Love this kitchen tool!
June 2, 2017
Great kitchen tool. Keeps my counter clean while cooking!
Cute and functional
April 16, 2017
Does what it's supposed to. Looks just like the picture.
Awesome and cute
February 13, 2017
I was tired of placing my wooden spoon on the counter after stirring my soups, especially knowing I'll just have to stir again in a few minutes anyway. It was so messy (and probably unsanitary) to put the spoon down on the counter or stove between uses. I love this spoon holder even after one use. I bought the red rooster one and it's so cute! So far, it's very reliable for holding my spoon over the pot so my counter tops can stay clean!
Oink Oink I Keep Your Stove And Counter Clean!

I LOVE this...I have wanted something that I could put my spoon in and not mess up my stove forever. This is great. And adorable. I named him Kosher!
It works
December 10, 2016
Its a little wobbly especially if the sides of the pan are curved, as in a saute pan, but it works, holds my spoons in place above the pots. What more could you ask for.
This works great!
August 4, 2016
This works great! I had the typical stainless steel spoon rest by my stove and even though it's pretty easy to clean, this trusty rooster does a great job at maintaining a clean kitchen and allowing your food to drip/fall back into the pot. It's great at holding spatulas, wooden spoons and even chopsticks.

Works good it doesn't slid off. It fits both big and small pots no issues with it.
Really great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone ...
March 9, 2017
This is a really handy strainer to strain off grease and other things (which is what I primarily use it for. Really great product and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in buying it. I would definitely buy this again in the future as long as it remains available.
I used this for pancake batter and it worked VERY well.
January 21, 2016
I used this for pouring pancake batter out of the side of a mixing bowl and it worked perfectly. NO DRIPS !!! NO MESS!! This is very sturdy. EASY to put on and take off. Adheres snuggley to the inside of the bowl so nothing gets past it except what you are pouring out the spout. Easy to remove to wash. I had bought a different item which had lips that slipped over both sides of the rim of the bowl that was not nearly as good as this one because the spout part of it was too shallow. This one has a well formed sturdy spout that is well supported by a white plastic brace on the outside of the bowl.
Simple and Easy to Use
February 5, 2015
The day after we received it we began using it. It is very simple and it does it's job. From the time we got it we have used it over 10 times, we cook often. So far we haven't had any problems. It stays in place with the clip and it is easy to put on (no burnt fingers yet). Of course there has been a few rogue pieces of veggies or pasta that slips out. I don't know about you, but even using a strainer I still have a couple pieces come out. For the price I think its a good deal and a great asset to my kitchen.
POUR IT!!
August 15, 2013
I got this as a solution to messy cooking and baking incidents.this will turn any mixing bowl into a "pour spout" type of bowl. really handy.the built in strainer can be remove when used with thicker batters or ones with chips or candies in the instance of cake/cupcake batter.washes up in the top rack of a diswasher, or can be washed very quickly by hand.the only down side is if the bowl you are using has a heavy "lip" (as some of our older pyrex wear does) it may not work well. all of our other mixing bowls have shown no problems with this being used.a good addition to any kitchen tool collection.

Doesn't clip onto pan/pot as tight as I'd like it to. Other than that it definitely does what it says. Worth the 5 bucks

I really like this- it's cute and functional- but it was a gift for my mom and I'm pretty sure she never uses it
Functional

This gadget was too cute. I thought somehow it would be bigger. It works though, surprisingly enough. I put it in the run of any pit and can rest my spoon on it. And it looks adorable what's not to live lol
This little piggy ;)
February 16, 2016
Bought this for my daughter as a stocking stuffer. She cannot stand a messy stove or using a spoon rest. This little piggy sits perfectly on the edge of her pots and looks adorable. I didn't think this would work but it certainly does! I will be purchasing more in the future.

Great product but be a vigilant (sensible) user
May 28, 2017
Be aware: the edges can shift a bit and a high volume of food will leak out of the sides or over the top if you're not careful. Great product but be a vigilant (sensible) user
Great product

Works good. It take me a minute to figure out how to place it correctly. Loved how it worked with draining burger grease. Haven't had a chance to use it with other ingredients yet

Almost gave up
October 1, 2016
I was so anxious to try this product that I DID NOT read the instructions very carefully. I tried it my way and of course, it did not work well at all. I was frustrated and was ready to send it back. Two days later, after reading the fact that it had video instructions, I watched the video. What a difference. The written instructions were not as clear as watching the video. Now it works. I find that it does not work on Tupperware bowls that have lids.
Very helpful, but not perfect.
September 5, 2014
I've only used it once, but this worked pretty well with draining spaghetti. I didn't have any leakage, but wasn't able to fully drain all the water off without spaghetti falling out on the sides. It did drain most of it with some juggling to hold back the spaghetti from the sides. It would be perfect if it covered up the sides and top in a semi-circle. But still, I'm glad I bought it as it works better than anything else I've used.
This has come in handy in my kitchen.
April 30, 2014
I love this product, as I cook ground beef a lot, and always wished there was an easier way to drain the fat/grease. This product does the trick for that, but the only thing I would change is that the barrier that holds back the meat/whatever you are pouring was a bit taller so food would be held back easier. With a pound of ground beef, I usually can maneuver my pan so none of the meat falls out, but if the barrier part was taller, I wouldn't have to pour as carefully.

Cute touch
June 22, 2016
This is so cute and a great touch to my kitchen. However, the silicone is already starting to strain (it's spreading apart) from the weight of a wooden spoon. Not sure how long this will last. For the cost though? It's worth it and very cute!
Loved the concept
April 13, 2016
Loved the concept, and as long as you position everything just right, it works well. It takes a couple tries to get it to stay on the pot and hold a spoon though. Just not ever sturdy where the spoon goes.
Not what i hoped.
January 6, 2016
Cute, but doesn't work/fit as I expected. My stainless steel Cuisinart pots have a bit of an outer "lip" on them, as do most pots I have had, so this doesn't sit correctly on the rim. Bummer.
Doesn't work with spoons that have thick handles
July 31, 2015
Alright, doesn't hold all spoons (maybe mine just have thicker handles than normal ones?), which is kind of a bummer. Ended up just getting a spoon rest and don't use this as much. It's cute though.
Ultimately not that useful
January 13, 2015
I hardly ever use this item because the spoon area (in the center of the chicken) is too small to hold most of my cooking utensils. Most of my spoons and spatulas have handles that are simply too big to fit into this holder. Also, I didn't think about it when I bought this, but I do most of my cooking in a frying pan. Having the spoon holder so close to the bottom of the pan is impractical - this spoon rest would work well for pots, but not for pans. I think this item is cute, and I think the price is right, but overall it is not nearly as useful as I thought it would be.
Spoon Holder
February 3, 2013
I loved the idea but this sits cockeyed on my pots because of the offset lip. It still holds the spoon but it angles the spoon up and some times it runs up the handle.

in good packaging, and exactly as advertised
July 31, 2017
This item came on time, in good packaging, and exactly as advertised. It works as indicated, and, although not appropriate for every task, will reduce the need for a sieve or strainer for simple tasks, like draining water from a pot of pasta. They are a little flimsier than I expected, and the "detachable" strainer really isn't detachable in any useful sense. Now that I've used it a couple of times, I probably wouldn't recommend it.
It's a great concept, and saves room in the kitchen
June 22, 2017
It's a great concept, and saves room in the kitchen. I have spilled hot water more than once by dipping it literally any farther than shown in the product description pictures. If you're the careful type, it's a great tool.
Works fine for medium sized pots.
March 19, 2017
Not really a design flaw, but limited to the size of the pot. I tried using with full size Le Creuset and it spills.

Looked like a great idea.... JAFG: Just Another Gadget. Hard to store in a reasonable counter drawer, and I am so used to draining with a lid that it has been used once. I'm sure that it is a great timesaver for anyone who can't sharpen two knives together, but its really a crutch. Learn to cook and it gathers dust.

Mine fits on my pots great! The only problem I have is that if you have a large amount that you are trying to drain they spill over the top. But as a sauce pourer this is great!

while it looks nice and fun
August 4, 2017
This little pig, while it looks nice and fun, doesn't stay on the pans. It's just not very cooperative. Wouldn't say it's cheap but not constructed as well as it could have been. I'll keep it around but would I buy another one of these in a rooster or a bird of sorts? No.

Could be more functional
February 26, 2013
I didn't buy this for it's cute factor but really needed a product to replace a different one that had worn out after years. The area for the spoon is tight and won't hold some of my larger ladles or spoons. I will look for a different product but this is adequate for right now.

Not as advertised too flimsy falls off and then you can get burned.
August 12, 2016
Falls off pots, and all the other things I tried. Too bad I can't return.
Seemed like a good concept
March 14, 2016
Doesn't stay on well enough with with food trying to escape. Seemed like a good concept, but needs a better holder than the little white piece.
Not a good buy
October 10, 2015
The description says the strainer is removable, but the instructions say it is attached so it won't be lost and can be removed by cutting - which means that it cannot be reattached. I expected it to be attachable for when I wanted to use it as pictured to pour veggies or detached to pour sauce. However, you choose on or the other so not versatile. Needs to be positioned just right and then pour gently. Should return but not worth the effort.
Poor Quality
September 8, 2014
Poor design. Doesn't want to fit snugly to a hot pot which is dangerous.
Not worth the hassle
July 28, 2014
Saw this on tv and thought we'd give it a try. It doesn't pour thicker mixes like pancake batter and we had a difficult time having it seal well enough to the inside of different size bowls. Sadly a waste of money but a good idea.
Didn't work for me at all!
April 30, 2013
I thought this was going to be great in the kitchen and not just a useless gadget. I was SO wrong. I don't like to give bad reviews, but I have to for this one. I tried it on several bowls and pans, and each and every time it failed. As simple of an item this appears to be, it takes a minute to put it on so that everything is tucked in and tight. Even after that, it leaked right under the spout. Now, in all fairness, I did not use this for draining grease from browned meat or something like that. I used it for batter. Maybe it will work better for that, but I honestly don't think it will. I will try it once for that, and if that fails as well, in the garbage it goes. Also, for a relatively small flexible item, believe it or not, it takes up quite a bit of room in my drawer! You can't tuck in or fold those wings to make it smaller. In my opinion, I regret this purchase and would not recommend it.

I thought this was a great idea but doesn't play out so well in reality
December 26, 2014
I thought this was a great idea but doesn't play out so well in reality. It's a little difficult to fix to a pot and then place the spoon in it. Plus, it gets really hot, so it's definitely a burn risk when reaching back for the spoon after the heat's been on for a while. Not an accessory for the uncoordinated chefs in the room (like me)!
Discolored :-(
May 11, 2014
I was SO excited to get these to give out for mothers day. When is came in the post it was not packaged and discolored. There was black marks all over it so it was not the pretty color you see in the picture. Very sad and disappointed.
cute but not functional

I tried it - material not strong enough to keep the spoon from slipping out. I would not recommend fo anyone.

Nice concept
May 6, 2017
...but slides off of the pot. You'd have to hold it so it doesn't slip off - but then you'd burn yourself if the water is hot. I would not buy this again and I would not give it as a gift.
Flimsy and Deceiving
April 10, 2017
Pictures are deceiving. When product arrived it still had small pieces attached from whatever mold it was cut out of. One of the pegs for the strainer is broken and the strainer is really difficult to put on the pegs. I had to cut out all the holes in the strainer since pieces of rubber were still intact in all the holes. It feels too flimsy to even bother trying to use it. Too bad it isn't eligible for return. I would have returned it.
Would not recommend - product fell off during use.
March 27, 2017
Used twice and the product fell off both times. Unfortunately it is too late to return the product as I did not use it for a while and it is past the 30 days now.
Seller continually asks me to remove my negative review.
February 2, 2017
This is a funky little rubber thing that took two of us to figure out how to use it. For it to work at all, you must pour very slowly as liquid leaks and runs down the outside of the pan or bowl making a mess. Not convenient or easy to use at all.Edited to add: The seller contacted me to ask if the product was damaged, stating that they would replace it. I told them it was not defective, just didn't work as advertised. Then seller offered to refund 50% of my money if I would remove my negative review. Not a chance!Edited again 2-10-2017: I am getting a barrage of emails from this seller asking me to remove my review because "your bed feedback really hurts us." They want me to return the product at my expense so they can send me another one. Why would I want another one when it doesn't work? I am through dealing with this seller. What hurts them is the fact that their product does NOT work as advertised.
Very disappointed.
September 20, 2016
This is very flimsy construction and didn't stay stiff when pouring. Also the strainer insert would not stay in place. I tried to return it the day after I received it and was told that it was not able to be returned. Which seems to signal to me that they know there is a problem with their product. Very disappointed.
It didn't keep a seal at all well
April 26, 2013
Each year, as part of our pre-Passover cleaning and preparation, we "kasher" our granite countertops and steel sinks, a process which involves systematically pouring boiling water over every square inch of said counters and sinks. We've evolved a system where we boil the water in big pots and pour it after transferring to two smaller pots which we alternate. (I'm not going to bore you ad nauseam with the intricacies and the reasons for this system.)The only problem is that neither of said smaller pots has a spout, so the pouring was very imprecise. Rather than buy a new pot or saucier with a proper spout, we decided to try this.Big mistake. To begin with, we never felt confident about the seal, and it always seemed like there was water leaking around the edges. And then, after switching a few times between the two smaller pots we used for the actual pouring - and mind you, the pots were not the same size at all, i.e. 1 qt vs 2.5 qts - this thing got so bent out of shape that it basically couldn't seal at all, and the pouring was even more imprecise than it used to be when we didn't use this piece of plastic junk in the first place.A *total* waste of the money.
