| A bit disappointingApril 22, 2017 From the photos in the listing, this looks like a substantial piece, but it is very much not. The slats are far more narrow than depicted in the listing, with the spaces between them being about the same width in the unit I received. It has no heft to it at all and feels like it's made of balsa wood rather than any hardwood. Still, it has a simple job, which is to hold soap. This is going in my shower where only I will see it, so as long as it does its job, I'll be okay with it. If it were to be a decorative piece by my sink, I'd be returning it. I thought I was ordering a duplicate of that one. This is quite small and has a varnish finish. It is held together with staples while our other has no nails only fitted with pegs and grooves.
