I've used straps, gloves, etc. and found these are perfect replacements for all. If you use straps for shrugs, deadlifts, etc., the grip on these is so good that you no longer need the straps. Large is a Perfect fit for medium male hands. In use everyday for a month...no signs of distress. They work March 28, 2015 Been using these gloves on a regular basis (5-6 days a week) and absolutely love them. I am an avid crossfit person. I do Cleans, Snatches, Pull-Ups, Deadlifts, ETC. almost daily. I have built strong calluses on my hands over the past 6 months but the gloves I was using were just making them worse. After workouts my hands/palms would be throbbing in pain and the calluses would look nasty. Ever since I started wearing these gloves I do not get that constant pain anymore. My calluses have fully re-hardened and no longer hurt after workouts. I have no say, these gloves are amazing and I don't understand how anyone could give these less than 5 stars. Personally, I do not like the feeling of gym gloves because they cover my whole hand and I get really sweaty and hot so I don't like the feeling of my hot sweaty hands being covered in hot sweaty gloves, it is a horrible feeling with all that hot air trapped in there. These gloves leave your hand open leaving the back of your hand exposed for air to flow and it feels great. They are put together well, do not feel flimsy or cheap at all (again I don't understand what the people are talking about that say they fell apart), and the wrist support is nice. These are awesome, these are awesome, and these are awesome. I've been using them for a while now and they are FAR from falling apart. I think they will last a long time and if anything ever happens to them I will purchase the same exact ones again. I like it very much and wear each time I go to the gym. If you need one, then buy this one. Only trouble is getting the Velcro on evenly but that just might be operator error.I've never tried a product like this; the best I can compare it to is a back brace I wear when my back issues flare up. Both are Velcro, only differences is that my back brace is more firm and has "draw strings" to tighten. This product has pretty sturdy Velcro and is not too thick so wearing it under a shirt is not too noticeable. Will update in a few weeks or so when I wear this product more. Favorite waist trimmer by far! May 28, 2014 This is my 4th waist trimmer I've purchased and they were all different brands and styles. This one is definitely my favorite so far!!! I've tried the Ballys zippered one which was great at first but once you start losing water weight/fat, you can no longer wear it cause the smallest zipper may not be snug enough at that point. I switched to all velcro ones after that. Then I even tried this really cheap one I found at Marshall's for like $9 and it had Velcro from top to bottom, the problem with that is the Velcro along the top will stick out and scratch against your skin, so uncomfortable! This belt however fixes the problem by only using a small panel of Velcro, which makes it adjustable to your liking and extremely comfortable. The material is the best out of all the others I've tried and it will make you sweat like crazy! Kind of gross but one time I took it off in the locker room at the gym and a little puddle of sweat fell onto the floor! My only gripe is that the price went down right after I bought it for around $16 and now it's like $10, still worth it though! I also am no longer in top physical shape and am in the process of starting a work out regiment to get back into shape. I wanted a slimmer for dual purposes. First, I wanted a continuous reminder to make sure I used proper mechanics when preforming exercises as well as an aid when exercising.Enter the Yasco Adjustable Waist Trimmer.I have tried several other slimmer belts. Those belts, unfortunately, only lasted a few weeks at most.The Yasco Adjustable Waist Trimmer is made of durable materials. It has double stitching and I can tell it was built to last. The velcro is sturdy and feels like it can be used and re-used without suffering a shortened lifespan. The excess of the belt is not tremendous and, when you continue with the wrap, it does not feel bulky or bunched up around your waist. While exercising and sweating a tremendous amount the belt stayed in place around my waist. I did not have to stop once to pull it down off my ribcage which sometimes occurs with others belts.The most important aspect of this belt, at least for me, was that it provided support for my waist and backside through each exercise and helped to continuously remind me to preform proper body mechanics.After exercising I had to rinse off and hang in the shower to dry because it was absolutely soaked and dripping with sweat.Overall a very important yet overlooked piece of equipment to ones work out gear. October 7, 2015 Fit perfectly but wish there was something to indicate which is right and which is left without having to put them on. Also I have smaller wrist and the wrap tends to overreach so I kinda which the soft side of the Velcro extended further. Mud run must have September 2, 2015 I used these once for a mud run and performed well. Light, had good grip even with mud on them, and provided great wrist support for the obstacles that could've cracked a wrist. Regarding sizing, I am a female with sort of big hands for a woman and got the larger size. The finger fit others complained about is definitely there but it didn't inhibit what I needed them for. If you need gloves for a mud run, these fit the bill. I have no idea how they do with lifting. Helps with callus prevention, but weakens grip. April 17, 2015 These have helped with callus prevention, which is what I was hoping for, but they essentially add a little extra diameter to the bar on the weights so my grip isn't as strong. This is making my hands tired faster so I've noticed I'm doing fewer reps on some exercises. I'll try these for a bit longer but may need to find something thinner. Reliable and Well Built February 4, 2015 Used daily for the past two months with only one minor discrepency. After a while the bottom edges of the pad will seperate from the wrist wrap. (The two stay connected due to heavy stitching of the borders) Actually, this is not a bad thing since it allows for more air to my sweaty palms and doesn't affect the primary usage of the gloves. The wrist wrap velcro is still good and since there is no leather they don't stink or harden after extensive usage. I purchased a back up pair thinking I would need them after 6-8 weeks of almost daily use, but no, the originals are still going strong. I'm guessing another 4-6 weeks or even longer! | 19% Great company to do business with and great product but make sure you measure your self first March 6, 2017 I originally was disappointed in the width of the felcro as it is less than the belt and during certain exercises it folded over and was uncomfortable. I left feedback to that affect. I was surprised,when unsolicited ,I received an email from Comfylife regarding my feedback. They suggested that the belt I ordered was too small. (I ordered it based on my pants size) and I needed to order a belt based on measuring myself around my belly. The company was very polite and considerate and sent me for no extra charge a larger belt that I like a lot! I would buy form these folks again! Nice! July 10, 2016 After using the product I felt like it was bear hugging me. I could only use it for less than one hour before it got at high compression.If I was in the right mind set I guess I would not mind the higher level of compression, but on normal days I keep the compression low for longer duration. The waist belt doesn't bother me a bit in any type of movement, but it does get sweaty and sticky on the inside of the belt (summer heat in Texas). Good quality, lasts awhile without a lot of stretching November 23, 2015 I bought this before all the waist trimmer trends to help get some tummy weight off after twins. Fit well, works great. I would not recommend using for more than 2 hours at a time. Let your skin breathe. I would never sleep in this like others have. I still use on occassion, but velcro has worn out a bit...its been about 3 years since I've purchased. Great for a man, but there are nicer more feminine styles out there now for women. Good belt June 13, 2015 I had an adjustable belt from a different manufacturer that I loved (it had three zippers so you could cinch in more as you lost inches), but I shrunk so small it no longer fit and they don't make a smaller version. I ordered this one based on online reviews and I like it. I used to wear it all the time to workout - as most women who've had kids will relate: it kept my jiggly bits in place during high-impact activities and supported my lower back (kind of a cheap man's SI belt). My only complaint is that when I would wear a cotton top, moisture would pool at the top and bottom and the cotton would just wick it up, leaving me with noticeable wet patches at the top and botttom of the belt. This was not as bad with lycra tops, so I just wore those instead. Awkward Fitting at First May 14, 2015 So it definitely doesn't fit as sungly as it shows on the picture it gaps at the top for me and it takes a few tries to get it where I don't think it comes off. I'll admit I was ready to give this a one star review because when you first put it on the gapping at the top is annoying and it doesn't feel like it fit right, but the material does not move, just wrap it tight and smooth as you can its not going anywhere. I zumba so I'm moving my waist a lot and it stays on fine. It does take a while to get used to and then your sweat kind of adheres it to your body and its just like a shirt. My waist was drenched in sweat when I took this off. Definitely don't give up on this keep going through your work out and it'll be worth it. good product May 27, 2014 Having been cursed with a bad back is a bit like sailing with no wind - frustrating and really slows you down. I have found that back braces retard muscle development and overall create dependency. These neoprene belts offer a tactile feel of support, buty also warmth that keeps the muscles loose and limber. I have had several and really wanted something wider than the average belt (maybe 8"). This was the widest belt i could find, but is a little thinner that i would prefer. Another irritant is that the velcro closure is the full width of the belt, so often it could rub and irritate your skin if you are not careful. But for me being taller - i love the width. It covers my whole Lumbar spine and gives me a feeling of being together. I'm hot natured enough already and don't like anything creating more heat than is already being produced. I don't feel that there's much benefit to wearing this, even aside from the heat generation. With all of that being said, the reason this is getting 3 stars instead of 1 is because my wife wears this thing and actually likes it. She thinks that it somehow works her body better because of the increase in sweat. I don't necessarily agree with this but I have to take her word into consideration because she's used the product more extensively than I have. So we'll meet in the middle. July 18, 2014 I thought I was buying some sort of "under clothes slimming girdle type" device. This is NOT that.This is some kind of neoprene belt that makes you sweat and therefore "lose water weight" which is in turn supposed to make you slim. Thus it is called a "slimming belt".You could wrap it tightly around your middle and wear it underneath your clothes; however, you will most likely have sweatstains on your shirt. I suppose if you buy it for what it supposed to do its fine product. But, it is not the supportive-undergarment-device that I expected it to be. Nice and Wide. February 6, 2014 This belt is wider that most sauna belts, which is what I was looking for. The only downer is that the Velcro part is not as wide as the belt, therefore it does not tighten the top and bottom part and make it fan out a little. It works ok. They both have a tag on it that reads 'L'. Also the wrist wrap isn't going to protect your wrists at all. Comfortable, but can't take serious workout abuse before ripping April 19, 2016 I bought these gloves to use in crossfit, and I only used these for 3 days (3 hours total) with some pull-ups, clean & jerks, and overhead presses. They didn't last that long before they began to tear, and they tore where most of the stress was on them from the bar (when rotating on the pull-up bar or on the barbell). But then again, I go hard on my workouts and unfortunately these gloves weren't able to keep up.The gloves are comfortable to wear and wrist support is good, and if you don't move your wrists much and keep the pad in place, they'll work well for protecting your palm. But if you're going to be aggressive in your workouts, invest in the leather material as the neoprene is softer and tears much easier. For the price, I'm not to mad about how much use I got out of them, but lesson learned. Great gloves until they ripped April 14, 2016 Product arrived in good condition. Not good for everyone April 13, 2014 I see a lot of reviews from people claiming to be in good shape, but this isn't one of them. They say it's great, fits well, comfortable. If you're overweight like me, have rolls or extra skin or anything like that, you're going to have a different experience.First off, the velcro barely covers half the height of the belt. This makes the belt tightest and most supportive in the middle and not at all at the top or bottom. When you're just sitting in it this is less of a problem, but when you're doing cardio like so many say they do wearing it, the top in particular is problematic at least in part due to this lack of velcro. If you have any back skin/rolls the belt will move and/or roll as you workout. You'll constantly feel like it's moving whether it is or your skin is, and it's most distracting. This might be lessened or cured altogether if the manufacturer had had the foresight to make the velcro run the full length (height) of the belt or at least had two velcro closures (ie top and bottom not middle).It didn't cost too much, but I'm not sure how much help it's going to be. January 19, 2015 These gloves were one of the worst pair of work gloves I have ever purchased either on line or in store as well as the worst pair I have ever worn. They seemed like one of the best purchases I could have made at the time,a pair of gloves that would protect my wrists for only a measly $16 ? I thought it was an easy decision to make whether to buy them or not. Much to my disdain,however,I noticed a couple of problems with the gloves when I first purchased them.The first problem that I noticed when I purchased them was that the opening for the pinkie was way too large. This made it extremely awkward to hold weights because all of my other fingers were able to get a good grip but my pinkie always had that extra space in the glove to deal with. Furthermore, after I had the gloves for some time I began to notice that tears were developing in an increasing number on the inside of the gloves. I realized that it was only a matter of time before the gloves became completely unusable and useless to me so I went and bought a new pair.
