they are good for the price. Good quality. My husband and I have used them for 4 months now and they are still like new.
Awesome for benching .
October 10, 2016
I've been using these for months now , they are great for weightlifting, specifically benching . I never lose my grip and they keep my wrists tight .
Great buy
September 21, 2016
These gloves are great for the gym. They allow my hands to breathe a lot more than standard gloves which means less sweat. They are also very comfortable and supply nice protection.
Get them asap!
May 22, 2016
By far, the best lifting gloves I've ever used. I've used straps, gloves, etc. and found these are perfect replacements for all. If you use straps for shrugs, deadlifts, etc., the grip on these is so good that you no longer need the straps. Large is a Perfect fit for medium male hands. In use everyday for a month...no signs of distress.
They work
March 28, 2015
Been using these gloves on a regular basis (5-6 days a week) and absolutely love them. I am an avid crossfit person. I do Cleans, Snatches, Pull-Ups, Deadlifts, ETC. almost daily. I have built strong calluses on my hands over the past 6 months but the gloves I was using were just making them worse. After workouts my hands/palms would be throbbing in pain and the calluses would look nasty. Ever since I started wearing these gloves I do not get that constant pain anymore. My calluses have fully re-hardened and no longer hurt after workouts. These gloves are great for lifting and MOST of your everyday WODs.I do not recommend you using these when doing Double Unders or easy basic movements as they are not necessary and I have found the make spinning the rope at the correct rhythm much more difficult.

January 18, 2015
I waited quite a long time to write a review for these just in case I wrote a good one during the first week of use and something bad happened. I have no say, these gloves are amazing and I don't understand how anyone could give these less than 5 stars. Personally, I do not like the feeling of gym gloves because they cover my whole hand and I get really sweaty and hot so I don't like the feeling of my hot sweaty hands being covered in hot sweaty gloves, it is a horrible feeling with all that hot air trapped in there. These gloves leave your hand open leaving the back of your hand exposed for air to flow and it feels great. They are put together well, do not feel flimsy or cheap at all (again I don't understand what the people are talking about that say they fell apart), and the wrist support is nice. These are awesome, these are awesome, and these are awesome. I've been using them for a while now and they are FAR from falling apart. I think they will last a long time and if anything ever happens to them I will purchase the same exact ones again. Just make sure you put your index fingers in the right hole so that your pinky isn't in the index finger (you can tell because the index one is bigger and your pinky will be uncomfortably floating around in a much bigger hole).

Great gloves, great quality, but run small in size.
June 10, 2015
These gloves are really high quality, my only complaint is they seems to run a bit small. I originally thought it was just because they were new gloves and they would loosen up over time, but it's been a little over a month now of heavy use. The gloves seem at the thumb is very tight I expect over time I will break that seem as I lift just due to the tension. Other than fit these gloves are perfect.
Great workout gloves for the gym
December 1, 2014
Great workout gloves for the gym. I have relatively small hands for a guy and I find the mediums that I got to be maybe a bit on the small side. It's not that easy to take on and off for my preference. My previous workout gloves had fins on the fingers that made taking the gloves on and off a lot easier, hence I'm only giving this product 4 stars. The glove itself seems durable and offers good wrist support. I'm happy with the purchase and I'm thinking the gloves might expand a little bit over time, so taking it on and off should get easier. I would recommend getting the larger size though if you're considering two sizes.
Very nice until after 1 year
September 10, 2014
Feel goods, dries quickly once u hang it up. Doesn't smell. After almost 1 year of at least 3 times weekly use, the inner surface has gotten hard (and shiny). It has lost flexibility and doesn't really protect against blisters anymore. I'm not a professional nor semi-pro weight lifter so don't know how long gloves are supposed to last. I expected these to last longer. After 1 year - i'm disappointed that the padding has worn so much. The wrist wraps are very very nice. They really help to stabilizer and support he wrist area.***Update:***I tried washing it to try get it back to new. Following instructions to wash using regular soap (hand/bath). It says wash by hand....however....WARNING!!!!: The black die used in these gloves runs like hell!!!My finger nails are now black from washing these. I washed for several minutes and it's like the die would not stop. The water turned instantly black.*USE PLASTIC GLOVES WHEN WASHINGI made sure to get a dark coloured towel to dry it with. I hope it dries by tomorrow (washed it on Saturday, today is Sunday).
Good, but do you like having stained hands ?
November 6, 2013
I have been using gloves like these for 20 years. I always try different ones in the quest for the perfect glove ... and every 2nd or 3rd model has a staining issue, where the black dye gets all over your hands as a result of the gloves getting sweaty and bleeding onto you, mostly the wrists. The normal fix is to soak them in hot water and detergent over night, throw in the wash machine and whammmo, problem solved. Not with these. 2 long soaks over night and 2 machine washes, still leave my wrists and hands black ... and tough to get off, especially when trying to take a quick shower and get out the door to the bar. These gloves are well made, look good, comfy, good grip ... yet suck. Update - After about 5 washes and months of use, no longer staining my hands. Upgraded to 4 stars ... soak and wash a few times before use.
I'm large and it's too small
September 16, 2013
I've finally decided to buy some gloves for my weightlifting after the calluses on my palms starting getting progressively worse. These gloves are definitely a great product, and they feel great on my hands. They're built real well, some I'm assuming it'll have a nice longevity. I've only had them for a few days now. I'll do an updated review in a few months. One thing I noticed among the reviews though, was to buy a size above what you'd normally wear, I'd agree. My hand circumference is 8 inches, that falls in the large range for Harbinger gloves which is 8-8.5 inches, male Large. Even though there's an adjustable strap in case the gloves are too big, (my fear of them being too big since I'm only 5"4 and 125 lbs) was wrong actually. I don't know if I have gigantic hands or something but even the large is way too small for me. When I'm lifting they're extremely tight and I can fell the blood rushing to my hands. So like the others stated, I'd personally recommend buying a size larger to avoid a similar mishap from reoccurring. Other than that, like I said before, they're really well made. And would make working out more enjoyable if the size is just right.
pretty good gloves
May 2, 2013
So these gloves I have been using for a few months now. They are fairly good but they are not as padded/thick as people made they out to sound. I've had similar gloves from Gold's that were similar in feel and quality.I find the finger material over time starts to compress down so your entire finger isn't covered - this has lead to some blisters toward the middle of my fingers. So it would have been nice if they had made the fingers slightly longer (I got the x-large).The wrist straps are really long and allow you to pull them tight so the gloves are on tight. This helps cover your wrists and helps stiffen them when using heavier weights on the dumbbell and bench.Overall great gloves but I have found similar gloves from Golds that were equal, but I wont mark any points off for it, simply you can find comparable gloves at less price from other manufacturers that last equally as long. I've had a pair of Golds gloves for over a year and used them daily for 2+ hours so know they are solid, so far these Harbingers have shown no sign of major wear so I feel they will also last just as long.

love these gloves, my second pair already... even you have gloves you still have a lot of feeling in your hands
Recomended - good hand and wrist protection
February 27, 2017
I like their fit overall. I like the wrist-band, gives extra support for the wrist and is good to avoid wrist injuries. Good flow of air on the back of the palm, so you don't feel extremely sweaty. Does its job of protecting the hands pretty well. Recommended.

October 7, 2015
Fit perfectly but wish there was something to indicate which is right and which is left without having to put them on. Also I have smaller wrist and the wrap tends to overreach so I kinda which the soft side of the Velcro extended further.
Mud run must have
September 2, 2015
I used these once for a mud run and performed well. Light, had good grip even with mud on them, and provided great wrist support for the obstacles that could've cracked a wrist. Regarding sizing, I am a female with sort of big hands for a woman and got the larger size. The finger fit others complained about is definitely there but it didn't inhibit what I needed them for. If you need gloves for a mud run, these fit the bill. I have no idea how they do with lifting.
Helps with callus prevention, but weakens grip.
April 17, 2015
These have helped with callus prevention, which is what I was hoping for, but they essentially add a little extra diameter to the bar on the weights so my grip isn't as strong. This is making my hands tired faster so I've noticed I'm doing fewer reps on some exercises. I'll try these for a bit longer but may need to find something thinner.
Reliable and Well Built
February 4, 2015
Used daily for the past two months with only one minor discrepency. After a while the bottom edges of the pad will seperate from the wrist wrap. (The two stay connected due to heavy stitching of the borders) Actually, this is not a bad thing since it allows for more air to my sweaty palms and doesn't affect the primary usage of the gloves. The wrist wrap velcro is still good and since there is no leather they don't stink or harden after extensive usage. I purchased a back up pair thinking I would need them after 6-8 weeks of almost daily use, but no, the originals are still going strong. I'm guessing another 4-6 weeks or even longer!

They are ok for the price.
August 5, 2016
These are ok, and will work but are not as good as others I've used. First impressions: the padding isn't very thick but I didn't feel pressure from the bar. They did provide good grip and the fingers are long enough to provide good protection. They are hard to get on and off because of the elastic at the wrist. Once on, they are true to size. While they have the mesh on the back, these gloves are very warm and my hands start sweating right away. When locking down the wrist wrap, the gloves tend to bulk up just above the strap. I haven't had them long enough to see how well they'll hold up.For the price, they were worth a try. I will be trying other brands once these wear out and will probably go back to the Bionics. I don't use these for my cross fit training but will use them for the weight lifting.
Could be made a little better
October 20, 2015
These gloves aren't bad. They have good wrist support and are comfortable. The quality of the stitching is a little crappy though. I bought them at the end of February 2015 and have used them 5 or 6 days a week lifting heavy. They are both ripping apart at the seams between the fingers in several places. I think they should have lasted a little longer. I will probably buy another pair if I can't find something else better. I really like the gloves otherwise.
Not worth the money
October 16, 2015
I have owned two sets of these gloves. I am in need of a new pair and will be trying another brand. After the first pair wore out prematurely, I decided to give them another shot. While the gloves overall are not bad, they don't hold up well. Specifically, the seams are poorly sewn and start separating shortly after you start using the gloves. With both pair I had to make numerous repairs with needle and thread (or rather my wife did) to the seams, especially the outside (heel) of the hand area. What's more, I am not a heavy weightlifter, but a multi-station select-weight guy with a home gym, so I can't attribute the mediocre performance of these gloves to lifting and hand torque associated with pounding heavy weights. I do like the wrist wrap feature, which gives good support. I have bought other gloves for half the price of these and they held up just as long. The reason I spent the extra money (twice) was for a more durable glove and I did not get that.
So so..
June 9, 2015
My only complaint with these gloves is the quality. They fit well, the wrist support is great and they are comfortable. However, these things have fallen apart on me. (Disclaimer: I go to the gym six time a week and lift heavy) That being said, they should last more than a year. With all of that, I will probably buy another pair. There just isnt anything else that is cost effectively better. I guess its just a cost to going to the gym.
Not for heavy lifting.
August 2, 2013
The gloves fit very well. The wraps portion of the gloves are great! They are very secure and provide ample support. However, if you lift heavy weights, 350+ bench, then you are going to wear out the padding in the palms pretty quickly. The padding was great at first, but over a 2 month period the padding was pretty much shot.I just wish the padding had held up better. Now the only true benefit are the wrist wraps.
They get the job done... for a limited time though.
January 21, 2013
So, I hit the gym 6/7 using lifting straps and I felt I needed support on my wrists already and I went for these gloves. Im a size L on MX gloves but I had to go for a XL pair on these ones.Pros:Gloves fit great (go one size up). They look good, plus they protect your hand from... what ever "scratch" or something I don't know.Good price.Cons:First things first, these gloves are way too padded, so much that it kind of compromises the grip on the bars and dumbbells.Second, the wrist straps are for looks only, they don't offer real support at all they feel week, so if your wrists are your weak spot don't settle for these babies. They will make your hand sweat like a mother*****, and they have no breathing holes. They don't feel so sturdy. At the end of the day these gloves are not for hardcore training or gym rats. If you hit the gym 2-3 times a week and want to "look cool" these gloves will do. I get the feeling they won't survive a month hitting the gym 6 days a week. (will include pics later if this thing allows it)Less padding, better sewing work and a real wrist strap would make these bad boys the ultimate gym gloves.

April 16, 2016
They fit well and had a good grip. They were also comfortable. I had to return mine because they didn't hold up well. After purchasing a second time and having the same experience after 1 week of use, I gave up. The return process was smooth, so 3 stars.
Great Design, Great Fit, Poor Padding
July 28, 2015
Amazing Idea. Incredible Design. Poor padding...i still have blisters on my hands - it doesn't protect you very much. Looks cool though and keeps your hands cool. The price is also great. So for minimal padding and great design, I'd say go for it. If you want actual callus guards, you may want to pay a little extra for the better quality ones.
These gloves would be very good if they weren't made so cheap
February 20, 2015
These gloves would be very good if they weren't made so cheap, although, that may be what keeps the price down. I'm currently on my second pair, after returning the first pair because it ripped after the 2nd use.The 2nd pair ripped the same way, at the seams, on the palm side, after only a using them for a couple of workouts.I wouldn't mind paying a bit more, if they were made sturdier.

Ripped in the first two months
October 3, 2016
I've been a Harbinger fan for a long time and have had various pairs of their gloves for close to 20 years. These gloves have good support and fit well, but mine have ripped already after less than two months of wear. Typically I can go a few years without ripping, but less than two months is pretty bad. I don't know what the deal is, but I was willing to pay more money for the Harbinger brand, one that I have trusted, for quality gloves, and these do not meet expectations.
I wrote an hones review but Amazon didn't like it. What's the point then
May 31, 2016
I wrote an hones review but Amazon didn't like it. What's the point then? I used to like Amazon reviews and bought stuff here for that reason but now either reviews seem fake 5 stars or you have to be careful how you tell about issues. In short I have been using these gloves for over 10 years. And have gone through multiple pairs, each lasted me about 1.5 to 2 yrs of weight lifting 4-5 days a week. But the last two pairs I bought here on Amazon have only lasted 6-8 months and the seam gives way specially in fingers. It seems the product quality has gone downhill. Time to try a newer model of gloves.
Ripped in 7 weeks. Stains hands.
May 10, 2015
Honestly disappointed with this purchase. Ive gone through my fair share of gloves throughout the years. Typical week includes 4 day resistance training, 2 days cardio. These gloves ripped near the thumb in approximately 7 weeks. Would not recommend these. Please note:Post workout there is some black stain residue left over in which you must scrub x2-3 times to get off your skin.Padding is a bit thin, but not a bad thing if you like that.A real pain to get off your hands post workout. They really hug the hands (the hugging is good, the sticking isnt).
Not as good as previous Harbinger gloves
November 7, 2014
Seems like I've been using Harbinger gloves FOREVER. The last pair I had were beige colored and lasted for years. I really liked that they had rubber padding at the fingers and palms. It really helped my grip and kept me from getting calluses. However these gloves are nowhere near as good as the last pair I had. There is very little padding. The pads are just basically another piece of leather that goes flat after a few uses. Even worse I bought the XL size since that's what my old gloves were but these ones seem to be sized slightly smaller. They fit my fingers well but the palm area is much tighter so that it takes forever for me to get the gloves off. I have to pull on each finger about 10 times each. The left glove has developed a rip along one of the seams and is starting to come apart already.I definitely wouldn't buy these again.
Great except for stiching
January 17, 2014
I purchased these to protect my hands while on crutches, and they are working great for that. In fact, they have eliminated the hand pain and allowed a blister on my palm to heal, despite the fact that I'm continuing to use the crutches more each day. However, the stitching on one of the fingers didn't fully catch so there's a hole at that spot. I didn't bother trying to return them, because I also discovered that the wrist wrap is more trouble than it's worth in my case. I don't really need the extra wrist support, and the wrist wrap makes them a bit harder to put on/take off, which I do a lot . That's my problem, so I can't count off for that. I just ordered the version without the wrist wrap and kept using this pair until the new ones arrived. Unfortunately, the new ones also have a spot (on the back of the hand, this time) where the stitching is bad. That makes me two for two with poor quality workmanship. Since I can't stop using the crutches while getting replacement gloves, I'm just living with the bad stitching for now. After I'm back on both feet I'll find out if Harbinger has good customer service and takes care of the problems with both pairs of gloves.
*Please replace every 90 days*
November 13, 2013
I previously had a pair of harbinger gloves and bought these as a replacement. They worked well up until right about at the end of the 90 day warranty then the stitching began go come loose. If you are looking for a good pair of gloves that you need to replace every 90 days, this is the pair for you. If you are looking for something more durable, look elsewhere.Pros:Wrist straps are secureSpandex gives it a tight feelGood padding throughoutCons:Black dye comes off on handsPoor construction, starts to fall apart after 90 days

May 30, 2016
The fit is weird. I also think they sent me 2 left-hand gloves. They both have a tag on it that reads 'L'. Also the wrist wrap isn't going to protect your wrists at all.
Comfortable, but can't take serious workout abuse before ripping
April 19, 2016
I bought these gloves to use in crossfit, and I only used these for 3 days (3 hours total) with some pull-ups, clean & jerks, and overhead presses. They didn't last that long before they began to tear, and they tore where most of the stress was on them from the bar (when rotating on the pull-up bar or on the barbell). But then again, I go hard on my workouts and unfortunately these gloves weren't able to keep up.The gloves are comfortable to wear and wrist support is good, and if you don't move your wrists much and keep the pad in place, they'll work well for protecting your palm. But if you're going to be aggressive in your workouts, invest in the leather material as the neoprene is softer and tears much easier. For the price, I'm not to mad about how much use I got out of them, but lesson learned.
Great gloves until they ripped
April 14, 2016
Product arrived in good condition. Padding on the palm was adequate without being bulky. Wrist supports were a nice touch. However, the right glove ripped along 3 seams in less than 3 weeks. It's not like I'm lifting monster trucks, just the usual weights. Very disappointed.
The wrist straps are good, but a little short for my thick wrists
May 21, 2015
The wrist straps are good, but a little short for my thick wrists. The pads are OK for those trying to keep your skin feeling softer - but it does nothing for heavy weightlifting.I also found these tend to cause overheating with my hands.GymPaws are far better for that, though palm coverage isn't as good the leather/neoprene does a far better job. There also isn't an L/R designation on them. If they don't fit right, switch hands. :/
Not recomended.
January 18, 2015
Good product but bad quality. only used it twice and I can see it started to get reipped and I am sure it won't live longer than 5 months. The price is too much comparing to this quality.

Great product except for stained hands
July 5, 2017
These are wonderful gloves except they stain your hands black and it is hard to scrub the stain off. I had to throw them away today as it takes days to get your hands clean. Gets worse over time as I ordered these in 2014
Too bad
July 30, 2016
The gloves are not well made. It has been approximately one month since I started using them, and the stitching on the outer seam of the left glove is already coming undone. It has unraveled about a half inch so far.**Update**. 15 Oct 16About a month ago, the palm started to wear thin. Now the padding is coming out. See attached. This is the state of the globe after only four months use. The are used about four times a week. Very sad to see them wear this fast. Have taken the product down to one star for this.
Fell apart quickly
May 23, 2016
To be dead honest do not buy these gloves. It is my beliefs that the Amazon review system is broken because I decided to purchase these because the positive reviews. But having them for a month now and every seam has split. The quality is astonishingly terrible. Originally I was revisiting the page to tell the seller of my experience to give them a chance to make it right. But then I came to realize that I am not the only one this has happened to so my simple suggestion is look or other gloves these will not last more that 60 days.
Cheaply made junk.
March 31, 2016
Flimsy neoprene ripped almost completely across the SECOND time I used them. I'd like to say this happened during deadlifts or something but it was while using a machine seated row. Complete junk! If I could give it zero stars I would.
Urgh I miss the big beasty BLUE grip series
June 24, 2014
Man, oh man I hate it when company gets greedy so they have to make inferior product so they force you into making frequent replacement. This pair stinks! POS ripped after 6 months. I miss the original blue grip, the last pair lasted 6 years baby! I want durable product! This is the last time I'm buying Harbinger, they stink! Bring back the blue grip series man!
Have large hands? Read this before you buy.
June 19, 2014
I usually wear XL with no issues. These gloves are sized very small and tight! So tight, it restricted proper blood flow...and that's before I closed the Velcro wrist wrap! I didn't bother exchanging them for the next size up. Based on how the XL felt on my hand, I came to the conclusion that even the XXL might be too small. I realize gloves have a tendency to stretch-out over time with use, but wasn't going to wait for these "tourniquets" to stretch out. For me, these gloves are too bulky, restrictive and would be extremely hot to wear during exercise. I couldn't wait to get them off; and struggled to do so...was ready to cut em off.

These gloves were one of the worst pair of work gloves I have ever purchased either ...
January 19, 2015
These gloves were one of the worst pair of work gloves I have ever purchased either on line or in store as well as the worst pair I have ever worn. They seemed like one of the best purchases I could have made at the time,a pair of gloves that would protect my wrists for only a measly $16 ? I thought it was an easy decision to make whether to buy them or not. Much to my disdain, however,I noticed a couple of problems with the gloves when I first purchased them. The first problem that I noticed when I purchased them was that the opening for the pinkie was way too large. This made it extremely awkward to hold weights because all of my other fingers were able to get a good grip but my pinkie always had that extra space in the glove to deal with. Furthermore, after I had the gloves for some time I began to notice that tears were developing in an increasing number on the inside of the gloves. I realized that it was only a matter of time before the gloves became completely unusable and useless to me so I went and bought a new pair. I would suggest never buying this pair in the first place and saving your money by investing it in something that you know will last and will perform as advertised.
