Great vita version.
October 12, 2016
Great vita version. Key product features include:The same quality Mortal Kombat gaming experience found in the 2011 console version of the game, now made portable at 60 frames per second through PS Vita• New features and content exclusively for the PS Vita System, such as touchscreen fatalities and a balancing gameplay mechanic using PS Vita's accelerometer• New play modes including a new Challenge Tower mode, and Test Your Slice and Test Your Might modes• An extensive lineup of iconic warriors, and DLC previously for the console versions of the game• Two-player support in ad hoc or Wi-Fi matches
Mortal Kombat IX on the go, what more could you ask for?
July 9, 2016
For what it's worth, Mortal Kombat on the PS Vita is well worth the money. It may be lacking in terms of the graphics since some of the character models and the stages are a more watered down through the port as they had to work with getting to run a modified unreal engine 3 onto a portable handheld, and it's still a great effort for the developers to keep it running at a constant 60fps, which is vital for fighting games. Some of the bonus challenge towers may seem gimmicky, but it's a fun little addition to the whole package. While there's still left a lot to be desired from other people, you gotta appreciate all the work and effort they made to get this game running on the go. I could take muddy graphics for a game I love play on the go that runs smoothly than having a 1:1 port that felt lazy as it just stutters and lags as it just can't handle it.
great freakin game!!!
July 24, 2013
I love this game its amazing!! this game is challenging I cant put it down...some of the matches are pretty darn hard to beat but it wouldn't be any fun if I could just breeze right through it...once you think the game is over it pulls a fast one on you and switches up and continues to go....the graphics are great I love playing new characters and watching new x-ray moves or seeing what other moves other players can do...the story flows in perfect motion with the fights...it goes from story right into the fight and vice versa...so far ive only done the story mode and practice mode which is good if your up against a difficult opponent OR TWO since they are constantly pitting two enemies against your one guy or girl...I freaking love this game!!
Awesome transfer from PS3 to Vita
February 5, 2013
This game is just awesome. I loved the PS3 version and although the graphics are not as good as on the PS3 I still love them and for a handheld device the graphics are pretty good. I love that there is also additional content like the bonus challenge tower. Completing the tower (also the regular one) is very challenging and sometimes it seems impossible, but if you try again you notice that some challenges need special tactics and are doable. It will definitely take you some time though. Online gaming is easy and a lot of fun. Sometimes it takes a while until you get connected with another player and the connection might get lost during the fight, nevertheless you have to keep in mind, that this is a handheld game. Therefore I really enjoyed playing online. But be aware that a lot of players online can really beat you up and leave you with no chance if you don't practice. Story mode is the same as on PS3, it's just the best story mode of any fighting game I've ever played so far.To sum it up, this game is probably my favorite game for the PS Vita so far and I still keep playing and enjoying it, even after having spent so much time with it already. I totally recommend this game to any beat-em-up fan!
Finish him!!!
December 9, 2012
It's been a while since I played any mortal Kombat game.. I recently bought my ps vita and I remembered how much fun I had with MK unchained on my PSP and I decided to give it a go on this one and man it didn't disappoint at all.. This is a port from de PS3 version (which I never played but I read some articles about it) but they added some challenges perfectly suited for the ps vita touch screen and rear pad.. Story mode? I'm halfway through it but it has kept me entertained so far, the combos and fatalities are easy to learn as well.. And touch screen fatalities FTW!!Not to mention that the Ps Vita version includes all the downloadable content that Ps3 version didn't have at the beginning..I bought this game on Black Friday for 14$ but at 19$? It's a steal! Buy it!
Great port... or is this more than a port?
October 5, 2012
The game on the PS Vita is just terrific. I initially had my doubts regarding this product because I already own the 360 version and the graphics and audio are flawless. So I really thought a very little console couldn't manage such quality.Since I don't have the PS3 version of the game, I didn't enjoy a gameplay with Kratos from the God Of War series. But the PS Vita version is a full version that contains all the possible things that you could get on Mortal Kombat 9. This is good, and a little disappointing at the same time. Good, because once you start the game, you have everything available to have a cool fighting experience without the need of extra charges per DLCs. A big roster full of cool characters including Kratos, Skarlet, Rain, Kenshi, Freddy Krueger and Rain. Disappointing, because you have pretty much everything at hand; you don't have to go through the story mode or beat certain things to unlock characters on the selection screen, because all characters are already there, unlocked. So if you are the kind of gamer that likes to struggle and beat challenges in order to unlock stuff, then there's nothing to do here as far as character selection is concerned.Surprisingly, some alternate clothes are available also without the need of doing anything on the game; for example, all female and male ninjas already have their alternate costumes available, like the classic Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Ermac outfits. Again, no need for extra downloads. The game is like an exact copy of the 360/PS3 versions with an addition of 150 new tower challenges which are a separate game mode. So you have the traditional tower of challenges and on top of that, 150 new challenges, that are mostly intended to take advantage of the Vita's capabilities. Such challenges include bouncing the Vita to move the characters, doing special moves with the aid of the touch screen and rear panel of the Vita, etc. It's a little tricky at first, but once you get the feeling, it's pretty amazing. So this game is not a mere port, it has very cool additions. The graphics are very good, but you see some little low quality on the story mode. The cinematics look awesome. But when it's time to start a fight on this story mode and the camera does a close up on the character, the graphics look ugly. But only on that very little time that can take 2 seconds at much. Everything else from the cinematics and the kombat looks amazing.Another cool feature is the online mode. You can play single or tag matches and once you find an opponent (which can be your friend or anyone on the network) you can talk to people without using a headset! This is soooo nice because at least for me it's a little uncomfortable to play with something attached to my ears. But here, you don't need that. You can just play, and talk to your opponent at the same time. You can continue talking as long as that session takes.Something that REALLY disappointed me on this game was the lack of a cross-platform feature. This game plays so smoothly and has all the same characteristics that the PS3 version has, so I don't see WHY Street Fighter X Tekken has cross-platforming but Mortal Kombat does not. I would have been terrific to play some cool fights with my friends who own a PS3, and rip some heads off.Overall, this game is a must in your PS Vita collection. Especially if you own the 360 version, there are many pluses on this one. I definitely recommend it.

EXCELLENT DESCRPTION! EXCELLENT SELLER!!
Unsurprisingly This Game is Awesome! Great game with nice graphics. :) 12/10
June 27, 2016
Loved the game. The graphics are really great especially for a PS Vita game. The control are really easy to figure out and handle. The game it's self really brings back memories of need for speed underground 1 & 2 and other need for speed games. Very nostalgic and a bonus that you can play online with others very easily. It's super fun and exciting. If your thinking or hesitant on getting this game, no worries it's really a awesome game. I Would totally recommend getting it. :D
Worth the money.
January 14, 2016
I like the series but I think the older ones were better. I don't know if it's me getting older though but it is still a very fun game to play. The different modes are great because this way you can switch between them and don't get tired. I personally like to try great escapes and share my replays, they are the most fun.
Great game, really exciting

Great game, really exciting, the graphics are not stunning but still beyond expectation. Controls are smooth, the game fits on the psv perfectly without glitches. Very challenging though, it will teach you serious lesions about using te brakes!
"Loud Powerful Sports Cars "
October 23, 2014
I can't even speak right now. I can't brag enough on this game. I was so blown away of how the reflection of the sun and rich detailed visuals seem to pop right out of the screen at you. Roar pass the cops going 160MPH in loud powerful sports cars. Give them a run for their money, and lead them into traps, then leave them 1 mile behind. Go into a dark alley cut off the engine and lights while the back tires smoke, and watch the cops blow right pass you like fools as you hide in the shadows letting your heat level cool down. Seconds latter the heat meter lowers then you've evaded the cops. The only thing left to say is just buy the game. It's fun and very addicting.
5 Stars from a non need for speed fan
August 23, 2014
Wow! I gotta say, Ive owned plenty of need for speed games since the PS1 days. But Ive never been a huge fan.To be honest, the best driving game I ever played to date has been Blur because of the speed, challenges, and all the other non driving elements it added to the experience (shunting someone into oblivion at top speed to take 1st place!! LOVE IT)This game offers the same excitement! So many challenges! Super fast speeds! Racing! Evading Police! Open world!EA did a great job with this game. The only thing to mention is it is harder to see some things on the small vita screen (upcoming traffic, OSD, etc..)The graphics arent as polished as the PS3 version either, but they did a great job of not leaving anything out of this version. Also, the game is not cross save. So your game is independent from the PS3 version if you own that as well. No pick up and play where you left off. Kinda sucks since they packed everything in the vita model to make the game virtually the same as the ps3 version aside from the graphics.I highly recommend this game!

I own 62 hard copy Vita Games. I have all the FPS games there are. This is not the most complete or prettiest Vita FPS game, but its still one of your best options for mil-fps. Obvious Killzone is best, but after that you have Borderlands(not mil-fps), unit 13(3rd person), resistance(not mil-fps).... Get my drift. Its got plenty of levels, and multiplayer is there, just dont expect console content or interaction. Play it for its burst single player experience. It will fill your jonze if you dont go into it expecting COD Black Ops 3.
Entertaining game

Call Of Duty is my son's favorite game. He graphics are perfect each mission is different and it is entertaining
Highly recommend on vita
December 26, 2015
Great mobile Call of Duty. The multiplayer is great, the maps are fairly small but they work well on the vita. Definitely a Call of Duty game, perks, kill streaks, and COD maps all on the go. The campaign is short (each level takes less than 10 minutes) but fun. Spans Cold War era 1960's to 1990). Wish I hadn't listened to the negative reviews and got the game earlier. It is my favorite shooter on the vita (Killzone is good too, but gameplay feels slower). Highly recommend

Great multiplayer game but lackluster graphics
June 4, 2016
First off, this game is one of the first games that was available for the PS Vita. I no longer have my PS Vita because I sold it. This game is fun to play and if you have other friends that have PS Vita's, playing online with them can be fun. One thing that I disliked about the game is the graphics. I feel that the graphics could be so much better, being that the PS Vita has such a good graphic's processor. Fun game play. Bad graphics.
Mortal kombat vita
January 23, 2014
The game worked but it did not come with a case. I had to buy one so I don't lose it.
A ton of content, a plague of difficulty and graphics issues.
July 24, 2013
Mortal Kombat is a fantastic game, don't get me wrong, but has its fair share of annoyances.Good:There's a lot of content in this game, mainly being the characters, the bonus "DLC" included, and all the game modes. The game has all the original characters from the Mortal Kombat series and even characters from other series such as Kratos (from God of War) and Freddy Krueger (from A Nightmare on Elm Street). So no need to worry about WHO you can be. Each character, as far as I know, has different controls and personal attacks (at which point becomes a pain b/c you don't know which combo leads to which attack). Most people who don't have the game would miss the "mini-games." One of them is like a fruit ninja spoof (a very poor replica, but still fun). Lastly, there's the option to buy other bonus content such as alternate clothing, original pictures of the characters, finishing fatality moves, etc.Bad:On the off-hand, this game has some off-putting features. To start off, the graphics could use a lot of work; a LOT of work is needed. I don't know how it compares as a port of the PS3/Xbox 360 games so I won't go over that; I'm just saying that the graphics is highly noticeable. Chances are, they did this to improve the frame rates in the game. It looks very much like the graphics was limited to the PS2's system capabilities. In terms of difficulty, this game is questionable. I was playing on normal and I felt as though the fights were designed to be easy in the first round, then hard on the second round, and easy on the third round so that you'll spend more time playing it. The story revolves around a character (I won't name him/her to prevent spoilers) and this character has to be one of the worst characters to play with. The last boss (also won't name) is overpowered to an unfair advantage, just check guides online for the "view count" and you can see that many people are having problems. Difficulty, clearly, is "flawed."Edit: There's also an odd sound issue where the cutscenes are very low in volume (even at max) and the fighting is significantly louder. Not a big issue because of the subtitles, but is a nuisance if you're lying down or in a bad surrounding. This game is playable and has brought me much fun. Story will take a couple of days to finish and the Challenge Tower & Bonus Challenge Tower (options in the game) has over a 100 levels I believe. I'm sure you can find this game at a decent price online now since it's nearly 2 years into release already.
Great fighter for the Vita
January 25, 2013
I'm not a huge fighting game fan but I do enjoy them once in a while. The Mortal Kombat series is of course a classic and this version is really good. It kind of feels like a return to the classic versions of the game. If you played the console version of this you'll already know what you're getting. There are some new features added for the Vita version that uses the touch screen. A nice bonus is the bonus characters Freddy Krueger and Kratos are included. If you like a good fighting game and especially Mortal Kombat, this is a great handheld version.
Sacrificing polygons for portability.
July 31, 2012
The smooth framerate, the gameplay, and everything that made this game good back on it's bigger console brethren makes it's way onto the portable Vita. Everything is in tact and even some extras made it in that weren't included in the original console releases. The only negative I can say about MK on the Vita is it's lower polygon count... such a SMALL sacrifice for the ability to have this great game on the go. Flawless Victory.

Last time I played NFS was many years ago with a PS 2 console.Found out playing it on PS Vita is a bit more difficult. The Gameplay is also different from what I was expecting.I will give it a chance, I still need to get used to it.Graphics are great though!
This game surprisingly won me over (former NFS and Burnout hater)
February 13, 2014
Typically, I absolutely hate arcade racing games. 99% of the NFS series is trash to me. Burnout is even worse. In my opinion those games are super repetitive, boring, and have some of the lamest gameplay in the racing genre. I only got this game, because I figured it might be ok on the Vita. I was right. It is a fun game on the go. It's basically the exact same game as the PS3 version (with weaker graphics, and less traffic) which is pretty impressive. It's not the best looking Vita game but considering the open world, it's really good for what it is.It's challenging, and fun to play. There's a lot of great cars to unlock so playing it is indeed rewarding. It's the only NFS game I've liked since NFS 1 Road and Track edition lol

You can't customized the look of the vehicle.vehicle graphics look good and backgrounds or good to okay.you can improve your vehicles performance with upgrades.some of the cars can be clumsy and are out of control at high speeds.there is a lot of vehicles and a lot of races.beating everyone on your most wanted list you get the credit roll.(beat the game)expect a lot of intensional crashes accidents.

Pretty good shooter!
April 19, 2017
I've heard really bad things about this title but also some good things. I took a chance and bought it and boy I'm glad I did. The multiplayer is very COD. It definitely has that feel to it. The maps are a bit smaller though which I haven't found to be an issue. I do want to say that you will get kicked from games alot UNLESS you make a parry on your vita, you can make it private so no one will join your party if you want. After that's done open up the game and select party matchmaking and make sure it's public. That will solve that issue. I haven't tried the "campaign" but who buys COD for that anyway lol

Stop the hating guys
June 3, 2015
Hey stop hating on the game so much. I was made by a new company and gives me what I wanted out of it. It's not on a main console so you can't expect it to be a cod 3 so stop hating. Most people don't even play call of duty for the campaign it's for the multi player and this is great for a handheld version.
Good FPS for a handheld
July 19, 2013
I'm not sure why people are hating on this game so hard. It's not the worst game I've played, and it's also not the best.Yes the single player doesn't have a good story but when has a Call of Duty game ever been played for its single player? The multiplayer is what you're paying for here.Bottom Line: If you like the normal Call of Duty multiplayer then you should get this game. If you don't then don't consider buying this because you'll hate it.
Excellent game but short
July 2, 2013
Campaign is short but gives you a standard shooting experience.pros:-great multiplayer experience in the palm of your handcons:-price is higher than most vita games-some flaws experienced early on with dumping me back to the main menu during multi-player, but those have not happened recently.

It's Mortal Kombat. So you know what you're getting. But, the graphics are a bit "sludgy". The Vita controls don't really lend to effective game play. Maybe it's more of an inadequacy on the part of the Vita, but none the less, the game is not fun in this format.

Best racing game for the Vita
March 5, 2015
I have owned this game on the PS3 as well and it's great to own it at the palm of your hands. The graphics are a bit downgraded from the Playstation 3 version, but it still looks great for a handheld console. Only downside that it's not a cross-save...I don't like the fact that everything is unlocked from the get-go, instead of unlocking cars as you progress. Also, there's no actual story, only 10 "most wanted" cars that you have to beat in order to get their cars. But, there's a lot to do - smash gates, smashing billboards, collecting cars and going through speed cameras. Finding all of the cars can consume some time as well. The car list is a bit lacking, having about a third in the quantity as opposed to NFS Hot Pursuit, for example. The multiplayer is nice but suffers from frequent disconnections from the EA servers.Overall, if you like racing games and you're looking for one for the Vita - This should be your choice. The game is very enjoyable, with or without friends.
4 stars for bringing this game back!
February 11, 2013
Overall this is great game to play!As you check out all the cars and try to win all the challenges, you earn speed points and more speed points to win all the cars. Cops chase you and some are quite challenging as well. Here's my pros and cons for this game.Pros:*All the best cars in the world today and the past plus more!*Cool videos once you unlock challenges and finish the game*Makes you wanna come back to see if you complete the car fully tuned up and what it can do*Network play! And not just your fellow neighbor...all over the world who has this game!Cons:*No decals or anything to customize the cars except the colors which you get from going to garages*Very basic storyline. You come into the city. You win cars from races. That's about it. One thing that kept me going back in the first game (the original Most Wanted) was the cool play out of the story. In fact, all the storylines from this franchise. What happened here, EA Sports? This soon becomes a game of numbers wherein your task is to hit 100%. It's different when you hit 100% and everyone asks you what you did find out about the story. It's welcome to see this game back but after you win all the cars..it kinda leaves you wanting more from this game.Updated last March 11, 2013:I've downgraded this review to only 3 stars as although EA has released 3 different DLC packs including the Legends and other free stuff in the game it is ONLY available for the PS3 owners and not yet for the PS Vita. There has been feedback requesting for it but all that Electronic Arts has said is to wait for the exciting news. Unless the company makes this available for this platform, I'm sticking to my 3 star updated review.
Great game!
December 30, 2012
I like that they've literally port over the console version, but I wish they've adjusted it more to fit the Vita screen. The game is fun, and I enjoy the graphics, but I found that after playing for a good 10 mins or more my eyes will strain. It is mostly because of the bad environment textures. The car models are really nice, but this game still feels like it's lacking.

January 4, 2017
It's a solid MP game on PS Vita. Now even on Weekday night you can still find players, at least on the east coast. Network can sometimes be unstable but what can you expect from a wireless device. And talking about MP, it has weapon leveling, prestige, killstreaks. It's Call of Duty, there's no doubt on it. It's just because of the power of Vita is so weak that for the instance it can only supports to run the Nuketown map on less than half of the original area, so spawning right behind your enemy (or vice versa) is a common thing (and please don't expect kill cams.) Due to the fact that the map is so small it's a heaven for SMGs but not for flash bang and knife runners because of the damn control that you have to touch the right side of your screen to throw a grenade or melee it's almost impossible to aim your throw/knife so I constantly get killed by my own grenade after I tried to throw it threw a doorway.Single player wise it just copy and pasted most assets from Black Ops thus you can't feel too much of a difference except in control.BUT, the worst part of this game is its single player. There is no checkpoint (yes you read it). True there are also "operations" in MW2 and MW3 with no checkpoints but those levels are carefully designed by IW and you can have a friend in COOP to revive you. But in this game? Let's put it simple, it's total bs. You have to complete all the different and sometimes misleading objects and survive the rain of fire from enemies without dying or failing any one of the object or the entire mission has to be restarted. I am a patient player and I've beat every single COD on veteran level but this single player campaign gives me cancer.TL;DR If you are looking for a Vita Multiplayer game with population and familiar system (while having strong internet connection like home, don't try it at places like Starbucks), go grab it. If you are only looking for single player campaign experience, go get Infinite Warfare, it's better, I'm serious.

Here's a list of pros and consPros-It still have the cod feel-Online Multiplayer (Max 4v4. You'll hardly notice the difference though)-Create classes (Max 5)-Campaign is full of action, a bit lengthy, and difficult-Hostiles mode aka Spec Ops is somewhat fun-Decent amount of gun selection (except snipers and shotguns)Cons-Not enough snipers and shotguns-NO ZOMBIES!!!-Hostiles or Spec Ops as I like to call it, is SINGLE PLAYER. And there's no gun, perk, or support stations. Just a care package that doesn't always help-kill streaks: UAV, Care package, Counter UAV, Airstrike, Sentry gun, Advance UAV, Helicopter-Multiplayer game modes: TDM, Free-for-all, Dropzone aka headquarters, kill confirm basically TDM, Team Tactical which is all of them on shuffle-Loading multiplayer takes quite a bit longer and sometimes it just randomly drops you-Sensitivity Maximum feels like 5.5-Campaign doesn't have checkpoints and it takes forever for the AI to empty a clip. Oh and the storyline is BORING!!!-To run, you need to press D-pad down or have auto-run which sucks A**.-Because you have to touch the screen to toss a grenade, it's a bit complicated especially if you're trying to bake one-Poor variety in secondary grenade. Just flash & stun-Poor variety in maps and too make it worst, the maps are small. ex: NukeHOUSE. Emphasis on HOUSE.As you can see, the games need a s**tload of improvements. However, I still enjoy playing the game from time to time especially when I'm not home. It's definitely not worth $50 or any thing near that. I paid $20 for my copy and I feel that was a bit much.FYI: If you want the download code for PSP's Cod, buy new
Is NOTHING like the other Call of Duty games...
October 27, 2013
The missions are iffy... They come as challenges rather than the mission style from Black Ops... I was extremely bummed about that. The controls and Gameplay on the other hand aren't too bad. I haven't had a change to give multiplayer a try but from what I can tell it shouldn't be too terribly bad.
Lots of fun, when it connects
January 25, 2013
Call of Duty is one of the big name games out today. It is known mainly for its multiplayer experience. Call of Duty multiplayer is popular because of its variety of game types, weapons, customization, and relative ease of connecting to a match. Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified fails to meet these expectations.Activision announced that they would be creating a Call of Duty on the Vita, exciting many Vita owners. High expectations were set and people waited anxiously for game play footage and information on the game. Many people believed that this would be the game to push Vitas off of the shelves faster. Excitement grew when they announced it would be a Black Ops game. People hoped for a well done Zombies mode with online multiplayer. In addition, people expected a unique story mode like the one present on the Black Ops games for the consoles.High expectations were set for this game. These high expectations soon disappeared when the announced Nihilistic would be developing the game. Nihilistic has recently released a disappointing Resistance game with a mediocre story mode and poor online connectivity. Would the Call of Duty on the Vita become a victim of these fatal flaws as well? The game released the same time as the Black Ops 2 game released on the consoles. Black Ops 2 received very high scores from game critics like IGN. Declassified however scored very poorly.Black Ops Declassified was constructed quickly and it shows in the final product. First off there is no Zombies mode at all. They game does include a hostiles mode which is fun, but only single player. Next, there is no real story mode just a small collection of side missions involving characters from the original Black Ops game. The side missions are fun but brief, and do not provide for a checkpoint system. If you die in a mission you must restart, no matter how far you had progressed in it. This can be very frustrating. The enemies are not very intelligent but can be tricky. Sometimes the will hide in the most awkward spots and kill you before you even locate them. Other times they will shoot at walls. Clearly the focus of this game isn't the campaign. The multiplayer mode could have made up for the lack of content in the campaign. It doesn't. The multiplayer mode includes a decent selection of guns, perks, and killsteraks. Most of the guns are straight from Black ops with a few exceptions like the PP90M1. The guns are rendered in decent graphics and have distinct differences. There are enough perks to satisfy and the key ones are there like "Sleight of Hand". There are no "pro" perks however. The killstreak selection is much smaller than the original Black Ops, but it is enough to reward a good player. There are care packages, spy planes, mortar strikes, advanced spy planes, sentry guns, and an attack helicopter. The game has a few different explosives and grenades including the Bouncing Betty mines. These mines can be very annoying because they are overused. Players will put them all over the place and you will find yourself being killed by them every three seconds, sometimes right when you spawn. The game does have the tomahawk but you can't really aim with it, you can only throw it right down the center of the screen. There are several different multiplayer modes including ones from the Modern Warfare series like "Kill Confirmed" and "Drop Zone". There are no hardcore modes however. The maps are okay, they are scaled down versions of the original Black Ops. For example "Nuketown" became Nukehouse" Overall the multiplayer mode is fun, it even has the option to prestige. There is however one huge problem with the multiplayer mode, it hardly ever connects. When you attempt to play you will find yourself waiting if lobbies for most of the time. Sometimes a game will launch and you will patiently watch the loading screen for well over a minute. Over half of the time this loading screen is all you will see because when it finishes you are greeted with a black screen that escorts you back the the multiplayer home screen. This can be extremely frustrating as it occurs way too frequently. If you do make it in a match, it may be only for the last minute of it. If you get in a lobby the correct time you have the option to vote for the map you want. This is a nice feature but you can rarely use it. It will even launch a game with only two people! One time it launched a game with just me and I sat there and waited only to be taken to a "Draw" match. If they can somehow correct this issue the multiplayer would be quite good and could justify purchasing the game.Black Ops Declassifed has decent graphics, and good multiplayer (when it works). The game however lacks a proper campaign and final touches like a "kill cam" and Zombies. The Hostiles mode is fun but doesn't accommodate for multiplayer which would have made it infinitely better. I chose to give this game 3 stars because despite its numerous flaws it can be quite fun and addicting. I find myself trying to play multiplayer despite the painful waits and random kick outs. I still play it despite the fact that it crashes randomly forcing you to restart the game. It is a fun game, if only they would have polished it more and released a more complete product, more worthy of the price.I would only recommend this product once it decreases in price. Maybe by then the servers would be improved and it would have DLC.Oh and it does include a download voucher for the Call of Duty PSP game. So you can play that on your Vita as well.

AWAFUL GRAPHICS, GOOD GAMEPLAY

It was an OK game that I stopped playing after 1-2 days. I think it was just me growing out of the genre.
Eh, Ok
June 15, 2012
I was very excited for the game, as I love the Console versions. However, I find the controls in this version a little difficult, and slow to respond. Trying to do combos is a bit of a nightmare, and overall makes the game almost unplayable.
Horrible graphics curb a comprehensive package
May 2, 2012
Mortal Kombat for the vita offers a really comprehensive package. It's smooth and fast, combining all of the characters from the main consoles, including all of the modes & DLC additions.Unfortunately, it's ruined by some really horrible, PSP-like graphics. The characters lack any detail, with most everything painted on & blurry. All of them look washed out & jagged. Even the environments, full of life & detail in the console versions, are stale & boring here. It's disappointing because the vita system is more than capable of better graphics. Take Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, a game of similar genre. It runs at a fast fps and looks fantastic on the vita.I've always been a fan of the Mortal Kombat series. However, after playing for just 2 days, this just wasn't worth the $40.

Boring after a few minutes.
Fun for short periods of time.
November 19, 2013
It's fun to play on short trips on the subway but other than that it gets really repetitive. And the car customization is practically missing. It forces you to play with every car, which is really annoying. Another Annoying thing is trying to find all the cars around the city. on the positive side it does look really good.
Not Burnout
October 2, 2013
This game was billed as the "spiritual successor" to the Burnout series. I can't speak to its value as a NFS game, but as a Burnout Game, it fails. It just seems so much slower, and the cars handle so much clunkier. There are maybe two or three that are manageable, but most of them are just a chore to drive. If you had Burnout for PSP and liked it, chances are you are not going to like this. Burnout on PSP was so fast paced and chaotic, you couldn't help but have fun. This game is the opposite. You can wander around the entire open world looking for fun, but all you will find is another cop or yet another poorly handling car.If boring gameplay is the price we must pay for an open world on a portable device, then close my world, please. Burnout Paradise (PS3) and Burnout Legends (PSP) are both far superior to this game. I hope the NFS fans are at least getting enjoyment out of it.
A boring arcade race, not as good as the first most wanted
April 25, 2013
There is a total lack Of story here, there is none. This is just a super fancy (not even that fancy) arcade racing game. Lots of cars to drive, no customization though. You find a Red Dodge charger with a black strip down the middle, all you can do is change the color of it, white/black, yellow/black and so on, will always have stripe and same body kit. Deffenitly avoide this game.
Direct Port = Too Much 4 Vita Screen
January 1, 2013
Hey Buyer,Huff here, listen up. Need for Speed: Most Wanted is a game best played on an actual system. I have a PC-copy of this game and decided to get the Vita-version for whenever i am on the go. I have to say, disappointed; two thing sealed the deal and had me put this game away forever...The Controls: though smooth in steering the fact that i am unable to control the amount of acceleration i apply to my auto annoys me very much. you press the 'R' button and its pretty much open throttle from there.Screen Size: boy this kills the game for me. like all the other user have pointed out. EA/Critreon directly port the game from its big consle cousin. you do not miss out on anything excpet the fact your screen size has been crippled a billion fold. picking out regular traffic from the competitors as you race is a major set back. but not only that, there are times you cannot tell the road from a wall :o( OUCH... will make your game extreme tough to play.Buyer, if you are a person that has been playing via big console or PC? do not use ur hard earned cash for this version. We have been spoiled by alot of pretty visuals and gaphics processing. to try and jump from that to Vita version will mostly fustrate you as suppose to extended the fun.On the plus, the game is fun. the game has been directly port so this means they did not cut back on any of the activities that were done on the console-versions. If you are not an individual that had been playing a console-version there is possibly a glimmer of hope for u in regards to enjoying the Vita version. however, if you are coming from the Xbox360/PS3/or PC version there is a 90% chance you will dislike and regret this purchase.Anyway, thanks for reading and i hope this will give even more perspective about this product.
Average, with a lot of design UI flaws
December 14, 2012
I look for a few things in racing games so that they are playable for a long time. NFS for vita does not have them. I've played most of the franchise all the way from some of the original first games.- restarting/retrying a race is cumbersome, you can not do it from the end of a race (you get thrown straight into free roam), the option is in the menu(s) (depending on which menu you use. If during a race and you restart it still requires a fair amount of time to load the race up again, where you also have to skip the 15/30 second artsy cutscene. It works but certainly is not as fast/fluid as it could be.-Racing against most wanted cars, they turn out to be the easier races, but also the cars are white, which ironically is the most common color of traffic cars. As a result on a screen of this size it is really easy to id a white car, ram it only to realize milliseconds before impact you are ramming a pedestrian (and as a result cut into a crash cutscene).- AI in general is nothing special, I am fairly sure they do that annoying thing all racing games do, never too far behind you, regardless of how perfect your run is.-I run the game in airplane mode, I'm not into the online score stuff (sorry I have no friends...). So maybe I'm missing something but after a race I do not clearly see my current time in comparison to my previous time. There is no sense of individual improvement. The replay value of racing games for me was racing a course only to improve my own time over and over.-UI is not clear what I'm racing for (like a goal time, or what my place is). I would think they ought to align or place these in better locations on the screen, half of the notifications must work great on a desktop or 1080p screen but here some of notifications are just so small you can barely read them (the notifications that 'link' to the car's taillights). On top of this notification displays of a take out and etc. take over so much of the screen... sometimes you just can't see the horizon.- I thought I'd be okay with less cars on the raod, as many people have reported the traffic is very little in this game (typically 4 or less cars aside from you and other racers), but I am not. I'd far rather have MORE cars then better graphics. Drop the graphics give me more of a race through traffic.- this does not impact gameplay, but the cutscene videos are just totally random. Some have just crazy psychedelic filters and others are just ridiculous spinning camera scenes. I'm sure someone worked very hard to make EACH race have it's own 'original' video, but frankly, I don't want the system to have to load a video and as a result take even longer to get me to play the game. Feels like a rush of effort on their part. The graphics are nice, but NOT OMG cool. The driving is okay, but the world is kinda meh and dull. I'll continue playing this, but overall I think it feels like a lot of leftovers from the other products, and too much attention was focused on the wrong things. Simple reconsiderations for the device this was being made for would have dramatically improved the gameplay.

It didn't come with the PSP download code like I thought it would.
June 30, 2017
I got this for my son and he says: I ordered this game because everywhere online said if I got it new and not on the PlayStation store it would come with the PSP game "CoD: Roads To Victory" as an additional download code in the box. I got the game and opened the case to found only the Black Ops game. I'm quite dissatisfied with the outcome, as I wouldn't have purchased the game at such a high price if I had known it didn't come with the PSP game. The questions answered even said it would come with it.

Dissapointing
January 1, 2015
The game plays and looks alright but there just isn't anything here. The single player is objectives, not story based. The mulitplayer has too few players to be worth while... if you can find anyone to play with.
Like checkpoints? Learn not to.
March 4, 2014
No checkpoints and no reason to replay missions. The only fun that is had with this title is in the first 10 minutes. After that you are left with a game is worth more selling on ebay than to keep. This is not cod. It just has the name. Try Killzone Mercs on ps vita. It is a lot better than this which is not saying much but you get the idea.

Game is boring and glitchy. The PS4 revamp is much better. You don't get a rush from speed and the world is glitchy (cars and road disappearing etc) and the graphics are lousy. Skip this one. I give it a star because it has cars...

Horrible reiteration of a good game
June 8, 2013
I have been a huge NFS fan since the beginning. So far have enjoyed most of the games and thought this would be a good redo of a pretty decent NFS game. Boy was I wrong. This game truly sucks. I would have to say it is probably one of the worst but not the worst. That title goes to NFS:The Run. Needless to say its pretty horrible. I don't honestly know what EA is thinking having Criterion make this game. They are only good at making Burnout and suck at making NFS. Here are my reasons for disliking the game.- No customization at all. Not even a little bit.- Controls are atrocious.- The crash cam thing is really annoying.- The camera bouncing up and down whenever I go over a jump and hit the ground is disorienting and annoying.- No story line. I know some people don't like that in a racer but if I am playing NFS:MW I want a story line like I had in the original.- The graphics are ok but could be better.- The layout of the city is a horrible design and has way to much crap in it.I really wanted to like this game and forced myself to play even though it wasn't enjoyable, thinking I would get use to the controls, but it didn't change. The more I played the more I hated this game. Now I wont even check out Criterion/EA's next NFS game. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone who wants a good NFS game like we have had in the past and I will either be returning this or selling it.
