Beautiful. I was temporarily using this on the counter prior to getting around to installing it with its holder. Unfortunately I dropped it on the tile floor and it broke. I ordered a second one--and a replacement one, just in case of some accident in the future==and will be installing this weekend!

Real nice dish. For those of you who are wondering if it's round or oval...IT'S PERFECTLY ROUND! However, it fits most standard size bars of soap. Quality is nice & it is a rather heavy dish.Re-ordering another one b/c I knocked mines of the counter & broke it. Luckily I didn't have to worry about teeny tiny pieces of glass (this dish is not made of thin fragile glass).

When we bought our house we had a strange round mounting bracket in our guest bath. We weren't sure what it was for and nothing seemed to fit. Finally thought to look on Amazon and saw that it could be either a soap dish or cup holder. I was thrilled to order this replacement soap dish at a great price. Now we don't have a mystery bracket in our bathroom anymore.

Perfect soap dish to keep the bar kind from sitting in water, and it is a quality type glass, heavy duty and almost crystal looking. Makes a nice presentation for a gift. I bought hand made bars of fragrant soaps for gifts and gave this dish along with them and I was very happy to present them together. Vendor was great just as pictured, the dishes received in a timely manner.

This soap dish looks very sturdy and well made. I like the way it looks in my master bathroom's vanity. Definitely recommend this product.

Great 👍 for bathroom and kitchen. These soap holders are well worth the wait of shipping and definitely worth the money. Color is unique and they are a steal for the quality and crafmanship. I only ordered a few not knowing the quality since they were so economically priced but I will be ordering more as gifts 🎁 for the holidays.

This is a really beautiful soap holder. It looks just like the picture. I don't like using liquid soap, but didn't like having my bar soap directly on the sink. Now my bar soap looks really nice. Also it was such a great price! It's worth the wait.

Wow, some people really had high expectations for a soap holder. While it doesn't fulfill all of my wildest dreams, it's a pretty little dish and holds soap just fine.As long as you know the things below and are ok with it (as I am), you should buy this!It's inexpensive.It looks good.It holds soap.Mine did not splinter and had a protective coating to keep soap from getting into the wood.It's probably not teak.The pieces are stapled together. It's not easy to see the staples and honestly how often do you inspect your soap dish?It's very light weight and can slide. I have mine outside of the shower liner, inside curtain, and it never gets knocked off.

This soap holder is very nice for the price. It seems sturdy, and it keeps my soap dry and clean. It is fairly easy to clean if soap suds remain on it. Others have commented about the problem of not having a dish to catch the water that comes off the soap, but I don't find that to be much of a problem. I just try to make sure that the soap is not dripping when I put it back on the dish. This works much better than other little dishes I have used that are not slatted.

Serves it's purpose as a clear glass soap dish. Does gather some soap water in the bowl which you have to clean out once in awhile, but looks classy and clean, just as I anticipated.

This turned out to be quite different from what I expected, but it is perfectly OK. For some reason I visualized it as being oval, but it is in fact round. Also, the glass has a greyish cast that I found a little disappointing - I was expecting clear glass with maybe a bit of greenish or bluish tint - but I could have misread the photo. There are little raised areas at the bottom of the dish to help the soap drain some; but as another reviewer wrote, you really do need to pour out the water every so often (this is pretty obvious). The dish feels sturdy and solid. Overall a good item.

Best value compared to more expensive, nearly identical versions.Arrived with one part detached from the nail but I pushed it back in.

bought three, two were fine, third was improperly assembled - the end piece was not fastened. A friend fixed it with wood glue and a small nail. like the looks

I bought two of these. They’re simple and pretty, though there’s nothing to catch the soapy water on the underside, so it can create a mess if you’re not careful. Aesthetically, I really like them, especially for the price. It took several weeks for them to arrive.

This is a pretty little soap holder; however, you do need to use something to keep the dripping soap from going through. I thought this came as 2 pieces; one for the soap and one piece to catch the drips. But, it is only 1 piece. Fortunately, I recently purchasAira Soap Saver. BPA Free Soap Lift from Amazon.This is very well made. I like the natural wood. I would have given it 5 stars if there was a bottom.

Though it is not the prettiest soap holder it is actually very easy to clean and does the job! Unlike other natural wood soap dishes, it also doesn't get discolored because it is already a dark color wood, won't grow fungus either because it has the open spaces to drain water accumulation through. HOWEVER you don't have to constantly clean under it, I don't know what it is but it works. Highly recommend.

This soap holder is smaller than I though. It doesn't fit a regular size soap properly.

Does the job as much as a soap holder can do. But be sure to constantly clean it or else it builds mold up in the hard to reach places.

From the picture, I imagined a beautifully crafted, spa-worthy, teak masterpiece. I ordered three. Upon arrival they appeared cheap and low quality. The wood is low grade pine held together with staples. The finish is just ok. They are fine, though, and have held up surprisingly well for several months. I don't anticipate needing to replace them anytime soon.

Very thin glass that chips very easily. I am not happy it is a piece of junk.

7X4X2.8? This is about 4 inches (circular). I am giving it 2 stars, because it's great to hold hotel-sized guest soaps. It is pretty. I wish Amazon would vet their third-party vendors a bit better.

This is just a soap holder so my expectations weren't that high. However, two of the three pieces came damaged or misshapen/misaligned. It puts a whole new meaning into the phrase, you get what you pay for . . . still, I wouldn't waste the money next time for something that is of such poor quality.

Mold is already growing on it. Also it's really lightweight and not worth it. I would rather invest more money and buy something much better. Lesson learned.

Looks nice but there is no under tray. Which I did not think about. So soapy water puddles below it.

Cheaply made but does the job

Pretty cheaply made and took several weeks to arrive when the original estimate was 5 days.

It's just "okay", I had intended this as a gift but it feels way too cheap and I can see putty around in places where the wood wasn't aligned properly or was too short.I know it's inexpensive, but I don't think it will last very long and it's not nearly nice enough to be a gift.

Only get this if you need it to go with the wall mount holder. I got it as a countertop soap holder and it was a definitely NO. Cheap looking and wrong shape for any common soap bars.

Although this didn't cost much, it's certainly not the product described and worth a fraction the price. Cheap junk coated with a toxic stain/lacquer. Not to mention I waited over 3 weeks to receive it. A more authentic product could have been produced by 7th Grade shop class.

It's not even worth the $2 cost. It's cheaply made, smelled strongly of stain, inconsistently applied stain and color. I threw it away immediately to avoid it staining our bathtub grout (and to get the smell out it of my apartment).

Fake fake fake! Don't buy! Item is not "natural wood" but rather cheap pine or spruce with layers of teak colored varnish or epoxy coating the outside. It feels like plastic and certainly has non of the antibacterial qualities of REAL wood bathroom products. Essentially this is an overpriced, overstained piece of machined pine. No good.

Arrived broken, poor wood was used to construct the item and the photo does not represent the actual product.

This took 2 months to arrive and unfortunately looks kind of junky. Kind of bummed about this purchase.

Junk, made of soft pine, held together with pin nails, won't last two days in a shower environment. Save your money
