Three ring circus
May 10, 2017
This is a fun toy for my English Bulldog pup. She's now five months old. She tosses it, chases it, chews it, carries it. It's been great during this teething period. I assume the process will go in for some time. She also likes the rattle of the rings. She's fun with this toy throwing this off of the couch on to her bed then diving on her bed to get it and chew. Very eventful.
This is great as the material makes it nearly indestructible
January 14, 2017
This is great as the material makes it nearly indestructible. It's definitely not for very small puppies though, more like ones over five pounds at least. The material makes it a little awkward for a very small puppy to carry around. Once he gets a little bigger I'm sure it will be a big hit. My Jack Russell loves it. She usually can destroy anything within a matter of minutes but this one has presented her with quite a challenge. She's gotten hold of it several times and it still looks brand new.
Great for heavy chewers.
September 5, 2016
Our puppy is a very very heavy chewer, she is a Australian shepherd / Coley mis. This 3 ring bone chew toy is a beast, absolutely worth getting if you have a heavy chewer. Our pup never chews on things unless we give it to her. She is a year old now and not as much heavy chewing but this is our second one. I would say this is best for Medium to large dogs, small dogs might get ring stuck on lower jaw as another reviewer said. By far the strongest chew toy we have ever had. We are dog people, always have a couple dogs, and this chew toy is the best I believe we have had in terms of it lasts a few months with heavy heavy chewing.
Great set!
January 26, 2016
This set gives you a few stages for puppies, the softer bone on the left is for young pups with no adult teeth, and the white bone in the middle is for pups who are getting their adult teeth in. The edible one on the right is also for pups 6 mo and older. All in all, very nice set. Sets you up for the first 6 months or so.The soft bone will break off in large chunks once your pup starts teething in earnest (or if they are a strong chewer) so keep an eye out.My puppy won't eat the chunks (she leaves them for me to step on) but some dogs will gobble them up and big chunks are not good for canine bodies.
Great puppy toy!
August 10, 2015
Haha, great puppy toy! When this toy was delivered, I figured I must've bought a baby toy by mistake, but sure enough it is Nylabone and super durable. Our big puppy absolutely loves this toy! She tosses in the air and chases it. She loves doing it inside on the hardwood floors because it makes a lot of noise. She is a total toddler with this! It's also one of her favorite fetch toys. She now has all her adult teeth and this thing is holding up unbelievably well. She is a Shepard/Belgian mix with big strong teeth.
PUPPY LIKES IT!!!
May 9, 2014
UPDATE: My puppy is 13 weeks old now and he loves it! I tied it to a short chord and he drags the teething rings, finds a good spot, and bam!, he chews up a storm; and when he isn't chewing them, he makes a game of it by dragging them across the floor and plays with them. Now the rings are a part of his "toys" he likes to drag around and have fun with. Thanks Nylabone!!My 8-week old puppy isn't using it - at least for now. He seems to be more interested in chewing on his other toys. I place it with his toys but he has yet to gravitate to it - will let you know if things change.

Long lasting plush toy
May 18, 2017
Like Marvin the Moose and his predecessors, I'm sure Rosie the Rhino will eventually end up as a giant pile of stuffing in my backyard sooner or later, but as for now, she is fighting the good fight and surviving my two dogs. The squeaker in these Kong Cozies is harder to squeak and it's not a very 'good' squeak, which honestly probably helps my case because the dogs are less motivated to shred her apart and get the coveted squeaker out to chew up. I'm happy with how the Kong Cozies have held up in terms of being a plush toy, and will buy another when this one is inevitably destroyed.
2 months with an aggressive chewer and it's still squeeking
February 17, 2016
Squeeky toys don't usually last long. This was given to my 85 pound aggressive chewer dog and it's still in pretty good shape about 2 months later. She did chew off the ears but it was well sewed so no harm. She also chewed off the tail, I did have to resew the tushy area but it's still going strong after that.
This is her favorite toy, I will try to get her other Kong toys like this now that I know they will last longer than most. They are her favorite toys to play with.
Another great Kong toy for my dog
January 2, 2016
My Maltese loves little toys he can carry around with him and try to get the squeaker out - this toy fit the bill! It's small and lightweight, so that he can take it wherever he wants (upstairs, my bed, etc). He's been digging and chewing to get the squeaker for days now and no small holes have formed like in similar toys. This is a very well-made product. Please click "yes" if helpful.

Her favorite toy.
Bought 6 Cozies so far
April 9, 2015
I have bought 6 KONG Cozie's and the quality seems to differ from each one. A little background information: We have two Dobermans. One loves to play with toys, he carries them around like a baby and brings one to bed every night. The other is rough on his toys and like to remove stuffing.

1. The pink elephant has stood the test of time. It's been about 3 months and Mr. pink elephant is still intact. He is usually the favorite to be taken to bedtime. The squeaker still works!

2. The moose is still going strong too, but for whatever reason isn't loved as much as the elephant.

3. The rabbit died rather quickly. Probably about 2 weeks before shreds of bunny ears were found scattered around the house.

4. The alligator didn't even make it a couple hours before being decapitated.

5. The Rhino is now split in two pieces, but Rocky still loves to carry around the halves. He dug in the trash to get them back when I tried to throw it away.

6. Lion- Hasn't been given to the dogs yet, we are moving and separating the dogs, this will be a gift to the one dog as an apology as his brother slowly destroys all his beloved toys.

puppy dino works for a teething kitten
February 11, 2017
i've been using the blue dino puppy version for my teething kittens. one kitten isn't fond of it, he wants something softer, the other loves it. they don't use it the same way my dogs have in the past, as in they dont chew for pleasure or for an extended period of time, but they do use it during the worst of teething. unlike many plastic chewing teething cat toys, this is firm enough that they can't break off pieces or swallow it (look at kitten teething toy reviews, it is scary dangerous) which gives me peace of mind. i've nudged it down a star because i do wish the chickeny smell would last a little longer, its a finicky thing, but it does help draw kittens to the toy. i've been smearing some toothpaste on it so they can start getting used to that before i start brushing teeth, and that seems to attract them enough to chew on it.

January 14, 2017
We've gone through 3 of these, the pups love them. The last one we purchased one ring cracked and broke in pieces after the first day, but the other 2 we've got in the past have held up. Not a toy for an aggressive larger breed puppy, the plastic will not hold up, & ends up piecing off. The youngest puppy hasn't destroyed hers, she's 4mo. 30lbs, still has puppy teeth. But older one has adult teeth a smaller dog & he can destroy one in a couple weeks, just depends on the dog how it'll hold up. They are an inexpensive add on so we don't mind replacing them.
A lifesaver for hyper dog at night!
June 24, 2016
My puggle was only mildly interested in this while teething, but now at a year and a half, it has become a bedtime requirement to have his "chewy" before we go to sleep. It's very calming to him, like a pacifier for a baby. Once he's calm, he'll just curl up and go to sleep.Definitely not a soft teething toy, though. I'm a little puzzled why it's marketed that way. Seems about right for a moderate chewer of small to medium size. Would probably deform and shred too quickly with a larger dog or an aggressive chewer. Mine takes his time shredding stuffed animals, and over a few months has worn this toy down.
Good value, decent chews
May 25, 2015
I'm not sure that I would recommend this set to everyone because my puppy has been hot and cold with the different types, EXCEPT that at this price, why wouldn't you try them? My Chessie puppy likes the white bone, is indifferent about the softer rubber one, and LOVED the edible one. The edible bone also lasted almost a full week, which was great. I have since bought a pack of what I thought were the same edible Nylabone chews, but the ones I bought didn't last nearly as long. My puppy eats one in a sitting. Wish I could have a dozen more of the edible bones found in this package without buying a dozen more sets!
Like it says, it's for PUPPIES
May 14, 2015
I have had multiple puppies through the years and have tried using Nylabones for their chewing needs. My first puppy (10 years ago), a beagle, hated them and wanted nothing to do with them. My second puppy (4 years ago) Beagle/Australian Shepherd Mix chewed on one for about 10 minutes and then never touched it again. My most recent puppy who is currently 12 weeks old (German Shepherd) is loving them. Every time I look at him he's chewing on it. This is purely a PUPPY product though. My older dog who is currently 4 years old got a hold of the softest one, took one bite, and it crumbled to bits. I loved buying this on Amazon too because it was like a $4 add on item instead of paying $10 at a pet store. If it wasn't so cheap I never would've bought it because my other puppies never cared for them. If you're puppy likes to chew you might try this product. But I would suggest buying it cheap on Amazon just in case your puppy hates it.
My heavy chewer lives for the white bone!
February 4, 2014
My puppy is a massive chewer, as we found out when we walked upstairs to a living room of green stuffing, and a murdered toy bear. I decided to try this Puppy Started Kit since it didn't cost much and it had a lot of good reviews. The brown bone broke pretty quickly, so we had to take it away. The long-lasting treat was fun for him, and didn't exactly last long, but he loved it. But the white bone... he has to take it to his kennel with him, make sure and bring it out of the kennel, and play with it constantly. He absolutely loves it, and it actually lasts a couple of months before the ends are super worn and we have to take it away. I've been shocked at how well two have held up to his massive chewing. Wish I could just buy the white one! Would have been 5 stars if the brown bone held up for more than 10 minutes.

February 6, 2017
For a stuffed toy this thing has held up pretty great with two small dogs and a pup playing with it constantly. It's taken them a while to actually tear the thing up a little. Which is my fault for leaving the toy out constantly without supervising them while they play. My dachshund tears toys up in 5 mins and she's gotten ahold of this toy a few times which is why it has a few holes in it. But it's still in one piece besides the few small holes. It's definitely harder for them to rip apart than a normal stuffed toy.
My tiny puppy loves her
February 3, 2017
Only reason not 5 stars is mine came with broken squeaker, which I didn't realize until I had already opened the package and thrown the the tags away. Just got a new puppy and was excitedly preparing for the big homecoming, getting some toys ready, and this was her first toy.

She is a 3-pound 9-week old, and of course, she needs to mouth things and nibble. So we keep this nearby (we got the small size which is perfect for her) and when she starts to get too nippy with us, we use this to refocus her. She loves it, especially the elephant's tail. In fact, it's in a constant wet (gross) slobber state from her gnawing.

We also have the green alligator, which is firmer than the elephant and has that tiny tail she loves to chew. It's squeaker is hard for her to squeak.
Better than your average stuffy
January 4, 2017
I have ordered several (probably 10 by now) of the KONG stuffed toys. They seem to be the only ones that hold up for more than 10 minutes. I was a little disappointing in this order though because I requested the blue dog and got the blue and pink lion. Not a huge deal because my dogs don't know the difference but the blue lions pink hair is kind of a pain when they pull it off and leaves hot pink fuzzies all over the place.

Our favorite KONG stuffed toys are the alligator because it has the least hanging body parts. My dog chews the parts off and swallows them... luckily they seem to pass without issue. We also like the pink elephant a lot. It has seemed to hold up the longest for whatever reason. Least favorite is the lion because of the pink fuzzy hair. The moose got ripped to shreds right away... My dogs had it out for him from the get go.

I like ordering these from Amazon because they sell for almost triple in the pet store. Since they go fast, I can order 2-3 at a time for the same price. Don't expect them to be some amazingly strong stuffed toys. They are above average for a plush animal but if your dog is determined, they will have it in pieces within minutes. Sometimes they last because our dogs play nice and other times my living room is covered in "stuffy snow" right away. With out big girl swallowing legs and arms whole, we also play what stuffy is that in the yard bombs.
But they make her so happy - so I always give in and buy her ...
August 3, 2016
My furchild LOVES stuffed animals. She loves to lay down and cuddle with them as well as run around and shake & play with them.
I keep saying I won't buy her any more every time I find myself cleaning stuffed animal fluff from across the house.
But they make her so happy - so I always give in and buy her more hoping they will withstand her tough love.
I am happy to report that these do last longer than most stuffed animals do. Sadly - she had disembowled them within the month.
The Rhino has lasted much longer than the alligator - who she proudly carries around fluffless now.
I would warn you to watch your pup though - I had to make sure to confiscate the squeaker from her once she had unintentionally killed the gator
Smaller than I expected, but dog likes it
April 29, 2016
UPDATE UPDATE: 14 months after purchase, our cocker spaniel's "baby" (the blue dog) finally needs to be replaced. It's been fetched from the pool countless times, carried around the house and yard, and lovingly chewed on. Definitely ordering another today.

UPDATE: After constant play and adoration for several months, this toy IS HOLDING UP! Yesterday it finally had a tear in the ear and in the tail, but this is one tough little chew toy. My dog isn't a manic toy destroyer, but he has chewed the covering off dozens of tennis balls and has chewed the stuffing out of other toys very quickly, so I think it's safe to say this little pup is tougher than most similar dog toys. Plus it's just adorable and washable and cute. My dog thinks it's his baby.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: "Medium" is small - it's about the size of two and a half tennis balls. My English Cocker Spaniel thinks it's okay, and he does carry it around, but I was expecting something a little larger and with less stuffing. It feels very slimy after he's had it in his mouth.

"Flexible" Ring toy is hard plastic
July 5, 2017
The packaging on this says it is flexible so I assumed it was like the Nylabone flexible puppy bone our puppy absolutely loves. However, when this arrived I found it is hard plastic. The flexible part must be because it is interconnected so they consider that flexible? Doesn't seem like a definition of flexible to me. Just know if your dog likes Nylabone softer chews and dislikes the harder ones for heavy chewers, this won't be a favorite.
BEST for a BIG puppy
December 15, 2016
I liked the idea of a Nylabone teething set for puppies, but I was quite surprised by the BIG components. My puppy is a mini Aussie, aged 10 weeks, and the rings are too big for her to actually chew on.Since my puppy's mouth is too small to actually chew on and of the pieces, I can only share that I think the plastic is too hard for the small dogs' mouths. Puppies need something safe to chew on that has some yield to the material, to satisfy the teething drive.Maybe I missed finding the Nylabone Teething toy for small dog breeds' puppies, but I won't bother trying to find it because my little puppy likes a different Nylabone chew toy just fine.
Tough "bones" for my puppy
June 3, 2016
My little pit bull mix puppy is uninterested in these. Even though she is teething and chewing on sticks, rocks, flower pots and anything else she can get into her mouth, I find these laying around the house and yard untouched. Hmm...Not sure why- because ((( I ))) think they are a good idea!! They might be a little too tough for her. They seem well-made, and I love that they are safe for dogs to chew on. But then again, I'm not the one who has to chew on them!! (She did gobble up the softest one in one day. But then, she GOBBLES UP everything she finds tasty!!)
this is a useless product for her
April 24, 2016
We had to be careful. Our puppy chewed through the synthetic bone very quickly and was swallowing pieces of synthetic bone. We had to take it away from her because of this-- we tried twice. Because she could break it apart with her teeth, grinding down the chew into bits, this is a useless product for her. However, she did seem to like the taste of it-- I just wish she wouldn't eat it. I am giving it three stars because the white bone is still unscathed--it's very hard and seems indestructible, but she also can't chew on it. We have found some hard rubber chews by other companies that she can chew on happily but not break since this time, so we know it's possible to find that happy medium.
I do like this pack
February 4, 2016
I do like this pack, but buyer beware! It's quite misleading. I gave my puppy the chicken flavored one this is supposed to last and the first day, little pieces started coming off, so I read the fine print on the back of the package. Even though this product shows a puppy on the package and is marketed as a puppy starter kit, the fine print tells you that it is not for puppies under six months of age. It's not meant for sharp little puppy teeth and is poorly marketed. She loved the edible one and it was gone in an hour, and the white one has vanished but she did chew on that one for quite a while with no damage. Just make sure you know before you buy, and put the chicken flavored one up until their adult teeth have come in.
Good, but supervision is required
November 16, 2015
Bought these for my puppy, but when she left it alone one of my other dogs picked up the teething plastic bone (the brown one that isn't marked "edible"). In the 5-10 minutes he had it, my full-grown mini schnauzer managed to shatter it in half, then tear off and swallow several pieces. Just for reference, he is not a power chewer, and weighs 16lbs soaking wet. This was definitely my fault for not watching my pets closely enough!BUT if you have a large breed puppy, or a pup with strong jaws I would be very careful with that brown plastic bone. The white one is quite durable, and my little girl really likes the edible one.

Some styles last, others not so much
April 30, 2017
It was okay for a while - we've had several of these Kong toys. For some reason, the alligator has held up really well, but Floppy the Rabbit came apart at the seams of the front legs on both sides. We also had the moose, it didn't last a week. We'll try another style - our dog really likes these toys.
Cute, but not for chewers
March 27, 2017
We got this because we had gotten other KONG toys. In fact, I am pretty sure we had this same exact one. It took our pup probably six months to get to the point where he had destroyed it, but this one only lasted about a month. It just doesn't hold up to the chewing. If your pup does not chew as much as actually play with these, then I feel like this, and similar toys would be great to have. However, with any sort of chewer, it is just throwing money down the drain on top of constantly having to pick up stuffing.
Adorable but not for chewers
March 1, 2017
This pink bunny was so cute & soft, I couldn't resist. I bought it for my Golden Retriever thinking KONG might make strong toys. It lasted only 2 weeks and that was with supervision/ reminders no chewing... The fur is really soft but (like most toys) once it gets wet with saliva then it's kind of stiff.I think this bunny is perfect for a smaller dog who doesn't like to chew/ pick at their toys. 😄
Way too big for my needs and came in the wrong color.
December 15, 2016
They sent the wrong color and it was about twice as big as I thought it would be... they kindly offered to exchange it, but it was too late, so I just returned it without any problem. If you got the color you wanted and had something larger than a kitten to give it to, it could be a great toy. I can see a 12 week old puppy absolutely loving this and carrying/dragging it everywhere. If you have a 12 week old Golden Retriever, GO FOR IT!!The problem with the color, by the way, was a mismarking at the factory, it "said" it was the color I wanted, but just wasn't.

... Cozie Alligator for Christmas last year and it's their favorite toy. They both carry it around
November 29, 2014
My doggies got a Kong Cozie Alligator for Christmas last year and it's their favorite toy. They both carry it around, chew on it, sleep with it, and have never torn a hole in it or damaged it in any way. I bought this Kong Monkey so they wouldn't have to share the alligator. My dogs took to the monkey immediately, sleeping with it, carrying it around, etc. Unfortunately, within one week, I noticed one of the monkey's paws is already coming apart, as is the big seam along the belly. The belly seam appears to have been sewed together crudely, with big loose stitches. I'll mend it by hand but would not buy this toy again. I will order the dogs another Kong alligator.

Not for Bullies
May 8, 2016
I got a single nylabone from the pet store for my puppy when he was 4 months old and he loved it. Now that he's 8 months old I ordered the 3 pack - he was able to quickly chomp the first one into 4 large chunks and swallow them whole. The bones in this package seemed more rubbery and bendable than the first one I got. Really a bummer to have him throw up all over his bed at 5am and be so uncomfortable. The rest went in the trash. If you have a bully breed with a strong chomp, these might not be the best idea.
Breaks into pieces and can't digest
March 22, 2016
At first I was very happy with these, then like other reviewers I started to hear negative things about them. Also noticed that the bones were breaking off into pieces and my puppy would gag on them and then throw the pieces up. Then there was a major recall on them for samonela, then there was a facebook post going around about a lady who had her two dogs die from eating them...too much bad press for me and since my dong was getting sick off them, even though she LOVES to chew them I was too nervous. Will look into another brand.
Not for dogs with ANY adult teeth
August 18, 2015
I usually love Nylabone BUT the dogs wanted nothing to do with the white one, I did not feed the edible and that was probably a good thing due to them being recalled right after I got them. They soft brown one on the other hand my older dogs were basically doing gymnastics trying to steal it from the foster puppy so the smell must be good. Bad part about the puppy Nylabones are that they are not for dogs with any adult teeth and as we all know puppies start teething fast. But the worst part with that is that if you have a multi dog household you are going to have to watch who gets these. I would recommend skip puppy ones if you have adult dogs it is just too hard to keep track of which are which and takes the fun out of it for the dogs when you have to take them away go with the adult dog toys in my opinion.
Dog is ignoring this after a few days
February 6, 2015
My puppy was chewing on absolutely everything he could get his hands on. While other toys from this brand are great, this one was just okay. He didn't seem all that into playing with it after a couple of days. I suspect it was because he couldn't get a good grip on it because it moves and collapses every time he tries to get a hold of it between his paws or chomp on it. If the pieces could be linked together in such a way to make them lay flat, it might work better.
My guys love the white bone, are indifferent to the others
October 2, 2014
For some odd reason, my dogs (giant French sheepdogs/Briards) only like the white one. Different material? i have to wonder what the difference is. So for me this makes it one bone for the price of three. This just might be my boys, but I have to give it a low rating under the assumption (as there's no information to help me here) that the white bone is the only one that counts, making this much more expensive then it deserves to be. Perhaps, Nylabone, you might consider selling 3 packs, or whatever, of just the individual single colors.

August 8, 2014
Just got a new puppy and she LOVES to chew everything! And when I say everything, I mean everything (carpet, walls, furniture, oven, rocks, etc). These are probably her least favorite toy and she will only take a couple of bit before dropping them and moving onto something more interesting. I think the combination of hard plastic/no taste is what she doesn't like (as she will chew on softer toys with no taste and harder toys with taste with no problem). It is probably just the preference of the dog, but these did not work for mine.

Much smaller than expected, squeaker DOA
May 10, 2017
Received this Marvin the Moose Kong toy today, after the usual quick and prompt delivery through Amazon Prime. I hv to say I was very disappointed. It seems to be pretty rugged, but it is smaller than I expected and the squeaker was already pretty well dead when we received it. My dog (65-lb Golden mix) loves squeaker toys - he loves to carry them around in his mouth squeak-squeak-squeaking his way through the house or office. He quickly lost interest when he wasn't able to get much of a squeak out of it at all. But it does appear to be well-made, and as one reviewer noted above, you can definitely tell the difference between your stand squeaky toy and this one, you can feel a stronger material under the outer fluffy coating. Next time I will order the large or extra large and hope the squeaker isin better condition!
This is the second Kong I bought but it wasn't durable like advertised.
April 19, 2017
The bunny was well received by my friends' dog (that's why I gave it two stars) but the ear didn't hold up and was torn off after having the toy for 24 hours. Very disappointing with the product. This is the second Kong I bought but it wasn't durable like advertised.
Not durable.
March 20, 2017
Kong is usually a durable brand to go with. After reading through so many positive reviews I decided to take a chance on the Pink Elephant. I have a one year old pit-bull and gave this to her when it arrived. The ears were the first thing to rip apart from the body within an hour. She then had the seams to the body torn apart within 4 hours of various playtime. After the stuffing was gone she basically just carried the fabric around like a prize and is slowly shredding it to smaller pieces as I write this review. Sadly, the overall toy lasted all of 5hours max. Will not buy again.
Not so durable
February 27, 2017
After reading many positive reviews about how durable this toy was I couldn't wait to finally get Sparky a toy that should last more than a few hours. Shortly after opening the package though...., I was disappointed. I thought Kong toys were supposed to be extremely tough, but within 5 minutes of receiving Marvin the Moose, my 1 year old German Shepherd had already chewed off both ears, removed the squeaker along with the fluff and was working on the antler. Marvin is a cute toy, however I would not recommend it as a "durable" product.
Lasted less than an hour with my Cocker Spaniel
February 17, 2017
Lasted only an hour, but my cocker spaniel loved it the entire time! I will say, I was impressed by the sturdy mesh on the inside of the toy. I am going to try to apply a patch to the outside, it is too mangled to even try to sew up. I put it up to dry before trying to fix it and my poor dog acted like I tried to kill him. He obviously was won over by this cute little toy!Given which dog mangled this, I can't give it more than 2 stars. Usually my Cocker has a softer touch, but maybe my little dog with his dagger teeth has worn off on my formerly nice dog. I do have to give them props for the inside with the mesh--it is definitely better than the toys I paid twice as much for at PetSmart that were supposed to be hard to destroy. I poked at it some and the mesh is pretty heavy duty. Obviously though, it's on the inside. Nothing terribly sturdy about the outside, though I think my dog did work a bit for it to rip him open. It ripped NOT on a seem though, which usually the first to do so that was a little disappointing.
Adorable but NOT Durable!
February 3, 2017
At first I was thrilled when these Kong plush toys arrived for our dogs (I purchased 4 of them in all different styles for our four Goldendoodle dogs' holiday stockings). They were adorable, well made, and seemed perfect. I was expecting them to last for awhile being that they are KONG brand and usually pretty durable, however that was not the case after the first day of our dogs playing with them. Two of them ripped almost immediately, causing the cotton-like puffy stuffing to be pulled out and scattered all through our house. Our older dogs know better that to eat the stuffing from any toy, but our two puppies are still too young to know better and did eat some of the stuffing before I could get it away from them. The idea that they were designed with a rope inside the body, arms and legs of this toy, making them more durable and stronger, was ideal. However, I hadn't realized that there was also a ton of stuffing inside also, resulting in a huge mess and choking hazard for my dogs.Again, these are beautiful plush toys that may work well for dogs who simply like to snuggle with a plush toy, but they are not ideal for dogs who actually enjoy chewing on their toys.Overall, I would have to say that I am disappointed in this product and would NOT purchase again in the future. I would also NOT recommend them for other people with puppies or any pets that might chew thru the material and ingest the stuffing.

Don't buy, DANGEROUS.....
August 23, 2017
Courtesy it's HARD Plaxico. (Brittle hard plastic). Second, it has a very faint smell of bacon but because the material used to make this is so smooth and so hard it's not for teething. Third. .you make it sound like it's hard but PLYABLE rubber. It's not at all. But it would cost me more than its worth so you make your money and I'm out of mine. It was dropped from about 4 ft and one of the rings on it shattered! Not safe for animals or children!
This toy should not be given to any dog!

This should not be given to any dog. This is an extremely hard plastic toy and should not be used for teething, as it is advertised, as it would just break off or wear down the teeth. Adult dogs shouldn't have this either, for the same reason. I'm really surprised it is even produced and marketed as a puppy toy. This is dangerous for your dog's mouth. Don't buy it.
For my dog, this product was a waste of money.

For reasons unknown to me, my dog didn't care fire these bones. He refused to chew on them and they ended up just being one more thing to pick up. He did seem like natural bone products to chew on, but couldn't care less about these. Too bad, too, as we bought two packs of them - thinking he would go through them quickly enough for that to be a practical buy, and a neighbor also bought a pack of these same bones for our dog. That's a lot of unused chew toys!
Warning, Danger. Can become painfully wedged around jaw.

This is one of many puppy chew toys I bought for my new sweet Rottweiler puppy. She didn't show too much interest in it at first but one day not long after she began teething, she picked it out of her toy chest and started gnawing away. I was peacefully at my computer when suddenly she was very loudly and painfully screaming, howling, yelping like I had never heard before. I jumped from my chair in a panicked frenzy and rushed to find her. Luckily, she was just a few feet away under the coffee table. Somehow the blue round section with the half moon had flipped over her bottom jaw and wedged tightly in place in between her front and back teeth with the yellow cog section on the opposite side of the jaw acting like some kind of lock. I managed to work it loose but man,was it ever wedged in there tight and definitely was not a painless fix. Don't worry everybody, she was OK, a little freaked out for sure, but other than some blood around her teeth she was physically OK . If the opening in the middle were a little smaller like the other 2 rings this would be avoided. In these photos, the tube represents the bottom jaw.
DANGEROUS! Do not buy

DO NOT BUY! Both of our newly adopted dogs were able to quickly chew the plastic bones into little bits and eat them. The pieces were sharp...that can't possible be healthy for their digestive system. Google "Nylabone" and read the horror stories...I wish I had before I wasted my money. Luckily, we didn't need a trip to the vet--I caught it before they had consumed all of a bone. I tossed out what was left once I realized what all the little plastics pieces were all over the floor, and I returned the unopened package.
Want an ER Visit?

In Vet ER currently. No surgery but my dog had a piece of one of the bones stuck in her esophagus. She's only 9 weeks old. Throwing all of the bones out when I get home!

SAFETY Hazard and not built to last more than a week.

Lousy toy. That tiny dog in the photo is my 4-month old puppy. He actually managed to rip it up with all the fillings dropping out within a week. All the other toys he have are fine. I would NOT recommend this at all - especially if you have a more aggressive chewer type dog.1. Toy ripped in multiple places with one week.2. Filling in the toy start dropping out. - safety hazard.
Seems like the cotton rope animals are safer and standup to ...

The price is right, but unfortunately, my puppy found its way to the stuffing in no time flat. First, it was the tail that was chewed off, then one eye (I sewed it shut), then the other (just performed another surgery). Definitely NOT up to what I consider up to Kong standards. Bummer. Seems like the cotton rope animals are safer and standup to puppies habits.

Sorry KONG, this time you failed us.

I love the KONG brand, but not this time.Although the monkey was cute and fuzzy, the sqeaker was defective and didn't work at all. When I give my dogs a toy, the first thing they look for is the sqeaker. They couldn't find it this time and immediately shredded it hoping to find the sweet spot to listen to their favorite noise.I really wanted to love this toy as much as I've loved the other KONG toys, but I can't.Sorry KONG, this time you failed us.
Moose is puppy approved! Elephant falls apart fast.
August 31, 2016
UPDATE* The moose is still going strong after surviving puppyhood with my Labrador mix. We've had the moose 9 months and it's great. The elephant though, is another story. That one fell apart within days. Had a replacement sent and the replacemention fell apart too in about a week. Don't get the elephant, even though it's adorable!Puppy approved! Our Labrador retriever pup loves her moose! She likes chewing on it (she is teething). It squeaks sometimes if she chomps it hard enough. She also likes cuddingly with it when she sleeps.
