I'm a floss nut and think it's more important than brushing. This floss is very effective and I really like the 200 yards rather than the small containers.

This is my go-to floss. Lasts forever and at a great price.

However, it is the thin, thread-like floss, not the thicker, spongy type which I prefer. Nevertheless, this will certainly last longer than the free samples the dentist provides.

What's not to like.Love the large size so I don't have to buy very often.

I have been using this product for a long time and for some reason it has become difficult to find through local sources. They only stock fruit flavors, or extra stretchy, or extra fine, or fuzzy, or a ribbon, or some bizarre combination of all the above. I just want floss that does not break between my tight molars leaving fuzzy threads there that annoy me until I can get it out. I would also like maybe just a little more than five yards or even ten yards of floss in a single container. With the Reach Dental Floss, Waxed you can get 200 yards (about 300 applications using about 24 inches per) which means you can go well over 18 months with this two-pack, for less than two single packs.

I love the large 200yd quantity for a small price. You just occasionally add this into a cart when ordering from Amazon and it lasts a while. It does a great job of cleaning between my teeth and ripping out any gunk in your teeth or gums. Flosses that are very smooth like Glide don't grab all the gunk, it just slides over. The store brand flosses are too thin and fail to do as good a job. Maybe I got too much going on between my teeth, but they feel better after using this each night.

I like this type of floss better than the cheaper wax kind. I have tight spaces between my teeth and find that this floss is able to get into those tight places and really clean out my teeth. It gentle and doesn't fray like the wax kind. My dentist actually gives the mini versions of this floss out and I always grab one or two when I go in for my appointment. I seriously carry it with me everywhere!

As far as flosses go, I'm not terribly picky. I just need something that won't break all the time and is relatively cheap. This floss hits the mark about as well as any that I've used. I floss daily and rarely ever break this floss. I have occasionally but usually it's pretty clearly my fault that I scraped it against a tooth strangely.One thing I really appreciate about this floss is that it's not too powerfully flavored. I'm not hugely tolerant of things that will leave a strange taste in my mouth and between my teeth, like I feel a strong and fake mint flavor does. The Glide floss has a subtle mint flavor, and that's all it needs.As far as it's actual "gliding"... Well I can't really say it's much different than most other floss I've tried, but it works just fine.

I'm not a big fan of mint. I thought I would prefer something unflavored, but this one just seems clean feeling. It's not exactly a flavor, but it is, mostly it just seems clean. But what I like the best is the GLIDE floss. After using these I wonder why anyone would use ordinary dental floss. This is so much easier to use. It slides easily has a much bigger surface to rub on the teeth and it doesn't hurt. It's also easier to hold and pull. I will never use anything else and I tried some competing products. I was disappointed.

This is by far my favorite floss. My teeth are really close together, so it's hard for me to find floss that doesn't fray or get stuck in between my teeth. I like the minty sensation this floss leaves in my mouth. I haven't been able to find it better-priced in any retail stores, so I continue to buy it from Amazon instead. It's a good value here.

As a cheapskate, I was apprehensive about the price and the fact you get less on a roll than most other flosses. I've since discovered you'll probably use a lot less of this than other floss. With other floss, I usually pull out a good 15 inches of floss and wrap it around my fingers many times because with the thin floss, it starts to slip when it gets wet. We all know what happens when you pull too little floss and try and floss with it. It just slips off your fingers. I probably pull 30-40% less of this than the cheap floss, because it does not slip. One loop around the finger is all it takes. This might make you think it won't be slippery enough to go between your teeth. It slips between teeth very easily, and does a better job cleaning. It also feels better on the space between your gums, whereas cheap, thin floss might feel like it's cutting into your gums at times. Like mustard, this is one product it pays to buy the slightly more expensive product.

This is the best floss I've tried. It really does "glide". It moves very smoothly between my teeth and rarely breaks. It's not so thin that it feels like it's cutting your fingers and gums.

No complaint in quality. Could have been 5 stars if the price had stayed low.

I've used this in the past, lasts a while, but what happened to the mint? -- it is barely there; perhaps a hint of mint. Seems thinner than my last package also. Disappointed, and feel, that like everything else, the quality has gone down from what it was as the price goes up. Stil, it does the job and I will continue to use it, but will look for something heavier and tastier next time.

I had a container of this back when the Johnson & Johnson labeling was more prominent, and I figured all floss was about the same. Having run out of that, I've since discovered that there are a lot of inferior flosses.I have a bonded wire retainer, and it shreds most other flosses (which is bad, as they invariably get little bits stuck in the braided wire). This floss mostly holds up to it, and is at least usable. It still frays a bit sometimes, but usually not enough to cause problems. Plus, despite the relatively small size, the container holds a ridiculous amount of floss inside, so I expect it to last me for quite a while.

I love that there's so much floss! It'll last me a long long time as just one person. :) I've gotten these before and sometimes, the floss gets stuck and you have to open the canister to fix it. But so far, this last purchase hasn't done it yet. That's the only reason I take one star off. Otherwise, great buy!

I have been using this floss for years and it's the best value for the money. It's not too stiff like a lot of other brands out there. It does sometimes shread between my teeth but I think that's to be expected with most brands. It has a light mint flavor, not too strong and very pleasant.This is a much better value than the more expensive brands.

Great at getting crud out from in between teeth. Hate that I don't know what the ingredients are though. I haven't been able to find a floss like this without flavoring.

Full disclosure: My teeth and I pose a tough challenge to all floss. Several of my teeth are pretty crowded together in very tight places, and most floss I have tried shreds and breaks, even if I am super gentle in my movements. This product does better than most, but it does still shred/break about 20% of the time. Since my rate of breakage has usually been more like 80%, this is a welcome improvement. The mint flavor is also pleasant.

I never tried the flat ribbon type of floss before, but this stuff does a good job. It's mint flavored and tastes good... just wash your hands before rubbing the corner of your eye. While "minty" ain't so bad in the mouth,,, it takes on a whole new dimension in the eye.

The last one purchased was opened and taped back shut. Yuk! I threw it away. I'm not wanting to use in my mouth. Who know what was done with it. But the product itself is great. Just not this time. It wasn't worth the time to return.

This is my usual brand of floss. My teeth are very tightly spaced, and once in a while this floss breaks while I'm flossing, but it never gets stuck or frays.

It's kinda pricey, but you do get what you pay for, which is a really smoothy, easy to use, and good tasting floss. Doesn't fray and goes in between teeth quickly. The only problem I have with it is that it's sometimes hard to grip, especially with moisture involved (saliva, or wet hands). The Butterweave by GUM gives you more bang for the buck, and is easy to grip, but it's not as comfortable and easy to use.

The price is good. But it will separate into many ropes.

I have had some issue with the floss fraying while using it and there may not be as much wax as some other brands such as Glide. It is a great value and I loved that it had 200 yards but the quality just wasn't there. I'll finish the package but don't foresee myself buying this again.

Ordered the wrong Floss.Looking for the no fray floss that Reach makes but this is not it !

I love the idea of more floss and less plastic waste but the floss gets stuck all the time and you have to open the lid and fix it. Is it just me?

More of a tape than regular floss. Breaks & shreds too easily. My wife seems to like it. If you have tight spaces between your teeth, I'd get something else.

Not your standard floss - thicker and flat.

First package arrived without plastic packaging, which was odd... who touched my floss! Replacement arrived with shoddy packaging, too. Still, a good deal, and I've not developed any strange mouth diseases yet.

Floss works as it should. My only complaint is that the coating of mint that it has actually gets on the fingers, so lets just say that rubbing your eyes after flossing is highly not recommended!

A bit too fine. Not what my dentist has recommended. Doesn't leave a nice cool minty taste in my mouth. Cleans okay.

I am still searching for a high enough quality floss that will not break in between my teeth.

Misleading photo... The product is different from what what is shown in the photo. The product has no "Johnson & Johnson" in the front label. I could purchased the same product for a lot of cheaper (~$3/pack), but I paid $6.47/pack for the label "Johnson & Johnson"

Not very high quality floss--it isn't very well waxes. The floss strands split when there is a tight squeeze between teeth. Works OK when there are large gaps in the teeth--but that's not really the point of floss is it?It is a very good size and will surely last me a long time and it isn't so bad that I will throw out. I also like the flavoring. In general I think the quality is poor of this floss and I don't recommend it.

Agree with one star review -- thin and not very well waxed. I gave it two stars because it works alright if plenty of space between teeth, but immediate tore and shredded if teeth close together. (I've had no problem with the close teeth with other brands of ribbon floss.)Not only that, when this floss shredded, left bits in between the teeth that were hard to get out. I think the ribbon, floss that worked well was a store brand, so will have to experiment with brands on Amazon. Meanwhile, if it helps anyone - I've found the brand name Doctor's Brush Picks (not imitations that often shred) is great for getting in between even very close teeth near the gumline. They clean out any stuck food, just not for pulling up along whole side surface of the tooth as a good floss can do.

I don't really like this floss. It is easy to use, but it doesn't remove hardly any plaque because it is so smooth.

Keeps breaking! I have used Glide a lot of times, not this one and have never had issues with the string breaking while flossing. Will not purchase 'this one' again.

At some point a few years ago, Oral-B, like many companies, seems to have lowered their quality to maintain a price point. This stuff would be great if IT JUST DIDN"T BREAK. Kind of stunning in a way, and anti-consumer, in my opinion.

Too smooth and slippery. Have a hard time keeping it wrapped around my fingers and doesn't feel like it cleans as well.

Glide floss is generally great. Comfortable, easy to use, and easy to slide between teeth. For some reason though, the mint flavor version breaks constantly. It's not uncommon for me to need to use three times as much because it's always breaking while I use it. This didn't happen with the unflavored, which is totally bizarre. But Amazon dropped the unflavored from the Subscribe and Save program so now you can only get mint. The stuff works, but expect it to cost 2-3 times as much because of the amount you have to use.

I used to love this product, but it kept getting thinner and thinner until now it keeps breaking between the teeth leaving the remanning floss to be stock in there for the rest of the day. :( Not only does it defeats the purpose of having a dental floss, but totally ruining your day.All Johnson & Johnson floss got thinner and cheaper.Why is Johnson & Johnson monopolizing the dental floss industry anyways? Is there no one else who can do it better?!Anyways, don't buy it, it sucks!

Knockoff dental floss? Really? This is not Johnson and Johnson. Thin barely waxed string that frays in your teeth and cuts your gums.

I did not received what it is pictured here. The picture shows a product I have used for many years. What I received did not say Johnson & Johnson in red on the dispenser as pictured here. Further, the dental floss was not green which is what I am familiar with. The floss is white and very thin. It shreds apart when I floss my teeth. I returned it. Maybe that is way it is so cheap.

The floss is too thin and not waxed enough. I end up having to double it up for it to work, and I'm not super gap toothed. So since I double it, I'm ending up paying more for less. Won't buy again, will try the more expensive ribbon floss.

The dental floss I received is the one on the left(see photo). Clearly it doesn't have the red writing "Johnson & Johnson". I have questioning the authentication of the item.

I ordered this floss and the first three times I have used it, it has broken in half after flossing between 2-3 teeth. What is the point of floss if it breaks in half during use? I had used it before and it worked just fine, but apparently either the product has changed or I got a bad batch. It simply does not work.

Keeps on tearing. I haven't had this problem before with the regular (non-mint, original version). I'm not sure if it's tearing because the mint version is thinner/weaker, or simply because they shipped me a faulty product. Either way, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated.

After using the wonderful Glide Original Floss, I had hopes that the cheaper, Deep Clean Cool Mint would be comparable. I finally ran out of my original today, so I got into the Cool Mint and have been massively disappointed. While the Original clearly outperformed the J & J Reach I had previously used, I found the Deep Clean floss nearly unusable. My first four or five attempts to floss resulted in the strands breaking. I finally found a segment that held up, but that was not a consistent result, unfortunately. I'm definitely going back to the Original Floss from Glide. I wish I could return this two pack, but it's been months since I ordered it. I still may give it a try since Amazon's customer service is unusually ( and consistently) excellent!

My teeth are very tight together so Glide is really the only floss I can use. The regular floss in the white container is great, but this "deep clean" stuff breaks virtually every time I use it.You may not have this problem, but if you use Glide specifically because your teeth are tight, stick to the regular kind in the white packaging. The stuff in the green packaging breaks often for me too.

I have purchased this in the past but this batch was HORRIBLE... It breaks and you have to use more than you should to get the job done. I think that it is old product.
