Side by Side Comparison of: KINGSO vs Grover

I bought this for my 3 year-old grandson and he just loves it. To be honest I really don't know what this instrument is used for. I saw it on Amazon while I was searching for a flute for my grand-daughter. It was within my budget so I purchased it and I am glad I did. The flute has provided my family with hours of entertainment.

Quality seems to be great. Holds up well with daily use and when it acts as the occasionaly weapon for my kids. Never used the cleaning brush but its more of a stick than a brush. Kids love it and i loved the price color options and quality!

This is a beautiful instrument for a great price! My daughter received so many compliments, from her classmates, the first day she used it. It is a really nice color and sounds great. The clear case is an additional bonus. ❤

I really love playing this recorder. It has a good sound and it's a lot of fun to mess around with. My son hates it, though. I have to play it where he can't hear. Everyone's a music critic.

It does exactly what you want when you want it to. No problems at all. I would recommend it to friends.

Solid and decent for the price...not worth any more or any less. I would purchase it again. They did send wrong color, so if that matters, beware.

This recorder works really well especially for a 3rd grade music class! This is a good value and it works well.

It is what it is and every parent hate that message from the teacher, “kids will be in a recorder concert this year.” Ugggg, not again. But it’s a plastic recorder and does the job.

Don't know anything about flutes. The kids love em, we hate em.

Very cute but since it's made out of porcelain, I wouldn't recommend it for a young child. My daughter chipped hers within a week just by handling it the way small children do.

Pitches are just a tiny bit off. It's one solid tube, and I'm not crazy about the alignment of the holes in the lower segment. Not bad at all however for the price and the student was very happy.

Perfect starter instrument for my daughter! She loves the turquoise color. She does have to clean it quite a bit, I'm not sure if that's normal for these types of instruments but I'm very glad it came with a cleaner.

The 8-year old daughter likes her recorder. I caution parents that it takes a LOT of patience to learn how to use this instrument.

I can't give this 5 stars because of course it makes a sound that only a music teacher could love. It's a well made recorder in a fun color. It sounds just like it should, which is great until you have to listen to "Hot Crossed Buns" on repeat.

Exactly as expected. Daughter loved the color and played it constantly. Unfortunately, she dropped it on the hardwood floor and it broke within 3 days.

I bought this because my daughter needed a recorder for music class and I didnt like the idea of her using the schools. This worked over all but it's made out of plastic and not a sturdy plastic. It was dropped and now there is a crack where the finger and mouth piece connect. I guess for the price I couldn't expect more. Definitely not made with the quality that my recorder was made with. This is more of a jade color than a green color but it's still pretty and my daughter was happy with it, so that's all that matters.

Color in picture is not the true color. It appears to be a light minty blue, but is actually more green. No big deal though...just a head's up if you were looking for a certain color.

It served it's purpose for the length of my daughters music introduction on recorders. Son stepped on it barefoot and it broke very easy.

broke after being dropped on the floor by another child at school from a height of like 3 ft. It seemed like it was very thick heavy duty product but it snapped like a twig. I guess not the greatest for elementary schoolers.

Decent... not a fan of the label on the front, but it is what it is. Gets the job done.

I would have given this 5 stars because it is a very nice recorder except, the case it comes in was open and there was no cleaning rod

Sounds kind of like a toy instead of the recorders they play at school. I bought his for my daughter to practice on, got the job done.

C was out of tune...

overpriced flute

Did not work for school related use. The music teach told her it was out of tune, the hole was too big. So ticked, especially since others said it worked in school for their child.

While this is a pretty recorder and seems to play fairly well the quality is not very good. My daughter had this one day and was holding it and it broke. She was not rough with it in anyway. I am really disappointed because the reviews were good for this instrument.

It looked like a nice instrument but It was broken upon arrival

This is a crappy recorder. Some notes are too hard to play at all, and most of them sound bad even when you get them right on.I mean, a recorder is not really a pleasant instrument. But I wish we'd started out with one that cost a few dollars more than this one. We ended up doing that after a couple frustrating weeks of listening to this one.

Horrible sound quality and nearly impossible to play without shrieking.

The recorder showed up obviously used. The plastic case it was in had smudges and dirt, as did the recorder itself, which also had scratches.

Note holes are off.

It arrived snapped in half and no one will respond to my requests for help. I need a new one ASAP and I can't get through to anyone to send it out. Meanwhile my poor little 3rd grade daughter is hysterical because everyone else in her class gets to participate in music class and she doesn't because I can't get anyone to send us a new one right away.

There was mold in the cleaning tool and it looked like the instrument had been used. Disgusting!!!
