I took the removeable middle part out and I am using this as a tray underneath my Smilesun Stainless Steel Toothbrush Holder and it is working perfectly to catch any drips that come off our toothbrushes when we put them away. The toothbrush holder fits perfectly in the tray and protects our countertop.

This tray is just the best I've found yet. I love how it's in two pieces; you can put your sponge and scrubbing pad either on top or down inside the dish. Also great for keeping it clean, especially if you do keep the top shelf part in place. Heavy enough that it doesn't slide around. Very pleased.

Looks very nice, is sturdy, and very functional. This sits on my countertop next to the faucet and does a great job of holding that sponge. When the water collects in it, I just tip it over and drain it out, and it's good to go again. Every now and then, I just lift the rack and wipe out the tray with the sponge and rinse, and it's nice and clean.Can't go wrong

I am using this 'soap tray' as a drip tray on top of my kegerator. I needed it quick and I did not want to spend an arm and a leg on an official kegerator drip tray, so I got this. It works perfectly, and I've even received compliments on how nice of a 'drip tray' it is. The best part about is that I am able to toss it in my dishwasher if it starts getting grimey.I am giving this 5 stars since it's multi-functional, very well built (I believe it's powder coated), and it is cost-effective. It's a very good value if you want a solid product that is going to last.

I like this soap dish. It's attractive and well-made. It's of decent weight, I was not disappointed. I like that the soap is not lying in water all day long as it would with a conventional soap dish. I already had a soap dish just like this one, so I know the style works. It keeps soap, like clear glycerin soaps like Neutrogena, from dissolving.

This is one of these products that you don't realize that you need, until you have one. Then you need one for every single surface that might possibly hold a bar of soap, because you cannot imagine ever using soggy soap ever again. Such a simple design, but so perfect! I've had mine for at least a year, and there's no evidence of rust yet. I can't imagine how much I've saved in bars of soap, since they last longer when they're not sitting in moisture. It's also more hygienic, drying the soap out versus letting it breed bacteria. Great, simple design that has made my life much easier.

It's sad when one has to post a review of a soap holder! But these really are super. They hold the soap just as advertised. More importantly, these are affordable.Honestly, I shopped at the local stores for simple soap holders and was nonplussed by the high prices!

I don't know why I thought these would be a hard material, but they are rubbery and flexible. I actually like them better like that so they grip the counter and the shower. I will be ordering more for other areas of the house! I also like that they don't drain out the bottom so the counters stay clean.

Wonderful! I love keeping the water away from my soaps, and these feel rubbery, which I like more than stiff and rigid soap holders for some reason. I also read in the reviews that the soap washes away clean whenever your ready to spiff them up, and it's true, soap residue rinses away, unlike other holders I've tried.

What a steal. Great price, best soap dish ever. Others too bulky and hard to clean.These do not slip, are easy to clean and fun to look at. I have had several people comment on them. I have them in all my bathrooms and the kitchen sink. Unique and special invention, thanks for these. I would recommend to every one to try them. FYI : I am 70 yrs old and have had many dozens of soap dishes over the years. These are my favorite, by far.

Nice soap dishes. Grooves are deep enough that shower water is kept away from soap. My soap bars are way better, last longer and are less goopy now. Just rinse under shower head and dish is clean and looks like new again. Nice elegant light dove-grayish color.

This fits the bill in terms of what I needed. It is a tiny bit deeper than the ledge of my sink, but that is not the product's fault. I am giving it 4 stars because I have had it for less than two weeks and I want to see how it holds up over time (e.g., rusting).

I looked all over for something we could use in our newly renovated shower that was modern, brushed metal finish and had a drip pan so soap & razors could stay dry. This is pretty darn good and very reasonably priced. I deducted a star because I thought this would be more of a finished metal and it looks more like a chrome that has been spray painted and there were a few imperfections in the finish. All in all, I'm pleased with the look and function for the price.

This is a very nice tray. I use it for my two scrubbies. I like that they don't sit in yucky water, and it is easy to clean. I dinged it a star because it needs rubber feet s it does not slip or scratch the counter.

Works great and has a lovely design. The only issue I have with mine is that the middle part of the bottom piece is slightly bulging out, which makes the dish spin in circles whenever it gets wet. I fixed this issue by taping "feet" made from broken toothpick parts to the bottom. Now it stands on these four "feet" and doesn't spin anymore.

These were a gift. Liked the way they looked. I think these will work well because they will allow the soap to dry between uses in shower.

I like these soap dishes and they are priced well. They do not drain water, so you will have to empty and wash them out occasionally. Other than that, no issued. I use them for bar soap at bathroom sinks.

These work pretty well for soap on my bathroom sink. The water is kept from the soap and helps keep it from being used up quickly. I wish there was more of a lip so the soap wouldn't slip off, but it isn't too bad as it is. I just have to be a little careful how I set it on the soap dish. It might not work out too well for children or others who are not careful.

I have a new shower with four permanent soap dishes. I need something so the organic soaps my husband and I use do not get mushy. These work good. Soap does not stick to them but they need drainage holes in the bottom. Will probably buy more later for sink. Oh, my shower is a gray marble and the gray soap holders look great.

This soap dish holds the stupid square soap I have that doesn't stay put anywhere else. I have a bunch of this soap (it was a gift) and was ready to throw it all out. Style-wise, it's just okay but as I'm using it at my dad's house while I clean it out, that's not too important for me.

Meh! Developed rust spots in the tray after a day or two. It's still functional but I would look elsewhere.

Received this soap dish yesterday. Don't know if it is an irregular. There was a cut on the top (mesh part) of dish. When I turned it over, you can tell it was obviously sodded together. Doesn't look new to me. Disappointed!

This soap dish does the job, but looks a little cheap if you look too close. It also left a dark stain on my marble sink (the stain went away after about a week after I moved the soap dish - it was probably just from trapped moisture), but I put some rubber protective stickers on the bottom and that seems to have resolved the issue.

The bottom tray seems kind of cheap when look at the bottom side - it's a cut piece of metal that's been bent into shape, so you can see the rough edges on the bottom. The drain at the top is very nice, though.

This was just what I wanted for holding the bottles of dish and hand soap next to the sink, but after a few weeks use, I noticed the bottom was leaving brown marks on our Formica counter. I now have plastic wrap fitted under the thing to protect the counter. A small, but still annoying flaw.

Very good quality but I wish it had drain holes -forgot to check for that!

These are ok and are fairly cheap. But if you want quality I would pay more for a ceramic or glass soap dish. They will look prettier and clean easier.

they don't have a hole to drain water so water is sitting between slats. the soap is half wet always.

They get soapy quickly but serve the purpose if you rinse it and dump the collected water.

The soap still gets mushy and does not stay dry as I expected it would with this type of dish. I've had a similarly styled one in the past and it worked well. It is cheaply made.

It got very rusty quite quickly and had to replace it with a plastic soap dish.

Then buy this! When the soap is picked up the metal grate sticks then falls off, making a super loud clatter noise! It's not ideal.

This is very nice looking at first but i have noticed rust spots forming on the bottom tray from a little bit of standing water and soap.

I was excited when I read an answered question that it didn't rust only to find out after using for 2 weeks that it does rust and stained my stone. Very diaappointed it was what I was looking until rust appeared.

The nickel finish appears to be silver spray paint. Not impressed. And I had to wait extra long for it (probably so the paint could dry).

These are plastic. Not metal.

Soap jelly collects in the bottom and is difficult to clean out. A cut-down cellulose sponge set in a dish does a better job.

I though this were made of hard plastic but in fact are made of rubber, and it looks cheap. So if the soap is too big, then it can feel from it. I still use them but I am thinking of buying new ones in the future

They look simple and sleek, but their functionality is lacking. They sit so closely to the counter on which they're placed that there is no airflow. Things get slimy. Water remains between the groves on the top side, which results in them also becoming slimy.Just pass on these, I say.

The soap dish is a soft silicone but the bottom is a solid layer so it doesn't drain.It's relatively easy to clean, but you have to dump the accumulated soap and water often due to the design.I'd look at other models that drain - this one is not recommended.

The picture shows 2 oval soap dishes and 1 round soap dish. That is what I wanted. But I received 3 oval soap dishes. Very disappointing.

very disappointed. ordered 3 but first one opened had defects in both paint and workmanship (there was a big seam in the lip of the insert? really?), and this is clearly not stainless steel. Back it goes.

Where the legs of the grate touch the tray, the finish was worn through on the tray when received.

I literally had to throw away after only a week it rusted that bad that quickly. A soap dish shouldn't rust considering it's made to get wet. It was also attracting fruit flies in the bottom.

This was a rusted mess in no time flat. It started showing some rust on top after a couple weeks. A few weeks later, I picked it up and discovered a giant orange puddle under it on my counter. Junk.

Not sure how I can add more to the title. This is "stainless steel", but apparently very low grade stainless steel. To be fair, since this product is meant to be in contact with water almost all the time, you would need pretty high quality stainless steel for it to remain rust-free in any useful sense (my soap keeps getting brown spots from the rust on it, and I have to scrape them off). So why are they even making these things out of metal??? They should watch The Graduate. I am amazed that the manager of the company that makes this (apparently) did not try it at home for a while. There is no way that anyone could fail to notice the intolerable rust buildup on this product after using it for a few weeks. And if they do know that their product is terrible, how can they sleep at night as they continue to manufacture it?

The soap holder keeps the water in the grooves resulting in soft soap.

Hate these things - it would work better if the slots actually opened to drain water through the bottom of the soap dish. This one has a solid bottom, so water still pools up in the soap dish. I can see that the solid bottom provides more structure, but the manufacturer could have added a few holes all around to drain away water while still having enough material maintaining the soap dish's shape.

Problem with this is that the soap slides off. Would not reorder.

Closed bottom...no place for water to go. Not a good design. I used a knife to cut slits in bottom to help drain. Not what I expected.
