Comfortable
May 1, 2017
The original insole must be taken out of your shoe before you insert this. This is the first time I've used insoles so I had to learn the hard way. They also kind of need to be broken into so the first two or three days may be rough depending on how much you walk with them.Other than that, these are definitely comfortable and they don't slide around. I'm wearing men's size 7 DC high tops for those that would like to compare
Best Sol Sole Product For Me
April 29, 2017
For me, this is the best overall Sof Sole product. I've tried three others. (There's nothing wrong with the others, they are exactly as described.) I now have two pairs of the Airr Orthotic. One is in my primary walking shoes. The other is in my primary training shoes. I have a normal arch, stand over 6 feet tall and weigh over 200 pounds. I put these Sof Soles in 12 4E New Balance shoes. You feel the positive difference immediately. So far the soles are withstanding the activities I'm putting them through. I strongly recommend.
Walking on a Cloud

These insoles are so comfortable! I have a couple of shoes that look great, but are extremely uncomfortable after a long day on my feet. I was starting to look for more comfortable shoes but decided to try these first; and I'm very glad I did! After long days my feet are no longer sore.I ordered men's size 13-14 for my size 13 shoes, and was worried they might be too big but they fit perfectly. They do make your shoes a little tighter as they add to the bottom of the shoe, but it didn't cause a problem with any of the pairs that I used them with.
Best insole I've found. Sizing is a little weird in Timberland boots.
October 13, 2016
Great insole.I wear two boots:Timberland PRO Titan Pro 6" soft toe, Toffee, 10.5 MTimberland PRO Men's 53009 Wedge Sole 6" Soft-Toe Boot,Rust,10.5 MIf you use these inserts in the mens size 10.5 Titan, you'll want to order the Size 11 - 12.5 insole or you'll feel the tip of the insole under your big toe. the 9 - 10.5 are too short for the size 10.5 Titan. Super comfortable, but just too short. I hate feeling the edge of the insole under my toe walking downhill. If you use these inserts in the 10.5 Wedge Sole, you'll want to order the Size 9 - 10.5. They fit perfectly.I travel for my job. I spend hours on concrete floors in data centers and large residences. I love the Timberland boots, but would wear the insoles out in 6 months. These insoles seem to keep my boots alive for at least a year. So for about $20, My boots last twice as long.As for comfort -These have saved my feet, back and knees.I'm 5'11, 200 lbs.Stand 8 - 14 hours a day. Lots of time walking in airports and on concrete.these have been the best combo I've found for long wearing comfort.Obviously every single person is different, but for me this combo is an absolute winner.
Long lasting
March 14, 2016
This is the 2nd pair that I have purchased. The 1st pair lasted for 3 years with pretty much daily use. I worked in a clinic all day so I needed something to help support my arch and these insoles did an amazing job. I wear a size 11 and they fit perfectly in my Asics running shoes.
Seems a quality orthotic for my issues and fits shoes perfectly
February 16, 2016
It took me a few days to get used to these but now they seem just fine. I don't have arch problems so I am not able to comment much on that. I have had plantar fasciatus or heel pain problems in the past and these have a padded region right at the heel that should help if it ever redevelops. That past is why I purchased these. I wear size 11 shoes and they fit inside my shoes perfectly. I exclusively own Ecco shows for daily use. These fit my feet well. I cannot speak for other shoe manufacturers but for Ecco sneakers these orthotic inserts fit their size 11 shoes perfectly. Time will tell how they age over time. They seem to be quality items and so far I am very happy with them. I will purchase them again if the need arises for me to get more. I can't speak to arch support as I do not have arch problems at this time but they do seem to have arch support but I don't notice it as I don't have arch problems, at least not yet.

Great replacement insole for my shoes! Provides much more cushion compare to the soles that came with my shoes, those things were paper thin compared to this sof sole!
Huge difference in comfort! Totally worth it
January 25, 2017
This is my 4th pair of these I love them. Every shoe I buy now I buy these too. The soles that come with shoes are super thin and not supportive at all. These make a huge difference for your feet, legs and back when on your feet all day. I like this version because it's maximum cushion and normal arch. If your arch is a little low or a little high you may consider the other versions. I wear size 9 shoe and the 9-10.5 size fits my shoe perfectly.
Cheap Way to Extend the Life of Expensive Sneakers
January 7, 2016
I bought these because the inserts in my 4-month-old Nike sneakers when kapoot (flatter than a pancake), and I wasn't prepared to toss the sneakers into the trash. The soles and topsides of the shoes are fine, so I was determined to get some more use out of them. I wear a 7 1/2 and these fit into the shoes fine length-wise, but are a bit wide. I haven't bothered cutting them down, figuring they'll mold around my foot after a couple of workouts. They aren't not so thick as to affect me being able to tie my shoes (I pulled the old, flattened inserts out). The new inserts are as comfortable as what were in the shoes initially. Hopefully, these will last longer than the original sneaker inserts, but even if it's only 4 months, it'll have been worth the $20 to extend the life of my expensive sneakers.
Great all around insole to improve the comfort of any shoe!
November 30, 2015
All sneakers have a moderate amount of cushion, but no where enough when it comes to being comfortable and walking/ standing all day long.I am a college student at a UC and walk close to 6000+ steps a day whilst lugging a 50lb backpack. And I have a number of shoes from nikes, Jordan's and vans which I all would say are pretty moderate when it comes to comfortBut I randomly came across this insole and decided to give it a try, and here how I tested if it was worth the investment- I replaced the insole of one Nike air Jordan 1 with aid sole Athletic insole, and left the other shoe with the original insole it came with.at first I noticed it was much more supportive and my foot was cradled by the curves of the insole much more competed to the original sole, which left my shoe feeling like there was a bunch of space under my arc.At the end of the day I did notice my show with the insole much less fatigued than the one withoutOVERALL:I would definitely recommend replacing he insole (instead of just placing it on top of the existing one) usually it just takes a little effort to peel it off the shoe Bc it's held down with a mild glueThis insole did a great job in replacing the original insole and providing comfort and supportHere are pics of the original sole of my air Jordan 1's compared to the cushioning of the sof sole insole
No Blisters!
April 12, 2014
I've used these exclusively in my hiking boots for over a year, and no blisters or hotspots whatsoever. Of course, you have to couple them with well-fitting boots and good socks, but they are so much more comfortable than Superfeet, which everyone seems to consider The Greatest Insole Ever.Very comfortable, even after a long day of climbing and descending wearing a 35-lb backpack.I consider them an essential part of my backpacking gear.
Incredible foot comfort!!!
September 11, 2013
I have used these insoles for years. I used to be a food server, and on my feet all day. The Sof Sole insoles, are the best I've ever found!!! And I've tried them all!! These insoles keep your feet happy, all day. I will never buy another brand. The commercials that are on t.v. for other "gel" brands do not work. The Sof Sole insoles are like clouds for your feet!! Amazing Cushioning
May 27, 2017
Had to trim lots for my size 8 1/2 feet from the 8-11 insole. The insoles are so thick that they crowd my feet in my shoes. I expect that I'll need to buy shoes a half size larger to accommodate. Still, my feet are very tender and since the skin is prone to rubs and hot spots I appreciate the extreme level of cushioning these insoles provide. They are probably the thickest insoles I've ever seen. Arch is sufficient for my fairly high arched feet, quite comfortable. Those with low arches my not be as enthused.

I bought these to use with my orthotics to provide some cushion. However, these insoles already have a stiffened heel which made it harder to wear with my other orthotics. I decided to just use these by themselves without orthotics and they are pretty comfortable while providing some support to my arches.
They're great if you like memory foam!

I ordered these to put in a pair of boots that I intend to wear while walking around Paris for a week. I haven't had the chance to try them out in that situation yet, but I've put them in my boots and worn them to work and so far, so good! It did make the fit significantly tighter (the liner that WAS in the boot was very thin), but since the boots are leather, I'm sure additional wear will help them loosen up a bit.

November 25, 2016
On paper these should have fit my 11 1/2 shoes just fine but I found them to be a bit of a tight fit. That said, after some finagling I was able to get the inserts in properly. After about 30 minutes of walking around in them they seemed to form to the rest of the shoe and they have fit inside the shoe just fine ever since.I got these shoes because I work in retail and was tired of coming home with sore feet. I was going to buy some new shoes but decided to go this route instead as I actually like my current shoes lol. The effect of the insoles was immediate. My feet feel just fine after I get home from work now.My only real complaint is that they raise my feet up just enough that my heel will pop out of my shoe in certain situations, like going up stairs or something similar. It's not a big deal but one worth mentioning I think.Overall fantastic insole that gets the job done for sure and for 20 bucks, can't go wrong with that!I may look into another insole or a different size because it WOULD be nice if my heel stayed inside my shoes at all times...
Not Perfect, but Very Good
October 17, 2015
This review was preceded by questions about the fit of "this shoe." These are not shoes; these are insoles. They are too thick for the shoes they were intended to fill, however, they turned out to be perfect for a similar pair of shoes that were too loose. I can now wear this second pair of shoes comfortably for long periods. The insoles provide excellent arch support. The shoe size I wear is at the bottom of the measurement range (8-11). As a result, I had to cut a sizeable portion of the length and width. This was challenging and ended up cutting into specialized support areas. It would be my recommendation for anyone else at the low end of a size range to select the next smaller size range and hopefully avoid the need to resize them.

Save the feet on campus
February 22, 2017
This is my 2nd time purchasing these.insoles for my college aged son. He's an athlete and spends alot of time wearing cleats for his football conditioning and agility tests. But I purchase these insoles for him to wear around campus and absorb the shock, but still fit his needs.

November 11, 2016
I probably have 5 of these and use them.in all my soccer cleats. Very soft and definitely add cushioning. The downside is they are heavy and if you cannot remove current insole iy will be tough for. I now prefer the Soft Sol thinner model vs theseIf you have room these are good but for soccer cleats these are way too heavy and bulky and will effect sizing
Sof Sole review
November 6, 2016
I really like the insole. The dimensions were a perfect fit and replacement for my crossfit sneaker insoles. My other insole was a thin (3mm) piece of foam. This Sof Sole brand are a little thicker, but has layers of cushion, which are nice. I think they're a great insole, but I was hoping for something with a little less give for my exercise sneakers. I saw the terms "athlete lightweight performance" and expected them to be stiffer. For me (a 165lb guy), they'd be an excellent running insole for my 3-5 mile jogs. Either way, my feet are happier! I would buy from the brand again and will probably try their "thin fit" series in my exercise shoes!
and I have really enjoyed them for running
March 14, 2016
This is the second time that I've purchased these insoles, and I have really enjoyed them for running. They provide good support without being too restrictive. I do have to trim them down a bit in the toe to fit in my shoes (I wear a women's 6), but that's generally to be expected. Like any insole, they do trap odors and can't be washed to rid them of that odor, which is a bummer. I wore my first set of insoles for about 8 months before the smell got so bad that I had to trade them out.
Not perfect, but
June 7, 2014
Close enough, given the price and features. I work on my feet and on concrete floors, every day. Shoes, socks and especially insoles, must function well for me to buy them. I require longevity also, as I'm not going to buy something that has to be reached every 2 or 3 months. I can get a solid 6+ months out of a set of these insoles! during which they cushion as stated. I actually like the fact that, when they're worn out, you know it right away; you can feel it. That helps a lot in not working too long on a blown out insole. These last as long and work as well as stuff twice as pricy.

I have rather sensitive arches and they were not very comfortable for my feet
September 1, 2017
The product is well made but did not fit my shoe well enough to retain. I have rather sensitive arches and they were not very comfortable for my feet. The main issue is that it is zero returns. Only 1 was in 1 shoe for 5 minutes to know it wasn't for me. Sorry, but shoe stores have feet in shoes and are walked around a lot more than this and I can still return stuff. Not made of cash but with zero returns and a useless product I donated them to Houston.Just to clarify, the product was well made and quality from what little I could see of it before boxing it up.
Not good for high arches
July 7, 2017
They are ok and better than stock insoles, however only marginally. I've had them in my daily ware shoes for a few weeks. They're good quality but don't suit my needs. I have high arches and these don't do much for me. if you're condition is the same I would try something else.

June 4, 2017
I tried them in 4 different shoes and it made the front section of my shoe, tight. I'm a 7.5 medium. And yes, i did remove the pad inside my shoes. I used it for Zumba and my foot hurt during and after class. I kept using it for 2 months but it's still a problem. The heel is definitely comfortable.

June 2, 2017
These are ok. They don't give a lot of arch support, nor does it have a great heel cup to keep your heel from sliding around in the shoe. They are pretty spongy soft and way better than most supports that come with the shoe. I don't think I'd buy these again due to the lack of really good support.
Too Thick for My Slip-On Shoes!
January 23, 2017
I wish I had read this before I purchased. I bought a pair of these insoles to put in my "slip-on" work shoes. The height of these insoles makes my feet feel smashed up against the top of the shoe - so much so that I have to take my feet out of my shoes when I'm sitting at my desk. Because my shoes are "slip-on," they don't have laces that can be loosened to provide more room. I'd like to return them because of this, but I had to trim them before I could even try to fit them into the shoe. I'll post back if I'm allowed to return/exchange them for something thinner. They do feel soft and supportive, but the crushing of my foot is what I feel most.

Not worth an extra $10 over and above my usual insoles.I've worn gel insoles for over 10 years. Sof Sole Athlete insoles http://www.amazon.com/Sof-Sole-Athlete-Cushion-Insole/dp/B00PZM7UXS/ref=pd_sim_sbs_309_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=51%2BFOohzMUL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR107%2C160_&refRID=1XBT5QM0VC8PC5YPM178 are what have always worked. After 1 year the gel pads in the insoles are still good, but the top of the insole where my foot touches gets worn through. After my most recent gel insoles wore out, I thought I'd try these "Airr Orthotic" insoles. I personally don't need the orthotic support but thought the air bubble might provide even more cushioning. I was wrong. The air bubble does nothing for me and the reinforced arch feels weird. If I can't get used to these within another month, I'm tossing them out and going back to the Athlete model.

They're just okay. I was looking for insoles for my shoes for work. I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. It's good if you're on your feet for 8 hours but that last 4, your feet starts hurting. At least they're are true to size and fit in my shoe perfectly!

April 5, 2017
I wanted them to work, but they were too thick for replacements in my asics trainers. They did feel nice and squishy though. Bummer.
May Need Some Adjusting
March 17, 2017
I purchased these to fit into a lovely pair of Converse which I found "too hard" to walk in the city all day. They are comfortable, but they are quite thick and push my small toes into the sides of the shoe which isn't that comfortable any longer. I haven't tried to take matters into my own hands yet.
Nice cushion but a bit too thick
July 1, 2016
I wanted new insoles for Brooks Ghost 8 running shoes. These have good cushion and arch support, but they are too thick and the heel is too high, so the fit and feel of the shoes are not to my liking. I wanted to get Merrell Ortholite dual-density insoles, only 10 bucks, but they are out of stock. If Brooks would change their insole material to have less compression/flattening and more cushion, like ASICS GT insoles are, they would be better. If these insoles were a touch thinner, say 1/8" less, and the heel height was 1/4" less, so the insole was 'flatter' overall (but still with the heel cup/curved area), then they would be great. Thus if any designers are reading this, there you go.
Not bad for the price, but you get what you pay for.
January 26, 2016
These inserts definitely help out with my Salomon Speedcross 3 running shoes. They take away SOME of the tiredness my feet experience with daily activities, and are absolutely better than the factory included insoles, which are absolutely terrible. However, they don't take away the fatigue you get from standing for extended periods of time like higher end ones will. Don't expect too much from them and you'll be satisfied. The support isn't that great, as they are similar to a gel pad... But thats it. No arch support. As a longtime Amazon customer, I rely on reviews from the Amazon community when making buying decisions. That being said, I only believe in giving honest and unbiased reviews. If this review was helpful to you in any way please click below. Thanks for reading!
Good, but fit, breathing and noise could be better.
May 1, 2015
They don't breathe well and they make a slight squeak. Used them to restore some padding to New Balance x-training shoes. But their on-size-fits 7-8.5 makes them about 3/8" short in my 8.5 shoes. You can feel the gap. I notice they don't breath as well as the original soles, trapping heat and moisture. Finally, after a few weeks, the right one makes a slight squeak (more like a "gurt-gurt'-gurt") noise. All those are minor observations and no where near deal killers. On the plus side, they were easy to install, the material is durable, the padding is good. Would I buy them again? Maybe. But for that price and considering the variety of other choices, I'd probably try something else.

Wouldn't recommend for flat or larger feet.
October 17, 2017
Quite simply stated. You slip around on these. VERY bad cover material. This gets to be a problem when you are wearing shoes with a proper toe box that allows proper toe room. When going down hills, your feet slip up and it can hurt.Going up hills seems a bit more comfortable.Cushioning is OK, but very little arch support.
Bubble in heel bothers me.
September 27, 2017
Please be advised that these, along with all insoles, are not eligible for returns, regardless of if it says "FREE returns" next to the price. These insoles are very thick, too thick for the shoes I wanted them in (and yes, the original insoles came out). They have a bubble in the heel that is annoying to stand on, though it may be good for running or other sport activities. I ordered a larger size for trimming, but were barley long enough and would not have been long enough had I been at the top of the range (size 7-8.5). Maybe those that gave the feedback that they run big are referring to the thickness of these insoles.

First time I put them on, it was wow, these are great. I even ordered two more for my other shoes. Wore them to work my 10 hour shift inside my shoes, and by the end of the shift, I was taking them out. Pain in my heel and toe. I will try with other shoes, but did not live up to the promise of the initial try.
Unsure About These
March 15, 2017
So far these insoles have been a mixed bag. I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis along with lower back pain. Based on the reviews these seemed like the insoles for me. Once I put them in my shoes however, things didn't go as planned. I don't know if it's my shoes or the insoles, but my feet now rub against the top of my shoes causing quite a bit of discomfort. I had to switch to thinner socks to reduce this.It might be too soon to tell if these insoles are working, as I'm still getting used to them. so far I'm unsure if I could recommend these. Hopefully in a month or so I'll have a more concrete answer.
Not comfortable.
March 10, 2017
These are not comfortable. They feel very stiff and are very heavy. I took these out and put the original sole back in.I could definitely feel a weight difference when I had these in. Enough to really notice when wearing running shoes. It might be less noticeable in boots or work shoes.
Size 8-11 is not for size 8, way too big.
December 20, 2016
I wear a size 8 in women's athletic shoes. These were huge. There are no guidelines to trim down. Even if I tried to trim it, the cuts would go into the gel support. I sent these back and reordered the smaller one. I slipped these into a size 10 men's shoes and it fit....

July 19, 2017
Insert feels great, nice and comfy. However, the insert itself was too thick and made my shoes too cramped around the toe and top of my foot. I have a wider foot with a higher arch. March 18, 2015
I have been using these insoles daily for over a month now. I can say they are better than what came with the shoes I purchased however I don't feel these provide the necessary support my feet need. My feet have actually been pretty achy the past few weeks - I can't directly attribute this to the insoles as I have been wearing newer shoes as well but I haven't experienced this when I have used other insoles. They are pretty thin at the part under the ball of the foot. While the arch isn't bad, I would like a little more support (my arches are a little higher than the average person). While I will continue to use these until they wear out, I won't consider buying them again.

November 1, 2017
Product was too small for my shoe even though it was claimed the same size. Really disappointed because I thought I found a decent insole for my shoe they felt comfy but unfortunately they are not usable to me now.
Looks can be deceiving
September 25, 2017
So I bought these last week. I bought them because I thought they looked really really comfortable. I work in a job that requires me to stand on my feet 7.5 hrs out of 8 everyday on concrete floors. Maybe my feet are just too far gone, but these are probably the most uncomfortable insoles that I’ve ever worn in a pair of shoes before. It could just be me tho which is why I’m not returning them. But I don’t recommend them for someone with severe plantar fasciitis like I’ve got.

Not as soft on the forefoot. I do a lot of walking on concrete and other hard floors. This time I was very disappointed in the softness. I shouldn't feel the floor like I did. Too bad I waited too long to put them my running shoes. The heel is fine and fits very nicely, but the front bites.

I purchased these insoles 3 weeks ago. I bought them to put in my work shoes as I am on my feet all day. After 3 weeks of use, they are shot and have zero padding left in them. I do not recommend buying these.
