Five Star Reviews: | 84% Good drill socket for raising/lowering TT stabilizer jacks. October 4, 2017 High quality 3/4" socket to use in my drill when raising/lowering my TT stabilizer jacks. I used to use a regular 3/4" socket with an adapter for my drill, but I got tired of having to retrieve it from my toolbox before the trip, and then having to search for the socket in the middle of my next project because I forgot to put it back in the toolbox after the trip.I keep this in my TT, just have to remember my drill before leaving for the mountains. Awesome scissor jack tool June 29, 2017 Every camping trailer owner should have this! It turns an ordinary drill, into an awesome time and frustration saving tool. The scissor jack socket allows you to lower standard scissor jacks at record speed, and if you have a quality drill it will allow you to place a considerable load on the scissor jacks with no effort. Honestly, you should own multiple of these because they are absolutely worth their weight in gold. Get one immediately. June 12, 2017 Do yourself a favor, get this item and a cheap cordless drill and you will never, ever, want to see the spindly Jack handle that most travel trailers come with. Raising and lowering the jacks is super easy with the drill attachment. Seriously a no brainer. This is the smallest and best tool I keep on my travel trailer. Ordered wrong part but? May 23, 2017 My trailer has a : " Bayonet type connector ( Drill tip $9.99 @ RV STORE ~ $5.97 at CHINESE SOURCE)GAVE TO TO BRO IN LAW since he has "standard" STABLIZERS : HE LIKES IT ALOT!( Got two, looking to trade or give away?)NOT DESIGNED FOR HEAVY DUTY USE ON HIGH TORQUE APPLICATION!BUT IT WORKS FINE FOR RV STABLIZERS!😉 Helps with quick setup to get your camping trip started. July 3, 2016 This item greatly cut down on the time to raise and lower the scissor jacks on my travel trailer. It fit into my 1/2" cordless drill and is small so stores easily in a drawer in the trailer. My drill has two settings, a speed setting and a torque setting. I use the speed setting to run the jacks down, and then switch to the torque setting for the last few turns to get the trailer properly supported. For breaking camp, I do this in reverse. Use the torque setting first, then the speed setting once the jack is slightly off the ground. This was a great investment to get setup out of the way quickly and get to the camp fire. Highly recommended! I paid full price for this item and this review is not compensated in any way. If you found it helpful, please click "Yes." If not, please leave a comment on how I can improve my reviews. Thanks! | 73% Fabulous April 1, 2017 Fabulous!. Exactly as described and work wonders on taking the movement out of our fifth wheel. Have had several others asking us about them. The pull outs and now it's perfect. July 17, 2016 I bought these to help with my house trailer. I'm on uneven ground and the original stabilizers working well because there's not enough. So I bought these to help me out in the places that aren't supported ie. The pull outs and now it's perfect. Factory should have used these in the first place. June 27, 2016 Over all these are very good quality for the money. Sure as heck a lot better than the factory stabilizer jacks! Has hand crank. No screws or bolts included. The lift worm gear does use a hex type bolt head that would allow a electric hand drill with a socket to run this in and out (up and down). For installation on an RV, I recommend using #5 or greater nuts and bolts for attachment to frame Motion Sickness Solved June 12, 2016 Perfect! My wife gets motion-sick very easily, and RVs can bring that on a lot. She was ready to pay someone to take our RV trailer until we got these. You can still feel a little motion when someone else isMostio walking in the trailer, but she is good. I would definitely call her a "Happy Camper." this was the best price I found anywhere February 24, 2016 this was the best price I found anywhere. they keep my camper from swaying. You will need some tools to install them but its pretty basic if your handy. Amazon also sells a bit that fits on standard battery operated drills for quick set up ( up and down on the jack) when at you camping site .Love it |
Four Star Reviews: | 11% Hand to power jack October 27, 2017 As long as your scissor jacks work easily, this is great! But some mine do not, so my dewalt really grunts. I also had to change one jack and it does not fit that one. Will only work with a drill since it is Not a 1/4 drive, which would be nice. Would make it faster then the hand crank! Works as it should, could be a better design. August 8, 2017 I chucked this up in my cordless drill and use it to lower and raise my stabilizers on my trailer. Works great, the only down fall is that the insert end is not a standard hex pattern so I can't use a drill extension with it. ... and down on my 5th wheel I was in love with this little gem July 22, 2017 First time I used it to run the stabilizer jacks up and down on my 5th wheel I was in love with this little gem. Be better if it could charge my cordless drill or at least remind me too. Cool little work-saver tool... May 30, 2017 Haven't tried this yet, but it seems well-build/well-made. Should fit the bill for what I need perfectly. Your back will thank you June 23, 2015 Worth the price. When I am out setting up or tearing down the camper and it is 90+ degrees out it makes a huge difference when all I have to do is just hit the leveler supports with a cordless drill than to hand crank them up and down. Others will look on you with envy as you walk around all for corners and quick zip them up or down. Sure, I could have the kids manually raise and lower the supports but they are 4 and 5 and last about 5 turns before the fun wears off and they are off looking for the playground. The wife does not seem that keen on cranking them up or down as well. | 13% The jacks work great!! April 28, 2016 The product arrived on time. Even though the box was damaged, the product was unharmed. The jacks work great!!! I helped a friend put them on his older model RV that did not come with jacks. Easy to install and even easier to use!!! Four Stars February 18, 2016 Would have been 5 stars but did not receive wrench. Quality jacks though. The Jacks are great, but the handle is pretty flimsy July 3, 2015 The Jacks are great, but the handle is pretty flimsy. Not a heavy duty handle. I had to use a ratchet and socket. just what I was looking for. July 13, 2013 I received the jacks quickly and well packaged. They appear to be well made of heavy materials and were easily bolted on to my RV. I haven't noticed any issues with them supporting the weight and are very easy to use. |
Three Star Reviews: | 3% but it's a nice product for the price so I kept it April 4, 2017 It didn't fit my jack, but it's a nice product for the price so I kept it. Could come in handy one day. Make sure if using an impact that it fits! March 11, 2017 Doesn't fit into many impact drivers unless you have an adapter. You can't feel the jack tension through the drill like you can when using the hand crank July 14, 2016 It's ok. Works as intended. Seems a bit "light" in manufacturing, but it does work.Just be careful when using it. You can't feel the jack tension through the drill like you can when using the hand crank. Poor Quality Control April 30, 2016 We bought this item 18 months ago and that one worked great. We misplaced it over the winter, and ordered a replacement- I went to my old Amazon orders to make sure I ordered the exact same one that worked perfectly last time. The socket they sent only fits on 2 of our 4 jacks. Their quality control needs tightened up! I've asked for a replacement, so we'll see if the 3rd one works on all 4 jacks this time. Probably OK, but doesn't fit a 3/8 chuck. Did't see that when I ordered. April 29, 2016 Meh. the hex part that fits in the drill doesn't fit mine, so I'll use it rarely. | 4% 7500 Lbs Way Over Rated February 16, 2014 I cannot imagine these jacks actually lifting 7500 Lbs. Maybe they'll hold it once it's lifted by something else. First of all my Toy Hauler has a gross weight of 10,000 lbs with the load totaling 11500 lbs. The jacks actually seem to be well constructed and appear to be heavy duty, I say appear only because they are not made with American steel. The warning on the Jacks is somewhat confusing it says: "WARNING. Do not use Stabilizer Jack to lift excessive weight..." I certainly would consider 7500 Lbs. to be a lot of weight, if not excessive. The Warning says; "only use stock handle supplied." I hardly put the jack under any crank-up weight and the handle feels like it's going to twist in two. Very flimsy and very hard to crank with the cheaply made handle supplied. Here is the major problem, when trying to stabilize my Toy Hauler the jacks would sometimes slip back down, un-screw themselves, they will not hold in place all the time. However, when I got them to hold, my Toy Hauler was fairly stabilized, passable. When walking around inside, my coffee did not splash out of my cup sitting on the table, that would have been an outright sin. I am not going to the trouble of sending them back because I can make them work for what I need and the price was actually good for all four. I'll make a locking nut to make sure they do not slip once up. I looked at 4 ton bottle jacks before buying these yet I was motivated by not spending very much. Dang! That not spending too much motivation will get you every time. |
Two Star Reviews: | 1% While it's looks on the picture like a hex it is not June 3, 2017 While it's looks on the picture like a hex it is not. I needed to fit my hex Dewalt drill but unfortunately I will have to order another. Other than that looked solid and came fast. Two Stars April 24, 2017 displayed with a front hitch jack and wheel that it doesn't fit, very misleading Had to return August 12, 2016 You have to have a hell of a drill for this to work with the jacks of most campers. Better off getting a impact wrench and using a regular socket. Had to return with no problems. Nothing special September 2, 2015 For the price, get a cheap deep well socket set and your own drill chuck to 3/8" adapter. It will be the same and will be better to have in an emergency. Two Stars September 6, 2014 Very difficult to slide over a 3/4" hex. Removing it takes some work, too. | 3% Didn't work for us. October 9, 2016 Complicated to install and didn't reduce shaking of camper. Disappointing! |
One Star Reviews: | 1% ... not work for the job I wanted it for poor purchace waste of July 18, 2017 Did not work for the job I wanted it for poor purchace waste of money Add on item October 1, 2016 worthless , didn't fit the main item I ordered. This was an add on item offered. Too small to send back so total ripoff. Don't waste your time. June 29, 2016 Terrible quality it broke after first use I'll request a refund but if they don't want to wasn't that much but save your money!!! Buyer beware July 11, 2014 It came with a bent shaft. It is very hard to use. It is not worth returning. I will buy my next one at a store were I can check the quality. | 7% No good July 18, 2017 Doesn't hold weight seller refuses to send me new ones that actually work don't bother you will be disappointed Cheap & broke within minutes April 5, 2017 Three out of the four jacks busted before we even got them jacked up a quarter of the way and iur camper is well withon the weight they are rated for. The nuts are made od chesp cast metal. The vendor did take them back without issue but a complete waste if time trying to install them only go temove them to send back. Doesn't hold the weight, will spin backwards on its own. April 1, 2017 they don't hold the weight of the camper. You crank it a little tight and then you watch them spin backwards. I am glad I tested them out before I attached them on my camper. The over all Jacks I liked very much September 10, 2016 The over all Jacks I liked very much. But was not happy that one of the mounting brackets on the top was bent straight up in the air when it was delivered. I had to take it off and straighten it out. Damaged July 23, 2015 Package came damaged, the jacks being bent and also the jack handle was servery bent. |
