Does what it should, and does it well.
May 30, 2017
Yes Yes! This is what you want if you want your soap to last longer. It passed my 'Lava' test. It's been over a week and the soap has never once gotten 'creamy' and begun to lose shape from holding too much water. Much better than a fancier looking one I tried first. It may not look as fancy as others, but I can't fault for this for doing what is promised and doing it very well.Whatever water accumulates in the soap dish is not very soapy. In fact, it's not soapy enough to 'steal' a handwashing out of. So that tells me soap is being saved nicely and indeed it's mostly water that's being allowed on through.I have rinsed it once in two weeks, and that wasn't even necessary.Well done. My search is over.
Just buy them!
March 27, 2017
I have 2 of this type that I bought years ago. Still using & look as good as the day I bought them.I've looked & looked & looked for these because I needed 3 more (exact number in the package) but could not find them in any brick & mortar store.I finally thought to look on Amazon, duh!!These work great, super easy to clean & will last for many many years. Go ahead & try them, they are not expensive & you won't be disappointed.
Soap Saver FOR REAL!
September 15, 2016
Soap Saver FOR REAL! My shower rack is made of wires and the gaps are about 1/2" wide so the bar soap was constantly sliding around and falling through the cracks. I know, really not THAT BIG of an issue, but the same thing happening every single day was driving me crazy! I'm so glad I found these...not only does it keep the bar soap in place, there are holes on the bottom so it drains the water (my other shower has a traditional wall mounted tile soap holder where the water is able to pool under the bar soap and turn it into a giant, squishy, wet marshmallow). The draining and teeth lifting the soap away from the surface also prevents that gunky mess from building up everywhere. And if you like a little bit of texture, the teeth of the soap saver creates small grooves in the soap (not really that noticeable and it washes away pretty quickly because it's not that deep...but a fun little detail).I would definitely recommend this to all bar soap users!
Un-drained and Drained Soap Savers... Discover the Difference
September 12, 2016
There are two basic kinds of soap savers: un-drained and drained. We use un-drained soap savers (like this one) alongside sinks in order to give a wet bar of soap a nice place to get dried out. However, we use drained soap savers like the Interdesign 30103 in showers and baths where you would expect splashed water would otherwise fill up an un-drained soap saver and leave your bar of soap sitting in a puddle. It's the least thing we can do for our slippery little friends.
A Must Have For the Bathroom and Kitchen Sink
April 12, 2016
These are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST little soap dishes to keep your soap dry when it's not being used. I can double the life of a bar of soap by the bathroom sink or in the shower, and the soap doesn't melt into a big mess either! One of these little soap dishes more than pays for itself in 6 months, and the clear pliable plastic construction makes it easy to keep clean also. I've owned these before and can honestly say they never break and they never wear out, I just lose them in the shuffle of moving from apartment to apartment.
Doesn't slip off tub surface
July 26, 2011
After researching all the fancy type of soap holders i decided on 2 major features.1) The holder should allow water to drain away from the soap.2) The holder should be small enough to fit in one of the top corners of the tub and leave room for some of my shampoos.I wasn't looking for something that hangs of my shower head, didn't want mount something into the tile or get a metal piece that will rust. This was the best blend of features. its also transparent and should match most tub, tile and soap color pallets. It is a bit pricey for just a piece of prickly, transparent rubber. But It does look nice in my tub.

Perfect for my shower door
June 21, 2017
Perfect for my shower door. Strong suction cup so I just leave it mounted in my shower by the door and use it to wipe down the door after my shower, so the door doesn't have all the water spots and built up soap scum. Perfect!
I use it to squeegee my glass shower doors after I shower
April 26, 2017
I like this product. I use it to squeegee my glass shower doors after I shower. It has a suction cup so it can stick to the glass doors for storage. Small enough to not be a problem but wide enough to clean a shower door in four swipes.
SQUEE! GEE, this is a Great Product!
March 13, 2017
Water spots I've learned, are one of the quickest ways to make a nice, new shower look grubby and unkempt. Though I'm fortunate to live in an area where the water is neither too hard, nor too soft, we'll still end up with staining if post-shower droplets aren’t addressed with at least some rapidity. As I'm a guy, it still astounds my wife that I take the time to squeegee our shower after every use... but I figure before it turns into one of Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs, I'd rather take care of it on the front end!I purchased this product five and a half years ago, and as of the date of this review, it's still going strong. The 10" silicone blade remains in really good shape, and I haven't engaged in any special care beyond hanging it up after every use. The included suction hook works really well, and hasn't once separated or slipped from our acrylic shower pan; though it's still easy enough to remove and reapply should the occasion arise. For best results and a streak free shine, I recommend cleaning glass and surfaces slowly from top to bottom without applying too much pressure. There’s a chance you may still need to towel off the last little bit of moisture here and there, but all told, this product serves its purpose really well. And now that I've written passionately and at length about a bathroom squeegee, I feel compelled to go outside and do something manly... like dig a hole, or barbeque. Or both. Luau Pig, anyone?Feel free to leave me a comment or question, I’m happy to add anything else you’d like to know about the product. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, hopefully this information was useful!
Awesome Squeegee
February 9, 2017
Works well. High quality blade. I tried many, many others and ended up returning them. I had given up hope of finding a good one when I ran across this. The blade is very pliable and flexible. All the other squeegees had hard rubber blades that would not conform to the surface and would leave streaks. The handle is small and close to the blade so when using it (top to bottom of shower doors), the water you are squeegeeing off runs onto your hand. Not necessarily a big deal. I ended up getting the other OXO squeege with the longer handle and put this in my car to use when my back windshield has dew or rain (so I can see when backing out of my driveway).
Limited use, but good at its job
May 18, 2016
Ideal for showers and mirrors if used frequently. If you have tough water spots, this probably will need to be supplemented by some scrubbing with a towel. I like it because I normally scrub anyway and the towel leaves fuzzies on the mirror. This will get the fuzzies and prevent the water spots in the first place. Neat! The scraper edge itself is a silicone material, so it's durable but very soft and won't get some really stuck on things, the way a normal rubber squegee can scrape bugs off a windshield. As long as you expect to use this for light duty to accelerate wet cleanup on smooth surfaces, I think it's a great addition to a kitchen or bathroom. It appears to be solidly built from lasting materials - should be serviceable for years.
excellent squeegee for the shower
March 23, 2016
We use this squeegee on the tile walls and glass door of our shower and it does a fantastic job.The blade has the right shape to allow wiping the entire tile surface right into corners. The blade is strong yet compliant because of the silicone edge, and it's much quieter to use than our old squeegee that did not have the silicone edge. The suction squeegee holder is also excellent. It is large enough that it stays stuck to the tile without dropping off all the time.Highly recommended.

Better with the right soap
September 15, 2017
This is a good useful product, the idea being to allow a soap bar to dry out between uses and not get mushy. It doesn't work as well with Dove soap which is my application as Dove clogs the drain holes but should be better with a dryer soap. It could be improved with larger drain holes and perhaps longer pins. Dove also doesn't work with the woven plastic holders. I'm still looking for something that works.
Works Great, Not a 100% Clear Color
September 12, 2017
It's great that these are offered in more than just the basic oval, but tall three have a purplish tinge that is very noticeable next to white soap. I noticed the same odd hue at a big bed and bath store, and was hoping that what I saw was defective merchandise on the shelf. That said, something has changed with the manufacturing of these that makes them not 100% color-free.
Good price, Not bad to use
May 9, 2017
These are basic soap holders that do their job as long as there's no water flow around them. For example, the ones that contain my soap and my husband's soap keep the soap relatively dry. But my son's soap is always mushy on the bottom because he apparently sprays water EVERYWHERE. Also, while the nubby bits keep the soap in place fairly well, it also seems to depend on the soap. My soap and my son's soap stay on well (his might stay on well because its so mushy), but my husband uses (dove or ivory, i can't remember), and that soap seems to fall off the dish a lot. If the rims were a little higher, this would be prevented. In all, I was able to buy these three for the same price as one similar one in the Container Store, so I am happy with the purchase.
Great for solid shampoos and soaps
September 11, 2016
I use these to store my variety of solid shampoos, conditioners, and soaps in the shower. I'm allergic to basically all shampoos I can find in the drugstore, so I stick to Lush products for my hair. While the products are great, they can also be a pain to store. Lush will happily sell you these little metal tins in which to store your shampoo, but they are solid and on more than one occasion I've simply melted a whole bar of shampoo by not realizing water and splashed into the tin and was dissolving the product.I purchased these for several reasons and was pleased to find they lived up to all of my expectations. First, the little nubs raise the soap (in my case, shampoo) off the surface of the bath or shower caddy, so it can't form an air-tight seal and become difficult to dislodge. Second, the drainage holes prevent my expensive shampoo bars from sitting around in a puddle of wetness and dissolving. Third, the stain-resistant surface makes these easy to clean and they don't seem to generate icky mold.I use all three of these wedged in next to each other on a tier of my shower caddy and store all of my solid, non-bottled products on it. It may be an unconventional usage, but they keep my soaps and shampoos fresher and lasting longer.
Does it's job but the wavy one doesn't always stay in place
May 20, 2016
I just lay this Soap Saver on top of the ceramic soap dish and it does keep the bar of soap out of the water that gets collected on the ceramic soap. However, the Soap Saver tends to move around a lot due to the wavy design -- i.e. it doesn't have a flat bottom/top and so it doesn't properly sit flat. This Soap Saver tends to fall of the soap dish some of the time. And the bar of soap itself only stays put if it is centered correctly on the wavy curves.
Get more life out of a bar of soap
November 1, 2011
This simple design works for keeping a bar of soap from getting mushy and works nicely as a dish sponge holder. For soaps, it works great on the vanity counter where the soap does not get as wet. In the shower, the shelf where my soap holder sits on gets pretty wet. When the wet soap dries, soap does get stuck on the prongs. But it does extend the life. These holders do have a strong plastic-y smell which has not gone away after a month of use.

One works great, stays put in the shower
September 13, 2017
Bought 2 of them. One works great, stays put in the shower, squeegee works great, but the other one will not stay up in the guest shower for some reason. Have tried everything we can think of. The squeegee itself works well, just won't stay up. Overall, happy with purchase.
Good squeegee for the shower
July 11, 2017
I put this squeegee up in my shower to clean my glass doors and it works great. The suction wall mount falls off the wall once in a blue moon but you just stick it back on again, so it's not a big deal. I also like the size which seems just right and doesn't take up too much space or look too big in the shower.
Handy and well-made except for the really thin rubber part
June 20, 2017
Good to make quick work of water on the bathroom counter tops... the only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is that I think the rubber part of the squeegee is a little too thin/flimsy, would like it just a slight bit thicker, because it bends too easily with pressure resulting in a sub-optimal removal of water.
Comfortable handle and shape of the squeegee
January 19, 2017
Comfortable handle and shape of the squeegee. Does a good job of sweeping water away from our glass shower doors and the tile walls. The clear suction cup holder is not very visible on our light colored tile so it is easy to forget it is there and bump into it as you squeegee away the water. But because there are no hard corners or areas and the suction is strong enough no injuries have resulted to hands.
Does the job.
October 25, 2016
This squeegee works great for my shower. It leaves no streaks and spots whatsoever and gets the job done. My only complaint is the black handle. Other brands make it less conspicuous by having a clear or white handle but the black handle this one has really sticks out with the glass shower it is stuck on.
Effectively clears water off ceramic tile shower walls which helps to prevent mildew formation in grout
July 29, 2014
I bought squeegees for all my bathrooms even though two have ceramic tile walls and one is a pre-fabricated shower stall, and none have glass doors.I complained of mold and mildew issues in my grout of my shower and tub/shower combo. The grout was just sealed with numerous coats of sealant within the last year. With a tunnel type bathroom with no windows and an apparently ineffective ceiling fan, mildew appeared too quickly and I was needing to use bleach water or a noxious mildew spray to clean it.A friend who also has shower curtains rather than glass doors told me that she used a squeegee and it helped prevent mildew growth. I bought three - one for each bathroom - and I have noticed a big difference in mildew growth.Since my mother never used a squeegee (maybe they weren't around for bathrooms then) it didn't occur to me that people should use it on ceramic tile walls of a shower or tub surround - I thought they were only used to keep glass shower doors looking clean! I am very glad that my friend enlightened me!As far as this OXO squeegee, I have only used other squeegees when visiting friends to use on prefab shower walls and entire glass shower enclosures. This squeegee does not have as fine an edge to it as the other ones I've tried, but it does a good job on ceramic tile and I like that it has its own holder, which is convenient. It seems that the holder should not stay suction-cupped to the wall because it is oddly convex (not flat) but it does, even though the contact area is small (at least so far). The holder is one piece. Everything is made of plastic and silicone/rubber, so not rusting. Recommended!

It's ok
June 3, 2017
They're ok... I find that the soap seems to slide off if not put on just right. For the price, will keep
Depends on your needs if these work
May 16, 2017
These are nice soap savers but I'm a little disappointed that they are more of a soap mat than a soap dish. By that I mean there's no catch tray under them .... just drain holes. So you can't just put a wet bar on this and sit on the counter because soapy goo will leak out.
A little too wide, but good value.
April 26, 2017
They are a little wider than I expected and don't quite fit on my soap dish without hanging off a lot. That being said, they are cheap and keep the soap bar from dissolving on to the soap dish so I will continue to use them!

May 8, 2016
The soap savers are a little too large for my soap dish But they are large enough to hold a full bar of soap, which is what I was searching for
Smallish
March 14, 2016
This ended up being a bit misleading. The dimensions given for the product is actually the dimensions of the card stock that they come attached to. The length of each is about 3 inches. They're a bit small for a regular size bar of soap, but I can live with them. I just wanted folks to know that they're pretty small and there are larger ones out there... of which I have a couple. I thought I had ordered a two pack of the same size I already have.
Too small to be useful, the bigger ones work great
July 15, 2014
These are too small to be useful, buy the larger, 'normal' sized soap savers. The larger ones are super useful, no longer will you have water/soap slime rub off on your hands when you pick up the soap. Your soap will be dry and ready for you to use.

Squeegee is a funny word

Got this to replace a wiper squeegee I got from Costco. I went back to using the squeegee from Costco. Why? The handle gets in the way at the bottom of the wipe. The holder is very nice.
... OXO brand is bc my daughter has a very nice one in her shower
June 11, 2017
The reason I purchased the OXO brand is bc my daughter has a very nice one in her shower. The brand has several styles and I must have chosen the wrong one as mine is much smaller and doesn't see to work as well as the one my daughter has. It gets the job done alright.
Disappointed
May 6, 2017
I've purchased an oxo squeegee before and had great results. During my recent move I lost it and reordered this new one. After A few cleanings I noted that the edges are curling up preventing a nice clean edge. I'm disappointed since I tend to purchase Oxo products for their durability and fair price.
Not as pictured
July 2, 2016
This is a fine squeegee. However, what is pictured here is not the color that arrived. It was just white with clear, no teal blue color that is shown. I actually purchased it because it was teal, which happens to be my favorite color and the color of accents in our bathroom. So that led to my disappointment upon opening the package. Other than that, it works as expected. I'd give 4 stars for functionality and 3 stars for appearance, not as pictured.
Pretty good, but can grow mold under the blade
April 6, 2016
I've had this squeegee for a couple years, and it does a good job at swiping away the water, particularly from our glass shower doors. In terms of every day operation, my only complaint is that I find it needs to be held at just the right angle in order to be truly effective, or it'll leave streaks behind. I often find myself holding it at too low an angle which isn't as effective. But my main problem with this squeegee is that mine has started to build up serious mold! I read that another reviewer said the blade is molded with the handle so no mildew or mold can form. Not so! I have black gunk forming underneath the rubber blade, where it meets the plastic within. I've done my best to wipe it off, but it won't budge. So while I like this model in general, I won't be buying another one. I'm going to try another model.
Size & Comfort Issues
November 19, 2015
High quality materials and assembly. Should last years. works well on my glass shower doors and ceramic tile walls. My complaints: I was looking for a 12" wide, but decided this one at 10.8" would suffice. The Amazon listing errors got me again. The actual width is 10". Believe it or not, that .8 makes a difference in the number of swipes on my walls and doors. I checked the other measurements in the listing: The stated 6.9" from blade edge to handle end is actually 5.8". I find it too short for easy manipulation in use. I think the fat grip handle also hinders dexterity. The handle-to-blade angle is too straight. I have to cock my wrist some to make good contact.Aggravates my arthritis. The listing's thickness measurement of 2" is not of the handle, but instead of the suction cup holder. The handle height is 1".

Too flimsy!
September 30, 2017
I was not impressed with these. They’re too flimsy, and we have a hard time getting our soap to stay on them without sliding off. Wouldn’t buy again.
Meh.
September 6, 2017
Thought they would stick to shower shelf, but no. Dish slides around, and then soap slides around. Better off without this.
Not helpful at all
July 17, 2016
These soap savers are so slippery the soap will NOT say on them. I make my own lye-based soap, so I like to have bars of my soap at every sink/tub/shower. I bought these because they are clear and I thought they would sort of "hold" the soap in place. Not so, you put the soap on the soap saver and it slides right off, either back into the sink or somewhere around around the soap saver. I gave them 2 stars because I do like that they are clear.
Mushy Soap
April 17, 2015
The idea behind this is to keep the soap from getting "mushy." Since there are no drainage holes, the water collects in the acrylic dish with raised "nubs" and gets to be a slippery mushy mess. We are going to drill some drainage holes and see if it works after being modified.
Doesn't stop the soap from getting soggy.
February 15, 2014
I legitimately bought this solely for the ability to stop the soap from being soggy, and it didn't work! I now use it upside down to cover the soap awkwardly in the shower caddy, and that'll have to do for now.Pros: Not much, it looks nice I guess, but falls off the shower caddy fairly easily and doesn't really find a way to get rid of the water that falls in that easily (other than manual dumping, but that defeats the purpose of a "soap saver".Cons: Doesn't leak (important!), make soap soggy, kind of expensive, would return, but it's a bath product and that's kind of gross.Don't buy it if you're expecting it to actually work. If you like giving money to Amazon, then that's cool, but I wouldn't buy this if I knew this is what my experience would be.
Dimensions are incorrect
December 7, 2013
The description states it's 4 inches by 6 3/4 inches. The actual dimensions of the product are 3 inches by 2 1/4 inches. I would not have purchased this item if I had known it was so small.

July 9, 2015
The design and comfort of the handle is great. But the actual squeegee itself leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't deliver a truly dry pass.. it appears to be porous to some degree. Definitely not what I expected from Oxo product.
Bad suction cup and even worse customer service
January 15, 2015
Very disappointing product - the suction cup rim is warped and it won't stick to any surface. The rim or lip of the suction cup flip out a bit, like in an inverted contact lens. This prevents the suction cup from forming a good seal to any surface. My attempts to stick this to non-porous contaminate-free shower glass door and tile failed miserably. OXO customer service also failed to be helpful. Insane hold time and voicemail left was never returned. I finally manage to speak to 2 customer service gals and they were condescending like suction is rocket science or something, even though I made it clear the suction is defective. The squeegee itself seems to be OK. It's effective, not the worst I have had and certainly not the best.Update: 3/2015 - Oxo sent me a replacement suction cup and it's a little better than my original one but it still would NOT stay put. There are something seriously wrong with the design or manufacturing of these suction cups. I have other suction cupped items in the shower and none of them falls off every 2 days like this suction cup.

The size of a hotel bar of soap; has nubs on both sides, for what purpose I don't know (unless you are going to try to attach 2 hotel bars of soap); and so light-weight that it would probably float with a birthday balloon. My opinion ... don't waste your money.

October 18, 2015
Crappy design... the plastic forms a container with the walls hight enough that the soap sits in water even sitting on top of plastic spines. I now have a much better version of this that has no side wall and also has a couple of drain holes in the middle.Nice idea... lousy execution.

Do not buy this squeegee. It is made so bad that it doesn't even carry the brand name on it. I bought it because of the brand. (OXO) My old worn out OXO squeegee in my bathroom works better than the new one by far. I use it for the two mirrors in the bathroom after shower. All it did was leave a un-clean smear across were I use the squeegee at. Be careful how you spent your money. There is no quality control at Amazon. Buy at your own risk. If you don't mind returning things that is find with me.
