Side by Side Comparison of: Suave vs Secret

I feel like this is one of the only things that keeps me from sweating and it smells great. I've tried a lot of different stuff, and this seems to work wonders on a sweaty lady such as myself!

This stuff has been working amazingly. I has recently resorted to using my fiance's deodorant because at night I would get really bad body odor for some reason. I looked for a clinical deodorant (and had tried the Degree kind to no avail). This kind keeps me smelling fresh all through the night and day!

This stuff is amazing! I have kind of an opposite routine, I shower at night before bed, every other day, so the instructions work out prefect for me. I shower, put it on (2 clicks) and go to bed. 48 hours later when I am showering again, I still smell fresh! CRAZY! It also has not left any residue on any shirts. I am going to Thailand soon, and this is just what I need to keep me smelling fresh all day.

By far the best deodorant. I've tried several other brands, all natural deodorants and even other similar clinical deodorants. Secrect's Clinical strength beats all the others by far. I put it on once and I it works throughout the whole day and I don't ever need to re-apply no matter what activities I do. It smells great too and I'm very sensitive to smells.This is the best price around I've seen so I'll continue to order through Amazon's subscribe and save to save myself at least $4 every time :)

Shockingly effective! Though I am petite and very clean, my persistent state of hyper-arousal (stemming from complex PTSD) causes me to sweat profusely. Perspiration triggered by a state of stress is more and worse smelling than ordinary perspiration. After years of trying more natural remedies I relented and gave this product a shot. Wowee! My silk shirts are ever beholden to the magic of this "Secret."

I've always used Mitchum. I thought it was the best. I decided to see about subscribe and save with amazon because the store I buy most of my groceries doesn't carry Mitchum anyway so wanted to see what Amazon carries. I found this product Secret Clinical Strength Waterproof and I have to say it blows Mitchum out of the water.This is by far the best antiperspirant deodorant I've ever used and I am keeping this on subscribe and save!

Ive been using Degree motion active deodorant but felt like i needed something different. Read that Secret clinical strength is one of the best deodorants for active women. I got the sport scent, its light and fresh. I like the fact that the deodorant keeps my under arms dry all day, no matter what how active i am. The scent remains strong for about 10-12hours i'd say. I am a little disappointed tho cos when u first use it, u have to click many many times for the deodorant to come up.. feels like ure paying for the full product but only getting alil more than half of whats really inside. And pricewise, its very pricey for just deodorant.

I love the way that the 'crank' feature provides just the right amount of product with each turn. I don't dispense too much or too little. And, I've been very pleased with the action of the deodorant - it has a very pleasant fragrance without being overpowering.

I love Secret Clinical Strength smooth solid deodorant. This was a new scent for me, and I paid a little more to try it out. It works just as the other Clinical Strength smooth solid's do, but the scent is "lavender". I'm not sure I'll purchase this again because the lavender smells somewhat man-ish. I don't know how else to explain that. It's just not totally a lavender scent--almost a little musky, maybe? It's not bad, just different.

This is on my subscription order and have been using this product for years. I don't know what it was with either my body or that the manufacturers changed formulas... but I started sweating more and needed to use stronger protection in the morning and evening! This does the trick. I don't like having to use it as much, but it does work!

It smells nice, but in a subtle way, and has been effective where other deodorants have failed to endure. It's a cream/paste consistency that pushes up through a cut away cap. A little of the cream goes a long way, so if you need to apply more than a couple of swipes, I'd recommend waiting for it to dry before dressing, as it shows up on clothing. Once it dries, it won't show up. Overall, this is a good deodorant and I'm satisfied.

I love that this will last all day at work and will leave me barely smelling bad or anything at all under my arms. I have to walk a lot and in Florida the heat/humidity can be unbearable. Coming back to my office with sweaty and stinky armpits is a terrible feeling, so I'm glad that this keeps things under control. When you first apply it, though, it has a strong scent of like men's deodorant mixed with lavender. Not that it's terrible or anything, but I expected something more feminine. Either way, it's very effective and doesn't leave marks on my shirts.

It works but left white residue on my clothes, I have black dress that the dry cleaners can't get it out! But it stopped the sweating and that was the purpose!

I've continued to use this product at night, but it is certainly not providing the same dryness that Rx antiperspirant does. It keeps my armpits mostly dry, but it's no match for my Canada goose, even on a 30 degree day.

My Secret Clinical Strength deodorant is almost gone so I feel I've had it long enough to write an accurate review. I do think that it helps excessive underarm sweat more than a "regular" brand of deodorant, but I don't know that I will be purchasing it again. In the instructions it says to use two clicks in the morning and at night... I only use one click because the product is so wet and takes so long to dry that using two clicks would take more time to dry than what I have to get ready in the morning. My main reasons for possibly not being a repeat customer is that the product takes a long time to dry and I feel the product gets used too quickly for how expensive it is. A regular stick of deodorant lasts me twice as long (even though I only used one click of this deodorant in 24 hours- not the 2 in am and 2 in pm that it recommends) and is less than half the price so I'm not sure this product is worth it. I may keep searching.

While I normally enjoy the clinical strength deodorant by Secret for some reason this waterproof one crystalized. I'm not sure if it partially melted when being delivered, but the entire bottle was full of balls of crystalized material that I would have to brush off of my armpits. I still gave the product 3 stars because I believe it does work as an antiperspirant; however, I personally could not wait for it to run out!

The deodorant itself works fine. I was surprised one day last week when I felt wet in the underarm area, but it was a highly hot and humid day in the south. It was the first team the deodorant seemed to fail me. My real problem is with the dispenser. I have carpal tunnel syndrome. On an average day, I have to use a towel around the bottom to give me the grip I need to be able to move the product through the dispenser. On bad days, I've had to have my husband do it. I'm a 43-year-old woman, so can't imagine how difficult this would be for a senior citizen or someone with arthritis. I ended up throwing away half of the tube because I couldn't stand struggling every day to put on deodorant. Pretty sure your deodorant is supposed to prevent sweat, not cause it.

I actually love the product. I have been using it for seven years, and I have had no problem with underarm moisture that whole time (save for when I tried something natural to avoid the aluminum).One note to a few people who have reviewed this product poorly: it is meant to be applied in the evening before you go to bed. This allows it to absorb, and you shouldn't have any problems with the product having a perpetually slick texture. I apply it in the morning whenever I forget, and just use a little. A little goes a long way!The only gripe I have with this product, which has always been a gripe, is that every single one I have ever used has a problem with the turning mechanism. The dial on the bottom, at some point or other, gets jammed so badly I just don't have the hand/wrist strength to turn it at all. I have to bust out the pliers and tackle the dial with those when this problem occurs. If it isn't obvious why this is a problem, I don't always have pliers (why would I take them on a trip?), and basic principle: why the heck should a deodorant company make a product that actually requires the use of pliers to fully function? Come on, industrial designers and deodorant container engineers! I know you can pull your minds together and make something a bit more practical.Other than that hiccup, I do recommend Secret's Clinical Strength deodorant for anyone with embarrassing/distracting/irritating underarm moisture. I'm not a doctor, so let that be known, but it has been a reliable staple in my daily routine for years.

I have bought this in the past and swore I wouldn't buy it again. Shame on me for letting it happen again! Very hard to physically spin to actually get the product to come out every day. It is beyond frustrating. The product itself is fine, which is why I gave it "one" star.

Doesn't smell like lavender at all. Works okay.

It was not what I was expecting

Just had a 90 degree day here in WI. I went half way through the day and needed more. Doesn't work as well as it should. And it doesn't really smell like the gel lavender smell. Smells weird.

I never thought I'd see the day where I'm reviewing deodorant. Welp, when you spend nearly 15 dollars on it, I guess it has a lot of expectations. It's okay, I work around people all day in close proximity, so I am all about purchasing something that is a superior product, but I really don't think this is that great. I have hyperhydrosis as well and this honestly compares to a regular deodorant. If you are a woman looking for a strong deodorant I highly suggest purchasing men's deodorant. There are a lot of scents out there these days that aren't too manly! Plus, it will save you some cash!

Don't know about any one else but there doesn't seem to be any particular "clinical strength" about this. It smells nice and basically works like Old Spice from the closest pharmacy/grocery store. Have not seen any particular strength in preventing sweating that deserves a "clinical strength" label

So disappointed. This products works no better than the over the counter brand, or Suave for that matter.

Crazy hard to activate this product. Why is the dial so hard to turn? I'm speaking as a consumer, but also as a professional. My fingers hurt from trying to turn the dial so that it can be a useful product .

Don't know if it was a bad batch or what, but this deodorant had little crystals in it that really hurt when I tried to apply it. Not only that, but my armpits have turned a strange color after using this for a while. I used to love this product. And I used it for a long time with no issues. But it's time I make a switch.

this smells exactly like Pledge, so much I am wondering if its real? VERY creamy almost like a cream sunscreen, not like other Clinical strengths I tried.

Doesn't work even though it's stressed sweat I suggest you get something even stronger. ZeroSweat is really good. I pair it with secret fresh powder after it drys. You won't regret it I promise.

Wish this was a great product for me but it cause itchiness and irritation. I have used secret for years and have gone back to the original formula and the itch went away, so I know it was this product (which was a costly error as I bought 3 of the clinical before I realized the irritation, ouch). Otherwise, it seemed to work and protect longer, but not worth the health risk, especially when I am thinking of finding an even more natural product.
