| Gorgeous colors!April 4, 2017 This clock is absolutely gorgeous. It actually works so thats awesome. I was only getting it as home decor to spice up my living room but now I actually use it to tell time haha. My cousin suggested changing the way my decor was lined up and finding a clock for the center of it. We searched all over trying to find the prefect colors and size. This 12in clock was a perfect match. It takes one double A battery that is no included. The hanging was very easy. I actually think my husband used a screw, which I had been planning on using a nail. Either would work fine though. I absolutely love this clock and how it fits in so well with my decor. I am very happy with my purchase.This was a personal purchase of mine and normal retail price. I knew from the other reviews that it is actually a picture and not a raised or textured clock as it looks on here, so I wasn't expecting anything else. Even though it is a picture, it is very pretty. The colors match the area I have it perfectly. I just received 2 today and I am buying one more to complete my kitchen dining area. The quality is great!! Not a big box store product. It has a great weight and falls very nice right out of the package. I love the colors. Some reviews said too much brown but I find the browns to be more of the accent colors. I needed some brown in them so it works perfect for me. It has lovely soft blues and greens. Not olive green at all. It is definitely the modern colors that designers are using a lot. The back ground color is more ivory white, NOT a bright white. I am so happy I took the chance on these curtain valances and hope my review helps anyone considering them. I also wanted a little bit of a pattern since the duvet covers are one color. I was a little hesitant about the price, but I am glad I ordered these. They are made of thick, heavy-duty material, lined, and well-made. The trim along the bottom edge is a nice touch and makes them look custom-made. I also liked that these are made in the USA. Very cheaply made.June 17, 2016 This clock is a piece of plywood with laminate on the front and back. A clockworks was then screwed into this cheap assembly. The hands are exposed and extremely thin/bendable. The laminate in peeling from the edges as I remove it from the box.This thing is worth about $5-7, not almost $20. Counts forward and backward in time.March 13, 2015 As others have said, the clock does not keep time. The second hand on my clock moves one second backward for every two seconds it moves forward between the 6 and 8 o'clock area on the clock face. This causes the hour and minute hands to mark time incorrectly, of course. The error isn't consistent. Some minutes it loses a handful of seconds other minutes it loses more. Over an hour's time, up to 10 minutes can be lost. At other times, the second hand just simply stalls between the 6 and 7 o'clock area and has to be manually restarted. After reading reviews before I purchased, however, I knew this could be an issue. I bought the clock for the clock face and am prepared to replace the clockworks myself. Not as nice as pictureAugust 16, 2014 I was very disappointed - looked really nice in the picture but cheap in person!! It is just a piece of press board with a sticker/picture stuck to it - not Real wood!!!! The second hand when it didn't get hooked on the hour or minute hands would go to .45 and then fall back down to .30. We adjusted several times but we were never able to get it to work properly.
