Side by Side Comparison of: Invacare vs Pronto

Bought for someone who had another version of Pronto that finally broke down. Installing was very easy took less than 10 minutes to get it all done. Works perfectly. Has great speed and can maneuver easily within a small apartment.

just received invacare p31 assembly was easy took it around shop for test drive found it to be very responsive and easy to control as a mechanic i can tell you this piece of equipment is very well built well worth the purchase price.

Invacare Pronto P31 Power Wheelchair BlueDue to an unexpected situation, I needed the chair sooner than the estimated delivery date. Through Amazon, I contacted the company, Phillips Health Care, which responded immediately, and, at no extra expense, the chair arrived within a couple of days. After a little struggle putting it together properly, the chair is now being used by my granddaughter, who is extremely pleased that she will not have to start high school in a push chair. (Her custom power chair stopped working very recently and it will be months before her new one is ready). She is small but the chair is adjustable and, except for the footplate that does not raise enough, she fits better than I had expected. My husband and my daughter tried it out and, with the available adjustments, this chair comfortably accommodated them as well. This wheelchair is just what my granddaughter needs right now and the customer care provided by Phillips Health Care was outstanding.

Mom has used her chair for about a year and she loves it.

well built and well designed. it does just what i needed it to do.

My 94 year old father has a little trouble driving it because the small turn radius causes the back to swivel the opposite way you mean to turn--which was confusing to him. He also tended to want to make it go faster than he should.At the assisted living place where he stays, residents must get checked out and get permission to drive motorized chairs & scooters in public areas as there have been lawsuits due to people residents into others. This is a powerful, heavy piece of equipment that needs to be driven with care.Nevertheless, for someone who doesn't have problems learning new things, this chair is a fantastic deal and fun to drive. I highly recommend it.

chair goes beyond my expectations!!!!!

Great little chair. My 85 yr old mother(165#) is now able to get around her entire floor at the facility without waiting for an aid to wheel her. Easy to learn to use. I suggest you get PT in for a couple visits to help. Medicare did not pay for the chair but they paid for the PT. At this amazing price we didn't bother to jump through their hoops!

Chair works very well. Was looking for a chair to take when I go out, however, this one is way too heavy for that. This is really the only complaint I have with it. It's very heavy!

battery life seems poor. Manufacturer does not respond to inquiries regarding warranty. Be careful! ,

I thought it would be lighter and easier to travel with.Price was good though and I got my money's worth .The Family Medical Mobility people tried to get my chair on time, but the warehouse they used that sells the chair REALLY, REALLY were very slow with delivery & several delivery dates came & went. Worked with Fred at F.M.M.to finally get it here.

Too hard to steer versus a mid-wheel unit which I previously owned. The good thing was the price, which was only $999.99.

THIS WHEELCHAIR STARTS OFF BY ITSELF WITH NO ONE IN IT AND WHEN DRIVING IT AND TAKING ONE'S HANDS OFF THE CONTOLS IT KEEPS ON RUNNING. ONE MUST MANUALLY MOVE THE JOY STICK TO NEUTRAL TO GET IT STOPPED. INVACARE THERE NOTHING WRONG WITH MY CHAIR AND REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING, AMAZON CLAIMS THEIR A-Z IS GOOD ONLY 30 DAYS FROM PURCHASE--I BOUGHT 16 WEEKS AGO.
