Five Star Reviews: | 79% Nice Knives for the Money September 10, 2017 I bought a set of these knives for my granddaughter who was setting up an apartment after living in a dorm. I was not expecting much, but the reviews were good and if the knives were no good, there wasn't much lost. But when she unwrapped them, I was impressed. The different sizes were perfect for a first set of knives and the blades were extremely sharp. I expect the coating (paint?) on the blades to wear off, but who cares so long as the blades stay reasonably sharp and can be re-sharpened. My impression is that this set is a heck of a good deal for the money spent. And, they are very attractive and each knife comes with it own protective sheath so they are easy to store with other kitchen tools in a drawer. A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR KITCHEN July 18, 2017 Saw this presentation on HSN was supposedly marked down from 50 to 25 for their birthday sale.plus 5 for SH. Came to PC to order and thought "wonder if Amazon has this?...so I checked.......yayyyyyyy.......20 and free SH...........PLUS the bread slicer (the orange one) was NOT in the HSN offer........needless to say I DID GOOD>>>LOL.....these knives are justFABULOUS........make your kitchen chores easier and get these....plus they make me smile with the pops of color 10 dollars cheaper and an extra knife..........Life is good with Amazon I love everything about these! March 22, 2017 I can't tell you how much I love these knives. My mother-in-law has a set identical to these, though a different brand, and she spent over $60 for them. When I showed these to her, she was blown away at how similar they were to her own set. When I told her how much I'd spent on them, she lost her mind. I love the variety of sizes and the colors make any kitchen stand out. I love that they come with guards and how sharp they are. I've only had them for a month now, but they slice through fruit, meat, bread and cheese perfectly and with ease every time. Very Sharp March 6, 2017 Great to look at with a nice pop of color in the kitchen. They have a nice heft, not too light, as you would expect they will shave a peach. Have not had to sharpen yet, (3 months) except the small paring knife, which sharpened well. Honestly cannot decide what a couple are for, especially the large serrated knives, but they are all easy to handle, reasonably priced and nice. I often reach for these over my "expensive" knives! Worth every penny and then some. June 4, 2016 Considering the low price, I wasn't sure what I would get with these knives, but I trust the Cuisinart name, and I figured it was worth a shot. I originally bought these so that I wouldn't have to keep taking my "good" kitchen knives on camping trips, but to my surprise, I love them so much that I've kept them in the kitchen to complement the knives I already had. They are super sharp, and have a great ergonomic handle. The weight and balance is really nice. The set includes every type of knife you might need, and I love the fact that each one comes with it's own protective blade guard. When I do take them camping, or to a potluck or anywhere else outside of my home, it's great to be able to both protect the blade from damage, but also to protect the inside of the bags I'm using for transport, and the fingers that will be reaching into them. I also have the option of storing them without the guard because they will stick to the magnetic knife holder I have on my backsplash. My favorite knife of the set is the bread knife, which slices through the crunchiest crust with ease, but also can handle a tender crumb without tearing it up. I also love the yellow utility knife for slices thin skinned fruits and vegetables like tomatoes. It's also great to have a second chef's knife as when I'm cooking with someone else, that's the one everyone seems to need the most. I think these would make a great gift for a young person who is setting up their first home; good knives and cutting boards are so useful! Good for the money April 25, 2016 I bought these knives in January. As of now (April 25), they are still sharp and in great condition. The sheaths that come with them are great, too, and I'm glad they were including for knife storage. Now, it's best to hand wash these knives and carefully dry them rather than throwing them in the dishwasher - this way, they don't wear as quickly. They cut smoothly every time and I've never felt as though they weren't worth the money. If you don't have a budget for expensive knives, these will definitely serve their purpose for the time being. They aren't high end knives that will last you ages, but with proper care you'll get good use of out them for sure.Overall, I'm satisfied.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. | 46% Good stuff for having in a kitchen March 25, 2017 I like these cutting mats, especially the vibrant colors, the size (bigger than I expected) and the pictures imprinted on each of them indicating the products to use for. They do not take much space, easy to wash and clean. I love the little indicators on each mat September 2, 2016 Exactly what I needed! I use these mats all the time. After each use I usually soak in a bleach/lemon mixture to make sure all germs are taken care of, then I slide them into the dishwasher. They're flexible, which means I can put them or use them anywhere. I love the little indicators on each mat, depicting either chicken, fish, beef, or veggies. Even with being used for the past two weeks, no significant knife cuts have been produced. Overall, great product! Perfect for what I needed April 22, 2016 Purchased these after a co-worker recommended them. I've used them weekly and they do get knife marks left in them, but they work as they should and I wash in the dishwasher. I will probably have to replace sooner than if I purchased a thicker cutting board, but they work for what I need and the price is such that I can replace without feeling like I've over spent. I love these cutting mats December 3, 2015 I love these cutting mats. Great value and extremely convenient for anyone who cooks. They are so easy to use when adding ingredients - just fold and transport. This is my second purchase in 3 years. These cutting mats last well, but after using them daily and putting them in the dishwasher afterwards, they got a bit mal-formed. If you havn't tried these then you're missing out June 10, 2015 This is my 3rd set of these and I love them. 3rd set because the first set sat unused (they were a gift) until I finally decided to give this terrible idea a try and was amazed how well they worked and was a fan ever since. I place one on top of my bamboo cutting board for easy clean up while still being good for my knives. The second set I bought because I never wanted to not have them on hand. And finally the third set because I am on a 4 month business trip and I like to make sushi in my hotel and my wife wouldn't let me take the mats we already had. I love these mats June 7, 2015 I love these mats! They are NOT durable, they will show lots of scratches and knife marks after a few months and will also stain slightly if you are cutting anything that bleeds color (e.g. kimchi, beets, etc.). So if you buy them, know that they will need to be replaced periodically. I didn't find this to be a problem because I think they are well priced. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 12% Very happy with this knife set June 1, 2017 Very happy with this knife set. I do wish hat there were more medium sized knives. I feel like I got one small and 5 large knives. All work really well. Love that they each have their own sheath to cover the blade that matches the knife so I don't have to guess which one fits. I'd buy Cuisinart again for sure. Very nice! May 11, 2017 I just received these, but am really impressed with the weight and design. I was expecting light, flimsy "throw away" knives, but that is not what I received. The price is excellent in my view. These are sturdy and cut very well. They are sharp, so I have no idea why people are saying they sharpen them. The covers are great. You can reach into your drawer without slicing off your hand. I am holding a star to see if they are really dishwasher proof. I have never owned a knife that stands up to that promise and life is to short to do dishes. Great knives but not dishwasher safe. October 27, 2016 These knives have worked great for us. My biggest complaint with them is that they aren't dishwasher safe. We have five kids and dishwasher safe is a BIG deal over here. I hadn't noticed they weren't until they got here. I also think it is a pain to wash the covers each time. However, I do have a chaotic life and time is of the utmost importance. Those factors might not affect other buyers. I do, however, LOVE the fun colors. They make me happy every time I look at them. The most important factor is that they work well. I have been able to cut things so good with these knives. Could benefit from dimples and a serrated bread knife, but overall a very good value knife set. May 19, 2016 We could do without the multi-coloring, which is subjectively gaudy and unnecessary. The cross contamination selling point seems more marketing fad than viable concern. But for twenty bucks or less, this knife set seems a solid bargain. The individual sheathing is a very nice touch, and being plastic it should hold up well. The non-stick coating makes the blades easier to clean and slightly less prone to vegetables, like potatoes, sticking to the sides as you cut. But it's not quite as effective as grooved blades in terms of the latter. Some have criticized the blades for being dull and/or unbalanced. Expectedly, they're not as razor sharp as a single $100 chefs knife might be, much less an $800 blade. But any knife is going to dull with use and need re-sharpening. The sharper the blade, usually the softer the steel, and accordingly the faster it'll dull. I'd label these "expectedly" sharp, considering their mass produced nature. As such, the steel in them is likely slightly harder so, while it can't be honed quite as fine, it's also less susceptible to rust and won't dull as quickly for the average consumer who may not be into near constant blade upkeep. Don't expect hand-crafted folded steel from the Orient. No exotic Smithing of yesteryear was incorporated into the production. No doubt the very latest modern manufacturing has to offer was used, like every other mass produced item, to maximize cost efficiency over quality, relative to the demands and needs of the majority market doesn't use a kitchen knife professionally or is willing to sacrifice 20% performance for 80% cost savings. These are easily as sharp as kitchen knives we've used costing 4-5x as much, just more affordably mass manufactured. The balance thing, somebody will need to explain to me. They're not throwing knives, so I don't quite comprehend that vein of criticism. And I say that as someone who's studied knife throwing enough to know how to throw a knife be it balanced or unbalanced. Not to imply I'm any good at it, just that I've studied the dynamics and mechanics of throwing enough to equate familiarity. If anything, I'd presume a kitchen knife ideally would have more weight in the blade than the handle, which these do. Please correct me, if I'm mistaken - always good to learn something. The only real criticisms I have is that the wavy bread knife, while it can be sharpened, doesn't actually cut bread as well as other serrated designs that can't be sharpened (and never seem to need to be sharpened, for cutting bread anyway). And it'd be nice if at least the two largest knives had dimples cut into the sides to better prevent what you're slicing from sticking to the blade. Neither of which should increase the price of the set to implement. ... and currently all the knifes I own are so dull they won't even cut butter March 11, 2016 I bought this set because it was on sale for $20 and currently all the knifes I own are so dull they won't even cut butter. Each of the 6 knives comes with it's own color coded sheath. They were all for the most part very sharp and easy to use. The only two knifes that were meh was the bread knife and that "utility" knife if I remember correctly (the yellow one - looks like a giant dangerous banana). Perhaps, as being a kitchen novice I am unable to unlock their true potential. So far after a couple uses the paint has not chipped/flaked/rubbed off but it's definitely a good set for budget conscious chefs. Plus, the bright set really brightens up my dull utensil drawer and makes it easy to find each knife. Fun, Light Weight, Easy Grip Cutlery Set December 4, 2015 These are cute, novel, kitchen knives that I enjoy using because of their bright colors and light weight. Other than that? There's nothing special about them - they hold their sharpness about as well as any other knife set you'd pick up in WalMart or Bed Bath & Beyond (I've had them for about 6 months now, and while the ones I use need sharpening, they still cut decently).I have yet to sharpen them, because I know when I do that I'll start sharpening the color off the blade. Cuisinart used to be a top brand name in kitchen ware, and now seems to be mass produced like the rest - not the best - but not total trash. They are comfortable to use, being fairly light weight and having a nice grip feel to them. One thing I've noticed over time is that the blades, while easy to clean, tend to hold the color of whatever you're cutting, as if it wants to stain. Carrots will leave an orange residue on the green blade for example, same with anything you go through with some color to it. This washes off (not rinses, but washes with soap and water) with no problem, so it isn't a big deal at all, just an observation. This is fun and functional knife set for someone just getting started in the kitchen, or who are just starting out in their own apartment, etc. | 18% Larger than expected! March 24, 2017 Wow. These are much larger than I anticipated. Very plain, nothing fancy. That's to be expected for the price. Simple pieces of flexible plastic to cut items on. No clue how long they will last, but seem to be okay. Very thin--but at the same time that allows them to fold easily November 12, 2016 These are pretty good. Very thin--but at the same time that allows them to fold very easily. Mine have a ton of cut marks on them already. I love the concept of keeping each board separate for each type of food you cut on it---though I would like to see a vegan/vegetarian version. They slide around on the counter if you don't put something under it to keep it stationary.TIP: Put a damp towel or paper towel under this to keep it from moving while you cut on it. Expendable October 16, 2016 We cook most days in a week. These lasted about a year and a half before they simply had too many cut marks or the knives finally cut through the mat. We washed ours in a dishwasher and stored them horizontally. They all became wavy after just a few uses, but it only hampers the cutting of lighter stuff, like herbs. If the item was light, it would pop around as the knives would come down on the flimsy, wavy board. BUT all that being said, this is certainly a case of getting what you pay for. Since these are cheap and likely intended to be replaced every year or so, I give them 4 stars. sturdy space savers June 16, 2016 We have limited kitchen space, so these were the perfect solution to saving some space. I also love that each is labeled for a specific food, this way I don't need to keep track of which cutting board I used for raw meats and which for veggies. There isn't one labeled for pork, so I simply use the beef one for any raw pork I cut. Its easy to store and holds up well to knives, and I love that they are light weight, making it easy to clean and move around. Another plus was the ability to fold the board and slide the cut meats or veggies straight into a pan or bowl, eliminates dropping food on the floor or counter. Chop! Chop! November 20, 2015 I've purchased these twice and I've continued my satisfaction. I dislike the lack of sterilization large boards can achieve and I have several serious food allergies that make it dangerous for me to cross contaminate meals. We have these, which are easy as anything to clean and inexpensive so as to not break the pocketbook to repurchase often when they become a overused.4 stars because I've found that the blue mat is a bit too dark and it sometimes is a little harder to clean when knife grooves begin to appear. I probably should look in the future to get something with lighter colors. Flexible... almost too flexible! December 22, 2014 They are flexible, all right. Almost too flexible. The problem is that they don't stay flat. They're flat out of the box but when they bend and fold with normal use they will stay that way. That's the compromise for being nice and thin and easy to store. They do, however, protect your table well from your blade quite nicely. Sharp knives will definitely leave noticeable marks in it. Living with vegetarians and non-seafood-lovers, having the little picture in the corner really helps avoiding cross-contamination. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 5% Not sure what an everyday cook would use most of these for - only one is actually good for everyday kitchen prep August 6, 2017 The pictures are a little deceiving. I can really only use the green knife for normal kitchen prep. The yellow has a weird, corrugated shape and I don't even know what that is meant for. The three larger knives are VERY long, so are good for things like cutting bread, but no use for everyday kitchen tasks. The small paring knife is quite small, so also rarely used. I should have just gotten another 1-2 utility knives since I have almost no use for 5/6 of these knives :( Decent but bread knife broke July 20, 2016 Knives are okay. Started out okay in sharpness but never were super sharp. Bread knife pulled itself out of the handle. It would go back in but slide right back out very easily. Guessing the latch that holds the knife internally broke or bent. These knives are definitely not up for more aggressive tasks. (I was cutting styrofoam) On top of that, the colors wear off in novelty. Eventually you feel like you're a toddler with a set of knives from Fisher-Price.If you want your knives to last beyond a couple years or handle some more aggressive tasks (you never know when), I'd suggest getting something where the blade goes through the entire handle and uses a strong bolt to keep the handle in place. Six Months Later And I Need A New Set Of Knives May 24, 2016 Had these for 6 months now, not very impressed. Two of the larger ones are not sharp anymore. 2 of the smaller ones were never very useful for anything and have disappeared somewhere as they never really got used for anything. Gave a few sets of these as cheap Christmas gifts, regret that decision now. Have one set left unopened, would return it if Amazon would take it.They do look nice. Bought a set of something that looked exactly like these at Costco 4 years ago. Those were very sharp and lasted a long time.Thought I was getting the same thing. Disappointed with these Lots of knives that I won't ever need March 31, 2016 My knives were getting dull and I was in need for new kitchen knives for general food preparation such as chopping veggies or slicing sausages. I settled on this set since it includes a ton of knives at a decent price. When they arrived I quickly realized I will never have a need for about half of these odd knives, and about 95% of the time I just use the smallest, which is a hair too small for my tasks. The knives also only a hair sharper than my old dull ones that I was replacing. Needless to stay, I'm still in the market for kitchen knives. Okay for the price August 22, 2015 I just got these and my initial thought is I'm a little disappointed. From reading the reviews they sounded like an amazing deal, but now that I've used them I guess you get what you pay for. I used three of the knives for cutting tomatoes, carrots, onions, potatoes, pork and beef and I compared them to a knife that I bought from a local big box store about a year ago. It wasn't anything too special. It cost about $15 dollars. The knife that I bought a year ago easily out performed all three of the knives that I tried from this set. Maybe that's why the price on these knives have dropped so substantially over the last few weeks. Not worth it in the end August 7, 2015 These are sharp and attractive but I have had them for 6 months and am already seeing major wear on the blades. The two chefs knives (which get the most use) have discoloration and nicks in the blades. They have never been in the dishwasher. I think this was a case of "you get what you pay for." Also the yellow knife (looks orange in the pick but is a really true lemon shade in reality) is an odd shape and I haven't found a way I like to use it. Maybe if you rarely cook and want something that looks nice and is functional I could see these working out but for someone like me that cooks daily these just don't cut it (no pun intended(; ) | 16% 3.5 months of use and it already needs to be replaced April 11, 2017 Very colorful but much thinner than the set I was replacing. I scored the veggie one quite easily (& deeply) on my 1st use, cutting potatoes. I am continuing to use this mat set but I'm looking for a heavier replacement - I purchased this set for use with Christmas dinner prep & I am already needing to replace it Won't last a long time March 22, 2017 I had a different set of these prior and they lasted for several years, these are starting to warp and fall apart so they don't appear to last near as long. Not great but not bad November 30, 2016 These cutting mats do the job, but I find them to be flimsy. My sharp knives immediately left tons of grooves cut into the surface. Also they warp a little when you wash them in the dishwasher. However, for lazy days when you don't feel like using and washing up a heavier cutting board, these do the trick! Cheap but functional November 29, 2016 Well, you get what you pay for with these cutting mats. On the positive side, they are bright and colorful with pictures on the corners to separate meats from fruits and veggies. On the negative side, these things are not resilient at all. After about 2 weeks of use they are full of slice marks and are completely warped in shape. They are still functional but I gotta say, they aren't looking too pretty any longer. They are cheap and functional. 3 stars. and can be bent easily. They did arrive flat though March 13, 2015 Standard plastic cutting boards/mats. Pack of 4. I sort of thought these would be more flexible, so they could be rolled up and stored, but that's not the case. They are fairly rigid, and can be bent easily. They did arrive flat though, which is more than I can say about the last set of plastic cutting boards we had. They are pretty thin, and I managed to cut all the way through one with a sharp bread knife by accident. I should have known better though, since none of these mats have a picture of bread on them. As such, these are best used with non-serrated knives. Nice that they are image coded for use June 21, 2014 First impressions: FlimsyThe Pros: They haven't worn out ... yesThe Cons: My knives aren't that sharp but just cutting veggies on these boards has almost put a hole through them- They are supposed to be... you know .. CUT on .. they could have made them slightly thicker or used a stronger polymerWorth the Money / Would I buy this item again?: Meh hard call- yes and no | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 2% Meh August 2, 2017 Underwhelmed with cutting edge and grip. If your habds are even slightly wet thus will slip in your grip. Bread knife is a waste of time. Bought to replace a similar type set puchased from cosco 3 years ago. Those 3 year old knives still cut better and thats just sad because they were going in the trash when these new knives arrived. I own many high quality Cuisinart products. These are definately not one of them Bleh June 20, 2017 Colorful but not especially sharp and half the set is ridiculously long so will never use STAINLESS STEEL IS NOT FOR ME!!!!!!!! March 25, 2017 I like the fact that they are different colors but I didn't know they were stainless steel. Over the years I have learned that stainless steel knives are some of the worse knives on the market today. They can be sharpened to where they will shave, placed in a drawer for a while say 6 months then taken out. Just sitting around they will have become very dull. I will never buy any stainless steel knives. ... really excited about these for about 2 weeks I love the colors and the way they feel July 6, 2016 I was really excited about these for about 2 weeks I love the colors and the way they feel. I've only ever hand washed them, dried them before returning them to their sheeths, and used them for their intended purpose. After two weeks of use they are already dull. Wish I had paid more for a nicer set. I don't recommend them though December 8, 2015 This purchase was a mistake for me. The knives are not very sharp - except for the paring knife - and the serrated ones are not what I would call serrated. They're wavy! I gave them a 2 because they do cut. I don't recommend them though. I was hoping that the name meant I was getting a great product for a great price. Why haven't I learned yet that you get what you pay for. Beware: Coating (paint?) eventually wears off November 5, 2015 Basically you get what you pay for here.....nice looking/feel good in the hand but......after 3 months of daily use the "coating" is wearing off. See attached pic. These are pretty much painted to look like high end ceramic knives that are popular right now. Im shopping for replacements because who knows what the coating is made of and whether or not its ending up in the food I cook. For what its worth I sharpened a couple of them after about a months use and they sharpened up fine. If I could do over I'd skip these and get something that will last. | 9% They mark up easy and occasionally would find a plastic sliver in my ... March 13, 2017 Meh. They warped with the first washing (apparently I can tolerate hotter water than the plastic can). They mark up easy and occasionally would find a plastic sliver in my veggies from slicing. Great...if you have dull knives, otherwise don't buy. October 14, 2016 We bought these after reading all the reviews, however unless you have dull knives, you will be cutting these things into pieces in seconds. They are more flimsy then they should be. If there were a mm or 2 thicker, they would be perfect. You could honestly roll these up like a piece of paper due to how thin.We personally will not be buying these again, but they could be useful for maybe slicing butter... I really wanted to love these when I ordered them August 16, 2016 I really wanted to love these when I ordered them. I love that they have the picture and are color coded. However, I went to cute cabbage on the vegetable mat and it slide right out from under my hands. Once I got it a little more secure I cut through the cabbage and after placing it into the bowl I picked up the mat to wash it and my knife had cut right through the plastic. Yikes! Sadly this version was not nearly as nice. Plus the box used for shipping was too ... July 22, 2015 The second set we bought of these were much thinner and did not have the anti slip finish on the non cutting side. Sadly this version was not nearly as nice. Plus the box used for shipping was too small and the mats were kinked when they arrived. We would not order these again. Buy a better set. February 10, 2015 Cute, but don't like them. They are virtually "one time use". Not a good cutting board. Super flimsy. Had a similar product purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond, but this is inferior. The purpose of these is to chop and transfer easily... this becomes a messy process with this product. Cheapies July 21, 2014 These are cheap! I'm glad the only reason I got them was because I needed free shipping. I could see the cut marks on them the first time I used them. Also There should be one for Fruit so I use the blue fish one for fruit instead. They are kind of annoying to wash and dry since they take up so much space and they do not air dry well, they take forever. The only thing I like about them is that they're flexible. Other than that, stick with a regular cutting board. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 2% Dull after one use July 25, 2017 Bought these to keep in the vacation box. Used them for ONE meal and they're dull! I realize these aren't crazy expensive, but I expected these to work for the one week I vacation a year for a few years at least. I'm sending them back. USELESS! February 15, 2017 DON'T BUY. I BOUGHT THESE BASED ON REVIEWS (WHICH ARE GREAT) AND THEY SUCK!!! I'M SO UPSET. CANT EVEN CHOP A TOMATO RIGHT, NOT SHARP ENOUGH. I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THEM. MAYBE I GOT A BAD SET? I DONT KNOW. Don't bother with these June 4, 2016 They're cute because of the color, but almost immediately they turn super dull. I can't even cut a lemon in half now without using all my strength. On top of that, I cut turmeric root with this and they're all stained AND IT WON'T COME OFF. Frustrating. I should have just stuck with the normal knives that didn't have the fancy colors because...it wasn't worth it. Disappointed December 16, 2015 I bought this set for our vacation home. I didn't need anything fancy or expensive, just something that would work for simple meals. Unfortunately, the only thing these knifes are good for is to look cute in a drawer or displayed. These knives are pretty bad. Not a single knife could cut a tomato.. and i tried every one of them. I strongly suggest paying a little more money for something that will actually cut through your food. | 11% Not a very durable product January 7, 2017 Unfortunately I have got little to no use out of these. If you do buy these, do not run them through the dishwasher. I didn't read anywhere where it said not to but I could be wrong, however , when I did run these through the dishwasher they curled up and now are completely unusable. Another thing that I did not like about them is that it scars up way too easily. They are cheap, flimsy and poorly made. I would not recommend anyone purchase these. $10 for 4 of them...I guess you get what you pay for. While I like the colors July 20, 2016 I had high hopes for these, as I had nought similar ones on a whim at a local $1 store for a disposable mat for a cooking class. Those lasted forever! THESE however, lasted one use. While I like the colors, the quality as a cutting mat is terrible. The first time I used them, the knife sliced right through the mats. When I washed the mats, they rolled and warped just from hot sink water (so definitely don't put in the dishwasher!) I recently bought the thicker mats in a 2 pack at a certain large Swedish store that starts with "I" and ends with "kea". They were a much better buy and have been doing awesome so far. I wouldn't recommend these 4 mats from Counter Art on Amazon. I purchased this based on the good reviews, but this is almost disposable quality material ... November 29, 2015 Cheap quality. It completely lost shape when put in the dishwasher and has knife marks all over it when I accidentally used it on the reverse side. I purchased this based on the good reviews, but this is almost disposable quality material and turned out to be a waste of money. Terrible November 18, 2015 Terrible. Not what i expected these things are near paper thin. Nearly cut through them. After a few light uses tons of damage from cutting. i feel like i would be better off just cutting on the counter top. These terrible things went where they belong the trash. DONT BUT I really liked the color and the division of boards November 9, 2015 I really liked the color and the division of boards. However, after one use just to cut potatoes, there are cut marks on the veggie board, one more cut and it will cut through. This is just pretty not functional at all. Weak Cutting Mats July 7, 2015 I'm disappointed in these cutting mats. Unless you are using a butter knife you will cut right through these. I thought they seemed flimsy when they arrived but hoped they would be tougher than they looked. Not the case. The first time I used one I noticed deep knife marks and it didn't take long to cut all the way through. Since there are four, one for veggies, beef, poultry and fish, I thought it would stand up to sharp knives. The flexibility is nice but other than that it was a waste of money. Bummer. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
