I love these! I have never tried Cod Liver oil before, but I love these . Im not 100% sure if it is this or the vitamins I am taking, but my skin has cleared up so much. i have struggled with acne for about 10 years. There are so many in this bottle, it is a great value and seems to be a great quality and trusted brand. will definitely purchase again.

I prefer the one with lemon flavor. I'll get a hint of lemon flavor but never any fish flavor.

Am truly hoping my next blood work shows and improvement in HDL good and bad. No fishy taste or smell and no icky burps- so great product,

Great tasking Cod Liver Oil. All you taste is lemon which I love. My health has improved since I started taking this. My bloodwork results are much better.

As a kid, I had to take Cod Liver Oil every morning. I would cry, beg, and plead with my mom not to take it. Every tablespoon made me shudder all the way down to my toes. Fast forward 47 years later and I'm reading about all the health benefits of Cod Liver Oil. Just reading about it made me shudder all the way down to my toes, but I decided the benefits far outweighed my childhood phobia and ordered Carlson Norwegian Cod Liver Oil with Natural Lemon Flavor. Needless to say, I wasn't excited when the bottle arrived and I had to try it. I was pleasantly, actually, very pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted! Not fishy like the oil I remembered. I love the light lemon aftertaste! I even sent a photo of myself taking a big spoonful to my mom. She couldn't believe it! When I saw her, I made her try it. She was surprised how delicious it tasted too! Paybacks mom, in a good way!!

The only great tasting cod liver oil I've found. I even use it on salads instead of olive oil.

This stuff will make your skin and hair so shiny and smooth! Read Dr. Weston Price's page about the missing Vitamin A requirements in our diet and the importance of getting enough from food. 20,000 IU per day is what he recommends. I took this during and after my pregnancy for proper brain and eye growth for my infant daughter without any side effects or sign of liver toxicity. I will probably take this the rest of my life for as long as I can afford it! :)

My hair and nails look so much better, and it totally got rid of my dry eye problem. I was pleasantly surprised. I use the unflavored in my morning pineapple juice...can't taste the oil with the pineapple juice, very helpful. It works for me!

This stuff is AMAZING! NO fishy taste or after effects. It is a nice light oil and is VERY easy to swallow! Highly recommend this product.

Supplements are hard to review because I never know if they actually made me feel better; however, I like to take them even if they aren't the highest quality. These have no aftertaste and I generally feel better but I cant say these were what did the trick.

I have only been using the product for about a month, but I like it so far. It doesn't tasty fishy, but I don't think it tastes like lemon either. I can say I love the flavor, but it is subtle enough to swallow with no problems. I definitely would not bite one open and take it that way. The bottle is larger than expected and I usually take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening.

This cod liver goes down easily! And if you happen to burp a little after taking it, it tastes like lemon!!! NOT FISH! I love how I feel taking this product. Truly a great item

Good product but too pricey

I thought i ordered the lemon flavor, which is bad enough. I received the original and dread taking it. I see why it shows up in memoirs as vile

No unpleasant oily taste.

It strengthens the immune system and promotes joint health. And it doesn't taste like the awful cod liver oil our mothers used to dose us with back in the day.

I've searched for other cod liver oils to give my boys, but always stick with this one. The price is right, and the taste is great. All three boys take it without complaining. We often add it to our smoothies, and it makes them sweeter. I o lay gave 4 stars bc I am huge on fermented cod liver oil, but I can't afford for all of us to take it, so this is the next best thing.

Not sure if it's typical for this type of product to be so high in vitamin A. Can't take it with my multi-vitamins because I'd be overdoing the A.

Lessens the burping problem for me, but did not completely eliminate it. Just a little than better than the standard brands.

These are really big capsules. Wish they were smaller, would be easier to swallow.

Should have got lemon favor!!

The taste is fine. I wish the Vitamin A content was higher. The vitamin A in this is fairly low in my opinion.

This was working great for a while. Tasted fine, the lemon was very subtle but nice. However one day after taking this I got extremely sick and started throwing up. Not sure if something was wrong with the expiration date or what but I kept it refrigerated and took the recommended dosage. A little scared to try this again after going through that.

It is really okay. my kids take half teaspn regularly. It is just that i ll have teaspn after breakfast, and i ll burp the rest of the day. No fishy smell, just fresh lemon smell. It is just the oil that gives me the discomfort

The price is reasonable, but the doctor who sells it to me at double the cost has much fresher oil. I could tell the difference, but only because of the price, I'm giving this another try.

i gave it a try but they don't sit well on my stomach. The refund time passed so I'm stuck with something I won't use.

The product is a good one. My complaint is how it was received. The capsules were in one big clump causing me to assume it had been exposed to heat. I have to carefully separate them.

It has sorbitol in it. A no no for the brain. I love the taste when added to yogurt, though.

Probably a great product, however we as a family just could not get past the taste. It's tastes to me like lemon furniture polish smells. I really wanted to like it, but could not get anyone in the family on board.

I usually buy the same brand but regular fish oil and After doing some research i learned the cod liver is the best fish oil I could get. Well the taste of the regular lemon carlson is great, this one is nasty. My entire family has to cover our noses for this to go down, yuck.

Capsules are huge, got stuck in my throat, and hard to swallow. Had to give away since vendor doesn't take exchanges.

Disappointed with their customer service. I reached out to them and no one responded back to me. Do not get if you do not want "beef gelatin". They do not specify what type of gelatin they use. I haven't used it and I can't return it, so most likely it will go in the garbage. If you don't want the beef gelatin then go with the liquid one cod liver oil. I got that and I like it better.

Soo, I bought this stuff because it had pretty good reviews. Not only good reviews, but it also had a high number of reviews. I do a lot of research on products before I buy them typically. It's one of the things I like about amazon - you can rely on the reviews to help with your research.At the time of purchasing this, I also purchased several other vitamins that I felt like I needed.To get to the point - This stuff, NO GOOD. At least not my bottle. I'm assuming the majority of people didn't have the problem I had or I would have seen a review about it already.Without trying to give TMI, this stuff gave me diarrhea for WEEKS! And that's saying something as I am an exceptionally clean eater. Organic, grass-fed, local, practically NOTHING processed is in my diet. I'm even doing a 100 day "whole 30" challenge right now.It took me quite a while to figure out this stuff was the culprit.I cut out coffee.I quit consuming any and all dairy.I quit consuming any and all gluten.I lowered my fat intake.I stopped taking the other supplements I had purchased.I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out what the heck was causing this problem. As I believe all health issues start in the gut, I was really starting to get freaked out. Especially since I'm so good to my body.Finally it dawned on me....that darn fish oil...I haven't cut that out yet. So I tried, and guess what? The VERY FIRST day my symptoms subsided.Ok, that's isolated. Let's try it again.The next day got better.The next day even better.And the next day I was totally back to normal.I've even brought coffee back into my diet. No problems.So, this stuff - no go - at least for me. I think I got a bad bottle, but I'm past the return date...so, here I am.Hopefully this helps you. If these symptoms happen to you - return the bottle and request a new one, promptly.

These capsules must be for horses. They are too big to swallow. Total waste of money.

I bought this product based on the good reviews it had received. When I received the product I noticed that one of the ingredients was beef fat. Why would beef fat be added to a cod liver oil "natural" supplement?

I have been using seven seas cod liver oil for a while and try this recently. Not as good as Seven Seas brand.

This product is waste of your money. I just realized that one of the ingredients is retinyl palmitate- which is the synthetic vitamin A added which is link to cancer and should be avoided. Do your own research. I was taking this oil thinking I am doing something good for my body and in natural form, but I was consuming synthetic vitamin A. I just threw my not finished bottle to trash!!!! Also it makes me question Vitamin D content from oil too because when you look at the label it is combined cod liver oil with cholecalciferol which is regular vitamin D you can buy anywhere. I bought this product thinking it is all natural oil and natural vitamin D coming only from oil but it is not. I do not trust this brand anymore. I will look for something better, so I would not have to worry about getting cancer from synthetic Vitamin A.

The ingredients listed aren't all from natural sources. Vitamin A is from retinyl palmitate. Vitamin d is from lanolin , process from sheep wool . Please goggle and do your research if you don't know what they are . I bought it thinking all vitamin is from cod liver . Very disappointed. Wasted my money .

The vitamin A is from retinal palmitate, the vitamin D is from cholecalciferol, the vitamin E is from alpha-tocopherol and mixed tocopherols. This is not a natural product and the pictures in the item description are lies and fraud. Due to the item being a liquid, it is too difficult for anyone to return. Buyer beware!

arrived drenched in oil and has to be trashed

Ughhh! Nasty. I finally threw it out. It made me feel sick to eat a spoonful of oil. It wasn't the flavor, it was the feel of eating oil that was nauseating to me. I never felt any different while I was using it, either.
