen from basic general use, and I could not stand the texture of it. I found after removing it, the screen looked much better, and was quite a bit more pleasant to use although it does collect a lot of fingerprints. The best part about the screen would be the improved IPS panel on this. Colors are quite vibrant and bold, and give the tablet a more premium feel. This tablet comes equipped with a Quad Core A33 chip (The ARM sun8i), a Mali-400 MP GPU, 512MB of Ram, and 8GB internal storage. In all honesty, the average smartphone has more power than this, but at the price point, it’s hard to beat the speed of this tablet. My geekbench test gave it a single core score of 299 and a multicore score of 875.The photo quality is surprisingly not that bad. These are a few samples I took with both the front and the back camera. Both cameras are 2 megapixels, which is not quite HD, and the dynamic range of the camera is poor, but it still manages to take very impressive photos for a $55 tablet. I watched a YouTube video on his, and the screen did end up surprising me - it looked much better than I was thinking. Since the aspect ratio of the screen is not a perfect 16x9, you will have very small black bars on a widescreen video, although it is not very noticeable. . Also, the speaker is back facing, and not very loud. This, however, it to be expected on a $55 tablet. Here is the actual hands-on part of the review. To turn on the tablet, you simply press on the button on top and it powers on and to unlock, go here and you swipe toward the little unlock icon. The screen is a little bit darker than some screens I’ve worked on, although it is nice they sent it with a screen protector even though, if you look here, I pulled it off a little bit when I was trying to get the plastic piece off the front so do keep that in mind when you’re opening it up – do be really careful. At an arm’s length away, the screen looks pretty good, you can’t really notice any pixels but as you bring it closer, you can definitely notice little squares inside of the screen and it’s not the nicest screen I’ve seen. It is running Android 4.4 KitKat. I did check, and there are no available updates. So let’s get into the usability of this. Over here you swipe down from the top, there’s all your notifications and over here you have your settings like screen recording, which is actually a really cool feature I like. You can record your screen or take a screenshot. There’s different home screens on here, there’s just a bunch of blank empty ones over here though we do have a widget included on the home screen already for some of your basic quick settings. To access your apps, tap on the little icon down there, and you can then scroll through all of them. There’s a page of apps, and then these are all widgets you can move to your home screen – tap and hold and then you can move them to whatever screen you want, I just put another one of these down, but you get the idea and the sound buttons are on the side here, but also, when you’re in horizontal mode, you can adjust the volume down here, using the buttons down there, which is a really cool feature – I actually like that a lot. When you go in vertical mode, you only have your three main buttons down there. The Ui – it’s nice there’s different pages here, a little widget for some basic settings, you can move that around. To access all your apps, you tap on here, and you can scroll through them. Notifications, you simply swipe down and there all there, over here are all your settings.Overall, although this tablet is most certainly not a premium device, it offers quality and performance that I have not seen matched at this price point. I would first recommend this tablet to adults who want an inexpensive tablet for their children, but also to the adults, if they’re in the market for a great budget tablet.

This tablet was an excellent value for for a solid piece of equipment
July 12, 2016
This tablet was an excellent value for for a solid piece of equipment. There are many noteworthy features that you normally would not find on a less expensive device. I've owned both high end and low end devices and this one preforms well and is a solid build.Pros:Expandable with up to a 32gb sd cardCharging micro USB plugCharging wall plugAll the necessary pre-installed apps are added to the tablet.Beautiful Screen and resolutionSound is clear without echoSreams flawlesslyAll Pre-installed UI components work well ie: keyboard, camara. This tablet works with most available apps andconnects with wifi with no problems in seconds.Cons:While the camara work well without glitches The front and rear facing camaras do have low resolution photos. I do not use this tablet for pictures so it's not a problem for me.I recently bought another brand of low end tablet. I expected for the price I would likley get the same sorta laggy, glitchy tablet. The price was right I decided to give it a try. This tablet has impressed me on so many levels! From its solid heavy weight to its real glass screen it's odvious that this device is not your typical "cheap" tablet. It works equally as well as my Samsung (except for the picture quality). Not only would I recommend this device I plan to buy a couple more for my kids.If your looking for responsive, fast, non lagging and solid built device for an excellent price I would highly recommend this one.**I was not paid or compensated for this review in any way. I bought this tablet for its listed price and recieved no incentive discounts for reviewing. My opinions are solely based on my use and testing of this device and are completely honest and unbiased.
Outstanding value for the money
October 24, 2015
Overall this is a great little tablet for the price. It does not compare to a more expensive tablet like a Galaxy or an iPad. If you are used to a $200+ tablet and are expecting that kind of performance you will be disappointed. With that said, I own an iPad Mini 1 which is running iOS 9. That older hardware runs at a very similar speed (if not a little slower) than the NeuTab.I purchased this for my son to use at school. We do not allow him to use the internet or YouTube on his phone; however, there are several classes which require him to use his device, which put us in a bind. Our solution was to purchase a $50 tablet for him to use at school. A bonus of the price is that if he trashes it we are not out a lot of money. I found a $10 7" case on Amazon with the elastic corners and it fits fine. I think anything you find on Amazon to fit a 7" tablet will work fine. There is an offer in the box for a free case but I have not received it yet so I can't speak to what it is.I originally purchased the new Amazon Fire but then returned it and bought this one instead. Since I purchased and used both in a short period of time, I will compare the two tablets.Screen:This is the biggest hit on this tablet. The screen is washed out if you look at it at any kind of angle. The Amazon Fire screen is much better.Battery life:Unknown so far. It shipped with a 90% charge and drained to 70% within about an hour of heavy use (initial downloads and install).Packaging:The tablet comes in a plain brown box but is very securely packaged. It comes with a micro-USB cord, a proprietary power cord, and a standard USB power supply. It comes with a screen protector which is custom cut to this tablet. It also has an offer for a free case. Amazon Fire packaging is very nice and includes everything but a screen protector and a free case.Startup:The Amazon Fire took about 30 minutes to download and update everything. It shipped already linked to my Amazon account which was convenient. The NeuTab started right up but was very slow at first. I realize now that it was also downloading updates to several apps (Hangouts, Google Play, and Chrome). Once those downloads were complete (about 10 minutes) the performance picked back up. The registration was a little more clunky than the Fire. Standard Android stuff.Buttons/Ports:The Fire has a power button, volume button, and micro-USB port. The NeuTab has the same plus a small (2mm) power spot. I don't know why they included the proprietary cable and put the charging port in. It charges fine through the standard micro-USB port. I will probably throw away the extra power cord once I'm sure that everything is working OK.Warranty:The NeuTab has a 1 year warranty. Fire also has a 1 year warranty.Speed:The NeuTab is about what you would expect for a $50 tab. Fire is a little snappier but nothing to write home about.Parental Control:I installed a free app called Kids Place that allows you to fence off the tablet and only allow access to certain apps. There is a timer plugin to this app which only allows access during certain times of the day, or you can set a daily timer. This works better for me than the Fire FreeTime feature since FreeTime does not allow access to the browser. My son also requires an app called SeeSaw which was not available in the Amazon app store. If you are wanting to get a tablet and install any apps on it, the Fire is probably not for you. If you are mainly wanting to watch videos, you probably want to go with the Fire since the screen on the NeuTab is so particular about viewing angle.Overall:At the end of the day the biggest advantage the Fire tab has is the screen. It is also deeply integrated with the greater Amazon ecosystem. The problem is that you lose access to the bigger Android app market. The NeuTab has access to every Android app that will run in Android 4.4. This lack of a fence is the biggest reason that I will be using this tab instead of the Fire. So far I am very pleased.
good affordable tablet, no complaints
October 5, 2015
This is exactly what we needed. We wanted a cheap but fully functional tablet for our toddler to play with (limited, supervised time, for those of you who want to judge). She had a Zeki tablet but it broke. This is higher resolution, faster, more memory, and plays everything without the annoying quirks of the Zeki (eg, the Zeki's display wouldn't rotate, so videos couldn't be displayed full-frame; books just split up into unreadable page fractions, etc.). And it was cheaper. It came with Google Play so all we had to do was link to her account and all her games were ready to download. No problem at all linking to the home network. It blows the Zeki out of the water, and frankly, it compares favorably to our iPads. My toddler loves it. If I didn't own an iPad I'd probably get another for myself.
Great tablet, fast processor, wonderful graphics!
July 15, 2015
I received this as a gift for my birthday. I'm not a huge fan of Android operating systems so I was a little hesitant at first. After spending a lot of time with this tablet I have actually grown to like it! The 1024x600 HD display is so vibrant and clear. The processor is very fact, apps download in no time, and it's extremely easy to uninstall apps. The system is very easy to navigate. I found the camera quality to be very good, and I have no problem streaming videos (which is way it was bought for me)! At this point I've only had it about 1-week and there are still things I would like to do with it to explore everything about it. I also smile whenever I restart it (sometimes I do it just because), as I love how it comes up and says "KitKat" (my favorite candy bar)!!!
Perfect for my kids!
April 16, 2015
My 5 year old and 3 year old sons each had hand-me-down ipads on their last legs. When the wifi antenna broke in my 5 year olds, we decided it was time to get him something new. We chose the NeuTab KitKat because of the great reviews and, frankly, the great price. After all these were for preschoolers, right! We are very impressed! The tablet is very easy to use. It came with a little instruction pamphlet, but we didn't need it. Very intuitive device! It connects quickly to existing google accounts, or you can set up a new one. I made simple email addresses for my kids, and they were ready to go! I like the fact that I don't need to have a payment type on file for the Google Play free app purchases. The kids' reactions were priceless: my 5 year old calls his "blue lightning." I'm assuming this is because of how fast it is compared to his old ipad, since the actual color was black. My 3 year old loved being able to pick out his own games. They both love the cameras. We'll be testing out the skype app tonight I'm sure.If you're on the fence, I'd recommend getting this tablet. It's a great tablet for a great price!
Great product!
March 3, 2015
It is a very awesome product. Very easy to carry to beach, school, and so on. Great screen display. Google Android system. It also have a year warranty. So I do not really worry if any problems in this product. Amazingly it also has bluetooth. So basically, I paid 50 bucks but I bought everything. Such a good deal!

August 10, 2016
I have had this device for a month. I purposely purchased a low price tablet to try out this type of device to decide if it would be useful for using in the field during my amateur astronomy observations. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I may not be able to use. However I have found this Dragon Touch Y88X Plus 7'' very useful. I was able to download apps from Google Play without any problems. Also I have been able to move documents and photos backward and forward between this device and my desktop home computer using the USB cord. . I am a lite user of the device and have found the battery life to be very good. The battery charges without problems. The sound and camera are two items I don't use. However I have noticed the sound is poor and the camera is marginal. I have used this device several times outside in the field during star gazing sessions and am satisfied with its performance. I already feel I have gotten my moneys worth out of it. .
Just ok, nothing to get excited about.
May 20, 2016
For the price it's an ok tablet. It does what I expected it to do and that's stream movies from my computer. I haven't tried Hulu or Amazon video yet, but my network's pretty fast, so I should be ok. The screen came with a protective film already installed besides the one with instructions printed on it, I ditched is as it wasn't as responsive as I liked, with it removed it responds most of the time, but not 100% of the time. That's to be expected in this price point from a rather unknown brand. The screen resolution is ok, nothing to get excited about. Movies look good, but the color can look washed out depending on the viewing angle. Left to right is ok, up and down is where the color washes out. The built in speaker is ok, but plan on using headphones or external speakers if you plan on playing music or watching video. The front and rear cameras are crap, but I hadn't planned on using either of them. If you're on a budget and really want a tablet, then this class would be ok for most people. I on the other hand plan on getting a better tablet with more RAM and memory as this has 512MB RAM and 8GB storage with the system taking a huge chunk. It also has a micoSD card slot which supports 32GB of additional storage for movies, music, pictures or other files you wish to store.
I can't complain!
March 2, 2016
I bought this with an open mind seeing that it is a $50 tablet. If I had to pick three things to gripe about, it would be:1. The display is not as vibrant as I would like (buttttt..... it was $50)2. The sound is not that great (I won't be using the speaker in the device, so I won't count that against it :) )3. The battery life is ok (It will always be on a power source, so it's no big deal to me)There are some minor things that affect how my project was being physically laid out. I'm building a OBD2 to Tablet, Dash display for my truck. The location of the buttons and ports are in somewhat odd locations. I'm not really holding it against the tablet as my test device for the project.I popped in a 64gb microSD from an old phone and boom, all my music and pictures were there. I was very please about that.I didn't really buy this device to play with, but during my setup I thoroughly enjoyed playing with it. I'm considering getting the bigger version for my son. Even with the complaints I listed, I really, and truly shouldnt complain for a $50 tablet. I would buy another.
Great buy for 50 bucks.
February 14, 2016
I bought two of these tablets. One for my 7 year old, and one for myself. I knew 50 bucks would not get me much but I am very surprised with the outcome.Pros: Batter life lasts for a whole movie plus more. The picture is good, not great. The weight is nice and light.Cons: The picture/video for a graphic intense movie is off. You can see how grainy it can get on Netflix. 512 MB of RAM is not nice because it slows the tablet down after you use 3 or 4 apps and don't close them out. The sound is absolutely horrible unless you're on bluetooth or Aux cord. When you grasp the tablet the cheap construction allows for it to creak and squeak as if it will crack if twisted. Also I do not like the charging cable being a prong-like charger. Wish it had micro usb connection for charging because with my son he tends to push it in too hard and I am anticipating him bending the charger any day now.I would overall recommend this device if you just want something to pass time and keep kids or yourself occupied for a couple hours. Nice to jump on and go through emails and minor stuff. Just don't expect to write a mid-term paper on it. Want a tablet and have a budget, GET IT.
Great little tablet!
February 7, 2016
I bought this as a replacement for my small-but-clunky laptop, which is painfully slow and is surprisingly much of a hassle to travel with because the power cord block is large, heavy, and oddly shaped. I also didn't want to replace my cell phone with a smart phone and have to pay for an expensive data plan. So - I got this tablet instead, and I'm delighted with it.Pros: It's small, easy to carry, and its power cord block is slim and light, like the ones that come with a cell phone. It's faster than the laptop, the screen is bright and sharp, and it has available apps for everything I want to do when I'm away from home. Securing it with a password is easy. Kindle books look beautiful with on it (there's a Kindle app). Keeping up with email is a snap. I thought I would have trouble surfing the web because of the small screen (I use a 20" flat screen with my desktop), but I adapted pretty quickly. I like that there is a slot for a microSDHC card. It also has Bluetooth.Cons: I still find typing on a touch screen tricky because there is no tactile feedback, but at least I don't hate it as much as on the last device I used (an old Kindle). Battery life is not that great when online - and Pandora seems to use it up pretty quickly - but email and games can be downloaded and reviewed/played with in Airplane Mode, which uses very little battery life. The speaker are VERY tinny. I'll try earphones.Bottom line: Does all I expected of it and more.
Cheap powerful tablet
February 1, 2016
Shipping was quick to Hawaii (less than a week) and came undamagedProduct review: For $50 you get what u pay for and it was exactly what i needed... something cheap to play games (unison league runs quite well and smooth) and it is a android device so you can use Amazon Coins (amazon underground) for purchases in games. It has a very slight minor lag when first running the game etc but it smooth out as you load the game more. There seems to be a small touch 'dead spot' on the top right corner but if u somehow touch around it it will work, not really a big issue to me for the games and things i do but just to be noted for others. The product is light and can fit in my back pocket and the screen size was perfect for me cause i didn't like hulking around the bigger tablets. For the price and specs this product has, it cant be beat.... although i haven't tried other tablet within this price range yet (maybe amazon Fire would be next closet). I would highly recommend this product for those looking for a budget tablet which anyone can use, even my dad who is 70+ yrs old got the hang of it within the 1st day of playing around with it.I gave it 4/5 stars cause I have only gotten to use it for 1 day of receiving it and will update as i find any more errors/kinks to report. I am not getting paid or did not receive this unit to test/review and this is my honest opinions.

Needed a replacement, but still a good product.

Great little tablet for the price. I bought one for each of my two children. They love them. The touch screen works great. This is not a high end tablet and I wasn't expecting that at all. Perfect for young kids and the sound was impressive. Was is the key word, I'll get to that in a second. They have good battery life, fast processing, 2 charging options (which is great), and a sensitive/responsive touch screen. Mostly no complaints. My daughters are 7 and 8. They solely use the tablets for games. And yes, I would purchase this tablet again. However, my daughter's speakers went out on one of the tablets after less than 2 weeks. It wasn't dropped or mishandled in any way, it had a case on it since the day we got it. The headphone port still works, but we decided to try our hand at returning the tablet for a replacement.I don't return things often, especially by mail. I do like Amazon. I usually read reviews before purchasing so I can be as sure as possible that I will like the products I buy. We only had the tablet a short time and I didn't want to resign to only using headphones so soon after the purchase, so I bit the bullet... Amazon made the return/replacement SO EASY! It literally took 2 min to order the replacement and I got the shipping label email shortly afterwards. This product is good. I gave an extra star because I feel a lot more confident now that I have seen how fast and easy the replacement process is. The other tablet still works great, maybe this one was just defective. I'm super happy with Amazon's customer service.
Remarkably good, even gets 4 stars when compared to my five-star Nexus 9
October 8, 2015
An amazing deal! Far better than expected for $50.My own tablet is a Nexus 9, a very high end Android tablet. I bought this for my seven-year-old son and was pleasantly surprised at how few were the ways it was inferior, and how none of them will detract from his childhood use of it.Specifically:1. The screen only looks decent straight on. Not a tablet to sit on the couch and have friends on either side watch too. (Not a problem, his friends have their own phones or tablets and are using their own Minecraft of Clash of Clans accounts.)2. The case is well made, but not especially sturdy. It handles expected use great. We like the button locations. The first time my son dropped it, the front facing partially separated from the pack panel. It barely moved, and was not noticeable until the mini-USB plug would not go in any more. Squeezing the case around the edge clicked all the bumps back into their holes and it was fixed. (Not a problem. He needs to learn not to drop it.)3. The battery is quicker to deplete and quicker to charge. (Not a problem. I do not want him using it for many hours at a time anyway. We already own USB extension cords for tablet use during road trips in the car: the one time hours of tablet time is allowed.)4. Loading times are slower. Duh. (Compared to his InnoTab, this is much faster. He is thrilled.)Moreover, it has advantages for him over my much more expensive tablet!A. The buttons are in better places, and easier to use.B. It has a micro-SD slot, so his favorite music and movies can now travel with him.C. It comes with a very nice screen cover, and costs much less, so I am much less worried about scratches on the glass.D. It has both a charger plug and a mini-USB plug. It can be plugged in while transferring files to or from a laptop. (A small benefit, but potentially helpful.)I will order another one (in the other color) for his four-year-old brother as a December holiday present.
Great for the price
September 12, 2015
Have had the tablet a week now. Great price. Everything you would expect for an inexpensive unit. Not very "sturdy", the plastic case is thin and it creaks. Also the lens cover on the rear camera fell off the second day I had the tablet. It's attached with sticky adhesive similar to scotch-tape; I just stuck it back on the camera. The overall performance is occasionally a little glitchy and slow, by generally fine. The photos/movies it produces are a bit grainy. But the unit is exactly what I expected for a low price point item. I'm not a gamer, and I'll use the tablet mostly for travel so if it holds up it'll be great for my limited use.
Pretty good for the price. No customer support from NeuTab however
August 30, 2015
I purchased this model for $50 rather than the $120 that it originally retailed for. I think had the price been higher my review would be lower.First off this is a very light tablet. I would be very concerned if I dropped it, the plastic case seems like it would shatter instantly upon impact. This can be a bonus as its small enough to fit in my back pocket without me noticing it, but on the other hand if I sat down with it still in my pocket I'm certain I'd break it. Just keep in mind that it is a very light (and presumably flimsy) tablet. This is exactly what you'd expect for a $50 tablet, however. The screen does not perform well outdoors. Even at maximum brightness you can't see anything on the screen when outdoors. To me this is not a problem since it doesn't have any type of cell connection so I planned to use it almost exclusively indoors. Just make sure you don't have any sources of light shining directly on the screen. The unit comes with a pretty good processor (for the price) but with only 512mb of RAM. This is the only truly negative factor with the tablet; you really have to make sure as few processes as possible are running in the background otherwise you will have some serious stability issues. A few apps crashed as I was downloading multiple updates. Had this been a more expensive tablet I might want to expect a little more.As I said in the beginning its a pretty good tablet for the price. The one thing I would say is don't' expect to be able to play many games. A few games work but the low RAM will prevent several games from even booting up.As far as the software itself, there is one issue that led me to return the tablet eventually. For some reason I was unable to update several Google apps on the tablet, including the "Google App for Android" app. This became a problem as the google search function was completely broken. I could search the web with Chrome but not with the Google App. Every time I attempted to update the app in the Google Play Store I received an error saying that the package was not properly signed and that I needed to uninstall and re-install the app. However, the Google App cannot be uninstalled on this device (this is not true on all Android devices and must presumably be particular to the install of Android 4.4 that NueTab puts on these tablets). I contacted NeuTab's customer support about this issue but received zero response. Had this been from a major manufacturer (Dell or Samsung, for example) I would probably give this fewer stars, but given the price I kind of expected as much. After much experimentation the only option left to me was to root the device and install a fresh version of Kitkat. In the end I returned the tablet because if I'm going to be rooting a tablet I'd rather spend the same amount of money for a used tablet with higher system specifications, which I did.In all, it was a decent tablet for the money, and I only returned the tablet for the reason above. Instead I ordered a used Dell Venue 7 tablet which has more storage and higher RAM (although sadly a slower processor) than this model, but is used.If you're looking for a cheap tablet that will run email (although sadly not Google Inbox, for some reason) and web browsing, a few word processing applications and some games for $50 or less than I would recommend this tablet (presuming they fix the issue with the Google Search function). Just keep in mind that, due to its low price, you get what you pay for.
Good beginners tablet at a great price, Exj

At $50.00 its hard to find anything wrong with this tablet. I don't mean to say it does everything perfect. What I like about this tablet is that is that i will be using it for a long time doing a variety of things with it that individually would cost me so much my more. It plays music , I can email, watch a movie, Skype, play a game stream t.v., listen to a book, draw a sketch and on and on it goes. It froze a few times whatching john Olivers last week tonight show. That was a bit annoying but that's what I would expect for a $50.00 tablet. I would say get I if you have no tablet at all or you have been curious about them, this is a great one too start with. If you don't like it think to yourself it only cost the same as one month of you cellphone bill but works for free at most coffee houses and that is not too bad compared to last month phone bill right? If you had a tablet before you'll probably want a better tablet than this one.
Decent tablet for the price
April 2, 2015
Wasn't expecting much at that price I just needed a tablet for my 7 yr old son. He loves it, he installed a lot of games from play store with ease and for free. Battery seems to be a little problem maybe 4 hrs at most. Possibly will run longer if he closes unused program. It doesn't look cheap. The touchscreen Seems to be responding very well. the screen is very sharp and the processor very fast. My son was able to play his games with no problem. Will see in next few months if it will survive all the abuse from my child.Update: no problem so far, so I decided to get a second one, this time for my daughter.

May 15, 2016
I bought this as an inexpensive replacement for two much more expensive tablets my dog destroyed. Maybe this would be a good choice for someone who has never used a tablet or smart phone, but experienced users will find the slow response and lag time extremely frustrating. When I bought this, I did not expect this to measure up to my previous tablets by any means. I simply wanted an affordable device to watch Netflix, read email and read/post on Facebook. That's it. Accessing apps can take a minute or more, often nothing happens at all. Posting even a short email or Facebook comment can take 2-3 minutes as you wait for the app to respond, but Netflix works well with this tablet. Using a good memory booster app helps a lot. I gave this three instead of two stars because the screen quality is quite good - crisp picture with nice color - as is the sound quality. If you just want to watch movies, this tablet will be fine. If you want to do anything else, upgrade.
Okay Overall, But Feels Cheap
March 18, 2016
I'm not sure what I was expecting with an Android tablet from China. The product had a strange chemical smell for the first 24 hours of opening it. The screen is sort of cheap and its responsiveness is a lot less sensitive than I would like. You really have to make a firm press to get most touch events to register. The materials of the casing itself are normal plastic and look like something you find on dubious products from a flea market. It advertises an IPS display, but its specs do not allow the device to fully take advantage of that. The quad core processors don't really provide any punch. It's not all that surprising, considering it's a $4 processor. So, considering that, it's a fair deal. The RAM is sufficient for small tasks, but I really don't think I can use this tablet for anything, but development (for low-end devices). Potentially, the newer model would be a better deal, but this is definitely an entry-level tablet that gives a good deal for what's being offered.

March 14, 2016
3D gaming is limited, Fallout shelter for instance would not play well, but 2d, platform games and most android games without beefy graphics run great. Some of the games that were just completely broken by this tablet are Diamond Dash, Final Fantasy tactics, Gta san andreas, any 3d racing game, agario, don't touch the white tiles..... If you are looking for a gaming tablet I would pass this one up. Go for the 10 Inch octa core X10, It's double the price but the quality is amazing for 3d games. Android on this tablet will not allow you to wright to the SD with all of my favorite apps and so I'm basically stuck with the 8GB it comes with unless I want to root the thing and so far I haven't found a good root for it. King root, and towel root do not work. the IPS display is on the lower end but is vivid and looks good non the less, but trying to use a stylus is impossible. I would have rated five stars if they had advertised this tablet as a reader/minor web surfing tablet, but I will give 3 stars because of good quality, nice design, hi battery life. And because the charger gets very very hot when plugged into the tablet almost to the point where I feel its gonna melt.
Good value. It has its place, but it's definitely not a premium tablet.
February 5, 2016
My 5-6 year old Kindle Fire doesn't hold a charge any longer, so I figured I'd upgrade to something modern. This had a much faster quad core processor, and reviews were decent, so...Performance is disappointing. The limited amount of RAM I think keeps it from being a real contender. Running more than one application at a time is generally pretty sluggish, and you know the CPU is more than capable. Even Candy Crush slows down, what the heck? Once the application is loaded into memory everything runs fine. My company provides an LG G3 phone which totally blows this away in terms of performance. Again, more RAM...As for build quality, I was prepared for a cheaper feel but even still I was surprised. Having been used to the aforementioned LG, Kindle Fire, and various iPads, I was still blown away how cheap and plasticy this felt. Not a deal breaker for me, but if you like that solid, brushed aluminum feel you should look elsewhere. The screen is decent, exactly what I expected. For general use I wouldn't let negative comments about the screen dissuade you.The biggest annoyance is that the unit has a non-USB charging cable. Why?!? I have a fleet of micro-USB charged devices, and now I have to have a separate one for this? It will charge from USB, but very, very slowly.Anyway, for single tasking activities this is OK. Personally I would have preferred to save my 50 bucks and put it towards something better. It's a good value, and would do great for someone who wanted to hand a tablet to their child and not worry about they losing it. Or for backpacking across Europe – this would be a good internet device you wouldn't cry over if stolen. It has its place, but it's definitely not a premium tablet.
Barebones, ad-supported tablet from China. Price matches product.
January 17, 2016
I bought 2 of these, one for each of my kids for Christmas. At $50 each, it was a huge win for them and not too costly for us. Setting them up, they felt like standard, vanilla Android tablets. They're a little under-powered, but again, at $50, what would you expect?I recently noticed they both have ads that periodically jump on top of all other apps, coming from a core "weater" app that you can't uninstall. It also comes with some DU Start saver app (or similar), which also pops up over apps, also system based and cannot be uninstalled. I checked into "rooting" these devices so I can remove these apps, but they require some really sketchy apps from China. Nothing worked after a few tries, and I wasn't willing to install an app on my PC that was entirely in Mandarin.Bottomline, it's kinda sketchy, there's a bunch of ads you have to get used to, but it does the job. If I'd known the full story, I'd have gone the extra $50 to get tablets that aren't supported by sketchy 3rd party ads.
Was a a little disappointed in product
November 25, 2015
Was a a little disappointed in product, as a basic tablet I would would give it 4 stars no bells and whistles, I had read many of the reviews and found them mostly positive so I made the purchase. But the few negative ones about battery life I got one that the battery drained very quickly after a overnight charge and letting sit for approx 4hrs with non-use my battery had already drained to 86%. That would have been my only negative point I guess. Contacted customer service and received a quick return and refund

Handle with care!
April 19, 2017
It's factory defaults to China.Virus scans hit on google speech for some reason, but unable to remove it.It's firmware build in so I wouldn't trust any personal information on these. If you want to use this to manage your bank account online or anything like that I would seriously not recommend that.I would use this as if it is watching and tracking you at all times.I don't put personal apps or accounts on it.However,if you use this for playing around or just some random surfing it's okay. The cameras are meh,but it has both front and back ones so that's actually awesome for the price! It's a decent tablet to have as a spare to tote around those places you're too scared to take a high priced one to.They don't handle the cold well at all.My screen cracked all the way through in 20 degree F weather.

It is fast / I like the screen quality customer service is really great as well . One problem Is the 2 hour battery life on a down loaded movie standard definition . I get 2 hours a movie /a TV show after ..Music I got 3-3.5 hours with head phones all non streamA low action video game with music muted , 1,5 hours ..This is great Tablet I sent a question about the battery life to the company , I did not get a answer if these times are common but a return authorization, so going do that I have owned the Kindle 7 and got about 5-6 hours I wanted to get away from being locked into the Silk browser and wanted my Goggle /FirefoxSo will shop around see if there are others with good battery life . I cannot see paying 50.00 then another 40 for the portable batt charger . it puts you in a new tablet price bracket so might as well spend it on a better one out of the box
Worth the price
October 12, 2015
I bought this for my sister who is new to this sort of technology. I didn't know how much she would use it and since she had never used a computer or anything before, I decided to go inexpensive without bells and whistles. I first bought another brand but returned it within a couple days of her using it. I searched Amazon for the price I wanted and read the reviews. The NeuTab N7 Pro 7" Quad has not disappointed over all. It charges easily and fairly quickly. It is simple and easy for her to use. The only repeated complaint I hear from her is that it freezes up periodically. It seems to have been happening more frequently in the last week. She has had it for almost a month. I wanted to wait before giving a review so it would be more complete. After having this for a little longer, the battery does not keep a very good charge. I have changed my rating based on that.
Good buy for the money.
September 28, 2015
I admit this is my first tablet. I've used and built computers since the 1980s. So while I am new to tablets, I'm very adept with PCs. This tablet does offer a lot for the price. Really can't beat it, but I only give it 3 stars, because the camera is not good at all. The photo resolution is pretty sad. The sound is good but would have been nice it I had paid attention to see it only has one speaker. Also not good for someone who loves quality music reproduction. My fault. But will be good to have it sit there while I work around the house and not really paying attention to this issue. It takes getting used to finding how to get around to everything you want to do that comes so quickly and "naturally" on a computer. I have yet to figure out how to correct the time. It insists I am in Beijing, China. The other disappointment for me was to learn its Android OS is not compatible for the Wink Hub home automation. The online tech with Wink said all I needed was either Android or Apple OS. Wrong. And again, not this tablet's fault. I thought about returning it, but for only $50 I decided to see if I could learn to love it. Setting up Spotify and YouTube helped. It's a good buy for entertainment. I don't much care for the way you have to type to send an email, but learned you can use the microphone for speech to text. That works pretty good. Only problem there is when it gets a word or phrase wrong, because I've tried to go back and fix it with text editing and I couldn't do it. So i either had to leave the gook or delete the whole message to start over. That's rather annoying. Overall, it's a good buy for the money. I just needed to pay closer attention some of its details before buying it.
The tablet itself is a very nice piece of gear
September 25, 2015
The tablet itself is a very nice piece of gear. The sound is good and the cameras are adequate. The problem comes in when you try to make this work with your other computers and net work. The instructions provided are inadequate ans contact with NeuTab at their contact email didn't produce anything. In my case, lacking a competent 12 year old, I had to have a local computer company make a house call to get this to speak to the internet and to access email and google ( price $60.00). You certainly need a cover for the tablet ($15.00) and if you have large hands a stylus ($14.00) is a good investment. In short the $50.00 Tablet has been a $139.00 experience. However, for what I use this tablet for, now that it actually works, the cost was acceptable.
Works well but.....
June 12, 2015
I use this tablet to run the torque app. It works well at displaying the app and the Bluetooth speed is surprisingly good at keeping up with the OBD II reader. My only two complaints include the battery life and the touch screen. I understand this is a $50 dollar unit but the battery is only good for a short while after you unplug it and the reboot process is time consuming after it dies. The touch screen is unbelievably easy to scratch, even being super gentile with it just the normal finger presses seem to scratch up the face plate.

Decent for the money, but needs improvement
August 20, 2017
We have been using this tablet for our son to watch movies in the car. After the first couple of weeks it became very difficult to charge. It takes several hours just to go from say, 30% to 50%. and the battery life runs out very fast. We went with the cheaper version because its for a child, so we don't expect it to last for ever but still. It shouldn't take so long to charge it. With that said, the only other issue we have(which is a big one)is that it continuously drops wifi connection while he is at home streaming you tube for kids. Other than those two issues, it plays movies with decent resolution and doesn't lag like I have seen from other reviews. I hope this information helps other shoppers.

Unfortunately I was attracted by the price.I got two of these for my 4 and 6 year old kids to use. I figured I would find a third party app and use it as parental control. One of the two I ordered had a screen problem, so I sent it back, and got a replacement.About a week after Christmas, and my kids repeatedly telling me that they keep restarting on their own, I decided to factory reset, drain the battery, etc. They worked well for a bit, but then started some quirky antics. Needless to say, they're only $50, so you can't expect they're going to be perfect. The biggest downer is the fact that there is so much preinstalled software on here, and it randomly pops up while my kids are trying to use them. They have no idea what it is or what to do. They just press every button they can, and now they're in danger of downloading other stuff, bringing their tablet to me, and saying "daddy, its doing it again".Fast forward a month and a half now, and I finally gave up on my sons tablet. All he wanted to do was listen to music and play angry birds. The restarting and freezing was out of control. I basically took his tablet and told him I'd get him a new one. I did a bit of research, and really feel I found the best option FOR LESS MONEY! I got a 7" Kindle for him, with offers, which brought the price down. Then I happened to get it on sale. THEN, I looked up how to get the Google Play store on it (which doesn't require any "rooting", just following simple directions, and a one time PC use). The kindle is much more solid, never freezes, has better battery life, and , best of all, NO POPUPS OR RANDOM SOFTWARE!.I'm now going to purchase another one for my daughter, knowing hers will eventually die.I did contact dragon touch, and they had me check a bunch of things, and then offered to take it back and either fix or send me a new one. I'd pay for shipping, which I'm sure would be minimal, maybe $5 or so. But I've decided to just cut my losses. I know the product is inferior, and I learned my lesson. The company seems like they're doing their best to help out, but the product itself is something I wish I never purchased in the first place.
Cheap, slow and frustrating.
January 21, 2016
So I have been using this tablet for about a month now and I have noticed a few problems that this tablet has, first off it is very inconvenient that it requires it's own charger, a micro USB doesn't work here. On another note it's processor and capability to accomplish basic tasks is atrocious and it will freeze and force close in streaming apps and games alike. Secondly, the screen quality is rough around the edges but it is not the worste, the construction of the tablet itself is low profile and relatively small and portable, although it feels fragile and I was almost forced to buy a case, overall this tablet will be a useful for very baseline tasks like Google docs and browsing the internet. This tablet is a two star tablet because there are better ones out there, I do not advise this as a good purchase for yourself or for a present. Thank you guys for your time 🙋
Not recommended. Stick with a phone
January 13, 2016
This tablet was not as expected. The reviews were off big time. Or i got a defective tablet? The tablet at first was pretty decent. Everything was loading fast. There was little to no lag. I was falling in love with it. After i installed about 3 small apps to it that i usually use it started running slower and slower. It is now 4 days after and it has made me so mad with it i am getting rid of it since refunds cost money. Even the touch is off. Ive had to press next to things and under things to even get the tablet to press on what i wanted. I can go on and on about this tablet. I do not recommend it if you plan to use it for things other than skype facebook face time. Things like that. If you want to watch youtube. Play games. Do not get this tablet.I will never buy another Dragon Touch item.

Be VERY aware the viewing angle is very limited, but it ran every app I threw at it fine
December 6, 2015
Ok, you can't expect much st this price point... But the one thing I did expect was a screen that is at least somewhat usable. I have a 7" Android radio in my car, was basically expecting an identical 1024x600 LCD.Nope... The LCD on these things is terrible. The viewing angle is about 15 degrees (and don't even try to use it vertically, you'll swear your eyes are going bad on you.For me, I mainly wanted a portable display for some home automation prototyping stuff I'm working on, and this tablet is only good if it's viewing angle doesn't change. It's not half bad for the price otherwise... It's no Samsung or Apple, but it does have the ability to run every app I threw at it, until I went cross eyed from the pixels.I mess with electronics all the time... So I guessed maybe the diffuser inside was backwards... Nope, the LCD coating itself is the problem, and it looks like it was applied by a 2nd grader.Don't believe those first few rave reviews... Scroll to the end, you'll see they were given a free device and paid for the reviewHere's a video trying to show the poor viewing angle the best I could https://youtu.be/-kAB3C09Qs4
Not for me
October 28, 2015
Sooooooooooooooooooo very disappointed in this tablet. Thought I would save a few bucks and get a cheaper tablet when my old one died. It's from Google, what did I have to loose, right?I gave it some time, but just now ordered a duplicate of my dead tablet. This tablet is very cheap. Lessons learned = you get what you pay for. The feel is cheap, I could work with that, but the battery is awful. I don't use it every day, and when I wanted too = the battery was dead...EVERY TIME. The operating wasn't for me, maybe because I'm getting old, but waiting for it to start (after charging it before every use), and then starting in the browser every time just isn't for me. The graphics were cheap, I could deal with that also...the commands were very slow...I'm aging just waiting on it to respond. The makers ask for a good review, and say if you e-mail your post to them you can get a free cover. Well, that's probably the only way they get good reviews!Perhaps if I never had a GOOD tablet this would have been something...but just be warned...read ALL reviews.Pay a bit more and move on with your life!
Purchased 3 and all not working within 2 months
October 20, 2015
Unfortunately these were a no go. We truly wanted to like them as we purchased 3 of these and within 2 months all 3 are not working. The power button continually got stuck and with 2 of them you could only power them on when using the charger. We also purchased covers to go with the 3 we purchased however we were refunded as they didn't have any available..a huge no no for tablets especially when they are used for children. We returned 2 and received a new one for one and a refund for 1 and the new one stopped working in the exact same manner as the returned one. We weren't expecting the durability as we get from our ipads due to the low price, however, we did expect for them to hold up longer than a couple of months. Unfortunately, we can't recommend these.
Use for media and that's about it

I purchased the NeuTab to try myself with a plan to purchase multiple units to give to my clients to display our products to customers. I don't think I will at this point. It feels cheap (which was expected for $50), the glare is horrific. Even staring at the screen dead on in natural inside lighting you can see yourself with the screen on and it's SO HARD to see the icons and words because they look mirrored and they look like they are under a magnifying glass....so don't even think you're going to use this tablet to read a book. It's so bad it actually makes me dizzy. The screen is laggy to input, if it takes it at all and your finger doesn't glide across the screen...more like stutters. The first time I tried to play a YouTube video, it crashed. The camera is unusable as it won't focus. It's complete garbage. I knew that I was going to be purchasing a crappy tablet, I was getting it just to play videos for my clients which it will do....but that's about it.
2 stars
August 13, 2015
its too bright, it hurts my eye even if the brightness is at its lowest. the neutab n7 is utterly garbage for 95% of games that i play usually crash 3 minuets after starting the app. this tablet is not design for gaming. It is not the app its self that is causing the crashes i know because i was comparing this junk with my brothers nexus 5, the apps are not a fault. I even went an extra mile and rooted this device to maximize its full potential, yet it still proves to be worthless in the gaming area. ive wasted my time rooting, and my time buying this. I own pre-paid android phones that are cheaper, and does a way better job than this junk. i would had given this tablet a 1 star but because it streams videos pretty good which is the only good thing about this failure of a gaming tablet, i give it a 2 star, only because i can watch a lot of videos without experiencing any problems. The tablet feels cheap, and i found a piece of black hair stuck in between the screen and LED lights that means it isnt removable without completely taking the screen off, which really annoys me and i didnt do it since i might break it. The product also comes with a screen protector but it is not pre-installed for you like most tablets (stupid lazy people). so tough luck for people like me who hands shake and sweat when dealing with delicate operations such as perfectly laying down the screen protector without any air bubbles.in the end i'd say this tablet isnt worth the money, go buy a cheap phone you will experience better everything.
Had to return it for a refund.

*** Please note, I purchased this as a used Item. This is why I will give it 2 stars. (Benefit of doubt).I just received the Tablet today (05/14/15)For a Tablet with a Quad Core processor, I thought boot-up was a little sluggish. The icons to the right of the screen responded either very slowly, or not at all. I connected it to my WiFi. It broke and regain connection several times, while I was sitting right next to my router. I tried to download Garmin's HUD+ app from Google Play Store, and the app is incompatible with this tablet. Likely because it only has 512 M of RAM. So I boxed it back up, got an RMA tag from Amazon, and it will be in the UPSstore on 05/15/15 (am). So, not only I can't use it for the purpose I bought it, I simply did not like it due to it's sluggishness, and inoperable touch screen.I've purchased used electronics from Amazon before, with zero problems. But this Item, if you buy it, I recommend "New", not "Used". It likely will be a better buy and fully functional.

Lacking integrity
April 21, 2016
I initially bought this tablet because the value was phenomenal. 50 dollars for a machine with clear picture and reliable speed. I thought it would make a great and affordable gift for a young relative. Functionally, the tablet does all it claims to do, however, the first tablet I bought quickly succumbed to a faulty power button. The tablet could not be turned on or off manually by the power button after approximately 3 months.Customer service was mildly adequate, however, the only solution they gave me for the problem was pay for repairs. The repair would cost me approximately 30 dollars. 20 dollars shy of a new tablet. I assume with a price so low that is the nature of the beast, but the tablet only experienced approximately 3 months of use. I was surprised to find out that there was nothing else the company could do to make it right.Nonetheless, I figured i figured that I had just received a lemon and this was sheer happenstance. I purchased another one to replace the broken one. At this value, I was certain that it would not break the bank and that my nephew would be more conscientious about taking care of it. After 4 months, the same issue occurred. The power button failed to activate the tablet. It was unresponsive and unusable. This issue occurred twice. I paid 100 dollars for two tablets that barely had the durability to last a year. This isn't right. Customer service was never really able to make it right. I can't support this product, and I don't think people should buy it.Notes: The tablet was always in a protective casing, and while it experienced heavy use, the screen barely had a scratch on it. The tablet was well taken care of, but its durability lacked integrity.
Missing power button
February 24, 2016
My son loves the tablet but the power button isn't there. The tablet works though as long as I have it set to never sleep and I had to use a safety pin to turn it on. My older child all have the same tablet bought a few months ago and they work great and the kids love them. Great tablet just upset that power button was missing on this one.
Beware! BOTH of ours basically EXPLODED
January 26, 2016
We bought our two sons these devices for Christmas 2014. Within 6 months, both (what I assume are) internal battery packs basically EXPLODED with enough force to split apart the case. They look like little air bags that have deployed during a car wreck. This while the child was using the device. Luckily, no one was injured. The company's ridiculous return policy costs more in return shipping than we paid for them. I know it's taken a long time for me to post this but better late than never. I wish I could post the pictures here.
Unfortunate case of malware sabotage
December 26, 2015
Came with pre-installed malware, otherwise okay tablet. The malware noticeably started to act up weeks after purchase, it would download unwanted apps, specifically:'Ten Drops' and 'Likin Hero' by Foxx Games'Insane Stars' by Jun Li'Special Recorder' whose icon looked like the default speech recorder icon, but purple.'Services' whose icon was a red exclamation point in front and to the right of a green fan shape which just led to the wireless & networks screen. The malware would remove the antivirus/scanner when connected to the internet. The two malware processes were the following:Troj.cloudsota.z in com.android.popupAndroid.MALWARE.at_cloud.b in GoogleCalenderPluginServiceAs for the tablet itself,It feels flimsy, although it isn't.When transferring files to a computer, it would occasionally restart. With some .gifs, the picture viewer quits after one loop. The wireless network scanner is slow to detect -any- changes, such as a new network appearing or the current network being disconnected. The screen can be jumpy, and when new its very coarse. It can't handle many simultaneous apps , as it would often restart or lag with plenty of ram available. But still an okay tablet, for $50.//review by account owner's relative, it was a gift.
Cheap, Cheap, Cheap! Bought 3, and returning 3
December 19, 2015
I purchased three of these for my nephews and niece for Christmas. They arrived a few days ago, and I took them out of the packaging to make sure all of them worked. First off, even after plugging these in and letting them charge, one of the three didn't hold a charge at all. The other two had their batteries drain off the charger in less than an hour with nothing running. The power buttons on 2 of the 3 you could hold for 5 or 6 minutes before the device powered on. The date/time zone wouldn't save. They keep reverting to central time, and use a 24-hour clock even when you uncheck that option. The KitKat 4.4 OS also doesn't update. AT ALL. Finally, these tablets are *cheap*, flimsy plastic that actually bends in the hands of adult with very little force applied. I can't imagine this product in the hands of a 5, 8 and 10 year old. They'd be busted before Christmas Day was over. I'm returning all three and buying Kindle Fires. Lesson to me -- you get what you pay for. I wanted to make sure the kids had an Android device to get access to the PlayStore, but these tablets aren't worth what it will cost to return them, let alone the cost of the actual device. (Edited to add, one of the most annoying things about these tablets is that the charger is a push in/plug adapter and not a standard USB/sync cable. You can't charge these tablets with anything but the cord they came with, and getting the pin connector in so you hear it snap into place is not something your child can easily accomplish. Please keep that in mind)
Unreliable, Won't Turn On
December 10, 2015
Right out of the box, the power button only works 15%-20% of the time. This is not user error. I can't even judge the performance because it won't turn on most of the time, even when charged 100%. It just doesn't work reliably. Returning this tablet.

Terrible product. NOT worth any amount over $20.00
October 19, 2015
Wow, I was at least expecting something decent for $50.00, but I wouldn't pay $20 for this thing. I bought this for my young son and after sitting down to set the thing up I knew right away I was sending this back. Right away when I plugged it in I noticed the charger wouldn't go in very well,. I had to push pretty hard on the 3rd try and it finally went in. I've had charger issues with electronic devices so right then I had a bad feeling knowing it would probably cause larger issues later. After fully charging it, the battery died about 10% every 5-10 minutes. I checked the screen brightness and it was only at 50%. Also, the screen quality is HORRIBLE! So much glare and reflective colors, almost like oil and water when they mix. It killed my eyes and even my husband and son said it hurt their eyes just look at for a few seconds. This thing was barely out of the box and charged up before I broke the news to my son that we had to send it back. I can't justify spending money on something of such poor quality. One more thing I noticed as FALSE advertising (besides the "great quality" screen) is the box states Android 5.0 Lollipop but this shows 4.4 KitKat? Which is it? Whatever it was it was crap on this tablet.
Waste of Money! Poor resolution, apps crash continuously.
September 16, 2015
I purchased this tablet on 15 June 2015 for my 4 year old son's birthday. In using the tablet we noticed it moved at a snails pace - slow and 9 out of 10 times it does not respond to your input, I'd touch the icon to go to the full listing of apps and it would never open. I disregarded and thought it was just a glitch for that day, however it continued. Every app we download would work fine on my other android device, but when we click to open the app on this tablet, it crashes! Poor kid is frustrated by this tablet! Further to this, in August which is 2 months after purchase, the tablet's resolution is fading, now we can't use the apps I've downloaded to the tablet due to the fact that we can't see anything as the colors have faded off, can't see where to click. This is the worse purchase I've ever made on Amazon! I would never recommend this product to anyone! Now my son has no tablet!
the HD is Hoplessly Depressing, the Speed is Snail-like, the Quality is Off the Charts - as in below the bottom of the paper.

I am pretty sure that my 1988 128K apple macintosh (back in the day that is what they were called) was way faster than this thing! Screen res is horrible. Took me 20 minutes to try and order something else from Amazon, finally gave up and used my phone instead. Pitiful! If the Chinese are going to sell us garbage then I say send the junk products back and let Amazon figure out that it's not worth their time buying the worthless stuff in the first place.NeuTab® N7 Pro 7'' Quad Core Google Android 4.4 KitKat Tablet PC, 1024X600 Display, Bluetooth, HD Dual Camera, Google Play Pre-loaded, 3D-Game Supported (2015 Updated with Bluetooth)

This was a complete waste of money. I purchased this strictly for us to have a second tablet to use for looking things up while we're in our living room/kitchen area where there is no computer. This is the Yugo of tablets.First, the screen on this tablet is weird-I don't know if it's because I used the screen protector that came in the package, but you have to hold it just right or the picture looks distorted-it has an odd effect that reminds me of those old baseball cards that you can turn at a different angle and it looks like the player is moving. The place where you plug in the charger is not made very well--when I went to plug it in the first couple of times I thought they gave me the wrong charger because it was so hard to connect the two. The plastic around the plug was not evenly cut which seems to have been what caused the fitting difficulty. The battery life is probably the worst thing about it, though. I have only had this thing for a couple of weeks and don't use it that often [because the screen] and the battery drains crazy fast. For example, I charged it yesterday [because it went from 73% to 2% overnight while turned off] & I watched the battery life drain by 3% as I went to facebook and looked at the news on the visible screen--I didn't even scroll down. I lost a percentage point clicking from the home screen to facebook, then another percentage point once I got there and a third when I clicked back to home. And I don't have a lot of apps running in the background, either, I checked. It's a bit nerve-wracking trying to browse the internet while simultaneously watching the life drain out of your device with literally every click. If I had it to do over again, I'd get another brand--although this seems inexpensive by itself [minus the case], it's actually pretty expensive for something that fails at what it's meant to do. Even though I only wanted it to use for web browsing, it is sadly not up to that simple task. I don't understand how this has good reviews from people who use it for gaming unless they have it plugged in the whole time because it seems like that would drain the battery way faster than internet browsing.
dont buy this s***
June 9, 2015
dont buy this s***first off there's no pro's only con'sit arrived late (took three days)a little lag but its to be espected its only $50everthing was going fine i installed some apps not many i think 7-8 basic apps nothing bigput in my 32gb sdcard with some pics on 20-30customized my wallpaperthen i went into security to add a pin lockadded it then it started super lagging and freezing until it permanently frozeso i had to restart the tablet came on entered my pin and crashesi cannot get pass the lock screen and this all happened the same day it arrived at my house within 5hours

It doesn't take long to figure out that this tablet is worthless. I probably should have returned it within the 30 days allowed by Amazon but so far it has allowed me to listen to my Spotify account and watch streaming videos.Originally I purchased this product to use out of town and listen to music with a Bluetooth sound bar and picking up other wi-fi and/or blue tooth is a problem for this device. What is most frustrating to me is that I can't read Facebook, Twitter and/or do a search without the system crashing. And it's not just the browser it's other apps too. I especially hate the keypads ability to stay put. Usually I get to type a few letters before the keyboard disappears and it will take a bit before it shows up again. It's near impossible to make corrections to MyGoogle Drive documents. So if you are looking for a Social Media work horse this ain't it. If you want to put on a set of earphones and listen to music or watch a movie then you might want to give it a try.But once again, it will have to be from your home because other wi-fi locations or using blue tooth hasn't happened for me.
