I Love This Thing!
March 29, 2017
Works great! Solidly made and easily pressure-adjusted. My friend who installed it said it was easily done. He told me, and I read in the reviews, that to prevent dripping, I should turn off the shut-off valve after each use and I thought that would be a bother, but it's easy to do and easy to reach! I'm using it as a bidet and I love it!

I started with ordering one of these first and tried it for 5 months before ordering three more and installing it in all our toilets. This product, although a little pricey when compared to other products on amazon, is absolutely fantastic. The pipe is flexible which makes this product excellent. No need to drill holes in the wall to hand it, you can easily hang it on the side of the sink on a handle which is provided with the product. I am extremely satisfied with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality bidet. No to mention, the service that comes with buying online through amazon and Brondell, there was a minor leak in one of the heads and Brondell sent a replacement straight away. I am amazed with how good Amazon is with after sales service as they helped me facilitate a replacement with so much ease.
Keeping it clean....
February 25, 2015
As someone else commented, the idea of using something like this was a bit daunting the first time I saw one of these in Brazil many years ago. I was just a paper-based cleaner all my life and using bidet sprayer just seemed to be a non-starter. After many trips south and now our own condo there, I got used to it. After you try it, you may never go back to paper. So much more efficient, feels great and leaves you really clean.I went through a couple of cheapo plastic ones here in the US that tended to leak with a wide spray pattern. This dude is on target and very well constructed. It hooks up directly to your toilet tank water inlet with a shut off valve that has a nice and smooth action. It's easy to install and have not had any issues with leaking. There have been some complaints of leaking; you are suppose to turn the valve off at the tank inlet when not using. This is easy to reach and will prevent any risk of hose leakage that may cause extensive water damage.Depending on your water preasure, user comfort may vary and may require some tuning at the shut off valve. The bidet sprayer is made from stainless steal including the trigger. Trigger action is tight with no leakage. Overall, very solid and quality construction.
Operates exactly as expected

2013/10/19 - I installed this just over a week ago and the product is functioning perfectly. The instructions are adequate, but may seem be a bit confusing or incomplete if you don't take the time to read them through and understand where all the parts go before you start. You will need a flexible connection between the bottom of your flush tank and the wall valve. If you have a rigid tube, it will need to be replaced. Also, the instructions don't tell you to use Teflon tape on all threaded connections. I would recommend this to help avoid any leaks. This may very well have been the problem with those who complained about leaking and rusting. I secured the sprayer holster to the wall instead of using the tank clip and, although the holster is plastic, it seems to be solid and secure. I've found that you can control the spray pressure by adjusting the T-valve at the flush tank (the valve at the wall should be fully open). We have ours at just under half open. Otherwise, the water pressure will be just as strong as what goes into your flush tank. As far as temperature, the water is typically going to be as cold as your tap water, as they both come from the same water main.My wife loves this so much, she has asked that I install another in out second bathroom. I'm placing that order today.2013/11/11 - I purchased (on Oct 19) and installed the second and we are just as satisfied. We've experienced no leaks or other problems with either (so far). For those that have experienced leaking at the connections and for those that want to avoid the problem, I would suggest using the Teflon tape on all threaded connections. This item remains a five-star item for me.
Just right

Very easy to install!! Excellent quality. I've had these before where the handles broke and the head leaked and all kinds of things. These are just perfect. Bought 4. Installed one in each bathroom. Have had them for 4 months now. Very happy
Love the CleanSpa CSL-40 Hand Held Bidet
March 24, 2013
Have had other hand held Bidets before and this on is the best so far. Easy to use, nozzel fit on my (already there) wall mounting set up. Love the ease of installation and the longer hose. I'm especially pleased with the general comfort of using this unit as to water pressure selection; very easy to control the pressure yourself. I'm going to buy another one right away for the other bathroom. I thought this unit did a much better overall cleaning than past units I've owned.Note: If you ever have leakage at the nosepiece, this is how you can try to fix it.1. Turn off the water pressure (I found this out the hard way from past Bidets).2. Remove the nosepiece; it should only be hand tight.3. There is a black rubber washer that makes the seal. I did not remove mine however; it appears to me that it is a simple facet bib washer that can be found at your local hardware store.4. Probably, if you remove it and clean it with a soft rag it will continue to work properly. If you have lime build up you must soak it in lime away or something of that nature.5. Put it back together and it should work "good as new"Jim Long

Rose Gold in a bidet now I have seen everything. :)

A fabulous item so sleek looking, this is my fourth order. Everyone who visits me just wants one that is the only reason for the multiple purchases.
You can purchase separate parts if you don't want to hook this to your toilet and wish to hook it to the sink. The seller is very nice helpful and responsive really speedy responses to resolve any issues. Excellent customer service.
There's a how to video on youtube if you're hesitant
these bidets are like iPhones, sometimes I wonder how people get along without them?
I have the two types of bidets installed but this one is my favorite.
Great Christmas gift!
December 14, 2015
My wife asked me if I would consider a bidet as a Christmas gift. "Sure", I said. Well, she had already done some research and recommended this hand held model made by SmarterFresh. We have two bathrooms, so we ordered two. When they arrived, I decided to try the installation myself, which was amazingly easy, it turned out. It took about 5 minutes for each unit. Using the bidet takes a bit of practice with aiming and pressure adjustment, but once the learning curve is over, this thing works great. The instructions recommend turning the T-valve off after use to prevent possible leakage, and this process is my only small annoyance, but turning the valve on and off is very easy and is just a habit that we'll have to get used to. The construction and materials are of very high quality. Now, we just spray clean and pat dry with a bit of toilet paper. A life changing event, as all Christmases should be!
You'll never be satiated with cellulose-based hygiene again.
December 13, 2015
Let me preface this review by saying that after I got this, a proctologist complimented me on the cleanliness of my rear end. This review might be a bit wordy but I talk about all the details of owning one of these.

Like many Americans, I had taken my bathroom habits for granted. You sit, you do your business, you wipe and move merrily on your way. The more discerning among us might use baby wipes instead for greater comfort. I scoffed at the notion of a bidet. Then I got curious after I saw one when I was working inside someone's apartment and saw it firsthand.

A man who had travelled abroad to Southeast Asia sold me on it after vividly describing sensations of cleanliness heretofore unknown. After glancing at some cheaper, plastic models, I settled on this one. Experience has taught me that plastic can pick up smells despite the best of efforts.

Installation is a breeze, if you read the directions. There's a little assembly that connects to the bottom of a toilet tank, using the standardized connector found there. Your old hose connects to that. Hence, this will not work well with rigid (fixed) connections between the toilet supply valve and the tank.

The clip to hold the sprayer goes under the lid of your toilet tank. Now, in order to power our new friend we've got to turn the valve that we just installed on the underside of the tank from facing the floor to somewhere upward of that. This is your fine-grained control over the pressure coming out. I found nothing very objectionable about full pressure, but I could see why a person might want less.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE that the manufacturer leaves explicit instructions to turn off this valve whenever you're done using the toilet. The reason is that this assembly is not built to withstand pressure for any great length of time. It took a couple days of me forgetting, but I found a slow leak had developed. I remember reading this in the directions, so no points off from the sprayer.

Actually using the sprayer takes a little more getting used to. It wouldn't have killed them to include some pictures in their manual, but I suppose graphic imagery would have offended someone. I'm explaining for you because nobody did for me. You've got to make sure that the water jet is as close to perpendicular relative to your 'dark flower'. If you do this, the splash will end up nicely in the bowl. If you try to avoid putting your hands into the bowl, you'll achieve maybe one third to two fifths of a radian (30-72 degrees).

Imagine with me here. We're spraying some stuff we don't particularly enjoy off of ourselves. If it doesn't go into the bowl, and we're clogging the top, where could it go? Underneath the seat and away, friends. You'll be wiping down the area around your toilet, and that's no fun. So thusly equipped with some advice, you settle in for your first blast. I say blast, because at lower power settings you will need to still use toilet paper.

An easy back and forth and you're done. Keep a towel nearby for dabbing dry. Use toilet paper until you get it right, but then you can just throw the towel in the wash every few days. I've had mine for months and haven't looked back. It's a glorious thing. Get one today.
Best Butt Sprayer Evah
September 3, 2015
Considering the humble purpose of this product, it seems odd to say I love it -- but I really kinda do. For one, it does what it is supposed to do extremely well. It is light and compact, making it easy to point and maneuver, and the lever doesn't require a lot of hand strength. The water stream is comfortable but cleans very thoroughly. I was introduced to hand sprayers for toilet use while living in Sri Lanka. It was impossible to go back to toilet paper when I returned to the US, so I installed one sold by a different manufacturer. It worked fine for several years, till the innards eventually corroded. Between that unit and the variety of versions in Sri Lanka, I have a lot of experience with these. This one has given by far the best user experience. It is also the best looking, as the brushed stainless finish is more attractive than chrome or plastic. The plumbing fixtures seem very well made, and installation was fast and easy. My toilet already had a flexible feed line, and I am (so far) using the old unit's mounting bracket, so I didn't need any tools -- not even a pair of pliers. If you are in the market for a hand bidet, I strongly recommend this. If you aren't, well give one a try, and you will never go back to toilet paper.
Great product

Excellent value for money and easy installation. We are very pleased with this product! At first I was concerned because there is no temperature adjustment, but that's not be a problem at all.

Great value.
February 28, 2017
I needed and used this for a shower head I purchased,The price was great, cost less here than in the store.Wrapped it around the threads and no more leaks.
perfect for what I needed it for
May 22, 2016
I bought this tape to repair the power cord for my macbook air, and so far it's worked perfectly. The tape has been on for over a week so far and the end hasn't started unpeeling in the slightest. I think it will last for a long time, and it's saved me from buying a new cord. I also liked that the tape came in a nice round plastic case, which among other things prevents the edges from getting stuff stuck to them and getting dirty.
Nice and wide...and effective.
April 9, 2016
I had the thinner size before...and I bought this wider size by accident. It turns out, it was a great accident. It reduced the amount of times I had to wind the tape around by half, since I no longer had to wind diagonally to cover the entire surface of the thread.(Not for a very small surface)Maybe everyone else already knew that there is more than one size of plumbers tape, but it was news to me.Worked great on our shower head.
It's hard to go wrong with sealant tape
February 4, 2016
Well, it's sealant tape. You can't really go wrong with it. It worked as it was intended. Bought it to wrap around the thread of a hand held shower head that needed replacing. I should have prob went with a different size tape, because this was a tad too wide, but that's not an issue since you can either have a bit of tape showing, or push the tape down.I wrapped the threading about 4-5 times, and it sealed it perfectly. Not one drop leaking, and there's plenty of tape left over for the tool box!
great for stretching
August 12, 2015
If you're looking at this tape to use for stretching a piercing, you have found the perfect tape for a really small price. a few wraps of this a day and before you know it you're at the next size. the only bad thing about this tape is that it does not slide well in oral piercings, and its so incredibly thin it can be kind of frustrating to wrap around a piece of jewelry, but that can be a positive too because you're able to fine tune the size increase to an incredible degree.
Good quality tape
October 14, 2014
Does what it's meant to do!It's not too thick that you won't be able to screw the pieces together, and not too thin that it rips while using.

Installs quickly and works great. Don't try to take it apart because you'll never be able to put back together. I did that to clean it because after two years it drips a couple of drops after your shut it. I was able to put it together after an hour. It still works fine if you can live with a couple of drops of water.
Good product, but use care when installing
December 30, 2016
The CleanSpa doesn't come with or suggest using teflon plumbing tape and I was eager to install it, so I didn't use any. It leaked everywhere there's a screw fastening. I removed it and reinstalled after applying plumbing tape at every connection, but it still leaked from where it connects with the toilet box (I might have been hesitant to over-tighten as it connects to plastic). Not able to find the correct size beveled washer, I added a second thinner, more pliable flat washer and that did the trick.Of course, all this aggravation was avoidable had I used plumbing tape initially. That said, the product is very well constructed and works well. It should pay for itself in a year in reduced toilet paper usage. In addition to personal hygiene, it makes cleaning the toilet much easier.
Good quality
November 6, 2014
I bought three of these for the bathrooms in my home. I have no plumbing experience and was able to install them with little hassle (I ended up having to go out and get a flexible hose for my toilet since they didn't have them). I was worried that the trigger that you press to release the water would be flimsy but it isn't and seems very sturdy and not likely to break off. I have no issues with it leaking and we always make sure to release the pressure after turning it off. My only complaint is the handle. The kit comes with screws so you can attach the handle to the wall but the kit doesn't come with dry wall anchors so now I have to go out and find some that will fit the screw.
This bidet is great and does what it's supposed to
September 1, 2014
This bidet is great and does what it's supposed to. The sprayer itself is better than a previous model I bought three years ago (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001OIVDE4). It was harder to control the flow in the previous one: there was no way to push it halfway. The material looks great except for the inner portion of the sprayer which looks rusty. I wonder if mine was new or already used. It works perfectly now, but I'm going to see a few months down the line if leaks appear or not.
Good product
June 16, 2014
This Brondell sprayer is a good product so far. It was extremely easy to install, and even a novice could handle it with ease. The sprayer is easy to direct, and is not a hard spray that could hurt! The negatives are that you MUST turn off the sprayer at the bottom of the toilet tank after each use. The instructions claim that leaving it on will weaken the sprayer, and can cause severe flooding. I did accidentally leave it on for about 15 minutes, and the spray head did drip. I am not sure if this was residual water or an actual problem with the spray head. Regardless, I am going to purchase another of these for my cottage. The inconvenience of turning it off is a small price to pay, as it works very well and was easy to install.
Love the bidet
January 1, 2014
I absolutely love the bidet. No, it is not heated. I wasn't spending the money for a heated one, but I really don't mind the cold water. The hose and handle itself seem very sturdy. Some people have complained of leaks, but I haven't had any problems for leaks and we've had this installed for several months. However, I always use plumbers tape (directions say it's optional) on any threaded plumbing projects and I did need to use a wrench to get the nuts tight enough. Installation was easy enough and the direction were pretty straight forward. The only complaint I have is the handle holder is poorly designed and does not hold the handle well. Rather than the handle sitting down in the holder, the holder is only big enough for the hose, so the handle kind of flops around and frequently falls out of the holder. I'm trying to figure out how to rig up something better.

Power Washed my Colon!
August 17, 2017
This ass blaster is fabulous! It is very easy to hook up and use. My only complaint is that the turnoff lever is down under the bowl so it's a pain to reach. I bought an adapter with an on/off lever for $8 and screwed it onto the handle portion. Works great! Warning- The water does come out like a geyser if you open the valve completely. Try it in the toilet first, unless you desire a high colonic. Which is fine, no judgment there. ;P
Sprung a leak in the hose after a year
August 12, 2017
A bit pricy, but build quality is premium. Instructions were clear and installation was easy.

One year later: After using it for over a year the hose suddenly developed a leak slightly below where it connects to the sprayer. The sprayer and T-joint themselves are fine. SmarterFresh sells replacement T-Joints and sprayers but not the hose. I can't find a replacement hose for this. Buying a completely new bidet is too costly IMO.

Edit: What a great customer service experience. I reached out to smarterfresh through their storefront website with my issue and the owner himself replied back. He sent me a replacement hose free of charge. Now the bidet is like brand new! 10 out of 10 for experience and customer service.
workable
December 30, 2016
its pretty powerful! there a level to adjust the powerful part which is a big plus. the level also can be turn to the off position. which is nice!

the handle part is smaller then what i expected.

my only gripe was the shipping. they give about a two week time frame for it to arrive. and i have Prime, which doesn't seem to make a difference for people living in Alaska. i sat there and waited and waited until the company decided to put this in the mail. they waited until the last possible moment, and i ran out of time waiting for it. i had to fly out, so this item sat at the post office for two months. by the time i got home, and had my handyman put it together, it was past the time of return.

its a good thing, its nice quality, because i'm now stuck with it. :-)

the handle is smaller then what i would of preferred. but. its liveable.
Good quality. Minor issues with the design.
August 9, 2016
This is a nice product, but there are better designs out there like the Aquaus 360. There are a couple of screws required for the mount which slowed down the assembly. With hand tightening the nuts there were still some leaks, so I had to use a channel lock to tighten the fittings. Also once we try to take the head off the mount it sticks a little bit. We are mounting on the tank itself. It's just little things, but still...We have had it for two weeks now and it's working okay.
Great product but...
February 6, 2016
Great product! Wife and I bought this to use in conjunction with cloth diapering our son. We use bamboo sheets to catch most of his solid waste but sometimes it gets crazy and you need to spray off the diaper and cover. This works much better than the kitchen sink. 😜 And the pressure and spray is sufficient enough to get the job done.Love that is has an all metal construction. Makes it feel more sturdy and that it will last longer. Oddly there was only one plastic part. The little knob that holds the sprayer to the wall or to the toilet. Not bad tho. Isn't a critical component to the product working. The only reason I left a 4 star instead of a 5 is I had to go buy an additional part. My existing hose that lead to the toilet had a longer threading than the adapter that came with the product. I couldn't tighten it as much as I needed to in order to prevent leaking. Luckily I was able to find a hose with a slightly shorter threading to get the job done but I wouldn't be surprised if more people have this issue. Almost all the hose threadings in the hardware store where too long. I feel lucky that I found one that worked. Keep an eye out for that when purchasing!

been using this stuff like crazy working on the pool this summer
June 24, 2016
been using this stuff like crazy working on the pool this summer. I wish it was easier to tear however and did not shred and wrinkle up as soon as you tried to cut or tear it. Otherwise it works great, stopped my leaky air compressor fittings and sealed my pool fittings quite well.
It works as it should!
June 20, 2016
I have used this tape on a few plumbing projects ranging from two shower head replacements and a couple of water supply line hook ups. I am very pleased with the results. My only complaint is the tape will fold over onto itself very easily when trying to wrap onto the threads, so just take your time. Other than that, this is a great addition to your plumbing tool kit.
Works well
June 28, 2015
Not a whole lot to say. If you need pipe tape to seal things like your shower head, this is that. It seems to work well. With the semi-flimsy reel it's on and the natural properties of sealant tape, I found it easy to get it tangled up, but that's the only real nit-pick. This isn't some big purchase, it's just the tape you need and it does its job.
get the 1/2 inch tape instead
March 24, 2015
Works well. The first time I only wrapped it around the threads 3 times and there was a single drop leaking from it every 5-7 seconds. The next time I wrapped it 6 times around and got a perfect seal with not a single drop leaking. The tape can be ripped with hands. Be sure to push the tape down around the threads with your thumb before attempting to connect the shower head. Also, clean the threads on the pipe of any previous residue before applying tape for the best results.Only gripe is that I bought this because it was the recommended one. Not knowing anything about sealant tape at the time, I ordered it. When I received the item I did some reading saying 1/2 inch tape is the best size. After using it I discovered this to be true. Half inch tape would have been more than enough. The 3/4 inch tape works the same, but leaves a lot of unused white tape visible on the pipe.
It does what it's intended to do alright.
January 15, 2015
It's okay. It does the job. It IS very thin, so cutting each piece you'll use with a small pair of scissors is highly recommended. Having worked as a plumber for some years back in the late 1970's the tape we used was a bit thicker and never once did we cut it. it did have stretch to it, but all you had to do with that pretty much was pull it tight and yank it. Try that stunt with this gauge of tape and I think you'll find that you're going to need the more than ample supply provided. the description DOES read "Industrial," so having not worked in the trade for so long I won't attempt to call this one. It IS also on the thick side measuring side to side. For shower head installation let's say, it might be a bit much. I don't know. Improvise. It does the job won't break the bank you MIGHT find Sealant Tape at the 99 Cents Only Store, but I needed it TODAY. So...
I should have tried this a long time ago!
March 30, 2014
Yep… there’s a difference in tape but I had to be convinced. I thought no matter what brand or thickness I purchased it was just wrapping more around the threads would do it. I’m not a plumber but I do buy homes, live in them for 2-years, make all required repairs/improvements and then see it. Seems every house needed major plumbing work so I just purchased the cheapest 10-packs of Teflon tape I could find and kept wrapping tape until the leak stopped… or changed out the fittings. The added thickness to this tape makes for a better seal but it does not tear off easily. I’m happy with it but had to go with 4-stars because of the difficulty in tearing it off and the ragged end that is left. If you’re prone to cutting it with scissors then it’s a 5-star item. I think it is much better for metal threads because they tend to cut away the tape more when threading fittings together.

Great product but needs to improve on the quality
March 26, 2015
I purchased 2 of them. As soon as I installed them, the first one worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, the second one leaked from the nozzle. I contacted Brondell and they sent a replacement out within a few days. I'm not sure about the durability of these sprays, but time will tell. Brondell if your looking at this review, your products are great, but need to be quality tested before you send them out.
Looks good and works well. As long as you have some real plumbing skills it is not that bad of a buy.
February 1, 2015
Like many other reviews, this product leaked immediately upon installation. The leak was very small, originating in two locations on the head (the threads for the nozzle tip and the tip of the spray nozzle itself). The company was very helpful providing me with a full head replacement even though I had only asked for replacement seals. Unfortunately the new head was faulty also, containing a pinhole leak in the weld between the handle and the nozzle. I used the seals from the new head and the body from the old head to make the unit work. I am very happy with the outcome, and with a little epoxy and 50 cents of rubber seals from the plumbing supply store, I will have two working spray heads.Overall, I think that the quality of the parts are actually fairly good despite the opinions of other customers. The real issue is the engineering. Hopefully once they run out of this run of parts the product will improve.Either way, if you are interested in a very good looking bidet, with a great valve and nice looking handle, and have a moderate amount of plumbing skills, you can make this unit work for you.I have had no issues with the hose yet, so I can't speak to that aspect of the part. But you can pick up a higher quality, cheap replacement if you are worried about it.
Good Spray, Modern and Sturdy Design, Leak Problem!
July 17, 2014
I purchased three of these hand held bidets for my house. I have only installed one of the so far, but the one bidet that I installed leaks very slowly at the end of the bidet. I have noticed that if I keep tightening the end of the bidet it help to temporarily stop the leak. I was wondering if the seller would have a solution for this issue. Please feel free to contact me! Thank you!
Works fine but may leak
June 26, 2014
I installed this on our toilet after renovating the bathroom. Installation is pretty easy and can be done by anyone who can follow instructions well. You can install the holder on the wall or on bowl. It sprays water fine and having the release button/trigger on the handle itself is very convenient. It does have the tendency to leak if you don't turn off the valve. The spray button doesn't close the head tightly if you just release it and causes water to leak from the shower head. We have since learned to pull the trigger back after each use. This completely closes the head and prevents any leak even when we forget to turn off the valve.
The warning reviews are true....

It's true, this product leaks at the bottom of the sprayer. Every other connection works great- no leaks. But the last connection where the sprayer connects to the hose, leaks horribly. I've used Teflon Tape for the connection and it still doesn't seal it good enough. It seems like the seal from the hose part, doesn't even reach the sprayer part to seal it. You can feel it moving. I tried calling their customer service and they're not open on the weekend. I'm thinking maybe that it's missing a part to help that seal better. If it's not fixed, then I'm going to return it. If anybody else has any advice that'd be great because it seems like a great product, it just leaks in that one spot. I'll update this if I find a fix. ****UPDATE - 01-19-2014*** - I just went to Menards and bought a new chrome flexible hose (in the shower head aisle) for like $14 and used that, and it works perfectly now. No leaks. It sucks that I had to spend more money on it. I'll be calling Brondell about this to see if I can get reimnbursed. But at this point I really just don't care. I'm glad that it works now. I've changed it to 3 stars since, when it works properly, it works well.

This required us to put on a flexible hose onto our toilet water supply - it had had a fixed pipe. The plumber fitted the spa hose easily after that was done -however it was defective and began to pour water all over the floor after the first couple of days. It does need to be turned off between uses (or perhaps this is because it was defective) and it worked well for the day or two that it was functioning. i think if it was not faulty It would have had 4 or 5 stars as is a quick easy and inexpensive way to add a bidet hose to a standard shaped toilet suite. Of course it is cold water only but that is not too bad!

it wouldn't stop leaking from the connection of the hose to the sprayer
August 13, 2017
Installation day: it wouldn't stop leaking from the connection of the hose to the sprayer. Applied a lot of Teflon Tape trying to solve the problem, but there was no way to stop it from leaking. Put it back on the box to return it next business day. Thinking of buying straight from Home Depot.Update. Company contacted me right away to solve the problem and sent a replacement. I will be posting my second experience with the Bidet once I receive it and install it. I did give them a second chance because the Bidet looks pretty
The head will fail under consistent pressure.
June 20, 2017
Eventually leaked (full stream), my fault entirely for forgetting to close the valve. Result: It ran for 3 hours and I came home to swamp in my house. Need to figure out today if it's an O-Ring failure or if I need to order another one. Note, the failure is in the head, the valve has been holding strong for a long time. So, keep in mind if you buy this, the head will fail under constant pressure. No "if" about it.
Couldn't use on my new toilet
April 6, 2017
Beware if you have a one piece toilet. You may not be able to install this depending on what your set up is. If installed the way it says in the instructions the turn on/off switch would have to be inside the toilet base. It would be about impossible to do this while using the toilet and very inconvenient.

I just installed the product and it works okay so far. One drawback is that the screws provided with the holder donot fit the holder and are much larger than the holes on the holder.
Poor Man's Bidet
March 11, 2016
Works OK. That's about it. If you are on a budget, it's just fine. However the potty mount is inconvenient and flimsy, as opposed to the wall mounts I used in other countries. We are late in coming to Bidets, as we are on so many other products, and hence tend to buy cheap, cheap, cheap. Want real quality? Spend more, as I will do for a Bidet in my other bathroom.
Great product but READ THE FINE PRINT.
September 27, 2015
Great, quality product with a simple 5 minute installation. From a form and function standpoint, this one wins the best-in-class award. Everything from the adjustable pressure to the sleek appearance and quality of its construction seems top notch.THAT SAID... read the fine print closely. At the end of the instructions (the section that most people will disregard or skim over) is some critically important fine print. It states that you must reach under the toilet and turn off the water source to the bidet EVERY TIME that you use it. Failure to do so will cause the bidet's hardware to prematurely fail and FLOOD YOUR HOUSE--releasing the manufacturer from liability. Now I gotta ask... who really wants to fiddle with the supply switch to the bidet every time they use it--both before and after. In my opinion, if the hardware requires constant toggling of the supply, then the hardware should be improved such that this is a non-issue. It is truly an inconvenience. If you are a guest that is using this thing, it becomes less than intuitive to operate. This is a significant flaw that would otherwise make this a 5 star product.

What a pain in the ass this was to use. I've used pipe tape before, but this had no tackiness to it that I expected, and was always a struggle getting a tight wrap going. Next time I will get off my chair and go to Home Depot to be sure of what I'm buying.

It leaks. Beware.
February 17, 2016
Just received it yesterday. Installed it today. I used PTFE thread tape at all junctions, but it leaks at the head. It is a design flaw...or its the use of cheap parts. While the housing is steel and appears to be of high quality, where it matters most (or a lot, at least), cheap parts were used. I am referring to the actual head of the sprayer. It needs another washer in between the two black parts to prevent water pressure from pushing water through when handle is in closed position and leaking. So you are required to turn the main shut off valve off. Which is fine, but the problem is the volume of leaking when you turn the shut off valve to the on position. This is while the sprayer handle is still off. It leaks a lot. This is very dissatisfying. And appears to be a simple fix that the company could have taken care of itself. I will try to get a washer and fix it myself. If not, I am returning both pieces that I bought. Beware, this think leaks. I am not sure if it is because of my water pressure, but even when I turn the main valve to decrease water pressure, it still leaks. Not a very usable product. For the price of the product, this should have been addressed.
Works great for a year
November 22, 2015
Mine worked great for a year and then started leaking from around the handle area. The leak seems to be from the hose (I changed the washer in the handle and didn't help). Interesting that it broke right when the 1 year limited warranty was over. I guess the lifespan is only a year...
Leaked from the first minute!
July 24, 2015
Just installed it and it started leaking from the head from the very start. Instructions say to shut off the valve after every use, but this is very impractical to remember every time and also to tell guests who use the bathroom. Other than that, the feel of the product seems good. Wish it worked properly. Will return.
Waste of money.
June 26, 2015
I purchased 7 of these and the handles were leaking on 3 of them upon arrival. I e-mailed the one I purchased from who forwarded me Brondell's number to call. I've called multiple times and left two voice mails but no one has called me back nor provided any support. At that percentage, it's not worth the risk to buy these. Waste of money.
Product has potential to be great, but the leakage issue has to be fixed
March 13, 2015
I got this bidet after doing some research and I had hoped for it to be everything I was looking for. The good aspects of this are :- Great design- Easy installation- Pressure from the head is absolutely fine- The trigger mechanism is solid and feels goodThe bad aspect :- It leaks a lot! After 30 days of perfectly normal use , it started leaking from the head. It was a few drops at first and then turned into a steady stream of drops. We tried fixing the rubber o ring. That fixed it for a few days and the leaks started again. No amount of vaseline could stop the issue.I have asked for an RMA and am hoping that a replacement would be working properly. I am upset because the product is good but the leakage issue is a real deal breaker.
Drip, drip, drip....
December 31, 2014
After installation, found a puddle under the hose. It leaks from the head. Used plumber's tape on all connections as recommended in the Q&A's but head still leaks. I need to turn off the valve each time to stop the leak. Expected better for the price.

May 27, 2016
Looks like the product is a solid build but was disappointing. Head leaks so you have to pul the level just right to stop the water flow. Has rough edges on the lever where I was expecting it to be smooth. The only two things out of the box that I ended up using were the T connector and the pipe, with my old hand held head.

May 6, 2016
This product came with a defective hose and defective spray head. The hose leaked, and we had to order a replacement. Then we realized that the spray head also leaked when the valve to permit flow of water to the bidet was left on.The new bidet came and had totally diferent parts (aesthetically) than the last one?? This could be a classic case of "Made in China." The tank clip also doesnt fit well on our toilet.
keep in mind that the water hitting your dear hiny will be super cold.
May 2, 2016
I've the valve OFF the entire time now as it drips if I leave it ON .....its been this way from day 1 but I'as too lazy to unhook this apparatus and now I'm outside the return window so it stays put.....oh & btw...keep in mind that the water hitting your dear hiny will be super cold...didn't think of that...quite the realization at 4:00 in the morning!
so disappointed.
April 26, 2016
the thing it worked well for the first 3 months. but then it is leaking too much water from the spray openings and at the base of the handle. you need to keep the t connector shut off always and if you forget to close it for few minutes it fills your bathroom with water. I tried to find where to get replacement parts as the one year warranty not finished yet but could not find it any where at Amazon web site. so disappointed.

Hard to use with small screws
October 13, 2016
For my uses the tape was not too helpful. In order to keep the pivot on my folding knives from coming loose I tried using some of the tape to help tighten up the threading between the screw and female pivot end. Since the tape is so wide compared to the small screws it was difficult to wrap the tape around the screw without using too much of it. I was able to use it on two different pivots successfully. If the tape wasn't as wide it might work out better for my applications. If you use this with a longer screw it should work fine.
I'm sure for its other uses it works fine
September 23, 2016
I purchased this to stretch my ears further and it was wholly unsuccessful. I know that's not the purpose it's intended for initially but that was my experience with it. I'm sure for its other uses it works fine
A Little Too Wide

Started to leak after a few drops

Terrible product.
March 19, 2015
Terrible product and customer service. I bought several of these. One hose burst on me, good thing I was home when it did. The nozzles evenually drip and drip. I called customer service they retorted that you are suppose to turn off the water after every use and then you won't have any problems. Well, no sh*t! If I turn off the water to everything after each use I would never have a leak on anything! Much better products out there and much cheaper.Btw, the T-adapter leaks too.
I bought 2 of these based on good reviews. I did see some avg or not ...
November 19, 2014
I got this because my wife wanted something that looked high end and not the average plastic looking stuff. We had used the avg stuff for years with no major hassle. I bought 2 of these based on good reviews. I did see some avg or not so good reviews but went with the overall star rating. I did not install them immediately after the purchase. When it was installed by a professional handyman, it worked fine for 3 weeks. Then one of them started to leak. Interestingly, the one with frequent use still works fine. The leak came from the metallic pipe and you cannot see exactly where its leaking. Apparantly this is a common issue with this type of bidet. Some people have recommended replacing the pipe. I will go and see if a replacement is available. Did not expect this bad quality for this price. Stay away from it !
Worst product I ever bought
September 27, 2014
Less than a year and the outer tube got damaged along with inner tube. It flooded the living room and the basement. I have to pay heavy for repairing the damages. As I can see the inner tube now, it seems like a very cheap material. Outer tube also has rust signs on multiple places. Worst product I ever bought !!!!!
started to leak causing damage
September 1, 2014
Less than a year after installing this it has started to leak and flooded our bathroom. It appears to be from the hose or the connector. It was installed in the guest bathroom so it didn't get that much use. The cheaper one we bought with a plastic hose has still been working 3 years +
3 MAJOR issues
June 24, 2014
I'll start by saying that the spray head is good quality. It goes downhill from there.Issue #1: The instructions recommend turning off the valve (mounted where the water supply connects to the toilet tank) when not in use as keeping the sprayer under pressure can "weaken" it. This is rather inconvenient, and difficult to remember every time.Issue #2: The included holster is cheap plastic, and it grips the washer on the spray head such that it takes 2 hands to remove it, one to hold the holster and one to remove the sprayer, else you risk breaking the holster or clip.Issue #3: More of an issue with this style of sprayer - it can be rather difficult to control the spray - if your aim is too low, you'll be cleaning up a small flood on your floor. Can't recommend this product on any level.

Not too happy
November 2, 2017
I received this item on sept 28 and installed it like two weeks later due to time restrain. Today is is Nove 2nd and withe less than a month of use the head broke off. Cheaply made? Or maybe just. Lemon? All I know is that now I am outside of the return period with $50 down the toilet
Leaks galore. Awkward shutoff valve position.
September 25, 2017
This is ok if you have extra washers handy, and you will need those extra washers just about in every connection of the T and even at the handle end (I had to use an o-ring for the hose handle). The shutoff valve is also at the wrong side. If you don't believe me, just look at the product picture of the bidet, specifically the picture which shows it installed. If you want the hose to face out of the side of the toilet bowl, the shut off lever will be at the back side of the toilet, towards the wall. If you want the shutoff valve easily accessible to the front, the hose will be positioned towards the side of the toilet, not outside of it.

March 9, 2017
I can't get the water to come out of the sprayer consistently. Sometimes it works great, but most of the time I have to unscrew it and blow inside it and screw it back to make it work. Other times, I have to unscrew it just a little bit but then it will cause it to leak. The cheaper plastic model (different model completely) I bought for my mom works so much better. I bought this stainless steel one and it's not good at all.
Poor Design
January 1, 2017
The head piece is too heavy, falls off the holder often and I'm afraid that it'll crack the floor tile. I've tried adjusting it multiple ways without luck. I'll go back to the previous brand that lasted me for 10+ years. I liked the look of it, but disappointing performance.
Do not buy....piece of junk
December 17, 2016
This is a real piece of junk, that's not worth a fraction of its price, been a problem since day leak after leak and almost cost damaging my house , the valve has been replace one the hose twice and they claim it new and improved but still leaks again in the same spot close to the handle ...is your house worth the risk and yes it looks good but it won't last

Do not buy it if it is from Amandami!
November 9, 2017
Do not buy from amandami. They sent a cheap, unusable knock off. The plastic wheel was thin and sharp. It was not Dixon. The tape was unusable. We have a plumbing shop. We know tape. We sent it back for a refund and had to drop it off at a UPS site, which was a pain.
