Comfortable, inexpensive, and very nicely put together.
July 5, 2017
I have to say that I was shocked at the fit and finish of these gloves--they were perfect. Time will tell as to durability, but they are very comfortable with the breathable backing. I can say that I've never owned a pair of lifting gloves that were put together as well as these. I am dubious as to how long the reinforcing pads on the thumbs will last, but I don't think you can go wrong with these gloves in the sub $15.00 range.
YOKED
June 13, 2017
I work out with it everyday. I bought it about a month ago and it's still intact. Some fabric that's not in the stitching is a little flimsy but it's not a critical problem. It prevents the weights from shredding my hands. It doesn't provide wrist support. I have a 9 inch hand and found that the smaller fit works well.
Comfy and well fitting
April 2, 2017
I just received these last week and have put them through a couple of workouts and even a bike ride. They do offer a good amount of protection and so far I love them. My previous set was very old and worn out. Let's see how these hold up to 5 days at the gym lifting and performing other exercises, plus additional bike rides.
As advertised
August 30, 2016
These were exactly what I was looking for. I do crossfit and while these do not work most days, they do come in handy for when I need to protect my hands without some fancy crossfit specific glove. i.e. climbing a net wall, bear walks, sand bag lifts. The protection is great and I don't feel bad abusing these since they were not too expensive.I plan on buying these from this buyer when I need them again.
Great General Workout Gloves At A Great Price!
March 15, 2016
I do a fairly general workout a few times a week - about 15 minutes of strength training on a Bowflex, pushups, situps/crunches and then 45 minutes on an elliptical trainer. While my hands are not tender by any means, I would find that the pads of my hands would get a little sore at the end of the workouts. I had an old setup of similar gloves that I used but nook between the thumb and index finger wore out rapidly leaving a hole which was more irritating than not wearing gloves. When I went to look for a replacement set of gloves I quickly discovered a huge range in pricing. I decided to try a most cost effective set of gloves and if they failed quickly I would consider more expensive ones. The Harbinger gloves have been exceptional in all ways. Many gloves I have used in the past would get hard over time - likely due to being soaked in sweat from workouts - no such issue with these. I have found these gloves to be very flexible while still offer solid protection for the palm and base of the fingers. I have seen some reviews say that there is not much padding in the palms but I have not experienced this myself. I have used gloves with a lot of padding and these are not thick, but I find they keep my hands protected while still allowing good flex. All in all I feel these gloves are great for weight lifting and elliptical work.
Noob power-lifters wet dream
August 17, 2015
I bought these gloves when my lifting form started getting better and wanted to start adding weight. These gloves are AMAZING for breaking pr's (personal records). The aesthetics of the gloves are average, but I didn't buy these for there looks rather there functionality and I'm happy to say this product delivers on that end. I use these gloves for 3 workouts:BENCH-PRESS:Not the best for this exercise the gloves tend to fold up under the barbell causing discomfort, this might be due to my hands being large your experience may vary to mine. other then that it alleviates a lot of pressure on the palms of your hands to you can focus on just the weight your attempting to lift.SQUATS:In my opinion there is really no up/down side to this glove when squatting. The gloves could help with preventing the bar from rolling in your hands but I've never had any issues with that so I cant comment on that.DEAD_LIFTS:THIS is where these gloves really shine! When lifting without these gloves the bar digs into my palms and causes a ton of discomfort, causing me to focus on the pain in my palms rather then the weight I'm attempting to lift. With the gloves on, they alleviate so much pressure off your palms when performing the dead-lift you can focus %100 on performing the movement.CONCLUSION:If you just started weightlifting and want to protect your hands, I recommend these gloves.

Use the measurement guide wisely.
August 24, 2017
These are very good gloves for the price. The only caution I would suggest is using the hand measuring picture. I erroneously used the band with the arrow to measure (mine measured the maximum recommended size of 8 1/2 for the large size), when I should have used the dotted line instead which would have produced the same size but the minimum recommended size for the Extra Large size. Given the option of Large or Extra Large, I would have chosen the Extra Large, instead of the Large size.
Great product but
June 8, 2017
Great gloves if you just lift weights. Besides lifting weights I also do a lot of bar workouts such as pull-ups/chin-ups and parallel bar dips. These gloves are poorly designed for any bar exercises - they still leave huge callouses on your forearms. But other than that it's a great product and well made.
Nice gloves for the price
May 12, 2017
Purchased these entirely due to reputation of the company making them and the fact that they were offered at such a great price. After using them for a few weeks, I have no issues at all. They perform exactly as advertised and give great support, despite limited padding/bells an whistles. If there is any concern to be noted for a prospective buyer, it's the fact that sizing runs a bit small. I ordered a large, and while my hands aren't massive they measure between L and XL, with both sizes usually fitting. The L that I ordered on these are snug.... though not so much that they had to be returned. Just on the small enough side that it concerned me the first time I put them on.
Decent gym gloves

good durable gloves with leather padding. the scratch is abit small to close the gloves so it needs to be closed properly
Decent, inexpensive weightlifting gloves
January 17, 2016
I started back to they gym about 3 months ago and developed calluses on my hands just below my fingers, especially below my ring finger. These harbinger gloves were priced reasonably in comparison to others I looked at especially at sports stores. I am not competing in power lifting competitions or anything like that and was just looking for some hand protection to prevent the calluses when I lift. When they arrived and I tried them on they fit snug, as they are supposed to and what I like about them is they are breathable mesh on top with padded leather palms. So far, after a few weeks of using them they are holding up well and the calluses on my hands are going away.Nothing fancy but the price is right and they are definetely serving their purpose. I would buy them again and see no need at this time for anything more expensive.
Little big, but that's what happens when a woman accidentally order the mens!
July 11, 2014
I'm participating in a mud run soon, and it's kinda like a boot camp run, complete with ropes to swing on, and fences to climb. It was recommended that I wear these gloves to help ease the strain this will put on my hands. Although I haven't used these yet, I have tried them on and they seem of good quality. I think they will really be a huge help with some of the climbing tasks; I recently participated in an obstacle course during which we had to swing on money bars across a short distance and although I did it, my hands were brush burned after from the material on the bars.I would say these run a bit large, but I went back to the product page and realize that I totally missed in the description that these are a men's size small glove! Whoops! It works out; although they are a little big, they have a velcro fastener at the wrist that can be tightened as much as needed so I am sure they will stay in place. And actually, given that they are only slightly too big, I think that a woman's small would have been too small. (I do have large hands for such a small person).I'll have to try to remember to provide an update after my run (if I make it through!) to provide information on how they hold up and if they protect my hands as intended.UPDATEI made it through the mud run back in August 2014, and I have to confirm that these gloves were as valuable as expected, particularly on one part where I had to navigate through a series of tires swings hung with ropes to get past a mud pit. According to some of my friends participating, the ropes burned the hands, but I had no problem (I had a sunburned back, scratched and bruised legs, and I lost a toenail, but my hands were totally okay). I did only get the one use out of these; they were so muddy I opted to throw them in the "donate" bag. Apparently the run organizers were washing any run clothing that participants decided they didn't want to take home and clean themselves and the salvageable clothes were going to thrift stores. So maybe someone out there has my gloves right now. These definitely held up just fine to the beating they took. I'd recommend these for hand protection.

May 24, 2017
These fit correctly for the size but overall they fell apart sooner than I would have hoped. For the cost, it's not bad. Although I work out 3-4 for times a week, I only use gloves 2 days of the week consistently. Leg doesn't require gloves and neither does any cardio. At this rate the product starting falling apart around the one year time frame (stitching coming undone around thumbs). Padding was good, in the right place, and the materials were good. Not the best I've had but definitely not the worst. Solid 3 stars.

April 26, 2017
Gloves fit hands but the fingers are a bit shorter than anticipated due to ownership of other gloves past experiences.
Not Ideal for Small Hands
March 29, 2017
I like the strap and style of glove just they were pretty big and I ordered the smallest size available. Not sure how they would prefer if they fit correctly. Since hey are lose the grip isn't very good and make my hand tired after working out for awhile.
Good But Don't Last
September 20, 2016
So I've been using these gloves since about April. They are comfortable and provide just enough support and padding without hindering the wrist. The grip for metal and rubber weights is comfortable and the velcro is very good and lasts. My biggest reason for giving this 3 stars is they do not last. I ordered my first pair in mid April and one of the gloves started to rip along the seams after about 2 months of use. I wore it another 1.5 weeks before the seams ripped through about 3 of the fingers and it was no longer usable. Didn't think much of it just though it may have been a hokey pair so I ordered another in early July. Come mid September I ran into the same problem. The seam along one of the gloves is again ripping. It started along the inseam of the finger and am expecting it to only get worse within the coming days. In terms of use I am in the gym 4 times a week however I still feel 2.5 months should not be a reasonable life expectancy. I will be contacting Amazon to see what I can do about a replacement/refund.If you plan to use these for a a substantial amount of weightlifting I would suggest finding another pair however if these are for light to medium use then they are probably okay.
Cheap, but WAY too much dye!
September 20, 2015
Ok, well, I don't normally like writing bad reviews, but I've been using Harbinger gloves for my workouts for nearly 10 years now, and this new design is a major step backwards.First, the design of the velcro straps, while cooler-looking, is less comfortable and more difficult to use than the old style where each side was the same and they fit together naturally. This new style, you have to pull one side over to the other, and it feels like it pinches a little if you're pulling it tight enough to be secure.Second, and MOST annoying, is the amount of black dye they use in the leather! Every time I work out I rinse out the sweat from the gloves, and the water comes out black. MONTHS after I bought them, they still stain my hands with black. This has actually been a problem with these Harbinger gloves since the beginning, but I feel like this new style is even worse! I soaked them in my sink with some laundry detergent for a couple hours to try and get the excess dye out, and when I came back to the sink the water was black, and even after that, they still stain my hands when I work out! So annoying. If anyone has suggestions of gloves that don't do this, I'm all ears.
No good for weight lifting.
March 22, 2015
Folks, do not go by 'huge number' of reviews or stars. Search for honest opinion, from verified purchaser. In my humble opinion, rating these gloves from 1 - 10.Look and design: 10. Very good looking gloves.Use for weight lifting: '1' ! Why one ? Cause there is no padding on palm side . As if not using any gloves when lifting weights.I was once in Asia, and bought hell of cheap looking gloves, no brand no name, for $3 only on a street market, China made of course. Yet they were way better than this brand (think this Harbinger is made China, can't be USA!). Again it's the padding!Disappointed to see such great looking gloves, not for use for their intended/published purpose. Will use them for driving, sports car, bike, etc.

Way too small compared to other Harbinger gloves. Questionable stitching and materials
August 22, 2017
I have a pair of medium sized Harbinger all-leather gloves of a similar cost, that I use 3-5 days a week at the gym for probably the last 3 years. Well one seam ripped near the thumb on the palm so the medium might have been slightly too small and over stretched those gloves or something else. Time to replace. These gloves are just a different model from H arbinger, but I got them in a Large thinking that maybe my current Medium was slightly too small for me and over stretched the leather. Well these L arge gloves are way tighter than the medium that I have and it's very uncomfortable like that. I immediately thought I would just exchange them for XL, but decided to inspect them to see if that would be worth it. Well the stitching around the fingers looks poor and it looks like only part of the leather inner is real leather. Looks like part of that is pleather. So I won't be trying the XL size.I gave it 2 instead of 1 star because for the price they could be a decent working glove for someone, but honestly there are other better gloves in this price range.
Not recommended.
June 30, 2017
I have been using these for about 5 weeks, and already they are tearing at the seams where the fingers are stitched together. Other than that they work well. Look for another pair.
It seems they no longer make them like they used to
June 27, 2017
Their new gloves are complete junk. I owned a pair for years and they held up extremely well. I purchased this pair about 6 months ago and they're already falling apart. It seems they no longer make them like they used to.UPDATE: Harbinger contacted me and resolved the situation. Their customer support was great.
Loose stitches
May 27, 2017
Gave it 4 stars first but after using it for some months i finally decided (used it 3 times a week) to wash the gloves (i know i should've washed them earlier) for the first time. It got torn where the thumb is. The stitches got loose. So that's why i give it 2 stars now. As long as i can remember there were no washing instructions whether to hand wash or machine wash. The gloves also make your hands black every time i used them.
Get a Grip
April 14, 2017
These gloves aren't bad, but the Velcro strip adjustment bands are too thin, and the Velcro loses its adhesion during long use. I am constantly readjusting the bands to try to keep the gloves fitted to my wrists. It's annoying.Instead of this model, shop for Harbinger's gloves that have thick W-I-D-E adjustment bands. They work much much better. That said, these gloves perform adequately. Plan to replace them about once a year.
they leave a pretty intense itchy-rash on my knuckles
March 9, 2017
I think these things are under-sized. I have relatively small hands for a guy and got a large and these things are about two sizes too small for me. Also, they leave a pretty intense itchy-rash on my knuckles. I still wear them daily, but I would purchase a different brand if I did it over.

Updated 07/26/17:I've tried to contact harbinger via their web submission and they have not gotten back to me yet. This is highly disappointing as harbinger gloves have always been the bee's knees when it came to gloves. I guess I'll have to go elsewhere to source a replacement.07/21/17 Update:Gloves torn at finger after two months. Lowering rating to 1 star. It's a shame too...harbinger gloves used to last forever. I have yet to reach out to them but this is simply unacceptable.Original Review:Works great but I wish I had gotten the ones with the padding or maybe my hands just need to toughen up a bit...=)
stunk like sulfur!
May 10, 2017
I've always ordered Harbinger gloves without issue online from other sites. This time when I received the package and opened it, literally I had to gasp for air, the smell of sulfur/rotten eggs/ (pesticide?) smell was disgusting as it polluted my room. I washed them and they still stink. I don't mean to be funny or sound like I am making this up, I really need these gloves for the gym....wonder where they were stored or what was sprayed on them, and what was the person who packed these thinking? Ridiculous, sending them back!
... I literally wanted to throw them away never would recommend these to anyone
April 30, 2017
I purchased theses gloves to take to the gym well when I received them I will admit they had such a pungent smell to them I literally wanted to throw them away never would recommend these to anyone. It smelled like death and honestly just can believe something new would have a awful smell and I don't want to write a bad review but I feel its needed.
What was once a good brand has lost it's grip on design and durability
March 29, 2017
One glove developed a rip almost immediately, the other glove's velcro stopped attaching to itself in just a couple of months. Area to attach velcro is woefully small and inadequate workaround this. These are not even used heavily (approximately 45 minutes a day, 5 times a week).
Very nice fit, very comfortable for lifting
March 3, 2017
Very nice fit, very comfortable for lifting. Problem: in less than a month of 3-4/week use the side seam (on outside of hand) split open on both gloves. I'm not a heavy lifter and not abusing the gloves but the construction simply didn't hold up to even moderate use. Very disappointed.
Harbinger gloves simply don't hold up :/
October 10, 2016
Just as I predicted, only after a couple of months of normal use, the stitching has broken or has come apart. I have two holes in the right first finger and thumb. It's interesting that the product breaks down shortly after it being too late to request a return. I had another pair of Harbinger before these and the same thing happened with stitching. I do not recommend this brand for normal weightlifting use because they just won't hold up. It would be terrific if a company would stand behind their product and guarantee it would last for more than three months. I will never buy Harbinger again. They are cheap and I'm left with nothing but making it rain money into their pockets.
